Companions favorite Disney movie?
A/N: Howdy, howdy, folks! I know it's been a while, but I hope y'all enjoy these! πŸ₯°πŸ’™πŸ’› I've been extremely busy and have sort of lost motivation for this fandom, but I'm going to try to play Fo4 soon and see if I can muster up some more motivation 😊 I still have some fanfic to write and some reactions to do and I've got to get my butt in gear!
Cait - Brave. It might seem like the obvious choice because, well... ginger twinsies.... But she loves it because of the constant action and the fact that Merida wields a sword and a bow while also riding a horse often at the same time. She also secretly sort of finds herself vicariously living through Merida and wishing she would have had a family like hers with parents that actually loved her.
Curie - Inside Out. It's sciency and presents a fun, creative way of examining the brain's functions. She would prefer that Disney be more realistic, but despite her slight disappointment, she also understands that it has to be presented in a child-friendly way that would keep a kid's attention. A close second for her would be Big Hero 6. Honey Lemon is her hero.
Piper - Zootopia. She finds herself very much relating to Judy Hopps most days. Just a girl in a big city and a big world with the chips stacked against her and hardly anyone on her side as she fights the good fight. She also enjoys Judy's optimistic, sarcastic, energetic spirit that she upkeeps in the face of adversity. It's something that Piper herself has done her best to maintain.
MacCready - Finding Nemo. As a concerned dad with a struggling young son of his own, he can relate to this movie greatly. Plus, a bonus is that he likes to mess with F!Sole about being Dory, which she never seems to appreciate nearly as much as he does most days.
Deacon - The Emperor's New Groove. All of the jokes and the lightheartedness of the overall movie is totally Deacon's style. He always quotes the movie afterward and drives everyone at HQ crazy with his rather awful impression of Yzma.
Codsworth - Flubber. He sort of is crushing on Weebo the robot assistant. Granted, he says he has no sort of manner in which to facilitate such feelings since he is not programmed to feel things like that, but he raves over her enough that everyone can see he clearly has some manner of feelings.
Hancock - A Bug's Life. He doesn't really know why, but it cracks him up every time he turns it on. Of course, he's usually high when he's watched it, but that's not the important part. The important thing is that it's anti-grasshoppers and after the stuff he saw at Nuka-World, that suits him just fine.
Danse - Toy Story. He would rather die than admit it, but he likes the movie for the odd reason that he heavily relates to the spaceman. His perspective on life and his soldier-like dedication to his mission is truly outstanding. He also strangely relates to him in many ways, but he's not quite sure why.
Preston - Brother Bear. He enjoys the deep feelings and meaning behind the film. It's such an underrated yet good film and it has a really great sound track as well. He also has a strange affinity for Toy Story because of Woody and his steady dependability.
Valentine - Old Yeller. It's traditional and it has that sense of old-timey living that Nick can appreciate. He also enjoys the deep emotional quality of the film and the fact that it's about a good, loyal, brave dog. Kind of like Dogmeat.
X6-88 - Maleficent. He enjoys her sense of humor and her sense of taking care of business and revenge when people do her wrong. However, his favorite non-Disney movie is The Matrix. He firmly believes the coursers' design is based on Morpheus and he secretly thinks he looks like him most out of the courser models.
Dogmeat - The Fox and the Hound. He loves nothing more than to howl along with the dog on there. Finally a movie that actually has a character that speaks his language! The dog also actually successfully befriends other animals in a way that Dogmeat never seems to do too well since they're always trying to stomp on him or kill him. He also is a fan of Bolt.
Strong - Monster's Inc. Firstly, Strong doesn't like movies. They're confusing and make no sense because what do you mean those things are not really there? They're standing right in front of him! But he likes Monster's Inc more than most because Mike Wazowski looks like a super-mutant. An ugly, one-eyed freak super-mutant, but nevertheless one of his kind.

i Need to hear more abt vince and mac omgggg πŸ₯ΊπŸ‘€
Ahhh tysm i havent written anything abt them in YEARS
Vincent and Mac (mac n cheese, rj, robert if serious πŸ‘πŸ‘), started traveling together really early-iirc, FO4 starts in late october, so think around november of the same year. Someone mentions that Maccready is a decent merc, and Vince needs help, so with enough caps, Vince has a friend!
It takes a full year for them to start discussing an actual relationship, but these two are pretty much inseparable early on, as they spend a lot of time bonding over the fact they both have dead spouses (rip lance and lucy), and their family is dead or nonexistent.
Mac also being one of the few companions that also actively dislikes everyone except the Minutemen (he likes the fucking raiders more than the bos πŸ˜πŸ˜‚), they get along and grow as friends mostly via building homes in settlements. If there's someone in need, theyre there to help. Which lead to their first failure, at Saugus Ironworks. Being that they're both snipers, Vince usually takes front line with a melee weapon or a lazer rifle. They had a fight and Vince stormed off alone, and while he took the majority of the raiders down, Maccready needed the farmers son to help with the boss of the Ironworks, and carried an injured (and blinded) Vincent to Goodneighbor, where he recieved his synth eyes!
Idk what else πŸ€” both are pretty clingy towards each other, if you catch sight of one, the other is nearby. They can be frequently found around Sanctuary, but also make frequent visits to Far Harbor to check on the area, and Nuka World, primarily after they lead the Minutemen to wipe out the raiders. I also hc they like to try to breed the aggressiveness out of Deathclaws, as there's been several sentient and non hostile ones throughout the series, and I hc Sanctuary has several! :D
In game, Vince goes the peaceful Minutemen ending (RR & BOS alive), but canonwise, my LW from Fo3 executes Maxson and leaves the brotherhood in disarray so πŸ₯°

πŸ’• self-love time! talk about which ones of YOUR creations (edits, artworks, fanfics) you like the most then send to other creators to do the same πŸ’•
My Fic, I love that I'm writing again πŸ₯°
I have some scenes in MacBeth lined up that I'm super excited to share (if I ever make my mind up on which direction I'm taking the thing in 😜)
Oh and I absolutely adore writing sassy Mac (some Mayor MacCready flair thrown in) The bickering with Dogmeat gives me so much joy to write (all inspired by my man and his own bickerings with our dog and cat πŸ˜‚)
The header for MacBeth makes me so happy 😍

These screens make me weak πŸ™ŒπŸ»
They were from an early playthrough after id first finished Mac's affinity quest. They're some of the first screenshots I did.
They just make me smile every time I see them πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯° (yes he does carry the baby around, and yes it is as adorable as it sounds!)

Words cannot describe the dopamine hit I get every time I play this video.
It turned out better than expected πŸ˜‚

You know I'm curious how you would write the companions reacting to a glitch that happened to me once in a playthrough. I was fighting a legendary ghoul and using brass knuckles when I ended up punching it in the head so hard that the head came clean off but at the same time it mutated and restored all its health. Which meant i ended up having a headless and armless (I had taken off the arms earlier in the fight) ghoul fighting me. I remember all I could think was "did I just hit this thing so hard that it can't even tell that it is supposed to be dead?"
My gosh, this is insane πŸ˜‚ The glitches on this game get crazier and crazier. Also, btw, new fear unlocked because ever since you sent this in, I've been watching those legendary ferals with a bombastic side-eye πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
Thank you so much for the request!!! πŸ₯°
Cait - Would start frantically blowing holes into it as she blindly shoots. She would not even really worry about accuracy, just hoping that she's stopping it because this thing is seriously freaking her out at this point.
Piper - Would instantly start running as soon as she ensured that her Blue was getting out with her. Ferals and Mirelurks are her two weaknesses and a headless, armless turd in the wind ghoul is not something she's sticking around for.
Curie - Would probably scream. But as soon as it dies, she'd be examining it carefully, trying to decipher how exactly that this happened and devising some sort of scientific explanation.
MacCready - Would screech like a little girl and shoot with you until it was dead. Once it's all over, he would definitely deny it being a screech. More like a manly expression of slight uneasiness.
Deacon - Would be ready to just pop a stealth boy and bug out. He might sit this one out because this is weird even for him, so good luck.
Codsworth - Would be rather shocked, but he would stick with her regardless of the frightening sight, going after it. He is not losing the last remaining bit of his family.
Hancock - Would start laughing like a maniac. For some reason, this is hilarious to him, and while he's not sure if he's hallucinating it or not, it's still hilarious because it is such a bizarre sight.
Danse - Would quickly put on his power armor helmet to shield himself more fully as he does his best to keep from looking as scared as he feels at the sight of it. He would be embarrassed at the fact that he is afraid of a headless, armless ghoul when he has taken on things like Deathclaws before.
Preston - Would do his best to remain calm despite the terrifying sight, and he would try to maintain some distance from it. He would say it was to get better shots on the creature, but the truth is that he just would not want to be close to the thing.
Valentine - Would be surprised but would not react too badly. He would handle it rationally and go on shooting at it like he would normally, just not quite in the same spots as he would try to aim for normally.
X6-88 - Would be thankful for the fact that it could not really attack in its customary manner of bites and angry swings of its arms. He would take advantage of its removed defense system and he would make short work of the entire thing, aiming for the legs.
Dogmeat - Would not be bothered by the lack of a head and arms, and he would attack it just the same, going for the legs since those are definitely still intact.
Strong - Would be confused but would not dwell on it for too long. He would probably just go after its neck stump and smack the feral with his super sledge like it was a piΓ±ata.

Hi! I hope you're doing well! If you have the chance, could I please request the companion's reactions to Sole giving them a weapon they made themselves? Like, made completely from scratch customized new weapon. Thank you, I love reading your works and seeing your posts is always a highlight of my day!
Hi! I’m doing pretty good. A little stressed, but things are pretty good. I hope everything is good with you! 😊 And thank you so, so much!!! πŸ₯Ί Your kind words mean the world to me, and I am so happy to hear that you enjoy my posts πŸ₯°
Thank you for the request, and I hope you enjoy! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™πŸ’›
Cait - Is honestly sort of overcome with emotion when she is offered the pretty mahogany baseball bat coated in spikes and wrapped with barbed wire and razor wire. It even has a easily malleable foam for extra comfort for her hands. She blinks hard for a few seconds, completely unable to remember any time in her life that someone gave her an actual gift before F!Sole came along, and she tells the woman before her thank you before very hesitantly hugging her quickly.
Piper - Is filled with affection and honestly feels her jaw slackening as she receives the ten millimeter pistol with a large quick eject magazine, a sharpshooter's grip, and a compensator. She is even more thrilled when she sees that "Truthbringer" is written along the side of it in fancy cursive with golden swirly accents on the weapon. Piper bites her lip before quickly launching herself onto her Blue, hugging her tightly and thanking her quietly.
Curie - Is not one for weapons, but she is strangely thrilled when F!Sole gives her a long-barreled, recoil-compensated syringer rifle with a long recon scope. She is mostly pleased because she can help F!Sole take down enemies without actually having to kill them herself. She also is really excited to create concoctions to put in the rifle. She very excitedly hops in place in the midst of her excitement before hugging F!Sole tightly with a giant smile, expressing her gratitude with pure happiness.
MacCready - Is more excited than anything to receive a lever-action rifle with an advanced receiver, a long ported barrel, marksman's stock, and a long night vision scope. He is almost bouncing with his excitement as he looks the thing over with pure enthrallment in his eyes. He thanks her before eagerly suggesting that they go try it out.
Deacon - Is extremely thrilled to get a sniper rifle with an operating suppressor on it. Silent takedowns are his favorite and now that she has made it possible to be even more stealthy, he is very, very excited. He makes sure to tell her how much he appreciates it, and he playfully asks her if this is a sign and she has something violent planned for today.
Codsworth - Is absolutely thrilled when she works on him and gives him an improved flamethrower. The flames are now even greater in magnitude but they are very controlled as well. Therefore, he has a lot more range and can deal a lot more damage. If he were human, he would definitely be smiling from ear to ear as he happily thanks his mistress and takes her hand gently in a pincer.
Hancock - Is somehow bordering on emotional when he receives a beautifully crafted combat knife. It is gorgeously engraved with "For the People" written on the blade in beautiful cursive and the handle a beautiful deep stained wood. He quickly gets a hold of himself to thank her and he offers her a tight hug, wondering what he did to get so lucky as to have a best friend like this.
Danse - Is practically drooling at the mere sight of the Gatling laser that she has souped up for him that has a photon agitator, a boosted gamma wave emitter, charging barrels, and a beam focuser. He is overcome with emotion not just because of the beauty of the gun, but also the kindness, love, and hard work behind the gift. He softly yet very heartfeltly expresses his thanks, feeling his heart swell just from looking at her after the receiving of such a wonderful gift.
Preston - Is very quickly turning to pure mush as he takes in the upgraded laser musket that has a six crank capacitor, an extended long barrel, full stock, and glow sights. He gets a little choked up and he is honestly trying to hold it together. When he finds his voice, he tells her thank you, and hesitantly offers his general a one-armed hug, not wanting to overstep her boundaries.
Valentine - Is quite taken aback but really pleased to get a .44 pistol with an advanced receiver, a bull barrel, and a comfort grip. He feels a smile and a swell in his chest as he notices that it is exceedingly well-polished and shiny as can be, the entire thing practically glowing with the effort that F!Sole obviously put into it. He looks up at her after a long moment, knowing that if he were not a synth, tears would be in his eyes. He very heartfeltly tells her thank you and says how much it means to him before carefully reaching out and squeezing her shoulder.
X6-88 - Is extremely shocked and feels the strangest emotion within himself as he examines the Institute Laser Rifle with a gamma wave emitter, overcharged capacitor, long barrel, full stock, and a long recon scope. However, he feels extremely odd to see that she has removed the Institute paint from it (assuming one didn't go with the Institute ending) and she has instead made it a dark black with electric blue accents. He actually feels something akin to extreme happiness and fondness toward F!Sole, and it sort of scares him. After he thanks her properly, he escapes for some time to himself so he can try to get ahold of his emotions.
Strong - Is very happy to receive a bright red super-sledge with a stun pack equipped. He loves the color and he loves the extra danger added to the weapon, and he is very grateful indeed in his own way. Of course, his gratitude mostly consists of telling tiny human that she is good leader and that they should go kill something now.
