Said it before and I'll say it again: job hunting is the worst
#my most recent issue is that im overqualified#yes i have a degree#yes i graduated top of my class#yes ive won multiple awards for my academic achievements#yes im in the process of publishing some of my work#yes im sure that i want to apply to be a simple sales assistant#no i dont want to be fast tracked into a managerial position#what i want is a relatively stress free job without added responsibilities#why? because im taking some time out of education as a mental health break#but i also need to eat and save up for the masters#which means i need a job#ive already worked in sales so i know that i can handle it#no i dont care about my achievements. are you going to offer me the job or not?#rant in the tags
