Just gonna come here to say how pleasantly surprised I am that people loved The Last Guardian piece, my people are still alive heck yeah 🙌🏽🙌🏽

I'll try not to say too much spoilers–I had an Au were Trico's still flourished, like a lot of them even after what happened at the end of the game–I mean if our Trico survived allat taking the boy back to the Nest, why shouldn't the others 🤔

And that Trico had a lil Piebald baby and there's this floppy eared Trico character based on this one glitch lol

“The Last Guardian” is like playing through an ancient poem. ☆

Trico, the majestic beast, is captivating. Despite playing as such a small character, I was always concerned and tried to care for him in some way. The experience was overwhelming and thrilling at the same time. It brought me to tears… at times, I pressed the buttons on my controller in desperation, because that was all I could do.

As an instant fan, I searched for themed items to buy but couldn’t find much, so I decided to express my love through drawing instead…

So here is it 🥰 My new favorite thing in life. ♡

Art Fight 2024 (1/2)

I think this year was my most productive art fight by far! I got to draw so many cool and interesting characters, figured out how to use 3D models in Clip Studio Paint, I even got to experiment a bit outside my comfort zone. Not to mention, I got to make my first mass attack with 15 different characters! This year was an absolute blast to participate in, especially after having such a big art burnout in the months prior. It got me excited to make art again! (Though now I gotta rest my hands for a bit- I may have gotten a little too feral with making so many ^^;) Anyway. Putting the links to each character's Art Fight page under the Read More, that way everyone can see these cool characters! (And maybe bookmark them for next year's art fight hehe)

She used to be my everything. Y’all don’t understand how much I love this game.

My biggest flex is that this game has never been hard for me. Yeah the camera sucks and the controls are wonky, but I’ve always been able to get through it just fine. Plus Trico has never been hard to control in my eyes? Like… give her a command and wait. Don’t spam, just give her a second. She literally works like an actual animal but so many people spam her with commands then get surprised when the AI stops working. It’s your fault, not Trico’s 😩

Maybe I’ll draw Mama Trico with her cubs?

What other things do you like apart from Rain World and Slay the Princess?

Hmm. I've jumped around a lot! I usually like cartoons and video games. I'll go over the ones that are still in the back of my mind!

Minecraft Story Mode (might make the characters into scugs)

The last guardian (I want to play is so badddd ill draw trico soon)

Stray (absolutely beautiful scenery and game play)

Red dead redemption two (I could gush about the gameplay and story presentation for a long time)

The Owl house (need to do a re-watch love the art and story- i did a psychology presentation on Gus)

Rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles(re-watch very soon love art and comedy best April imo also fuck yeah insane casey)

Wings of fire (my moots are drawing me back into it. Might reread arc 3)

Inscryption (playing through it rn, could gush about it a lot)

That's all the flies buzzing about my head rn! I've been in so many other fandoms but these are the ones I'm invested in!

Trico 2023 (traditional) vs Trico 2019 (digital)

Last year in my art class I decided to draw Trico for one of my projects, and it reminded me of one of my first digital drawings. And, can I just say, the improvement is amazing. I'm so proud of how much I've improved over the 4 years, and I hope to continue improving in the years to come!

Tricuno kipo si concepts above ft. kipo recolors based off me learning the purple-pink tint was going to be more subtle originally, traces of trico himself & traces of a couple timbercats.

Okay so the original idea for half-tricuno si was that some random surface humans found trico dna & were like "lol what would happen if we injected it into this baby lol" & then it turned out that the dna had smth to do with the boy & trico, like the original them way before kipo's time or before the mutant-ing, and si was some sort of reincarnation/representation of their friendship, and that friendship was her anchor. And then i thought about a colony/society of tricuno mutes who're descended from the original boy & trico's village, & they're all part mutes who can transform like the part megamutes can, and whenever a megamute comes along they train them in the ways of an anchor; the default anchor is the friendship of trico & the boy. So kipo si doesn't usually wear as much clothes bc they're so in tune with their mute halves, using feathers & tough skin to protect against mild elements?

potential flaws for the tricuno & human symbiotic colony(cw forced loss of identity/memories discussed in the last one): -too much pressure on mega mutes or chosen-one-descended teens once they come of age, encanto-style? -due to living in close symbiotic relationships w tricuno for years, and being part or all mutes, the tlg(guardian clan??) colony has developed their own animalistic language, all chuffs and purrs and whines and trills and whistles and--basically it's near impossible for them to communicate w other mutes, let alone humans -could steal the plot of ico & have offspring w certain traits be cast out to the mercy of the rest of the surface world -everyone who joins the colony is mutated if they're human? All r given anchors, but keeping sapience/identity/memories is not guaranteed. -the more humanoid a tricuno mutnt, the more frail they're treated/less agency they're given, a little like old fashioned sexism
