I'm replaying Tales of the Abyss for the first time in a long time, and I keep tearing up over my sons (Luke and Asch!) and all of the trauma they refuse to acknowledge they have. I fiercely love Luke at his bratty, self-centered stage, but also his commitment to treat other people better post-Akzeriuth has stuck with me ever since I first played the game as a teenager. (i'm old now)

Tales was also a really important community to me from the mid-2000s to the mid-2010s. I'm not so involved in the fandom anymore, but I remember going to a Tales of Symphonia forum (the one with the skit faces we all used!) as my first online space I really interacted in, and then in 2008 I did my first cosplay as Luke, and by 2010 I'd made a lot of friends to meet up and do group cosplays with! I miss y'all ;_;

I feel like if it were the canon sae in bl, the story of priceless would end so fast lol bc he would for sure tell bianca to fuck off when she tried to imply that she doesn't want to see anyone else with him even after he made it clear that he doesn't return her feelings. this is the guy who ruthlessly dismisses anyone who doesn't hold him interests for more than a few seconds (see the jfa association director and that poor interviewer). he's the chief commander of the idgaf war. if he doesn't care, he doesn't care. man is his own boss and can't careless abt your feelings imo. But I understand that the sae in your fic is your personal interpretation of him. Since this sae is an adult, you can say that time has mellowed him out and allowed him to communicate with others without insulting or offending their existence.

Unlike rin, sae is very independent, individualistic and very sure of himself so I personally think his situation in priceless is what occurs when he doesn't act assertively and set boundaries, so he and bianca happens. as long as he doesn't put his foot down and be firm with her, i don't think bianca will just stay put and watch her boy crush get taken away from her. unless she wises up, i feel like a bloodbath is bound to happen. thoughts and prayers for yn.

haha yes this is definitely my take on him like, around 8 years at least after where the current manga is at :) i thought he might grow a little with media training and whatnot since he’s not that young anymore (even if he’s already 19 in the current manga stage haha). but honestly even if he said fuck bianca … priceless would still be a little long because /spoilers can’t say/ hahah i will say, the end result does not hinge on bianca’s presence :’)

but you’re right in that he wasn’t assertive enough - i think he personally tried his best to talk it out with bianca (considering that he thinks of her as a friend and she’s outside of that “just sports” circle, if that makes sense) but yeah that would’ve gone a lot different if he was his current younger self at 18/19. probably would’ve chewed her out for trying to control who can talk to him :’) he put his foot down gently in that extra, but now that he actually has a reason, you can bet he won’t be as gentle. his reaction depends on bianca’s though so heh & yn … i’m not worried for my girl (cries sobbing throwing up) </3

I have one of my oc's holding a pretty big replica of a snowflake to match the multitude that Kai interacts with when playing in the snow with her parents & siblings, I had fun making this and at least getting it in before 2023 comes to a close so Happy New Year everyone. (This was for making a snowflake on the dA site)

When your doodle motivation hits rock bottom in the middle of a doodle that then ends up collecting dust for half a year. Probably to never get finished.

Happy New Year from Arietta and Xenia!! 🎉

A new year means new characters, so hopefully, I can share more about them with you all! I’ve only got a minuscule number of followers right now, and I’m betting that a majority of you came from my main blog. But y’know, think of yourselves as special because you get access to more information about certain characters that I don’t share about on my main blog: my fandom-related ones, of course (some of which may or may not be self-inserts *cough* *hack* *wheeze)!

This year, I was able to introduce to you my Disney FCs, Arietta (my “Beauty and the Beast” FC) and Xenia (my “Cinderella” FC)! I may or may not create more Disney characters, who knows. But here they are, dressed in fancy party dresses and celebrating the new year!

I realize now that Xenia kind of looks like a recolored Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” lmao but this game doesn’t have much in terms of color palettes

I used this game to make the characters (it very recently got updated to include more dress options) and edited everything together with Pixlr!

Where do I start??

For starters, out of these four, I'd say Trinity (Daughter of Tiana and Naveen) is the one who has her hair braided the most. To be fair, she's usually seen in a variety of different hairstyles from cornrows, to different sized and styled braids, a wash and go, twists, head wraps, etc.

Melody (my version of Ariel and Eric's daughter) and Arietta (Melody's younger sister) tend to braid their hair during the summer when they're at home. Every now and then, you'll find Melody flopping out of the school pool or the Enchanted Lake with micro braids. At swim meets, she tends to have her hair in cornrows. Arietta usually doesn't bother braiding her hair without her mother, but when she spots the hot new pirate student from the Isle always ogling his friend with the beautiful turquoise braids, she suddenly feels inspired.

As for Soleil (OC character for an original work of mine), she braids her occasionally.

SHIT, I forgot about Mariana (Daughter of Morgana, Water Under The Bridge verse), she's usually seen wearing her hair braided.
