So the situation is that I haven't been here for a while (felt like ages), because I had a lot of things on my mind, holidays, moving and so on, everything came together and these days were really intense, but I'm already getting back to normal.

And I want to take this opportunity to tell my dear anonymous and a @fleurdemers that I will be working on these two oneshots and I ask (as usual) for patience, because the pace of my writing is slow as a turtle, especially now, when I have a few other things on my mind xDD But I am extremally excited to write this two!!! Honestly, I'm in a weird middle ground where I liked the stream and its implications, but also strongly agree with the criticism, so I've just kinda decided to think of it as an alternate timeline or a what if senario.

It was fun to watch, I liked it. I liked the ending. I'm okay with c!quackity dying, because from what we saw of the character's mental state in the stream, he was in a horrible mental state, and after everything he went through, I get that. I can see how he might have reached that point between the last Las Nevadas lore stream and this one.

What I don't like is the implications that Quackity felt that in order to retire the character, he needed to kill him. Which seems to be an emerging trend in the Minecraft Lore space right now that Creators really need to take a step back from.

Your character does not need to die to retire them. I know people asking you to return to the character is annoying, but like, it's not a good thing to default to.

being a gacha game protag liker is such a fucking pain bc chances are they do have visuals and a base personality and interesting lore but the game has to keep them kinda blank/minimize their appearances as an individual character for the self-insert crew. but that means when the protag inevitably progresses through the story and meets tons of characters and changes their lives canonically, the fandom will straight up pretend it doesnt happen bc they view everything involving the mc as "catering to the self-inserters", and then theyll take the character-mc relationship that led to character A's development and attach it to character B or pretend character A magically did that by themself bc they dont like the protag. and then theyll go crazy w their ships and found family tropes with those 2 characters so that they can pretend the protag doesnt exist. i mean go off i guess but how are u gonna ignore the main fucking story???? it literally revolves around the protag. they dont have to be a self-insert if u dont want them to be💀💀💀 "ooooooh they dont have personality" WRONG u fucking weakling YOU are supposed to GLEAN THEIR PERSONALITY FROM THE STORY AND THE CHOICES THE GAME OFFERS U. its not like theyre standing there doing nothing all the time or the story wouldnt proceed!! how did they react to canon event a and b??? how do they talk to other characters??? what do they think of other characters, what do other characters think of THEM? just bc u cant read first person pov without inserting urself into the pov character doesnt mean the pov character has no existing personality💀 ITS A YOU PROBLEM. READ BRO READ

I know ya'll really want polykour to happen but like, don't pressure the people behind the ask blogs to do it if they don't feel it's right for their characters to get together.

Like, if it doesn't end up happening, don't get weird about it, okay? Let them do their thing.

At the end of the day, they are doing this for fun, keep that in mind, and don't get too overzealous

all the comics where guda gets 2 go home after their mission at chaldea ends and oberon ends up staying w them as a guard and it turns out guda cant live normally without ppl trying to take their life/use them as materials left and right and in the end oberon decides hes the only one that can give them a proper ending and swallows them into the abyss....sighhhs.......fr no one can imagine guda getting a happily ever after as a normal person again huh
