They’re Here: Discussing The Wyatt Sick6 And How Taylor Rotunda Is Keeping His Brother’s Memory Alive

Hello Everyone! I wanted to write a special article and review the end of last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Think of this as a tribute to Bray Wyatt ( I’ll have an article about him on here in August.) In this article , I’ll be giving my thoughts on the Wyatt Sick6 and how Taylor Rotunda is carrying on his brother’s name.

The story of Uncle Howdy started when Howdy’s brother , the late Bray Wyatt, made his way back to WWE in 2022. However , Uncle Howdy kept haunting Bray when he returned to WWE at the Extreme Rules PLE in October 2022. Bo Dallas’ first appearance as Howdy would be alongside his brother when he was feuding with LA Knight. He was taken off WWE TV when Wyatt became ill. Nevertheless, Wyatt passed away unexpectedly in August 2023. Therefore, leaving Dallas with an unknown direction in WWE. WWE’s COO , Paul ‘ Triple H ’ Levesque , wanted to keep Wyatt’s legacy alive with a new documentary, Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal and bringing Uncle Howdy back to WWE with a new faction.

After Wrestlemania XL, QR codes appeared at live shows for Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown as well as appearing on TV for WWE fans at home. This was teasing the return of Uncle Howdy as it did the same for Bray Wyatt’s return to WWE in 2022. This would go on for months until June 17, 2024.

At the end of Monday Night RAW , we saw Jey Uso celebrating his big win to qualify for the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match at the PLE of the same name after defeating WWE Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio, The Judgement Day’s , Finn Balor , in a Triple Threat MITB Qualifying match. We see the lights go out and announcers, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee, become silent. The WWE Universe soon bring out the Fireflies as the lights went out. We see the door that Bray came through at Extreme Rules and the lantern. We also hear ‘ Shatter ’ , which was Bray’s music. Out came Nikki Cross who crawled through the door and soon stood up. She pointed to the Gorilla position and showed the camera man where to go. In the backstage area going to the Gorilla position , we find Erick Rowan , holding a hammer and beaten crew members and wrestlers. In the Gorilla position , we find Dexter Lumis sitting on top of what looks like a desk with beaten down crew members and what appears to be referees and other talent. Backstage , we find Joe Gacy ,who came from NXT, beaten down wrestlers with Chad Gable sitting up and beaten with blood on the side of his head. Soon, we find Uncle Howdy in the same area standing with his arms spread wide and walking towards the camera . He sees an injured Gable and then looks at Gacy, who follows him out to get Lumis and Rowan. They soon make their way to the entrance ramp to Cross. Howdy picks up the lantern in front of Cross and holds it up to the sound of fans cheering and Fireflies surrounding them. The camera man zooms in on the group. After this, the camera zooms out. Uncle Howdy screams out his Bray’s catchphrase, “ We’re here! ” and blows the lantern out. The segment ends with a small vignette of Nikki.

Taylor Rotunda stated in Bray’s documentary that his brother deserved to be honored with something big. He was going to carry on his brother’s legacy and wanted him to be remembered forever. To me , he just did that. I think that he is going to do Windham justice. I also think that all of them are going to.

My Final Review:

I thought the end of RAW last night was excellent. The way the Wyatt Sick6 was revealed is what I love to see in wrestling. This was phenomenal storytelling at its finest. Watching it, I felt like I was watching a horror movie and being brought into the movie thanks to that segment. They all looked like actual horror movie characters. What I’m saying is that they all looked well done! I also loved the little tribute to Luke Harper that Rowan had with the Bludgeon Brothers hammer and the extra mask. I also loved Howdy’s glove with Bray’s name on it and the hat with the circle on it. All I have to say is that wrestling scaring fans and giving shock value is back! I was very pleased with the reveal of the Wyatt6 and I felt so much emotion. I had chills in my spine and tears in my eyes. Bray was on my mind the entire time. Bray would have loved what his brother is doing . Taylor is keeping his promise. Bray, I know that you were smiling down on Taylor and I know that you would be proud of him. I know that you would be proud of Nikki , Dexter, Joe, and Erick as well. You will always be with us ! We love and miss you! I am so proud of Taylor and all of them.

Hello! first of all, I love your Bo Dallas stories, and I was wondering if you are still taking requests for him? If you are, could you write a story where the reader is in Chad Gable's team with The Creed Brothers, and the reader doesn't agree with Chad's decision to attack Bo so when Chad and The Creed Brothers attack Bo the reader is off in the corner trying to get them to stop and tries to defend Bo and right as the reader is about to turn on Chad the Wyatt Sicks come out which causes Chad and The Creed Brothers to run out of the ring but the reader stays, Bo notices this and causes them to form a secret alliance and when Chad and The Creed Brothers have their match against the Wyatt Sicks the reader is there to "Support" Chad and The Creed Brothers, and when Chad and The Creed Brothers try to leave during the match but end up stopping due to Uncle Howdy/Bo and Nikki Cross the reader smirks and waves at Howdy and throughout the match the reader does everything they can to help the Wyatt Sicks pick up the win and they start making their way to the Wyatt Sicks side of the ring and when the Wyatt Sicks win the reader is seen in the ring shaking hands with Howdy confirming their alliance. Khalise awoke to the soft morning light shining through the curtains. She stretched and lazily embraced the comfort of her bed, until she felt her lover’s body nestled against her back, sending a wave of excitement throughout her body.

The warmth of Chad’s skin on hers stirred a fire inside her heart. With a smile on her lips, she rolled to face him and opened her eyes, only to find his own gaze already burning into hers.

“Morning,” she greeted him with a smile, and he immediately returned her smile, flashing one of those rare, playful ones that always gave her butterflies.

“Good morning,” Chad murmured back as he gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face. His touch was like electric shocks jolting through her senses, sending her into a heavenly haze.

“What has put that look on your face?” He tilted his head at her, both curious and amused.

She suddenly felt shy as she found herself unable to meet his gaze. She didn’t usually get weak-kneed like this but his enthusiasm seemed to pierce through her and stir up some unknown emotion.

“I want you to be my first,” she blurted out finally, and it felt like she was releasing all the secrets she’d been keeping locked in her heart since the day they met.

He seemed to recognize the significance of those words – there was something else burning in his gaze now, something that matched the intense desire she felt for him.

“I want you to be my first, too.” He smiled, and with that, they sealed their unspoken, mutual longing into something unbreakable.

From then on, they’d experience life together, hand in hand, and Khalise was never happier. This was what she wanted – the two of them, together, forever.

Catching up on Raw 18/11/24

They're gonna have to work so hard and so fast to convince me that these War Games women's teams make sense. Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair? Candice LeRae and Tiffany Stratton? Nia Jax and Liv Morgan? Rhea Ripley and anyone???? What

Loved Rhea's return, though, very savage.

You know, I'm not sure I like mixed tag team matches. I know I like intergender wrestling, but mixed matches in WWE have to be polite back-and-forths because they can't risk the image of a man fighting a woman, and it's sort of unspontaneous and boring. Yes, I'm criticizing a type of pro wrestling by calling it unspontaneous. But it's about how it feels, not how it is, as always.

I liked the Bash in Berlin mixed tag team match because Rhea and Damian have off-the-charts chemistry, and I liked Zelina's offenses on Gable tonight, but...that was intergender. That was Zelina hitting Chad. So I still don't know if I really like WWE-style mixed matches.

That was a weird promo. Good on you, Miz.

My boy Damian was quietly writing at his desk like a good student and was jumped on. I love that he called Pearce (running into a violent scene in a corridor as usual) "boss", because nobody respects him like that.

The difference in color between Sheamus and Braun is funny at this point. They're like ⚪️🟠. Sheamus's hair is the color of Braun's skin. That's so much spray tan, honey. But their match is SO good.

Seth was like "let me give this very passionate and well-acted monologue about my principles and grab this big fur-lined coat that I need because I'm going to wrestle and I couldn't possibly go bare-chested and in leather pants only". Iconic.

I'm getting used to Joe Tessitore, he's cool. Still not a fan of Lilian Garcia's, though.

Oh please. We don't get even a little Rollins vs Reed before the Bloodline interference? Pfff. Oh okay the match is still happening, good. This is cementing my impression of Seth being a very resilient wrestler, it's great. And I love Bronson Reed so so much. I'm so glad they gave him a push.

Their chemistry is awesome. But a Seth/Punk feud would be incredibly different, I wonder if the chemistry would be as good in-ring (I'm not worried about promos at all with these two).

Oh my darling Solo is here, ripping off his disguise, tongue out, standing on the announce table! What a dear little goblin. He has the chaotic little shit energy to be on Raw.

I hadn’t been able to get out of the building fast enough. The second I finished my last patch up job for the night, I was shoving through the crowd and making a beeline for the door that led out of the arena, one goal in mind… To at least enjoy a little of the first snowfall of winter.

I stepped out the door and into the parking lot, stretching out my arms and throwing my head back. I didn’t care that the snow was falling heavier now and that it was cold, wet against my warm skin as it melted.

It felt so good. The world was coated in a powdery and shimmering coat of white and everything looked so damn pure. And at the moment, my tracks from the door to where I stood were the only tracks to disturb the good half inch of snow already gathered on the ground. I spun in a half circle, arms still stretched wide just taking it all in.

The snow, the chill in the air. The twinkling lights that circled a shrub nearby.

I laughed out loud at myself and took a deep breath, as if I could breathe in the scent of winter’s magic. As far as I knew, I had the lot to myself for the time being because everyone else was still inside, still filming the last hour of the show. I flopped down onto the sidewalk and leaned back against a brick half wall, staring up at the night sky.

The sound of the door being thrown open and then slammed shut, followed by nearly growled swears had me peeping around the corner of the little brick half wall I was mostly hidden behind. Chad Gable was sitting on the concrete walkway, right outside of the door, his head in his hands. I sighed to myself and shook my head because I knew things were rough for him.

It bothered me. A lot more than it should.

,, because you’ve got a monster crush on the guy, Sophie.” my brain taunted. And with that thought and my earlier conversation with Nikki and Alexa about finally acting on said crush, I stood and took a deep breath, gathering some snow in my hands, packing it lightly as a teasing and playful grin filled my face.

I crept up on him carefully, clearing my throat when I stood in front of him. Tapping my foot slightly. Chad looked up, giving me his best “i’m fine, this is fine” grin and I bit my lip, not bothering to hide the fact that I was staring at his mouth. Hard.

Shaking my head about it, I spoke up. “You gonna sit here and fume all night or..?”

“Or what, exactly?” Chad asked in a quiet tone. I sighed and took a deep breath. “I’m about to do this for yer own good, Gable. Somebody needs t’ cool y’ down.” 

I raised the hand I held my haphazardly rolled snowball in and I pitched it lazily, right at him. He wiped his face and I took off at a run, giggling, stopping about halfway across the lot to call out to him, “Well? You gonna sit there all night, Gable, or are you gonna do somethin about it?”

Chad eyed me a second or two, a brow raised. I tapped my foot impatiently against crunchy snow and called out to him again, “C’mon, Gable.. Afraid you’re goin t’ melt?”

He stood, chuckling quietly as he gathered some snow in his hands and I smiled to myself, darting away at a run. Attempting to get back behind my half wall cover. Instead, I tripped and slid, settling behind it. Chad was hot on my heels, so when I landed, he tripped over my foot and landed… Right on top of me.

I giggled out in a rush, “Ya know.. Normally, I require that the guy buy me drinks first.” as I moved my hand around a little, grabbing hold of some more snow. Chad seemed to have the same idea, feeling around beside him without breaking my gaze, smirking just a little. He grabbed a handful of snow and before I could try to curl into myself to protect myself from what was about to happen, his hand slipped just beneath the hem of my favorite long sleeve shirt and my breath caught in my throat.

The icy cold snow melted against my warm skin, rolling down my abdomen, making me squirm against him a little as I raised my hand and managed to place the handful of snow I’d gathered while lying trapped beneath him right down the back of the neck of his bright blue tee shirt. The laughter died on our mouths as soon as we locked eyes again and I gulped when I realized that yes, we were still laying in the snow, Chad was still on top of me and neither one of us had bothered to actually move.

But I couldn’t stop staring, see.. It started with those damn blue eyes.. Then it wound up with me, staring intently at his lips and licking my own. He cleared his throat and went to sit up, but before I could stop myself, I was grabbing hold of the front of his shirt, pulling him back down. He chuckled quietly, a brow raised. A few seconds passed, hot and heavy and dominating the air between us to a point where I couldn’t breathe and he muttered, “Sophie?”

“Yeah?”

“If you want to do something, do it.” he mumbled, smirking when instead of just going for it, I froze for a second or two. “I thought so.” he mumbled a second or two later. 

And something in me snapped.

“Do something, huh?” I mumbled as I raised my arms, wrapping them around his neck, my fingers toying with the hair at the nape of his neck as I pressed myself against him fully and slowly, inched my mouth against his, clumsily connecting with the corner. Chad groaned quietly and just as I went to pull my mouth away, his mouth connected with mine completely, his tongue dancing over the outline of my lips, parting them and tangling with my tongue as he deepened the kiss to a point where I almost couldn’t catch my breath and I wasn’t sure if we were breathing on our own or breathing for each other.

His lips strayed from mine when the kiss broke, dancing carefully down my throat and my fingers dug into his shoulder and scalp as I whimpered quietly and my breath caught in my throat all over again and when his eyes met mine, I bit my cheek and worked on trying to pull myself together. But it was too late, the fire was lit. I reached out and gripped his jaw, pulling his mouth back down and against mine all over again, a kiss so deep and needy that I could feel his lips starting to swell a little when it broke. He chuckled, a groan coming shortly after when I rubbed against him just a little.

And from above us, a throat cleared and Baron Corbin pretended to gag, right before dumping a bucket of snow down on both of us and smirking. “Thought you two could use the cool down.”

As Baron walked off, we sat up, Chad moving to sit behind me with his arms around me. I called out to Baron with a laugh, “Awww… Somebody mad because nobody wants to kiss his greasy ass?”

Baron flipped me off over his shoulder and I glared, rolling my eyes before turning my attention back to Chad. “So...you were saying? About me, doing what I want?”

“You wanted to kiss me…”

“I mean, that’s not even half of what I wanna do, but it’s a start. C’mon, Chad. My ass is frozen and I’m pretty sure I smelled cocoa down in the catering area.” I hopped up and held out my hand. Chad took hold of it, letting me think I’d pulled him up out of the snow and he chuckled quietly, staring at me and shaking his head, almost as if he were more than a little shocked.

He should honestly try being me right now, because never… Not in a million years.. Did I once think I’d actually go for it.

12 Days Of Christmas, A Masterlist.

Pretty sure that you’ve all figured out that I’m going to be taking part in the 12 Days of Christmas event that the lovely and amazing @champbucks​ is doing this year. If you didn’t know already, well hehe.. surprise?!? This is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this? And I really had a blast. Going For The Gold : Wrestlers In The Olympic Games

The 2024 Summer Olympic Games start this upcoming Friday and I’m excited! So, I decided to write a fun article about some of our favorite wrestlers who competed in the Olympics. Also, you might be surprised about a few of the wrestlers mentioned here.

The Iron Sheik- Represented the country of Iran in the sport of Greco-Roman Style Wrestling in the 1968 Summer Olympic Ganes which took place in Mexico City. He do not medal. In 1972 , he was named as the assistant coach of the USA Wrestling Olympic Team for the Summer Games in Munich. Sheik retired in 2010 and passed away in 2023. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

Bad News Brown - Represented the United States in the sport of Judo at the 1976 Olympic Summer Games in Montreal. He became the first African American to medal in a sport that wasn’t either Boxing or Track & Field. He was a Bronze Medalist. Brown retired from wrestling in 1999 and passed away in 2007.

Mark Henry - Represented the United States in the sport of Weightlifting at the 1992 Summer Games in Barcelona and the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta. He did not medal. He finished 10th in the Super Heavyweight Division in the 1992 Games. Thus , he finished 14th due an injury after his first Clean And Jerk attempt in the 1996 Games. Mark Henry had a successful career in WWE and a stint in All Elite Wrestling. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.

Kurt Angle - Represented the United States in the sport of Freestyle Wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta. He became a Hold Medalist after winning with a broken neck. Angle also made history by becoming the first Olympic Gold Medalist in Pro Wrestling History. Angle had a successful wrestling career in WWE and TNA. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.

Ronda Rousey- Represented the United States in the sport of Judo at the 2008 Summer Games in Bejing. Rousey made history by becoming the first American woman to medal in Judo. She is a Bronze Medalist in the sport. She had a MMA career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and a wrestling career in WWE.

Anthony Ogogo- Represented Great Britain in the sport of Boxing at the 2012 Summer Games in London. He was one of the first English Boxers to debut in the Olympic Games. He is an Olympic Bronze Medalist in Boxing for the Middleweight class. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling.

Chad Gable- Represented the United States in the sport of Greco-Roman Wrestling at the 2012 Summer Games in London. He qualified for the games in the 185 pound class. However , he did not medal in the competition. He was defeated and eliminated. Gable is currently signed to WWE and his on Monday Night RAW

Bonus :

Kerry Von Erich - Kerry was a Track & Field Athlete in high school in the sport of Discus. He even broke his own father’s record for the sport. However, Von Erich was training and going to compete in the 1980 Summer Games in Moscow, but couldn’t due to President Jimmy Carter asking athletes to boycott the Games in protest of The Soviet Union invading Afghanistan . Nevertheless, his signature move next to The Iron Claw would be the Spinning Discus Punch. He would use this during his WWE run.

My Final Thoughts:

Writing this article amazed me because I didn’t even know a few of these things. I am a huge Von Erich fan and I didn’t even know that about Kerry. I’ve enjoyed watching the Olympic Games as a kid and I still do. What is your favorite Olympic sport?

For over a year, me and Chad had been friends, with added bonuses. It had been working great for so long, but I didn't want to be just an arrangement for him any longer.

I was meant to be going to his hotel room now to meet him, but I was going to tell him, I didn't want to be just friends anymore.

I went to his room, and knocked with a sigh.

He answered the door, with a smile. "Hey Y/N, come in."

I walked in, and let him shut the door behind me.

He came to kiss me, but I stopped him, stepping back.

"Chad, I need to talk to you."

"What's up?"

Hell In A Cell PPV Review

I was going to write this last night but I was far too pissed about the ending of the Rollins v Fiend match to do so.

Pre-show:

Lacy Evans v Natalia : This is the 8th time these two have met and yet tonight on Raw they will meet yet again in a Last Woman Standing match. Evans gets better each match but is still green. The match was ok. Overall Grade: C -

Main Show:

Lynch v Banks in a HIAC: This was the best match by far in the entire PPV hands down. Both women tried new things that have no been seen before, the chair being held up by kendo sticks was a new one. The creative spots were awesome and rather enjoyable. I disagree with the ending of having Lynch beat Banks though. Why bring Sasha back if you going to have her lose twice to Lynch, where does she go from here. Overall grade A- 

Roman/Bryan v Harper/Rowan: A good old fashioned Tornado Tag match that had a lot of action in and out of the ring. The good guys won in an enjoyable match. Overall Grade: B+

Ali v Orton: A typical Orton match. The move Ali made to get out of the RKO was amazing and something I have never seen before. Ali put up a good fight but once again Orton wins. Overall Grade: C+

Bliss/Cross v Kabuki Warriors: This is for the womens tag titles which the WWE seem to forget they have. Good match, Kari Sane’s high stepping finger poke on Cross cracked me up to no end but it seems the Kabuki warriors have turned heel..for no reason that anyone knows. The Green Mist spot by Askua was amazing and a throwback to Tajiri. I popped for that I have to say. A decent match. Overall Grade B -

Chad Gable v King Corbin: Decent match, Gable was on tonight and won with the most amazing devastating finisher in the WWE today...the roll up pin. Overall Grade C -

The OC and AJ Styles v Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman: A bunch of big beefy guys beating on each other but this was more of a Raw quality match. Not sure why suddenly the ref called for the DQ when minutes earlier the Viking Raiders and Strowman were beating up AJ I think 3 on 1. The best part was after them match when AJ went for the phenomenal forearm and got punched by Strowman knocking him out. His selling of being totally out of it was pure gold and had me laughing. Overall Grade: C

Bayley v Charlotte: Not surprised that Charlotte won, Fox will want her as champ and it happened. Match was lackluster when I know these two can put on a damn good match. Did a disservice to these women. Overall Grade C +

 Rollins v The Fiend: Where the fuck do I start here. The red lighting was horrible and I can’t imagine what it was like for those in the audience. Rollins finisher means nothing now as he kept using the stomp time again and the Fiend kicking out. Rollins when all Home Depot on the Fiend beating the hell out of him but then went from a sledgehammer...you know Triple H’s weapon of choice. The ref pleaded for him not to use it and when he did called for the bell. It ended in a NO FUCKING CONTEST. This is HELL IN A CELL FFS. The ending was horrible, crowd chanting “bullshit,” “AEW,” “refund” and “restart the match.” This finish killed Rollins as people are going to hate him more and the Fiend looks weak now. Overall Grade D +

The women carried the PPV with good to great matches but this is my final straw with WWE. I will go back to New Japan Pro Wrestling where booking makes sense and there are actually stories that play out. My sub to the network is cancelled.

Honestly, he’ll say he loves every single part of you, but his favorite is quite obviously your legs. There’s just something that feels so fucking amazing about the way they wrap perfectly around his waist, whether he’s carrying you on his back, or holding you during a steamy little shower fun time.

As far as his own body goes? He absolutely loves the fact that his arms and legs are strong enough that he can pick you up and hold you the way he does, because it makes him feel like a god or something, idek. Nope, not even readmore-ing it

Welp.  I don't know what I was expecting.

I mean.  I do know what I was expecting: what I paid for, what was promised in plain writing on every scrap of information released, what I had to check and double check and triple check because there was ZERO info anywhere on the ticketmaster pages for the individual time slots RE who was in which, so I had to concentrate to make sure I picked the right one. 

Why I thought that any of those things meant shit to WWE is beyond me, because by now I should know better.

We took the 11:10 train, which got us into Union around 12:53.  Shinsuke (and everyone in his group) was advertised for 1pm-5pm.  So after a little bit of memory jogging we found the right way to the convention centre, which was fortunately a place we'd been before off the only part of Toronto (or possibly the world) outside my own house that I'm capable of navigating (union station).  We were making all speed for Shinsuke's line across the convention hall no later than 1:25. Of course, the first thing the staff lady at the end of the line said was “We'll be swapping talent out at 3, so unfortunately we can't guarantee you'll get to meet this one.”

And like.

At that point I just knew, you know?   I'm not great at estimating #'s of people but there must have been maybe a hundred in front of us with a little over an hour and a half to go rather than the promised 3 1/2.  People still joined the line after us, even with the warning; there were probably at least 40 in line behind us, including little kids.  One boy was w/ his mum and hopefully clutching his glossy picture of Shinsuke; I watched his lil face go from Really Excited to a state of sort of crushed, anxious horror as the polite staffer apologetically delivered the news. Standing there, occasionally able to watch Shinsuke through the gaps in bodies and heads, I speed-ran the stages of grief all at once and in the span of about half a minute.  There was...no way in hell.  The girl who got in line behind us was much more optimistic, but I've been living my life a long time.

‘Please,’ I thought helplessly, ‘Just let me get up close enough to catch the front staffer's attention and then at least I can pass along the magnet I brought for his collection.’ Like that was the minuscule, sad little prayer I was capable of when I should have been buzzing with excitement.  Let me give it to someone else and maybe with any luck they'll pass it along to him.

We stood in line the entire time.  I hadn't had a drop of liquid since breakfast (empty bottles!  You couldn't even bring in empty bottles to fill with water inside) and my back hurt so badly by ~time's up~ that once or twice I thought I was actually going to pass out; normally in that situation I sit down before I have a chance to faint, but occasionally, when people were in the right arrangement, I could see him.  Just see him.  If I'd sat down I wouldn't  have been able to.  ‘I'll stand til he's gone, and then I'll have a chance to collapse on the cement floor and never move again,’ I thought. There probably would have been more heartbreaking positions to end up in than where we did, finally right against the last divider barricade, no further impediments to seeing him.  The one who would have been next, that would have been tough not to take personally.  Or a couple of people back.   Two people ahead of me there was a guy with his haircut, only dyed purple and teal; peeking out of his regulation clear plastic bag was a replica of the IWGP Intercontinental title.  He must have had a rough day. Homeboy in the wheelchair looked so happy to be one of the last ones up.  A baby in a stroller was going to be rolled aside while his dad got the photo but Shinsuke said no no, and waved them back; he laid his title over the kiddo's lap and leaned down to pull a face for the picture.  Kiddo didn't even seem to know where the fuck he was, but it was sweet and so Shinsuke that even the ppl who knew damned well they weren’t going to make it were laughing. Purple-hair lady we'd chatted with a little when we met at the centre of the parallel, winding lines made it up.  Maybe the third to last guy walked away with his arms raised in triumph and was so overcome he forgot the photo they'd taken, had to scurry back. 

I was...maybe ten people, maybe fifteen back from the front when they called time.  Dead centre of the front row, right behind the photographer.  As it turns out a comparatively enviable position.  One staffer brought out a black velvet bag for him to put the title back in (which he seemed a little confused by, I guess he's both not used to having one here and like...he'd always carry it himself and keep it with him in NJPW).  It was enough of a delay. 

I don't even know whether the woman I spoke to was a WWE employee or the photographer's assistant, or neither, but I hope the rest of her life goes exactly how she wants it until she’s called home to join the other angels.  I musn't have been talking loudly or clearly enough at first but she took my meaning, probably because I was holding out the magnet in it's little purple gauzy drawstring bag.  I thought she'd just ferry it over, that was absolutely my expectation, but once Shinsuke was finished wrangling the title into its own drawstring bag she flagged him down instead.

Probably no other person in the world could have made things Suddenly Ok, but Shinsuke came over to say a brief hello and graciously accept the silly-ass magnet I brought him, and smile at me and shake my hand before they ushered him away.  It was more than any of my poor fellow disappointed line people got, and it takes the edge off a considerable amount of the absolute despair that would have reigned otherwise. 

Though...less of the absolute fucking fury at the bunch of cold-blooded con artists he works for.  The poor.  Fucking kids.  Left in that line.  The poor kids!  How could their parents have known that ‘Signing from 1-5′ doesn't mean what any rational fucking person would take it to mean, but ‘Show up exactly at or maybe a half hour before 1 and be grateful for an overrun of nine whole minutes when we arbitrarily change the rules and replace him with Chad fucking Gable like all the wrestlers are interchangeable mass-produced knickknacks.’

The first person who went up, I looked between them and had no idea which one was even the wrestler - I wouldn't know Chad Gable if I tripped over him in the street.  We just got out of line. 

I hope to fucking god that they treated the people who paid for the WILDLY overpriced higher tier tickets more fairly and honestly than they did the general admission people but like, tbh it wouldn't surprise me if they'd bait and switch ppl at $500+ as readily as at $50.  It would surprise me more if they didn't, to be blunt.

That building is gods-damned huge and they were only using one room.  Literally every other convention in the world, people sign as long as they're advertised to sign and if they need breaks THEY TAKE BREAKS, a back in 20 sign appears and the world doesn't end.  The Usos were even meant to be in the group but weren't bc of like.  All the DUI, they wouldn't let them in the country, so...there were less people than were meant to be, even.  And still, still they find a way to send people away disappointed, man, woman and child.

On the way in we spotted the Feedback tables, laden with clipboards.  After a completely fruitless look at the shop (no more of the Shinsuke figure I wanted, of course, just the Bret Harts released at the same time), we just left to go eat because at that point I was legitimately about to pass out from the sustained pain & inadequate hydration.  “Oh, they're gonna get some fucking feedback, all right,” I muttered.   I didn't swear.  Too much.  I think I mentioned Shinsuke about seventeen times, and I absolutely called them demons (underlined), and I signed off with NEVER AGAIN.  DO YOU HEAR ME?  NEVER AGAIN.  But I didn’t swear.  Til the end, where they requested my email to keep me up to date with all the latest lies.  “Oh, go to hell.”
