ok one of the gifsets i reblogged subbed what fuyu calls itsuki on their first meeting as "tsuki," but she does clearly say "itsuki-san," she just gets the intonation wrong (itsuKI) and itsuki corrects her by saying iTSUki.

HOWEVER, DESPITE ALL THAT BEING SAID

DID FUYU NAME HER KID AFTER HER!?

tsuki's name is just straight up "moon" (月), but it's still possible! i haven't read the manga, maybe it comes up later.

interestingly, when i was looking up the kanji for their names i found that fuyu's surname hayashi is "woods" (林) and itsuki is "wood/shrub" (樹) !! they belong together :')
