I HAVE TWO SIDES

i finally continued to read the godfather and saw that scene where Don Corleone is holding a cat🥺🥺🥺 And my favorite character was killed in the book. Like, girl, Luka Brazi is the freaking beast murder machine that afraid nothing but Don Corleone and that love his Don so much. The scene where Luka gave his present personally to Don because of wedding of Don's daughter made my heart melt. Brazi paid a lot attention to his present look more precious than presents of other guests. He had so much potential as a character, but he was killed by couple of people. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS????? The person that killed hundred of people was killed by two freaks????? I disappointed.

Few words about su crossover I noticed that kid looks like a lesbian pride flag only few moments ago.😳😳😳 I also was thinking of their fusion but it's too raw even for me to show. According to logic of SU it's should be an Malachite.

Finished another Magma board /.w./

First time drawing Arthur! (Not really. First time I drew him was only his face though.

I tried painting his face as best as I could. He looks a little "meh." I gave him three moles for a but more detail. I actually have an idea on the new layout for thise moles. >:] (btw CGI Emily's face looks like Arthur's face. They look too similar.) He's mostly the same apart from his real life basis, which is LMS 1203 instead, and the lettering on his tanks is NWR instead of LMS. He was one of the many engines saved from scrapping, Emily being the first.

Also drew Rebecca and oh my goodness, she's absolutely adorable. Very out of proportion and not accurate but very cute. Look her happy face. <3 I love her sm. I decided to use her real-life basis' current livery, which is SR Malachite Green with Sunshine Yellow lining and lettering. Might add some red for additional lining (making it look similar to the BR livery, the only real livery worn during their service). Her basis is 92 Squadron, btw!

All of these were based off that promo containing the entire Steam Team (old and new) with a few guests labeled with Zodiac signs. I was surprised to find Edward be labeled as a Cancer (which is my Zodiac sign!!! :D). James was labeled as a Sagittarius and Rebecca was labeled as a Libra.

And meet a new OC, Chelsea! Her real-life basis is BR W14 Fishbourne. She existed because of the Little Blue Tank Engine found in the early books of the RWS.

Her face is supposed to resemble a fish. Her eyes and eyelashes resemble fins. Her irises are based on actual fish eyes. The creases underneath her eyes resemble gills. Her lips resemble the lips of a fish. Pouty and cute, right?

And then Debra! She belongs to my friend @nightsinfoxx15. She was fun to draw though it feels like I could've done better, tbh.

Oh yeah and there's Edward and James hiding (somewhat) with their pride flags! :D

I have another pride g1 and I'm super torn on her scry. I have so many options, I've had to split them into two polls.

Here's my main dillemma: the flag has white in it, which I can use piebald to achieve. BUT I feel like fade looks better. But if I use fade, then it's missing one color from the flag.

I've been meaning to do this for a whole, but I did it. I designed a pride flag specifically for queer Jews. It's a rainbow pattern, but it's colour-picked from the 12 stones of the 12 tribes, with a Jewish heart. To me, my Judaism and my queerness are intrinsically tied, and I think queer Jews should be able to celebrate all aspects of their identity.

Feel free to use this flag if you give me proper credit.

I like to do both, but more unknown places are fun to either discover myself or be shown by someone who loves the city.

History, I love learning about history, but I didn’t study either at school - I now do some history.

That’s just freshers week in a nutshell so yes I did.

Forests with lakes, although rivers really make me think of home - in my home city my grandma lives next to a river, as does my dad, at uni I live near a river and in Vienna I commute across the river which I love.

Yes, definitely, I actually read a lot of classics as a kid but I’ve been slacking lately.

1. Coke or Pepsi: I don’t actually like fizzy drinks- is apple juice an answer I can give?

2. Disney or Dreamworks: Disney. I love Disney movies.

3. Coffee or tea: You’re going to hate me for this, but I don’t like hot drinks either. Is apple juice an answer I can give?

4. Books or movies: Books, by a long way. I do like movies every now and then, but they often can’t quite hold my attention unless I am actually in the cinema.

5. Window or Mac: Mac, for me. I used Windows up until a couple of years ago but it crashed super often and the settings were really difficult to navigate. It fucked up once when it updated and I could never let it update after that, plus it couldn’t run games without crashing everything, I never tried it but there’s no way it could have run Photoshop. I also like Garageband.

6. DC or Marvel: Marvel, if we’re talking movies. I haven’t read as many Marvel comics as I have DC, though, and while I’ve only read a few DC comics they’ve all been awesome: Black Canary, Gotham Academy, and my absolute favourite The Sandman. I prefer other comics in most cases, though, my favourite being The Wicked + The Divine. 

7. Xbox or PlayStation: PlayStation. I don’t have an Xbox, I do have a PlayStation. I admit, I may be biased. 

8. Dragon Age or Mass Effect: I haven’t played either, but Dragon Age is way more my thing than Mass Effect.

9. Night owl or early riser: Haha, haha, haha; I don’t sleep much. When I do, it’s in the mornings. I am most definitely a night owl, so much so that people may mistake me for an actual nocturnal being. 

10. Cards or chess: Card games, no question. My friends and I used to play card games every lunchtime at school and we still know several, our favourites being Cheat (also known as Bullshit when we’re not at school), Spoons, Shithead (oft-shortened to Shed when teachers were nearby), Irish Snap and a game called Hi-Jack. I’m also a big fan of Sevens and Solitaire. 

11. Chocolate or vanilla: Chocolate. I like vanilla but, alas, I like chocolate more.

12. Vans or converse: Man, in general I prefer Converses but I have this pair of awesome leather-and-corduroy high-top Vans and those are probably the best shoes I own. I’m not really a shoe person. I’d still probably say Converses, overall. I have a couple pairs of low-tops, grey and navy blue.

13. Star Wars or Star Trek: To be honest, I don’t know enough about either to judge. I like what I’ve seen of both, but from what I can predict I’d probably prefer Star Trek overall. I know, I know; I’m a bad nerd.

14. One episode per week or binge watching: I don’t watch much TV, I guess. I’m happy to watch once-a-week if it’s on the actual TV, but if I’m watching things on my laptop I usually binge-watch in a fit of hyperfocus. I can only binge-watch stuff like cartoons that have short episodes, though, or I can’t concentrate.

15. Heroes or villains: Um, I’m a big villains fan. They’re just, like, cooler, I guess. Also they’re way more likely to be supernatural and stuff, and they usually look more goth or have British accents, and they often have deeper backstories. What I really love is like, anti-heroes and anti-villains, though.

16. John Williams or Hans Zimmer: Don’t make me choose, bro.

17. Disneyland/Disney World or Six Flags: I don’t know like, anything about Six Flags, but I can say honestly that what I love about Disney is the atmosphere. From the little I’ve seen of Six Flags it seems pretty cool if you’re into roller coasters and water parks, but I’m not really about that. What I love about Disney is that you can be somewhere completely different, be it foregin or fictional. The California Adventure park is by far my favourite of the Disney parks I’ve been to, for example, because wandering round it felt like Yosemite, it felt like Route 66, it felt like Santa Monica. Walking down Main Street at Disneyland is just amazing, man, I don’t know how to really describe it.

18. Forest or sea: I love forests, but I was born by the sea and I think the coast will always have my heart. The feeling of standing on the sea wall in the dark, watching the ink-black sea churning and roaring and leaping up against the rocks; it’s some strange sort of magic, it’s mesmerising.

19. Flying or reading minds: Both sound awesome, but I think flying. It just looks really fun, whereas I feel reading minds would be really stressful. Like, the pressure of knowing what people are thinking and feeling seems kind of intrusive and I would feel awkward in judging how to react and talk to people. I can’t handle my own mind half of the time, I don’t want to be dealing with others. 

20. Twin Peaks or Northern Exposure: Not seen either, but I’ve heard of Twin Peaks and it looks cool. I’ve literally never even heard of Northern Exposure.

21. Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings: Harry Potter. Again, I don’t know enough about LOTR, I haven’t had the chance to read the books yet because they’re like, intimidatingly long. I shelled out $30 for a replica of Hermione’s wand at Warner Bros Studios, though, and I think that speaks for itself. 

22. Cake or pie: Definitely cake. Preferably chocolate. Preferably M&S star-themed tray-bake.

23. Beyoncé or Lady Gaga: I like both, but I don’t know either very well. I don’t feel like I have enough knowledge to make a fair decision. Beyoncé is like, divinely beautiful though.

24. Rain or sunshine: Rain, rain, rain. I like sunshine and it makes for the best kind of lazy, summer afternoons, but heat is uncomfortable and I like the sound of rain on the roof at night.

25. Steven Universe or Gravity Falls: I haven’t seen Gravity Falls, but I do like Steven Universe. I’m really liking Star Vs The Forces of Evil recently, though.

26. Blue or green: Dammit, I can’t decide. Ultramarine or malachite green, I love both.

27. Vanilla or cinnamon: Vanilla. I barely ever have anything with cinnamon on it, but it’s good on pie?

28. Foreign films, subbed or dubbed: Dubbed is best for me because I like to do other things like draw or write while I watch so being able to listen is super useful, but for TV shows I’ll likely be watching on my laptop and therefore subbed is fine because I can’t write on my laptop and watch on my laptop at the same time.

29. Rain coats or umbrellas: Umbrellas are cool and I have this massive rainbow umbrella that I got given for free at Pride, but I don’t use them very often, if at all. I do, however, have a fair collection of long, flowy coats. They’re not raincoats as such, and in fact none of them have hoods, but I’ve had raincoats in the past and I like them more.

30. Christmas or birthdays: Birthdays! Don’t get me wrong, I really really love Christmas but it can be really stressful, whereas birthdays I’m hanging with my friends and eating cake and it’s really fun. Christmas beats birthdays where dinner is concerned though, because you really can’t beat a British Christmas dinner.

Now for my contribution, it took a minute to think of but my question for all of you is:

Updates on trying treatments & tracking

So I’ve stuck with some stuff, and not so much some other stuff. But I think the things that appeal to me most to try probably appeal to me for a reason, kismet and all that.

I’m happy to report that I have done 8 consecutive days of meditation with the Headspace app. I think it’s actually been helping me center myself more and remain positive and hopeful when I feel overwhelmed. And the pride and sense of accomplishment I feel from setting aside the time to do this every morning isn’t half bad either 😅

Along those lines, I’ve also been doing a daily yoga practice with the app Daily Yoga for 7 days now 😁 I’ve done some minor yoga before, but it was always rushed and I would find learning new poses difficult on my own, and then fall out of the habit. But this app has a narration and rotates positions and offers encouragement. Since I’ve been keeping up with the yoga every evening, I bought myself a yoga mat (I was using my carpeted floor before) and I’ve just used it for the first time and I already feel more supported hah!

I also recently got my fitbit back in the mail, and the breathing exercises and reminder of hourly step counts also keep me feeling less stressed and more motivated. I feel lucky that I have been able to keep up some activity with the way my body can feel sometimes. But then there are also many other things I want to do, but refrain from because I am just too tired and sore.

I really need all the help I can get in remaining positive right now with my job becoming suddenly more stressful with the sudden quitting of a new coworker, but also a lot of other preexisting issues that have been getting worse. So I’ve also been giving my crystals some tlc, particularly smoky quartz, lapis lazuli, selenite, malachite, and kambala jasper to help with chronic pain/illness and positivity.

I have been writing in my written journal, with body maps to document pain, for a whole week now as well. The apps for my phone regarding pain management and symptom tracking are too much extra effort at the moment, but maybe they will come in handy later!

I’ve also just had my PT consultation and although I am skeptical of the fact that it’s full of older white men, and there was a “Redskin” flag, it seems like it might be helpful. Especially the heated pool for light exercise to help my fibro. Even though I feel a little weird about all that, I am trying to give it a try and see what I can learn, and maybe what I can teach them. I already had to explain they/them pronouns and he was confused, but said he needed to work at being better. So that’s something?

I’ve been taking more vitamins too, specifically D3, B12, and C, and I have used the muscle relaxers a few times at night to help me get more restful sleep, in the hopes that that will also work to heal my body. Also preemptively using cbd oil to minimise the pain when possible. And still icing & some heat of course.

Anyways, I’m working to be really proud of myself for all the little things, and if anyone out there is reading this and is feeling some of the same stuff, you should be proud of yourself too.
