One last Coven Head just before Christmas.

Agnes "Granny" Jagoda is the Head of the Abomination Coven. She spent most of her life being a regular witch until one day she discovered that she could combine the secret formula of her family's pastry with the abomination clay, now in addition to running the coven she also has an empire of sweets and edible abominations that are safe to consume, just don't ask her about her family's secret ingredient, because only her heir will know before she goes to the grave.

So, a week ago I decided to start a little Art Challenge, to try to revive the TOH fandom a little and also to see the creativity on our community. The Original Coven Head challenge, or the #MyOwnCovenHeads challenge.

And of course I was gonna make it myself.

Muriel Cunningham is the Bard Coven Head, as well as the one who manages all the ports of the Boiling Isles, she is also the captain of her own ship and has an impressive record of 1000 accident-free voyages. Despite being a bard, she is quite physically strong due to her life as a sea merchant, she does not play any instruments, having perfected her voice to sing like an opera diva. On her neck is a gem that was given to her by a mermaid in her youth, it interacts with her magic and makes those who hear her sing want to join her, either with an instrument, singing or dancing. It is not unusual for a great concert to break out every time she comes to port.

And with this, the 9 main covens are done

The ancient myths of the Isles spoke of a secret order of knights dedicated to protecting the populace from the shadows of the forests, The Ironwood Order, so when the current Lord Captain of the order stood before Emperor Belos offering his and his colleagues' swords to serve him, it was quite the news. The Emperor immediately tasked him with claiming the head of the former leader of the plant coven who had a reputation for being a despot towards those who served them, and in less than a day the job was done and Sidgurd was named the new Coven Head, moving headquarters to the now revealed Ironwood Castle in the middle of Thoracic Forest. His strength and nobility immediately caused the coven to gain popularity amongst the populace, so many new members allowing the Ironwood Knights to establish themselves in multiple cities to help keep the peace. His armor is made of a secret alloy shared only among the highest members of the order, with the strength of the most tempered steel but maintaining the properties of wood so he can still manipulate it at will with his magic.

Almost done with the Coven Heads, lets keep going

The prestigious Head of the Beast Keeping Coven. One would think that a woman with her bearing and elegance would never deign to work with beast demons directly, but she really loves animals and everything that has to do with them. She also runs a fashion emporium on the isles, always making sure that her materials come from well-cared-for beasts with the best living conditions before it is time to process them. Her beloved pets, Edward and Edddy, are two Chupacabra that come from far away lands, their mother being introduced to the islands illegally and Edna, taking care of the traffickers, decided to adopt her and her puppies. Now the mother is a beautiful piece of taxidermy in the Tanner mansion and her offspring live happily.

Finally back at it. Here is the second of the #MyOwnCovenHead challenge.

Enide Bureau. The Oracle Coven Head, Enide comes from an ancient family of demons on the islands. She experimented with divination magic in her youth and is said to have seen a future so horrible that she was left completely blind as a result. After several years in complete darkness, Enide managed to focus her magic and attune it to a relic of her family, the "Phantom Eye of Palanter" which not only allowed her to summon an ancient and powerful spirit, but also to conjure spectral eyes with which she has a psychic connection, going from being blind to being almost omniscient within a specific range.

New year, New Covenhead

Silas was always a brilliant businessman, being the founder of the entertainment industry on the islands and helping to popularize the use of crystal balls as a means of transmission. One day he simply snapped, and stormed out of his company screaming about having to find his master. The next day he would return with a puppet of his own making, Sir Mephistopheles, whom he would put in charge of his company and basically in charge of his own life. Hase is a powerful illusionist, mastering the technique of "Solid Illusion" since his youth, but with his advanced age and increasingly degraded mental state, he no longer knows who around him is real and not an illusion of his own making. The only one he can count on to know the truth is Sir Mephistopheles, for he always knows best.

Depression is kicking my butt but I still keep drawing.

Cave Bear Demons aren't a well-known species on the isles, so the fact that one managed to rise to become Coven Head was news on everyone's lips at the time. Bartholomeus is a pretty straightforward man, he'll do his job and expect everyone else to do theirs, and if you're on his side he'll always have your back. He runs the titan bone mines and knows the tunnels like the back of his remaining hand, losing his left hand in a cave-in while saving other miners but replacing it with a mechanical one he can manipulate in the form of a giant drill that he can use to blast his way through anything.

The year is close to end, but Im still drawing my Coven Heads

The mysterious Head of the Potion Coven and a veteran of the Unification War. It is said that the trauma of war and combat mentally ruined him to the point that to this day, he believes to still in being on combat duty. The rest of his coven leave him alone in his base in The Knee where he prepares all kinds of potions and chemicals lethal to living beings, his survival is only possible thanks to the mask and the tank on his back. He created a special weapon that fires ammunition made from these potions of death and always has at least 3 types of shots loaded.

Oh look, another one just before Christmas. Here it is Corvus Grimwing, Head of the Healing Coven.

The honorable leader of the Healing Coven, Corvus is a raven demon who comes from a family that lacks wings. Corvus understands life and death like no one else, not only being able to cure some of the most lethal diseases on the isles but also giving the dead a proper grave and preparing them for the afterlife. He is in charge of the cemeteries around the islands, as well as the morgues, which he personally tends to when he has time.

So many ideas, so little time. I decided to sketch some of the Coven Heads I already have a concrete idea for them instead of going one for one and ending up forgetting something. Can you guess which coven they are from each?
