Oct 17th: And so, the repotting began! And Azalea sat in to observe the chaos. First, I uprooted all of my succulents. (Their root systems grow surprisingly long and large!) Second, I dumped the old soil into a plastic bag. I threw it out, but in thinking about it some more, I wish I’d found a better way to get rid of it. Maybe recycle it somehow if possible. Definitely something I want to look into for future instances of soil changes. Third, it was time to put in a few pebbles to help with drainage and then add the cactus soil on top. [note: sorry about my messy desk ^^;]
