Introducing, the Main Character, the Hero of the Miitopia in my version, Ren Slade

Brief info about him,

- he started travelling right after turning 18 (it turns, really, really badly at first)

-hes hydrophobic. No like really, he hates water. He just. An actual cat Mii

- He is a knight (Greenhorne), Cat (Neksdor), and Scientist (Realm of Fey. But he decided to turn on back on the Cat because he actually likes it

- yeeeeee he does looks like a Default Mii Boy. Well. His father is Guest C.

Hello hello! All of my wonderful Miitopia: Angels and Inns lads are here and ready! Gonna post them all out slowly to avoid spamming.

Starting with the main hero and villain, the MC Emi and the Dark Lord Magi.

Much like your main character in game, Emi has gone through two other jobs. His first one was a Mage, his second one was a Cat, and his third one is the one he stays with the most, a Popstar. Emi is a big, friendly dude who just wants to hang out with his buddies. But sometimes his stubborn attitude can make it harder, as trying to get him listen to other ideas once he’s set on something isn’t so easy. He’ll take the brunt of anything if it means protecting those he cares for. Which has lead to frustrations from teammates getting denied when simply trying to help him. But no one can deny he has an incredibly infectious personality that draws all sorts of people to him. Emi came to miitopia from far off lands to both find himself a new life as well as visit his dad. He was interested in how his dad wrote a lot about the long lasting peace miitopia has seen. Of course he happened to show up at just the wrong time to get wrapped up in the face stealing. Good thing he also just happened to be the perfect guy to solve all this. Emi will never admit it, but all the fighting and rescuing is very stressful for him. This isn’t exactly his perfect calling, but he also can’t let the world fall to suffering.

The Dark Lord Magi, or later to be the ex-dark lord Magi, is quite the opposite in that regard. Living a life without many friends due to social anxieties. His life seemed to be going nowhere as he worked his life away at a HP banana factory to make ends meet. The Dark Lord/Face stealing charm may have a curse within it, there’s no separating Magi from what he did as a Dark Lord. He embraced the misery he caused, viewing it as karmic justice for how he didn’t have the chance to live a better life. After his final defeat as the darkest lord (he was still trapped in the charm along with the great sage oblation), he was forced to take a look at his life past wanting revenge on the world for not making it easier for him. Magi would spend some time as the guardsmen for New Lumos before after trying to reclaim his former glory and failing. Emi would eventually welcome Magi to their team to help with his efforts on reforming. He’s not quite there yet, but he’s making better progress than before. Maybe even in due time, he can help the faceless boy still stuck within the charm.

Miitopia is such a joy of a game XD

It may have taken me hours but I made Moon, Pebbles, Sig, and Suns in this damn game. I plan to post actual screenshots soon as well as more art. I have some amazing interactions that I MUST turn into art pieces.

Also the little demented Egg popstar guy is my main hero "OwO". He is a joy of a person.

some chara dynamics ive been thinking about under the cut!! note that canon is only loosely considered bc these charas are basically my ocs 😭🩷

kaname (kanamie :3) here is based off my old ogmeru hcs back in the day and i love thinking abt him as the 'glue' to the group in a way?? hes got a very big presence, loud and proud, tho deeply insecure... hes got the airheaded trait so hes always in the clouds in his own world, can be stubborn and hard to work with. but he is very cute so its fine. he is best friends with mayoi and has a crush on tatsumi... also hes a popstar!

tatsumi here in my game is so funny bc he keeps acting in character, aka, chaotic as fuck!! he loves the foods everyone hates, says he swallows giant MP candies in one go, definitely has the ability to kill whenever he wants but simply chooses not to which is somehow scarier . Even tho i gave him the kind trait, hes got threatening :) vibes, yknow. he has loves both mayoi and kaname #polyamory. cleric!

rinne has the laid back trait, and he hates literally every single food for some reason?? 🥲 im sorry man. i dont have him set up for anyone rn, but i might do something with niki or develop his relationship w hiiro later on as the story progresses. i have niki and hiiro as npcs but im planning to use them for when my main team eventually gets kidnapped lol. hes a thief

finally, mayoi!! my main chara and hero, he loves and cares for his team so much. esp kaname! he feels very strongly abt him and wants him to be happy and safe. sometimes falls into ocd thought spirals because he convinces himself his genuine love and affection for him is smth perverse and wrong. but he understands how his brain is and knows hes just being 🫠. anyway hes a mage !!!! and lowkey has a giant crush on rinne too

i definitely want to turn mayoi into a cat or an imp when the option comes up. so maybe my story will change entirely when that happens bc the thought of imp mayoi wanting to protect this cutesy popstar kaname is super adorable to me. plus imp mayoi and cleric tatsumi!! YES!!!!!!!!!! i love it so much

now some more misc rambles ... mayoi and kaname randomly got mad at each other and now the thought of kaname getting >:| easily and throwing out canon kaname style 'insults' is so ... i love u. i can never be mad at you. tho mayoi would probably be so sad and then kaname would be sad too (shoots myself)

Guys what crack was I on cause I saw miitopia. And for context the main character is shadow sabre because I'm not adding myself in and then the rest of the party is my favorite characters. The person shadow was closest to and who shadow met first was eclipse from the sun and moon show. And they got so close that I wrote a gay fuckin miitopia shadow sabre x eclipse fanfic that is bullshit out of character It was the early morning. I was booting up in my room. When I heard a voice. It wasn't artificial but it sounded ..heavenly.

"Hello there dear. I have a deep request of you. Something harsh. But I believe you can handle. That why I ask of you above anyone else please. Dear. I ask you to join the journey. To save the world, I want you to make sure him- is safe. I cannot effect this world as much as I like. But your mechanical hands can. keep. him. safe."

That's when I left everything. For a pinch of a chance I wanted stay. But then I didn't. I couldn't. The angel of divine pleaded and begged and it hurt too much to break its wings. So I didn't. And I started my journey. The angel handed me a sword. And said I was the hero that would save at all costs. 

Even my life.

And from then on. I was your warrior. I went to the battle just like cool handed angel led me too. There you were. Trembling, scared, in pain. I never knew what that was like. But seeing you in so much of it. Caused something in me to change. And for me to regret your pain with no cause.

So I stepped in. I was afraid. I had never held a sword so tight. But for once in my life I wasn't scared for me. I was scared for you.

And we did it. You got up and pushed through that obvious pain and threw your dagger. As we won a tired smirk rested on your face. It reminded me of the light of the moon.

Then that first night. I had took some time out of my nightly schedule to bandage your wounds. I was surprised you handled my dents and oil leaks with the same severity as your bruises and blood. Carefully mending back my old and damaged mechanical body.

We did so much. We fished, we sang, we trained, we helped the love triangle with the princess and saved the king. We did so much. So many lifetimes I could spend in those moments. I find myself replaying them now. 

But no matter what I kept you safe.

When new party members came

The thoughts that kept me from holding your hand

You were safe from.

And then those cold hands completely different from the angel- God that led me to you. And they pulled me away from you. I was stuck in that rotten old dungeon with the others rusting away. But more importantly

Not keeping you safe.

And I hated it. Despite the God never shunning me for it could tell they hated I couldn't protect you.

They despised me.

And I did too.

So when another party came mentioning they knew my first question in a gravelly voice that hadn't been used enough as of recent said "is shadow safe?" They told me they didn't know but you were so distant they could never tell what you were feeling.

That hurt. Knowing you lost your voice. That you stopped your emotions and held it in a ice box. But at the same time some horrible other thought came to root. One I wouldn't notice until it had sunk its teeth into me. A thought that said "good shadow is mine, my friend" little did I know how many times I need to scratch friend off for something else.

Then the third party came. My goal to protect forgotten the only question I had was "are any of you friends with shadow?" It sounded more threatening than I wanted it to sound. Leaking out my true intentions. One person raised they're hand. I stared. They were a warrior like me. Though how they held themself and how they talked to the two others in their party reminded me of a parent or a leader.

I resented them for it. I resented that they were better than I ever was. I resented you I resented that you did move on. That you did forget me and leave me to trust. And you weren't a friend you were my stranger. And then after all three of us parties ran  from that dungeon. When I felt that monster take who I was and made you fight it. I felt so much pain and anger. then you came. you freed me. You wore that orange handkerchief I gave you the first time you died like a badge of honor. like a gift from the gods.

You loved me. The way you smiled. It was so different from anything I'd ever seen from you not cocky or tired or smug or bored. Your smile was kind. And I knew just how much you loved me. And now here we are. On the edge of a fight with him. The dark lord. The one who separated us for so long.  And I have one thought

My thief will not die if it costs me my life.
