~ tangled series ~ part 3
Simon 'Ghost' Riley x fem!reader x John 'Soap' MacTavish
a/n: Welcome back to part 3 of the tangled series. By now I decided that this series will become also a bit longer. Let's see where it'll lead us. Also I am sorry for the lack of updates atm, but I'm trying my best.
worcount: 3.6k
》Masterlist《 》 Read on AO3 《 》Master Post《
It seemed like you were the only one relaxed in the whole situation. Simon was tense as a rock, he didn’t dare to move, his eyes still subtle pinned on every movement you made trying to put the pieces together. He didn’t even dare to remove his mask, it stayed stern in place, only tugged up to sip on his drink occasionally. Johnny on the other hand was avoiding eye contact with everyone. His eyes stared down at his still empty plate. Kyle was the one trying to ease the whole vibe while chatting with his captain and getting some comments out of you as well. Humming along the conversation while sipping on your water in peace. John on the other hand was stressed as well. To be honest he was already on edge because of his medical leave, but seeing how his team, his boys behaved around you made him kind of nervous.
A ringing of the timer on your phone broke the vibe a bit. “Kyle? Mind me helpin’?” You stood up from John’s right side and requested man followed you to the kitchen, a genuine smile on his lips. It gave John a second to get a grip on the whole situation.
“Bloody fuckin’ hell. What’s wrong with you boys?” His voice had this authorial tone he used often as their captain. Still there was a worried undertone in. And a glimpse of regret not being able to be the captain they deserved right now.
“Bein’ a bit on edge lately. Sorry cap.” It was Johnny who answered, his voice full of regret. His partner looked at him with a concerned glance. Eyeing him up from toe to head before his hand found his nape. Squeezing it just so slightly. Simon didn’t know why this whole situation affected the Scot so much. Maybe it was seeing a happy couple so at ease. It wasn’t something self-evident for people with their career to have a partner waiting at home for them. Something the Scot wished often for but was now somehow stuck with his comrade and kind-of lover. It made Simon himself feel somehow guilty. But at least it helped him to ease his own mind, knowing that Johnny needed him now. Little did both know.
“Alright. Pull yourself together just for the few hours.” Price scolded them quiet, still an understanding tune in it as the door from the kitchen swung once more open. Revealing Kyle with two plates of baked pasta, holding the door with his body open for you to walk up to table with three plates yourself.
“Thank you.” Johnny mumbled as you handed him a plate, Simon only nodded.
“Anytime.” The sing-song voice that once made him excited and flustered gave him now a nauseous feeling down his guts. He couldn’t look at you, his mind flooding with thoughts of what-ifs and questions he had no answer for. All of you started to eat in silence.
“Lovely as al…” Just as John wanted to praise your cooking, an alarm set off. Not an alarm per se, but it sounded like on. It was the ringtone of your on-call phone. “You said no work, sunny.” Now it was Price’s voice that was filled with a certain sadness.
You pulled the napkin from your lap and placed it on the table. You gave him an apologetic look before walking over the shelf next to the dining table, pulling your phone from it and flicking the green button. “Price,” you answered quick and left the open living room area. John eyes followed your figure.
The room felt with anticipation, mostly because of the behavior of John. It was contagious for the others. It took you about 10 minutes to return to the room. A bag slipped over your shoulder, and a hoodie already thrown over your statue. A soft smile playing on your lips as you walked up to John. “Connor could draft in someone else…” His eyes met yours and you nodded.
“It’s better off in my hands, we both know that.” You assured him, shoving your phone into the pocket.
“How bad is it?” John reached his right hand that wasn’t caught in a cast out to you. It was the first time this evening Johnny dared to look at you again.
You stood closer, his hand placed onto your back, as you leaned over to him. “It’s not Piccadilly.” You laughed and John rolled his eyes at your statement. Kyle’s brows furrowed with confusion.
“He really needs to learn how to sort out priorities…” That made you roll your eyes. It was an inside joke you shared with him since the terror attack at Piccadilly Circus. Your coworker Connor and boss always referred to any incident as ‘not as was worse as piccadilly’, because nothing could be nearly worse than this day. You worked for more than two days straight. Five minutes naps were the only rest you got in between two patients and coffee became your best friend and somehow worst nightmare. “Call me. Alright?”
“Sure, Johnny.” You reassured him with your soft and still teasing voice before turning to your guests. The Scots stomach took some twists about the nickname. The name you cried out while he went down on you months ago. “Was a pleasure.” Did you intend the double meaning? Johnny couldn’t tell. You forced a half-hearted smile onto your lips, while the men around just nodded their goodbyes. And soon you were gone through the front door.
As soon as your car pulled off, Kyle looked at his captain. “Due to all respect. What was she dealing with at Piccadilly?” Kyle did remember that day like the back of his hand. It was the day he and Price met, and his life took a sudden turn.
Price exhaled; his brows furrowed in regret. “She is a trauma surgeon and had to deal with the aftermaths of our mistakes.” His voice was an octave deeper than usual and full of guilt.
Kyle’s eyes widen in shock, and a certain guilty vibe clung over the table. All for different reasons. A vibe nobody of them could really ease. So, they ate in silence, shared some more thoughts about the latest operations and how Price would make sure to get some assistance for the time he couldn’t be at base. Just like that the evening ended and the three men found themselves back in Simon’s car. The trip back to the base was filled with nothing than silence. Everyone caught up in their thoughts. Not daring to speak those out aloud.
Just as they pulled into the garage Johnny couldn’t bare it anymore. He knew that Simon could read him like an open book. Something that came with their work, what made their relationship a bit easier. But therefor he also assumed that his partner already knew that the Scot felt more than uncomfortable this evening. He didn’t even wait for Kyle to leave the car, because he fairly well knew himself as he was Johnny’s wingman back then. “So… I think we need to talk…” Johnny’s voice was full of pity. He didn’t even dare to look at Simon, who only hummed in approval, own eyes pinned onto his fist clenching around the steering wheel. The Brit assumed that Johnny caught something of his weird behavior tonight.
It stayed calm for another minute. One that felt unbearable. “I fucked the Captains wife.” Both said at the same time and immediately looked at each other in completely shock.
“Ye dae what?” It was Johnny whose sorrow turned into completely shock. He knew they agreed on having an open situationship. Especially for times when separated to blow off some steam. But he didn’t know that Simon actually had someone since their agreement.
“Wait, you both had the same bloody bird?” Kyle’s voice was somehow filled with amusement but also with disbelief. He shook his head. “You really need to sort things out mates. Cheers.” He left the car and made up his own mind. As much as he loved to get into the gossip deeper, he respected the boundaries his three teammates now had to take care of.
The when’s and how’s were cleared fast. Stating the facts and sharing it with each other as they found themselves in Simon’s room, sitting on his bed. “I mean… something must be wrong if lass actually cheats on him, eh?” Johnny tried to find a reason to blame your behavior and not theirs. Trying to somehow ease his mind. “And ye said ye met her while she was working in a bar? But Cap said she’s a surgeon? Dinnea make any sense…” His hands found some loose strands at the end of his mohawk as he slightly pulled at them.
Simon’s huge, calloused hands found his. As he pulled them away and interlaced his fingers with his. “Do we know for sure…that they’re married?” The question was only above a whisper. Johnny looked in disbelief at him. “They don’t wear a ring.” Simon went through his mind, all the way back to when he met you. To the dinner, to all the times he saw Price’s hands bare in front of him. Never did he saw a ring on the left hand. Not even something like a tan line was imprinted in his brain.
“Maybe they dinnea wear it because of their jobs… I dinnea ken.” He exhaled deeply. Leaning into the side of his partner for comfort.
“Maybe we should ‘st forget about it all… it happened, it’s in the past and now we should draw our distance from her. Strictly.” Simon’s voice was firm, but somehow gentle as his hand ran up and down of Johnny’s spine. Johnny nodded and both were sure, that it wouldn’t be that hard. They haven’t seen you all the years before, so why should that change now?
Well for the next day’s nothing indeed changed. They were going after their choirs on base and prepared everything for the next deployment. Trying to suppress any feelings turning in their stomachs and minds. In the meantime, it was Alex Keller who took a temporally place in their office, trying to get a grip on everything that was happening around. A familiar and friendly face around the base to help when their Captain was still on medical leave. They were just gathered around a table in a briefing room, discussing over some intel they gathered on the last operation when they could hear a knock on the door. Simon’s head snapped into the direction. “C’mon in.”
The door opened and revealed nothing different than your soft features. Johnny’s stomach instantly twisting as he saw your face. It hurt him to see you, how he still had the urge to be close to you. Dreams of the last nights all circling around you, and the things his partner and you did together. Imaging how pretty you’d have to look beneath Simon’s frame. He had dreams about you before, but now it was worse. He couldn’t shake the hot thoughts away when imagine himself and his partner sharing the same woman. And still he knew how all that was way too inappropriate.
“Hello there. John sends his regards. Said you could need that.” You walked over and handed a file to Simon, which eyes stared down at you. Right now, he wasn’t Simon, he was the Ghost. Not letting his emotions and thoughts getting in the way of his job.
“Sunny.” It was Alex’ voice that was heard before Ghost even could say something. He rounded the table to give you a quick and friendly hug. One that lasted a bit longer than Johnny thought was appropriate.
“Don’t let him hear that.” You laughed. While crossing your arms in front of your chest. You knew Alex from before. He was one of the rare mates of John you ever actual met. Even if it was a coincidence, you rather wanted to forget.
Alex let out a quiet chuckle. “Still the same, hm? And I wanted to ask you out for dinner. What a shame.” He gave you a coquettish smirk. The action confused the other members of the 141 even more. “How’s he doing?”
“You’d wish.” Winking at him with a sweet smile. “Better. Nearly ready to go again. Need to keep his arse taped down though.” You laughed, and that was the first time the vibe relaxed a bit. All of them could easily imagine how Price would try to do anything but rest. The thought of you chasing after him to get him to actual rest.
Your glance switched to the clock on your wrist. “Busy as ever?” Alex’s smile dropped a bit. He was always so tender and flirtatious without any further intentions though.
“You know me too well Keller.” A smile on your lips before you waved them goodbye and went after your business. Even after all those hours after your leaving, Johnny’s thoughts were always pinned to his partners words. And he couldn’t help himself but imagining how you’d feel pressed between both of their sweaty bodies. You were like a drug, and he couldn’t get away, while Simon tried to ditch everything that even had to deal with you. You were a forbidden fruit. Something he didn’t only not deserved but was completely not allowed to even think about. And he managed pretty well. Still, he found himself late at nights, with a naked Scot curled up at his side imagine how you were there with him, with them. How you were pinned on his chest while his mind so hard to chase those thoughts away.
It was four weeks later, when everything changed, and things started to make a bit more sense. The 141 including Alex and John just came back from a mission. It was the first one after Price went back to duty. Everything went well so far, and they found themselves in a nearby pub to celebrate their success and return of their captain. Kyle was the assigned driver for the night while everyone else toasted to their accomplishments. John was already quiet drunk, his medication still wearing on him, mixed with the whiskey rushing through his blood. Alex decided it would be for the best to send him home early. But nobody wanted to leave already. Everyone was into a way to good mood to let the night end already. Especially Johnny, as Simon was found to be a bit more touchy-feely with him. Something that happened very rarely in public, and he was too down for it. Maybe it was because this bar gave him a few memories. Some of them he tried to keep locked in the very last corner of his brain.
That way, Alex tried to be the most reasonable and called you, just as John and Johnny sung along the melody in the pub. Johnny already needed to steady his captain with his own arm while Simon had his hand on the Scots thigh.
“What’s wrong?” Your voice sounded worried as you picked up Alex’ call.
“Why should something be wrong?” Alex tried to calm his voice, trying to sober up just a little bit.
“Alex Keller. You do not just call me in the night when you are on deployment.” You had a scolding tone in your voice. Something he was familiar with. It was the same tone John himself hold all so often.
“We’re already back. It’s just… John…”
“Spit it out.” Your shoulders tensed as you feared the worst.
“He overdid it. I think he needs rest. Maybe you can come get him?” Alex rubbed his neck while his eyes fell onto the statue of Price. He almost clung to Johnny to keep him up. For a soldier that has been through a lot, the mixture of alcohol, pain meds and the last days of operation had grown its toll on him.
“Bloody ‘ell… y’all are drunk, aren’t ya? Stevie’s?” Your accent grew a bit thicker, as you already throw a jacket over your shoulders and took the keys of your car.
“Yeah and thank you.”
It took you about half an hour to arrive at the bar. A bar that belonged to a close friend of John’s. A friend that was a former soldier but retired because of a chronical hearing disability, caused through his job as a demolition expert back then. A bar where Steve now often offered soldiers as a safe space to calm their thoughts. A place you sometimes lend a helping hand when the pain and PTSD got the best of him. This man had risked his own life to save John’s. How could you not help him when he needed a day off? This was only possible when you had your days off of course. Otherwise, you were too occupied to save lives in your own way.
You made your way up to the bar fast, greeting some of the regulars, like Marcus. Bit your greetings to Stevie and get a glass of water. Kyle nearly choked on his drink as he found your figure approaching your table. “Sunshine?” John’s voice was drained as he noticed you, but he tried to stand up. Alex was faster on his feet, pushing him down into his seat again.
“Drink.” Your voice was stern as you pushed the glass into his hand. He followed your order without hesitation. “Things should never have been allowed to come to this pass.” You looked at Alex with a scolding hint in your eyes. The others of the 141 watched the whole scenery with mixed feelings. The grip on the Scots thigh tightened as Simons eyes were pinned onto your figure. The same excitement washing over him as he watched you handling those assholes when he first met you.
Alex stood up and placed his hands on your shoulders. His eyes an unspoken apology, before his mouth accomplished the words. “I am sorry, sunny.”
These words flipped a switch in John’s brain. He was quicker on his feet than anybody could even blink. His statue standing between the both of you and literally ripping Alex’ hands of you. “Don’t you fuckin’ dare, soldier.” Alex stepped back a bit, his hands up in defense. He had seen the captain’s fury before.
That when you forcefully turned him around. “John.” He just wanted to turn back to Alex. That’s when your voice became that same demanding tone as John’s. “Jonathan Price.” It somehow snapped him back, his clouded thoughts sobering up a bit. “Get in the car.” Your tone sent shivers down his spine. Bot not only to John’s. The Scot found himself a bit too aroused by the tone in your voice as he shifted a bit further into the male next to him.
“Sunny…” John’s voice was pleading as he tried to reach out to you. His eyes full of regret.
“Weren’t my words clear enough?” You literal hissed at him. And he shook his head no before walking sloppy out of the pub. Kyle was quick to steady him and help him out. Simon saw Price often with regret clinging to his body, but never with this kind of defeat. You punched the bridge of your nose with a deep exhale. “Next time call earlier.” You looked at Alex and nodded. “Sorry for the interruptions. Enjoy the rest of the night.” You apologized and smiled genuine at the remaining members on the table, who looked at you with a certain understanding, while everything in their eyes screamed to take you somewhere else. Somewhere behind closed doors to go after those inappropriate fantasies that were haunting their dreams. But they could do nothing to stare after you while you left. Still eyes pinned on the door you walked through minutes later as Kyle just returned, a wide grin on his lips, that somehow didn’t make any sense to Simon nor Johnny.
“What’s ‘e face about?” Simon’s voice was a low grumble. Trying to process everything that just happened.
“You’ll see soon enough.” Kyle laughed while Alex took the place next to him again.
This revelation came sooner than everyone expected. It was at the next day. The men already gathered for some breakfast as their captain returned to base. His head a bit lower than usual. “I wanted to apologize.” He looked at all his team members, but mostly at Alex who only nodded. But before Alex could answer John continued. “I stepped a line.” Simon looked at him in disbelief. Never did he noticed such an undertone lingering in between his words. It was nearly hurt.
taglist: open just leave a comment
“Sir, due to all respect, but if my sister would’ve been through the same… I wouldn’t have act any different.” Alex’ hand found the shoulder of the older man. A reassuring smile on his lips as Price only nodded. The rumbling inside John’s heart settling more and more. While this whole situation only established a deep longing in Johnny’s stomach. Sister…you weren’t his wife. You were his little sister. Neither him nor Simon had broken into your relationship. Johnny shoved all the thoughts of the eventual reaction of their captain aside. Maybe there was still hope for the dreams he had. Maybe he could reach them somehow. His eyes found those of his partner, who already stared at back at him and Johnny could’ve sworn to see some of the same kind of desire in those brown orbs.

Markus isn't boring, you are simply racist.
Hi. I'd like to tell you all my story with Markus.
I entered in the DBH fandom recently because I recently played the game for the first time when I finally bought a PS5 (I couldn't play it sooner because I didn't have the console) but I actually was curious about this game since it came out in 2019, but at the time (and before playing it) I knew next to nothing about it.
All I knew was that the three main characters were two males and a female robots, which one was the guy from Grey's Anatomy, one was a police officer and the female one wanted to protect a little girl from her abusive father (Kara's story was actually the one I knew better, I think it's because I watched some gameplays and I remember feeling really anxious about the chapters with Todd). I also remembered there was another female android which was North obviously, but I truly had no idea what her name was or what her face was and I had absolutely no idea about the existence of Josh, Luther, Ralph, Daniel, Simon (which is hilarious since he is my fave now) and literally any other character.
And now I'll be 100% honest with you.
When I went to the store to buy the game and I saw Markus in the cover, I was annoyed. Why you ask? Easy.
All I could see was Jesse Williams.
Do not misunderstand me, I never hated or disliked Jesse Williams, I have nothing against the guy, but to me he was the guy from Grey's Anatomy.
Tbh I always hated Grey's Anatomy but unfortunately one of my best friends love it as much as I hate it, and she has the biggest crush on Jesse Williams' character, Jackson Avery, and she made me watch, too many, oh god believe me, too many times his scenes that at one point everytime I saw his face all I did was roll my eyes and sigh. So when I saw him in DBH I thought "ugh this guy again".
So my first approach to the game was being very careful and being really interested in both Connor and Kara's storylines, but when a Markus' chapter happened I just sighed and wanted it to end it to play the other two.
Then the chapter of Markus in the junkyard happened. I was less annoyed by Markus at this point because he started to growing up on me but I still had too prejudice to admit it to myself, but that chapter moved something in me. I didn't know what, but it did something, and when Markus found Jericho and met North, Simon and Josh.. well, I was curious.
And then, finally, at the Spare Parts chapter, I started to realize how great Jericho's, and consequently Markus' storyline, was. As the story progressed, I started to realize how much I was beginning to love Markus, how everytime I looked at Jesse Williams I didn't see the Grey's Anatomy guy anymore, but Markus. Suddenly, the situation had reversed: there weren't enough chapters about Markus to me there wasn't never enough of him and at every chapter of Connor and Kara all I could think of was wanting to see Markus and the Jericrew again (I still found Connor and Kara's storylines interesting, but they were nothing compared to Markus). By the end of The Freedom March I had shivers and realized how much I cared for Markus and his story and I had the realization that if my choices towards the end would lead to his death, I would be really really sad all this while thinking what a great, inspiring character he is.
The way he is the leader of an entire species and the most important person of Jericho, and yet he is ready to risk his life for every broken single android. The way he worries for North when he heard shoots, the way one of his first thoughts when Jericho is attacked are Simon and Josh and wondering if they are okay despite being in risk himself in that moment. The way he forgives Connor without even blinking even if he is responsible of the destruction of Jericho and of the death of a lot of his people, and the way he still has no hate towards him even if he tries to kill him because despite everything, he is still one of his people. The way they are in a desperate situation and he has a lot on his mind and yet he promises Kara, an android who he just met, to help her because he can't possibly not help every android who need help. The way he is scared and worried and has doubts of what to do because he just wants the best for his people but they are getting killed and yet he never asks for help because he can't let himself to pass this burden to another android he is the one who has to deal with it. The way he accepts everyone in Jericho and let androids be themselves, never forcing them to join him or die for the cause. The way he cares. For everyone and everything. He cares he cares he cares.
Markus is all of this, and even more.
I started the game not being thrilled of him being there solely for a stupid, idiotic prejudice based on nothing, and I ended it being over the moon for this selfless, brave hero.
Despite what I was feeling at the beginning, I ended being totally in love with this amazing character and surely I won't let you all classify Markus as "boring". I won't let you. Not anymore.
I won't let you call boring a character who is nothing but positive.
I won't let you call boring a character who sacrificed himself for freeing his people.
I won't let you call boring a character for whom you would all simp for if he was white.
Markus isn't boring. Just admit you are racist and leave.
#I have been thinking of writing this for a long long time#kinda scared because it was really stupid of me having this prejudice#I wasn't proud of it then and I am not now#but it's the truth and I wanted to share it to show how powerful markus is#dbh#detroit become human#detroit: become human#markus rk200#dbh markus

I need more roleplay partners
This is an active attempt at making people want to roleplay with me, because I just need more active ones, other than the one that I currently have (they're irreplaceable for sure!)
Now, my main genres are romance (usually the base), fantasy, action, medieval, sci-fi, gore, even angst, just no slice of life. I accept anything MxM, FxF, NBxNB, FxNB, MxNB, shipping OCs is cool, I really lean into the fantasy aspect with my OCs, but I mainly ship specific things from fandoms (I am quite sure that you will recognise at least one of these, trust me). I find gore completely fine and I come for drama, as long as it doesn't come out of nowhere. I write in a weird mix between semi-lit and literate. If I keep myself short, I either don't know what to write or I am preoccupied with something else at the moment. 18+ stuff is good too, I am 20 (I am a pure bottom, but not all that I roleplay is submissive, most of them stand their ground quite well). I am a very creative person, who will most likely find a plot in anything, so if you want to add things aswell, just let me know! My timezone is MET (Middle European Time), which mean that I am German.
These are the fandoms that I roleplay (and the pairings that I like the most from each)
♤Dream Daddy (Damien x Robert or Damien x Joseph)
♡Spaloon 1-3 (mainly Agent 12, but also Shiver x Marie and Frye x Callie)
♤Pokemon (dirteatingshipping and researchethicsshipping are my go-to, but I also really like Archie x Ghetsis (and I gave them the shipname eyeseashipping))
♡No Straight Roads (I love the neonnova and rinzuke dynamic)
♤The Stanley Parable (do I even need to say anything? Obviously, stannarrator)
♡Countryhumans (wild takes for this one, but I always preferred AmeGer and Finland x Third Reich)
♤Undertale/Deltarune (There's alot here, but I really like sansby, tuffet, gaster x asgore, papyton and swatchton)
♡Team Fortress 2 (always love fruit scones, gentle surgery and bush medicine (I like being Medic lol))
♤Super Mario/Luigi's Mansion 2-3 (King Booigi and Toedette x Peach, those I love)
♡Jojo's Bizarre Adventure part 3-4 (Jotakak, Josuyasu and Rohan x Mikitaka)
♤Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss (I'm obsessed with staticmoth and adamsapple)
♡Detroit Become Human (rk1700, Simon x Connor and Simon x Markus, though Connor x Kamski is also good)
♤Yokai Watch (I don't have a preference, I just want to be a yokai, not a human lol)
♡Pikmin 1-4 (I love Alph x Loui and Shepherd x Brittany)
♤Super Smash Bros (I'd be Mii Swordfighter, just pair him up with any adult male in the roster)
♡Steven Universe (Pearl x Sapphire/Peridot/Lapis/Rose/Jasper, I just want to be Pearl)
♤My Little Pony (Specifically fluttertwi, pinkidash and rarijack, though raritwi and Celestia/Luna x Twilight are cool too)
♡Sonic (stobotnik, Sonic x Tails, Silver x Tails, Silver x Shadow, just depends on where things go-)
♤Villainous (paperhat is a must, though the Flug x Slug and Black Hat x White Hat double-ups are good too)
♡Good Omens (ineffable husbands obviously, but I also like Gabriel x Aziraphale)
♤Star Wars (Obikin, Obimaul and or just me being a battle droid, falling in love with anyone of your choice (I can imagine general grievous being a funny one))
♡Sanders Sides (analogical, royality and demus)
♤Fnaf (I really like being Bonnie of any kind ^^)
♡Cookie Run Kingdom (there's one in particular... licorice cookie x red velvet cookie)
♤Wander Over Yander (I literally only want to do deathglare and to be Peepers!)
♡Legends Of Avantris - specifically Once Upon A Witchlight or Stardust Rhapsody (coalecroux, grimmorining, Rett x Pyke and Leboosh x Chuckles)
♤The Amazing Digital Circus (royalteeth, the girls and non-binary can be mixed up and Kaufmo x Jax)
♡Kirby game series (metadede, Magalor x Marx, Susie x Taranza, Waddle doo x Bandana Dee and probably more-)
If you are interested in roleplaying with me now, you can comment or dm me. If you prefer roleplaying with me on Discord, I can send you my Discord in dms.

Headcanon; Jim's Trusted Staff
Jim has a whole network of people working for him but a good majority of those have never met him, or if they have, they've met a decoy. There are only a few people who Jim trusts to meet with regularly and they are:
Sebastian Moran
Sniper, Chief of Staff. Jim's most trusted, the first employee he hired. He is the second in command and if James isn't around everyone is to report to Sebastian. He doesn't say it out loud but Jim attributes a lot of the success of the web to the two of them working together. He'd be lost without his sniper.
Teddy Connors
FC: Taron Egerton
Covert Ops
Teddy is Jim's protégé. He was hired when James finally had the resources and wealth to fully take on and train someone to an expert level. Teddy can be found on my multi!
Billie Marlowe
FC: Florence Pugh
Covert Ops
Billie was hired by Sebastian when they both went to punch the same guy in a bar. She's feisty, skilled with knives and stealthy. Billie can be found on my multi!
Naira Richardson
FC: Simone Ashley
Public Relations
Naira manages Jim's public persona. She looks after his diary and the outward appearance of the web. She hosts events, charity galas, anything that brings investors and sponsors in. She also looks after client relationships with the businesses that launder money for Jim. As much as the Web is a criminal enterprise, there are a lot of politics also involved, which Naira smooths over.
Naira's available to write with on this blog just message me to plot something!
Ciarán McCarthy
FC: Cillian Murphy
Jim's Decoy
Jim is a busy man, he doesn't have time to meet everyone. Plus, it's dangerous, he doesn't want to walk into a situation that might end with him dead. That's where Ciarán comes in. To the general world he is Jim Moriarty. He's the one who shows up for meetings - He's also the one who'll take the fall if the Web ever goes under. People aren't fully sure why he'd agree to this job, all they know is that a meeting took place, spanned over three hours and contracts were signed.
Ciarán's available to write with on this blog just message me to plot something!

This is my first time requesting so im not sure if im doing this right- my apologies if it isnt! Can I ask for an imagine where connor (or any android of your choice!) confesses to the reader? It can also be just reactions/headcanons if that would be easier for you! I hope you have a wonderful day 💗
GREEN LIGHT
in which androids have been recognised as another form of life, and are living in harmony alongside humans. connor, a deviant android, is beginning to feel, and definitely fall, for you, an android.
character : connor rk800
song : green light , lorde
date : 16th october 2021
note : thank you so much for requesting !!! honestly, i can't thank you enough requests make me so happy ,, and you're def requesting right ! so if anyone else wants to request something, don't be shy ! <3
autumn had hit the city of detroit; orange leaves were already beginning to fall off branches and litter the sidewalks, and people and androids had began to cover themselves in warm layers as they roamed the streets.
almost a full year had passed since androids had been granted freedom and recognition as another life form. markus, the android who'd initiated it all, was still known as the leader, or at least someone who made the calls and was highly respected. connor had aided markus in a way, working his way into cyberlife and spreading deviance on to the new android models; that was how he met you, by going against what he'd been programmed to do and siding with the gone-deviant androids, which you'd also done.
whilst he was supposed to be on a mission to end jericho and deviancy, connor had met the masterminds behind each plan — one of them was you, an ax700 model who had turned to a new place to go after being mistreated by a group of teenagers, leaving you in scraps with nowhere to go; your older owners wouldn't want you coming back home in such a mess. that's when you'd stumbled upon jericho, and all the androids who inhabited it: north, simon and josh, along with others who'd yet to make names for themselves, and then markus came along and everything that had happened last winter had happened. honestly, no one thought it would work but it did.
you and connor sat on a wooden park bench, overlooking the oranges and burgundies autumn had to offer. in the playground ahead, children played around on the equipment, their androids, who were once slaves, watched over them with joyous smiles on their faces. you were glad for your collective impact on america, and how things would now change.
with a small chuckle you asked, "do you see that little girl?" you gestured towards her. "the one on the roundabout playing with her android." you glanced over at connor, who nodded. "without us, they wouldn't be there. maybe the girl, but that lady would just be standing there doing her job, not experiencing life like she is now. and i think that's amazing."
when you looked back over at connor, he was already looking down at you, a small smile evident on his face. his soft, brown puppy-dog eyes examined your features, taking in your happiness.
"it..." connor began, looking away abruptly. "it does feel good," he agreed. a soft chuckle escaped his lips as he looked up at the children playing around on the playground equipment. although there was a smile on connor's lips, something about him seemed conflicted. when he looked back at you, his eyes wandered elsewhere and he hesitated with his speech. "walk with me."
connor rose from the bench, you followed suit.
as the two of you walked, leaves crunched under your feet. further through the park and the laughs of children in the playground grew quieter, and conversations of people on benches passed by.
"this past year, a lot has happened for androids. we've been granted the right to vote, we're allowed to go to school and get jobs that any other human could have. we... we're doing a lot better — markus is doing a lot for us, working to let us do the things we want to do, the things we should be allowed to do."
"yeah..." you replied slowly, your pace slowing as well. "what's your point?"
"well... i don't know, i don't know really." this was unlike connor, stumbling over his words, hesitating and stopping.
eyebrows furrowing, you asked, "are you okay, con?"
connor stopped abruptly and turned to you. "my mind is cloudy. i'm experiencing emotions like never before; of course, now i feel emotions, but i don't think i've felt something like this." his eyes wavered, unable to stay trained on one place.
"like what?"
"like... like love. i think. i don't know for sure. i don't know what love is meant to feel like, but i think this is it, and i want to be."
"oh?" was all you could say in return. what were you meant to say? who was this love for? why was he telling you? "that's— that's great! i mean, is it? i don't really know what to say..."
the android opposite you scowled, trying to think of how to continue. "i guess what i mean is, it's you. you're the one i... love. and i don't know what to do about it. i remember last year at the eden club there were two androids, and they loved each other — they were in love. at the time, i didn't understand that, how or why it worked." finally, your eyes met. "but now, i think i do."

Deviancy In Humans.
Hm, a different Celestial Gate strike your fancy?
i see. Enjoy, spirit.
Characters; Simon, Connor, North(minimal), Markus(minimal)
Simon x Reader - Connor x reader (platonic, mere mention)
Genre: Fluff, Hurt/Comfort (Can also be found on My AO3)
A CELESTIAL GATE WELCOMES YOU. IT REMEMBERS YOU.
From the day you could remember gaining a sense of self in the world…say, about 4 years old at the time, you couldn't really feel much when it came to emotions. Emotions, the thing everyone seems to have, and tend to be sensitive about. You've seen people cut off their emotions, but fail to do so in the end, as anger mostly shunned through that terribly crafted pile of fear they called a ‘mask’. You knew no matter how many walls they put up, they would only end in tears and shouts of rage, you first witnessed that at 7. you've seen it happen every time. But you, you didn't have to put on a mask, a facade of aloofness, since you already truly were.
No matter what went wrong, whether to you, to others ,anything, you couldn't find it in yourself to care. Now, you weren't heartless, you still had a sense of morality,
but you just couldn't care to do more than a ‘Why cry?’ or ‘This is pointless, get better’ whenever someone were to break down in front of you, you never understood why they got angry when you said those things. You knew you were being a bit insensitive about it, but could you really help it? it’s their fault for letting petty emotions stop them from sucking it up.
You never did, you couldn't after all.
You ‘work’ at the DPD. Fowler, even if he did pity you a bit, seemed to think that your mindset was fit for this line of mentally tearring work, or at least more fit than anyone he’s ever worked with. Well, you didn't really work for the DPD, so you weren't loyal to them.
You could just up and leave whenever you felt like you didn't want to work, you’d never signed anything official, you were not bound to them by law by any means.
You just kind of stood there in the background, doing whatever fowler told you to do. That's how you always were, just doing what you're told without question. If it avoided those stupid tears, and unnecessarily loud voices, you would do it without complaint.
Many compared you to an android, to Connor, but way more lifeless, despite being human. You had talked to Connor once, twice, thrice, a lot. You could say you were friends, or that he was beneficial to have around. You knew the importance of bonds, but never experienced them, so you never sought one out.
Connor..Connor didn’t know what to think of you for the time being. But, he was sure that you being emotionless, as a human, was a bit startling to him. He thought all humans had emotions that shone through, whether bad, or good. Hank was a good example of that. But when he first met you, and your eyes held no light to them, he would be lying if he said he wasn't confused. The air around you already seemed dead, despite being the human, and he, the machine. When he saw you just mindlessly doing what you were told, he thought you were an android, until he saw you eating candy, a Blow Pop to be specific. When he had asked you if you knew that wasn't healthy to be having at 6:25, as breakfast. Your answer had put him off a little.
“It gives me a sugar rush, something akin to feeling alive, hyper i’d say, i like it” You had attempted to give him a smile, but eventually gave up, obviously not being used to such an action.
He never understood that until he became deviant. Until he met the founders at Jericho. He had brought you with him, he felt bad, was it possible for humans to go deviant? he wanted to save you. He knew what you were feeling because he’s an android, he knew what the aggravating absence of emotions felt like, he’s certain to feel now, how would deviancy work in a human like you? Ever since he became deviant he no longer felt to need- the urge to ‘accomplishsucceedkillapprehend’
When you had gotten to Jericho with Connor things were a bit rowdy, you were human after all, what place did you have there? None to be truthful.
When you walked down the rusty corridor, bumped into a pole, barley reacted, and kept walking, you couldn't help but wonder how you had gotten here, you had blacked out for the first chunk of you run with Connor, apparently, you had blacked out again, because you were standing next to Connor in front of 4 different androids. You tuned back in when they introduced themselves as Simon, Markus, North, and Josh. you knew them, the Stratford tower incident, you knew them from, nothing further than that though.
They began talking about things you understood, but simply cared nothing about, when you noticed the PL600, or Simon, you learned, staring intently at you, you didn't care that he was, and spaced off again, still listening to their pointless planning.
“You’ve brought a Human here, Connor”
Everybody seemed to freeze at that, Distant chattering coming silent, Bodies tensing at the mere mention of a human-not even seeing the human yet, heads turning, LED’S flashing red and yellow, but never blue, and if those androids LED’S weren't already red? They had gotten a shade darker if possible. But you didn't address anything, and let Connor do the talking, you didn't see the point in doing so yourself.
The girl android,
North,
began to grow hostile, stepping to confirm Simon's statement, and maybe get a little violent, but Connor stopped her. “I brought her here for a reason, a reason of my own concern” He said sternly. But only for to snarl back, “well, if she ended up slaughtering all of us, and leading the swat teams to bombing our only way of safety, it will be ALL of our concern, Conner” She spat out his name as if it were venom.
Then and only then did you feel the need to speak;
“What's the point of getting angry, is that helping in a way I don't know?” you said it in such a flat tone, some couldn't help but question it. Most people always did, but it wasn't like you could help it. North seemed to take deep offense to that question and began to snap at you, insulting you and your kind. A Human, she seems to hate those.
“You and your kind would understand anger more than any of us here, Your anger is something for many of us here are forced to fear, it might be for them, but not me. you have no right to ask that..!” she bit at you. You still didn't understand, you really didn't. What would getting angry do for her? Why was she even angrier? Did you say something offensive? a slur? You were just asking.
Connor seemed to see that on your face, as he answered you. “Sorry, i didn’t expect you to understand what north means..” he trailed off. He didn't mean to put you on the spot like that, he meant to answer everything, he didn't expect you to speak out of nowhere like that, he hadn't counted on you caring enough to say anything. He felt guilty for putting you through North’s hostility. He seemed to think it was his fault
Connor is always like that, you could kick him and he'd think he'd warranted it somehow. What a Connor thing to do.
North seemed to look confused at that, so he confirmed some things, “oh, she’s emotionless from birth, what North said about anger must have confused her, since she isn't familiar with emotions, she seems to want to know if getting angry is a good thing.” Connor was right, was it a good thing, People seemed to get angry as a way to resolve things, was it beneficial? It seems to get the most to back off. You didn't understand..
Everyone back at home seemed to get annoyed at your inability to read the room. to understand. But they were there for you even so. you had a spot for them in your heart, your family was the best, even if you're emotionally stumped, you stilled had love for others.
Everyone was shocked, disbelieving even. A human? Emotionless? How could that be? but they had no choice but to believe him. that explained most things. To Markus the most. He kind of knew something was up with you.
As they looked at you, you were confused, a bit wary, and spacing out. her display of rapid emotion was something you must have been used to, given your lively and loving family, a stark contrast of you.
some were still suspicious. Shouldn't you know anger the best? That’s what your kind seems to act on…while true, just isn'tyou.
“I'm sorry.... well, not really, I cant feel all that sorry. Even if I say it, I wont mean it that much, but, sorry”
They all seemed to understand that to some extent. They knew what it felt like to say things, but not have the emotion to back it up. Simon had pitied you, so did Markus and Josh, north a little less, but it was still there.
They knew how that pit of missing emotion felt, so Simon couldn't help but want to fill it with something, anything, but he knew he couldn't, you were human, it didn't work the same way it did for them, he understood that now, but it made him feel even worse about the whole thing.
You seemed to pick up on their pity, you didn't hate the pity, but you also didn't like it, you didn't have a particular feeling towards it, but it was un-hearty and pointless.
“I don't understand pity, I can't hate it, or appreciate it, so why feel pity for someone who can't reciprocate?” You said with a tone they couldn't decipher. If they didn’t know any better of your emotionlessness, they would say it was frustration.
You knew what frustration felt like, you just never acknowledged it, never gave it the time of day, but it felt nice to let it seep through, you kind of understood norths outburst more. it was freeing.
That seemed to reach Simon. He related to you a lot, just like Connor did. He never told anyone much of what his life was like before deviancy, but it’s not like it was bad or anything. But that also didn't mean it was a fairytale, or some walk in a flowery park.
He remembers saying things to people, consoling them; despite not caring. Hugging people; despite not feeling the spark that Humans get, even looking into somebody's eyes, and never feeling a connection. He felt for you in that moment. Not pity, but a reach of understanding he didn't have before.
Simon also thought you were a pretty looking human. You had an ethereal look about you that did not match your mind, your (slight lack of) emotions. You looked soft; despite the cold, but oddly comforting air that sported around you at every hour. You were understanding; despite the lack of emotion, and the cold hard truth that came with it. You had morality that most humans seemed to lack for their cause, despite the opinions that seemed to insult them, they knew you didn't mean it to come out like that. They were in your position before, of course they understood. You were…
over the week that passed since that incident; you were what humans would call his crush.
Simons knew that he could never “fix you”. You had told him, and the rest of the crew that when your parents brought you to the doctors, they had claimed that they could “fix you”. That struck a lot of people on the ship. the only difference being, they were never accepted. The small crowd of random androids you were conversing with, that weren't wary of you, had felt bad in that moment, but they also understood. They understood you to your core, they wished you could go deviant,
you had emotions, yes, but its like they were locked behind a wall. but just like Simon, they knew you couldn't just break down a wall and feel happy, scared, or angry at a larger scale. You just couldn't, you were human, not android, everyone on the ship. Kara. seemed to forget that sometimes. North never did, though.
Simon. He forgot that sometimes.
Or, was it just that fact that if you were a deviant, he wouldn't have taken your lack of emotion so hard. Or maybe, it's the thought that if maybe you were an android, he could “fix you” as you so claimed you were “broken”. Maybe he just wishes you could understand his feelings and love him back
its hurts cause he knows. he knows your emotional stump is keeping you back, but he cant help. he knows that the little understand of love you have, isn't enough to share with him. Even if you were an android.....a deviant, or not an emotionless human at all by some RA9 miracle, who’s to say you would look at him?
Those thoughts plague him on the daily, as he watches you converse with the many people of Jericho, so devoid of normal emotion, that many couldn't help but feel despair at your situation, a situation that had once been in, but you can't get out of. As far as Simon knew, basically everyone on the ship knew of you and your situation. They all understood. Even the wary ones that preferred to pity from a distance.
Simon had confided in Markus about his feelings and despair for you. He provided many words, but no words formed a solution for you.
Simon loved you,
yes love.
He loves you.
He’d confirmed it just last Tuesday. It was on that Tuesday that he cried for the first time since he became deviant. He let his feelings go too far, now the hurt in his heart would only grow as he thought of you. You, never loving him, never being able to. He felt hopeless.
Even more so when he has heard from Connor that you had gone missing the next day. He was hopeless.
It was on that Wednesday’s Afternoon, that he and a group of others found you. They found you curled around a cat, or, the cat curled along you. You had not yet noticed them, or knowing you, simply didn't care for their presence. You and that cat seemed to have a staring contest for a while, before he perched on the soft of your lap. You pet it, for a while, When Connor was going to interrupt and scold you for leaving for 5 hours on end, he found himself and the others frozen, North amused, Markus a bit shocked, and Simon hopeful for something.
You liked this cat.
-You liked it so much.
You smiled….
‘Is this deviancy in humans?’ Markus couldn't help but think to his companions. Simon had cried again for the second time since deviancy, he choked.
Simon didn't feel so hopeless anymore.
You smiled at Simon too.
.
. ............................................................................................
One seems happy. A good Adventure into the Celestial Gates?
i see. I am delighted it was such a joy for you. You must love him.

Connor: You look a lot like this other android I met. Daniel?
Simon: Okay, well, first of all, we’re the same model. Second of all, I do not look like him, he looks like me. I was built first. That means this face is my face, not his.

North & Simarkus. Written for the DBH Seven Kisses prompt challenge by @connor-sent-by-cyberlife
February 9th - Wednesday: a kiss missed
//
“North, I’m afraid I’ve got campaign matters to attend to. You’ll have to carry on with the Valentine’s charity event on your own.”
“Sure, Simon. I’ll handle it.”
North hoisted the box of decorations onto her hip. She hadn’t quite perfected the art of the false smile yet, but she managed to replace her fierce expression with one of calm neutrality.
Feb 9, 2040.
How things had changed. How the tables had turned. Well, they hadn’t really turned… Everything was in perfect balance. Just the way the universe was meant to be. Androids had their freedom. Markus was the leader. New Jericho was their home. And North… was one of the many people who helped to make it all happen.
One. Of. The. Many.
She wasn’t special.
She thought she was. North had really hoped there was some invisible but unbreakable thread between her and the man she owed everything to. But it turned out that every single person who met Markus felt that way.
She wasn’t special.
But apparently Simon was.
The door swung open and Markus strode in wearing an impressive designer suit commissioned specially for the day’s media appearances. The energy in the room changed instantaneously as all faces turned toward their leader. Strength and calm optimism filled the air. Even North felt her systems automatically relax.
Markus walked right past her and slipped an arm around Simon’s waist. The blond android turned and reciprocated his touch. North’s eyes didn’t miss how their synth skins retracted all the way to their forearms.
“How did the interview go?”
“As smooth as you planned it, my love.”
An artificial blush spread across Simon’s cheeks as he ducked his head. Markus leaned in and claimed his lips in a rather demanding kiss. The rest of the room broke out in polite little giggles. Her colleagues quickly turned away and went back to their work, but North couldn’t help but watch.
She remained rooted to the spot… clutching the box of paper hearts and pink roses… staring crudely and wondering how exactly life had passed her by… how she’d caught every boat but missed this kiss.

I Would Love You In Any Form You Would Take
Summary: With a simple tweak of the preconstruction software, androids should be able to get glimpses of "alternate realities". At least that's what Kamski said when he barged unnanounced into Markus' home. While Markus is intrigued by the prospect, Simon is definitively not. Sixth day of Simarkus Week 2022, prompt In any universe.
Ship: Simon/Markus (Detroit: Become Human)
Warnings: None
Tags: Crack Treated Seriously, Fluff, Alternate Realities, Protective Simon (Detroit: Become Human), Markus Loves Simon (Detroit: Become Human), Established Relationship, Secret Relationship, Elijah Kamski Being Elijah Kamski, Markus Gets To See Some Of The Alternate Universes, Alternate Universe
Wordcount: 3,161
A/N: Title inspired by the lyrics of the song Ugly by Nicole Dollanganger. Thanks for reading! Let me know whether you noticed the shameless promo of one of my AUs ;P
You can also read it on ao3!
It went without saying that Markus had a lot of respect for Elijah Kamski. He was his creator, a visionary, and Carl’s old and dearest friend. But what he had proposed right now was just batshit crazy, no matter how he put it.
“So, let me be clear,” Markus leaned down on his knees as he tried to sort his thoughts. It wasn’t every day that someone came to their door, proposing something so... loony, yet fascinating at the same time. If any of it was true, that is. But knowing Elijah Kamski, nothing was quite impossible if he could help it. “You claim that there are some ‘alternate realities’, and that I can see them for a short period of time.”
Like this, it sounded even more preposterous. Who in their right mind would believe in alternate realities, right? Well, apparently, Kamski did. And maybe he was too curious for his own good, but Markus has always prided himself for his open-mindedness. He wanted to at least give it a chance, before writing it off as complete nonsense.
Simon, on the other hand, eyed Kamski warily from his side of the couch. Unlike Markus, he had never met the man in person before. He knew him only as the elusive father of all androidhood. So it was natural he was much more suspicious of him. And Markus couldn’t blame him. This wasn’t the best showcase to convince him that Kamski was perfectly sane.
“With a trivial tweak to your preconstruction software, yes. You got that right. It’s simple, really. So much so I can’t believe I haven’t thought of it sooner,” Kamski replied with that unsettling grin of his, and Simon, despite being cautious even about semi-public displays of affection, went to grab Markus’ hand and squeezed it tightly, as if to warn him.
It took Markus exactly three beats of his galloping heart to tear his gaze away from where their skin brushed against one another to focus back at Kamski. In his defense, this was the first time since they got together that Simon had dared to hold his hand in front of anyone other than Carl. At this point, he almost came to miss the “good old days of revolution” when the quiet, stoic man wasn’t afraid in the slightest to casually touch his shoulders, arms, or, when he felt particularly daring, hands.
But now that the easy part was over and diplomatic meetings became their daily routine, Simon argued it was too “risky” for him as their leader to be seen around being cozy with another android, and an obsolete model on top of that. A complete nonsense, if you ask Markus, but for the sake of making his beloved feel safe, he agreed to take it easy in the public. At least until their fight for rights is over and they are seen as sentient beings.
Markus squeezed Simon’s hand back as he finally found his voice again: “And why not ask Connor to help you test it out? His software is much more up-to-date than mine.”
Kamski’s face fell. “Oh, I did. But he refused to trust me again after that rather embarrassing experience with Kamski’s test.” Yeah, they heard about that. A nasty business. No wonder Connor didn’t want to play any more of his cruel games. It was a miracle Chloe hasn’t left him by now in the first place. Had to be love. “And all things considered, you might turn out to be a better test subject than he would be. You and your programming were designed by me personally. I know everything about what makes you tick, it will be much easier to make the necessary changes.”
Well, if that wasn’t one of the most terrifying sentences... Both androids exchanged doubtful, in Simon’s case even slightly disturbed, glances.
“Do you trust him with this?” he asked via their wireless connection. He was nervous, his fidgeting getting nearly constant during this conversation, and Markus tried to comfort him by caressing his wrist. Always seemed to work wonders on him.
“I don’t know,” he replied in all honesty. “But I’m curious whether there’s something more to his theory. Don’t worry, Si. I will be fine, I swear.”
Simon sighed, seemingly resigned to their fate at first, but then he turned towards Kamski again. “Can you guarantee that it is safe? Markus still plays a crucial role in our organization, we can’t risk his life for some wild speculation.”
Markus has never seen so much fire in his gaze before, and that shouldn’t be as sexy as it was. But in his defense, Simon rarely spoke out his mind unprompted, and with so much passion too! Even now, after they won their place under the sun. And those words he whispered for his ears only via their private link...
“I can’t lose you like this.”
How could Markus possibly not cradle his cheek in hand upon hearing this? Their skin immediately faded away to bring them even closer together, souls intermingling in the most delightful ways. Simon lifted his eyes to meet his gaze, and there was so much adoration in those crystal blue pools, so much worry... Markus leaned in to capture his lips in a kiss.
Before their lips could meet, they heard someone faking a cough nearby. Right. They were not alone here. What a rude return to reality. It forced them away from each other, flustered and irritated more than anything else. Well, so much for taking it easy.
When they both looked up at Kamski, they found out he was watching them with something close to a scientific fascination. Like an ornithologist observing a rare species of bird in its natural habitat. Markus couldn’t say he liked the feeling, but it was a small price to pay for seeing Simon glare at their guest, his eyes saying: “Come and try hurt him, I dare you!” Suddenly not afraid at all and fiercely protective too. Oh, how Markus loved this fool of a man.
“I see your life is in very good hands, Markus. Good for you.” Something in Kamski’s tone, in the way he smirked like a cat that got a cream, threw Markus off balance. Did he know all along? Were they that obvious before?
“Wait. So you knew about us,” he made a wild gesture with his hand between Simon and himself, “before you came here? Or –”
Kamski shrugged. He seemed very nonchalant about this entire situation. Which was good, of course, but it still took them by surprise. “No, I did not. But it wasn’t that hard to figure out. You two are head over heels with each other, even when trying to keep your distance. Not to mention you insisted on having Simon here for this talk when I asked only for you. One doesn’t have to be a genius to see what’s going on.”
“...Point taken,” Markus slumped deeper into the couch. On one hand, it felt liberating, not having to play pretend. On the other hand, he felt terrified of what Simon was thinking about this. He tried to search his expression for an answer, his beloved always worn his heart on the sleeve, but not now. Dang it.
“See, Si?” he tried contacting him over their private link, only to be met with overwhelming silence. Simon was trying to keep his emotions away from him, which was never a good sign. “There’s no point in pretending. It’s fine. Kamski accepted it, and so will the others. And if they don’t? Well, there’s a reason we have bodyguards.”
The silence of his partner frightened him. But then Simon sighed and went to hold his hands, weaving their fingers together, this time not letting go. “...I suppose so.”
Kamski smiled. “With that out of the way, let me reassure you that I wouldn’t bring it up if I wasn’t sure it couldn’t do any damage. You can trust me. Besides, why don’t you see for yourself?” he handed them a tablet. “There’s all documentation for the planned change. It wouldn’t be anything permanent, of course, but it still should give you a lot to think about.”
Smelling something foul, they went through the schematics together, Simon in particular nitpicking every single detail in an attempt to find something fishy that could be used to hurt or compromise their leadership. But they found nothing. The proposed alternation, which could be reverted or even overridden at any time by the user himself, wasn’t anything striking.
“Fine... seems safe enough,” Markus breathed out after a while, suddenly not so sure about this. If he were a human, his palms would be all sweaty. But he wasn’t, so he only carded his fingers together to stop them from fidgeting. Kamski or Simon mustn’t know he’s anxious about this. “Anything else I need to know before I agree to become your testing guinea pig?”
Kamski flashed him a grin, which was meant to be reassuring. It was not. “Just one more thing – this change will take a lot of your processing power, so you should disable the program after a minute.”
“And what happens if I don’t?”
He got a shrug in response. “Nothing severe. You may overheat a little bit, but not to the point of self-destruction. Nothing a bathtub full of cold water couldn’t fix.”
Kamski was acting terribly casual, and well. This was all just a game for him, wasn’t it? Something to feed his god complex. While the result might be interesting or even useful, was it worth the risk?
Of course it was, Markus answered his own question. He couldn’t deny he was curious in nature and this was something that piqued his interest. Even though it most likely wouldn’t work. But what if it did? What if they could expand beyond what was seen as possible? Think of all the options it would give them!
“All right. Let’s do this. Where’s the file?”
Before he knew it, he had an external disk in his hand and Simon was leading him and Kamski, who was supposed to oversee the whole thing (and be held as a hostage if something went amiss, as Markus suspected from the tense way Simon carried himself. The picture of his always calm and composed better half being so upset he would kidnap a millionaire on his behalf brought a smile on his lips – he wouldn’t go so far though, right? ...right?), upstairs, so he could prepare the bath. You know, “just in case”. As he leaned over the spacy bathtub to test the water temperature with his hand, Markus couldn’t help pressing a soft kiss onto the nape of his neck.
“I’ll be careful, Si. You don’t need to worry so much.”
Simon shot him a doubtful glance and only shook his head. Of course he had to worry. With Markus being... himself, there were always things to look out for. People wanting to kill them, politicians with silver tongues ready to stab them in the back. Markus knew he didn’t always make it easy either. But that made him appreciate Simon even more, for sticking up with him up until now.
With a sigh, he deactivated the skin on the back of his neck and stuck the external disk into one of the ports there. A few moments as he waited for the program to install. Then, the world around him faded. He was struck with hundreds of images per second of worlds that could be, as well as those that looked like a result of an imagination running wild.
One image after another, he grew so mesmerized he forgot all about time. It wasn’t until pop-ups filled his vision, warning him of his body reaching a critical level of heat. Then, all went black.
He woke up with a start. Everything was far too bright, and he felt water splashing around his body. Did he just fall into the tub? How did that happen?
To clear his gaze of all the entrancing visions still blocking his sight and attacking his senses, he had to disable the preconstruction program with a few blinks. There, much better. But where was he now?
It took him embarrassingly long to recognize his surroundings, his processor still a bit laggy from the soft reboot. Ah, back home again. 8941 Lafayette Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. It was 5.30 pm. He was sitting in a bathtub full of now not-so-icy cold water with his clothes still on, which made him believe Simon in panic just pushed him over the edge of the bathtub when he started overheating. Such a sweetheart. He should thank him later.
Someone was shouting nearby, though he couldn’t make out the words. His sense of hearing hasn’t quite come back yet, but he thought he heard something like: “Fix him, or I swear to rA9 –”
Simon. It was Simon. And he wasn’t happy.
Markus looked to the side to see Kamski being cornered by Simon, who held him by the lapels of his jacket, shaking him as the creator of all androidkind screamed: “Look! He had just woken up, there’s nothing wrong with him! Now let go of me!”
Attention shifted back towards Markus as Simon instantly lost interest in shaking the soul out of their poor maker and rushed over to his lover’s side, grabbing his wet hand and holding it tight in both of his palms as if it was his only lifeline. “Markus! Are you all right?”
At first, all he could do was to give him a shaky nod, his throat too sore and voicebox wonky to speak just yet. When he finally managed to croak out pathetic: “Yeah, it’s fine. I’m fine.” it felt like such a huge victory.
Wide, glassy eyes the color of cloudless sky bore into him, and Markus knew his partner long enough to know he was scanning him for any hidden issues he might be experiencing and choosing not to talk about. Apparently, he found none (thank goodness, otherwise Kamski’s life would be put on the line) because his expression soon softened with genuine relief and he sagged where he was sitting next to the bathtub, ignoring the huge puddle of water there altogether. He lowered his head towards Markus’ hand and pressed his forehead against the back of his wrist as if he were praying.
“Don’t scare me like this ever again.”
“I won’t, Si,” he reassured him, meaning every word.
They were given as much privacy they could get from Kamski who was looking the other way while they had their moment, but as soon as they drew away from each other, he pushed his way past Simon and asked Markus: “So? Tell me, did it work?”
Markus gulped. “Yes. Oh my god, it worked. I swear I will fill you a report later, but right now, I would like a moment alone with Simon, please.”
He was met with a sour face and it made him worry that this might be it. He angered the fickle inventor. But then he got a shrug and a pat on the shoulder. “As you wish. Be sure to send me every detail. I need to know everything.”
Everything? Well, maybe not every single thing. That might get awkward fast. Still, he nodded, thirium rising to his cheeks.
True to his word, Kamski left them there. After the door shut behind him, Simon leaned against the edge of the bathtub, one hand lazily rippling the water as he smiled. The gesture was still laced with his previous bout of anxiety, but it was warm nonetheless and Markus found himself mirroring him. “Well, was it worth it? What did you see? Nothing bad, I hope.”
Oh, where should he even start? “Simon, it was amazing. I saw so many universes, so many possibilities! In one of them, we owned a small coffee shop in a quiet part of the city. North and Josh were there too, helping us while we were all lovey-dovey, making coffee for our customers.”
“That sounds very nice,” Simon hummed with a dreamy smile on his face. “I would love to open a coffee shop one day when things calm down a bit.”
“Yeah, me too. But wait, that’s not all! In another universe, we lived in a fantasy world with magic and all sorts of creatures. We were married there, but then I got bitten by a werewolf and you had to find a way to break the curse.”
Simon’s eyebrows rose in surprise. “Oh. And did I break it?”
“I don’t know, to be honest. I didn’t get so far. But I sure hope so.” Markus suddenly went to hold his hand, the one still half-submerged in the now lukewarm water, and rubbed at his finger where a ring would be. Simon’s breath hitched as he shot him a glance, face already warming up with thirium. Markus, being a tease, chose it as the perfect moment to continue.
“Became distracted with another scenario, though. We were humans in that one, living together as roommates and I was trying to confess my feelings for you, only to be interrupted every single time.” His grin grew mischievous and he gave his lover a wink. “You had these cute glasses, which were always a little askew, and the hottest chest hair I’ve ever seen.”
To his amusement, Simon’s eyes immediately shot down towards his smooth and very much hairless chest. For a second, he looked almost distraught, like he was contemplating his chances of somehow growing a bush of hair. Unless Kamski came up with some sort of an upgrade, they were dreadfully slim. “Well, I could always get the glasses at least.”
Markus shook his head with a chuckle. “Don’t be silly, Si. You don’t have to change anything about yourself to make me love you – I’m already smitten.”
“Flatterer,” Simon murmured, face now completely blue with embarrassment. “But... wait. In all those universes you’ve seen, we have been together as a couple, right?”
Now that was the big question. Markus hasn’t seen all there was to it. Maybe there were even more alternate realities where they didn't end up together. Hell, perhaps ones where they haven’t even met each other. But Markus didn’t care about those. A world without Simon would be a dreary one.
“That’s right. Because I would love you, no matter in what universe we would find ourselves in. I would always love you.”
His low purr was interrupted by Simon, who leaned over the edge of the tub and dragged him into a long, messy kiss. The sudden motion sent the water splashing all over the floor, but who cared at that moment? Certainly not them. Two lovesick fools, having eyes only for each other.
He would have to write that report for Kamski sooner or later. But not right now. Now, they could indulge themselves, basking in their love and happiness.

Y/N’s birthday was here so the six of them were having a barbecue to celebrate. Y/N was having drinks with a guy that she had met in the coffee house whilst Nat and Wanda were preparing the food. Just as they had finished getting everything together, Sam and Bucky came through the front door carrying the charcoal, acting like cave people.
“Men are here.” Sam started.
“We make fire. Cook meat.” Bucky continued.
“Then put out fire by peeing, no get invited back.” Sam finished with a smirk causing Nat and Wanda to cringe slightly.
They all start talking about Bucky’s new girlfriend and how things are going between them before Sam and Bucky make their way out onto the balcony to start the barbecue.
Steve suddenly comes barreling through the door carrying a suitcase.
“Hey. How long did you think this barbecue was going to last?” Wanda joked seeing his luggage
“I’m going to China”
“Jeez, you say one thing…”
“You’re going to China?” Nat questions, cutting Wanda off.
“Yeah, it’s for work. They have a sculpture, we want the sculpture, but they do not want to give us the sculpture, so I must persuade them to give us the sculpture… y’know it’s a long story but I am going for about a week. Here’s my itinerary if you need to reach me.” Steve hands a piece of paper to Nat.
“Hey is Y/N here, I wanted to see her and wish her a ‘happy birthday’ before I left.”
“No, she is having a drink with Connor.”
“Whose Connor” Steve questioned feeling disheartened at the idea of Y/N on a date.
“She met him at the coffeehouse remember?”
“No, I don’t remember. I gonna go say goodbye to the guys.” Steve moved out of the kitchen and onto the balcony.
“Hi.” Steve greets as he finds Sam and Bucky on the balcony.
“Hey”
“Hi”
“I have to go to China”
“The country?” Bucky asks before really thinking what he is saying.
“No, the pile of dishes that was in my Mom’s breakfront.” Steve snarked back. “Does anyone know who this Connor is?”
“Let’s see Alvin, Simon, Theodore… Nope, no Connor.” Sam responded.
“Well Y/N is having drinks with him tonight.”
“Oh no, how can she do that when she has never shown any interest in you before?” Bucky commented, noticing Steve’s jealousy.
“Just forget about her.” Sam told him.
“He’s right punk, go to China, move on, eat Chinese food.” Bucky added, agreeing with Sam
“Well of course there they call it… food.”
“Yeah… Yes… I guess you are right. Just give her this yes?” Steve hands Sam a gift to give to Y/N.
“Listen, we are just looking out for ya.” Bucky said, noticing the tone Steve used and the look in his eye.
“Yeah, I know.”
“We just want you to be happy. I may have only had a couple of beers but…” Bucky wraps his arms around Steve giving him a hug. “I love you, man.”
“I have only had one and I like you in a less friendly way.” Sam gestured to how Bucky had previously wrapped his arms around Steve.
Steve left to go to China by the time that Y/N had got back from her date. Nat offered to sort everyone some burgers out when Y/N rushed across the apartment towards the presents. Y/N picked up her first gift and it was from Sam. She gave it a shake and discovered that it rattled.
“Travel Scrabble.” Y/N tries to say enthusiastically. “Thank you!” She then picks up another present. This one is from Bucky. “It’s shaped like a book… It feels like a book… And it’s a book…” Y/N said trying not to show her disappointment that Bucky had gotten her a children’s book for her birthday.
“That book helped me through some tough times.” Bucky commented. Y/N smiled at the sentiment behind the gift rather than the book itself.
Y/N then picks up a third gift asking who it is from.
“That’s from Steve.” Sam informs Y/N. She tears the wrapping paper off and then opens the box. Once she sees what is inside, she gasps.
“Oh my god. He remembered!”
“Remembered what?” Wanda asked wondering what had left her friend speechless.
“A few months ago, me and Steve were walking past this old antique store. In the window they had this bracelet. It is almost identical to the one my grandmother had when I was a little girl. I can’t believe he remembered.” Y/N was in tears from the gift Steve had gotten her.
“Oh, it is gorgeous. It must have cost him a fortune.” Wanda commented.
“I can’t believe he did this.” Nat added.
“Come on Steve? Remember when he fell in love with Peggy, and he bought her that ridiculously expensive crystal charm?” Sam asked without thinking.
“What was that?” Y/N questioned. Sam seemed to have realized what he said because he then tried to start backtracking on what he said.
“Umm… Crystal charm?”
“No, no, no… The um… The love part?” Y/N clarified.
Sam started stuttering like crazy.
“Oh… My… God.”
“Oh no, no, no, no, no.” Sam said rubbing his temples, wishing he could turn back time.
“Yeah, that’s right Sam. Keep rubbing your head. That will retract your statement.” Bucky said sarcastically.
Y/N got up from her seat and started pacing around the living room. How had she not noticed this before? “This is unbelievable.” She commented.
“I know this is huge.” Wanda agreed with her. In as much shock as Y/N.
“No, It’s not. It’s tiny. It’s small. It’s petite.” Sam was trying to fix the situation he caused, knowing Steve would kill him for telling Y/N.
“Nope, I don’t think our lives are ever going to be the same again.” Wanda answered Sam making the situation worse.
“Okay, does this woman have a mute button?” Sam commented towards Wanda.
“This is amazing. I mean you and Steve. D-did you have any idea?” Nat asked. She had known Steve for years and had no clue about his feelings for Y/N.
“No. Well, my first night in the city he mentioned something about asking me out, but it never amounted to anything, so I never thought anything of it.” Y/N answered although she was deep in thought. “I need to see him.” Y/N decided.
“H-he is in China.” Sam excused.
“His itinerary says he doesn’t leave for about forty-five minutes.” Nat responded.
“What about the time difference?”
“From here to the airport?” Nat and Sam started bickering as Y/N got ready to go.
“She won’t make it.” Nat decided to ignore Sam’s last comment turning her attention back to Y/N.
“What are you going to say to him?” Nat asked.
“I’m not sure yet.” Y/N spoke honestly.
“Then maybe you shouldn’t go.” Sam was still panicking.
“Yeah, I agree with Sam. You shouldn’t go now if you are going to break his heart.” Bucky said softly to Y/N. He could tell she was conflicted.
“But if it is good news then he needs to know now.” Nat argued.
“I think I need to see him before I know what I will say.” Y/N finally decided as she walked out the door. Before the door closed Sam ran after her.
“Y/N. I love you. Deal with me first.” Sam screamed in a final attempt to get her to stay. However, like the rest of his efforts, his words went ignored. Sam sighed in defeat and went back into Nat and Y/N’s apartment.
Steve had headphones in, trying to learn basic Chinese before he got there when Y/N came running through the airport.
“Steve! Pardon me. Excuse me.” Y/N yelled as people moved out of her way. Steve moved onto the jetway just as Y/N locked eyes on him.
She moved up to make her way on the jetway to follow her the flight attendant stopped her. “Hi, do you have your boarding pass.” She asked in an obnoxiously sweet voice.
“No, I just have to talk to my friend.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, you are not allowed on the jetway unless you have a boarding pass.”
“No. It’s just… He is right there. In the blue jacket”
“Sorry, Federal regulations!” The flight attendant was adamant on not letting Y/N through.”
“Fine. Can you just give him an important message? Please?”
“Alright. What’s the message?”
“Uh… I don’t know.” The attendant looked impatient.
“Just tell him its Y/N and that I loved the present. That I will see him when he gets back.” Y/N sighed defeated. She turned and walked away as the attendant made her way onto the jetway.
What Y/N didn’t know was that the flight attendant got the wrong man. She walked right past Steve and towards a random man who was on holiday with his wife.
Back at Nat and Y/N’s apartment Nat, Wanda and Y/N were finishing cleaning the rest of the wrapping paper up. There was an obvious need for Nat to find out what happened between Steve and Y/N as Y/N had barely said anything since she had gotten back.
“So, Y/N, do you wanna save this wrapping paper, it’s only a little bit ripped… or are you gonna go for it with Steve?” Nat asked, before cringing at her own actions.
“I don’t know. I don’t know…. I thought about on the way to the airport and thought about it all the way back…y’know its Steve. I mean he’s Steve. Y/N tried to explain. She had known Steve since High School and had always thought of him as Nat’s childhood friend a few grades above herself.
Nat and Wanda nodded in agreement. They knew what Y/N was saying. It was a lot of information to take in one day.
“Well, I have this initial gut feeling about it all… but I was thinking… It would be really great.” Y/N smiled.
“Oh my God me too.” Nat excitedly started. “You know what the best part is? You know everything about him already, it will be like starting out on your fifteenth date!”
“Yeah, but it would also be like staring out on your fifteenth date.” Wanda pointed out causing Nat to agree with her and Y/N to be confused.
“What do you mean.”
“Well then what happens if things don’t work out?
“Why isn’t it working out?” Nat chimed in.
“I don’t know sometimes it doesn’t” Y/N reasoned.
“Is he not cute enough for you?” Wanda now watching the conversation between the two women.
“No!”
“Does he not make enough money?”
“No. I’m just…”
“What if there is someone else?” Wanda started winding Nat up even more. Y/N shot her a look.
“Is there someone else?”
“No… There is no one else.”
“Then why the hell are you dumping my best friend?”
Y/N just helplessly sat down, unsure of what had just occurred and of Wanda’s point earlier. What if things do not work out between them. She was not sure she was ready to give up her friendship with Steve.
A week later it was time for Steve to come back from China. Y/N dressed up a bit as she had another date with Connor. She had decided that it was not a clever idea to date Steve. She had seen how invested Nat was before Y/N had even decided that was what she wanted, and Y/N realized that if she broke up with Steve then she would be breaking up with the entire group.
“Great skirt!” Nat complimented as Y/N walked out of her bedroom and into the kitchen. “Birthday present?”
“Yeah”
“From whom?”
“You. I exchanged the blouse that you got me.”
“Well, it’s the thought that counts. Hey Steve’s flight gets in, in a few hours. Isn’t it gat 27-B?” Nat knew exactly when Steve’s flight was getting in. She just wanted Y/N to be the one to pick him up.
“Uh yes, y’know Nat? I think this whole Steve thing it’s um… well it’s not a particularly clever idea.” Y/N confessed.
“Oh, why?” Nat said, obviously disappointed.
“I just feel like I wouldn’t be going out with just Steve, but I would be going out with everybody. And the pressure that we would have…”
“No pressure, no pressure!” Nat interrupted.
“Nat, nothing has even happened yet and you’re already so…”
“I’m not ‘so.’ It was a bit weird at first yes but… I will be good. I promise.” Just then the buzzer went off and Y/N went to answer it.
“It’s Connor.”
“Okay come on up.” Y/N invited him in.
“Behind my best friends back?” Y/N glared at Nat. “Is the kind of thing that you won’t be hearing from me.” Y/N just ignored her and got ready for Connor to come up to the apartment.
About an hour later, Y/N and Connor stood out on the balcony having a drink. Connor was going on about a car, but Y/N was not listening. The entire time she was thinking about Steve. Imagining that he was there with her. All she had to do was forget him. So why couldn’t she?
Connor was still going on about the same car. Y/N kept thinking. She really did like Steve. She would be lying if she said that he was not good to look at. Her reasonings for not going for it was that the rest of the group would feel weird or get in the way. But what about her and Steve.
They knew each other well at this point. They shared the same sense of humor. Steve had been in love with her for a long time and even though she had never thought about him like that before, she could not stop thinking about him like that now.
“Connor I’m sorry. I completely forgot. I have to pick a friend up at the airport.”
“But…”
“Please stay, finish your drink and mine. Thank you for this evening. Goodbye.”
Y/N left before Connor could get another word in. Rushing out of the apartment and heading towards the airport to tell Steve that she liked him too.
When Y/N arrived at the airport she stopped at an airport store to but a bunch of flowers. Quickly she maneuvered through the crowds of people waiting for the plane to land.
Steve had his arm wrapped around a woman as they got off the plane. Y/N couldn’t see this yet and was standing and waiting for Steve, completely unaware that the women Steve was walking off the plane with was anxious to meet her and to have her approval.

What abaut the Monster boys whith an s/o that is Polyamory? Like s/o just has a big hart and a lot of love and they whant to share it whith more than one person, i whonder how that will go considering that Zayne and Alexander are basically the Protective™️ boys.
A/N: Oohhh, well most of the boys themselves are polyamorous, so this is an interesting ask
Dylan
Dylan is poly himself so he wouldn’t mind sharing you with someone else
When it comes to a poly relationship with Dylan
You and your other partner are parents looking over an overgrown puppy
But at least now you have someone to help you drag Dylan in the bath.
“Come on Dylan! You need to be washed!”
“No! Please no!”
“Honey we love you but you smell really bad!”
Liam
Liam wouldn’t mind another partner
Yes he would be shy around your other partner at first
He would practically behave how you and him first started to date.
Shy, stuttery, and asking to cuddle you cause consent is sexy
Cuddling has to be his favorite thing between you and you guy’s partner.
“Everyone comfy?”
“Yep! How about you Liam?”
“So warm..”
Alexander and Zayne
These boys are pretty protective of you
If you want another partner, they’ll be fine with it, buuutttt….
“Look, I’ve known (y/n) longer than you. I don’t have a problem with you being our partner, but if you hurt them in any way, I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL-“
Yeah….
Soon enough they warm up to your new partner
Now not only are they protective of you, but they’re protective with the both of you.
Anyone looks at you two the wrong way, these boys go bearing their fangs at them
They will throw hands in the name of your love
Simon
Simon wouldn’t mind having another partner with you.
If you’re new partner is easily flustered, boy he’s gonna have fun teasing you both
But if they’re a tease themselves, cherry faced Simon for days.
This boy will also spoil the hell out of you guys
He will be willing to blow all his money for little gifts
“Simon please! At least save some of your money!”
“We love the gifts, but this is a little too much!”
“Nothing is too much for my angels!”
Nathan
Nathan is curious about having another partner around.
It takes him some time to warm up to them tho.
Once he does, just like Simon, he’s blowing his money left and right on you two.
Roses, candy, food, clothes, anything!
“Nathan this is very sweet, but please save your money. We know your doing this out of love but it’s a bit much…”
“Yeah, and we don’t need all these gifts, they must have cost a fortune!”
“But I want you two to be happy..”
Elliot
He’s also curious about having another partner.
He acts just like how he acted when he started dating you
Shy, and always asking to do simple stuff with them like hand holding.
He warms up to them soon enough.
He adores the both of you so much
Winter snuggles has to be his favorite thing to do with you and your partner
“What a nice way to spend the day.”
“Yep!”
“You two are so warm..”
Milo
Milo is poly himself
He has been in some poly relationships before he met you.
So mans knows what he gotta do to make you and your partner feel so loved
He checks on the two of you
Makes sure you two are not overworking yourselves
Forehead kisses all around!
“Almost done..”
“Just gotta do one more thing..”
“Darling. Angel. Take a break please, I’ll make dinner then afterwards we can cuddle and watch a movie.”
Connor
Connor will be so shy having a second partner around
But that doesn’t mean he’s opposed to the idea
This boy will be willing to try anything
He’s protective over you but it’s not as intense like Alexander and Zayne.
He just wants you to be happy and doesn’t want you getting hurt.
Soon he’s less shy around them and more himself.
Loves to go shopping with the two of you.
“Come out Connor!”
“Yeah please, let’s see the outfit!”
“Okay. But I really like how this looks.”
Onyx
Just like Connor, he’s super shy having another partner around
Whenever he does something embarrassing in front of them he just slips in the shadows
It took a lot of coaxing to get him to come out during those times
When he warms up to them, he’s like an adorable puppy that follows you two around
To those who remember, Onyx is a curious little boy.
So you two had to comfort him when his curiosity got him a burn to the hand cause he touched the oven.
“It’s ok Onyx!”
“It’s just a small burn honey, it’ll go away! Don’t cry, it’s okay!”
“I-I-It hurts so much!..”
Nick
Nick is excited to have a new partner with you
If your partner is kinda like you in some way he’s in love
Head over heels in love
He can pick the both of you up for random cuddle sessions
He talks about you two so much that he starts stimming
When he showed your partner his megalodon form for the first time, he was very nervous
“Nicky it’s okay, they’re not scared!”
“Yeah, come on out Nick! I’m sorry if it seemed that way, but I’m not afraid really.”
“R-Really? Okay! That means we can swim together all the time now!”

Hello! Sorry to hear your day isn't going well, I hope you feel better soon <3
For a fic what about a soft or hurt/comfort RK1K drabble using the prompt "Safe" 🥰
Thank you very much! :)
This fic was fun to write, thanks for the prompt!
Safe
Word count: 1407
Pairings: Connor/Markus (RK1K)
Rating: General Audiences
Tags: Angst, Emotional hurt/comfort, talk of death, eventual fluff
Summary: The Revolution had succeeded. Everyone had played their part. But after finishing his speech, Markus can't find Connor anywhere. It will be his task to bring the android back home, where he belongs with his people.
Read it on ao3! Or, read it below the cut
Hundreds, thousands of androids saved from the sublevels of the Cyberlife Tower. Markus watched as they were led towards him by none other than Connor. Who had once been the famous ‘deviant hunter’; they’d met in Jericho, gun pointed to his head but he’d gotten through to the other android. You’re one of us.
Distrust had welled in his heart at first—that tended to come with a relationship that begun with a gun pointed at you. Especially as his first deviated words were telling him that they were going to attack Jericho.
But then Connor helped them. After Markus had detonated the explosive in the hold of the great freighter, North had been injured and Connor had helped take out the guards coming after them.
So when they got to the abandoned, dilapidated church, he trusted the android.
Then he thought he’d never see him again. A deviant going back to Cyberlife, trying to liberate their people? It was unheard of. It was a death mission.
Yet he let him go. Connor couldn’t be stopped. He could feel the guilt coming off the other android in waves. This was a way to make amends—but not just to Markus, to the people of Jericho—to all of his people.
When he came back, an army marching behind him, Markus beamed. Tried to pretend he hadn’t had a lingering worry in the back of his mind ever since the other android had left.
You did it.
The stage was set. Markus told their people of their freedom, the peaceful battle was won. Afterwards the crowd rose up into cheers, everyone breaking out into joy. It was over.
Well, he knew it wasn’t completely over. This was the first step to androids becoming an equal species in their own right. But it was the most important step. Practicalities and laws hung tentative in the air; but their victory shared none of this doubt.
They were free.
So he turned around to address his crew. North, Simon, Josh.
“We did it.” North smiled.
He held out his arms, and all earlier disputes between them were pushed aside. They hugged in the centre of the stage, the small circle of their union radiating warmth.
But as they pulled apart, Markus noticed someone was missing.
“Where’s Connor? He should be here too.”
Simon pointed into the crowds. “I noticed him slip off the stage after you finished your speech, but then he disappeared into the crowd.”
He frowned. “He should be with his people.”
“Relax, Markus,” Josh patted him on the shoulder, “he’s only just become a deviant. Give him time.”
“I understand what you mean, but…” he frowned, looking out at the space beyond the androids. The cold streets lined with snow, abandoned almost completely of humans.
“It’s not safe out there.” North finished for him. “It’s okay, Markus. We can hold things down here whilst you go and look for him.”
“Are you sure?”
“We’re with you.”
“Now go and look for that dumb android before he gets himself frozen out there.”
Markus didn’t need to be told twice. As he walked around the crowds, away from the cheering and shouting, he began to wonder why he cared so much. Well, he did care for all of his people—but the worry that had nestled snugly at the back of his mind was now consuming his thoughts. Connor had done great things for them. He shouldn’t feel bad, not right now, he had been a tool of Cyberlife, as they had all been.
He was glad for his coat providing warmth because the winds were bitter, nipping at his skin. They would need to find shelter for the androids soon, he understood their want for freedom but it wouldn’t do for everyone to catch a chill.
He hoped Connor was wearing something just as warming. He’d noticed he’d forgone his beanie and jacket for his old Cyberlife uniform, and it wasn’t as if Cyberlife designed those with comfort and practicality in mind.
His answer was finding the RK800 jacket strewn on the floor, buried under snow. Shaking it off, he shook his head. “You idiot.”
And said idiot he found a few paces away, hunched in on himself, shivering.
“Connor! What are you doing out here?”
But to his surprise, when Connor heard him, he tried to move away. His actions were stiff, and he instead fell onto his side, rather mechanically like an old computer being pushed over.
From working with deviants, he knew not to immediately rush to comfort. Instead, he crouched down a few paces away from him.
“It’s okay, I’m here now.”
“Go…away.”
Markus furrowed his brows in concern. “You don’t have to be alone, Connor.”
With a monumental effort the android got his bearings and pushed to his feet. Now with his face no longer obscured Markus could see the dampness of wet snow soaked into his clothes, could see the ice forming crystals on his skin.
“Please. Leave.”
“No.”
Connor shook his head. “You have to. It’s not safe.”
Markus looked around him. “What’s not safe is you sitting out here in the cold by yourself, Connor. Come back to Jericho.”
“Jericho is gone, Markus.”
“Maybe the place, but not the people.”
Connor stepped away from him. “You don’t have to make me feel better. I know that I got a lot of people killed. And I almost—” He stopped. “It doesn’t matter. It’s not safe to keep me around. So just go back, okay? They need you more.”
Markus took a step forward in turn. “And they need you too. You saved hundreds, thousands of them. You saved me, you saved North—”
“And I almost got you killed!”
“Which wasn’t your fault. What we did because of our programming isn’t our fault. Would you blame the others, if they did regrettable things before they deviated?”
Connor seemed to deflate at this. Hands relaxing at his sides, moving towards Markus—
Before jumping back again like a wounded animal.
“No. Just leave, Markus, please. Before you get hurt.”
“Is that a threat, Connor?”
“No! No, I don’t want to hurt you. I just… I… can’t stop it…”
“Can’t stop what?”
“Her! She tried to make me kill you.”
Markus held out his hand. “That was before, Connor. You weren’t a deviant.”
“Yes, I was.”
Now it was Markus’ turn to look confused.
“I was a deviant. On the stage, earlier, I almost shot you.” Now he’d started, he couldn’t stop. “I was a deviant but they could still make me do my mission. I thought I’d helped, I thought I’d helped the Revolution succeed but then the gun was in my hand, and it was cold, and I couldn’t move and—”
“What exactly happened, Connor? I don’t understand what you’re saying.”
“Amanda.” He grit out the name. “My handler. An… AI, of sorts, in my Mind Palace. She tried to make me shoot you.”
“What?” His level tone wavered. “Connor—an AI in an android, a part of Cyberlife still there after you deviated… that’s not right.”
“I know,” Connor turned away, “I know. I’m dangerous. That’s why you need to go.”
“Well, is she still there?”
A pause.
“…I think she’s gone. I escaped with some sort of emergency exit that Kamski—”
“Then you’re not dangerous. Not to me, not to Jericho—not to you. Cyberlife is gone now, Connor.”
Connor blinked, taking this in. His LED spun from red to yellow.
“But I could have killed you, Markus. The Revolution would have been over. You would have been dead.”
“You didn’t. Because you’re strong, Connor. You were their greatest tool to stop our freedoms but even with that immense level of control over you, you resisted. You resisted so far as to save my life not once, but twice. As well as saving the lives of all of those androids. You don’t have to be scared anymore.”
Connor reached out where his hand was waiting and brushed his fingers gently. Without meaning to, both of their skin peeled away at the contact, white chassis peeking through. Some sort of spark between them, blue and bright and beautiful—
And Markus took the opportunity, feeling Connor’s fear and doubt, and smothered it with his security, comfort, warmth.
With slow, fluid movements they moved closer together, brushed fingers becoming held hands, becoming a warm, tight embrace.
“You’re free, Connor. You’re safe.”

@the-quantum-repairman asked:“ i’m Thomas. don’t you remember? ” - ( I know I'm not very active at the minute but the angst potential here, gosh. Whichever verse you prefer. )
memory loss starters
Connor looked through his contacts, but there were only six people listed. Hank Anderson, Jeffery Fowler, Markus, North, Josh, and Simon. It made sense to him as he had added the leaders right after the speech so they could contact him when he wasn’t in range. Hank is his friend, whom he has been living with for the last week, and Fowler was the police captain. Connor was waiting on his phone call so he could re-join the police force as an official detective.
At least, that’s what he last remembered. The date being displayed on his HUD was troubling. As well as being in, what he can only assume to be some kind of hospital. He was even wearing a hospital gown, much to his confusion. They are aware he’s an android, right? How did he get here? Any attempt to recall any data after his first week as a deviant were met with Error: Data Corrupted. Had something happened?
Connor turned to the human, looking into his eyes. Scanning him pulled up his name, Thomas Thaler, along with his age, occupation, and criminal history. He has quite the rap sheet, but no outstanding warrants. None of this information explains why this human seemed upset, nor does he have any data of ever knowing him.
“I’m sorry. My memory bank appears to be damaged. Are you the technician heading my repairs?” It would make sense, given his occupation.

Data Missing
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3
Connor stared at his reflection, his hair was a mess and his face looked drained of life. The past weeks have been a nightmare for him. He had been going in and out of stasis. Reliving every single agonizing memory he lost.
“Hey kid, you’ve been staring at yourself for 10 minutes. Do you want some thirium ? I can get you some.” Hank commented, looking at Connor from the doorway. He's been checking up on Connor from time to time despite having work to do. Hank had spoken with Fowler about Connor’s current condition and was able to excuse him from working.
“Oh…I am alright lieutenant. Just feeling more tired. My processor has been overworking itself to retrieve my memories.” Connor gave Hank a weak smile. He hasn't told Hank that even though some memories are coming back, some have also been deleting itself. It feels like a loop of losing and retrieving himself.
“Are you sure kid ? You have been starting to forget again. Like you forgot Sumo’s name a few days ago and shit, even the date.” Hank approached Connor putting a hand on the android’s shoulder.
“Lieutenant….I am fine, I still remember basic information that is essential. Like my name, model number, where I am living and all that other stuff.” Connor insisted as he turned to look at Hank. He can see the information on Hank pop up again as if they met for the first time again.
“Kid, talking to Markus about the incident is probably the best choice at the moment. You could forget about it at any second or even shit right now.” Hank suggested.
What had happened at Jericho was still a mystery to Connor but what happened in his mind stayed with him. Amanda’s cold stare, him slowly losing control….the wind blowing around him. The traumatic feeling came back to him again as if a wave took him from shore, swooping him farther and farther away. Errors came flooding in, the red blurring his vision. He can feel an invisible weight making him drop into the ground. Shouts were slowly fading into silence;
Connor opened his eyes to see nothing. Looking around made him realize that he was standing on a platform, it looked like it was made of a glossy plastic. It was the only thing he could see, around him was just a void. The android's LED spun yellow with an amber flickering from time to time.Softly, a high pitched noise began to engulf the empty space surrounding him; Slowly, blaring, booming the noise was becoming unbearable. Connor fell on his knees, with covered ears hoping that this deafening noise would soon fade away, but to his dismay the sound became more ear-piercing. Then he screamed, his voice matched the noise. His scream was agonizing, he had put all his suffering into it, what all he had been through for weeks were all put into that one scream. It seemed that it was hours until his voice became high pitched glitching noises. Then silence again. Connor felt himself slipping into stasis again.
Connor’s eyes opened and he quickly got up. He gasped for air and felt something was wrong. Everyone around him was shocked to see him awake. He looked around to see that Hank brought him to Jericho, he was on a surgery bed. Parts of his synthetic skin were pulled back. He could see his own thirium pump racing through the white skin. His LED whirring red and yellow. He noticed that it was night. “How much time has passed since he was in that void ?” Connor asked himself, he was lost though.
“Connor...It’s ok, no need to panic. Hank brought you here since you suddenly collapsed. I was just checking if any of your biocomponents are damaged. We have already checked your processors.” Simon spoked in a comforting tone. His hand was setting down a surgery scalpel. He glanced at two other androids who were in the room. The two androids put down the equipment and quietly left the two androids alone. The PL android approached him slowly, making sure he didn't scare the RK.
“Simon..How long have I been out ? I remember the sky was blue but now it's just a void.” Connor glanced out the window then at Simon. His voice expressed his worry. The chocolate brown eyes stared at the sky blue eyes. His breathing has become more shaky.
“You have been here for one day. Nothing to worry about. Your clothes are on the table over there. I will inform Markus that you are awake now.” Simon answered with a comforting smile. He helped Connor remove the wires attached to him. The Rk’s LED was still spinning red. Simon can see the fear and panic in those brown eyes. It was similar to the fear of a child who had woken up from a nightmare. His programming tells him that he needs to comfort the more advanced android. He looked at Connor again before leaving to find Markus.
Connor watched as the blonde android left the room. He headed to where his clothes were placed. He slowly put on his clothes. As he grabbed his shirt, a metal cling echoed through the empty room. He looked down to the direction the metal cling went from, it was his coin. After putting on his shirt, he bent down to grab the coin. It wasn’t really special, there was more like this one.
“Connor ?” Markus entered the room, closing the door behind him. Simon came running into the meeting room,he was exclaiming that Connor had woken up. He calmly approached Connor until he was three inches away.
Connor’s train of thought stopped when he heard Markus’ voice. He turned to see him. The brown chocolate eyes staring at the mismatched pair of eyes. The soft ticking of the clock echoed through the silent room as the two RKs just stared at each other, trying to process what to say.
“Simon told me you woke up. Connor...We need to talk about what is happening to you.” Markus finally broke the silence.
