I once adopted a design from @earthprincewu and started me down the rabbit hole of finally playing D&D (although I was watching Critical Role at that point).  And I love his art so much, he’s my go to artist to get art of my characters! Also really easy to work with (I had trouble once with my references my emailing properly on my end), and really catches character traits/personalities from descriptions.

From left to right:

Hodur Starchaser:  Male, human, druid/ranger.  Hodur was abandoned as a newborn in the forest and raised by a druid group, but as a teenager felt called away to do more to protect people.  He found a hidden community protected by the drow goddess Eilistraee, and become one of the Silverhair Knights dedicated to protecting the community.  One of the major events was finding Myrr as she fled from the Underdark and escorting her to the surface.  The two eventually married and had a child, Ilyas.

Lesha (fox): Hodur’s animal companion.

Myrr Starchaser:  Female, drow, formerly an assassin, currently cleric (formerly of House Xorlann) Originally the youngest daughter of drow house Xorlann, the birth of another daughter brought displeasure from Lloth the Spider Queen instead of favor.  She was given over the house’s weaponmaster to become an assassin, one that function with no thought or feeling.  Unaware that the weaponmaster was her own father, and dedicated to getting people out of the Underdark, he raised her with the skills to stay alive and a sharp mind all her own.  She was also plagued with dreams, of moonlight and the surface world, of peace and existence without fear.  Guided by Eilistraee, she fled the Underdark to the surface and took on the name Myrr, where she became a Sword Dancer of Eilistraee and the head cleric/priestess of the inter-connected surface communities.  Mother to Ilyas and wife to Hodur.

Ilyas Starchaser:  Demi-gender, half-drow and half human, sorceror.  Son of Hodur and Myrr.  The night that Myrr went into labor, a drow surface raid struck the village.  Wishing to keep her safe, Hodur and the others hid Myrr in a cave and sealed the interest.  Frightened that her child would be born in the dark, Myrr cried out to Eilistraee, who sent her light as well as her own presence to be with Myrr while the child was born.  While not outright certain, his parents believe the circumstances of his birth to be the reason behind the magic running in his veins.  Ilyas is bubbly and bright, always seeking to help whoever is in need.

Sahir (Dawnseeker):  Male, tiefling, warlock.  Sahir’s parents before his birth made a pact with the demon Mephistopheles for power, in exchange for their first child, to which the two readily agreed.  Once he was born Sahir was given over to one of the demon’s cults, where he was raised towards a singular goal, rumored to be one of many potential vessels for some purpose.  As one of the only vessels to survive Mephistopheles/his cults brutal practices, the demon’s attention was drawn to Sahir, until on outside entity broke their pact and stole Sahir away.  In truth Sahir had never fallen for the cults brainwashing and wished to escape, and did so with the help of the Seeker, who he has formed a new pact.  Hunted, Sahir was found by Ilyas and brought to the village.  The two soon became very close, but seemed to be waiting for someone to join them.
