My Hero Fantasy
Chapter Eight
Warnings: major character death, self sacrifice
Notes: Izuku is Quirkless, no one talks medieval
Tanaka, after finding a moment of peace away from All For One, sneaks away from the 14th floor. Looking by the window, they spot a bird standing on the windowsill. “Hi, sweetie.” Their soft voice catches the bird’s attention, making it tilt its head. Tanaka notices a tiny note tied to the bird’s foot. Untying the note from the bird, they let it fly off. Looking down at the note, it read:
Tanaka,
There are 22 of us. We’re on our way.
- the leak
Taking the note with them, Tanaka heads to the 13th floor.
“Kairi.” Hirosa hears Hagakure’s voice and feels a hand on her cheek. She turns to where Hagakure is. “Please, carry on. For me.” “Wait, Wha-” Before Hirosa could finish her question, Hagakure takes her bow and an arrow, firing it at another shadow. Hagakure rushes towards the next portal, Ojiro rushing after her. “Toru! Mashirao!” Before she could do anything, the portal closes. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow rush past Hirosa, taking down the next two shadows before rushing into the next portal, that one closing after them.
From behind the group, Aoyama walked up ahead. “I have a confession.” He says to Hirosa, too ashamed to even look at her as he shoots off his Navel Laser at the three approaching shadows. “I told the villains where camp was. It was my fault they burned it down.”
“Aoyama, what are you saying." Izuku asks him, only do be ignored as Aoyama walks into the portal. "Let my last act not be in vain, my friends." As he says that, the portal closes. With that, the remaining four walk up to the next portal, each looking through it in mixtures of curiosity and fright. Hirosa walks though, Todoroki following her. Izuku and Bakugou try following, but the portal wouldn’t let them through.
Hirosa looks back to the portal. The two seem to have found themselves in a vast meadow with a large volcano not too far away from them. “We both know what’s gonna happen, right? Shoto?” She looks over to Todoroki. The usual silent young man stares ahead at the other portal. “If Midoriya and Bakugou can stop the villains, then Eri will be safe. Her safety is the most important to you.” As he spoke, he kept his head turned away from her. “This is for Eri, Kairi.” Hirosa feels the truth of his words and nods her head. “Right, for Eri.”
After she says that, the volcano starts erupting. “We’re not going to make it out of this.” Hirosa says, hands gripping onto the strap of her quiver. Todoroki stomps his foot ahead, creating an ice wall to separate the two from the trail of lava. “It won’t stop the lava, it can only delay it for a time.” He says, finally looking back at Hirosa.
From behind the portal, Izuku and Bakugou protested against the two, wanting them to live. Hirosa turns to Izuku. “Izuku! Take this!” Hirosa digs her hand into her pocket and threw the contents out of the portal. Izuku catches it with ease. “Please, tell Eri I love her!” “You can tell her that yourself when we get out of here.” Hirosa smiles at Izuku. “What a nice thought.” She turns back to Todoroki, who extends a hand to her. The two join hands, waiting for the end. As the portal closes, Izuku notices that one of the things she tossed to him was a note. The other was the necklace Eri gave her.
To who it may concern,
I have departed from the world. It was my sacrifice along with other Pros that allowed Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo to carry on and defeat the enemy. As my final act, I grant Pro status to the young heroes who saved the kingdom. In my last breath, I give them my blessing.
Final Departure,
Kairi Hirosa, also known as the ProAdventurer “Morose”
Izuku pockets the note and the necklace. “We have to keep going, Kacchan. It’s what she wants.” Before Izuku even took a step, Bakugo holds up his hand to stop him. “No, there are two portals left, only one of us is going to make it.” Bakugo takes off his vest and shirt, handing them to Deku. “I’m going to make sure that person is you.” With that, Bakugo takes out the last two shadows, rushing into the portal. “Kacchan! No!!”

Aspects & Fanfics Ep. 39: Alone in the Dark
As it has been the norm lately, 14 days have passed and I present you with a new episode of the main narrative of the blog. In this episode, although I had made mentions of it in previous episodes, I fully start mentioning the quarantine and the effect it’s having on Thomas and the Sides, which is gonna be the base for this episode. Some of it is inspired on my own experience of being under quarantine in Spain, which is one of the countries that had the strictest confinements in all the world (we couldn’t leave the house at all except to buy first necessity goods, like basic food and medicines, and the penalty for breaking the lockdown was of 400 euros, with the possibility of even going to jail) I know in America the confinement wasn’t that strict (at least I read they let people get out to do some exercise, always keeping social distancing) but a confinement is a confinement anyway and when its as long as this one, it can take a toll on anyone, including character Thomas. That’s what I’m exploring in this episode. I hope you enjoy it and I’m leaving you with it now. Until next time.
SYNOPSIS: It’s been four months of confinement. Thomas is feeling very lonely, even hopeless, so he calls Joan. They give him the idea of visiting him in the Mind Palace since now they can enter from any physical location at their own free will, and so they both meet there. Roman visits them and soon they realize he’s not feeling well at all, and it doesn’t help matters that Thomas once again gets possessed by his Dark Master self, threatening to wreak havoc all over the Mind Palace.
WARNINGS: Mentions to lack of hope, sickness and the possibility of death. Romantic prinxiety, dukeceit and logicality. Remus and Janus make some innuendo references.
In memory of the great acting lady, Dame Olivia de Havilland (1916-2020), one of the best actresses of the last century. May she rest in peace and her work never be forgotten.
EPISODE INDEX
[Thomas is playing video games in his living room. He seems to be struggling on a difficult level. When he was almost on the verge of finally completing it, he’s beaten out]
THOMAS: [yelling] MOTHERF… [bleep] [bleep] you fu… [bleep] [bleep] [bleep] son of a fu… [bleep] b… [bleep] [bleep] [bleep]
[the screen pauses. Patton’s voice is heard off-screen]
PATTON: Don’t adjust your TV sets, kiddos. Your speakers are totally safe and… sound.
LOGAN: [voice in the distance] Holy sh… [bleep]
PATTON: Logan, please, get your bleeping act together! As I was saying, Thomas is just going through a fit of inappropriate language to vent out his frustration over having to restart that level he’d worked so hard on. Remember, kiddos, it’s not nice to use this kind of language at home. Use instead clean alternatives like “Dadgummit”, “Son of a bee-sting”, or my favorite, “What the fwah?”
REMUS: [voice abruptly interrupting Patton’s voice] Naaah, to the f… [bleep] with that! These words are in the English dictionary so why the f… [bleep] shouldn’t we use them? Let people express themselves however they f… [bleep] …ng want, Patton! Okay, I just wanted to leave that there, go on with whatever boring voice-over you were doing. See ya!
PATTON: [loud sigh] As I was saying, signal will be resumed ten minutes after Thomas calms down so your ears don’t suffer any longer. Roman, if you don’t mind, could you serve us a flash-forward, please?
ROMAN: [off voice] At your service, Patton! Rolling title screen, before the green goblin decides to come back!
[intro sequence]
THOMAS: [still angry but more calm] What is up, everybody? [sighs] Sorry about earlier. I shouldn’t have reacted as verbally angry as I did, and I apologize. It’s just that this quarantine thing is driving me crazy. I know it’s the right thing to do and that it’s hard for everyone and that it is our duty to comply, because everybody’s health, even lives, are at risk, so I’ve complied without fail. I only got out when strictly necessary to buy food, hygiene products, or medicines if I needed them, always wearing my mask and keeping social distancing, and I stayed home otherwise. But it’s been four months already and… every day is harder than the previous and… I also miss hugging my friends and family. I must endure, I know, that’s what I keep telling myself all the time. I thought, as an introvert, this would have been much easier, but one thing is avoiding social contact because you want to and another thing is being deprived of social contact by someone else. I never thought I would say this, but… I miss social contact, every day more. [sighs] Sorry about this rant. I have no one to talk face to face like that, so… yes I have my Sides, but they are me, so it’s not the same… I think I need to talk to Joan. Maybe I should call them. They always have that word of wisdom that helps me see the light in any situation, like all best friends do. I’ll call them. I hope they’re not too busy… Oh, what am I saying? We’re all confined at home, they’re as busy as I am right now.
[Thomas picks up his phone and calls Joan. After a couple of seconds, Joan picks it up]
JOAN: Hi dude.
THOMAS: Hi Joan.
JOAN: What’s up?
THOMAS: Nothing, really. I just needed to hear your voice… Wow this sounded way different in my head, I…
JOAN: It’s okay, I got it. Are you okay, Thomas?
THOMAS: To be honest, I’m kinda feeling like a mess right now. I’m getting a fit of longing for speaking to someone face to face. You’re lucky you’re spending quarantine with Talyn, at least you got each other to hold each other’s back. But I’m feeling so alone in my house right now… I’m sorry I’m venting on you. I don’t want to make you feel as down as I am right now…
JOAN: It’s okay, Thomas, that’s what friends are for and I’m happy to listen to you when you’re feeling bad, just like you listen to me when I’m in your place.
THOMAS: Thank you, Joan.
JOAN: Say, I suddenly got an interesting idea.
THOMAS: What is it?
JOAN: You know, I cannot go there in person to cheer you up, no matter how much I’d wish to do so…
THOMAS: I’d truly wish you to come here in person too. [sighs] but I guess that can only happen in my imagination right now…
JOAN: You read my mind, Thomas.
THOMAS: What?
JOAN: Have you forgotten? Thanks to us synchronizing our brainwaves I can enter inside your Mind Palace any moment, from any physical location. Why don’t we hang out in your Mind Palace so we can see each other face to face?
THOMAS: Oh, my goodness… that’s the best idea you’ve ever had, and you’ve got a lot of great ideas! But wouldn’t it be dangerous because of the virus?
JOAN: I don’t think so. I never heard of a virus spreading inside imagination. Have you? Besides, you said that Sides don’t get human diseases. I presume that also goes for people in the Mind Palace. It’s worth a try, at least. Don’t you think?
THOMAS: I think you’re right. Let’s try. Are you ready?
JOAN: I’m already concentrating. Hang up the phone and I’ll see you there.
THOMAS: Got it!
[Thomas hangs up the phone. Then he concentrates and sinks down. He rises up in a random room in the Mind Palace. After a couple of seconds, Joan rises up next to him]
JOAN: Hi, Thomas.
THOMAS: [happy] Joan! I’m so happy to see you in the flesh, you don’t have an idea!
[Thomas gives Joan a hug. Then he summons a couch and they both sit down]
JOAN: So, how are you doing, Darude Sanderstorm?
THOMAS: Well, as I told you… I’m feeling a little lonely at the moment. And this quarantine thing seems like it’s never gonna end. It’s driving me mad. Literally.
JOAN: Thomas, don’t lose hope. This has to end some day. You’ll see how, when we least expect it, they’ll find an effective vaccine and we’ll finally wake up from this nightmare.
THOMAS: I’m trying to, Joan, but lately, my hope has become so frail.
[Roman rises up in front of them]
ROMAN: [princely pose and smile] Did someone say prince?
THOMAS: What? No… But hi, anyway, Roman.
ROMAN: [confused] That’s weird, I would have sworn that this time you wished to summon me for certain, so I came… Are you sure you don’t need me?
JOAN: Well, maybe you could be of help, Roman, now that I think about it. Sit down here, please.
ROMAN: Okay…
[Roman walks to the couch. When he’s almost there, he stumbles. Joan grabs him before he falls down]
JOAN: Whoa! Be careful, Roman!
ROMAN: [giggling nervously] Haha… I tripped… Thanks for grabbing me, Joan, you’re my hero.
JOAN: You’re welcome. [mumbles in confusion, looking at the ground] What did you trip on, anyway? There’s nothing on the ground… [normal voice] Are you okay?
ROMAN: [sits down next to Joan] Yes, I’m… I’m totally okay, don’t worry. Well, how can I assist you?
JOAN: Well, you thought we were calling you and in a way you were right. The truth is we weren’t calling you by your name, or by the name Princey or anything… But we were discussing about Thomas’ frail hope… And you are Thomas’ hope, aren’t you?
ROMAN: [sighs] I think I know where you’re going, Joan… Thomas, I’m so sorry.
THOMAS: Sorry? For what? I don’t understand.
ROMAN: I’ve been feeling a lack of strength lately that I cannot ignore any longer.
THOMAS: What? But you’ve been working as usual. I may have stopped proper filming, but I never stopped writing, much less imagining stories. I’d say you’re working as good as usual.
ROMAN: Not in the creativity department, but in the hope department. I’m doing my best, but I’m running out of strength to keep your spirits up and you’re feeling the effects of it.
THOMAS: Oh…
JOAN: Do you have any idea of why is it getting so difficult for you to maintain Thomas’ hope strong enough?
ROMAN: Well… Having to face the current reality of the outer world one day after another… it weakens me. I’m fantasy. I feed off from fantasy. But fantasy in turn is grown from reality. If good things happen in reality, good and bright fantasy is created and I become strong as I can be. But lately… reality is so harsh, so crude, so full of illness, injustice and… death… that the fantasy that grows from it is equally spoiled and rotten. So, to put it in a single word, in a way… I’m starving. I’m acting strong but I’m feeling so weak lately…
THOMAS: Roman, please, you don’t need to act strong.
ROMAN: Yes I do, Thomas, because you count on me. I’m your main tool for your work. You need me, and, as I told you once already, so long ago… I can’t let you down.
THOMAS: And I also told you that you could never let me down.
ROMAN: You keep saying that, but you and I know that’s not really true. I… I’m capable of failure. In fact… I’m prone to failure lately. And it scares me that one day you may need me and I just… won’t be able to deliver. If that isn’t happening already, that is…
[Virgil rises up]
VIRGIL: Why didn’t you tell me any of this, Roman?
ROMAN: Oh, Virgil, you were listening?
VIRGIL: I came here looking for you… I just happened to arrive mid conversation and I heard everything. So, again, why didn’t you tell me any of this, Roman? How am I supposed to support my husband if he doesn’t open up to me?
ROMAN: I’m sorry, Virge… I didn’t want to worry you… We already have too many things to worry about, with our child injured. As I said, I need to be strong to support you all, and…
VIRGIL: Do you think you are the only one who has to support our whole family? That’s too much weight over your shoulders! We’re in this together, remember? I’m here to support you as much as you are here to support me. It’s not like the first time we’ve had this conversation.
ROMAN: I know, but…
[Virgil sits down next to Roman and hugs him. At that point, Roman drops the act he had been performing up until that very moment, and Thomas shows a face of horror when he sees Roman’s real face of exhaustion, even emaciation]
THOMAS: Roman! You look horrible! You mean that’s your real face and you’ve been hiding it from us all this time!?
ROMAN: [weak voice] I’m the best actor in this Mind Palace… [ironic weak voice] You must recognize that I delivered the performance of my life… I was even able to disguise my legs failing me as if I had simply tripped. Also, makeup was really helpful too…
[Roman moves his hands around his face and the makeup he was wearing disappears. Now everybody can see the deep dark bags under his eyes and his white paleness]
VIRGIL: [horrified] Wow… You look more emo than I’ve ever looked in my whole life. That shadow under your eyes, I never had it so dark… and it’s not even eyeshadow, right? Are you crazy? You’ve put your life in danger! You should have told us this earlier, at least you should have told me!
ROMAN: What use would it have been anyway? This isn’t something that Thomas or any of us can fix by waving some magic wand. It’s the state of the world what has caused it and there’s nothing we can do about it. Do you mind if I lie on your shoulder, Virge? I’m feeling so tired right now…
VIRGIL: Of course you can. You need to rest. I don’t know how you’ve been able to act as if nothing was happening to you and no one would notice. Heck, I don’t even know how you’ve been able to walk at all.
ROMAN: I’m a great actor, as I told you… and the show must go on, right?
[Roman grabs Virgil’s hand]
VIRGIL: Goodness… Your hand is so cold. Heck, you’re literally freezing! [Virgil takes off his hodie and puts it over Roman’s royal suit, placing the hood over his head. Then he summons a purple blanket] Here, maybe this will warm you up. [Virgil hugs Roman closer to him and they both cover with the blanket up to the neck] I don’t know if my body warmth will be enough, but I’ll do my best to keep you warm.
ROMAN: [now shivering] Thank you, my love. Snuggling with you always makes me feel so nice.
THOMAS: Roman, I’m scared to see you like this. If only I could do something to help you.
JOAN: You can do something, indeed. Thomas, you must try to cheer up and focus on the positive things of life.
THOMAS: You do realize that’s not exactly the easiest thing to do in the current times, right?
JOAN: Yes, I know. But you must try to stop focusing on the negative, or else Roman will suffer the consequences. Not to mention that if you go on this route, you may end up falling in a depression.
THOMAS: [suddenly angry] That’s not something that I can exactly control, Joan! Don’t blame me! It’s not my fault!
JOAN: [weirded out] Nobody is blaming you for anything, Thomas.
THOMAS: [standing up, even angrier] Yes you are! You are all blaming me on what is happening to Roman, as if it was me who drained him of all his energy on purpose!
ROMAN: Thomas, calm down, nobody is…
THOMAS: [demonic voice, his eyes turn green] STOP PUTTING THE BLAME ON ME OVER EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THIS MOTHERF… [bleep] …NG MIND PALACE!
VIRGIL: Oh, no, something’s wrong again! This is the third time this happens!
JOAN: The third time? You mean this happened to him another time after the first one I saw it happen?
THOMAS: I’M TIRED OF HAVING TO TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING IN THIS PLACE AND NOT RECEIVING ANYTHING OTHER THAN COMPLAINTS! F… [bleep] ALL OF YOU!
VIRGIL: But it had never lasted so long! Thomas, control yourself, please!
[Thomas starts screeching a demonic yell while his eyes start glowing in green and a whirlwind forms around him that pushes the others away from him. Virgil holds Roman tight, preventing him to fall from the couch, while he himself grabs to the couch with all his strength. Suddenly, Patton and Logan rise up, then Janus and Remus rise up too]
LOGAN: [yelling over the storm noise] What is happening!?
PATTON: My ears!
VIRGIL: Thomas suddenly went out of control! He’s being controlled by his Dark Master self again!
REMUS: Wow, I could never screech like that. It hurts even me! Somebody make him stop!
JOAN: [fighting the wind] I know I called him Sanderstorm, but this is ridiculous!
PATTON: I got an idea! I hope it works! If I can get past the wind, that is!
[Patton struggles, trying to reach Thomas’ hand. The wind unties his cat hoodie and it flies away, but Joan manages to grab it before it gets lost. Patton can’t go any further and is pushed back, falling down. However he immediately stands up and tries to reach Thomas again. After some heavy struggle, he manages to grab Thomas’ hand. At that moment, the wind stops, Thomas stops screeching and he shows a neutral, emotionless face. The glow in his eyes disappears, then his eyes start flickering in the colors green and blue. Finally, they go completely blue and he shows a peaceful face, while his eyes start glowing in blue]
PATTON: Is that you, Light Master?
LIGHT MASTER: [speaking through Thomas’ body] Yes, it’s me, thank you for giving me the strength to rein the Dark Master in for the time being.
PATTON: What is happening with Thomas?
LIGHT MASTER: I’m ashamed to admit it, but I underestimated the Dark Master’s power and maybe forcing him to join me in the Mind Palace Core was a bad idea after all. He’s trying to take control of Thomas as he always intended to do. He can’t take control completely while I’m here, but he’s trying to overcome me and we’re in a constant fight.
PATTON: Is there anything we can do to help you?
LIGHT MASTER: Not much, unfortunately, you can’t get into the Core, as that would destroy you. This is a fight I must do on my own, and I promise you I’ll never stop fighting him.
PATTON: But why is this happening to Thomas right now?
LIGHT MASTER: It’s everything that is happening in the outer world lately. The quarantine, the injustices in America and the rest of the world, the people that is suffering and dying for so many different things, the racism, the virus, the denial of healthcare… Thomas is losing hope and that is threatening the equilibrium in the Mind Palace. To put it in words easier to understand, it’s like he’s starting to believe that evil in this world is stronger than good, at least at the present moment, and as a result he’s starting to surrender to his evil self, making the Dark Master stronger than ever since he was “defeated”.
VIRGIL: There has to be something we can do!
LIGHT MASTER: Thomas is gonna need all the help in the world. Both from his Sides and from his friends in the outer world. He needs to be reminded of how much good there still is in his life and how much there is still in this world worthy to fight for. It’s not gonna be a quick process, so you must work on it on the long term, and the Dark Master will never lose his influence completely, as you already know, but the more you can lift his spirits up, the stronger his good self will be. Also, Roman is endangered.
VIRGIL: [scared] Endangered?
REMUS: [also scared] Wait, what is happening to my brother? [noticing Roman’s face of emaciation] Roman, what’s wrong?
LIGHT MASTER: You’ve seen how he is right now. Roman mentioned that he was starving. He intended to say figuratively, but unfortunately, he’s literally starving and no ordinary food can help him, he needs to feed on clean bright fantasy to save himself. If Thomas doesn’t regain the spirit he used to have, Roman will slowly get weaker and weaker until he’s no more.
REMUS: But I’m not feeling weak or starving at all? We are connected, anything that happens to him will happen to me. Why am I not as emaciated as he is right now?
LIGHT MASTER: As a matter of fact, Remus, you are endangered too. You’re not feeling the same as Roman because you don’t take care of Thomas’ hope, that’s all entirely Roman, and you’ve got plenty of dark fantasy to feed on, but if Roman perishes, as you know, you will perish too.
ROMAN: [weak voice] I’m sorry I’m dragging you into this, brother. I wish I could be stronger.
REMUS: [grabbing Roman’s hand with a face of determination] Never mind… we’ll figure something out.
LIGHT MASTER: And I’m sorry I keep on bringing bad news, but there’s more. If Roman and Remus perished, a new Creative Side would be created in the Core as Thomas needs Creativity in his life, but it wouldn’t be Roman or Remus, and of course, if Roman dies, Sandersia, and all its inhabitants, would disappear too, including Roland, your newly found Sandersian friends and the Sandersian body of Ira, who would be condemned to turn back into a Green Sprite again. So there are lots of lives at risk. You mustn’t fail, guys.
JOAN: We’ll do our best, at least our share of the task. Thomas is our best friend and we love him, we won’t let him down on this one.
JANUS: And we’ll also fight for him, like we’ve always done. You can count on us, Thomas. You too, Roman.
LIGHT MASTER: Thank you, Joan, thank you Janus. Thomas is very lucky of having such good and unconditional friends. Now I must go, my fight is never ending and I must continue the struggle. Don’t worry, after the boost of energy Patton has given me, Thomas will be okay after I’m gone, the Dark Master won’t take control of him at least for some time. Farewell, Joan. Farewell, Sides.
PATTON: Farewell, Light Master. Thanks for your advice.
[Patton drops Thomas’ hand. Then Thomas’ eyes turn back to brown]
THOMAS: Thank you, Patton. I was… so full of irrational anger and hatred. It was horrible. Thank you for rescuing me.
PATTON: [suddenly weak voice] You’re welcome, kidd… [Patton suddenly loses balance. Thomas and Logan grab him before he falls down] …oh…
LOGAN: [concerned] Patton, what’s wrong with you?
PATTON: It’s okay, my love. I’ll be all right. I just gave a lot of energy to the Light Master so that he could fight the Dark Master more efficiently. That was the plan, after all, and it worked. Now I’m feeling exhausted, but I’ll be okay in a couple of minutes if I rest. Let me sit down on the couch and I’ll be good as gravy in no time.
THOMAS: I hope so, I don’t want two Sides sick at the same time.
[Logan and Patton sit down next to Roman and Virgil. As the couch is now full, Janus summons two more couches on the sides of the existing couch and everyone sits down]
ROMAN: I’m sorry you guys had to interrupt your honeymoons…
REMUS: Don’t sweat it. Your health is more important, Ro. Many lives depend on it, including mine.
JANUS: And Thomas’ health is important too. If you need us, we’ll stay around. We’ll need to form a plan of action to lift Thomas’ spirits up. It’s time for me to get back to work as your self-preservation, Thomas, and I’m coming in full strength.
JOAN: I’ll also get in contact with Dahlia, Dominic and the others. You better get ready for a good long Zoom call session. You’re gonna have a big bunch of Dahlia’s corny jokes until you can’t handle them anymore. And you know Dahlia has a lot of those jokes… and if they run out, she’ll find more.
THOMAS: [smirks] Yes, I know… Thank you guys, all of you. I don’t know what I would do without you. By the way, Roman, Virgil, where is Chris?
VIRGIL: Don’t worry, Chris has already got out of hospital, and he’s back to his bedroom in our room. Ian is taking care of him right now. He’ll be fine.
THOMAS: Still, he should know what’s going on with you, Roman.
JANUS: It’s okay, Thomas. Ian knows everything through our shared memory. At this point he’s informing Chris.
THOMAS: Okay, glad to know. Thanks, Jan.
REMUS: I hope you switched him off from your memories while we were out on our honeymoon. I mean, I personally don’t mind that he saw everything we did, outdoors and… [mischievous smile] indoors, but I wouldn’t want to disturb your brother… more than on average.
JANUS: [nervous] Remus, please, leave that topic for when we’re alone. And yes, I switched him off at those moments…
REMUS: [wiggling his eyebrows, with a naughty smile] Do I see blushing on your cheeks? Don’t tell me you’re embarrassed of talking about it. Come on, we’re all experienced adults in this room and I’m not so bad at that, am I?
JANUS: [a little angry voice, his human cheek now blushes heavily] Remus, the problem is that you’re… excessively good at that, so much so that I can’t keep up to your rhythm. And this conversation ends right here. We may be adults here, but there may be younger viewers watching, and maybe we can’t stop you from saying what you want whenever you want, but not even you could escape the power of outer censorship of this work of fiction, so zip it!
THOMAS: [face of shock, stuttering] Yes… please… I… I beg you… too much inappropriate innuendo… and too much meta too… [clears his throat] Okay, back on track. What are we going to do to help Roman in the short term? We can’t leave him like this, in this condition.
VIRGIL: Don’t worry, Thomas. I’ll take care of him. We’ll be heading to our room and I’ll make sure he takes some time to rest.
ROMAN: I don’t want to be a burden to you…
VIRGIL: “In health and disease”. I vowed to be there with you, and I’m fulfilling my vow, just like you would if it was me standing there sick, right?
ROMAN: I love you, Virgil. Did ever tell you that?
VIRGIL: Yeah, you did, but it never stops lifting my spirits up, so keep saying it, please.
[Roman holds Virgil’s hand and looks at him with the most loving glance in the world. Virgil kisses his forehead and then Roman kisses Virgil’s hand, with a tear rolling down his now dark purplish cheek]
THOMAS: Guys, when you give each other so much love… I feel so good and complete…
ROMAN: Thank you, Thomas, for rejoicing in our happiness.
THOMAS: It’s more than that. Before you all started dating, there were times in my life were I felt… I don’t know… alone in the dark, like there were times were I despised myself, and I know I have no reason to do that, but self-love is so hard to achieve and… [gasp of realization] …wait a minute, I think I get it. [smiles] Your love for each other, guys… feeds my self-love. You guys are me, so you guys loving each other is me loving myself. I…
[Thomas gets emotional and he starts crying]
ROMAN: I had never thought of that before… but you’re right. If we are you, our love for each other is your love for yourself. Wow, it’s beautiful if you put it this way.
PATTON: It also helps that we all love you, Thomas and we’d to anything for your well-being.
THOMAS: [cleaning his eyes] Sorry, guys, I got overwhelmed by emotion. I love you too, guys.
JOAN: We, the ones that are not part of you, love you too, Thomas, if I’m allowed to say it. I hope that helps you too in your quest for self-love.
THOMAS: Thank you, Joan, it really does. I’m happy to count on your friendship as always. And you know what? I’m feeling more hope than before already. Still not feeling perfect by any means, [singing the song from Tangled] “but at last I see a light”. Wow, it may be true that thing the Beatles said, that “all you need is love”.
ROMAN: It may be true, Thomas. I’m already feeling a little stronger, [singing the same song from Tangled] “and it’s like the sky is new”. Still have a long way ahead until I feel recovered, [theatrical princely voice] but we’ve started walking it. And nothing will stop us. Our adventure has only begun, and we’re gonna be victorious, both of us!
THOMAS: That’s the spirit, Roman. Now, to get some rest and gain strength to keep on walking. [to the camera] And to all of you out there, I hope you all find ways to work on your self love too. You don’t need to have Sides like I do, just remember that you are loved, that you are capable of loving, and that you are worthy of love too, and then you’ll be ready to start loving yourself, I know it’s not easy, but just one step in front of the other, and we’ll get there. Until next time, take it easy, guys, gals and non binary pals. Peace out!
[ending card]
[Thomas is in his living room, in front of his computer. He’s having a Zoom call with Joan, Talyn, Dominic, Dahlia and Kenny]
THOMAS: Wow, guys, I really missed this.
DAHLIA: Well, it’s not like you don’t already know we’re here for you. You can call us by videochat any time you need.
KENNY: Yes, you can count on us for any cyber-reunions like this one. I also miss all of my friends.
DOMINIC: Yes. We should try to make another video together like this. Thomas, Joan, you’ve got to think of something.
JOAN: I have already something in mind… but I need time to make it work. I’ll call you when it’s ready.
DAHLIA: Yeah, and in the meantime you can always count on your other friends, right, Tho…? [notices she’s messed up and covers her mouth]
KENNY: [confused] Other friends? What other friends? What did I miss?
[Dahlia looks at Thomas with a face of guilt, like apologizing without words. The other friends and Thomas show an awkward face]
KENNY: Guys… I suddenly feel like you all know something that I don’t. It’s fine if you want to keep it to yourselves, but this is making me feel a little weird.
[Logan appears next to Thomas, off-screen so no one in the chat can see him. Thomas looks at him with a face of angsty questioning, like telling him “What do I do now?” without words]
LOGAN: Well, it’s my opinion that the circle of people knowing your secret was already wide enough. But you know Kenny well. It’s your choice if you think you can trust him enough to tell him the secret. What does your heart say?
[Patton rises up too]
PATTON: I say let’s give it a try! If Kenny keeps the secret, there’s nothing wrong on him knowing, right? In fact, I would tell all of your close friends. I’d really love to be able to interact with them all, they’re all so nice people, it’s a pity we can only interact with them from within you.
LOGAN: Okay, Patton, one step at a time, let’s focus on Kenny first and we’ll make any future choices when we get there.
[Thomas nods, agreeing with Logan]
KENNY: Thomas, what are you looking at? Who are you nodding at? Is anybody there?
THOMAS: Sorry… I was having a discussion with my… friends.
KENNY: What friends? What discussion? What is going on here?
JOAN: So you’re gonna tell him? Okay, but Kenny, you must promise that you will keep the secret, for Thomas’ safety.
DAHLIA: I’m sorry you’re being forced to do so because of me, Thomas.
THOMAS: It’s okay, Dahlia. If Kenny promises to keep the secret, there’s nothing to fear, and I know I can trust he will keep this promise, right Kenny?
KENNY: And now it’s when I’m getting really confused… Okay, I promise to keep your secret, whatever that is.
THOMAS: Okay… [sighs and keeps going] Remember my videos where I portrayed different characters representing the different aspects of my one personality?
KENNY: The Sanders Sides? Yes, I do, remember that I lent you a hand to film some of the episodes. [smiles] You’re not gonna tell me now that these people are real and are living with you in your apartment right? [chuckles] That would be fun if you think about it…
THOMAS: [nervous giggle] Yes… it would be fun… [smile drops] and it is fun actually… or at least it usually is… Guys? Come here, please and show yourselves.
[Thomas makes a gesture to Logan and Patton to get closer to Thomas, and they do, getting in front of the camera and appearing on-screen. Kenny’s smile drops immediately, while the other’s friends smile nervously, timidly waving hello at the Sides]
LOGAN: Nice to meet you Kenny.
PATTON: [with a huge smile and voice of joy] Look at that Kenny Guy over there! I’m so happy to meet you at last, kiddo!
[Kenny is so in shock that he’s gone completely speechless]
THOMAS: Okay, firsts things first, don’t freak out, Kenny. I know this is gonna take some time to digest so let me tell you my… our story, but remember your promise.
[Kenny barely nods with the same face of shock, still unable to speak. Thomas sighs and starts putting Kenny up to date about the Sanders Sides]

Clarifications on stuff in my My Hero Fantasy story:
Yes, this is based off of the Fantasy AU. My Hero Fantasy is just my take on it.
Almost everyone is aged up. Class 1-A are 18-22. (Ages vary depending on characters)
Kairi Hirosa / Morose, Tanaka Shigaraki, and Momoko Nakamura / Nightwalker are OCs that I wanted to include. There might be a couple others, but that’s all dependent on if I can figure them out.
Monoma, Hirosa, and Ojiro are cousins in this story.
Yes, Shoto did dance with Dabi in Chapter Five. No, Shoto had no idea that Dabi is Toya. Also, I did that as a joke. The only reason why I’m even remotely ok with it is because Dabi didn’t even know it was Shoto.
Yes, more deaths are coming.
Eri and Shinso aren’t Quirkless in this story. That’s just what they told the villains.
Izuku is Quirkless.

My Hero Fantasy
Chapter Three
Content Warnings: swearing, slightly suggestive
Notes: Deku is Quirkless and no one speaks medieval.
Bakugo and Ojiro were currently heading to the camp, but also needed to take a detour. “What are we doing here?” Bakugo impatiently asks Ojiro, who was busy inspecting a set of footprints. “This dirt has been touched by acid. We must be getting close. Stay close, Bakugo.” Ojiro says in a hushed tone, following the path of the footprints. Bakugo begrudgingly follows.
After a while of tracking the prints, Bakugo trips a wire and the two were caught in a net suspended by trees. A group of seven individuals circle around them, all in hoods to cover their faces and identities. “Who are these punks?! I’ll kill them!” Bakugo yells, gripping tightly onto the net, trying to pry it open.
“Don’t try it.” One of the hooded figures says, the voice being feminine. She lifts up her hand, acid pouring from it. “I have good aim. Wanna see which Quirk is more affective? Yours or mine?”
Mina Ashido
(Quirk: Acid): This special power allows her to create corrosive liquid from her skin, with it being naturally resistant to the acid she produces.
With that threat, Bakugo backs down. “Mina, guys! It’s me! Please put us down.” Ojiro calls out to the group, who immediately shift moods. “Why didn’t you say so?” Ashido and most of the other hooded people pull off their hoods.
Eijiro Kirashima
(Quirk: Hardening): This special power gives him the power to harden any part of his body. The Quirk protects him from most physical threats.
Koji Koda
(Quirk: Anivoice): This special power allows him to communicate with and command animals through speech.
Rikido Sato
(Quirk: Sugar Rush): This special power allows him to multiply his strength five-fold for three minutes for every ten grams of sugar he ingests.
Mezo Shoji
(Quirk: Dupli-Arms): This special power grants him a set of arm-like tentacles adjacent to his arms that can transform into duplicates of his other body parts.
Hanta Sero
(Quirk: Tape): This special power allows him to eject adhesive tape from openings located on both of his elbows.
The last hooded figure uncovers a shred of fabric covering his stomach before a beam shoots out from it, cutting a rope of the net and now freeing Ojiro and Bakugo. “Glad to be of assistance, mon ami.” He finally takes off his hood.
Yugo Ayoyama
(Quirk: Navel Laser): This power gives him the ability to fire sparkly twinkling laser beams from his navel.
Ojiro brushes the leaves off of himself while Bakugo silently complains about a ‘broken’ arm. “How far is the camp from here?” Ojiro asks the group. “Not too far from here, bro!” Kirashima points a thumb behind him showing a makeshift path. “If we hurry, we can make it before nightfall.” The group put their hoods back up before guiding the two through the forest.
Izuku and the coven had already made it to the camp. Yauyorozu and Uraraka were busy setting up tents, Hagakure, Asui, and Jiro were searching for food, Izuku and Hirosa were setting up a fire in the center.
“Hirosa, can I ask you a question?” Izuku asks her, looking over to her. The two were carrying piles of wood to the campsite. “You just did, but go ahead.” She smirks to herself. “Well, you said that All Might is like a father to you. What’s he like? Like, actually like?” The two stop at the center of the campsite. “He’s awesome, almost exactly how he is when he’s out saving everyone. Even now that he’s-” she catches herself, looking over to Izuku, who was listening with interest.
“If I tell you something, can you promise me to keep it quiet? I’m only gonna tell you because he trusts me and I trust you.” Hirosa asks Izuku. “Not even my sister or Mother knows about it.” Izuku nods his head, curious. “He can’t use his power as much as he used to. He got into a fight five years ago with a dangerous villain.”
His power is anything but natural, he wasn’t born with it. It’s a sacred torch passed down from person to person. One person cultivates the power, and then passes it on to another. The next refines it and passes it on again. In this way, those crying out to be saved and those with brave and true hearts link to form a crystalline network of power. It’s his true power.
“He’s currently been in search of a successor to pass his power to, but that how the villains got him.” Hirosa explains to Izuku as they continue their way to the campsite. “He had his guard down.” After a moment of silence, Izuku speaks up. “Why didn’t he give you the power?” That question got Hirosa to chuckle. “My Quirk is incompatible with it. It would rip my body and break my mind. He also said that his Quirk with my Quirk would decrease my lifespan. He’s protecting me, I know that. Also, I don’t need it. I’ve made it here with my own Quirk.” Izuku smiles at Hirosa’s response. He didn’t see her Quirk firsthand, but knew it must be a powerful Quirk if it was incompatible with All Mights.
“Now, I have a question for you, Izuku.” The two lay the firewood in the center of the clearing before starting to light it. “I’ve never seen your Quirk. It wasn’t on your Provisional License. What is it?” Izuku’s face drops. I forgot to tell her I’m Quirkless. If she knew, she’d probably kick me out and send me home. Even worse, I might never see her again. What do I do?! “Izuku? Are you ok?” Hirosa waves her hand in front of his face.
“I’m completely fine! I don’t know why I paused like that! Holy smokes, we don’t have any food! I’m just gonna go over there and find some food for us! Thank you! Bye!” Izuku frantically yells before he runs out of Hirosa’s sight. “Where’s he going?” Hirosa hears Jiro from behind her. Turning, she sees Jiro with a dead boar. “I don’t know, but I hope he comes back soon. It’s getting dark.” Hirosa tells Jiro as the two set up the fire so the boar was cooking over it.
Izuku was only a few feet away from the camp, but he was far enough away from Hirosa. He lets out a heavy sigh. “I’m sorry, Hirosa.” He says quietly, hoping she doesn’t hear him. “I don’t want to look worthless to you.”
When you asked me and Kacchan to join you on your adventure to save your father, I knew I had to help you. I didn’t know you were saving All Might. I just wanted to help you. I spoke without even thinking. Now, with spending more time with you, I realize just how much your approval means to me. I want to be a Pro. Not just for me, but so I can always be by your side.
“Hey, Deku!” Izuku hears a familiar voice further into the forest. “Ah! Kacchan?! How did you get here?!” Izuku sees Bakugo and Ojiro with seven people he didn’t know.
“We guided him here.” Ashido says, pulling her hood down. “Now, we’re gonna help Kairi and Kyoka with dinner.” Ashido, along with Ojiro, Sero, Kirashima, Shijo, Ayoyama, and Sato, started making their way to the camp, helping the coven with dinner or to set up tents.
“So, what are you on about this time, Deku?” Bakugo was quieter than normal, but his tone was very evident. Izuku takes a breath before explaining. “I don’t know how to tell Hirosa I’m Quirkless. I want to help her find her dad, but I don’t know what might happen if-” “Deku, I don’t think she cares.” Bakugo cuts him off.
“Look, I didn’t tell her anything and I won’t. But you need to get over it. She doesn’t seem like the person to discriminate on someone because they’re Quirkless. So shut your mouth and let’s help her out.” With that, Bakugo heads to the camp, leaving Izuku alone. Well, almost alone. Koda was staring at him. “Woah! Sorry! I thought I was alone!” Izuku’s freak out lead to Koda freaking out.
Later that evening, everyone was sitting around the campfire, sharing dinner and talking about whatever came to mind. “So you can make explosions from your sweat?” Sero asks Bakugo, who responds by simply staring at him and showing off his Quirk. “Woah! So cool!” Sero gazed in aww.
“Momo, can I have a towel? I need to-” Hirosa starts, only to get interrupted by Momo creating one and handing it to her. “Here you go. Be careful. You never know what could be out there.” Hirosa takes the towel before heading into the forest. “Thank you, Momo.”
“We haven’t seen him in a while.” Hagakure says to Jiro. “Any news on him?” Jiro side-eyes Hagakure. “Well actually-” Jiro was cut off by the sound of rustling leaves. Jiro’s eyes narrow and everyone adverts their attention to the source of the noise. “You might as well come out. We know you’re there.” Jiro says aloud. After a moment, another young man walks out from the forest. “Sorry, haven’t seen you guys in a minute. Hopefully I’m not intruding.”
Denki Kaminari
Quirk: Electrification
This special power gives him the ability to charge in electricity and emit it out of his body as a sort of protective aura that electrocutes anyone through contact.
“Wait.” Uraraka’s eyes narrow. “If you’re here, than where’s-” Uraraka was cut off by a loud screech in the direction of where Hirosa had left. “Is she in trouble?!” Izuku shot up from his seat. “Oh no, she’s fine.” Ashido explains. “He might not be.”
After a few moments, Hirosa (wrapped up in the towel that Yaoyorozu gave her) holding a much shorter guy by an ankle. “Kaminari! Put a leash on your friend!” She glares at Kaminari. The guy in her hold starts thrashing against her hand. “I will not apologize for getting a sneak peek of your bo-"
Minoru Mineta
Quirk: Pop Off
This special power allows him to produce sticky spheres from his head that he can pluck painlessly.
“You shut up right now, Mineta!” Hirosa drops him to the ground before retreating into her tent to change. “You’re disgusting, man.” Kaminari’s eyes narrowed at Mineta. “You had to do that to All Might’s daughter? We made a deal not to mess with her.” “Trick Shot is All Might’s kid?!” Bakugo’s voice cut through a the campsite, even startling Hirosa in her tent.
“Kacchan, you didn’t know.” Izuku looks over to Bakugo, as well was everyone else. “So, you mean to tell me that we’re going to save All Might of all people?” Everyone slowly nods their heads. “Well damn! Maybe should have told me that beforehand, Teach!” Hirosa exits her tent, tying her dress back together.
After a while of everyone talking amongst each other, the group hears a yell in the distance. “Someone’s in trouble. Everybody, grab your weapons. We’ve prepared for this.” Yaoyorozu says to the group, who all quickly reacted. With weapons in hand the group head up the mountain where they heard the sound.

My Hero Fantasy
Chapter One
What if I told you there was a world where the mythical and mystical were the norm? You don’t have to believe me, just listen to this story. The story of the boy who inherited my power.
Content Warnings: swearing, slightly suggestive, Kacchan being a massive tsundere™️,
Notes: no one actually talks medieval (I’m too tired to make them), aged up characters
Izuku Midoriya was a normal young man, too normal. He was born without a Quirk. A Quirk is a mystical power allowing a person to control a specific power. Izuku never got his, but he never let that stop him. He had already gotten his Provisional Adventurer License, allowing him to seek adventure even if he needed someone with the official license watching over him. He was planning on leaving home to find his first big adventure, and become a Pro.
“Ma! I’m heading out now!” Izuku shouted from the front door. Inko, his mom, raced up to the door to see him off. “Please be careful, Izuku.” She tells him, clenched hand to her chest, tears threatening to fall. “Come back soon. I’m gonna miss you.” Izuku smiles at his mother. “Of course I’ll come back. I’ll miss you, too.” After a last embrace with his mother, the young man set off from home. A while down the path he crosses paths with someone, someone he knows.
Katsuki Bakugo
(Quirk: Explosion): This special power allows him to excrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms and ignite it at will to create explosions of various sizes.
“Kacchan! How are you?!” Izuku smiles at his friend, Katsuki Bakugo. Bakugo had already developed his Quirk when he and Izuku were just kids, barely five years old. He also had his Provisional Adventurer License. “What does it matter to you, damn nerd?” Bakugo slightly growls, making Izuku take a step back.
“Where are you going so early in the morning?” He asks Izuku. “I was just heading down to the tavern. There’s bound to be a Pro Adventurer there with something. Who knows, maybe All Might might be there!” Izuku started going on a rant of wanting to go on an adventure despite being Quirkless. It was getting too much for Bakugo. “Shut the hell up, Deku! I get it!” He yells, making Izuku stop in his tracks. “Look, I want to come with you. Not because I want to be around you. I just don’t have anything else to do.”
That confused Izuku. Bakugo was actively wanting to join him on his first adventure. “Oh, sure! Let’s go!” With a spring in his step, Izuku continued on his way to the tavern with Bakugo trailing behind him.
In a nearby tavern, there was a blonde hair young woman sitting at a booth with an older man with green hair. The two were trying to stay away from the other patrons, discussing business. “Any news of my father, Sir? What’s the organization’s demands?” She asks him, hands clenching tightly on her drink. The man, Sir Nighteye, hands her a scroll. “It’s all in the prophecy, Kairi.” He tells her, watching as she opens the scroll.
On the dawn of a frightening winter, a great evil will purge the land, taking all power for his own. The only hope of the land is that of All Might, the greatest knight ever known.
Having only read the first paragraph, Kairi audibly gasped. “He can’t do anything. The Organization of Villains have him captured. I have to go after them.” She frantically tells Sir Nighteye. “With your power? The organization is too immune to you, Kairi. You’ll only get yourself in trouble.” She looks down at her drink, gently swishing it around by moving the stein. “What if I found someone with a power they aren’t immune to? There has to be someone out there who can.”
“If you can find someone, just be careful.” Sir Nighteye stands up from the booth, taking his drink in his hand. “I don’t know what I’d do if my friend got in danger.” His finishes his drink, setting the stein down on the table before digging in his pocket. He hands Kairi a small pouch of gold. “You don’t have to pay me back. Use it how you see fit.” He walks off, leaving Kairi alone at the booth.
Izuku and Bakugo enter the tavern, bumping into someone. “Sorry, my bad.” The man, who had green hair, says to the two. “You better be!” Bakugo yells at the man, clenching his fist. Izuku stops him, taking a hold of one of Bakugo’s arms with both of his. “We’re looking for an adventure, not a fight, Kacchan.” Izuku says to his friend. Bakugo unclenches his fists, heading into the tavern. “So sorry, sir!” Izuku says to the man, who only walks off.
Inside the tavern, Izuku and Bakugo walk up to the bar. The bartender was a young man around their age. He had blonde hair and grey eyes.
Neito Monoma
(Quirk: Copy): This special power allows him to utilize a Quirk after coming into contact with its respective user.
“Welcome to the Tatooin Tavern. It’s Saturday, meaning our Fire Whiskey is half off. I am Neito Monoma. What can I do you for?” He says to Izuku and Bakugo with hardly any eye contact while cleaning a glass. “We’re provisional adventurers.” Izuku says, holding up his license for Monoma to see while Kacchan begrudgingly does the same with his. “Is there a Pro here we can meet?” Izuku asks, eyes bright with determination.
“Ha! There’re only two Pro here, but they won’t be able to help you out.” Monoma explains. “One is currently on his shift here and the other is currently wallowing in her own self pity. Try again next time.” Monoma smugly smiles, going back to cleaning the glass. “Why you stupid-!” Bakugo almost crawled over the bar to to other side and choked Monoma, but was stopped by a warm voice. “It’s ok, Neito. I can take them.” Izuku and Bakugo turned to see a young woman around their age.
Her hair was blonde and very long. Her eyes were so blue, you might have mistaken them for sapphires. Her dark green dress was so loose on her shoulders, but hugged her waist nicely, though a wrong swing at the bottom would have shown her legs. She also wore a singular brown glove on her right hand, and boots of the same color protecting her feet from the harsh floor.
“Are you a Pro Adventurer?” Izuku excitedly asks her. She smiles, showing him her own license. Her name shown on the license was Kairi Hirosa. “Have been for a couple years, now.” She says, pocketing her license. “Take a seat, both of you.” She says, taking a seat herself. Izuku and Bakugo take a seat on the other end of the booth.
“It’s good that you caught me now.” Hirosa says, taking a hold of her drink. “Any later, I would have already been out the door and you would have needed to go to the next tavern.” She explains, only to get cut off by Izuku. “You’re going on an adventure already?!” His smile got brighter, ready for whatever was coming. “Yes, actually. My father has been taken by villains. I would have gone after him, but my Quirk is useless against them. They’re planning on a large scale attack that’ll take fruition in a fortnight. They’re going to take all Quirks. My father is the only one who can stop them, but he’s been captured and I need to save him before the winter. If you two help me, I can ensure you get your official licenses.”
Izuku and Bakugo listen intently to her mission, silently thinking if they want to join in or not. Izuku was the first to respond. “Count me in!” He stays at the top of his lungs. “What about you, Kacchan?” Izuku turns to his friend, who was still thinking it over. After a moment, Bakugo finally speaks up. “Sure thing, Blondie. I’m also in.”
“Thank you both so much.” Hirosa softly smiles. “This means so much to me. We should be heading out. We have a few stops to make before heading to the villains hideout.” She says before finishing her drink.
Hirosa grabs her weapon and stands up from the booth, Izuku and Bakugo following her. “Kairi, wait!” The group turns to see a man slightly taller than them. He had blonde hair like Hirosa and Monoma. Are they all related somehow?
Mashiro Ojiro
(Quirk: Tail): This special power grants him a prehensile appendage that extends from his lower posterior.
“I can quickly finish up my sift and go with you.” Hirosa crosses her arms, playfully glaring. “Mashirao, you need this job. I can’t ask you to come with me.”
Mashirao Ojiro was a Pro Adventurer as well, but mostly spent his time working at a tavern with his cousins Neito Monoma and Kairi Hirosa.
“I’ll stay here.” Bakugo says out of nowhere. “The two of us can meet up with you guys after his shift is over. Besides, I need a drink.” The group discussed it more, eventually agreeing with Bakugo. Izuku would be going with Hirosa while Bakugo stayed with Ojiro.
“Let’s head out.” Izuku had a spring in his step, heading out to the door. His tracks get stopped by a wall of at least 7 heavy men blocking the door. “Fork over all the cash and there won’t be any problem.” The middle one announces to the entire tavern.
“Ok, everyone! Evacuate to the back!” Monoma says to the patrons while both he and Ojiro usher everyone to the back, leaving Hirosa and Izuku with the thugs. “Izuku, stand back. This’ll get nasty.” Izuku listens and heads to the back with everyone else, fully understanding that he’s legally obligated to listen to her.
“This is clearly your first time here, so I’m going to give you a warning.” Hirosa looks up at the thugs. “I protect this establishment from thugs like you. You can either turn around or I’ll make you so depressed that you’d wish you’ve never set foot here.” The middle thug laughs at her. “You’re just a tiny girl.” He kneels down to her level, mocking her. “What Quirk do you have that can stop us?”
Hirosa smirks. “I honestly don’t need to use my Quirk against you, but since you asked.” In an instant, the thugs feel their chests tighten and heads spinning. They all fall to their knees, tears spilling from their eyes. Tears were streaming from Hirosa’s eyes as well, but she wasn’t fazed. “Ok! Ok! We’ll leave!” They all yell.
Kairi Hirosa
(Quirk: Moody Dark): This special power allows her to change the mood of everyone around her to dark. The people around her crumple under the influence while she can still stand tall.
“Good. That’s what I wanted to hear.” Hirosa releases her Quirk, allowing the thugs to recuperate. “Before you leave, give me something that’ll make me forget this ever happened.” The thugs all rise to their feel, reaching in their pockets, all handing her different sizes of pouches before heading out the door.
“Crisis averted, everyone. You may come out.” Hirosa takes the pouches and puts them behind the bar, keeping a few for herself. Everyone fills the tavern and Izuku meets up with Hirosa. “Are you all ready to head out? Do you need anything else before we leave?” She asks him.
“I’m all good.” Izuku smiles, hands tightly clutching onto his own bag. “Good, let’s go.” Hirosa says, heading out of the tavern with Izuku close by.

My Villain Fantasy
Chapter 2
Warnings: not that I know of please let me know if I got this wrong
Notes: no one speaks medieval
Izuku and Shinso were silently following the group, who hardly made any sound either. Izuku recognized the path as it was the same one he and The Midnight Coven took to the campsite. It was like it happened yesterday. He met the sisters just a couple days before they died right in front of him. Kairi Hirosa, the youngest of the sisters, had given him his official license.
Before he could ponder any more, the group stop right at the campground. “We knew you were following us.” Eraser says to Izuku and Shinso. “Your footsteps are so loud”. She turns around and uses her Quirk, neutralizing Shinso’s. After that, a fight broke out. Izuku vs Eraser and #3, Shinso vs the other three.
Despite having to fight Quirkless, Shinso is able to hold his own. The same couldn’t be said for Izuku, who could barely get a shot in. #3 kept leaping around the place while Eraser keeps her distance between her and Izuku. As #3 kept hopping, she continuously kicks Deku before swiftly hopping away.
It continued until Izuku had enough. While activating One For All at 50%, a new power emerges. It was greenish and was like thrashing tendrils. One grabs onto Eraser, hoisting her above the ground. “Ow! Please stop!” Her hood falls off, showing blonde hair and blue eyes, so blue you might mistake them for sapphires. The other hooded figures stopped fighting Shinso, their focus trained on Eraser.
Izuku had lost control of himself and his new power, not even recognizing who was caught. Shinso realizes that her eyes weren’t red, meaning he can use his Quirk. “Midoriya! Stop playing around and actually fight her!” Wait, Shinso’s Quirk, it can get me out of this…
“Ok!” Izuku yells out, his actions immediately stopping and the new power deactivates. Eraser drops to the floor, breathing heavily. #3 rushes to her side, gently holding her head. #3 takes off her hood, her long, dark green hair falling out.
“Jet! We need to get her out of here!” #3 says to another cloaked figure, who rushes over to the two. His own hood flies off, showing his blonde hair with a single lightning bolt streak in his hair.
Villain: Jet
Quirk: Jet
This power grants the user the ability to expel air from open holes on the soles of their feet. This allows them to fly around a limited range as well as move faster than the eye can follow, even on the ground.
Jet gently picks up Eraser as if she was made of glass before turning to the others two cloaked figures, who both take off their hoods. One had wild, red hair and red eyes, the other had blue hair and wore a pair of glasses.
Villain: #8
Quirk: Dragon
This power allows the user to transform into a dragon, a powerful mythological creature.[1] This form grants them abilities commonly associated with dragons, including flight, powerful jaws and claws.
Villain: #4
Quirk: Iron Claws
This power turns the end of the user's fingers into metallic claws.
“We need to get to safety as quick as possible.” #4 says, turning to #8. “#8, you need to take the rest of us while Jet handles Eraser.” #8 nods silently before taking dragon shape. #3 and #4 climb onto his back before he takes flight, Jet following close behind with the almost unconscious Eraser.
In Izuku’s mind, he finds himself in a dark space, an ethereal choir singing faintly. A tall man appears in front of him. “Woah, kid. You could have done some real damage to her.” Izuku looks questionably at the older man. “Wait, you don’t have a mouth here. I’m just gonna have to speed run this.”
The older man opens his palm. “What you just saw, what tied up that young woman, was my Quirk. You were so focused on getting to her, and my Quirk was the best one for the job.”
Hero: Lariat
Quirk: Black Whip
This special power grants the user the ability to produce energy tendrils from any part of their body and command them at will. These tendrils are black in coloration with a glowing light teal outline. This Quirk appears to be powered by emotions, primarily anger, meaning the greater the anger, the stronger the Quirk becomes.
“You need to remember, kid. You’re not alone here.” Daigoro says to Izuku before looking back at his hand. It was dematerializing right in front of him. “Ah snap, that’s all the time I got. Don’t forget it. You’re not alone.”
Izuku wakes up in a cold sweat. “Are you ok, Midoriya?” Shinso asks, helping him sit up. “I think I’m fine, but those people. Why did they seem so familiar?”
Tumblr media
Tanaka steps into a shallow pond, carrying a dead corpse behind themself, 20 other corpses already in the water. “I have to bring you all back. If I do, maybe Deku will be happy again.” Tanaka lays into the water, in the center of the corpses. After some time, the corpses reanimate. They walk out of the pond, leaving an unconscious Tanaka behind.

My Hero Fantasy
Chapter Nine
Warnings: major character death, grief, cutting (not SH), blood
Notes: no one speaks medieval (I tried this time)
As the portal closes in front of Izuku, he can hear the last war cry of his childhood friend. The past half an hour on repeat in his head.
Yaoyorozu and Koda…
Ashido and Kirishima…
Shoji and Sato…
Mineta and Kaminari…
Jiro and Iida…
Uraraka, Sero, and Tsu…
Hagakure, Ojiro, Tokoyami and Dark Shadow…
Aoyama, Todoroki, and Hirosa…
Kacchan…
Izuku wipes his tears and gets back up to his feet. They paved the way for me. I have to continue. For them, for Kacchan, for the kingdom! He steps into the last portal and comes face to face with Tanaka. “Have you come to save the kingdom?” They ask the young man. “I can help you if you are.”
“Where’s All Might? I have to get him and the rest of the Pros out of here.” Izuku asks Tanaka, who nods their head. “All For One is preoccupied. I can quickly get you to All Might.” Tanaka tells Izuku, ushering him to follow them.
After making their way up a set of stairs, the two found themselves outside of the dungeon. After Tanaka opens the door, Izuku rushes in. “Woah! How many of you are there?” He notices 21 of the Pro heroes, All Might included. “Who are you?” One of them, Madam Midnight questions him. “My name is Izuku Midoriya. I traveled here with the Midnight Coven to stop All for One.”
With Izuku’s response, Midnight only had more questions. “Where are my daughters?” Izuku didn’t respond, his gaze hitting the ground. “Well, if they aren’t here, that only means they knew you to be the right person to save the kingdom.” Izuku ignores her words with a breath out. “Let’s get you guys out of here.” As he makes for the keys hanging on the wall, the door slams shut.
The group looks over, seeing that Tanaka had closed the door, but they looked different. Instead of their normal pomegranate colored hair, their hair was entirely white. All Might visibly shudders noticing the red in their eyes. “All For-” Without warning, ‘Tanaka’ rushes towards Izuku.
With a singular punch, Izuku was on the ground. “Young Midoriya! Use your Quirk!” All Might shouted to him. Izuku, struggling to get up, turns to All Might. “I can’t! I don’t have one!” After that admission, Izuku was thrown against the cell with All Might. “This boy is going to die, Toshinori!” Midnight yells to All Might. “He might be the only one to save the kingdom, but not if he dies here! You know what you have to do!”
As if agreeing with Midnight, Tanaka fought back against All For One, using their own strength to pry Izuku’s mouth open. “All Might, please! I don’t want to kill him!” All Might finally takes action.
All Might takes a sharp rock from inside his cell and cuts his hand open at the palm. “Young Midoriya! Drink this!” All Might moves his hand so it’s hovering over Izuku’s forced open mouth and clenched his fist so the blood can flow out. After a few drops, Tanaka closes Izuku’s mouth so he’s forced to swallow. “Swallow it, Deku! You need to stop me!” Power suddenly flowed through Izuku, giving him an edge. He punches Tanaka, the force of the impact threw them off of him. “Villain! I won’t let you have your way!”
Midnight Coven Smash!!!
With his finishing move, Tanaka was left unconscious on the ground, their hair going back to their natural pomegranate color. Izuku passes out, falling next to them.
With the last of his strength, All Might breaks the cell door. Crouching next to Tanaka, he takes their keys. Afterwards, he opens the cells of the other Pros. As most of them leave the fortress, Midnight stays behind with All Might.
“Recovery Girl’s hut is not too far from here.” Midnight tells All Might. “We need to get these two there before they bleed out.” She gently picks up the unconscious Tanaka as All Might does the same for Izuku.
Tumblr media
Izuku woke up the next day in a cot. His injuries were wrapped up and had been tended to. He looks over, seeing a woman with long brown hair. She was tending to another patient nearby.“Yoko?” His voice was strained, but he got her attention. “You’ve got some nerve going in their fortress, normie.” She huffs, not even looking at Izuku. “Where’s Katsuki and the rest of them?” “They didn’t make it.” Izuku responds. “And did you dispose the bodies?” She asks, finishing wrapping up the patient’s leg in a cloth bandage. “No, we didn’t.” Izuku’s response made Yoko take a sharp breath.
“You really are an idiot, Deku.” Yoko finally looks at him, the deepest scowl on her face. “The Organization can make him come back as a Nomu. You should have destroyed the body the moment he died.” Yoko was getting after him.
“You better pray you catch him before I do.” Yoko threatens him. “And you better be ready for him. The Nomu are getting more advanced.” With that, Yoko walked away, leaving Izuku with more questions than answers.
As if Yoko had predicted it, The Organization was already planning their next move…
To be continued…

My Hero Fantasy
Chapter Five
Warnings: none
Notes: Izuku is Quirkless, no one speaks medieval
Everyone was waiting outside of the castle. Hirosa had separated herself from the group and went AWOL, though had promised she’d return before the group entered the castle. Everyone else in The Inside Group had changed into formalwear, each holding their masks.
“How long is she planning to take?” Kaminari whines. “We need to get in there. People are already lining up.” Yauyorozu stares pointedly at Kaminari. “She said she needed to do something important. Trust her, Kaminari.”
After she said that, Hirosa joins the group, in her own dress and mask that covers half of her face. She quietly gestures The Inside Group to follow her to the castle gates. “I guess it’s go time.” Uraraka says, putting on her mask. The others follow Hirosa’s lead and have entered the castle, all with their masks on. The Outside Group circles the castle, on the search for any suspicion.
Inside the ballroom, Yaoyorozu relays a plan to the rest. “We’ll need to split up, but not too far away from our partners. It’ll draw attention. Look around for the Royal Family and tell them what’s going on.” The group agreed and dispersed, Yaoyorozu immediately to the banquet table.
Hirosa silently looks around the ballroom, only to be startled by a voice. “Are you lost, little lady?” The voice was far from considerate, it was very husky if anything. She turns around, seeing a man who’s mask did nothing to hide his deep burns and multiple piercings. She shakes her head, silently answering his question.
“Well, I don’t see a partner around.” The man points out, extending a hand to her. “Care for a dance?”I really don’t, but he may be suspicious of me if not. I can’t jeopardize this mission. Hirosa accepts his hand and he leads her to the dance floor, joining the other couples. While searching for anyone in the royal family, Izuku feels a tap on his shoulder. He turns, seeing Uraraka. “Hey, Deku. Kairi is on the dance floor with someone else. Was this part of the plan?” Uraraka points to Hirosa and the stranger.
Izuku notices him from the forest. “He’s one of the villains. We need to-” before either of them made a move, Izuku feels someone resting a hand on his shoulder. He turns around, seeing Shoto Todoroki. Todoroki hands Izuku a note.
Trust me.
♡ Hirosa
Uraraka breaths out a sigh after both she and Izuku read over it. “She has a plan. That’s more than I can say for us.” She leaves Izuku alone with the note. What did she mean? He pockets the note before turning to Todoroki, who was already gone. Where’d he go? Todoroki kept his eyes trained on Hirosa and the villain, who was clearly making her feel uncomfortable.
“Since you’re quiet, I guess you won’t go blabbering to anyone of importance.” The villain whispers to Hirosa. “Me and my friends are planning to infiltrate the castle and capture the king. With the top two heroes out of the game, he can make his move.”
Just as he said that, multiple villains appeared in the ballroom. The guests screamed, unsure of what’s happening. “We mean you no harm!” A lizard-like man says. “The king just needs to give himself up!” From the other side of the room, King Endeavor, along with two more members of the royal family, were being ushered out of the ballroom by Uraraka, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, and Aoyama.
Hirosa pushes the villain she was dancing with away from her before engaging with the rest of the villains. Her right hand coated itself in ice and she fires the ice at another villain. She stands up on the table aiming her hand towards the villains.
“Oh my gosh!” Izuku says, watching Hirosa. “She can control ice!” He sees Todoroki running towards Hirosa, carrying a sword in one hand and her bow and quiver in the other. Izuku, as well as Yaoyorozu, Aoyama, Uraraka, and Kaminari rushed to help them.
With the guests on one side of the room and the villains on the other side, Hirosa uses her ice to make a barrier around the guest. “Is that the daughter of All Might?!” One of the villains said. The leader focuses on Hirosa. “She very well could be.” He says. “If we can’t get Endeavor, she’ll make an excellent replacement.” Todoroki hands Hirosa the sword and a fight broke out.
*I still do not know how to write big fight scenes* *this will be the first and hopefully only time skip*
The fight was long drawn out and ended in a draw. Each side had injuries, but both would survive. “That didn’t go as planned.” The leader sighs out. “Let’s get out of here.” A portal opens and the villains escape through there. “I guess that explains how the villains got past Kacchan and the others.” Izuku says to himself.
Hirosa turns back to the ice barrier, using her left hand to melt it away. “We have to leave.” Yaoyorozu says to the group. “We’ll meet back up with the others and head back to camp.” With that, The Inside Group as well as Todoroki left the castle.
It was getting darker outside and Dark Shadow was hyperventilating, Tokoyami trying to calm her but nothing worked. “Dude, you have to use your Quirk.” Kirashima says to Bakugo. “We might die tonight if you don’t.” “I’m not setting off a damn explosion! It’ll give away our location to the villains!” Bakugo yells at Kirashima. “If the villains would have found us, they would’ve already. Please just help the kid.” Ashido sighs out.
The Inside Group finally made it outside of the castle. “Hirosa’s power is ice! How have I not seen it before? And she can melt her own ice!” Izuku had gone off on a tangent about Hirosa’s power. “Izuku, please chill.” Izuku hears Hirosa’s voice, but it came out of Todoroki’s mouth. The group turn to Todoroki and Hirosa, who both took off their matching masks.
Hirosa had the same scar Izuku saw on Todoroki a couple days ago and Todoroki didn’t have one. “I can’t make ice.” Todoroki (Hirosa?) said, tossing the mask to the side at she undid the small rope keeping her white and red dyed hair up. It had also been cut so her hair could barely reach her shoulders. “Wait, if you’re Hirosa, that who is that?” Izuku points to the other person, who pulls off a wig to show his red and white hair. It was the real Shoto Todoroki.
“Wait, you guys switched?” Izuku asked to two. Hirosa responds. “Yeah, he’s better at gathering information under pressure than I am. We occasionally do it whenever Endeavor’s castle is under attack.” “So that’s why you’re not around as often.” Uraraka points out. “That actually makes a lot sense.”
“We need to get going.” Yaoyorozu says to the group. “It’s getting dark and Dark Shadow might be in trouble.” With all nods of affirmation, and after a quick clothes change between Todoroki and Hirosa, the group set off towards where The Outside Group was.
“I’m not setting off a damn explosion! It’ll give away our location to the villains!” Bakugo yells at Kirashima. “If the villains would have found us, they would’ve already. Please just help the kid.” Ashido sighs out.
Everyone had now been reunited. “Kacchan, you were supposed to help Dark Shadow.” Izuku say as he noticed Dark Shadow slowly going back to her monster form. “Well forgive me for not wanting to compromise the mission by revealing our location to the villain!” Bakugo yells at Izuku.
Without a word, Todoroki walks up to Dark Shadow, igniting a calm flame in his left hand. She immediately calmed down, looking at the fire. Climbing out of Tokoyami’s arms, she makes her way over to Todoroki. “It’s so pretty.” Her yellow eyes watch the flames.
“We need to head back to the training camp.” Hirosa says to the group before turning back to Todoroki. “Shoto, I hate to ask, but can you come with us to keep her calm? At least until we get there?” Todoroki watches as Dark Shadow looks up at him with pleading eyes. “It’ll upset my old man. I’ll stay with you guys.” He says to the group, not missing when Dark Shadow imminently threw her arms around him in a hug. He gently picks her up.
As the group starts their way back to the camp, they hear someone calling out for Todoroki. “Your Highness! I cannot permit you to leave!” Everyone turns to see a man rushing towards them. He had dark blue hair, blue eyes, and glasses. He was dressed in a knight’s uniform.
Tenya Iida
(Quirk: Engine)
This special power grants him engine-like protrusions on his calves that allows him to move at extraordinary speeds.
Iida stops running when he’s face to face with Todoroki. “Your father would be furious if you left especially without telling him!” Todoroki gave Iida no emotion in his face. “I’m not planning on going back, Iida. He’s just going into hiding.” Todoroki says point blank.
“Then permit me to go with you, sir!” Todoroki shrugs at Iida’s request. “Ok.” With Iida as their newest addition, the group start making their way back to camp.

My Hero Fantasy
Chapter Four
Warnings: none😃
Notes: Izuku is Quirkless, no one speaks medieval
The group were currently making their way up the mountain, the noises getting more loud and blood curdling. “Dark Shadow! Please calm down!” Everyone hears from inside of a nearby cave. “What’s in there.” Kaminari was visibly terrified. Before anyone could say anything else, a young man gets thrown out of the cave.
He wore a black cloak with a red scarf. His most prominent feature was that his head was that of a raven even though he himself was a human.
Hirosa and Izuku run up to the man. “Please, help her.” He points inside of the cave. “She’s too aggressive in the dark.” As the man explains, a little girl rushes out of the cave, but she had a monstrous appearance. Hirosa visibly shudders. “What is she?”
The girl’s eyes were glowing red and her fingers were drawn into sharp black claws. “Fumakagi!!!!!” She yells, rushing towards him only to get stopped by Kirashima running in. He activates his quirk and holds her by her arms. “Dude, you gotta tell us how to calm her down!” Kirishima yells to the man. “Dark Shadow is aggressive because of the darkness.” The man explains. “Light makes her docile.”
“Light? Kacchan!! Use your Quirk!!” Izuku yells to Bakugo. “Don’t tell me what to do, you damn nerd!” Bakugo says, running towards Dark Shadow. “Just don’t hurt her!” The man yells over the commotion. Bakugo ignites an explosion, shaking the mountain. After a moment, smoke rises from the ground.
When the smoke dissipated, the group saw Bakugo and Kirashima almost unscathed with a little girl lying on the floor. She had short, purple hair and yellow eyes. Her fingers had gone to normal. She was also wrapped up in a red cloak similar to the man’s black cloak. The man gets up, walking over to her as she sits up. Tears in her eyes, she looks up at him. “I did it again?” He places a hand on her head.
Fumakagi Tokoyami
Quirk: Dark Shadow
Dark Shadow is a shadowy, little girl that Tokoyami can communicate with.
“I cannot thank you all enough for helping us.” Tokoyami addresses the group as he gently picks up Dark Shadow, who cries into his shoulder. Hirosa walks up to the two. “How about you come to camp with us? We’ve set a nice fire. It should keep her calm.” She asks Tokoyami. “It’s her call.” He looks down at the girl, who was still shaking from the aftershock of the explosion. “Please… I need… the light.” Tokoyami nods at her request.
The group made it back to the camp, Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami settling up another tent while the rest kept Dark Shadow near the fire. Dark Shadow sits next to Bakugo, making him skeptical. “What do you want?” His normal tone softens a little, but it was still rough. “Thank you for saving me.” She gives him a bright smile, tugging at his heartstrings. “Yeah, whatever.” He responds, turning away from her.
Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami finish setting up the new tent, joining the rest of the group. “If you don’t mind, can you explaining your Quirk, Tokoyami?” Izuku asks him, notebook and quill in hand. Tokoyami glances over to Dark Shadow, who was busy watching the fire. “It’s her. She’s my Quirk.” Izuku looks over to Dark Shadow.
Dark Shadow and I can communicate in a way no one else can, but her strength is immensely powerful. As you have seen, the darkness makes her strong but it also makes her highly aggressive. The light makes her calm but too much can make her timid.
“Violence solves nothing.” Dark Shadow says while staring into the fire with a neutral expression, completely different energy then how she was ten minutes ago. After a while of discussing Dark Shadow, everyone turned in for the night.
Early in the morning, everyone started to take down the tents.“We have just over a week and a half before winter. We need to train.” Hirosa says to the group. “We need to find The Trio. They can help us.” Yaoyorozu turns to Hirosa. “Aren’t they retired? Plus, we can never find their training camp.” Hirosa shrugs. “It should be a few hours from here. If we’re quick, we can make it there by noon.” She says, swinging her quiver over her shoulder.
“This is where we part ways.” Tokoyami says to the group, his right hand clasped with Dark Shadow’s left. “I guess so.” Ojiro says to him. “Just follow that makeshift path.” He points to where Ashido made a path into the camp. “It’ll lead to an actual path. In a few hours, it should lead you two to a tavern. Just tell the bartender I sent you. He’ll have a room set up for you guys.” Tokoyami nods his head in respect. “We thank you for your help.” He says, but Dark Shadow clearly had other plans.
“Can we go with you guys?” The girl looked up at Ojiro, eyes pleading as she runs up to him. She latches herself onto his leg. “Please. You guys help me. Please don’t go.” Ojiro looks down at her, softly smiling. “I love to, but we can’t risk putting you in danger, kid.” His tail comes around to pat Dark Shadow. Dark Shadow, still attached to Ojiro, turns to look at Tokoyami.
Tokoyami takes a breath. “I can’t go against her. Especially when she has her mind on something like this. We’ll stay out of your way if you’ll permit us to follow you.” Ojiro shrugs. “If Kairi is ok with it, I don’t see why not.” He jerks his head in Hirosa’s direction, letting Tokoyami know who to ask. “Thank you, kind sir.” Tokoyami nods his head again. “Please, Ojiro is fine. We’re friends now.” Ojiro tells Tokoyami.
Tokoyami was given the ok by Hirosa to join the group. After a few more minutes of preparation, they all set off.
A few hours later, near a tiny cottage, a little girl was playing outside. A young man with purple hair and a grey scarf stood near the house while keeping an eye on her. A small, white bunny hops over to the girl, thumping its lower half repeatedly. “What’s up, Naminé?” The girl asks. The bunny then bolts into the direction it came from, prompting the girl to follow. The bunny stops at the edge of the forest and the girl stops right next to it. At least until she hears a familiar voice.
“They should be around here.” Hirosa says to the group as they continue their trek through the forest. “I wasn’t here that long ago-” She was cut off by a little girl’s voice. “Mamarosa!” Hirosa turns around, seeing the young girl running towards her. “Eri!” Hirosa drops to her knees and spreads her arms wide as the girl runs into them. The two embrace, both smiling from ear to ear. At least half of the group were confused. Hirosa was way too young for a kid.
“I missed you, Mama!” Eri says, snuggling into Hirosa’s arms. “It’s only been a couple weeks, hun. By the way, how are your parents?” That question confused Izuku even more. “They’re doing ok.” Eri says as they separate. “Let me take you to them.” Eri takes Hirosa by her hand, leading her and the others to the cottage.
“She called you mom?” Izuku asks Hirosa, who chuckled. “I didn’t give birth to her if that’s what you’re thinking. I’m just the one who gave her a chance at a normal life.” Hirosa quickly explains, leaving Izuku with more questions than answers.
“Eri! You shouldn’t have run off like that.” The man with the purple hair says, arms crossed. He looked to be as old as Hirosa. “But Mama’s here. I’m fine.” Eri responds, making the man sigh and rub his fingers through his hair. “I’m sorry I didn’t notify you guys sooner, Shinso. We only started our walk here this morning.” Hirosa says to the man. “We also need to borrow the training camp.”
Shinso’s gaze shifts to the cottage before turning back to the group. “If they find out, I wasn’t involved.” Shinso says before heading off in a direction adjacent to the cottage and the forest. The others, including Eri, followed him.
After a few minutes of walking, the group find themselves at an open field. “This doesn’t look like a camp.” Kaminari says, looking around. Shinso picks up a rope from the floor, pulling up a trapdoor covered by grass. “Just down there. I’m gonna have to stay up with the rope until everyone else is in.” The group all file into the tunnel that was covered by the trapdoor and Shinso closes it after going in himself. There was torches lighting a pathway so they could see where they were going.
The group makes their way to a large training camp, only to be stopped by two older men and an older woman, all with arms crossed and stern faces. They must have been in their late forties. “Shinso, care to explain?” One of them, a man with black hair and a grey scarf, asks Shinso. “Aizawa Sensei, they asked. Also, they just needed to borrow the camp.” Shinso’s arms crossed, standing his ground. “We closed this place down for the safety of our family.” A man with blonde hair says. “Imagine what would happen if the organization found this place.”
The woman, who had green hair, softened her expression, turning to the other two. “Shota, Hizashi, he’s wanting to rebuild the camp. He told me yesterday. You’re being a little too hard on him.” Aizawa softly groans. “Emi, I hate to say it, but you’re right.”
Emi Fukukado turns to the group. “If you’re gonna do this, you’re gonna do it right.” She says, practically commanding the respect of the entire group. “We’re going to separate you into teams. We teach better separately.” They were able to separate almost evenly, leaving Hirosa and Izuku as outliers. “This is going to be difficult.” Aizawa says, rubbing his face in exhaustion.
“Izuku can train under me.” Hirosa points out. “He only has a provisional license. I should be watching him anyways.” Emi gives her a thumbs up. “We’ll allow it.” Hirosa bows her head in respect before she and Izuku took their leave.
The two make it back outside. “Ok, back to my question from yesterday.” Hirosa turns to Izuku. “What is your Quirk?” Izuku visibly stiffens at that. There’s no way he can ignore the question now. He decides to fess up. “My Quirk wasn’t on my provisional license because I don’t have one.” He says, looking down. “I’m sorry for keeping it from you. If you want me to leave, I’ll leave.”
“Izuku, let me be honest.” Hirosa says, taking an arrow out of her quiver. “You got that license for a reason.” She lines the arrow up on her bow, aiming directly at Izuku, who started freaking out. “What are you doing!? Are you gonna kill me!?” Izuku yells. “No, I’m testing you. Survive me.” She lets the arrow loose.
Izuku runs out of the way and into the forest. “Izuku, I wouldn’t have let you come with me if you couldn’t handle it.” She says loud enough for him to hear, following him into the forest with another arrow ready. “In fact, you not having a Quirk is good. He is not looking for you.” She holds her bow up. “I’m actually jealous of you!”
After she said that, she gets tackled to the floor, arms crossed and held behind her back by her assailant. She had dropped her weapon on the way down. She turns back, seeing Izuku was the one to pin her down. “Oh my gosh.” She almost laughs. “That’s what I was looking for, Izuku.” She smiles. “Really?” Izuku asks, loosening his hold on her. Mistake number one. Hirosa swiftly turns the two around so he’s pinned under her. Only this time, the two can see each other. “Not following through can be fatal. If I was a real enemy, you’d be dead.” Izuku chuckles. “I’ll work on that.” The two smile at each other until they heard something in a distance. Hirosa quietly got off of Izuku, grabbing her bow before walking into the direction she heard the noise, Izuku quietly trailing behind her. The two hide in a patch of bushes, looking over to a couple of older men.
“King Endeavor’s castle? Tonight?” One was a lizard-like man. “Exactly.” The other man was dressed in a black coat and had black hair, deep burns, and several piercings. “Tonight we can take the king with everyone watches. A good way to send a message.” Hirosa’s eyes narrow at the mention of Endeavor. “The boss man’s plan will come into fruition. With the top two heroes out of the way, he’s nigh impossible to defeat.”
The two men parted ways, leaving Hirosa and Izuku alone. “We have to tell the others.” Hirosa says, getting up. “I may not care for Endeavor, but without him, this entire kingdom will fall to him.” The two rush back to the camp, explaining everything to the group.
“We should help, but we have no way into the castle without being apprehended.” Yaoyorozu says. “Wait, Hirosa, didn’t you get invitations from your friend to attend the masquerade party tonight?” Izuku asks Hirosa.
Hirosa grabs the invitations from her quiver. “Yeah, but I only have three.” She holds up the invitations Shoto gave her. “That’s only enough for three of us and a plus one each. We can’t all go.”
“And some of us will have to stay outside. Especially in case of an emergency.” Kirashima suggests. “We’d have to choose whoever is not the most noticeable to go in.” Ashido states. “I know I’d have to go.” Hirosa says. “I can take Izuku as my plus one since I have to keep an eye on him in case we get into a fight with someone there.”
“I’ll go, too.” Uraraka says. “Anyone wanna come as my plus one?” Kaminari lifts his hand. “Sure! I’ll go!” Hirosa rubs the bridge of her nose. “Ok, that’ll just leave one more invitation. Who wants?” Momo cautiously raises her hand. “I can also supply the outfits.” Hirosa smiles, hadn’t even thought about what they’d wear. “Thank you, Momo! Anyone wanna go with her?” Aoyama silently walks up. “I’d love to, Mon Cher.”
“Excellent! We have our inside group. The rest of you need to circle the perimeter of the castle so we can apprehend anyone who sneaks in.” Hirosa explains, handing the other two invites to Uraraka and Yaoyorozu. “We can protect the king and possibly get more information on the villains’ plans.” Everyone gives affirmative responses before heading out of the training camp.
“Momo, real quick.” Hirosa pulls a confused Yaoyorozu aside. “What’s up, Kairi?” She asks. “I need a few extra things from you. I’m sorry to ask.”

My Hero Fantasy
Chapter Two
Content Warnings: swearing, slightly suggestive
Notes: one Black Widow movie reference (I can’t help myself), Izuku is in fact Quirkless in this (just a reminder)
“Before we meet up with Bakugo and Mashirao at the camp, we need to see my sisters.” Hirosa explains to Izuku as the two travel through the forest. “They’ll probably help us out.” “You have sisters?” Izuku asks Hirosa. Hirosa nods. “Yes, my coven. The Midnight Coven. I hope you’re not uncomfortable with that.”
“Coven. You’re a witch?” Hirosa stops in her tracks, hearing Izuku’s question. “We’re not witches.” She tries to keep calm, despite the fact she was growing very angry on the inside at the word. “Oh, I’m so sorry.” Izuku starts frantically apologizing. Hirosa calms down. “It’s fine, you probably didn’t know. I should explain.” She continues walking as she explains exactly who her and her sisters are.
Some girls got Quirks so powerful, the men got scared of us. Our families pushed us out our homes and the community exiled us for our Quirks, calling us witches. It’s not our fault one of us can create things whenever she wants and another is fully invisible. We all found each other and eventually we were found by Madam Midnight. With her love and support, we grew closer and the Midnight Coven was born. I don’t think I’d even be alive if it weren’t for my mother and sisters.
Izuku listens intently to Hirosa’s story.
Anyway, sometime after the coven, I crossed paths with the #1 Knight of the Realm. He recognized my Quirk not as something to be scared of but something that I should be proud of. He took me under his wing, helping me become the Pro I am now. He’s not my father, but he’s the closest thing I have to one.
“That’s why I have to save-” Hirosa gets cut off after hearing a twig snap. Hirosa swiftly grabs an arrow from her quiver, readying her bow. “Stay low, Izuku. I think someone is here.” Hirosa lowers her voice. Izuku hides himself behind a tree as Hirosa takes a look around the forest where she heard the snap. In the corner of her eye, she thinks she sees blue fabric rushing out of her field of vision.
“I know you’re there.” Hirosa says, confusing Izuku. Who was she talking to? “I know you do.” He hears a monotone voice of a young man. “Are you gonna come out so we can talk like adults?” Hirosa says, bow ready to fire the arrow. Izuku watches as the source of the voice steps away from behind another tree, iron sword pointed at Hirosa. The two were now in a standoff. “Is that what we are?” He asks her.
The man was dressed in a regal blue outfit fitting for royalty, but that wasn’t what caught Izuku’s attention. The man had dual colored hair. His right half was white while his left half was red. He also had a burn mark on his left eye. Izuku recognized him as Shoto Todoroki, the son of King Endeavor.
Shoto Todoroki
(Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot): This special power allows him to generate ice, frost, and cold from the right side of his body, and fire, flames, and heat from his left.
Todoroki and Hirosa stared at each other, weapons trained on each other. After a moment, the two dropped their weapons and started embracing, confusing Izuku even more. “How have you been, Shoto? It’s been forever since I last saw you.” Hirosa says to Todoroki. Todoroki smiles into Hirosa’s shoulder. “My old man hasn’t been on my case in weeks. I’m finally glad to be getting a breather.”
After a moment, the two separate. “How have you been, Kairi? Are you on another adventure?” Todoroki asks her, getting a head nod in return. “All Might was captured by the organization. I need to get him out before winter.” Todoroki nods his head in understanding. “I wish I can help, but my old man will notice if I’m away for too long.”
Hirosa didn’t know the specifics of Todoroki’s relationship with Endeavor, but he was the reason the two hardly spent time together. If anyone hates Endeavor as much as Todoroki, Hirosa was very close.
“I’m just here to hand deliver these to you.” Todoroki hands Hirosa a few envelopes. “They’re invitations to Endeavor’s masquerade gala. We might actually be able to spend some time together if you can make it.” Todoroki explains as Hirosa opens an envelope, showing the invitation. “Shoto, Id love to. I’ll try and make it, for you.” The two share a soft smile before picking up their respective weapons, parting ways.
“You can come out now, Izuku.” Hirosa says, putting her quiver back in place on her back. He walks out from behind the tree. “You two know each other?” He asks her. “Long time ago, before our Quirks manifested.” Hirosa stops herself from explaining more, still hurting from the memories. “Oh, I’m sorry for pressing.” He immediately reels back. “It’s fine. Let’s keep going.” Hirosa and Izuku continue through the forest.
A while down the road, Izuku and Hirosa find themselves at a swampy marsh. “Your coven is here?” Izuku asks Hirosa, getting a head shake in return. “We’re constantly on the move, even I don’t know where they are. Someone here knows, though.” Hirosa says while taking off her boots and untying her dress. “Why are you taking off your clothes? Why are you taking off your clothes?!” Izuku starts freaking out, turning around so he wasn’t watching her. “Relax, I’m still covered.” Hirosa says, tying her hair up. Izuku looks back at her. She wasn’t entirely exposed, having cloth covering her most vulnerable areas. “I just don’t want my dress getting wet. It’s a bitch to dry.” She hands her weapon and dress to him before stepping into the marsh.
“Tsu?! Where are you?” She yells out to the open. Izuku watches her, curious of what was going on. Within a minute of Hirosa first yelling out, a frog jumps out of the water and on top of her head. “There you are, Tsu.” Hirosa smiles up at the frog, making her way out of the marsh with the frog sitting comfortably on her head.
“Izuku, this is my sister.” Hirosa says as the frog jumps down from her head. With a puff of smoke, the frog transforms into a younger woman. She had long dark green hair. Her dress was red with a green apron. Unlike Hirosa, she was barefoot.
Tsuyu Asui
(Quirk: Frog): This special power lets her do basically anything a frog can do, even when not in frog form.
“It’s nice to meet you, ribbit. You can call me Tsu.” Tsuyu says, giving Izuku a bright smile. “Nice to meet you too, Tsu.” Izuku responds. Asui turns back to Hirosa, who was busy tying her dress back together. “Our sisters are not too far from here, Kairi. It’s a 5 minute walk from here, ribbit.” Tsuyu says to Hirosa, who lets out a sigh of relief. “Thank you, Tsu. Can you lead us there?” Tsuyu nods at Hirosa’s request, immediately walking out of the marsh with Hirosa and Izuku following behind her.
Elsewhere, three young women were frantically running around the small cottage, all clearly distressed. “With Mother gone, this place is a mess.” A slightly older woman with long black hair says while cleaning the floors. “What sucks more is that we couldn’t do any about it.” Another woman with shorter hair says while fixing the bedding. “The organization was too powerful for us. We can’t take them even with all six of the sisterhood.” From the fireplace, a woman with brown hair joined in the conversation. “Not only that, but the organization is after All Might, and he can’t punch his way out of that dungeon.”
Outside of the cottage, Hirosa, Tsuyu, and Izuku found themselves in a mist of pink fog. Hirosa and Tsuyu were unharmed but Izuku was sluggish in his steps. “Izuku, just hold your breath. This is Mother’s defense against anyone who would hurt our coven.” Hirosa explains, trying to keep him awake. “Why is it only affecting me, though?” Izuku sleepily asks, leaning against Hirosa as they walked. “It’s an aroma that puts people to sleep, ribbit. It works better on men than women.” Tsuyu explains.
Sleepily, Izuku slumps against Hirosa, too tired to even keep his eyes open. “Izuku, keep it together.” She holds him up, trying to keep him awake. “The source is getting closer, ribbit.” Tsuyu explains. “Mother must be home.” In the distance, they see a lamp hovering in the distance closing in on them. The lamp itself must be supplying the mist. “Oh my god! Tsu! Kairi! You’re back!” The three hear a voice. “Toru! Is that you?” Hirosa asks the voice.
Toru Hagakure
(Quirk: Invisibility): This special power grants her a completely invisible body.
“Where’s Mother, ribbit?” Tsuyu asks. “She was captured by the Organization of Villains. We’re on our own.” The lantern lowers as Hagakure explains, showing how upset she was about the disappearance of their Mother. “By the way, why is this guy here? He might put us in danger if he knew our location.” Hagakure sounded upset. If they could’ve seen her, she’d be pointing an accusing finger at the now unconscious Izuku.
“He has agreed to help me stop the organization.” Hirosa explains to Higakure. “With whatever Quirk he has, he can help us save All Might and Mother.” Hagakure closed the lamp. “Why didn’t you say so? Let’s get him inside.” As Hagakure said that, the aroma started clearing up, showing a cottage in the distance. Hirosa gently picks up Izuku, running into the cottage with Tsuyu and Hugakure.
Inside the cottage, the three young women looked out of a window showing the outside. “Toru turned off the lamp. But why?” The woman with short black hair asked no one in particular. The door bursts open with Tsuyu, Hagakure, and Hirosa with an unconscious Izuku in her arms.
“Momo, Kyoka, Ochaco! We have an emergency!” Hagakure says as the three made their way into the cottage, closing the door behind them.
Momo Yauyorozu
(Quirk: Creation): This special power allows her to materialize different objects, such as weapons and tools, from any part of her body.
Kyoka Jiro
(Quirk: Earphone Jack):This special power grants her long, controllable earlobes that work like headphone cables. Kyoka's earlobes are shaped like jacks at their ends, allowing her to plug them into a variety of objects. Those earlobes can further channel the vibrations of Kyoka's own heartbeats, dealing internal damage to said objects.
Ochaco Uraraka
(Quirk: Zero Gravity): This special power allows her to remove the effects of gravity from solid things upon touching them with the pads on her fingertips.
“Why are you bringing a guy in here?” Uraraka asks the three, clearly upset. “He needs our help.” Hirosa says, making her way to the fireplace. “Momo, can we get a pillow over here?” Hirosa kneels next to the fireplace, being careful not to hurt Izuku on the way down. All the girls circle around Hirosa and Izuku.
A soft pillow emerges from Yauyorozu’s exposed stomach, landing next to Hirosa. “Thank you, Momo.” Hirosa places the pillow down before resting Izuku’s head on it. Jiro kneels down next to the two, gently placing one of her jacks into his neck. “His airway is clearing up. He should be awake in a few minutes.” Jiro tells Hirosa while disconnecting from his neck.
“You still haven’t answered my question, Kairi.” Ochaco crosses her arms. “Why is he here?” Hirosa takes a deep breath before speaking. “I know Mother has been taken, but I’m not doing this as an act of rebellion if that’s what you’re thinking. I care for Mother and our safety too much for that.”
“But he must have a Quirk strong enough if he agreed to help me infiltrate the organization’s hideout.” Hirosa explains. “As of now, he can’t do anything against us or it’ll prevent him from getting his official license and suspend my own. We can trust him. He’ll help us get mother back.”
About a few minutes later, Izuku finally wakes up. He quickly sits up after noticing the fact that five girls were staring at him. “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!” He gets up from the floor, actively freaking out. “Girls!”
“Izuku, please calm down.” Hirosa stands up, “These are my sisters. They helped me nurse you back to health.” Izuku listens to Hirosa, having calmed down after his little freak out. “Can we just appreciate the fact that he went for ‘girls’ instead of calling us the W word?” Kyoka whispers to the others, getting shrugs in return. “Ok, I’m calm. Sorry for that.” Izuku scratches the back of his head. “It’s fine, just don’t make a habit of it. Now, we gotta head out and meet up with Mashirao.”
With little to no conversation, Izuku and the coven head out of the cottage, on their way to save Madam Midnight and All Might…

My Hero Fantasy
Chapter Seven
Warnings: major character death/self sacrificing/sui€ide/murder (you might wanna grab the tissue box, I’m not holding back), grief, repression, swearing, self reflection for Mineta?
Notes: Izuku is Quirkless, no one speaks medieval
“What did you do?” Tanaka looks up at All For One. Without turning back to Tanaka, he explains what happened to Yaoyorozu and Koda. “Each floor is set with a certain death trap. It’s an excellent way to keep out the pests. Why do you think we’ve always used Kurogiri’s power to get here?” Tanaka’s stomach dropped at All For One’s explanation. Please, whoever you are, please survive.
Outside of the first room, the rest of the group watches as the portal closes. They had seen Koda’s and Yaoyorozu’s sacrifice. “No… no…” Jiro says, quietly as her hand goes to her heart. Her heart itself quickens in speed. “Yaomomo…” The group hears Hagakure sniffing. Hirosa holds back her tears, saving her strength. “We need to continue.”
The group turns away from where the portal closes, finally seeing where they are. They were in a pitch black abyss. Blue stairs serving as the only light spiral upwards into an even more of a black abyss several stories above them. There are multiple portals similar to the portal they just came through. “I count 12 more portals.” Shoji says, multiple of his duplicate eyes looking up. Jiro, who still hadn’t even got up from the floor, hooks one of her jacks to one of the steps. “There’s no enemies in here. It’s too suspicious. We should be cautious.”
The group starts their trek up the stairs, only for Izuku to be startled by his shadow growing from under him and turning into a monster. The red of the shadows following suit, growing to the same height as their respective person. The twenty shadows gather around the group.
“What the hell are these things?!” Bakugo yells. “Everyone, form up!” Ojiro says, urging everyone to ready their weapons. Ashido strikes at her own shadow with her Quirk, causing it to return to its proper place at her feet. “Guys! Just hit them!” She tells the group. The shadows, hearing this, made their way up the stairs. Kirishima takes care of his own shadow, both him and Ashido running into the next portal. Izuku tries to run after them, only for the portal not to let him through.
Past the portal, Ashido and Kirishima find themselves in a new room. “Where are the others? The portal is still open.” Ashido ponders near the portal. Kirishima looks down at his feet. “I think we’re the only ones who made it through because we defeated our shadows. Theirs probably still haven’t returned to them.”
The ground starts to shake and a massive monster appeared from the ground. Its roar was more ferocious than the first one. Kirishima activates his quirk and runs towards it, only for it to hit him away, causing him to run into Ashido and knock them both into the ground.
Outside of the portal, the rest of the group couldn’t get through. “What’s going on?! How did they get through?!” Mineta yells. Izuku then looks at his feet, noticing his shadow wasn’t there. “They went in because they retrieved their shadows.”
“Eijiro, I may have a crazy idea of how we can defeat this thing.” Ashido turns to Kirishima, both worn out from a long fight. “Can you trust me on this?” Kirishima nods to her. “We’ve been fighting this thing far too long.”
“Ok, I need to get in there.” Ashido tells him. “My acid can’t touch it from the inside, but maybe it can from inside.” Kirishima thinks it over, finally settling on is answer. “Mina, let me go in with you.” Kirishima wraps his arms around Ashido before running towards the monster. Ashido keeps a hold on Kirishima as he jumps up into the monster’s throat. As the two made it in, Ashido places a hand on the monster’s throat, pushing her Quirk to its limits. I’ll go beyond, plus ultra.
With her using her Quirk being pushed this much, she starts to drain herself of her own acid, causing her skin to change color and her horns to grow. Her acid burns the inside of the monster, killing it and her. With Ashido’s lifeless body, Kirishima sinks further into the monster, his life taken, too.
Outside, the portal closes and opens up the pathway. The rest, having seen Ashido and Kirishima go into the monster, said nothing. Hirosa continues to push back her tears, rushing ahead. “We need to continue!” She shoots down the two shadows in her way, none of them being hers. Shoji and Sato look down at their feet, having their shadows returned to them. “Thank you, Kairi!” Shoji says, running into the next portal. “We’ll take it from here!”
He goes into the portal, Sato following suit. The two find themselves in another room the same as the first two. They faced another monster, more terrifying than the first two.
Sato takes a tube out from his pocket, emptying the contents into his mouth. His strength grew as he headed towards the monster, Shoji following him. The monster grabs the two by their heads. “We must go beyond!” Shoji says, reeling multiple duplicate arms back to punch the monster, Sato catches onto the idea. “Plus ultra!” The monster was defeated but the two pass out from exhaustion. A toxic gas emits from the corpse of the monster, killing them in their sleep.
The portal closes, leaving more room for the group to continue. In front of them were two more shadows. Mineta and Kaminari rush past Hirosa before she could make a move. Mineta brings his axe down on the smaller one while Kaminari uses his Quirk on the taller one. Both of their shadows return to them and they went into the next portal. “Wait, Denki!” Jiro tries going after them, but couldn’t due to her shadow still being detached from her.
In the next room, there was no monster, just the portal on the other end. “I don’t understand it. Where’s the monster?” Denki says to himself, but soon wishes he hadn’t said anything. Mineta drops his axe to the ground, kneeling down. “It’s me, isn’t it?” His voice was low, confusing Denki even more.
“Kairi’s face a couple days ago finally drove it into me, I think. My actions towards the girls had made them uncomfortable. I failed them in life, but I won’t in death.” Mineta looks up at Kaminari. “Denki, please. For their sake. I’ll go beyond so they can go plus ultra.” Feeling broken from his friend’s admission, Kaminari nods, fulfilling his wish. Kaminari places his hand on Mineta’s head. “100 volts.” Mineta drops on the floor, eyes closed in bliss. Kaminari picks up Mineta’s axe, unaware of Jiro’s protests behind the portal. “Go beyond. Plus ultra.” As the axe makes contact with Kaminari, the portal closes.
Rage fills Jiro, regret as well. “You stupid idiot!” She yells out, rushing towards two shadows in front of her. She gets her shadow back, as well as Iida’s, who runs into the next portal with her.
Hirosa breaths out a sigh. “When will this madness end?!” It was getting harder to hold back her tears. “I hate this.” Behind her, Ojiro, Hagakure, Uraraka, Aoyama, Tokoyami, Dark Shadow, Todoroki, Asui, and Bakugo stayed silent watching Jiro and Iida from beyond the portal.
Jiro collapses to the ground. “No… not Momo… Not Denki…” She chocks out sobs. Iida kneels down beside her, placing his hand on Jiro’s shoulder. The ground snaps out from beneath the two, dropping them into volcanic lava. It was so sudden, no one hardly knew how to react as the portal closes.
Three more shadows blocked the way to the next portal, but Kairi immediately shoots them down, taking all of them out. Asui’s, Sero’s and Uraraka’s shadows return to them as they rushes into the portal.
Uraraka takes a breath. “Whatever’s here, I hope we can face it.” She notices a large mirror in front of her. She touches it, activating her Quirk. “Wh-?” Uraraka cuts off Sero. “Just in case this thing gets dislodged, I don’t want it to crush us. Now let’s get to the other side.”
Almost immediately after she said that, a girl with blonde hair rushes out from behind a couch. “Oh my! New friends!” She had a knife in one hand as she rushed towards Asui. She tries to slash at her, but the blade barely breaks skin as Asui camouflages herself and hops away as the girl run towards Sero, stabbing him in the arm.
Sero immediately goes still, falling to the ground. “A knife shouldn’t have killed him instantly.” Asui says, dropping her camouflage while standing next to Uraraka. “Of course not.” The girl grins horrifically. “It’s laced with poison. And don’t even think of trying to turn it against me, I’ve grown immune.”
“Tsu, I’ve got an idea.” Uraraka says before going to whisper into Asui’s ear. “Are you sure? kero.” Asui says softly after Uraraka tells her the plan. Uraraka nods and then Asui camouflages herself once more. Suddenly the mirror gets dislodged, but still floats above the floor, thanks to Uraraka’s quirk.
Uraraka quickly grabs a hold of the girl, throwing her onto the ground, knocking the wind out of her.
“Release!”
The mirror falls, crushing the two. The portal closes and Asui drops her camouflage, stumbling to the ground. “Tsu!” Hirosa runs up to Asui, Hagakure following her. Hirosa catches Asui before she reached the ground. “I’m- I’m not gonna make it.” Tsuyu says, looking up at her sisters. “Please don’t say that, Tsu!” Hagakure cries out, invisible tears streaming down her face.
“Toru…” Tsuyu lifts her hand up, Hagakure’s hands immediately catching it. “Please, help mom and Kairi.” Hagakure sniffles, her head resting against Asui’s. Asui then turns to Hirosa. “Kairi, please don’t repress your emotions.” Tsu says, her own eyes brimming with tears. “It’s unhealthy.” Hirosa, while still continuing to hold back tears, nods her head.
“Go beyond… plus ul-”

My Villain Fantasy
Chapter One
Warnings: talk of death, grief
Notes: this is the second book of the series, no one speaks medieval
Two figures in shadow creep around an abandoned castle. “Quick in and out. It should be easy.” One of them says to the other. The two made their way to the castle, using their Quirks to climb the walls.
“Careful, your majes-” One say to the other, but got cut off. “Not here, Rumi.” The two find their way to a window and slip in. They weren’t able to make it that far, due to someone in the castle finding them. A shiver ran through one of them. “Dang it! I can’t use my Quirk!”
Rumi gently picks up her partner, hopping out of the window, making a run for it.
Tumblr media
The next morning, Izuku makes his way to the tavern. It had been a year since Kacchan’s passing and Izuku hadn’t been out on as much adventures as he would have. He barely even slept the night before.
Walking into the tavern, Monoma immediately notices him. “WOW! You look like trash! Hey, aren’t pro adventurers supposed to look better than that?!” Monoma sends himself into a laughing fit. “Hey, Monoma.” Shinso says to him. “Yea-” Monoma’s fit stops and his face goes blank. “Shut up and continue working.” Shinso tells him, and he immediately listens.
Hitoshi Shinso
Quirk: Brainwashing
This special power allows the user to put their target in a state where they are forced to obey all of the user's commands.
“It’s actually good that you haven’t been around here, Midoriya.” Shinso says to Izuku. “He’d been like that since Kairi and Mashirao died. It’s gotten quite unbearable. By the way, someone’s waiting for you at the booth over there.” Shinso points towards a nearby booth, a young man with white hair was sitting quietly with a drink.
Izuku makes his way over to the booth. “I heard you’re looking for me.” He asks before taking a seat across from the man. “Yes. So, you know King Endeavor has been in hiding for a year now?” Izuku nods. “Well, there’s something in the castle and my sister has been investigating it for a few months now.”
“So, you want me to help your sist-” Izuku gets cut off. “No! I need you to stop her. It’s to dangerous for her to be involved. She got her Quirk erased the last time. Who knows what else could happen to her.” They young man finishes his drink. “Just, think about it. After what happened to Shoto, and with another death in the family 15 years ago, I can’t loose my sisters.” He gets up from the booth, going over to the bar to pay for his drink.
A half hour passes and Izuku was still in the booth. A group of five people in hoods enter the tavern. One of them slams their hand on the table. With that, Monoma hands over most of the coins in the counter. One of the figures visibly stiffens. “Is something wrong, #3?” A slightly shorter figure asks. “The missing Quirk.” #3 points over to Izuku. “He has it, ma’am.”
Villain: #3
Quirk: Search
This power allows the user to monitor and observe up to a hundred people at a time. This includes knowing their locations and weak points.
The group head over to Izuku, immediately catching his attention. “You, why haven’t we seen you?” The short woman crosses her arms. “I don’t get out much.” He point blank said to her. “Ok, stop messing with me. I know your Quirk is transferable. Give it.” She says. Izuku stays quiet, not paying her much mind.
“Fine, but we’ll be back.” She immediately gave up. Her and the others heading to leave, only for her to stop in her tracks as Eri, who had been in the room since before Izuku got there, caught her attention. Eri reaches out her hand, only to feel a shiver up her spine.
Villain: Eraser
Quirk: Erasure
This power allows the user to cancel out the Quirk of anyone they look at.
The group leaves, but not before Monoma placed a hand on #3’s shoulder. “Feel free to come again.” None of them responded to him as they head out of the tavern.
“Eri, are you ok?” Shinso kneels down next to her. She shrugs. “I felt like my Quirk was gone, but it’s not. It felt like Dadzawa, but different.” Eri explains, painting a slightly clearer picture for Izuku. That villain can cancel out Quirks like Aizawa used to. How does she have that power? Are they related? Izuku walks over to the two. “I’m gonna go out and look for those villains.” Shinso stands up, extending a hand to Izuku. “Allow me to go with you. I need to know who that person is.” Izuku, albeit against the idea, let Shinso go with him.
Tumblr media
In the streets of a small town, six little girls (all ranging from toddler to five years old) were huddled together. All of them were scared of what was to come. They had all been tossed out of their homes and families because the community believed little girls with powerful Quirks were of the devil.
Soon, nighttime came. Instead of people coming out with pitchforks, ready to end the girls, they see a pink fog rolling in. As the villagers eventually did step out of their homes, they were immediately put to sleep by the fog.
After the entirety of the town, besides the girls, fell asleep, a cloaked woman walks up to them. “Don’t fret, my children. I’m here to protect you.” The warm voice says to the frightened girls. “Will you?” The oldest one asks. The woman holds out her arms. “I promise you all.” The girls, feeling the sincerity of the woman’s words, accepted her help. The six girls gathered in the woman’s warm embrace.
That was the start of The Midnight Coven…
