OC Posting #5 - Orion!! (Reference)

As promised in my last boy best friend reblog, I bring a new OC!!!! I was forced to complete yet another trio and I brought a chronically tired, yet again disabled character in classic "I can make them worse" fashion sorry gang (I'm not sorry 🥰🥰)

Most of his lore is written on his page on my Toyhouse, CaramelizedCat, but I'll summarize some stuff here.

Orion is 16, goes by he/they pronouns, and is best friends with his cousin Nova (owned by @/z0mb1eloz3r) and a chaos gremlin named Angie (owned by Emmie)!! When he was 10, a murder drone broke in and fired a missile that nearly killed him and his mom, but both survived (I chose to be nice and leave his parents alive for once). His mom is paralyzed from the waist down, though.

Aside from the scarring and replacement arm (that isn't gay Finley he just wanted to make it look pretty!!!!!/j), he's also deaf on his left side, and sustained core damage that leaves him constantly tired and struggling with a lot of physical activity. He does have PTSD from the attack, as well.

In conclusion I love him a lot and hopefully won't forget about him like I did my MD sona thank you for coming to my TEDtalk/j

TMNT: Found Family is a teetle iteration based off of my friends!! I only have the turtles drawn out (and April planned in my head) but!!! I do have some of the basics:

Donnie (He/Her): He's based off of Tomi!! She's 14, the youngest of the four bros. Typically quiet around people (unless she freaks the fuck out) but he yaps A LOT when she's either alone or with her siblings. A lot of people mistake him as a very meek and mild individual, but in reality he's a violent BEAST filled with rage. The #1 hater ever. But overall she's very silly and critter-like...

Leo (He/him): The second youngest, based off of me! I would've made myself Donnie but. Then I'd just be drawing my sona SO... yeah... I decided to go with Leo because the person I relate to the most (after MM Don, ofc) is Rise Leo. For. Various reasons. But yeah. He's a 16 year old shithead who looooves playing pranks and being a smartass. He's academically smart but SUPER dense (a lot of shit goes over his head..), but also somehow extremely cunning and witty. Despite being a ball of unhinged chaos, he still ends up caring for his siblings like a dad because he's also an Anxious Idiot. Oh also he has a severe case of RBF syndrome

Mikey (He/him): I based him off of Val, he's 17 years old and the second oldest. Gay as fuck, I haven't shown his design yet but he's. Literally a walking rainbow (and I mean LITERALLY... wait until you see his scale patterning). Like Leo, he's a little shithead who teams up with the blue boy to prank everyone within a five mile radius. He's also somehow even more insufferable than Leo. Raph (She/They): The oldest of them all, being 18 years old!! She's based off of my beloved nee-chan Phantom. The (appointed) leader of the group, she has a major case of the Eldest Daughter syndrome. She's a very caring figure of them all, but despite seeming mature and calm, she's just as chaotic as the rest of them. She won't hesitate to condone murder (for the right reasons, of course) and doesn't really reprimand any of her brothers for their shenanigans. If anything, she laughs and cheers them on. I mean, as long as no one's getting hurt, it's all good, right??

April (She/Her): April is also 14, standing next to Donnie age-wise. She's based off of Cin.. I haven't developed her as much since I don't have her design down yet, but as far as I've thought, she's a very mischievous creature.. think of Anya's smug little "heh" face. That's basically her entire personality /hj. Despite being a little bitch (/lhaff) she's very sweet and won't hesitate to comfort her friends and family. Best little sister ever <- not biased at all

As for the storyline.... uh... haha um I. Haven't really thought that far?? Ik for a fact Splinter (who I haven't developed in the slightest) finds all four of the turtles individually as time goes on, with Raph being the first, then Donnie, then Mikey, and then finally Leo. That's why my iteration is titled "found family", because they all literally found each other (unintentionally, but still).

This post is going to be. kind of long just due to the amount of sonas (drawings included) so if there's someone specific in the sonaverse you want to know more about, please do ask about them!! this is going to be just... bare bones information and some shitpost ideas.

Heads up, this list contains only the most developed sonas! So, some sonas won't be on here, like the Ghost Sona, or Miss Florist.

Lee Morrison and Chase Beckley // The Uncanny Valley

So, Lee and Chase, right? Right. These two are my main sona, replacing the old Ghost sona about... I don't know, a year and half ago? They're part of the Sweet Dreams sona team (Lee, Cro, Trainwail, and Verity) but they are officially known as the Uncanny Valley Duo, since prior to their lore in Sweet Dreams/Mistrick, Lee lived a majority of her life in the Uncanny Valley.

Lee's pronouns are she/her, while Chase's pronouns are they/them and masculine presenting. They are 16 and 29 respectively.

The lore of Lee and Chase can get kind of messy as all of the OCs in this list, so if you want to hear a more detailed version of it, you'll have to ask for it specifically. But, a TLDR of Lee's Uncanny Valley lore is: Mother ships off Lee with a ton of money to find her an apartment to live in due to the accident (tm), Lee goes house shopping, it goes TERRRRRIBLY wrong, trauma, Lee finds a non lethal two bedroom apartment and moves in with a roommate, creepy guy with a crush on her manifest, kidnapped, Lee escapes, gets a job at a gas station, that goes terribly wrong, lives there for god knows how long, mother calls again and ships her off to Border Springs, and then all of the Sweet Dreams lore happens. blah blah blah, timeline stuff, blah blah blah, name, place, proper pronouns /ref, Lee loses her mind,💥🎊 /ref, execution, Chase is a bad bitch you can't kill them, get Alice in Wonderland'd, idiot.

Miori Zimmerman // The Voices (tm)

The voices are either an angry little kid or a grown man who has a body count of at least 7 people, and yes they ARE siblings. In this case, however, you can insert Miori, the angry little kid who is also an orphan. oh and David is there ig.

Miori's pronouns are she/he/they. Canonically, Miori is 12 years old, and can appear as younger, but never older than 12 years old.

Miori's lore is kind of dependent on the game setting she's in to be honest... since she has a Poppy Playtime variant, a Crooked Man variant, a Resident Evil Variant, a Dead by Daylight variant... she doesn't have a solid backstory since the voices (tm) fit into whatever mold they need to. But you know what is this child consistently is among her different variants? Angry. Angry as HELL. And sassy. And casually bitter. She needs a hug and a good parental figure but she'll never admit it. Has canonically bitten a man's fingers off. And canonically is incapable of dying either. Occasionally you can hear her going "adaaaaa" in the background, clearly sounding like a lost child.

Jasmine Yvette Pines // The Shooting Star

Jasmine Yvette Pines, also known as Yasmine, or just, Yabel. She's one half of the Dark Deception duo, everyone point at Tammy Rivers Houser (Tazai) and say hi. Okay back to the shadow realm you go. Yabel is from Gravity Falls, Oregon! That is her home for most of her lore before dark deception.

Yabel's pronouns are she/her but honestly, she'll respond to anything. You could refer to her as a pinecone and she'll still respond tbh. Canonically she's 18 in Dark Deception and that's the age of most depictions you'll see of her, yet her age ranges anywhere from 14 to 22.

Yabel's lore is... kind of like Lee and Chase, where it's long and messy??? But, Yabel's lore is split into four major sections, so it's a little easier to distinguish and understand. There's the Dayshift at Freddy's section, the Gravity Falls section, the Dark Deception section, and the Weirdmageddon section. I can't really give a TLDR of Yabel's lore since there's just so MUCH of it but that would require me to talk about the matching sonas for each section as well so... that's more suited for a yabel specific ask.

Samantha Mason // The Occultist

Speaking of Yabel, I think it's worth it to talk about Yabel's Danny Phantom Counterpart, our gothic queen, Samantha. Sam exists purely in Weirdmaggedon as Yabel's tether to the bubble.

Samantha uses primarily she/he pronouns. Samantha has no canonic age.

Okay coming back here to talk about Sam a bit but. I just think Sam is kind of interesting. She's a creation of Bill Cipher who exists, solely to keep intruders out of the Weirdmaggedon bubble they trapped Yabel in. Based visually on Sam from Danny Phantom, Samantha is an in-universe occultist with powers that originate from Bill Cipher. And uhm... 👉🏼👈🏼ngl guys I just. love a good gothic morally ambiguous girlie. Of course in lore, the things she does to people is. mmmmmm teehee. Get 'em, girlie!! /j

Angel Trench // The Underwater Mafia Boss

Angel!!! Angel!!!!! I love Angel so much, guys. She's doing 20 million illegal things but it's okay she's a girlboss with a mission. A questionable mission, but a mission nonetheless.

Angel's pronouns are she/her!

Angel's lore is. there's a lot going on with her but one thing that is kind of important is that Angel's older sister is Lee/Chase, mentioned above. And, her lore ties a lot into the mystery surrounding Lee gone missing, the sudden shift in personality, and the execution of her sister... these things drive Angel's life, and wanting to know just... why. Wanting to know the truth and just know what happened. Miss Eel is her bestie, they have gossip teatime, she's the mom of like 20,000 mafia children. They're all grounded.

"Rabuka" // The Casino Underboss

why does everyone keep trying to date him. He doesn't even have a canonic partner. I'm still not over Dream Pins calling him "babygirl" like bestie wuh huh /lh /t

Rabu is the one sona who uses he/him exclusively.

Lorewise, Rabu is. a chimera demon who used to be an angel before he was cast down to hell. He's got a lot of lore, both on his own and with his two different duos, that being his hell side and his casino side. and he's just a silly guy!! He's very mean, he needs a warm blanket and a coffee.... and probably a nap. And, yes, his full name is Rabuka or... "frilled shark". There's lore reasons for that butttttt. teehee.

Raon Rain // Crepe Enthusiast

RAONNNNN I love my little valentine's day silly.

Raon uses she/her pronouns. In canon she's uhh... she was in high school so I think she was around 16 or 17 years old.

Okay so Raon comes from some dreams I had... and these has dreams have two google documents. One of them is based on Valentine's Day and one of them is based on Prom Night, but the docs are kind of messy and choked full of both my ramblings and triggers, so, I don't know if I'll share them yet (thinking to herself) but if you're interested, I can rewrite it, include all needed content warnings, adjust the grammar and whatnot.

Cherri Nakahara // Agency Secretary

Poor Cherri... they blew up her CARRRRR. Which... damn. my car. I hate driving but it would have been NICE to HAVE it still.

Cherri uses she/they pronouns. She's also 19 years old!

Cherri's lore is... it's short, sweet and concise for once. lmao. Basically, Cherri is the little sister of Chuuya, however, she doesn't have any form of special ability, she's just a normal ass person for the most part. Chuuya helped her get out of the mafia and away from it because he didn't want to see her get hurt, and Cherri ended up working with the ADA as a secretary under Dazai's jurisdiction. A lot of her character comes from like... her personality and ACTUALLY interacting with said character.

Justine Avarice // The Sacrificed Gambler

hi justine, sorry you got buried alive and sacrificed to the devil, queen. but you got a husband and a spouse out of it. we both got fucked up in your creation, peace and love.

Justine uses she/her pronouns, and she is 27 years old.

Justine's lore, similar to Cherri, is really short, simple, and concise! Most of the character character she has comes from her personality and her interactions. But, for the lore, Justine was brought into this death game by a group of cultists, made to dress up in... I think it was 1980s attire iirc? ( I'd have to fact check one with Yuu. ) and forced to compete in these survival games and majority votes. Unfortunately, Justine was chosen by majority vote by the other people and she was. buried alive in a coffin and killed. that's it. she's dead as hell /j okay but actually she got rescued and brought back to life and now she is living her best life with her space spouse and mathematician husband who IS a huge hater, actually. Get yourself a man who protects you from the people you thought were your friends as they SACRIFICE you for no DAMN REASON. Amen.

"Ame" and "Nihility" // The Lone Planetfarer

oh Nihil is. hmmmmmmmmmmm /j Nihil's very funny, very silly. Goes by the alternative name "Ame", Nihil's pretty cool. Nihil is short for Nihility.

Nihil technically... does not have pronouns??? They go by any and all pronouns! They also... don't have a canon age, they're as old as the oldest star and as young as the youngest moon at the same time. Ame, however, primarily uses she/her and is 22 years old, so, Nihil typically adopts the same.

Nihil has a lot of things going on with her backstory, so... back to the inbox if you want to know more about her!!! /j But, Nihil is known as "The Lone Planetfarer", and is capable of slaying gods and splitting planets in pieces with her sword. However, drawing her sword can corrupt Nihil, and if she gets too corrupted by the Nihility, she loses allll control ie she is FUCKED. lmao.

Of course, getting into Nihil means getting into the Nihility, the Stranger, and all of the other entities and monsters so that is a COMMITMENT i have to make so. make sure to visit the inbox if you want to know!!!

Velvet Sokolov // Local Russian

and finally... the newest sona to the list... Velvet!! Or, just, Vel for short. Your local donut loing russian who just really really misses her best friend and has a quickly deteriorating moral code.

Vel uses she/her pronouns, and she is 21 years old!

Vel has her own lore as well, and it's kind of... still growing tbh. I have some constants down but she's still stuck in the lore-ing department! But... I do have some facts about Vel. Like, she's russian, she's got red hair, canonically she has a really bad haircut, she was locked in a closet and bathroom and other dark places as a child and developed a debilitating fear of the dark as a result- yknow just, normal Vel things. I can talk about her lore and what her deal is if you guys are interested in it!!

Of all the sonas on the list, there are a few sets of sonas that cannot co-exist in a singular reality unless it's under very specific circumstances, which I can talk more about if you're interested in it. Those sonas are:

Lee and Chase (same person, different stages of life)

Yabel and Samantha (or more specifically, outside of the weirdmaggedon bubble, since Sam doesn't have a physical body)

Raon and Velvet (they serve the same role in their respective universes, however, their universes are headed in two completely different directions.)
