Allow me to present ECLECTIC ATTORNEY- a fan adventure!

My recipient (Biorenewologist/iamnotathing, platform unknown) asked for a Ace Attorney style case for Eclectic, and I did my best to deliver! This is a REAL visual novel game that YOU CAN PLAY!

You do NOT need to have listened to Palisade to solve the mystery, all clues are given to you in the game. However, there will be mild spoilers, like characters/appearances that appear later in the season. It is not canon compliant, Blue Channel crew that never met will be hanging out!

If you have never listened to Friends at the table or Palisade, the character interactions (and there's lots of those) might not be as entertaining for you.

bringing Umbra into 1999 is a really good idea bc imagine the interesting dynamic he can have with Eleanor because he is, literally, a physical embodiment of her fears: of losing to the infestation and killing those closest to her and potentially losing all aspect of herself with only the memory of that haunting her - but he's also a physical embodiment of hope, because despite all of that Umbra still came back to himself, in a way, in some form of fashion, even if it wasn't completely whole and back to the person he used to be.

me initially about bringing umbra to 1999: teehee umbra getting to space dad drifter in the past and the hex needing to get on his good side while drifter gets on theirs

Tommy has eloped with a young bride the family has deemed untrustworthy from reputable sources. The couple has just returned from their honeymoon in Paris and now the new Mrs. Shelby would like to meet those closest to him. The couple spares no expense for their lovely housewarming party, but it's ill-fated from the beginning as those Tommy holds near and dear try to run her off with tales of horror. Every room holds a surprise and each guest a secret, but what could they be?

That's where you come into play! Can we get Mrs. Shelby to crack under the weight of our deviousness? Let's try, it will be such fun!

Hey Lee! I'm doing good, babe. How about you? Hope things are doing fine. Of course I can. Let me give you my two cents on jealous Rooster.

I think jealous Bradley can be very different depending on the situation. He can be the quiet type, that stays in the corner bubbling with anger but holding himself together because he doesn’t want people to notice how he is feeling—which doesn’t works really well because he to me it is very easy to see how he is feeling; or he can be the type to pick up a fight for nothing and ending up saying very hurtful things without even noticing.

Im actually a big fan of scooby doo remakes that are more mature. However the key is that the gang MUST act as they normally do. Everyone else can be realistic and gritty but we need the talking dog, the guy who's obsessed with traps and "jinkies" "jeepers" and "zoinks"!!!

Sky Fish

So. Haven't posted in a while. But I have knowledge I NEED to share with the world. I can't think of a funny way to portray it so... -serves it up on a platter-

The Sky Fish familiar that Marcille makes in episode 22 / chapter 48.

This is "real".

This is the cryptid or UMA (read: yu-ma or Unidentified Mysterial Animals) known in Japan as the Sky Fish, and in English as a flying rod or rod.

So like, this is actually a thing. Japanese TV loves UFOs and Cryptids (or maybe I'm biased because my Beetle is the one who's obsessed but.) the timing for This Specfic Cryptid's popularity and when Ryoko Kui was writing/starting out with this story, are around the same time. This specific UMA had such an impact on me when i first saw it in TV 10ish years ago, that I was so excited about its appearance, and then confused and amused in equal measure when my Capybara had no idea what I was talking about.

AND THE TV SHOW I WATCHED! the original episode clip is still on youtube, although lacking English subtitles (although you can translate the auto generated subtitles to English if you want to try).

Basically, Jose Escamilla of Roswell, New Mexico (and several other sources around middle and South America) caught this UMA/Cryptid on video in 90s? But the story and other people catching them on video and in pictures still pop up, but with improved phone cameras, the proof that it's likely just bugs flying at just the right frame rate to make a long cat style image is more prevalent lol.

But this was/is a super popular UMA in Japan. Like, there are gacha minis, and figures, cryptid books, and other anime featuring these lil guys.

JoJo's bizarre adventures Stone Ocean's Sky High stand, Skytails from Zelda, and a Kemono Friend are some examples.

I want a lil sky fish figurine now...

But yea...
