My desk is in the living room and in the mornings I tend to write a lot and we both have our coffee. Sometimes I look up and he's staring over in my direction and I inevitably, even after ten years, bristle and go,

"What?"

And he pretty much always says,

"Just lookin' at you."

And just the same, even after all this time, I feel my heart go stupid. Who's this cutie staring at me from across the room? Lol bet I look like shit right now
