Hi! I just read your newest story on AO3, and since there are different versions of The Wiggles, which one should I see first? 🩵

You can start with any version you choose! It's personal preference really if you see a generation and you're like "Yes they look fun" go for it. I personally would have a look at all of them, starting with the originals.

I'll give you the versions and the names of the wiggles.

Original Wiggles: Greg (yellow), Anthony (blue), Murray (red), Jeff (purple).

Sam generation: Sam (yellow), Anthony (blue), Murray (red), Jeff (purple).

Happy STS! assuming your OCs have been invited/broken in to a super fancy party - what are they wearing, what are they there for, are they having a good time or have they been dragged in protesting?

Hi! So, yes.

I'm going with invited, but also looking for information or a meeting of sorts someone else at the event has. (I heard super fancy and went straight to formal gala/ball in the high society part of my world) So they were invited, or rather Tess was invited and bring Ethan to keep an eye on him, AND they get to steal information. A legitimate reason and a heist of sorts, because why not both?

Tess, the girl who's childhood best friend is her country's crown princess, is obviously well dressed. She's been dressing for elegance and to effortlessly fit in at these events all her life. She wears something blue, long, and elegant yet not overstated, pherhaps with a slight shimmer for flair. If we are going evening wear think something similar to the blue dress Anastasia wears in the Disney movie.

Ethan has never been to one of these things before, having grown up working and making sacrifices to keep food on the table and his sister safe, so he will be uncomfortable. High society events where everyone flaunts their success and status are foreign to him. He'd wear a borrowed navy suit to match Tess as her guest. Tess will have made sure it fits well though. She'd have told him what to expect beforehand as well, and he will be staying close to her throughout the night. They make a nice looking pair.

An added bonus, Tess will finally have a date to one of these balls who is tall enough for her to wear heels and not be the same height as or taller than him. Not that it really matters, but given how important appearances are to this class of people Tess will be pleased.

For the second part of your question, Tess will simply fall back into old patterns and probably enjoy herself less than she appears to. It's work for her. But having Ethan along will make it different. So that should help her have fun, even if she worries about him accidentally slipping up and drawing too much attention.

Ethan was curious to start with, and will be uncomfortable at various points throughout the night. I'd say he relaxes and enjoys himself a little more towards the end. Once Tess has accomplished her rounds and let's them chill on the edges, or hang out with Marian, Mark and Keith he'll like those moments. But I don't think he'd want to do it all again right away.

So.... the Smitty one. Oh dear. Where to start....

Uh, I'm going to put it to you straight.

Bad thoughts.

Smitty has bad thoughts, and it all starts with him questioning his contributions to the group. He feels like he isn't needed or wanted (but we all know it's not true). It escalates to the point where he has lost control of his thoughts and actions like someone has possessed him. But it all turns out fine, I promise!

And the Nina one is her having low self-esteem and the movers helping her. Watching Nina throughout the series it showed that she never really cared about what others thought about her, and that was cool.

So, all in all, a bunch of these stories show different sides to each character that we perhaps never got to see, and it's also me playing around with different kinds of genres.
