The two scientists had been split up from the rest of the Science Team.

"A wonderful job well done, Professor!" Doctor Coomer beams as Doctor Bubby blows invisible smoke away from his gun, a dead zombie left in a heap on the floor. "Doctor." He corrected, unamusedly as he reholstered the weapon.

"Professor!"

"Doctor."

"Professor!"

"Doctor!"

"Professor~!"

"Doctor- just- damn it, Harold!" Doctor Bubby huffed, crossing his arms as he stepped quickly over the body. "Honestly, I don't even know why I try! You do know what Doctor means, right?" Doctor Bubby frowns as Doctor Coomer trails behind, pausing his thought to think.

"Well, a physician (American English), medical practitioner (Commonwealth English), medical doctor, or simply doctor, is a health professional who practices medicine, which is concerned with promoting, maintaining or restoring health through the study, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of disease, injury, and other physical and mental impairments. Physicians may focus their practice on certain disease categories, types of patients, and methods of treatment—"

"ENOUGH, Harold." Doctor Bubby groans, becoming too annoyed to further the discussion topic. What he hopes is just a quick walk down a corridor in silence after that debacle to find the other idiots who lost themselves, but that was not the case.

After a few steps of quietness, Doctor Bubby let out a strangled noise as Doctor Coomer advanced on him like prey and pushed him against the wall, flipping him to face frontward so he could look down at his fellow doctor. Trapped against the wall between Doctor Coomer's metallic arms, Doctor Bubby sputtered some more as Doctor Coomer stared at him, unblinking.

"Harold??" Doctor Bubby spoke as he was watched, and Doctor Coomer only tilted his head in response. "Do you really want me to stop calling you Professor?" Doctor Coomer finally asked, and Doctor Bubby gulped.

"Yes! Well- no, maybe, I- if it's a one off joke I don't care, you just always push it, and-" Doctor Bubby tried to look elsewhere, suddenly uncomfortable with the situation he was forced to acknowledge as all the previous anger and annoyance faded fast.

"Hey. Look at me." Doctor Coomer put a hand on Doctor Bubby's chest, causing the other to look back immediately, although with a flushed face.

The height difference wasn't insane, so it was not like Doctor Bubby had to strain much to see the shorter, but he looked down none the less.

"I'm sorry, Doctor Bubby." Doctor Coomer apologized, an easy going smile on his face, and Doctor Bubby knew it was genuine with no malice. Breathing through his nose, Doctor Bubby muttered something akin to acceptance, but Doctor Coomer wasn't through with him just yet.

He didn't look away, nor release Doctor Bubby from the pin in. After a few moments more, he spoke again at last. "You're so handsome." Doctor Bubby seemed to be caught in a trap at that. "Of course I am, I'm perfect in every way!" He barely was able to stutter out, growing a deeper shade of pink every second. Doctor Coomer found it cute.

The hand on his chest never moved, either. "Can I kiss you, Doctor?" He asked, and Doctor Bubby's breath stuttered. "O- of course, you don't have to ask." Doctor Bubby barely had any time to think as the hand on his chest balled a fist into his shirt, pulling him down to meet Doctor Coomer in a kiss undeniably soft, the one arm left pinning Doctor Bubby to the wall coming up to cup Doctor Bubby's cheek instead as they kissed.

His legs felt like they were going to give out, shaking as he felt like Doctor Coomer was the only thing to keep him upright. The kiss went on for an eternity, or so it felt, and Doctor Bubby wished it would never end.

Doctor Coomer, on the other hand, had different ideas.

The hand on his face went to his shoulder instead as Doctor Coomer pulled away from the kiss, a smile pressed to his lips as he stared at the other with half lidded eyes. Doctor Bubby let out a breathy whimper as Doctor Coomer let go of his shirt to hold his waist instead. "I don't have to ask to do this, right?" He practically purred out.

Before Doctor Bubby even had a moment to question what '' this '' was, brain still frazzled from the kiss and relocations of his hands, Doctor Coomer leaned upwards to mouth at his neck, causing Doctor Bubby to stand straighter against the wall, fingers scrabbling for purchase against it as Doctor Coomer giggled against his throat. "Oh, fuck, Harold-" He whined, eventually leading his hands to weakly grip at Coomer's shoulders. "What if- what if they find us?" Doctor Bubby whispered, barely able to bite back the noises Doctor Coomer was forcing out of his being.

"They won't." Doctor Coomer assured him, kissing the side of his neck before licking a stripe against it and biting down gently. Doctor Bubby was almost certain he saw stars.

They stayed there for a few minutes more, Doctor Coomer attached to his side as if he couldn't get enough, and Doctor Bubby letting it happen as he whined, too caught up in how good it felt.

Suddenly, footsteps were fast approaching them, causing Doctor Coomer to pull away, leaving Doctor Bubby wobbling as he tried to process what had happened.

"Hello, Gordon!" Doctor Coomer cheerfully announced as a trio descended upon them, turning a corner into the corridor they were walking in.

"Hey, Coomer, where the hell were you two?" Gordon rubbed at his face, "we were looking everywhere for you guys. C'mon. Lets go." He turned around without a second moment's notice, not even noticing the way Doctor Bubby was rubbing at his neck, or the way Doctor Coomer had a mischevious smile. "I was simply helping our friend Doctor Bubby after a little alien mishap!" Doctor Coomer informed, trailing after Gordon as he left, while Tommy and Benry were left to help Doctor Bubby.

Benry gave Doctor Bubby a silent high five.
