(latepost coz I tried to do a multiple post and Instagram hung on me so now have to repost again) lunch at @l_t3_b house yesterday coz she prepared for the very first time, Singapore's famed Bak Chor Mee based on @themeatmensg cooking channel on youtube! For a novice, I have to say sis did this dish well, although the sauce and vinegar needs a bit more ooompfh and also more pork oil to coat all that mee-pok so that it glistens and shines! When I saw the youtube channel I can't imagine all the preparation she has to go through to gather up all the ingredients and condiments. She even brought in the pork-mushroom meatballs from Singapore!!! Can't wait for her to cook this again the second time!
