I wanna preface all this with, if I sound frustrated here, it's not because of you or anything you've written. 100% of my disgust rests on the situation and on D themself.

Short version: they were obnoxious, they got a warning, they continued to be obnoxious, they got upset and left, and they got banned so they couldn't come back...and then they got incredibly fucking butthurt about it and pedojacketed our admin and three other people who had dared be polite and then disagree with them.

Long version below the cut. This is STILL as short as I could make it.

First of all, here is a link to a folder with screenshots in a PowerPoint of all the interactions D had with the people they accused originally. The folder also contains a document D wrote with the "proof" of their abuse in our server, which I have annotated to add context. I have also included a link to the transcript of the ticket the mods opened to privately address D's behavior with them.

Filthy is likely not going to weigh in on this personally, as the whole thing is still extremely anxiety-inducing for him, but I've known him for something like 12 years and have been dating him for more than 2. He is not a damned groomer. He worked really, REALLY hard and was deliberately careful to create a server that would be as safe as possible for people of all ages, because he was groomed and hurt as a teen and he is not fucking interested in letting that happen to anyone else on his watch. It is incredibly disheartening to have this lying little weasel screaming they were abused and groomed and it's a horrible server run by toxic pedos, blah blah. We take safety extremely seriously! We are very firm about keeping NSFW stuff away from our minors, and we have enough adult-only channels that adults don't have to post in minor-friendly spaces at all if they don't want to. Mistakes are really rare. I honestly can't remember if anyone has posted anything overtly nsfw in a sfw channel...the most "exciting" thing I can think of was some fanart of a character wearing silly underpants, and that's not NSFW lol, I'm sorry. Everything posted to SFW channels is stuff you might see on public access TV.

I'm not sure what exactly D told you all about their time with us. They were in Evil Lair for, I think, three weeks? And their barrage of harassment went on for MONTHS, literally JUST because (1) an adult who didn't want to be friends with them was polite to them a couple of times anyway, and (2) D was butthurt about being banned from the server (and about realizing someone who was nice to them out of basic decency didn't actually like them). I wish I was exaggerating! But that was seriously it, and they screamed on Twitter, they screamed on Tumblr, they sent friends into the server under false pretenses to gather "proof" (there is no proof, because nothing goddamn happened), they sent friends to harass one of the mods in DMs. One of their friends came in and harassed one of the other victims. They even made a parody OC of Filthy and drew him being sexually creepy. It was Fucked. Up. And this was AFTER they flat-out admitted the "grooming" was neither sexual nor romantic:

Platonic grooming is not a real thing.

D left the server because they didn't like being told to block people and filter tags to keep themself safe on 17+rated apps. D left, and Filthy banned them so we could take a fucking break, because us mods were exhausted from dealing with them. We try HARD to keep the server friendly and welcoming, and D made it difficult for us every goddamn day. 'Megamind' is a movie that attracts a lot of people who have been bullied and socially traumatized for harmlessly liking "weird" stuff or for being "weird" themselves in some way, and the server had been getting noticeably quieter as D slowly revealed themself to be deeply judgmental and unsafe to share things with.

(In retrospect, we probably should have just said "If you think someone here is honestly a threat, open a ticket and speak to the mods so we can evaluate. Otherwise, either block who you need to block and move on, or get the fuck out." But they hadn't seemed malicious yet; they honestly seemed happy to be there and eager to make friends. We didn't actually want to ban them, or we would have done it way sooner.)

Anyway, you mentioned D putting up a facade before revealing themself, and I think that's exactly what happened with us as well. They didn't have stories about "grooming," but they were on their best behavior for a while as they tried to figure out whether we would support them. From what you've said, it sounds like D has now figured out how to win sympathy by crying about being groomed, and is using that to make people care about them? Fucking disgusting, if so. I don't blame you at all for believing them, to be clear - I would have, too. But holy fucking shit. I fully believe SOMEONE hurt this kid, and I understand they need help, but that doesn't change the fact that they are the most terminally online, virulently toxic talking anus I've ever had the misfortune to interact with. I am so, so sorry y'all have run afoul of this person. All I can say is, block, ban, find a good support system to bitch with, and resist the urge to check their Twitter. My sympathies.

Guys, I fell into the D*psy Rabbit hole after seeing big blowout she made in my gf's server and this post, and it got me thinking, who else was harassed by this kid? I want to see the "abuser" point of view because she did talk about Filthy in her previous joining of the RGTK server being her groomer (we didn't know at the time that it was false) and I finally saw Filthy's POV of it, which I am very sorry of what she done to you.

So it's understandable if you guys don't want to talk about it publicly. In the DMs would be fine because after seeing the context from the Megamind fandom, I started to think that there were other fandoms she put up a facade for before showing her true colors.

This isn't a hate post, I'm just curious about how others were around her. I would blame those drama vids to get me climbing down this D*psy Rabbit hole.

that girl Daisey thats “messaged” Aries about how she knows 7 girls personally who have stories about him (ohh yeah where they at daisey??) and how she used to the that minor that Percy groomed and she knows that her ex gf would get anxious when Percy would text her and bla bla bla. And how she knew he was known to be a sexual predator, there was a list in 2020 with his name on it, and thats why she stayed away from him. Well in 2020 this Daisey girl was tweeting funny responses and heart eye emojis at his impercenator account, the one he deleted…. Some sexual predator she was scared off ehh? Of course since being called out, daisey has deleted those replies to percy! Tani has a thread on this on twitter.

So these people knew. They knew that was his account so they used it agaisnt him. Thats why everything leaked so fast. You think Shep had the time in just a couple of hours to go and find all that amount of digital footprint? Nahh they knew before. And they had all of that since before because im telling you this was planned by a group of people.

and since a lot of these girls have gone quiet and so has Shep, im starting to think Shep is one of them or a friend of theirs.

but anyways, my conclusion : account was his. And he did like some weird things on there but a lot of them was from when he has in his toxic teenage phase. And a lot of it was stupid edgy humour. Remember the James Gunn tweets fiasco? Same energy, but a little less intense imo.

I understand that you are certain on this, but I am still of the opinion that all the evidence you just shared is not evidence enough for me to be certain it was him. It's all muddled up, and honestly... who the hell is Daisey? For all we know, Miss Shitshow made her up and it was herself tweeting something to the account. It still is nothing we can verify, so I am sticking to my initial stand on this, that unless either police forensics or Percy himself admits it's his, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

It's honestly not something that I think about, or that I think that should be taken in consideration, because it's too muddled up. And comparing his tweets to James Gunn tweets fiasco is a bit strong to my taste. But that's me.

What are your interests/hobbies?

I tend to switch hobbies often bc I operate on a "if I'm not perfect at it immediately I should stop trying" conviction but I tried drawing, crocheting, collage making and web design. Even though I myself am shit at most things creative I'm very good at seeing mistakes in other people's work. Regarding interests, I'm into psychology (it's my uni major), philosophy and history. I love long video essays about an obscure topic, I love learning in general but more in a sense of being smarter than others and making knowledge about a topic part of my personality. I like video games but I play like three games on repeat for 20 years I have 5k hours in skyrim since 2011. I'm also into religion/mythology, spirituality and tarot cards but I don't really believe in all that, it's just interesting from a psychological and historical viewpoint.

How do you see yourself?

I'm unsure who "myself" even is, I made a list of my personality traits once (one of them was "lesbian" so that's a personality trait ig) and that didn't help much. I'm a social chameleon, able to be whatever people want me to be, but I do hold strong beliefs and morals and judge others harshly, just sometimes without showing it. My beliefs are mostly black and white in nature, I'm annoyed at people who are trying to stay in the middle and don't have strong opinions bc goddamn I'm ready to die on any hill. I'm intelligent, aggressive and emotional, but cooperative and friendly if I like people, I like to be important but only in a positive sense. I'm also pretty hypocritical bc of the social chameleon thing.

How do you think others see you?

Almost all of my friends were scared to interact with me at first, so it's either a scary bitch who criticized people for breathing or a contemptuous bitch who thinks she's better than everyone. It used to upset me, I don't think I'm scary or arrogant, but at this point I made peace with it and leant into a proud hater persona more. My gf says that I'm really lovely and kind and helpful (but still a little arrogant) and her opinion is the only thing that matters. And a lot of people think I'm smarter than I am.

How do you interact with your friends?

Jokey bullying but sometimes jokes get away from me and I'm unintentionally crossing a line, that was a point of a lot of arguments, I can be real hurtful at times. When people hurt me unintentionally I throw a fit, which illustrates the hypocrisy I brought up earlier. To make up for being terrible I do acts of service, if my friends need literally anything I'll get it for them. I try to help mentally as well but I offer solutions instead of empathy and that's not what people want usually.

What’s important to you?

I have beef with the concept of fate, I hate predisposition and the idea that our narratives are already written, fatalism is my number one enemy, the whole shebang with Mind and consequences of our choices is my number two enemy, I can do whatever I want. I have a lot of feminism based morals and a lot of opinions about politics. My solutions are extreme but I'm sure they'll work. Murder is okay in self-defense type beat. I cherish my friends a lot and feel horrible if I hurt them. I have a lot of trinkets that bring me memories, they are mostly useless but they are important to me and my memory issues.

Describe the ideal you, what kind of person do you strive to be?

I wish to know myself fully and simultaneously know everything else ever. I think people scared of too much knowledge are cowards. And the ideal me would be a lot less aggressive and anxious all the time, I think mental health issues are really holding me back.

Okay so like imagine since in this particular AU Yancy was raised by Dark right? So that would mean that he never went to prison and grew up with the other egos came in. Now Dark had this rule when it came to Yancy growing up, education first, relationships later. It also didn’t help that Yancy’s parents relationship wasn’t the best example for him either. So Yancy just stuck to his own self gaining a few friends along the way but never had a gf or bf. He did have a few crushes here and there but they never lasted. When he graduated college a few years later, there were times when he was affiliated with people but they never really turned into something more. Now imagine Yancy is sitting on the couch scrolling through shows when a knock sounded at the door. He got up, stretched, and walked to the door. Once he opened it, his jaw DROPPED. The hottest guy he has ever seen in his life is standing right in front of him looking like a character from Jumanji. Hazel green eyes, light brown hair, pink soft looking lips that made him want to kiss them, jaw line chiseled just right, and if Yancy could take off this man’s clothes right there, he bet he would find a strong lean body. “Well, hi there, handsome. Wasn’t expecting a fine piece of treasure like yourself to open this door. The names Illinois. It’s a pleasure to meet me.” Illinois grinned, showing off his pearly white teeth. You can come in.” Illinois grabbed his things and went in, immediately looking around in astonishment of the manor. Dark motioned for him to continue up the stairs to the second floor. They stopped at a door that Yancy quickly noticed was right next to his room. “This will be your room from now on. Any changes or requests that you would like regarding it, you can ask me later when the others have been introduced to you. Until then, Yancy here, will show you around the manor if you’d like. Farewell.” Dark said. Yancy jumped at them mention of his name. As Dark was leaving, he made sure to look back a little before he went back downstairs unbeknownst of the dilemma he brought on Yancy. “Yancy, huh? That’s a pretty unique name ya got there.”, Illinois said. Yancy looked towards Illinois shyly, “uhh yeah, I guess it is a rare name. Well ummm, I guess I’ll leave you to get settled in. You can knock on my door,” he pointed at the door next to them, “when your ready. It’s nice to meet you.” He blushed. Illinois nodded and went into his room. As soon as the door closed, Yancy quickly ran to his room making sure to lock his door. He jumped onto his bed and grabbed his pillow, putting it against his face and screamed into it while wriggling around. He slid the pillow down enough to stare at the ceiling and groaned loudly as he recalled his what just happened, could he be any more embarrassing?!

Summary: A new discovery about Revali leaves you distraught and confused, your feelings toying with you and influencing your behavior in the worst ways.

Notes: Angst

The day was as good as it could be. The sky was clear, the air was just the right temperature and the pleasant aroma of the spruces surrounding the village pleasantly tingled in your nostrils as you made your way up the wooden stairs. The princess had kindly asked you to visit the village, wanting to make sure each Divine Beast was functioning properly and you accepted her request, though a bit reluctantly.

The village itself was among the most stunning places in the Kingdom, that wasn’t the issue. Rather, a certain someone had always stuck out to you in a troublesome way. Those emerald eyes mockingly staring at you, those wings that so gracefully carried him through the air, and that irritating and condescending tone in his voice, all that annoyed you to no end, yet you found yourself at the village time and time again and the more time you spent in his line of vision, the less irritating he seemed to become.

At first, you couldn’t stand him and his arrogance. No matter what he did or said he managed to somehow anger you, but over time, you learned to filter his words, and more recently, you found yourself rolling your eyes at him, unbothered by his constant ramblings about himself. And you didn’t know why. Perhaps you had simply gotten used to his demeanor, but there had to be something more as every time your gaze fell upon him, you felt strange, nervous even.

You went through these thoughts as you made your way to his landing, expecting to see him there as the day would soon turn to the night and despite his passion for archery, even he knew when to rest. You caught a glimpse of those navy feathers and lifted your gaze towards him, witnessing his landing, graceful as ever. The previous thoughts faded away and a small smile crept onto your face as you picked up your pace, Revali quickly noticing your presence.

“Here once again? Let me guess, the Princess sent you,” He said, that familiar tone present in his voice, though it hadn’t vexed you in a long time. You briefly laughed at his guess that had hit the bullseye and rolled your eyes playfully.

“Yep.” You stopped in front of him. “So, anything to report?” These visits had become quite frequent over the past few weeks due to Zelda’s understandable paranoia towards the Calamity, and though you despised them initially, you soon found out that they weren’t as burdensome and tiring as you thought.

Revali brought his wing to his chin and appeared to be in thought, though you both already knew the answer. The Rito was skilled and had no doubt forged a strong bond with his Divine Beast so he facing any issues with it was very unlikely. His eyes then locked onto you, the tiniest smirk tugging one side of his beak.

“Everything is in working order. You and the Princess have absolutely nothing to worry about.” His answer didn’t surprise you in the slightest and upon hearing it, you merely sighed lightly.

“That’s good. I’ll let her know that there are no abnormalities regarding Medoh.”

You immediately glance at the beast that still roamed around the sky thanks to the impressive technology it was fueled by. It never ceased to amaze you. Your (E/C) eyes then moved to him, the mere sight of him making you experience that bizarre feeling you couldn’t describe once again. Despite his ego that was bigger than the entirety of the kingdom itself, he had worked incredibly hard for his achievements and if you were truly honest with yourself, he had every right to be as cocky as he was.

“I’ll do that. Now the-”

“And what of you? The Princess also wishes to know of everyone’s condition. Just in case.”

It was a lie. However, you couldn’t bring yourself to ask about his well-being on your own. He’d never stop taunting you about it. Revali raised his brow slightly and crossed his wings, that prideful aura still emitting from him.

“You can let her know that I am indeed in fine condition.” You lightly smiled at that, delighted to hear that he at least externally was doing fine.

“Revali!”

Both of you turned towards the unknown voice and you saw an unknown female Rito approaching you, her gaze firmly glued on Revali. Your brows frowned in confusion at the sight of the teal-colored Rito who got closer, her amber eyes glowing in excitement.

You were about to say something but when the girl threw her wings around Revali’s torso catching you and him both completely off guard, a wave of shock and confusion hit you like a bomb arrow.

“Nika! What do you think you’re doing?!” Revali asked, completely surprised at the female’s action, a rare expression of embarrassment plastered across his face as she hugged him. The only thing you could do was stare at them, completely and utterly speechless at the sight.

Who was she?!

“Oh, sorry!” She quickly pulled away, allowing the flustered navy blue Rito to take a deep breath and internally deal with the heavy blow to his ego.

“I forgot that you don’t like it when I hug you like that in public.” Nika giggled slightly, the sight of Revali’s feathers puffed up greatly amusing her but only filling you with more bafflement. Nika quickly turned her eyes towards you.

“Oh, who’s this?” She asked, more so from Revali than you. After regaining his composure that was so easily broken, Revali turned to look at you once more.

“Oh, I see!” She stepped forward and extended her wing, which you slowly shook, dying to hear her introduction but also dreading it.

“This is (Name). An acquaintance of mine.” The word he used, ‘acquaintance’, it didn’t feel right.

“She’s an accomplished researcher, the Princess sent her to assess the condition of the Divine Beast.” You had never heard him speak so highly of you before and as much as it would have delighted you, you couldn’t feel even an ounce of joy at that moment. You were more focused on trying to figure out the identity of this female Rito who stayed close to him as he spoke.

“It’s nice to meet you, (Name). I’m Nika, Revali’s beloved.”

Nika smiled and let go of your hand that had gotten cold due to... something. What was this? Your eyes fell on the wooden surface of the landing, this unexplainable sensation spreading throughout your entire being like Malice.

As soon as those words left her beak, you instantly felt something. Something... Painful. As if you were pierced with a Royal Halberd after a bombardment of arrows. You swallowed, unsure how to react.

“Oh... It’s nice to meet you too.” That was all you could say as her sudden words hitting you a lot more harshly than you thought.

“It’s getting dark,” you heard Revali say, his gaze landing on the horizon behind which the sun was setting. “It’d be best if we settled in for the night,” he stated, to which the Rito next to him nodded and began walking, most likely towards their shared hut.

You finally looked up at Revali. “It’s unfortunate you had to meet her like that, I didn’t expect her to cling onto me so... enthusiastically.”

His words didn’t exactly make you feel any better, but you tried your best to stay calm regardless.

And that’s how you met her. The one Revali called his one and only. You couldn’t understand why it had shocked you so. Why were you so bothered by all this? The strange feeling of sadness you couldn’t comprehend followed you like a Hylian Retriever clinging to its owner. It was unbearable. The way he looked at her, the way he spoke to her, it was unlike you had ever heard or seen and the more of that you experienced, the more it saddened you. It took you some time, but you eventually understood the reason for this arduous feeling. Those actions of love weren’t directed at you.

“It’s... It’s fine. I’ll probably go now. It’s been a rough day.” Your voice had gotten significantly quieter and you could only hope Revali didn’t notice it. Fortunately, he nodded at your statement.

“Indeed.”

He turned away from you, ready to join his beloved. “I expect you to return soon, knowing the Princess, she most likely won’t stop fussing about the Divine Beasts until Calamity Ganon is defeated.” He glanced at you.

“So, until then, I’m afraid you’ll have to enjoy my presence a bit longer.” And with that, he left, not that you were surprised, he did so often. This time, however, you felt lonely as your eyes lingered on him for as long as they could before he disappeared into his hut, through which you could have sworn you saw him embrace his... Beloved.

It was impossible to look forward to the trips to Rito Village because you knew you’d see them together for even a brief moment. It was not Nika’s fault, no. She was a kind Rito and you didn’t need to wonder for too long why Revali was so fond of her. You were the one to blame. For allowing yourself to develop such feelings for him. If you had realized them sooner, perhaps it wouldn’t have hurt so much. All you wanted, was to feel his wings around you just like she did, to see those stunning emerald eyes look at you with affection, just like they looked at her. It was impossible, you knew this, yet you allowed the feelings to linger within you, only for them to hurt you even more.

You flop onto the ground with a heavy sigh after defeating a group of Lizalfos that were threatening Zora’s Domain. Breathing heavily, you wipe the sweat off your forehead with your sleeve and catch your breath, the Zora Champion slowly approaching you.

“Is something the matter?” The Princess asks, her soft voice and oddly specific question making you look at her.

“No... I’m alright,” you say, still catching your breath. Mipha kneels down beside you, checking for any possible wounds you may have suffered as she does.

“Usually something heavy weighs down on someone when they fight this ruthlessly,” she says, glancing at the rather brutally defeated monsters that she herself didn’t even get to fight.

She had noticed your merciless attacks and the way you flung your weapon. The Princess had never seen someone defeat their foe in such a ferocious way. In truth, you took your anger out on just about anything that wasn’t a Hyrulean. You kept the feelings bottled up and it was only a matter of time till someone noticed your distress. And the Zora beside you did.

“I’m not asking you to tell me what’s bothering you. But... I’m here. If you need someone to talk to.”

You glance at Mipha, her eyes shining with the most genuine form of kindness you had ever seen. She had her own share of worries, yet she was ready to put them aside and help. Her soft voice filled you with a temporary calm you hadn’t felt in weeks. Her mere presence was already helping.

You briefly look down, going over your situation. Keeping everything inside was already killing you, and with Mipha’s calming presence next to you, the words just come out of your mouth:

“I... I’m in love with someone. But... They already have someone to call their... beloved."

The word had stuck to you, and digging into your being like a sword, yet you let it slip from your lips. Mipha listens carefully, your words hitting her quite significantly. You didn’t know this, but the Zora Princess understands your predicament well.

“How do you possibly cope with that, Mipha? Every time I see them, I can’t help but feel hurt. I can’t get over him...”

“We all have our roles to fulfill, (Name).” She places her trident down and you feel her hand land on your shoulder. Her touch is gentle, much like the healing power she possessed.

“Sometimes... We have to accept the truth. No matter how much it hurts.” You feel like crying. Her words are sincere and you know them to be true, but you can’t bring yourself to accept them.

Your (E/C) eyes fall to the ground below you.

“But how? How can I possibly come to terms with it?” You look at her again, your eyes filled with desperation. You wanted to overcome this, you really did, but it was far easier said than done.

“The only one who’s in your way is you (Name). If you can’t conquer yourself, you will have no hope of accepting the truth. It is difficult to look at someone you love to be so close to someone else, but if you cannot put that behind for the sake of your own well-being, the pain will only increase.”

Mipha’s own eyes glance at the ground, her own pain with the similar situation weighing on her heart.

“Trust me... I know.”

Her words stick to you, slowly replacing the unpleasant thoughts that had roamed within you for so long. You turn to her, an empathetic glow apparent in your eyes.

“Thank you, Mipha. Guess your words also have healing properties.”

“However, there’s always hope. And you should never give up on it.”

A smile tugged the ends of her lips as she spoke, her expression reflecting her words perfectly. The soothing words that left her mouth gave you hope that you thought you had lost and that unbearable sadness turned into something else. You couldn’t help but smile at the Princess.

She lightly giggled at that as you both began making your way back to the Domain.

An exhale that appeared in the cold air as a faint cloud left your mouth as you let go of the arrow, aiming at one of the targets of the Flight Range. You lowered your bow to witness where the arrow would hit, hoping it would land on the center of the wooden target. But alas, it missed the middle by a tiny bit, causing you to let out a sigh of disappointment and frustration, though it was fortunate you managed to hit the target at all since the powerful winds often messed with the flight of any arrow. Still, your ambitious side wanted to hit the bullseye more than anything, so you grabbed another arrow, ready to try again.

“Don’t even try it. You won’t even come close to hitting that target,” Revali said behind you. For a moment, in the midst of intense focus, you had completely forgotten his presence.

After the conversation with Mipha, approaching Revali had become slightly easier. You could talk to him without the constant feeling of envy or sadness, though it did partially enter your being every time your eyes caught a glimpse of teal-colored feathers. You couldn’t be mad at Nika, she hadn’t done anything wrong, so you tried your best to remain calm and friendly whenever she was around, but oh boy, was it difficult.

You lowered your bow and looked at him after rolling your eyes.

“Thanks for the encouragement.”

Turning away from him and facing the target once again, you were about to continue your attempt. Only to get interrupted once again.

“Well if you insist on shooting with an incorrect stance, don’t let me stop you.” In the middle of his sentence, you fired again, but this time didn’t look at where the arrow landed and instead turned towards him again, his words catching you off guard.

“Stance? What do you mean?”

Your brows frown at him, confusion painting itself on a canvas that was your face. He lets out a sigh and walks beside you, taking out his infamous Great Eagle Bow and drawing it.

One of your frowning brows raises up as you watch him, noting how inhumanly steady his grip was as he releases an arrow, which lands on the center of the target you had been attempting to conquer. He smirks at his small achievement and turns to you. How typical of him.

His words puzzled you. Despite the fact that they were coated in his usual sarcasm and arrogance, he had never sincerely given you such words of advice. Sure, he liked to bathe in the statements of fame he dedicated to himself, but hearing him actually providing his guidance was extremely peculiar. Strangely, it made you smile.

“The way you hold your bow is rather... Amateurish, to say the least.”

He placed his wings behind his back and kept his emerald eyes on you. His words had little effect on you and you found yourself lightly rolling your eyes at them as he continued:

“The reason as to why you keep missing is simply because your grip on your bow is unstable.” You glance at your hand that was still holding your weapon, the cold sensation caused by the low temperature tingling on your fingertips quite uncomfortably.

“Thank you for the advice, Revali,” you say as you draw your bow again, paying close attention to your grasp on the wooden material, making sure to keep your previously shaky hand under control. Your hand stays relatively steady and your confidence begins to bloom even under a sharp pair of emerald eyes.

Revali steps away from you, allowing you to finally release the arrow after taking a deep breath. It flies through the cold air and your eyes follow it anxiously, hoping that it would finally hit the center of the target that had been cleverly avoiding you for the past few hours. Your (E/C) eyes widen when the arrow hits the target, and this time, it had hit the place you had wanted. Immediately a smile creeps onto your face.

“Relax your shoulders,” you hear him say, just as you are about to release the arrow. You throw a brief glance at him before allowing your shoulders to relax slightly. This apparently isn’t enough for the Champion, however, as he approaches you, placing a single wing on one of your shoulders, immediately making your eyes widen a bit.

“The key to a successful shot with a bow is the right stance, which is not as simple as someone like you would think.”

His wing pushes your shoulder down slightly, which allows you to relax the muscles, and suddenly, the likelihood of you hitting the bullseye is increased.

Upon turning towards the navy blue Rito once more, your eyes catch an expression that seems to be a mixture of surprise and rare awe. A small smirk makes its way on your features as you look at him.

“Well? How do you like that?”

Your head tilts in the direction of the target that now had two arrows in the middle. Revali lets out a scoff and a laugh.

“I am mildly impressed. Hitting a still target on the ground is in no way a difficult task.”

You find yourself once again rolling your eyes at him as you know that what he says hides what he truly means. That’s the most important lesson you had learned when in his company.

“However,”

He takes a few steps towards you, his wings once more crossed behind his back. “You somehow managed to do it with that.”

His wing points at your bow, which immediately causes you to look at it, only to notice a crack on the wooden surface. “It’s... Broken?”

“Don’t tell me you expect me to oversee everything you do with a bow. If only your eyes were more perceptive, you may have been able to noti-”

“Indeed. I noticed from the moment you first attempted to shoot with it."

You lift your gaze to him.

“You knew it was broken from the start? Why didn’t you say anything?”

Confusion mixed with slight irritation coats your voice as you look at him, noticing him smirking once more as he turns his back to you, increasing the distance between you two as his talons sink into the shallow coat of snow.

His words that were coated in a condescending tone come to a halt when he feels something hitting his back rather harshly. A noise left his beak and he turns around, only to see you with your arms crossed, a mischievous grin stretching your lips, and a small area of snow that looked as if it was missing a piece. Revali’s eyebrows frowned as he swiped the remaining snow off his back, a slight wave of annoyance at the unexpected snowball flowing through him.

“I didn’t expect someone like you to act so utterly childishly.”

Your rolled your eyes, unwilling to let his words affect you, though they already had.

“Well, it was your childish blabbering that caused this in the first place. So technically, this is your own fault.”

Your smirk remains on your face as you purposely, and admittedly childishly, fire back at him.

“I was merely having fun.” You look at him and notice his expression change. It’s a change so microscopic you almost miss it, but something in his eyes indicate that the tone of the conversation was changing.

“At least I know how to have fun.” 

“What a ridiculous way to have fun.”

Revali walked past you, his wings once again behind his back. This time, his voice sounded different, a strange spike of anger in it that didn’t go unnoticed and certainly didn’t help the situation or ease your own growing pique.

“And you are saying I don’t?”

You crossed your arms. “Clearly not. Judging by your attitude.”

He scoffed mockingly. “I’ll have you know, I have plenty of ways to spend my time in a meaningful way, that do not involve childish games.”

“Oh, I’m sure you do! When you have someone like her in your life!”

The words that shot out of your mouth almost accidentally linger in the air and echo around the Flight Range, the harsh meaning behind them making Revali look at you, utter confusion and surprise twisting his feathery features. You blink a couple of times, your mind realizing what you had allowed to slip from your lips, and for a moment, you hope that he somehow hadn’t heard your words.

Revali looks at you, then at the ground, processing what he heard. It was true that he had noticed shifts and changed in his feelings the more time he spent with you. The times he would steal a glance at you, knowing it was in a way forbidden due to Nika. You were right, he did have a meaningful life with her, and that seemed to pain him the most. Revali noticed your expression and immediately understood that what you had said had plagued you and weighed on your being for a long time. Still, your words pierced him like a poisoned arrow. He loved Nika, but at the same time, his heart seemed to feel complete when he was in your presence.

“Revali... I...” The words of vindication and apology get stuck in your throat, unwilling to come out as if they know that there is no way to explain your sudden burst of emotion. You wanted to say you didn’t mean it, but that would have been a lie. Jealousy had twisted your mind little by little and you failed to push your feelings aside. You hung your head in defeat, understanding that there was little to do to save the situation. Your feelings were exposed and what would happen next was out of your hands.

After a grueling silence, the Rito finally spoke, his eyes holding a glow of sorrow and disappointment: “I’d better get going back. Back to-”

“Your beloved.” You finished his sentence as a heartbreaking indicator that you understood how much the teal-colored Rito meant to him. He glanced at you but quickly moved his emerald eyes away from your form as the mere sight of you was enough to claw at his insides. A nod was all he could offer as he prepared to leave. He crouched down and took off, leaving you in the midst of the snow that sprinkled around you.

Your eyes dampened with tears as the being you loved slipped away from reach, his saddened eyes not daring to look back as he flew towards the direction where the being he loved was, conflicted by his feelings he didn’t fully realize he had.

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but if Ariadna really was a canon character and the second heroine of Diabolik Lovers would you want all the characters that appear in her route to also become canon characters as well? For example, Naomi?

Mun Ari: There isn’t a stupid question anon-chan! All questions are welcome and I appreciate each one of them 🥺.

It is actually a hard question: I mean, as the creator of many characters within Ari’s AU I do feel attached and appreciate each one of them. However… not many I’ve had the chance to develop them even further. Besides… many characters I feel I made them for a VERY specific reason so maybe some wouldn’t fit in the DL canon verse.

Take the example of Naomi: I created her mainly because I felt Ari was lonely without being able to have friends due to her situation. A normal human girl simply wouldn’t do (having vampires around as the main impediment). A vampire hunter wouldn’t do either since I didn’t find the idea appealing. So I thought of another demon race to be more or less in the same level as Kino (regarding strength, durability or maybe power… someone that wouldn’t be easy to kill at least by that lil bish). Plus I’m also one of those fans that has this “need” to explore further into the other clans in the DL universe. So I created Naomi: to be Ari’s friend, confident and a somehow protector. Of course the more I molded her, the more I wanted her around and so I always add her whenever I have the chance… Also with the plus that I was bitter that Yuri never had a face and I felt the need that everyone that was around my baby Ari deserved love as well… I gave Naomi another reason to stay around: and what better that making her Yuri’s gf? A brilliant idea if you ask me~ 😎 JK! BUT THEN AGAIN: is the same reason why she never made an appearance in Ari’s route: she’s part of Ari’s life further in the future but not in the main story… did I make myself clear? 😅.

Yet… contradictory for what I just said… can you imagine Naomi in Satoi’s style and not my crappy art? Naomi is also complex on her own and she does have potencial to appear in the game. I'm a low-key proud aunt of her since I purposely made her the next heiress to the eagle clan~ girl power!!!.

Heck! Even Sabine that I have a love/hate relationship with her! I also made her a perfect “villainess” for Ari: the perfect counter part and the one that is there to cause trouble to my lovebirds~. I made her so well that I always chose her to be the villainess and I enjoy making myself (and everyone) hate her even more ^^! I also made her a strong independent woman! The heiress to the Víbora clan nevertheless! Just more bratty and annoying lol.

See? As a creator OF COURSE I would LOVE to see my babies being adapted to the canon verse. But since most of these characters (and only mentioning two of them…) have a VERY specific role (at least for me ^^’) in Ari's AU. So it could be quite a deal… but the answer is: I REALLY wouldn’t mind if any made it to the canon verse with Ari… at all~ :D

(episode 6) the reunion hug / scene, it looked so soft and nice ahhh- the entire art in that scene was just nice.

(episode 6) the atmosphere and framing of when Barbara was eating the demon meat. it came pretty unexpected and the moment you realize was such a big “ohhh… oh no.“

(episode 7) Lani and Thoma mentioning the migrating birds during their tower watch and that then later coming back when the kids think about where they could be was nice!

(episode 7) Norman’s soft “be careful” to Emma and Ray

(episode 8) norman hand symbolism, with blood, Emma grabbing it, him looking at it and how it ties Emma to his plan inherently and then when it's not his blood on his hands but someone's that he's taking away from another living being.

(episode 9) the unspoken realization that he’s not the only one being tested by the test scanner was on the right-hand side. good shit. Ik thats technically not the anime’s idea but I like how they put the focus on it with blur and didn’t actively state it.

(episode 9) him coughing up blood to show how fast it’s been progressing/getting worse // though that implies he refused to take his meds OR that its that bad even with the meds which I don’t think is the point. Like the psychological warfare of giving the kids a condition that they can only fight while they’re in their prison bc they’ll run out of meds is just. hHHH

(episode 9) I really liked Norman going to talk to Vylk and… hhh- Emma *AHEM* and how he didn’t really know what to say, and .........… E-EmMa going up to him and apologizing for what demons did, showing empathy and understanding AND ABSOLUTING WRECKING NORMAN and me. man, cycle of hatred bad.

(episode 10) Emma speaking over the radio to everyone is just… so heartfelt ahh

Hi! Re-read Restoration for the 100th time and all I want to do is talk about it, I hope you don’t mind! Firstly, love the farmers market alt universe, precious. But PLEASE tell me Haden only got a gf to distract himself from Penny. I struggle with scenes when the main couple is with others (GTFO jules/liam!!). Although I have to admit I enjoy moments of jealousy/possessiveness. So I was just curious about how that would play out! Loved the 3rd chapter of Reclamation, so so good. I really liked seeing Haden’s vulnerability and Niko knocking sense into him. At the same time, I do really enjoy when it’s Penny that Haden opens up to, and we get to see that reversal of their usual dynamic. “I can take care of you too, you know” was one of my favorite scenes. So you envision any other scenarios where we see Penny stepping into that caretaking role? Also regarding Penny, I thought you did a great job of portraying her hopelessness after her injury, with her emotions “locked behind a door.” I struggle with depression and felt like that was a good way of describing how it feels sometimes. It just got me thinking about mental health in their new normal! Do you think Penny ever slips into a depressive bout again? Is Stacey able to conquer her own demons? Last one, most important—does Haden successfully keep up his perfect dental hygiene?? 😁 Sorry for how out of control this got! I’m one of those fans that daydreams little scenarios for the characters and I will soak up any more info! Thank you!!

in the farmers market AU, I'm not sure. on the one hand, I love having Haden get a gf to distract himself from Penny, but on the other hand, I think pushing their meeting back a few years, and therefore giving him a few more years to acclimate to life outside prison, would ultimately result in a different Haden and probably one who is a bit more ready for a relationship. so it could go either way. you can imagine it however you'd like!

to answer the rest of your questions:

1) "I can take care of you, too" is one of my favorite scenes as well, and it's vital to their dynamic. I also see Penny stepping into that kind of role later on in their relationship, when their kids are a bit older. as much as Niko was needed to knock some sense into Haden, childhood trauma doesn't just disappear with one conversation, and it will take some active work for him to process everything in real time while raising his own children. Penny definitely acts in a caretaking role in that capacity, providing him with everything from reassurance to a shoulder to cry on. as much as he is Daddy in all senses of the word, she is also extremely capable and able to provide him with the same kind of physical and emotional care that he offered her for all those years.

2) I'm glad you found my depiction of Penelope's depression to be something relatable (well, not glad, but you know what I mean) and yes, she does slip into it on occasion. thankfully she is better at knowing the signs and so is the rest of her family, so it is something they can all ride out together and help each other with. as for Stacey, yes. she really comes into her own while acting as the leader of Novus Square, building her own confidence and finding a strong identity within her new community.

3) lol, I was flossing the other night and actually thinking about Haden stockpiling toothpase and mouthwash. there's a part of me that wants to write a Cast Away-esque root canal scene just for the hell of it. but yes, his teeth stay perfect. I'm jealous of him.

He trailed off, feeling embarrassed and shy all over again

You smiled at your adorably flustered boyfriend before sitting closer to him

You cupped his face and turned his head, planting a soft kiss to his lips

You lingered there, smiling 

Seoho returned your smile, instantaneously melting into the kiss

His first kiss may have happened differently from what he had imagined, but it was nonetheless amazing and special in its own way

But you just couldn’t put your finger on it

He kept glancing at you while you two were watching a movie

His hands felt extremely clammy as he held your cool one

And the number of times this boy licked his lips should be against the law

He just seemed a little too jittery and you wanted to find out the reason for it

Finally, you paused the movie, refusing to fake naivete any longer

“Why did you pause the movie?” He chuckled, but the sound seemed strained

You squinted your eyes at him

He avoided your gaze, choosing to look down at his ripped jeans

You weren’t going for that; you wanted eye contact

So, you grabbed his face and made him look at you

He let out a gasp at your sudden actions

Once he saw how close you two were, he blanched

“Are you gonna explain to me why you keep fidgeting like you need to pee?”

He gulped harshly, his pupils shaking

“Well?”

He sighed in defeat

He grabbed your hands and intertwined your fingers together

“It’s just… We’ve been together for a few weeks now and- Oh, I don’t know! You just always look so precious and beautiful and I can’t stop myself from thinking about how your lips may feel like. How it would feel to kiss you for the first time. But, I don’t know if you’d be comfortable with that and, trust and believe, I can wait until you-”

You cut him off, pressing your lips against his, proving to him that you were more than comfortable with sharing you two’s first kiss together

His eyes were wide like fish bowls; he was utterly speechless

hm, time for some straightforward worldbuilding infodumping.

Shadows are expressions of…something between one’s subconscious and one’s instincts/gut reactions/true thoughts, and much harder to control than one’s physical body. The going belief(?) of the world(??) is that when light filters through a person, it picks up traces of their soul, or something. I have not gone far enough to decide whether, like, dogs have moving shadows.

The default is that shadows usually move and look like normal shadows as we would think of them, but will also react to things, like by smiling or hunching shoulders, or even reach for things they want. Minor movements are still difficult to read, because of the indistinctness of the form, and of course you cannot see a shadow smile. 

Most people learn how to control their shadow reactions to things, like you learn to control your facial muscles but more difficult, so as to not give themselves away. People care to varying amounts. In Nadia’s…social class, I guess, it’s particularly important, and regarded as both shameful and sloppy to visibly react or separately move with your shadow, but also taboo to openly comment on or acknowledge it, because it’s very…intimate, really? Like, that’s someone’s inner self. 

It’s not that hard to master keeping your shadows movements copying your own. What’s like patting your head and rubbing your stomach is deliberately moving your shadow separately from yourself. A defining, possibly introductory character moment for Nadia is smiling politely at some catty noblewoman in her age group while openly and pointedly flipping her off with her shadow. Which cannot be acknowledged or replied to, of course. It’s easier because Nadia deeply wants to flip her off, but she also wants to punch her in the face and/or walk away and never come back, so it’s a measure of control as well.

It is harder yet to shape your shadow far out of its position as ordained by the local light source, shrinking or enlarging it (less difficult to just move it to a side of you it isn’t naturally, because there are often competing light sources.) It is about as difficult as that to feel through your shadow the presence of light and dark, but it is much harder to feel material things - the texture of the ground, where furniture is and people and how they are moving. It is very, very difficult to have such focus and sheer intent that you can manipulate the physical world with your shadow, especially if you are moving separately. It is rarely worth the effort to do this while shaping your shadow into something that isn’t it’s roughly natural (humanoid) form, like a dagger, because you don’t know what it’s like to be a dagger, but you do know what it’s like to have fists, so they’re much easier and more effective to use (as a shadow). 

It can be very useful to carefully shape your shadow into lockpicks, though.

The more intent a person is putting into their shadow, the more they can be injured through it, but even then it is difficult to do by physical means. The best way to stop a person with a skillfully controlled shadow is with another skillfully controlled shadow.

A person’s shadow must be connected to them or disappear, but they can stretch and slip under doors and through cracks, if moved deliberately, but absolutely all of the above is harder the farther they get from the source person. They do exist even when in deeper shadow or at night, but much…less so. Less able to move, either on their own or under conscious control. But actually easier to sense through, because the awareness gets somewhat spread out over more area. (You could easily have a madman who says he can feel the whole world at night - probably he’s just lying, or dreaming, but maybe the reason he’s mad is that he tried, or actually succeeded.)

So, in my mind and hopefully well-expressed on the page, even while basically drunk as a drowned man and some version of high besides, Erit was plainly very much in control of her physical body - not fully, perhaps, or she wouldn’t have held Nadia’s hand so much, or said things exactly as she did. But she walked steadily, hid her pain, punched a guy in the throat. Her control of her shadow, however, was shot, including the ability to focus enough to even sense through it, much less affect anything material. She couldn’t even get it to stay still. By Erit’s standards, she might as well be drooling and unconscious. But her shadow is also…very strong, like a well-honed muscle, which was why it was able to move around so much - and it’s kind of like when you’ve been holding in a lot of emotions for a long time, and suddenly you let go, and you can’t stop crying and/or explaining your feelings to anyone who will listen? Careful control of your shadow for years and years builds up to it acting like a hyperactive kitten with protective instincts, once pharmaceutically let loose. There was also an element of the shadow (Erit, deep down) aggressively wanting to be seen.

Nadia, fully aware that this is the (our world) equivalent of a drunken and terribly earnest, intent, hand-gripping confession of affection: *blushes furiously*

Also, I think this with shadows is the only way that this world differs from ours. No other magic. Other worldbuilding: many actors practice separate control over their shadows, because shadows revealing true characters’ true feelings is a trope so big it doesn’t even count as a single trope. The villain banker who says kind things but is rubbing his hands together evilly as he watches the innocent young maiden walk away confident that he will help her keep her family farm. The will-they-won’t-theys whose shadows reach for one another, not quite touching, as they physically turn away. The phrase “step on me” means “prevent me from being my true self”, shortened from “step on my shadow” (”You’re stepping on my shadow!” the teenager cries at her stifling parents before storming out of the house.)

Azul is known to be very quiet, only talking when he legit has things to say. He’s also very blunt and honest, and has a dry sense of humor. He is the type to often take matters into his own hands and act before asking for permission. 

He is a highly protective big brother, and while he tends to act like a dick to his lil bro (who acts like a dick back, it’s a bro thing) he loves Reuben dearly and would literally kill anyone who dared to hurt him.

Despite his apparent grumpy nature, Azul is actually far more patient than one would think initially, as it is really hard to make him angry. He can stand his brother’s mishaps and his familiar’s flirty behavior without batting an eyelid for hours.

Abilities:

Azul is a dark magic mage so he knows a lot about curses and summoning spells, and can perform those as well, not to mention create enchanted objects or poisons. He can also solidify shadows as a weapon. 

He has the ability to put a sleeping spell on people, this one is sort of his trademark as he uses it a LOT, whenever he wants his bro or Lasha to shut up, or if he needs someone to rest due to their injuries.

He can also command Lasha as he pleases, though mainly uses the snake’s skills for intelligence gathering and occasional massages. He doesn’t want to use Lasha in battles too much both because the snake demon might go a bit far, and because he honestly is concerned the dumbass would hurt himself badly. 

Weaknesses:

His tendency to act before asking for permission can sometimes lead into rather bad results, where he meddles into something he shouldn’t have. 

He is terrible at making friends because most find him highly intimidating. He mainly really chats with his brother casually, or his familiar. Overall, he just has the tendency to come off cold and blunt, which might be learned from the way his teacher acted. His habit of not always getting enough sleep and staying up too much is also learned from Lionel, although in his master’s case it was fine, since as a Chesire, he didn’t need as much sleep as Azul does.

He is a skilled mage, but there are always those who are more skilled, such as his teacher, Lionel, and sometimes Azul overestimates his abilities.

Fun Facts

- Azul could be considered Demisexual, as one really needs to gain his trust before he can actually feel attracted to them - something Gwendolyn managed to do. He doesn’t care too much whom he’s romantically involved with, at least when it comes to gender. His current lover just happens to be a woman. 

- Azul is pretty kinky and aggressive lover, which Gwendolyn actually enjoys a lot given how feisty she is.

- He sometimes contacts his wandering teacher trough Astral plane if there is more serious matter to discuss

- Azul’s most precious possession is a ritual knife he got from Lionel (the one he can use to contact him) his teacher, and he is highly possessive over this item due to the incredible emotional value it holds. He will get pissy if anyone touches it without his permission, and might either stab, curse or just punch them, or otherwise make their day miserable. The only two people who are allowed to touch it are Reuben and Lasha.

- His nicknames for Lasha are Lash, hoe, Slutnoodle and dumbass.(Lasha has a habit of flirting a lot, and before Reuben found Athem, Lasha also slept around quite a bit)

- He calls his brother either Ruby or Reubie (or dumbass number two)

- He himself is nicknamed “the Blue Demon” by the common folk because he tends to terrify them a lot. 

- Azul is one of the very few people Empress Gwendolyn trusts to see the horrid scarring on her back from the demon attack century ago. 

- Azul can go on for days without sleep, though usually someone eventually knocks him out when he starts getting ridiculous with it.

- That claw thing on his finger is something he uses to bleed magic essence from things. it is based on Helias’ feathers that have similar ability.

BG story in a nutshell:

Reuben and Azul were orphaned brothers whose home village was destroyed by a rampaging magical fire, which originated from their lunatic of a father trying to enchant Reuben’s elemental powers with a forbidden ritual, and causing the boy’s power to lash out of control. They ended up in Mirthas where they lived up to their late teens, during which time both were trained in their respective magic skills, Azul being trained by Mirthas’ master exorcist Lionel. After Reuben’s mental state got worse due to the nightmares and guilt over what happened back in their home village, Azul and Lionel decided to erase every bit of memory from Reuben’s mind regarding to the incident, portecting his sanity.

During their time in Mirthas, Azul summoned himself a familiar, who freaked Lionel out at first upon realizing he was the same type of demon as the one who’d attacked their Kingdom years ago. However, upon seeing how well Azul connected with the snake, he allowed the boy to keep it. He also managed to develop a bond with the then reclusive Empress of Mirthas, who’d been keeping herself away from public eye due to heavy emotional scarring and shame. Azul’s honest, no nonsense nature helped to ease the troubled Empress’ mind, and she grew fond of the young mage.

Azul ended up in his current Kingdom of Valencia after taking a trip there with his brother and the Empress, who was requested to aid her old friends with something. The two brothers grew fond of the human kingdom and decided to stay, especially after Reuben went and fell in love with their elder prince.

Here’s bits about Lasha

Age: Unknown, but he says he’s at least a couple centuries old

Height: 185 cm

Length (snake form): about 4-5 meters

Demon Type: 

He’s what they call “Arthan” which refers to members of the lost kingdom of Arthanos who ended up succumbing into their own magic power and turning into demons. Another name - the one primarily used - is Silver Night Beasts as often they have an element of their body that appears like the night sky and glimmers silvery with “stars”

Personality: 

He’s highly flirty, physically affectionate and seductive, coming off as somebody highly confident with their looks and not afraid to use that advantage. Most of the time he acts calm and well-mannered, though he is mischievous too, playing tricks on people (harmless; Azul would get pretty angry if he hurt people without permission) and loves being paid attention to. 

That being said, he genuinely cares for his Master and gets highly testy if someone insults Azul or his brother Reuben. As a snake, he can act almost cutesy and silly. 

When it comes to his master brother’s Djinn - whom he knows personally from the past - Lasha’s behavior can change drastically and reminds more of how he used to be as human; loud, aggressive, blunt and sarcastic. Athem just seems to know exactly how to push his buttons.

The same time it’s pretty obvious to everyone around them that Lasha still loves him and his blunter attitude is born more out of absolute trust towards Athem and lack of need to control himself and portray himself in a certain manner. basically, he acts a bit more natural with Athem.

He can also be extremely childish and playful around his childhood friend/boyfriend in a manner that resembles what he usually does only in his snake form. 

Abilities:

He is IMMENSELY strong physically, able to even damage the most powerful creature types of their world like Nephilins (Gwendolyn and Helias) or White Tigers (Rayna) He can rip humans to shreds with ease, and his claws in human form are so sharp he can cut trough metals and thick rock. 

He has four forms he can shift in between; a full human form with legs, a half-human, half-snake naga form with two variations; a “friendly” one where his human upper body looks like how he normally looks in human form, and a “demonic” look where his face turns more demonic with a snake-like jaw, no eyebrows and his hair turns inverted with colors. This form is also MUCH larger than normal, easily towering over people with being near three meters tall (not including the tail part, simply the human body) Last form is the tiny snake which is weakest, but he prefers it outside battles (or making out) as it conserves energy.

Lasha, like other demons of his kindred, has a curse he can inflict upon others; his is called “Euphoria” where he can inject or blow powerful poison on people that drives them to extreme bloodlust, or uncontrollable mad cackles that won’t stop, or other extreme types of hormonal rush or so, to the point they eventually die from too much stress put upon your body. 

Lasha can traverse trough shadows like most demons and turn invisible, and see into people’s dreams. He also has a mental link with his master, able to communicate with him wordlessly. 

He’s an excellent dancer as well and gives reeeally good massages.

Weaknesses:

Being a bound demon, he is not as powerful as he would be when freed. Like majority of dark beings, light magic is pretty effective against him.

Lasha has a demon-type specific weakness where someone using his original name from his time as a human can basically gain complete control over him, making him lose his autonomy entirely, both body and mind if the name-wielder wishes so. The only being able to override this enslavement is his Deity Belias as he always knows the human identity of his demons. Lucky for Lasha, finding out ones original name isn’t easy.

Unluckily, there is a person in his current life that knows it, though he would never use it against him voluntarily, as he loves Lasha. (Athem)

In his snake form, he is pretty vulnerable and can get badly hurt from just stepping on him. 

His past has left him with traumas, and at times he might wake up in a fit of anxiety where he is unable to speak, nor change his form from whatever it is (snake or humanoid) even if he wanted to. 

Fun facts:

- Lasha is a lil intimidated by huge ass tall people, because Mirthas’ Kingdom Bear shape-shifter guardian Cain accidentally stepped on him once. it hurt, a lot.

- He has a habit of nuzzling Azul’s hair as a form of innocent affection; it’s  a habit he developed during their first year of knowing each other.

- Lasha’s favorite people to flirt with for shits and giggles are Azul and Gwendolyn. His flirting style is very different then though, when compared to the person he actually loves; Lasha can be very well spoken and charming when flirting with peeps he’s not serious about, but with Athem he can be absolutely childish.

- His curse bases on what he felt when he first transformed into a demon; in Lasha’s case he was in the middle of a bloody battle and was enjoying it to a disturbing degree.

- Ironically, he’s actually calmer now as a demon than he was as a human, according to Athem who knew him when he was human

- Lasha’s favorite napping spot in snake form is his master’s shoulders. In human form he sleeps on Azul’s bed as it’s often unoccupied anyway due to Azul’s night-owl habits. He does also like to go and use Athem as a pillow whenever he’s available.

- The ruby pendant he wears in human form is the symbol of his contract with Azul, as it used to belong to Azul originally.

BG story in a nutshell:

Lasha was once a warrior of Arthanos, a lost Kingdom known for its dark magic and powerful warriors. He was one of the “channelers” warriors who could channel their deity’s magic power. Like every Channeler, he was paired with a normal warrior, who happened to be his childhood friend Athem. 

Athem had been in love with him since they were kids, and always tried to reign in Lasha’s violent tendencies, though rarely succeeding in it. In turn, Lasha found him an “annoying nag” or “party popping, straight-laced, goody-two-shoes bore with a stick up his ass, and not the good kind.”

Despite his harsh words, Lasha did actually return the feelings aimed at him, he just didn’t want to admit it openly.

It was Athem who was forced to banish Lasha into the dark realm once he transformed, as Lasha almost killed him. The snake didn’t really recall Athem or any of these events up until he appeared back into his new life as a Djinn.

Sometime during his demon years, Lasha was under another master who treated him horribly, thus resulting into his traumas. 

The reason why he adores his current master so much is because of his past experience, as Azul is actually decent towards him - aside from the name-calling and smacking his head when he misbehaves - which Lasha is really glad about, as part of him still yearns to be treated like a human and not a monster.

1. Your first OC ever?

So this girl. Ohh boy this girl. I made her in the fourth grade right around my RPG horror phase. I actually remember a lot about her because she’s certainly… something.

Her backstory is that one day while she was away from home, a giant meteor came and destroyed her house and killed her parents. She had no relatives to stay with because they lived all the way in Russia??? So she just traveled the streets and she came across this weird purple gem thingy in an alleyway that made her turn evil. The evil gem made her go to this abandoned high school full of monsters and she stayed there. (That “abandoned high school” was based on the actual high school I’m going to right now.) her on the left is her ~evil~ side while the one on the right is her ~good~ side. I remember I shipped my self insert with her good side. I was gay at age 10 and my first gf was my own oc.

Despite how wild her character is… I do think she is one of the main reasons I create characters today (because it was just so fun having my own little world with my own creations), and I do think her design actually influenced one of my current characters. (Not at all in backstory though. I swear I don’t write backstories like this anymore.)

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?

My favorites change all the time depending on who it is I’m focusing on developing at the moment, though for the most part, these guys are usually my favorites. I’ll describe why I like each of them the most (left to right):

Aster - I just get so emotional over him and yet he’s also my favorite to use for jokes. He’s my go-to for gay jokes, even though him being gay is like… actually a very serious part of his character. I find him really interesting because the persona he puts in front of other people is very different from how he actually is. He presents himself as a cocky asshole, but in reality he’s very emotional and indecisive.Patches - I think it’s mostly the fact that he’s gone through a lot in life (mostly in regard to his relationships with other people) and has finally found someone who makes him happy. He’s had a very bad ex who treated him horribly in more ways than one, which sort of left him very uncertain about starting any new relationship with someone. He fell in love with a much better person who treats him well and is just a good source of comfort for him. I just love that so much. He’s very cold around people he doesn’t know or like, but is an absolute sweetheart to people he does know and love.Lillian - Lillian falls under one of my favorite types of character… the past bully who realizes the error of their ways and tries hard to become a better person. Again, I get very emotional over her like with my other ocs. She was bullied a lot in her past and transformed into a bully herself as a way of… self defense. She tries really hard to help people who struggle with bullying themselves, offering to be their bodyguard and things like that since she’s physically strong and can stand up for herself and others.Liala - 1. She’s so fun to draw?? I think in my sketchbook I carry with me I have the most drawings of her. 2. I’ve never been the biggest fan of bubbly characters, but there’s something about Liala that I love so much. I think it’s mostly because her personality isn’t… genuine? She fakes her personality in hopes to be liked by other people because she believes her “normal” self is too boring and unlikable. I dunno how to describe my love for Liala… She’s just good.Tomo - She’s an absolute sweetheart and I love her. She has a lot of issues going on (mostly in relation to how she sees herself and how she trusts others). She has a very hard time making friends because she thinks she’ll just hurt everyone somehow. She suffered a lot from bullying when she was younger and believes that she doesn’t deserve happiness. She has… two “forms” I guess you could call it? One with a mask and one without. With her mask she pretty much glorifies the thought of the worst possible outcome, though only happening to her. Without her mask, she greatly fears the thought. I think I dump a lot of my anxieties on her tbh. She’s my Anxiety Gal.Alex (the tiny boy at the bottom) - Tbh he just completely became a self insert without my knowing and now I’ve grown so emotionally attached to him that doing anything slightly depressing with his character makes me want to cry. He tries way too hard to be cool, and he thinks girls are the coolest thing to ever exist so he really idolizes them. He isn’t liked that well in school and is bullied a lot for how he dresses and acts. His only “friends” are two high schoolers who make him really uncomfortable, but he doesn’t know how to stop being their friend.

7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?

…Well! I think it’s obvious to tell that my ocs are not designed for dangan ronpa, but the only story idea I’ve really been able to think of is a dangan ronpa-esque situation. It’s actually really helped me develop my characters. I’ve come up with a lot of elements for the story (such as each chapter murder, their motives, character roles, why they’re there, etc.). I would go into more detail, but this response is already plenty long, so I think I’ll do that at a later point if anyone is interested.

13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?

if by “troublemaker” you mean “characters who commit crime” then yeah I have some. I don’t really have much development for the two in the back since they’re just side characters to exist for the purpose of a main character’s backstory. (Even then, they aren’t too relevant.) The green one is Luke. I don’t have much going on with him other than he’s poor, gay and kinky. The orange one is Clair, and all I have going for her is that she’s rich but does this stuff for “fun”. Poor Alex in the middle was just dragged into this strange friendship because he says he likes to “break the rules” in school and they thought on more extreme levels of rule breaking. Now Alex doesn’t know what to do please help him.

About the Shannara finale & season in general

This is gonna be long so…

First of all, i wanna be very clear. I’m not trying to spread hate for the show. I love this show. i would never say anything hateful cause i appreciate how this show is and how it wants to be, and i don’t want it to be cancelled due to negativity. I’ve just been frustrated about it…at least lets say since the finale, and I’m writing this to try to get it out of my system.

First of all, I’m a wilretria shipper. since day 1 Eretria&Wil have been my babies. so I’m sure you can see where some of my frustration comes from.

Second. From day one my favourite characters have been Eretria, Allanon and Ander (see why my frustration?)

Eretria: I love Ivana. when she won the Goya award i clapped like crazy. And then turned our Eretria was awesume. Anything anyone would want to be. Strong, an amazing fighter, brave, loyal….and as we also learn, kind and even sweet.

Allanon: i love Manu since i don’t know when, so him being the druid guy…i knew it was gonna be badass. and then it was. and i couldn’t love Allanon more.

Ander: the cool friendly uncle. helping niece to run the race, going to get her at the party like “omg girl you look stunning, that’s ma niece” and then talking relationships with her. I JUST LOVED HIM. and then he also made impossiblefor me to focus on tragic moments. i don’t tag him “the ‘dat ass’ elf” for no reason…

Well, so far you can see season 2 has not given me happiness in this matter. 1 became ashes and the other a waterfall (sort of)

What frustrates me about these is, well..the books. I still haven’t read them, cause i was waiting for the end of the season, but i read a couple of things, from which i got that Ander&Allanon probs both died on the 3rd book. Ok, i can deal with that but...I can’t? cause I thought this season was filling a gap between book 2 and 3. but that’s ok i guess. follow the book way too early.

But what gets me about this is that then I can think or say, “ok, so i guess then they will also follow the book for Eretria and Wil, right? I mean…cmon. It doesn’t seem like that for now, but you know, that’s what a season 3 would be for”, but then people say “oh cmon, the tv show doesn’t have to follow the book, stop with the books”. But the thing is, season 1 was very much like the book from what I’ve heard. I remember reading in the Nerdist website they said they wanted to keep it very similar to the book, that they only made Eretria have more depth and do something more than FALL IN LOVE WITH WIL AND FOLLOW HIM AROUND (sorry, dunno why that capbloq itself…oh wait, i do) So, they are gonna follow and even make happen ahead of time things that happen in the book, but others..neeeh. ok, that frustrates me.

And one other thing, since i’m talking about my ship. I feel wilretria shippers have been mostly completely silent this season. I don’t think we have created any drama regarding Lyria. We just kept getting blows and letting that relationship happen without saying a thing. Because we fear if we say anything we will be called “homophobic”, get hate and things like that. And it is frustrating cause we aren’t voicing ourselves because we aren’t dicks, and we are letting everyone enjoy their ship, but this may ruin any chance of our ship happening if they think we don’t care. And we are seeing it getting even harder with the Mareth thing. So i want you to understand, i don’t care if Eretria has a gf, she is bi so she can have all the gfs she wants. But shutting out Wil completly as a possibility cause yes...no. I love Wil and Eretria even since before i watched the show. I do care, so much.

Now about season 2 in general:

PROS

Garet Jax or “jarjar gax” how i like to call him for funsies. total badass. I wished we could have know what was his past entirely cause it seemed interesting, dammit.

Mareth: She was cute and sassy, a magic user in a different way we had seen, which was cool! and then, related to Allanon, which is great considering we also know nothing about Allanon, or Mareth’s mom. So nice, she could be anything and take us anywhere

And on that note, something I’ve always appreciated about this show, from Tilton, to Allanon, to the gardener, to the background actors, to the rovers & elf hunters...this world really seems like a real post-apocaliptic world cause there’s people from all etnicities. these season some more in leads. good show

This stupid season made me love Wil. That lil bitch annoyed me so much. But he is too cute. And we saw him in his lows and in his highs. using the magic unwisely, hugging the hell out of Eretria when it turned out she wasn’t dead (this poor kid, i swear to god. a whole year thinking he lost Amberle and Eretria; the latest being his fault for leaving her behind). Also he made his peace with Allanon awww. And to be honest I love his death scene. It mirrored Amberle’s and now all our 3 heroes have died to save everyone (let’s not forget ma rover bleeding herself out, ok?) And thank whomever must be thanked, he isn’t dead. You can’t die when i start to love you, a-hole. tho that’s what this show does to me.

Eretria: We got to see where she comes from, what will be her challenges and how her loyalty to her friends is stronger and bigger than anyone could ever have thought. Also she was badass as always.

Ander. I mean, Ander is everything. anything with Ander was the best scene ever. dat ass. best king ever. bless. he also said Eretria is family and at this point I dunno if i want Eretria to marry Wil or him cause honestly “yes, i remember when i met your mom...i fell for her instantly. i mean, she kicked me in the face and let me unconcious, but..” is a great “meetcute” Also the threw that traitor down the waterfall omg my king is so fucking badass.

Allanon: i mean...pfft it’s allanon. everything about him is a pro, duh. Giving him a family and showing him caring for Wil was nice too. he is not a heartless guy. he loves all this crazy kids.

Bandon, Riga, Warlock lord: god, you bunch of asshoooles. i hate you all so muuuuch. Good bad guys :) The warlock lord became my hero when he de-headed Riga. you deserve it biiitch omgggg for Andeeeer. Then the Bandon thing...i mean...poor Bandon, but bitch, you had everyone occupied and Riga killed Ander. Then my new hero warlock lord killed that ship traitor Allanon (i was like that’s what you get! but then he was cursed and became ashes....and i was like, ok a bit too much) and then he did the other thing and i was disappointed on my new hero. i was all “i was rooting for youu” They all where awesume at being bad. is awesume having such great baddies

I can’t believe i almost forgot her

Ambertree: or Amberle, as you prefer. I really didn’t want her to be back for the sake of my ship. but I also did start crying when i saw her in the trailer. So i guess i love her too. And seeing her was so nice. I missed the elf princess. but stay as a tree please Amberle. (ps, also wtf amberle you too with the Mareth thing, i take it back, i hate everyone on this show)

CONS

Ander: Can you please explain to me what the hell has this poor thing done to deserve this shit? His brother dies. he becomes this depressed drinking ball of an elf and loses his gf. years later his dad, his bro, half of his goddamn castle, his ex he still loves die. ALL DIE. His niece becomes a tree. And he has to be king. Also Eretria kicked him in the face (i kind of ship it) And then we get to season 2 and the girl he is with s murdered (....i wasn’t on board of this anyway cause god Catania, you effed the Bandon inprisonment, didn’t ya. but if Ander my love was happy. but no. and then he gets murdered trying to save this girl (Eretria i’m never going to forgive you for being up to tell her to get up and run, but not to throw a knife and save my elf husband). and so the story of Ander ends. Being throw down the traitors waterfall, where no one can recover his body and give him the royal funeral he deserves. I will forever be bitter about this, i kid you not. #longlivetheking

Allanon: Again, my babies cant catch a break. He is trying to stop Bandon, turns out he has a daughter with his loved one and we don’t get to see them become dad and daughter. I had already accepted he was gonna die because i read someone saying “after what happens in book 3″ And then he drops that “you and mareth are ma ship” bomb. my brain: “oh you asshole how dare you to compare them with you and Pyria. You can die now, byeeeee” (i’m evil, i know).

Eretria: I feel this season didn’t do much for her. I guess she did all the development she could do in season 1. But i feel they mistreated her a lot. I get she has a girlfriend, or so, cause at some point she had broken up with her i think...but i feel the way they made her interact with Wil was just weird. The little times they interacted. that was annoying. (those two have so much chemistry they have to keep ‘em apart or we all would be arranging their wedding by the “welcome back, shorttips”) Eretria has always been in love with Wil, let’s be honest. We all saw her face the day Wil said “there is no us” or when she saw him kissing Amberle. We all know without Amberle in the picture things would be very different. Does no one really remember he was up for it the same day he met Eretria? and then some days after in the palace room? (also let me point out Eretria does love will cause to rob some stones she could have giving him an “Ander” and leave. but she didn’t. she stayed, and said would never call him shortips again). So this two at the very least had the hots for each other to begin with. Also let me remind you how Wil cried when Eretria died. He used the stones for something else than killing a demon for the first time to save her (if that doesn’t scream love, soulmates, endgame or whatever, i dunno what does) And this season, tho they have kept giving us sweet moments of the two, where we shippers kept our hopes high (the tree girl was gone, this was out moment), and we hoped to see THEM FALL IN LOVE AND GET TOGETHER (since its a space between books, you know)... and that’s why the complete anulation of this ship is so painful for some of us. We felt Amberle was some sort of puppy teenage love, and Eretria would be the true love woman for Wil....but no. anyway...a Shannara and a child of the Apocalypse. Good magic & (bad/good) magic. ancient kings blood, ancient humans blood. like honestly.

Wil: I’m not gonna blame the poor kid for being an emo and be mad at the world, cause his life went to shit last epi of last season (if not all season in general). And i honestly developed love for him this season. BUT...this thing about him and Mareth...I feel it came out of nowhere. They were just friends and then one day she makes eyes to him and he makes eyes to her? there wasn’t even a big thing where i could say, where there they realized they love each other...and out of nowhere they are the biggest love story eveeer. im sorry, no. i can’t. I get everyone loves them, but i...no. (again, i guess is the wilretria shipper in me who sees more past and more development in the relationship and that this was happening too quickly out of nowhere) (Also the pre-death kiss, that was i guess so romantic and adfghjklñ....kinda ruined the scene for me. like “oh ffs, die already, Wil!”*narrow*” was a thing that happened in my brain)

Others: I dont think I have much complains about the others. One of the only ones is Lyria’s storyline. i feel like the only thing i saw her do was mope and cry? and that one time she stood up to her mom, planned a wedding with Ander and once held a sword (which i feel they really exploded to make her look badass)...i feel like they made this character to be the love interest, and im sorry for it cause it could have been so much more. Also that “don’t wanna be a princess I’m running away but yas i wanna be queen” thing...does it even make sense for the person we were introduced to? also it was the fact that I had to buy into her love story with Eretria. When i saw in the trailer she was gonna have a gf i was like, oh no...more difficulties for my ship, but hey yes, let’s see what happened here. But then...i didn’t know anything about them? when did they meet? how long have they been dating? “where you go, i go”...where does that come from? how did i know what Lyria’s mom told Eretria about her saying that to everyone wasn’t true? Maybe my ship blinds me, but i feel this relationships started as if i started season 1 with will and Amberle frickfracking and then she becoming a tree and I’m supposed to be super sad, but i can’t I don’t know if it makes sense since i shipped Pyria and Allanon since moment 1 but that’s probably my “omg star crossed lovers, him staying young while she grows old, not seeing each other in 30 years shdfadlgfhañsla” loser heart Mareth: I was here for the magic kids friendship until it stopped being a friendship. now she is ruining my life. and i don’t appreciate it.

((me being annoying: also the blingbling palace was too much for me, omg did i miss Arborlon))

Ok, I think that is all. I know it seems like I didn’t like this season, but omg, i loved it. it was so intense all the time, and so many awesume fights, and some great new characters. Is just that I had hopes for my ship just to see them sinking more and more. at this point I’m Artax and my ship is more a submarine.

I can’t wait to see what they do in season 3 (and probably cry and hate everyone cause my ship sinks), but this show is too good to end forever in a “to be continued”. I want my babies back

Joe’s Weather Blog: Everything but the kitchen sink of weather (WED-1/8)

So let’s start with some good news…the mild weather continues for about 2 more days…today and tomorrow temperatures will again be well above average continuing the streak of above average days here in KC> Today will be the 21st straight day and tomorrow will be day 22. Heck with a midnight high on Friday we may have 23 straight days…then things change…at least for a couple of days.

The price of that change will be a variety of winter weather including a potential snowstorm for some of our viewing area…data is still conflicted on exactly where…and KC is still very much in the game on this one. I can’t over analyze a storm track deviation of 50-75 miles at this point…but that’s what we’re dealing with right now. I see where the model that doesn’t give KC a snowstorm (GFS) may be making an error in the dumping of the cold air and the forcing of everything farther east and southeast of the Metro. Other models do indeed have KC in the cross hairs of a decent snow developing on Saturday afternoon.

Everything is on the table right now…and model fluctuations of less than 100 miles are expected…unfortunately this will continue through Friday…and maybe even Friday night…it may be a close shave on Saturday…for KC one way or the other.

Forecast:

Today: Sunny and mild but with a chilly “feel” as the winds increase from the east and southeast. Highs near 50°

Tonight: Steady temperatures with increasing winds…gusts to 20-30 MPH possible. Lows in the 40s

Tomorrow: Cloudy with some drizzle possible…and showers later in the evening. Highs in the mid>upper 50s. Windy…gusts to 30+ mph possible

Friday: Slowly turning colder in the afternoon…we may be near 40° in the morning but gradually dropping to near freezing later in the evening. Rain may mix with some sleet or freezing rain at night. NE winds will add to the chill.

Discussion:

Lot’s happening…but again the main story for the last few weeks is the mild weather overall in the region…2nd warmest start to winter.

We’re not far from #1 and we should get there by the end of the day tomorrow perhaps.

So with all that said…there is going to be creeping cold and some very cold air entering the weather pattern over the next 7 days…with a dump of the coldest air of the winter so far coming towards the middle of next week.

Before we get there though…it’s complicated.

Really tomorrow and most of Friday is pretty straight forward. Gulf moisture comes northbound tomorrow…aided by strong south winds. Some mist/drizzle or a few fast moving showers are possible…whatever we get tomorrow won’t be much. Sort of knocks down the dust type of rain. Dew points will increase well into the 40s…so perhaps even a bit of a “spring” feel tomorrow with temperatures well into the 50s.

Tomorrow night it stays mild as well till 12AM or so…then the cold air to the north starts to ooze a bit farther south into the area. Whatever we are at 12AM Friday will likely be the high for that day…40-45° or so.

Then things get a bit more complicated on Friday.

Cold air will started pushing farther south into the Metro…undercutting the mild air above us…that’s a recipe for at least some light rain…and certainly colder trends with NE winds helping to bring temperatures down into the 30s as the day moves along. This is part one of the change.

Really though for most of the day we’re sort of in no mans land regarding much rain…that changes after lunch though…rain will be expanding towards SE KS and moving up the I-35 corridor…so increasing rain chances later in the afternoon through the evening.

That is part 2 of the change.

Part 3 is tied to part 1…the cold air oozing southbound. The colder air will be located more towards the ground and NOT above us…at least into the evening hours. So that means snow CAN’T form above us (or it melts as it falls…since the air above us will be above freezing…like 40-45°)…so that brings the winter mix into play later Friday night. That means some rain…changing to sleet or some freezing rain will be more likely sometime after 8-9PM or so Friday night.

Then a lull moves in. The issue before the lull though is assuming we get that mix of wintry weather…the roads will certainly be wet…and IF they don’t dry out in time as the temperatures Saturday AM tank into the mid 20s…we could see a flash freeze happen. Especially on exposed surfaces…sidewalks…bridges and overpasses. That would be my concern to start Saturday off. The roads won’t be treated because the rain on Friday will wash off the treatments. So it could be a catch-up type situation on Saturday morning.

Then on Saturday the main storm comes out into the Plains. That is the snowstorm potential for us. The issue with that it the track of the “deformation” part of the storm..the snow producing part of the storm. This is what we refer to as the “commahead” part of the storm.

This will be either through the Metro or just to the SE of KC. Far to early though to rule out a snowstorm with any definiteness or be highly confident that a snowstorm will happen in KC on Saturday.

Here are two models…the GFS model…

A pass just towards the SE of the Metro…that would be a snowstorm for areas SE of Metro…

and the EURO model…

We get more into things with this outcome…something in the 2-5″ (with upside) range on this…and with the cold temperatures…the snow ratios would be higher…although there might be some mix issues happening at the onset SE of KC depending on how quickly things come together on Saturday.

Those are just two models…I like to use the ensembles for this situation from 3 days out…see what another 90 model outputs show. Of those outputs…including the Canadian model which is also more bullish for snow in the overnight data…let’s dive deeper.

Of the 3 major models…the GFS (American model) the EURO (European model) and the Canadian (duh) there are the “deterministic” runs…the ones that we show you on TV and are readily available if you’re poking around on your own…then there are “ensemble” runs of all this deterministic runs.

The benefit of this approach is confidence. Ensembles help because they take a model and use different initializations and some different physics to come out with a forecast. The GFS runs about 20 ensemble members…the Canadian about the same and the EURO runs 50 other “members”. So I’m looking at almost 90 other pieces of data…let me show you this information.

1st the EURO…you can see the individual runs represented by the horizontal bars…and the average of all of this by the vertical bars at the bottom. Some members hit us pretty hard…others with nothing. It averages out to 3″ or so on the EURO ensembles…again with the cold air coming in…there would be some upside. I believe the data is a strict 10:1 ratio

Now the GFS…and it’s more complicated because the GFS model that you see is the new model physics…while the data that is below is using the older model physics…this model while updated a few months ago isn’t necessarily any better though.

Again some yes to snowstorm some no…

Then there is the Canadian…

More than half the members with at least 2″

So looking at ALL 90 or so members above…43 give us at least 2″ through Sunday AM…almost 50%.

That’s why I don’t think you discount the potential of a snowstorm in KC on Saturday. Can it go to the SE of here…sure…but there is just as much of a chance we get into something more significant in the Metro than it misses SE of the Metro and I think that is something that may not be “out there” as much. A metro is is still VERY much on the table.

For what it’s worth the new NAM data came out this morning and just nails the KC area with heavy snow…like 6-12″ worth…that is probably overdone…and I typically don’t trust what it does after 60 hours…and this would be between 72-84 hours out right now…but again…let’s NOT discount the potential for a significant snow in the KC area…

how does your muse walk? : very lightly when she’s in a good mood ! asuna carries herself very freely ? she walks like she doesn’t have a care in the world ( despite the fact that she’s actually v upset deep down ... she just represses everything ). she does have a tendency to stop her feet when she’s angry though ! she’ll throw a fit ; she’s a fan of theatrics.  how does your muse talk? : she talks very quickly & a LOT ! asuna loves to hold conversation, as long as it’s not with someone only fluent in languages she doesn’t know because she grows frustrated with not being able to understand or keep up. she’s the type of person who needs the last say, & it’s difficult to argue with her because she’ll constantly nag & say the same thing repeatedly with hopes of having the final word.  how high (or low) is the tone of their voice? : her voice is fairly high ; it sounds ‘ sickeningly sugary sweet ’ how’s their posture ( or lack thereof )? : she stands very relaxed most of the time ; though her shoulders are often pulled back rather than slumped forward. she does this partially as an intimidation factor, but it’s mainly because it’s comfortable for her ! whenever she’s standing / stationary, she tends to bend one knee & rest her weight on the other leg.  how does your muse typically smell? : like warm summer nights -- like sand, shells & the ocean. growing up in cali, she’s been told in the past that she reminds people of their childhood, when they’d frequent beaches with their families. she also smells very natural ; not like she’s drowning herself in artificial scents ( such as heavy perfumes ).  what kind of air do they carry? are they intimidating? : asuna’s not too intimidating upon a first glance. she’s very welcoming & friendly, though she becomes intimidating when someone crosses her. whenever she’s truly furious she turns into a completely different person altogether ; she’ll kick & scream & pretty well throw a temper tantrum. she also may get physically violent, depending on the situation !

how do they respond to stress? : very terribly -- she ignores the issue until it becomes impossible to do so. she doesn’t like facing problems head on & prefers to live a stress-free lifestyle. she’s still ignoring / repressing the death of her ex.  what makes your muse happiest? : it’s going to sound incredibly corny & cliche, but long walks on the beach. asuna’s very much a nature girl, she loves being by the ocean & spending time pacing the shore. she has memories of walking the shore with her best friend when she was younger ; the two found shells & collected them ... she still has them on display in her room, despite the fact that she’s no longer friends with that person anymore.  what upsets them the most? : seeing car accidents or being involved in accidents. it brings back memories of her ex & all of the emotions associated with the accident. she has nightmares about it occasionally, which cause her to become mentally exhausted for days on end ... it takes a lot out of her.  is your muse an extrovert? an introvert? neither? : asuna’s more an extrovert than an introvert ! however, she does have her days where social interaction exhausts her. she normally thrives in social settings though, & loves talking with & meeting new people.  what is your muses worst fear? : aside from remembering her ex, asuna’s also equally afraid of people not accepting her due to her sexuality. her parents were the reason for this insecurity / fear, being that they didn’t like that their daughter was only interested in & wants to be with girls. she’s very open about her sexuality, but internally, she still has this fear -- it’s deep, deep down & surfaces every now & again. it surfaces more often when she finds herself getting close with someone.  is your muse an early riser? a night owl? : definitely a night owl ! she finds there’s something incredibly serene about being awake when the majority of the world’s asleep & dormant. she does wake up early however ; she’s able to function on little sleep ( an average of five / six hours ) how intelligent is your muse? do they acknowledge it? : she’s fairly smart, not overly so, but she’s not lacking in knowledge. she does feign ignorance a lot of the time however, figuring it’s easier to be naive & unknowing because then not only do people expect less from her, but she’s also one step closer to living without troubles, you know ?

she has a lot of tattoos n her parents loathe all of them. she started getting them when she’d gotten into her first relationship ! her ex-gf’s best friend was training 2 be a tattoo artist so asuna offered her skin 4 them 2 practice on !! when her parents found out n saw the tattoos they threatened to kick her out,, but like,, she’s a free spirit n kind of just told her parents “ ok kick me out, i’ll still get tattoos either way ” -- basically, she’s ruthless af.
