The Dragon Prince Thoughts Season 3 Episodes 1 and 2

Episode 1

-dude I thought it was replaying the first episode again for a second

-the dragons TALK???

-whoever this dark magic dude is he is 100% right that dragon was about to kill a WHOLE CITY??

-he did that to himself if he didn’t try to attack the city there would’ve been no need for the purple magic tornado

-also did they not say that the dragons are fireproof?

-“all this stuff about senses and appearances kinda sounds like moon arcanum stuff” …how?

-is saying that foreshadowing that he’s gonna learn to understand the moon arcanum too?

-did they just forget that Amaya is deaf for this scene because they aren’t using sign language and she understands everything they’re saying, and even if she can read lips she turned her head when the other dude started talking even though he wasn’t in her view

-STOP MAKING ZYM WHIMPER LIKE THAT

-Ezran is like 9 when I was 9 I cried for days because my dog died he just lost his DAD, like him and Callum are literally orphans

-every single castle guard is hilarious I love them all

-Ezran is home working while Callum is having the time of his life in Xadia

-Ironically the safest place Ezran could be right now is in Xadia with them

-Soren and Claudia being in denial that their dad is pure evil just hurts literally every main character has some sort of issues regarding parents and it’s sad

-also we must acknowledge the bread sandwich

Goblin King Halloween Headcanons

Request: Ok I'm genuinely interested! How would our dear Goblin King react to his S/O insisting on celebrating Halloween underground!?

At first, Jareth wouldn’t really understand the whole concept of Halloween. You keep on talking about dressing up in costumes, and parties, and going out to collect and eat treats, and strange little creatures running about, and the poor man just couldn’t understand how this was any different than usual life in the Underground.

You keep begging him, and begging him, following him around the castle until one day he snaps and relents and allows you to show him how to celebrate this strange holiday.

He seemed annoyed, but when you squealed and ran over to throw yourself on his shoulders and press a kiss to his cheek, the blush that heated his face gave away that, perhaps, he didn’t dislike the idea of Halloween at all if it made you this happy.

He flat out refuses to get his hands dirty when you come running into the kitchen quarters with two massive pumpkins lugged under your armpits. He kind of stands there while you carve, peering over your shoulder with a raised eyebrow and disgusted look, one hand on his hip. You finally have enough when you feel his hair tickle your cheek for the thirtieth time, and end up making him flee the room when you start flinging stringy pumpkin seeds at his new embroidered jacket.

(Although, to be fair to Jareth, he did ask what the most Halloween-y item was, and had his jacket specially made for the occasion - it was a raven black, with little smiling sequined pumpkins running up the arms.)

You can hear him growl from a mile off, as he keeps popping round random corners, and climbing up the side of different staircases, only to end up with one of his riding boots landing right in the middle of a jack-o-lantern.

Although he does find himself laughing when the goblins keep running up to him with little wizard hats and long beards on.

One morning, while he's just sitting on his throne, tapping his riding crop against the marble, you come running in wearing a pair of his tights and one of his feather capes, saying you were going as him for Halloween. 

His eyes widen, and he can feel the tips of his ears burning, but he plays it off and pulls you onto his lap, saying you almost look better in his clothes than he does. Almost.

But you can feel the way he pulls you a little tighter into his chest, and the way you can feel his lips twitch up into a smile as he peppers your neck with kisses.

You make him spend a day hanging up decorations. You motivate him by standing near his step ladder, handing him skeletons, and little hanging pumpkins, and glow in the dark lights, and pressing a kiss to his lips every time he bends down to grab more.

One night, you bring up a ghost decoration late at night, because you had begged Jareth to give you the material to make it and you had just finished. Little did you realise, that he was climbing up to the parapets as well for a little midnight stroll in the refreshing chill air. When he bumps into what seems like just a floating, luminescent figure, the high pitched scream he lets out leaves you double over in laughter.

You have to spend the next few days coddling him, coming up behind him and stroking his hair out of his face, slipping a few of your Halloween sweets into his hand until he forgives you.
