Today God reminded me of His goodness. This song called Goodness of God came across my playlist this morning and I can’t stop thinking of how good God is. He’s been with me all my life and He’s always been faithful and good. He was there for me when He created the universe the way that He did. He was there for me 2000 years ago when He died in order to pay a debt I owed. He was there for me when He formed me. He was there every time I lost someone I loved and it hurt like crazy. I do not have any words. Early this evening I got word that my dog Maddie had passed away. She came into our lives when I was 17 and we went and got her from Oklahoma. She always protected me and always slept at the foot of the bed for comfort. This last year has been a little hard to see her since I live away from her. She was the best dog.
