working as a nanny this summer and i started doing a bit to myself of ‘cannot believe they are allowing me in charge of children’ but i was interrupted by remembering that i am in so many ways regularly in charge of a child, and am very good at this
#the insane thing is that i was allowed in charge of her when i was a teenager who had never held a baby before her#in retrospect that was WILD!!!#my sister was a bona fide babysitter but i was working on intuition and love#thank g-d i didn’t have her alone that much when she was really small because i would’ve broken her like glass#ribbits
