Bump and Dumps -Part Two

Here is part two hope you like it.

Hattie had quickly realised after jumping in her yellow vw beetle on her escape from Harry their memories together were so ingrained into her life there was no way to forget him even temporarily. Even her car which she had nicknamed sunny was a constant reminder of him, he had gifted her the car as a graduation present when she’d finished university. It had been her dream car since she could remember the old fashioned Beetle was such an iconic car in her eye and she had been blown away that her best friend had given her such an amazing gift. Her and Harry had also made many memories on the back seat of her car. As she began driving down the M25 she began to panic Hattie left everything in her life to chance she trusted in the universe to lead her the correct way. I mean why wouldn’t she trust it, for it was chance that had led her to Harry originally but right now as she was driving down the M25 she realised she had removed chance. For the first time in her life she had taken a decision into her own hands.

She took a deep breath as she neared her child home in a small countryside village on the outside of London. It was no ideal for her to commute to work but it would be a temporary solution to a massive problem. The next issue was explaining the situation to her parents as she pulled up outside her little home in the middle of nowhere she felt completely broken she had not lived at home since she had left for uni at 18. She grabbed Muffin and her handbag deciding to get the rest of her limited possessions tomorrow. Muffin stirred and began to meow in confusion she had only ever been but in her cat box for the short tube journey to the vets. Hattie quickly unlocked her parents door luckily she still possessed her key. She knew her mum would be in bed but her Dad would luckily be asleep on the sofa with a random documentry in the background.

She was right she saw her Dad snoring away on the sofa she put her bags and muffin down and cuddled up to her Dad.

“Claire?” her dad questioned groggily opening his eyes.

“Hattie? Wait what are you doing here.” he sat up starring up at his daughter confusion flooding his face.

“Missed you.” she sighed snuggling further into her Dad who quickly recipriocated.

After ten minuted of her and her father hugging in silence he spoke.

“Come on then lets get to bed.” Hattie grabbed muffin and her bag following her Dad upstairs to her small childhood bedroom which unfortunately still possessed poster of the one and only Harry Styles.

“Night Dad, I love you.”

“I love you too Harriet, we will discuss everything tomorrow ok?” she quickly nodding knowing her father knew something was wrong. I mean it was kind of obvious when his almost 24 year old daughter turned up at home at 11:30 at night.

She closed her door and let Muffin out her carrier, she decided that she should probably turn on her phone and alert Harry to her taking Muffin as she had forgotten to mention it and was worried he had not noticed the carrier as she had left. Immediately as her phone turned on it sprang to life 60 messages and 34 missed calls.

Her texts were no better, although a few were from work about a hearing on Monday and new elements to the case she was helping represent the majority were from Harry. Emily had messaged to say she knew I had told Harry and hoped I was alright and that I was welcome to my old room as she had never gotten a new housemate after I had moved out mainly as she had never needed one in the first place and Hattie knew the offer although it was genuine was from a place of pity. She began to read through Harry’s messages.

Please come back Hat, I didn’t mean to make you feel this way.

This isn’t fair you didn’t give me a chance to explain. It’s my baby too Hattie.

I am sorry baby.

Please come home, I love you.

Hattie I will give you tonight but tomorrow we are talking about this I won’t let you go.

The messages continued going between desperation, declarations of love and anger which was immediately followed by an apology. Although, Harry had a temper he always realised when it had revealed its ugly head and rein it back straight away. Muffin came and curled up on her chest as she began to sob the little fur ball was very comforting and always seem to know when Hattie was down.

Gemma had also messaged her offering a place to stay for a little break and had briefly even mentioned a congratulations on the baby and her excitement to have Hattie around forever. She knew Harry would confide in Gemma and although she and Gemma were friends she knew Harry was her first priority and she was glad that he had her.

Jeff had asked her to call him back or Harry and had even joked that there was little he could do with a emotionally broken rock star.

She kept reading Harry’s messages over and over finding comfort in his words but she knew she couldn’t do anything until she was no longer confused about him, her future and of course the baby. She sent Harry a quick message.

I am safe. Muffin is with me. I will call you sometime next week.

Harry was on the phone to Gemma when he saw her text he let out a sigh of relief, one because he thought that he had accidentally let Muffin out when he had gone to see if Hattie had truly gone and he knew how much that cat meant to her if he lost Muffin he may as well give up on ever speaking to her again. Although part of him had secretly hoped the cat had escaped so he could demand her to come back and search for her. Secondly, because he knew she was safe which was an absolute priority for him always had been thats why inside the house they had military level security cameras. He also installed the cameras so no matter where he was he could check she was safe he would also check she was up in the morning for work so he’d know if she was sick or running late which was something Hattie hated. He could also check she was safe home from work.

Over the three years he had tried to find a suitable match he had tried to set Hattie free he knew she couldn’t stand fame, the press or attention that's why he had always refused her to be his girlfriend. He knew he had been selfish to make her move in with him but at the time he had reasoned with himself that it was in her best interest but he knew its because he needed her. Every girl had not compared to her Camille was hopeful but she didn’t have the determination, wonder and compassion Hattie possessed. When she had first said she was pregnant he was so happy it meant that as Hattie would say the universe had confirmed he could have her. It no longer seemed like a selfish action to him, he hadn’t realised how rejected Hattie felt as soon as he realised when he was with Camille that Hattie had started to look for places elsewhere he had ended it immediately. This is what was leading to him getting into him car at 3am to drive an hour and a half to his love.

He panicked during the drive what if she rejected him? What if she doesn’t want the baby? He had fallen in love with the idea of a tiny human half him and half Hattie since the moment he met her. He was going to prove to her he did love him he did want her and he was no longer selfish he would even give up touring his second album for her and the baby if she needed him too. He’d give up everything if it meant he could have her because after three years of her he realised he couldn’t deal without her as cliche as it sounded.

Harry knocked on her door he was unsure what welcome he would get as not only was it 4:30am but he had also knocked up their daughter and caused her to leave in the middle of the night. He knew that if it was his daughter this had happened to he would knock out the guy.

“Hello Harry I expected you to not be far behind.” Hattie’s dad Simon spoke well Harry took the fact he didn’t seem angry as a good sign. Maybe Hattie had not disclosed the situation to her parents.

“Hello Simon, I am sorry it is so early.” Harry shook Simon hand and followed him into the little home. He had always loved coming here mainly due to the pictures of a small Hattie coating every wall. Also the smell of vanilla and cinnamon smell which was very closely linked to Hattie she made their own home possess the same smell.

“So why don’t you tell me what is going on? Hattie didn’t seem up to discussing things but seeing as it is just us men tell me why I should not make you leave right now. As it is obvious you have hurt my daughter.”

“Hattie is pregnant.”

Simon rose quickly from his seat his face turning red with anger.

“Tell me right now you did not tell her to get rid of my grandchild.”

“No no I would never there is nothing I want more.” Harry defended himself quickly imagining the chubby little baby a similar one to the photo of Hattie on the wall with chunky little fat rolls and a cheeky smile.

“I think she is confused. She doesn’t think what we have is enough.”

“What do you have?” Harry knew he had to tread carefully even though Hattie was a liberal spirit especially before she met Harry. He had told him stories of her losing her virginity at 4am with her next door neighbour a boy three years older than her at just 15 under the apple tree in her garden. Although, He knew her parents were very traditional every time he had stayed here they would be put in separate room as he would sneak in at 2am to hers.

“It is confusing but I love her. I really do please I need to make her understand. I want her I want the baby I would marry her tomorrow if that’s what she needs.”

“Hold on a second there. I think you should walk before you can run son.”

Hattie sat hidden on the stairs listening to there conversation sadly though she knew he was only panicke due to her leaving and maybe he was fearful she would hide the baby from him. She knew he didn’t mean those things because if he did, he wouldn’t have waited three years to realise.

New adopted oc! Her previously owner and creator gave it away to adoption and i took her in, can’t let a beautiful oc like her to go to waste/deleted/erased!

This beautiful but deadly oc was adopted by me and she will be in the mafia crew AU Alfa-beta-omega ONLY!

Can’t wait to draw her! Her red eyes are stunning, black long hair and dark hound ears, dark skin, her pet is a dog! Just look at her, i’m very happy having her in my AU!

She’s the leader of the hell hounds (plus eldest)

She has a big dog(hell hound but I don’t have a ref of the dog) that she always loves and she loved during around life time. Her crimes were murdering innocent people with her dog and how she died was being buried alive with her dog.

Yoldeing the cat: Is Bella best friend and like a big sister, they know each other since day one, they were born at the same hospital. Nobody knows Yoldeing real parents since mister Tomoshi, found her abandoned in the crib after only 3 days…also Bella is half japanese, that’s why Yoldeing decide to learn japanese.

The fire lady (Ruby): Ruby is a spirit of fire, they lived with people in peace since no one can really see them, however one boy, Silver can see her perfectly…At his six birthday, a fire started in the room where he and others kids played; that event left a mark on the poor boy and a big scare. Silver was afraid of her since she reminds him of the past however one night an half human-spirit Ruby appears at his door, asking him for help…Now, Silver must help Ruby get into her world before she disappear completely!

Silver: Silver, is a hot white hair boy, who has no care in the world, he is a strong and free person. He has a guitar and his love is “Mona” a red motor scooter. His father is one of the richest men since it’s a family business for generations…However he is not interested in such boring things, Silver is a dreamer!

Bella the cat: As a family, Bella has her parents and her younger brother, also she has an aunt (she was adopted; sister of Bella mother) that is a fox with 9 kids (Blue is one of them and Bella cousin)…Her best friend is Yoldeing the cat. The rest of her past is N/A

It’s time to meet another new adopted oc: Rocky flame, she is much more like a candle with flame 😅 Rocky flame smells like vanilla… Her friends are Dandelion the white flower and Muffy, Rocky flame doesn’t like Amstran the moon dancer too much because she thinks that he is like a bad omen…

I have bad news: My black marker died on me recently 😧Nooo!😣

Also fact about my ocs: Layla has the left eye green while the right is blue, she bleed black ink and her tears are red as blood! Also she has a double personality!

Bella the cat: She has yellow eyes, and in her pink hair has some green hair, so yes, her hair has 2 colors even that in her family no one has green hair, also her silver moon earrings are important to her, it was a gift from her grandmother!

Diamond suffers from memory lost, she can’t remember a part of her childhood, she is part cat because her mother was a cat…and Diamond is shy and insecure, her cat part is brave and loves adventures…other then that she has my personality because before becoming an oc it was my persona…

Luna the moon demon is actually a reflection of the moon called the moon child in many mythical stories… She has been born from all the events that was happening on full moon from decades ago, Luna only appears on full moon, but there are rare moon fenomens like the super moon/ blood moon, the moon of vampires etc that emphasize her true form and it’s not a pretty sign…She loves the moon eclipse, it’s her favorite time! Originally, she was created to protect the ones who were lost at night but that changed due in time! Now, she is just a moon demon!

Elly the snow cat: She along with her family is a descendent from the big cats that lived in the ice Age. Elly loves cold, she is a cold person, not many likes her, she is always sad! He was born on July 14, family has his father that is his mentor, his mother died when he was 11 years old! Vincent has his mother voice but loves rock music that comes from his father so he decide to become a rock star singer! He meet Bella the cat at one of his concerts, so they become an item!

2019 Fic Writing Roundup

I was tagged by my lovely friend @catty-words.

Total 2019 Word Count: 58,159

Total 2019 Hits: Asdfghjkl; Oh gosh, it’s much harder to tell when the work is only on Tumblr! I’ll tally up the notes from there to get the closest approximation I can. It looks like there are 174 total (a mix of likes and comments) on the pieces that I posted from this past year.

Other 2019 AO3 Stats: N/A, although I did finally join AO3 *this* year, so next time around there’ll actually be things to put here! :)

Total 2018 Word Count: Published? None. I think I might have tried writing a little bit of something for myself somewhere in there, but I didn’t get back to any kind of public fandom writing until 2019.

Oooh, this is actually a good opportunity to list them chronologically rather than in publication sequence. Let me see if I can get them sorted. (If, however, you’d prefer to read them in the order that they were published, you can click here and simply open the installments in reverse, since Tumblr displays things oldest-to-newest.) All of the following were written for the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fandom and feature Heather x Valencia as their central pairing.

1. Barrier [1,385 words] - Following where we last saw them in 1.09, Josh and his friends continue their beach day now sans Rebecca’s presence. Consequently, Valencia’s critical eye falls on the only other woman in their company - Heather.

2. Unexpected [3,003 words] - The conclusion of 1.18 leaves Valencia with a lot of emotional baggage to unpack. As one of West Covina’s most frequented locales, Home Base is the first place that springs to mind where she might chase away her sorrows (or perhaps just air them out verbally while all other involved parties are away at Jayma’s wedding). Heather finds herself pulled into comfort and commiseration despite her efforts to avoid involvement.

3. Lost Control and Tumbled Overboard Gladly [3,265 words] - Heather goes to her parents’ home for the first holiday visit since moving out on her own. She has her new friend Valencia in tow. Sincere conversation and the rare allowance of vulnerability break down Heather’s walls with an ease that takes her by surprise.

4. Such Sweet Nothing [1,362 words] - Valencia and Heather return to V’s apartment after their Labor Day afternoon of story-swapping and quality time together. Valencia revels in the joyful acquirement of the second gal pal of her adult life. Heather contends with the dawning realization that her interest in Valencia may not be purely for friendship.

5. There’s A Reason Not to Want This (But I Forgot) [2,418 words] - Internet sleuthing with Rebecca pulls Valencia right back into a Josh fixation spiral. Heather must also face some unresolved feelings: namely, a crush now so intense it can no longer be denied.

6. Habits [3,599 words] - The desire to protect Valencia’s heart overrides the instinct to shield her own, and so Heather ends the self-imposed avoidance of her company. She arrives on V’s doorstep with a helpful cover story and some unfortunate news that needs to be broken gently.

7. I Want Not to Want Anything [1,314 words] - Heather Davis gets Santa Ana Winded.

8. Breathless [3,673 words] - A talk with Heather about Rebecca’s impending marriage to Josh leads Valencia to reassess what matters to her. A rosé-fueled jaunt to a local green space gives rise to the persistent inkling that what - or rather who - she really wants may be a lot closer to her than she’s ready to admit.

9. No One’s Really Got It Figured Out Just Yet [3,289 words] - Valencia throws the bachelorette party for Rebecca. Gurl Group antics and H+V flirting tactics set to hits from the mid ’90s and 2000s ensue.

10. Evading [2,207 words] - In the wake of events from 3.05 and 3.06, Heather and Valencia have a much needed heart-to-heart. They put some important truths into words while treading lightly around a few unspoken facts so delicate they’re best left in the margins.

11. How Long Do You Plan to Keep Me at the Back of Your Mind? [2,442 words] - An evening welcoming Valencia’s girlfriend Beth to be an honorary member of the Gurl Group doesn’t go quite as smoothly as planned when Heather has a difficult time harnessing her lingering feelings.

You and Me, Always Between the Lines [1,828 words] - Now that she has spoken with all of her immediate family members and closest friends, Valencia is prepared to announce her first romantic relationship with a woman on social media. 21. Portage [1,707 words] - Heather has plans for a couple’s trip with Valencia. The only obstacle is keeping it a secret between the two of them.

22. The Courage and the Strength I Need [1,957 words] - Valencia struggles during Heather’s business trip because it is their first time apart since becoming a couple. They FaceTime to ease the pain of distance and talk about their future.

23. Wanna Be With You All Alone [1,237 words] - Heather comes back from the aforementioned work travel to find that Valencia has made special welcome home arrangements.

24. Midnight, Fright and Candlelight [1,426 words] - A quiet evening is interrupted by a power outage. Heather and Valencia find a surprisingly wholesome and G-rated way to pass the time.

25. Next to You [1,550 words] - The big yearly Davis Family Reunion quickly approaches. Valencia prepares to accompany Heather to this event and be introduced to many members of her extended family.

26. Warm Whispers [1,683 words] - Heather and Valencia just want to be all cute and domestic and spend the morning fooling around. Their cats disrupt these pursuits in typical feline fashion.

27. “When We’re Together, Darling, Every Night Is Halloween.” [1,228 words] - Heather and Valencia get ready to attend a Gurl Group Halloween party. Their second annual couple’s costume? Gomez and Morticia Addams.

28. #afewofmyfavoritethings [2,838 words] - Nathaniel, Rebecca, Valencia, Heather, Paula, Scott, and Tommy all rent a cabin for vacation. This piece follows them through a day of wintertime fun. Pure fluffiness here and I had the best time writing every second of it.

Favorite Fic: Probably #afewofmyfavoritethings. I packed it with elements I personally love and moments I was hoping my new friends in the fandom would like. Plus, it was honestly just so good for my soul to write these characters in a soft world where they could engage in classic snow day activities and enjoy each other’s company.

Hardest Fic: I knew there were a few installments of Femslash February where I wrote whole paragraphs or even pages I didn’t keep/decided to revise, but I was pretty sure I also remembered at least one where I wrote an entire separate piece. My sleep schedule was, shall we say, not advisable during February but it was also easily the most exhilarating month of my year. I tracked down the evidence of that rewrite and it turns out the incident I recalled was for Unusual Kiss (the prompt for Day 4 of FF). The original involved something to do with butterfly kisses because, evidently, my inclination to link Valencia to winged beings knows no bounds. I’ve got to admit that I’m still fond of the concept of Valencia giving Heather a subtle “kiss” during a hug in that painfully frightening time before Beth when she was afraid to outright kiss a woman in any way that couldn’t be dismissed as platonic. There’s a good chance an interaction of that nature could appear somewhere in the full story. I am notoriously drawn to that angst period of undisclosed pining so the temptation is quite strong. Still, I’m glad I used the version I actually posted and saved elements of the first draft for later. Fragments of their conversation from the original will probably make it into the final tale, but I think I prefer to sprinkle them across several exchanges instead of divulging them all at once.

Do You Plan to Take Prompts in 2020? Sort of yes and sort of no. I am participating in the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Valentine Exchange, which involves a prompt-esque note from the participant each of us were assigned as our guide to spark inspiration for the gift. It’s also possible that there’ll be some writing prompt list posted somewhere along the way just like Femslash February was last year, and I’ll end up wanting to join the fun. Other than that, though, I’ll mainly stick to the one writing project in an effort to hone my focus.

What was the best thing about 2019? I’d definitely say the bonding and interactions with other members of the fandom. The encouragement and support I received from them remains the primary motivation for me to keep writing and chasing after the ongoing goals I set for myself.

What was the worst thing about 2019? The most honest answer that my mind immediately supplied is death of a close relative. While that isn’t the sole reason for the dip in my creative output (especially since there were multiple months between my last published fic and the passing in question), I know it could certainly be counted among the contributing factors to an overarching writing problem I had. Even before my family’s loss, there was a shift in my thought process that only got worse once there was more on my plate in my personal life. There were many times I sat down wanting to write again but it felt too difficult and intimidating to commit words to the page. I couldn’t seem to transfer them from my mind to the keyboard and I’d invariably switch to doing something else. I developed this terrible internal conviction that insisted the larger fic I wanted to write wouldn’t work as well as the shorter installments. That gnawing insecurity would have me believe one month’s worth of well-received efforts was already such a marvel that anything beyond that point was somehow pushing my luck. Where did the mental voice originate and why couldn’t I shake it? It’s difficult to parse out but what I do know is that I’ve firmly decided 2020 is going to be a year I put it on silent. I know what it’ll mean to me for everything that’s been floating in my head to finally be told in one cohesive format, and to have the satisfaction of giving my favorite characters the ending my heart says they deserve. It’s a sense of closure that’s worth the pursuit.

Any last thoughts for 2019? The bad parts of the last twelve months made me want to essentially say “good riddance” to the year, but the good parts were far too treasured to wish all of 2019 away. I am so grateful for the new people I met and friendships that solidified during that time. I especially owe my most heartfelt appreciation to @catty-words, @notbang, and @monaiargancoconutsoy. Thank you for everything. <3

Marinette glanced at her reflection in an empty platter to make sure her hair was staying in its bun, then tugged nervously at the hem of her outfit. It was the same thing she’d be wearing the last time she’d helped her parents with catering, at the opening of the Ladybug and Chat Noir animated movie. The designer in her rebelled at wearing it again, but as Ladybug she was more than familiar with lucky charms. The last time she wore it, she ended up seated in the front row next to Adrien. That was good enough for her.

Although, just to be sure, she had worn her lucky socks as well.

“Marinette? Are you listening?”

She turned back to her dad, who was watching her with worry. “Don’t worry, papa, I understand. I’ve done this before, remember?”

“Yes, you have…” He acknowledged begrudgingly and shared a look with her mother, “Once.”

“And everything worked out fine!” She smiled took the platter with a pyramid of macaroons off his unresisting hands. “Today is going to go perfectly, all these rich people will love your work, the Agrestes are going to be super impressed and ask us on a date-”

“Marinette…” Tom sighed and wringed his hands.

“Sorry,” she said with a faint blush. “But seriously, papa, you don’t have to worry. I’ve got this - trust me!” She smiled her brightest and watched as he gave in.

From behind the table, Sabine said, “Remember, if you can hand them all out without any… accidents, then there is a ticket to the show in it for you. Courtesy of Mr. Agreste himself.”

“I won’t let you down!” She turned away and walked into the high society crowd.

Adrien forced out a polite laugh at a bad joke before excusing himself from the group he’d found himself in. He took a sip of his drink, sadly non-alcoholic, as he moved toward an empty corner of the room. His father wouldn’t appreciate him being anti-social, but some moments to himself were going to be the only way he was going to get through the next hour of schmoozing. The worst part was he didn’t recognize anyone here and most of them were much older than him. Sure there were some people he vaguely remembered, but that wasn’t enough to have a conversation over.

The process of psyching himself up to plaster a smile on his face and go back into it was derailed when the crowd parted just right and he caught sight of a familiar face. There was nothing fake about the eager grin he wore as he chased after Marinette. A few people tried to snag his attention as he ducked between them, but after a few muttered excuses and apologies he dragged himself away. He stood in the spot where he had seen her and looked around, smiling fading as the moments passed without a sign of her. Just as he was about to resign himself to his secluded corner, he heard her laugh briefly over the din of the party.

Moving quickly, he laid eyes on her again. He had ample time to take in her appearance as he closed the distance. The black and white outfit was the same that she’d worn the day Animaestro attacked Paris, and it was exactly as adorable as he remembered it being. With a sly smirk, he crept up behind her and snagged a macaroon.

She spun in place with a grace he was unused to seeing from her. “I hope you enjoy, sir-”

In that exact moment, she realized who she was speaking to. In her surprise, she nearly dropped her platter, barely catching it before the few remaining treats slid off. They locked eyes as Adrien took a bite from the snack.

“Hey, boss. I wasn’t expecting you to be here.”

It was fascinating to him to see her expression so quickly change from panic to ease. There was still a touch of red to her cheeks, which was no doubt from hustling through the crowd, and a small smile found its way to her face.

“H-hey, Adrien. It’s a nice party your dad is throwing.”

His mouth twitched and his smile dimmed. “Yes. Too bad father couldn’t show up personally, but that’s usually how these things go. It’s almost part of his brand at this point.” He finished the macaroon. “How are you enjoying it?”

“Well… um.” She bit her lip and looked to the side while Adrien waited patiently. “I’m looking forward to the fashion show part!”

“You got tickets? That’s awesome! Hopefully we’ll be sitting next to each other again.”

Marinette seemed about to say something before glancing over his shoulder, frowning in worry. He followed her gaze to see her parents standing at a table with a few more platters of goods in front of them, a handful of people snagging some snacks as they passed.

“Looks like you guys might be taking some macaroons home with-” When he looked back at her, she had left. Did he say something wrong?

He’d just made up his mind to try to find her and ask - apologizing, if need be - when he heard something like evil laughter from the room next door. The crowd went quiet and a worried murmur passed through them. Reluctantly he shelved the idea of following Marinette. He could find her after the akuma fight.

The akuma was yelling about something. Maybe it had something to do with their motivation for being akumatized and why he was being chased by two pairs of giant fabric scissors, but there were far more pressing issues to deal with right now. Then again, Adrien wouldn’t exactly call it an ‘issue’...

“It’s so cute!” He cooed at Ladybug, eyes wide as he took every moment he could spare to stare at his partner. Instead of her usual pigtails, her hair was up in a bun, and he’d been unable to stop noticing this fact for the entire battle.

She pinched the bridge of her bridge of her nose, still twirling her yoyo with her other hand. “Chat! Focus. We need to beat this akuma.”

“Right, right.” He smacked a pair of scissors to the ground, hoping they’d stay there for a while. He flexed the claws on his ring hand. “Cataclysm time?”

“Save it for now. Let me try a lucky charm first. Keep them off me?” She took a few steps away from the fight while Adrien settled into a defensive stance.

“As you wish, m’lady.”

His back was turned to her as he doubled down on his efforts to hold back the akuma of the day, beating back the advance of a ream of fabric rearing back like a cobra at him. When he heard her call out for a lucky charm, he waited a few moments and yelled over his shoulder.

“Any ideas? What are we working with?”

“I… It didn’t work,” she said in a shocked whisper. He glanced over his shoulder to see her looking at her empty hands, dumbfounded.

“Wait, what? Why?”

Her lips became a thin line as she rushed up beside him. “I don’t know! We’ll have to figure that out later. Can you use yours?”

“Sure.” He took a step back, letting Ladybug take his place and called out for the power of destruction. When he finished his pose, he didn’t feel the substantial rush of energy he usually did. “Um… Ladybug? It didn’t work.”

“That’s just great. First my lucky charm and now your cataclysm-” Her eyes widened when her non-yoyo wielding hand began to thrum with a dark force. “Ch-chat?!”

His eyes widened as he stared slack jawed at the display. “How- That’s…” He slow clapped appreciatively. “Well done, m’lady!”

She was holding her hand as far away from her as possible. “No! Not well done! This feels terrifying! How do you deal with this?!”

He shrugged and batted aside another attack. “Well, I don’t usually don’t have it turned on for very long. It’s better just to not think about it.”

Narrowing her eyes at the energy that seemed to suck the light out of the surrounding air, she asked him, “Chat, can you say ‘lucky charm’ for me?”

“For you? Anything.” He struck the same pose she normally did and shouted out, “Lucky Charm!”

The rush of energy felt familiar - it ran through all the usual parts of his body before being channeled outside it. Granted, it normally pooled in his hand, but that was a minor difference compared to how… wrong the power felt rushing through him. Although ‘wrong’ wasn’t an entirely accurate description. It felt unfamiliar in the same way a half forgotten memory was unfamiliar - distant, but faintly recognitizable.

He didn’t have a chance to dwell on it as a black with lime green cat paw prints object landed in his hands. It took him a few moments of blinking stupidly at it to realize it was a comically large egg beater.

“Uh… Ladybug?”

Later that night, they agreed to meet up at Notre Dame. They had originally intended to meet at the Eiffel Tower, but Ladybug had asked to move it to the venerable cathedral since she wasn’t feeling well, for whatever reason. Adrien obliged, and he was glad he did as he shivered in silence. As bad it was right now, it would only be worse up in the open heights of the Tower. Had it been this cold all day? It certainly felt like the temperature dropped heavily, even if his baton claimed it had been the same as usual.

“Hey, kitty.” He turned around to see Ladybug ambling towards him, clutching her stomach with a pained look.

“My lady! Are you okay?” He rushed forward, only for her to wave him off.

“Fine. It’s not worse than what I deal with monthly, just… unexpected is all.” She seemed to notice his shivering. “Chaton… are you cold? Usually I’m the one cuddling up to you for warmth.” She stepped closer to him until she was practically bumping shoulders with him. He sighed in relief as her body heat fought back the chill.

As he rubbed her back gently, he murmured, “What a mess we are, lady love.”

“You aren’t wrong,” she said with a sigh. “Maybe this has something to do with channeling our opposite powers?”

He tapped his chin as he considered it. “I mean, I guess that makes sense for you? Creation channeling destruction sounds like it could make you sick. But why would that make me cold?” He shrugged. “I’m not much for this magic talk. We should bring it up when we talk to Fu next.”

“Yeah, but before we do that, I wanted to see if our powers are still swapped.” She stood straight and took a step back from Chat Noir, who immediately felt her loss. Or at least the loss of her heat. “Ready?”

At his nod, they both called out to their usual powers and Adrien breathed a sigh of relief as his cataclysm flared to life in his claws. He even felt a little warmer as he touched a pebble on the building, causing it to crumble into dust. When he looked back up, Ladybug was staring at a circular object she was holding in her hands.

“Huh, I’ve always been curious what would happen if you made a Lucky Charm outside of battle. What did it make?”

“Take a look,” she said while turning the disc over in her hands, showing him what looked like a stone ying yang symbol in red and lime green.

“That’s… something.” He scratched his head. “Think it means anything?”

“Probably. It’s not like the miraculous hasn’t sent me messages through the lucky charms before. I’m not entirely sure what it’s trying to tell me though. I already knew we balance each other out.”

“Maybe it’s trying to tell you we’re soulmates.” He waggled his eyebrows and leaned in, only to be pushed away by the nose.

“Or maybe not. Something else to think about, I guess. I’m just glad our powers are back in order.” She hefted the stone and tossed it in the air. “Miraculous Ladybug!”

They blinked in confusion as a single magical ladybug was summoned and gently drifted over to the tiny pebble Adrien had destroyed. Once the pebbled was restored, the tiny bug vanished. Adrien looked back to Ladybug and they shared a disbelieving stare before bursting into laughter.

It didn’t last long before Ladybug was clutching her stomach again and the wind made Adrien begin shivering again. With brief goodbyes said to the tune of beeping miraculous, they headed home.

Marinette dropped into her bedroom just as her transformation gave out. Another close call, or maybe Tikki was just that good at holding out. If that was the case, then Tikki definitely deserved the sleep she immediately got as she landed on the little makeshift bed Marinette had made her - something devised after one too many times of Marinette rolling over onto her.

She gently stroked Tikki’s head as she pushed her thoughts of the day to the back of her head - for now. There would be plenty of time later to figure things out. Maybe not tomorrow, since she had a study session with Adrien after school, but definitely soon.

Just as she got settled, she sneezed and sniffled, but she could already feel the nausea fading away. She’d be fine tomorrow, but only if she got a good night’s sleep tonight.

1. Do you bite your nails? I have bursts of it that turn on and off. I usually develop the habit when I’m at a particularly anxiety-filled period, then I stop when things get back to normal. 2. When was the last time you had ice cream? A couple of weeks ago when I finished the remaining cookies and cream ice cream in the tub. 3. Would you ever get a tattoo? What are you listening to? There’s constant chatter around since I’m in school, but someone is also playing the grand piano downstairs at the lobby. I don’t recognize the tune, though. 9. Are you supersitious? I follow like one superstition, and don’t really care for the rest. That’s saying a lot considering Filipinos are incredibly superstitious. 10. 1) Their age?

He struggled with it for a while, but now he’s openly pansexual. Anyone who’s nice to him for a while he’ll become attracted to

3) Any siblings?

Phoenix has a little brother called Baxter! Baxter is 12 years old. They have a great sibling relationship; they trust each other and always look out for one another

4) Their favourite season?

Autumn/Winter. He hates being too hot and sweating, and he loves wearing sweaters cuz he’s insecure about his arms

5) Who were/are their parents/guardians?

His parents were an artist and a musician, but they both died when he was 8-9 years old. His foster parents do not get along with him at all and they have arguments on the daily. Since joining the Lunar Bond, Phoenix lives with the other members and doesn’t visit them at all; he only sees his brother outside of the house

6) Their gender?

Cis male

7) Their date of birth?

3rd September! (side note; I always do a drawing for his birthday, I’ll be sure to post it here this year!)

8) What clothing style?

He prioritises being comfy over everything else. He always wears a pair of ripped black skinny jeans and old, beaten up sneakers. He’ll often wear a long sleeved t-shirt or an oversized hoodie/sweater; the biggest one he owns goes down to his knees! He’ll also sometimes wear earrings (he has a cartilage piercing and both lobes pierced). He’ll never wear anything in public that shows off his arms or legs

9) What is their favourite food after a break up?

No food. He doesn’t eat. He might drink some water if he gets a headache from thirst. And he’ll spend the rest of the time crying or sleeping. He’s melodramatic help him

10) Their favourite thing to do after a break up?

As mentioned earlier, crying and sleeping. Also listening to sad music. Help him please I’m begging

11) What happens in “the honeymoon phase” for this character?

He’s constantly buying gifts. And wants to see them every day. He becomes incredibly clingy and can sometimes get jealous. He’ll basically do anything for his S/O. He’ll turn up unannounced on their doorstep with flowers. Nobody in the Lunar Bond expects him to be like this at all, as his initial personality is so cold. However he is the most romantic person in the Lunar Bond by a long shot

12) How many serious relationships have they been in?

Three; one when he was 14-16, one from when he was 16-17 and one from recently to present day 👀

13) What is their nationality?

The Lunar Bond universe is set in a world different from our own, so I’ll just write the equivalent nationality. He’s white British

14) What languages do they speak?

He really wants to learn a language, however at the moment he only speaks English

15) What is their profession/education?

He’s currently a NEET. He dropped out of school due to anxiety and doesn’t have a job because he recently moved to the city and is too afraid to apply. In school, he did exceptionally well; he’s incredibly clever and always got straight A’s in all his classes. Perhaps when he comes out of his shell a little he’ll get a job doing something he loves

16) Their favourite comfort food?

Soup. Especially chicken noodle soup, as his mother used to make it for him. He’ll always have a bowl of soup if he’s feeling down

17) What is a food they hate?

Not a food, but he can’t stand coffee. He absolutely hates the bitter taste and can’t drink it because the caffeine makes him jittery

18) Their music taste?

Anything. His phone has all kinds of music, from contemporary pop to rock to classical to jazz. His father being a musician really helped him open his eyes to a broad range of music. The only kind of music he won’t listen to is screamo, as it’s too “noisy”. He has a preference towards calm songs as they help him feel relaxed, but he’ll listen to anything

19) Is there a story behind their name/meaning?

(For this question, I’ll write about the process of naming Phoenix!)

Originally, Phoenix’s name came from a name generator. I was struggling to find a name suitable for my main character that wasn’t too safe but also wasn’t too wacky and wild to the point where it wasn’t realistic, and it also had to suit the character. Once I saw the name Phoenix I just knew it fit him perfectly. At the start of the Lunar Bond story, he feels like he doesn’t suit his name; a Phoenix is fiery and always comes back after death and he feels that he is none of those things. However as the story progresses, Phoenix always rises back up after being knocked down. And as he opens up to his new friends, he becomes passionate and fiery about keeping them safe and close to him. He grows in the story to suit his name; he rises back up after every failure, and has the fire in his heart to protect those close to him

20) Something they do that seems childish to others?

He frequently gets lost in make believe worlds in his head. These mostly come from books he’s been reading, as he loves adventure and fantasy books. He’ll zone out for 30-90 minutes and daydream about being a part of a fantasy world; some people around him think that it’s childish as he’s not grounded in reality

21) What is their all time favourite TV show?

He doesn’t watch TV. At all. He didn’t really watch TV when he was younger either. He plays video games occasionally, but he mainly reads books or watches films

22) What is their all time favourite movie?

(I’ll write the real-world equivalent of Phoenix’s favourite films here!)

It changes depending on his mood. Hes indecisive and can’t choose a favourite. If he wants to relax, he likes animated films like Kiki’s Delivery Service. He also likes superhero movies like The Avengers. He also likes classics like The Shining.

23) How big is their family?

Incredibly small. His only blood relative he has left is his brother Baxter. Both his parents were only children, so he doesn’t have any aunts, uncles or cousins. Both his sets of grandparents died when he was very young

24) Are they close to anyone specific in their family?

As his only remaining blood relative, Phoenix is very close to Baxter. They tell each other everything and not a day goes by where they don’t talk to each other, at least on the phone or through texts. For the majority of his life, Baxter saw Phoenix as more of a parent figure as oppose to a brother as Phoenix would always look after him. Baxter also doesn’t remember his parents so relies on Phoenix to tell him about them and what they were like

25) Have they got any allergies?

Not in terms of food, but his skin is incredibly sensitive. He can’t use products that are too scented or he’ll get a rash. He also can’t use aftershave for the same reason, so he’s stuck using the same soaps that he knows for a fact won’t irritate his skin

26) Are they an emotional person?

Yes. He’s incredibly emotional. However, he won’t let it show in front of other people. To people who don’t know him well, Phoenix is cold, stoic and sharp tongued, and pushes away those who try and get close to him. He’s terrified of getting hurt, so he doesn’t allow people near him. On the inside, Phoenix is lonely and begging for someone to support him. When he’s alone, he lets out all of his emotions. He’ll punch a pillow if he’s angry, he’ll cry himself to sleep if he’s sad, he’ll giggle like a schoolboy if he’s happy. There’s only one person who can see straight through him... 👀

27) Do they get angry/lose their temper quickly?

He doesn’t get angry easily, but he’s easily irritated. He will never yell at someone or start an argument unless they’ve really touched a nerve. He will never start a physical fight with someone either. His anxiety makes him easily irritable, so he might tell someone sternly to leave him alone but that’s about as far as it goes the majority of the time

28) What are some of their guilty pleasures?

Animated films, and when he was a kid he was secretly into musical films aimed predominately at young girls (e.g. High School Musical). He still knows all the words to the songs to this day

Other than the teen musicals he watched in secret as a kid? Sure! He has to be in the right mood to watch a musical though. He only watches musicals that are made into films; he’d be way too intimidated to go and watch one on stage

He tolerates it. He doesn’t love it or hate it. He’ll eat it if it’s there but he won’t go and buy a jar of it

An overly emotional drunk. All his feelings come spilling out everywhere and he’ll be crying or laughing hysterically or yelling. If he has an S/O he’ll become even more clingy than he is usually

43) Did they ever get drunk while underage?

Yes. He got drunk with his ex-boyfriend when he was 15. Nothing too bad happened; he just ended up spending 3 hours telling said ex-boyfriend how much he loves him. Technically in some countries he’s still underage (however the drinking age where he lives is 18 so it’s all good!)

44) What is the first thing they do when they wake up?

He checks the time on his phone so he knows what day it is and what time it is, as he’s been known to spend a long time sleeping. He’ll then make himself some tea

45) Do they consider themselves to be popular?

Absolutely not. Phoenix spends a lot of time worrying that his new friends in the Lunar Bond don’t actually like him, and that they’re being nice because they feel like they have to be nice to their teammate. Among the members of the Lunar Bond, he’s actually fairly popular and thought of highly; but he’ll never believe them if they say that to his face

46) How do they like their tea/coffee?

Tea: Depends on the type. He’ll drink loose leaf teas slightly weaker as they have a stronger flavour, so brewing time is lessened. He drinks green tea fairly strong. Some teas such as vanilla rooibos he’ll drink black, but other teas such as Lady Grey he’ll add some milk. Some teas such as Lapsang Souchong he’ll drink weaker with a little sugar

Coffee: In the trash. Where it belongs. At least in his opinion

47) What do they smell like?

Lemon and tea tree body wash, as that’s the only one he likes that doesn’t irritate his skin. Also second hand books

He needs reading glasses as he’s slightly long sighted, but it’s not so bad that he has to wear them all the time. He wears them fairly often as he’s nearly always reading, and he just forgets to take them off

Yes. He doesn’t even need to write them down. He remembers dates from weird things, such as when he got his new glasses or when he got his ears pierced. He never forgets a birthday or anniversary and always buys gifts far ahead of time

11. How many OCs do you have? Introduce them

OOF, I have 44 if I haven’t forgotten anyone lmaooo but here goes (introducing them in no particular order)

1. Booty = my first oc ever made. She came to life in 2015 when I was showing my friends the butt of an anime girl as a joke. It was all fun and jokes but for some reason despite me joking around she became the most serious and strickt oc. She’s pretty much the mom friend

2. Up = my second oc ever made. She’s really carefree and loud. I made her in class when I listened to the song “Up” by olly murs and demi lovato. She’s the complete opposite of booty and she gets stressed out by up the most out of all 44 oc's

3. Delta = my third oc ever made. He died as a normal dude and then got turned into an android. He’s really quiet and usually in a bad mood. Would kill people a lot more if it weren’t so bothersome

4. Vision = He’s blind. That’s right, i’m a cruel mother who names her blind child Vision. Anyway, he’s a really kind dude who gets along with a bunch of people. The cool uncle in the group

5. Mokka = A half cat half human boyo. In the story people who’re pure animals have both animal ears and tails while mokka only has a tail. Had cat headphones in his old design because he hated his human part thanks to his mom who neglected and hated him for not being a pure breed (she cheated on her husb. And he left her because of her cheating so she now gives mokka the fault for that), but in his newer design he grew older and accepted his human part. Grumpy guy who flirts a lot but who’s really bad at it. Also he’s real good with computers. oh AND he’s a Prince

6. Tiptoes = alright, don’t judge me for the weird names, I made her when I listened to the song “Tiptoes” by Jayme dee. She was originally a dancer, but in her new design I made a cheerleader out of her. Still, she loves all kinds of dances and she’s really fit. She’s quite cheeky and will nag on grumpy people like mokka

7. Neta = ah yes, the oc who I probably draw the most. She’s a dog who’s really into fashion lmao. She’s really quiet and collected and really popular with the guys, but at some point I made up the fact that she’s a meme dealer and I decided that I have to keep that personality trait at all costs

8. Enno = Netas twin brother, but they’re the complete opposite. Enno doesn’t care if he gets dirty or not and he will definitely fight anyone who just looks at him weird. Tough guy, but a complete dumbass who probably can’t even count to 10. Very clingy though if he likes someone

9. Latty = Neta’s and Enno’s wolf cousin. She’s really loud and really stupid. Wants to be like neta. Gets bullied a lot because out of all the wolfes in her pack she’s the only one who has a white streak in her black hair. But she’s quite the optimist and is practically amazed by everything she encounters

10. Live = The goddess of Life. She’s really calm and gentle. She can revive dead beings, heal beings and it’s said that she’s the reason babies of both animals and humans are born. Really friendly, laughs a lot

11. Chi = Live’s evil cousin. Her parents were salty that they didn’t become gods as well and that they were left off with the Knight job where they have to protect the gods and gave their hatred onto their daughter. Chi basically murdered a bunch of gods and wanted to kill her cousin as well but the other gods stopped her and locked her away. Will act like a trust worthy person to get what she wants. Mind games are her thing

12. Mocchi = A bubbly normal girl who just sees the best in everyone. Real optimist, can befriend everyone. Is there for you if you’re having a hard day

13. Zadora = I was really inspired by a horse I knew lmao. Small shy girl who’s scared of a lot of things, especially strangers and big crowds. Kinda awkward but makes a good friend who’s always happy to spend some time with you. Loves her friends and family a lot

14. Lium = Quiet demon dude who is really awkward. He could put people on fire with his supernatural abilities, but chooses to be nice since he just wants some friends. Gets terrorized by his look alike twin a lot, but he got used to it

15. Laru = Lium’s evil twin. Will melt the ice cream of a little girl just for the laughs. Picks on his brother a whole lot but if someone else picks on Lium then Laru will snap their neck in half. Basically wants his brother to become evil and do bad things but he’s not quite succeeding. Good friends with Chi

16. Frei = A fox spirit lady who actually lived in a shrine but then decided to travel. Real carefree and somewhat of a hippy. Really chill person, great to hang out with

17. G = another android who got build for the military but then got replaced by newer models (I made him before dbh was a thing). Is a killer machine on the battlefield but will pick a rose and just give it to the nearest person when not on the battlefield. Really protective, he basically has it programmed into his brain to fight the enemy and to protect the innocent. Would be an A+ dad

18. Majo = A small witch girl who’s pretty much an asshole. Will scream if she won’t get what she wants and will laugh at you if you’re dumb enough to give it to her. Fucks with people, not in a horrible cruel way but putting a dollar on the ground and then pulling it away whenever someone tries to pick it up is basically her go to thing

19. Shepper = A Sheep boy who’s the biggest pushover, only because he’s so awkward and kind. Will listen to your worries but it’s easy to make him get and do stuff for you only because he can’t say No. Will cuddle you and sing you a lullaby if you’re having trouble sleeping. Gets pushed around by Majo 24/7 but he sees it more as baby sitting since Majo is younger than him

20. Twen = my 20th oc! Get it? Twenty? Hhhhhhhhh,,,,, anyways, he’s a boy with a lot of energy and a passion for football/soccer. Like, he REALLY loves that sport, he will fight anyone who says that It’s bad. Basically your typical white boy. Still a nice dude, he’s a good sport

21. Rhett = tall dragon boyo. Really shy but also really gentle. Works as a servant and enjoys it. Will breathe fire if he’s getting really flustered. Scared that he will hurt someone with his tail or just with his big size in general. “You want to shake my hand? Let me bow instead since I don’t want to hurt you"

22. Morgen = a girl who I’ll have to redesign soon because OOF. I made her after listening to "Morgen Stern” by Rammstein. Basically, she’s really ugly and wishes to the stars that she becomes beautiful like all the other girls. Has her face covered up by bandages which I’ll probably change into a mask lmao. Really sad girl, scared to look people into their eyes. She also gets bullied a lot, and she cuts herself. Morgen hates herself and wishes she would be someone else

23. Rema = there are a few similarities between him and Morgen. Rema’s whole body is covered in scars thanks to his mom who hurt him a lot when he was little. She pretty much destroyed his whole face and then called him ugly. After being called ugly for a bunch of years he grew up to believe that he’s ugly. He came into an orphanage after his mom left him on the streets in the middle of nowhere, so in the orphanage he found a mask which he wears since then. Calls himself ugly and believes that other people think that he’s ugly as well but pretty much no one really cares. Real scared to take off his mask. He’s kinda awkward but makes a good buddy. Will tell you that you’re beautiful 24/7

24. Kairi = a now zombie girl. She worked in a circus but got killed there by some of her co workers, killed everyone in the circus and basically took over the role as the circus director. Now the circus is closed but the few stupid people who visit the long abandoned circus die there by the ghosts of the people who Kairi killed. She’s Chaotic evil, has a lot of fun when killing. Also mourns over her life when she was still alive

25. Cchia = ayyy, remember Mokka? This is his half sister. The beloved daughter who can do everything better. Mokka can’t really stand her that much even though Cchia is super supportive and nice towards him. She always got all the praise by their mom because she’s a full cat and was made by both the king and the queen and not by the queen and some normal human dude who the queen had a nice night with, so mokka kinda dislikes her, but she was the only one who stood up for him when he needed it, so he also feels kinda bad for disliking her. She was the one who gave him his cat headphones to make him feel more part of the family. She’s basically amazing at everything but she knows jack shit about technology

26. Melior = Pretty much Aph Poland but as a bunny.

27. Kureiji = He’s a lot like Up but with a shot temper. One second he laughs and the next second he will destroy a whole house if something happened that made him angry. He’s one of the older oc’s but he’s basically a child. Also, really strong like oof, where does he get all his strength from when he’s just a mortal dude

28. Joycake = I was listening to a song and it sounded like the girl who was singing said “joycake” and I went “wow, that’s a nice name!!!” So yeah. A really energetic and popular girl. Does dumb jokes and is kinda paranoid. Is a model actually. Does not know what personal space is until she needs it herself. Will fight people for 2 cents, also gets breakdowns quite easily

29. Mirai = Joy’s twin sister (so many twins in this family). Again the complete opposite of her sister as with every twin what I literally just now noticed. Really serious and doesn’t understand a lot of fun. Hates her sister, like, if someone would throw a rock at joy then mirai would probably just keep walking. A hipster, listens to jazz on a rainy day while sitting on her laptop at starbucks. Wears oversized jackets and has messy braided hair like literally always

30. Blini = ANOTHER android. She’s like 10 cm tall. Has to get charged with her tail like charger which comes out of her back/butt. Turns red if empty, yellow if half full and green if completely full. Gets angry at everyone, except for little kids. Has to get carried 24/7. Will put a virus on your computer if she hates you

31. Destiny = the goddess of,,, Destiny. She decides what happens to people and how things turn out. Has a deep history with live. She’s really quiet and can be really serious if she has to be, but deep down she’s just a awkward lady who doesn’t know how to make friends. Takes her job real seriously

32. Faith = Trans woman! Loves life and is just a really gentle person. Another mom friend but in a kind way, unlike booty who will yell at everyone because she’s worried. Will crochet you a blanket if you’re cold

33. Mattis = awkward dad friend who’s in love with Faith. Has never fought anyone but will act intimidating if he has to. Has good advice to give. Real quiet, doesn’t talk much but he’s a great listener

34. Péja = so many androids! I swear that I made them all before dbh was out! A android specifically made for taking care of the household and little kids. Quite a cheeky android who jokes around a lot. Can easily beat the asses of 5 guys at once and will do so. Gives horrible advice, she really doesn’t know what she’s talking about

35. Bennett = another fox spirit. He doesn’t work at a shrine like Frei does, but works for a specific royal family. Basically, the queen was about to get hanged so she ran into the woods with her baby because she knew that a spirit lived there and asked him to take care of her child. He’s pretty much a nanny now. A real gentle man who respects nature and every creature on it. Bad at fighting but good at hiding. Great with kids

36. Temmie = A ghost lady who died as a kid but still aged as a ghost??? Idk what I was thinking there. She lived in a house with her parents who were alcoholics and who beat her more than once a day. She chose to not speak anymore since whenever she opened her mouth her parents already told her to shut up. At some point she tried to run away from home but got hit by a truck and died. Now she’s a friendly ghost who’s just kinda hanging around

37: Totengräber = Their name basically means “dead digger”, which is a grave digger. They are some kind of supernatural being who usually lives on graveyards. They dig out the coffins in order to take the souls out of the deceased bodies and to feast on them which gives them their supernatural powers. They’re quite the trickster but all in all very friendly and usually they befriend the local grave keeper. Can become both genders or neither if they wish so. They can also turn into a beast

38: Błysk = a old ass dragon man, who acts like a snob and a ladies man. Has tattoos all over his body and is not scared to show em off by walking around completely naked. A real dumbass who doesn’t know much. A “collector” dragon, if he sees something pretty then he will keep it. He’s not awkward or shy but he’s been living alone for so long that he kinda forgot how to have a proper conversation with other people

39. Damien = A dude who kills all of his girlfriend’s. He falls in love, after a while he gets the feeling that she doesn’t love him anymore and kills her. Usually he scrapes off the meat from the bones and eats it but sometimes he also just buries the corpses in the woods to which he lives close to. He’s been searching for his one true love since forever and once he finds her he is not going to ever let her go again. Will probably tie her down in his basement. Real horny. Really good at making friends and great at acting like he’s just a normal dude but pretty much has two sides which got used to working with each other. Cannot be trusted, he’s real good at lying and making things up to his favour

40. Ghost man who I don’t have a name for yet = he lives in the snowy mountains together with a bunch of little creatures which contain the souls of little kids who ended up dying on that mountain. Real dad, loves all his children. Really chill and sleepy 24/7 but he doesn’t sleep since he’s already dead. Means no harm, he’s just there to take care of the little one's

41. Zombie girl #2 who I don’t have a name for yet = Do you know the movie “Warm bodies”? I didn’t take inspiration from that movie, but it’s pretty much this girl who’s the only zombie who can even remotely think and act like a normal person. She was on a trip with her camping school club since she loves nature and all, so when they arrived she decided it was the perfect time to hang herself since she had bad depression and tried to kill herself a few times before. But while she was on her way to find a good hanging spot the other campers got eaten by a few of the first zombies. She hang herself and died but like two minutes later she opened her eyes and just went “Why does god hate me”, since the zombies ate a part of her and so “revived” her lmao. She’s smiling 24/7 even while she’s trying to find a new way of killing herself. Numb inside but still friendly. Has no intention of eating people

42. Yvette = a ghost boy who’s soul wandered off onto an island where it then possessed the life size puppet which was made by “the doctor”. Originally the doctor was hoping that a female soul enters the body since he wanted to have sex with it but once he noticed that a child soul entered the body he threw it out. Yvette sees the doctor as his dad now. He’s a friendly little fella who cannot remember his past, so now he lives on an island with either crazy or dead people. Seeing a half dead person who got sewed onto the body of a cow is something completely normal for him. Thinks that if humans loose all of their limbs that they’re not going to die since everyone on the island is already not a living human being anymore. Sees the right hand (who’s called Espen) of the doctor as his brother. Gets pushed around by Espen a lot. He’s a child,he just needs some love

43. Voks = one of Yvettes friends. She’s made out of bones, rotten flesh and wax. “The professor” who also lives on that island made her. She’s really supportive, curious and happy, but she has to keep the power of her soul quite high so that the wax that is all around her body stays soft and flexible. If it gets too hot then all the wax will melt off, only leaving the rotten corpse from some kid behind. If it gets too cold then she won’t be able to move. Could kill a bunch of people on one spot

44. Rakel = a deer slasher lady who lives in the norwegian woods. She leaves the woods only to get some sheep which she will take with her and devour. She’s real scared of adults, so if one goes into her forest then she will feel threatened and impale them with her pointy legs and also eat them afterwards. If a human child goes into the forest then she will either take it back to the border of the woods or take it with her to her barn where she will try to take care of the child herself which sadly usually ends up in the child’s death. Rakel always tries her best to keep them alive, but sometimes a little baby just can’t live off of a sheep cadaver. If someone goes deep into the forest then they will never find out again. Even if they put out a trail of some sort, it will just circle them right back to the middle of the forest. Rakel is the only one who knows how to leave the forest without getting lost. She really just wants to be left alone

25. What inspired you to create them / how did youcreate them? Were they originally a fan character? What was their personality /design like when you first made them?Nicky needing someone to ground her and to keep her from going off the rails was what inspired her creation. Despite y’all being introduced to Em for a fic, she wasn’t actually for that, she was initially a fandomless piece. She’s still quite similar to who she was when first created, at the core of her, but has become more criminal to fit into this world.

Emmy changed her life and gave Nic a reason to live. Least important, Trisitian Cooper, the worst possible human being, he’s important because he’s responsible for so much trauma.

27. What kind of childhood did your character have?A strange one. Jacob was a half decent father but a bad man. and yknow a lot of trauma happened as well.

28. What kind of nervous habits do they have? Dothey stim? Do they have any kinds of addictions?When she gets nervous, she shuffles between her feet. She can’t stay still. She’s a recovering addict.

29. If they could choose their epitaph for theirgrave, what would they choose?It’d probably be something witty depending on the circumstances of her death. Or something that implies she’s a ghost.

30. Do they want to get married? Why or why not?Would they ever want kids? Do they have kids? Why?It’s complicated topic for her. Like I think deep down she’d want to get married and have kids, but she doesn’t want to bring them into the world she’s apart of.

31. What is their most traumatic memory/experience?What is their favorite memory?Traumatic memory, well there’s a lot. Everything that went down with Tristian. Jacob’s death. Blowing out her knee when she was 14. Favourite memory, getting custody of Emmy!! Becoming a god parent to Nate and Jordan’s daughter

32. If they could have one thing in the world, whatwould it be?Freedom. Complete freedom.

She worries about what happens if she gets caught. Doesn’t really have that much of an imagination so doesn’t daydream that much.

41. What does your character do when they’re angry? Why?Normally tries to walk away, because she has her father’s temper and can do things that she’d regret.

42. Does your character have any scars? Where did they getthem from? She has a lot of track marks in the inner corner of her left elbow, got them as a result of her drug addiction. Has a faint scar around her knee because she had to have surgery to fix it after blowing it out.

Trechire

A short bio of sorts, edited from curiousscientistkae, because it was an awesome idea! Go check out their original post!

Note: Sorry for any typos. Also, beware of fanfiction trash. 1) Age? >In ESO she’s about a hundred and fifty some years old. >By Oblivion time, things get tricky because of time travel fuckery. Technically she’s over 2,000 some years old, but in reality she hasn’t aged past two hundred yet. >She’s still alive by Skyrim, well “alive” as one can be when forever trapped in the Shivering Isles, so I guess by then she’s ageless? 2) Gender? >Female 3) Romantic/Sexual Orientation? >Heterosexual, even if dunmer women seem to be incredibly attracted to her. 4) Height? >She takes right after Papa Vanus with his height, then has her mother’s thickness, making her a, in her own words, “palamino clysdale” 5) Race? >Altmer Werewolf

6) What do they look like? (i.e, hair color, eye color, etc). >Golden skin with honey brown hair. >Got Vanus’ baby blue eyes. 7) Any disabilities? >She has quite a bit of anxiety problems, needing to take lavender infused potions once a day in order to not explode. >Also has trouble eating in public, prefering to dine alone. Even as a werewolf, when hunting. 8) Is there a meaning to their name? >Her name is a combo of her parents’ names. “Trechtus” + “Caafire” = “Trechire” 9) What makes them, them? >She had a nasty habit for a while in being a hermit. Her guildmates had to drag her out to socialize, and when her anxiety spurred on minor seizures, that only got worse. This is when she sought Hircine, as she “was tired of feeling like prey to her own mind”. Being a Hound of Hircine pushes her to retain a sharp wit, and sound mind, constantly battling the bloodlust of the beast. It’s what motivated her to get out, forced her to confront her weaknesses and learn to cope with them. Saving Vivec, saving the Clockwork City, and then saving Summerset was not her simply being a brave hero. It’s expected of her, seeking “worthy prey”. She doesn’t like to settle for anything easy anymore, like a simple hunt of a unicorn or some other great beast. To her, knowledge and adventure are the greatest “hunts”, cutting down any “prey” that may get in her way, even if it may be a daedric prince or two.

10) What do they want to be when they grow up/what do they want to do with their lives? >When she was younger, all she wanted was a husband that loved her, children, and to live a happy, humble life together with her family. She still wanted a husband and children after the many events of ESO, but no longer saw it as an “easy” outcome, but some sort of prize she had to earn and obtain. >Ironically, she did, but that husband became Sheogorath, and now she has three demi-prince children. And all this AFTER losing her first lover in Coldharbor, but carrying their child. >Still, she IS at peace in the Isles as Sheo’s wife...so kinda nailed it? Family 11) Do they have parents? What are they like and how do they act with their child(ren)? >Vanus Galerion and Caafire Saelinwatch >Caafire was always very protective and at times smothering of Trechire, having anxiety problems of her own and worrying over her daughter to no end. >Vanus was always very gentle and encouraging to his daughter, always soft and quiet when instructing her and being mindful of her limits. He was always a completely different mer at home among the privacy of his family than when in public, the boasting “Great Mage”.

12) Do they have siblings? How do they interact with them? If not, do they wish they had siblings? >Nope. Trechire is an only child, as Caafire is very sensative to magic, and the pregnacy almost killed her, thanks to Vanus’ genes kicking in. Seriously, Caafire couldn’t touch any metal for the last month and a half or she had a horrible chance of getting zapped to the bone. 13) Extended family? Do they see them often? >Vanus’ family is obviously not in the picture. >Caafire’s family were nobles, and did not approve of Caafire’s marriage to Vanus, a former serf, and so none of them are in touch with the three. 14) Do they like where they live? (Is it a safe place?) >They had a few small homes located throughout Tamriel, as Vanus often had to travel, of course, for the Guild. So they frequently were moving around, but none of them complained much about that. It also helped to make it harder for the Worm Cult to keep tabs on them, as of course they were always prime targets. 15) Where do they live? Are they wealthy? Poor? Middle-Class? > For all their lives, the Galerion family was middle class. They did well enough to survive, travel, and eat. 16) Do they have a lot of expectations/pressure on them from family to do great? >Vanus never personally put pressure on his daughter. If anything he tried to deflect it from her, especially when her anxiety took a turn for the worse. However, this did not stop from others looking to her with expectations. When the Mage’s Guild really took off, suddenly Trechire was surrounded but mages who were curious why she wasn’t much further along in her skill, or just questioning her various schooling perks in general. Many had it set in the mindset of the entire guild that she would one day take her father’s place as the Guildmaster, which she had no desire to. 17) Do they have pets? >They had quite a few cats along the years in the various little homes, but Trechire was given a Moss Netch Calf when she finally moved out, a Champion of Vivec, and had her own pent house on Vvardenfell. She loved that little thing to pieces. 18) Who do they look up to the most/are the closest to in their family? >Trechire always looked up to both her parents. Caafire came from a very strict and stressful family, Caafire herself having horrible anxiety problems that could have easily taken her over the edge if she hadn’t met Vanus. Trechire looks to both her parents as examples that horrible things will always happen to good people, but that doesn’t mean the good people can’t fight and work their way back to solid ground. There’s always a chance. 19) This there anything special about their family? >Besides Vanus being the Great Mage? 20) Do they wish they lived in a different family/household? >Never. Her blood family, her packmates under Hircine… Trechire loved them all, even if neither of the two groups could EVER know about each other. Friends 21) Best Friend(s)? >Trechire became incredibly good friends with Aithilo Raamando, a dunmer wizard who lived in both Valenwood and Vvvardenfell. She also grew close to a fellow Altmer named Raveoov, spending a lot of time together fighting side-by-side during the Planemeld. Both followed a daedric prince, and Trechire felt enormous relief at being around others like her, as she constantly kept her alliance to Hircine a secret, even from her folks. >Vivec himself, as the two often had lunch together after the events in ESO. I can not begin to explain how emotionally wounded Trechire was when she was plummeted through time itself, and among the numerous startling and straining things she had lost to time, Vivec, who she thought was immune to slipping away, had just vanished. 22) Who was their first friend? >Her first friend was another altmer girl who sadly became too busy in her role among Summerset’s daily buzz, and the two drifted apart. 23) What is their friend group like? >Mer. Mostly mer. She has no problem with any of the other races, and was always confused why she didn’t have more human or beast folk friends. She always chatted with people in the guild, and then with the guards around Vivec’s palace, but none of them were ever close friends. 24) Do they have a love/hate relationship with any of them? >Later on Trechire and Raveoov became rather rocky for reasons I’ll explain further down this bio post. 25) Do they consider any of their friends to be like siblings? >Aithilo is very much like a brother, and he treats her like a little sister. He was the one who rescued her when she was catapulted through time, after all. 26 & 27) Have they ever hurt a friend or lost one? Do they have a crush on any of their friends? >This is where things got rocky with Raveoov. There was a time when Trechire felt something towards him, but it was a minor crush and her feelings didn’t develop any further towards him. Raveoov, however, very much was in love with her, and so took it very harshly when she didn’t feel the same way. They tried to remain friends, but so many things happens between the countless centuries and two eras that both agree it’s for the best they don’t communicate much anymore. By Skyrim, they no longer are at each other’s throats, but they just don’t keep in touch at all. It’s for the best.

28) Do they share classes with good friends? >Trechire was taught personally by her father, and then by skilled Wardens in Valenwood, but sadly none of her closer friends shared these teachers. 29) Whom do they go to the most when they need a shoulder to cry on? >Aithilo, more than anyone, sometimes more than her parents. 30) What would this person do without their friends in their lives? >Perhaps the crazed, bloodthirsty beast people expect when someone offers their service to Hircine? (Skipped the School Part as it does not Fit Quite well with Elder Scrolls) Other

41) Are they dating anyone? Do they want to date? Are the married? Divorced? >Trechire fell in love with the Last Ayleid King, during her time in Coldharbor during the Planemeld. (for my playthrough it was like 3 months because I DIDN’T WANT EVERYONE TO DIE, OKAY? SO I DRAG THAT SHIT OUT FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, SUMMERSET LAST FOR TWO MONTHS BEFORE I ACTUALLY FINISHED IT). As we all know, King Dynar didn’t survive the final battle, but Trechire was left with their son blossoming inside her. This led to becoming a prime target for the Worm Cult, who literally stole and manipulated an Elder Scroll JUST to transport Galerion’s daughter through time near the end of her pregnancy, she and the newborn to be the perfect “welcome back now and forever” present for Mannimarco, his first blood sacrifices to mark a new “era”. >Obviously Aithilo rescued her, and for a year Trechire was recovering and coming to terms with all she had lost, Aithilo helping in raising the baby and providing for mother and child. After a year (events of Oblivion’s main quest really kick in) Trechire became aquinted with the Altmer Vampire Eliindil, who was actually from the second era himself, but, ya know, he’s undead and all. The two grew close as they fought against Dagon’s invasion of Tamriel, and by the end of the mess, the two had fallen in love and married. >Not too long later, Ellindil aided Sheogorath in stopping the Greymarch, thus becoming the new Daedric Prince of Madness. Before the transformation completely took him over, he gave Trechire a chance to leave him, taking all their gold, possessions, whatever she needed. Trechire refused to lose another love, and remained with him, thus becoming the wife of Sheogorath. 42) What is their favorite hobby? Do they keep it a secret?

>Even as Sheogorath’s wife, Trechire is still a werewolf at heart. She tears up the isles every full moon her husband blesses upon his realm, running wild. The only thing she keeps a secret is that she horribly misses Hircine’s many challenges and hunts. 43) If they could have one thing in life, what would it be? >A special candy that, when her three demi-prince children eat it, it gives them common sense and makes them CHILL. 48) What do they do when they get angry, stressed, or upset? >Either she heads off into the more dreadful parts of Dementia and transforms, venting into the wilderness in a wild fury of claws or she drinks it away with extremely sweetened tea she’s put ice cubes into. 49) Would they consider themselves as a good person, bad person, or morally grey? >Morally grey, as she has murdered in the past to obtain what she wanted, innocents being involved. Sure, it was Vile’s servant, but that doesn’t mean the Wood Elf Umbra DESERVED death. 50) Does this OC have any part of you in them? (I.e, personality traits, similar background, etc) >Oh yes, in a way she is my sona, as Eliindil is very much the sona of my fiance. >We both have anxiety problems, emeotophobic, and very much feel like giant horses that awkwardly trample around in society. Things I Personally added to This >SHE NEVER MEANT TO BECOME ENEMIES WITH CLAVICUS VILE >It just happened, due to the events of ESO, and then further along the rode in Oblivion when she killed the bosmer and toom Umbra, not even knowing the sword belonged to Vile, and was EXTREMELY important to him. However, she kept the sword as a sort of leverage against the Prince. With a son now to protect, as this is when Sunnabela was still barely a year old, Trechire decided it was for the best Vile was kept in a weakened state, with the threat of Umbra coming to fuck him over constantly keeping him at bay. She couldn’t afford the little dance they had always done back in her younger days. BEING THE WIFE OF SHEOGORATH IS NOT EASY >You aren’t spoiled by him, you aren’t given a soft life, and it isn’t all giggling and obsessing over cheeses. Sheogorath has appearance of a child-like mind, but is half brilliant, half insane. He does not like displaying weakness, as none of the princes do, and anything “ordinary” is revolting to him. He does love his wife (love is the biggest madness life can offer, no?) but is only seen in public among the eyes to endlessly be teasing, frustrating, or scaring her to no end. In private, he can still be a handful, but also gives in to personal indulgences of having a lover, and Trechire will wholeheartedly tell you the marriage is worth it just for the moments. >Raising her son Sunnabela and three demi-princes is a terribly stressful task, especially with Sheo as the baby daddy. Trechire always had to be on top of everything the children were doing, and by the third she began to tamper with all food served to herself and Sheo so as to stunt fertility. She knew the other princes would grow aggravated if one prince obtained too many spawns, and while two of their children never leave the isles, one travels the roads of Tamriel with his half brother, and Trechire fears deeply for his safety. Sheo himself doesn’t seem to care, but enjoyed the risk and thrill. He probably knew Trechire was, at first, taking potions to stunt her own fertility, hence HE was the once who got knocked up, twice, towards the end, making Trechire spend a few years fretfully finding the right, and sneakiest, way to keep either of them from having more children. > Kirr do Shaan, the eldest, is the most level headed, and while Trechire worries dearly for him and Sunny who live among mortals, she has confidence in him that he retains more common sense than his younger siblings. Tardiri and Falon take quite a bit after Sheo, having been born directly from him, and proved constant balls of chaotic energy growing up. Trechire was ever present in raising them, but, in and out, so was Sheo, and obviously his parenting could be...unsettling in what he considered “family bonding”. Trechire never had a break, caring for the kids, making sure none ever drew attention from the other princes, and none caused complete havoc among their father’s followers. >This all being said, Sheo was never an abusive husband nor father. He never physically harmed them, nor mentally abused them. He was insane and chaotic, but his family understood his own language of expressing love, even if it was complete lunacy. None of his children, nor wife, were ever banished, but always had a home in his Isles, even if they were at each other’s throats. Lastly, Sheo himself never threw them in harm’s way UNLESS he was fairly confident they would be fine. He finds amusement in these things, and constantly tells Trechire it’s the “push” their children sometimes need. Lastly, my good friend on here, @foxyhearts , has a lovely little bosmer thief that Trechire ad Eliindil automatically adopted as her smol daughter. She is ever present and ever loved.

1. What is your nickname? People call me Kat and Kath usually! The Kath originally was just an online nickname but then my boyfriend’s coworker called me it this weekend so it’s an official one now! I just let people decide if they want to use a nickname I always go by my full name otherwise

2. How old are you? 23! I turn 24 in less than a month though yikes

7. Do you have any pets? sadly no, but my parents have a cat and a dog back home!

44. Do you like your country? Hmmmmmmmmmm. Yes and no. Currently our worst aspects are hella on display and I hate a lot of it. But I also enjoy living here since it’s where I’ve grown up and I’m interested in helping improve it. But obviously thanks to current politics I’m pretty angry about the state of things.

45. Do you have friends from the web? Oh man I’ve made so many friends on Tumblr in the last year! so yes I do!

48. Can you curl your tongue? yep! just the hot dog style though not the clover thing

57. How long does it take for you to get ready? if it’s a normal morning, Usually an hour. I’ll start showering around 7:30ish and then I’m usually dressed and ready by 8:30-40ish.

58. Do you have much of an ego? In some regards yes, in some no. I’m extremely confident in my work and what I put out there, but when it comes to myself as a person I have zero ego hahaha. Very far from it.

59. Do you suck or bite lollipops? I wait to bite until it’s nearly gone!

60. Do you talk to yourself? I mean internally yeah? but that’s just thinking right? so yes?

61. Do you sing to yourself? mmm not really. I’ll drunkenly sing but not a lot no

74. Are you ticklish? terribly so but I’ve found the older you get the less people try to tickle you THANK GOD I will fight anyone that touches me

77. Have you ever drank underage? Yep! though only a year or so off from the legal age

78. Have you ever done drugs? nope! I don’t think briefly smoking a cigarette, cigar, and hookah thing once each really count. Smoking is even a dramatic way to described it. Puffed a couple times and passed it off because meh.

What do you fantasize about? having enough money to be able to live in the place I want and have it furnished like I want, be able to travel everywhere, pay back my parents for everything they’ve helped me with, spoil the shit out of people, being able to donate to as many charities and creators that I can

80. How many piercings do you have? none! closed up my earlobes in middle school

81. Can you roll your R’s? I’m so hilariously bad at this it’s impossible for me

82. How fast can you type? I think last time I tested myself I did 90 wpm and 76 if I was typing on my phone

If I think too long about how we’re not doing anything about this planet, the lack of interest in gun control from our legislators, or the deaths in the Middle East that are at the fault of the US (intentionally or by us ignoring those who need help) I feel really helpless and sad. But nah not really.

89. Do you like your age? 23 is... chill. I think I’ve got until 25 to panic.

90. What makes you angry? EVERYTHING. Incompetent coworkers who don’t respect my job or process. Republicans across the board and a shit ton of establishment Democrats. That our Earth is dying. How people in this city don’t hold doors open for anyone. Wars that we support or won’t get out of or turn our cheeks to (as a nation). My inability to actually take care of myself/my laziness.

91. Do you like your own name? Yeah it’s cool! I like it more now I think. I also like old-fashioned sounding names.

92. Did you ever get a foreign object up your nose? I can’t speak for my very younger self but not that I can remember

93. Do you want a boy or a girl for a child? I’d be fine with either! I’d have to scramble if I had only boys though I have infinitely more “girl” names that I like

94. What talents do you have? graphic design, art, writing, photography, badass houses in the sims (jk I’m okay at it), terrible puns

96. How did you get your name? it’s my late grandmother’s name!

97. Are you religious? Not massively, I grew up Lutheran and then went to a couple of different churches. Went through a hard atheist phase in middle school. Now I’m most comfortable identifying with the term agnostic theistic since long story short I’m not against the concept of a higher being, I believe things happen for a reason, I’ve always believed in energies, which can be connected to meditation and praying.
