i read lord of the rings for the first time ever last year and really loved it. here’s some drawings i did while i was reading! tolkien describes certain characters as having “a star on their brow” which i assumed meant a scar shaped like a star…i did not find out until later it meant a circlet with a gemstone of some kind in it LOL but i love the imagery of a star shaped scar for aragorn so oh well!
