Ch.12 Bakugou vs Uraraka

“Okay! Let’s see who we’ve got for you next! The sixth match showcases two completely redundant quirks! One is a passionate, manly fighter made of steel! The hero courses class 1-B, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu! Versus! A passionate, manly fighter made of rock! The hero courses 1-A, Eijiro Kirishima!”

“LET’S GO KIRISHIMA! SHOW THIS GUY WHO’S THE BETTER MAN!” You howled in praise to the boy below.

Eijiro gave you a thumbs up from his place in the arena before getting into a fighting stance, running forward as the okay to start was given. You leaned back in your seat, turning to look at Izuku when you noticed the empty seat next to him.

“Is Ochaco getting ready for her match?” You asked him.

“O-oh, uh,” He looked startled, as if you were asking him an answer to a pop quiz, “I assume so. She’s been looking kind of down though.. I think she might be worried about having to fight Kaachan.”

“You think so?” You questioned, even though you did believe that was true.

Even though she was putting on a brave face, you could picture her using it as a front to hide her true feelings. Although you wouldn’t know for sure unless you confronted her.

“It’s possible.. I was thinking of some strategies just now to have Uraraka to best utilize her quick to be able to have a chance to beat him!” He mumbled, flipping through the pages of his burnt notebook.

You could only nod aimlessly as he was whisper-mumbling his plan to you, unsure of when he’d stop.

“Deku,” You cut him off, hand on his shoulder. “Why don’t we go talk to her? You can tell her all about your plan then and we can provide her some support.”

Izuku blushed at the feeling of your warm hand on his, and while he would love nothing more than to do exactly that with you, he knew you were excited to see Kirishima’s match. While that thought made his heart heavy for some reason, he knew he wanted to be a good friend and make sure you weren’t going to do something you would regret.

“A-are you sure you want to go? I mean, you would miss Kirishima’s match..” His shoulders slumped.

“Yeah I’m sure,” You smiled, “Eijiro’s got this in the bag! But, even then I’m sure it’ll be awhile. I mean, look at them.”

You motioned towards the two fighting boys and couldn’t help but laugh.

“They’re so evenly matched it’s scary! They might go on forever at this rate.”

“Well, only if you want to..”

“Of course I want to! I’d like to wish my friend good luck before she starts!”

“R-right!”

The both of you got up and headed towards the second waiting room, walking in silence all the way.

Comfortable silences often reminded you of your home life. Your father, while very loving, was often not very talkative. It was short and sweet, straight to the point. Blunt almost, but in a good way. It was relaxing and you were glad you were able to share this with Izuku while you could.

Izuku, on the other hand, was feeling a little overwhelmed. Not be the fact you weren’t talking, no, more so at that fact your shoulder kept brushing his and he had no clue what to think. He was acting crazy, he knew, but you were a girl.

A pretty girl.

A pretty girl that has warm hands, and a cute smile, and a lovely laugh. A pretty girl who is crazy smart, and has a wild determination, and such strong quirk. A pretty girl with a scary dad as a top pro hero, and you didn’t let that get the better of you. You worked so hard and Izuku couldn’t help but admire you for it. That must be why he felt so nervous around you, yea you were a girl but you were also someone he looked up to. There couldn’t be more to it than that, right?

“Izuku?” You called out to the boy as he continued to walk even after you stopped by the door.

He turned to face you with a shy smile, rubbing the back of his head.

“Whoops, I uh, was lost in thought!”

“You dork, this is the room right?” You questioned, pointing at the door in front, but not really asking for confirmation as you were already going to head inside.

“Yeah,” Izuku looked at the number and his heart stopped, “Oh wait-”

He was too late, you had already opened the door and walked in.

“Hey-Oh it’s you.”

You looked at the person in the room and did a double take, mildly shocked. You weren’t expecting to see him here.

“What the hell are you doing here shitty girl?” Bakugou huffed at you, standing up from his stretches to glare as he didn’t appreciate the interruption.

“Sorry, I thought this was waiting room 2, guess I was wrong!” You laughed, backing out.

“Tch, of course you were wrong dumb ass can’t you read!?” He yelled back.

You ignored his loud shouts as you walked through from where you entered, pausing to look back at him.

“Oh yeah, good luck out there!”

“ I don’t need any luck, I’m going to win dammit!”

“Yeah of course you will, shitty boy.”

“WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY!?”

You closed the door with a snicker, looking at Izuku who was waiting awkwardly off towards the side.

“Sorry, did you want to say something to him too?”

“N-no, Kaachan wouldn’t like at all.” Izuku sighed.

You grabbed the boys wrist and dragged him quickly along, hoping that you’d get there soon without any more delays.

“He’s a big baby, don’t worry about him. We need to hurry up and get to Ochaco!”

Izuku felt his face heat up at your gentle grip. It was funny, your hands were so soft yet still so rough. Most likely due to your quirk, having light wrap around your hands must not be all that great for keeping them smooth, but that didn’t bother him in the slightest.

All he could do was nod dumbly as he let you pull him around, and couldn’t help but think he wouldn’t mind it if you were always pulling him around like this. Especially if your hand were to be in his instead-

He shook his head of all thoughts as you let go, stopping in front of the correct door this time and opening it. He spotted Uraraka at the table and Iida standing right next to her.

“Hey Ochaco.” you greeted, walking in and standing next to Iida. Who you also greeted once you saw him.

Izuku followed you inside making sure to close the door behind you both and stood right next to you.

“Deku? (y/n)? Why aren’t you guys watching the matches?” Uraraka questioned, a surprised look on her face.

“Well Eijiro’s match is probably going to take a while.” You shrugged.

“And most of them ended how I expected them to, so we figured it was alright to not have to watch the whole thing.” Izuku added.

“We also wanted to wish you luck, how are you feeling?”

“Well this is it, I’m next,” She looked at the table as she squeezed her hands together, “my fight is up.”

“I think you’ll be fine! There is no way Bakugou would use the full power of his explosions on a girl.”

You looked at Iida strangely.

“Why wouldn’t he? Everyone is the same to him, just another person getting in his way. Gender doesn’t matter.”

“She’s right, he definitely wouldn’t care. Everyone is trying to get the top, that includes him.” Izuku agreed with you, a serious look on his face.

“Plus, I accidentally saw him just now, and he looked determined as ever.”

Uraraka made a squeal and you put your hand atop hers.

“You’ll be great no matter what, there’s no need to worry.”

She gave you a look that seemed as if she was trying to smile, but it came out as more of a grimace.

“Listen,” You gave her hand a light squeeze, “my dad told me something like this; the moments you feel this way, unsure or nervous, are the reasons why you have to go for it. You’ll win no matter what, whether you win the match or win the ability to grow and persevere. He said, ‘Let your fear turn into your driving factor, give yourself a reason to fight.’! Because no matter what, we’re all here for you, cheering you on!” You grinned at her, relieved when she smiled a true smile as well.

“You’re right-well, you’re dad’s right too! I know it, it’s just..” She sighed once more as she took her hands from under yours to twirl her fingers together.

“W-well maybe I can help!” Deku chimed in, holding his notebook up for the room to see, “I have a plan on how you can use your quirk to beat Kaachan. It’s not much, but it was the best I could come up with.”

“Hey! Well alright, this is perfect! There’s no way you can lose from a plan from Midoriya!” Iida gave a thumbs up, a dorky grin on his face.

It was almost unnerving to see such a smile, but you had to say it was a nice change.

“Thank you for doing that for me Deku, but no thanks, sorry.”

“Huh?” The boys, and you, made a noise of shock.

“You’re wonderful Deku.. I see that, over and over again. I know that during the cavalry battle I said it was good to team up with friends, but I might have just been relying on you too much. Which is why when the others said they were trying their best to beat you, I felt kind of embarrassed for myself..”

“Uraraka.” Deku whispered, unsure of what to do at such a confession.

You felt the same way, feeling awkward and a little bothered by the words she said, but you pushed it down and just moved out of the way as she strode past you all, heading towards the door.

“So it’s really fine you guys. Everyone is facing their future and giving this their best, that means we’re all rivals. Iida, (y/n).. Even you and me Deku. So, guess I’ll see you in the finals.”

She was shaking, and it wasn’t hard to spot the wavering and almost fake grin on her face. She was nervous, and she had every right to be, but as long as she was facing her challenges you couldn’t ask for anything more for her.

“While we’re waiting for Tetsutetsu and Kirishima to recover, why don’t we move on to the next match?”

“Well then good luck! You’ll win this for sure!” You grinned enthusiastically, hoping a bright smile would help.

She only nodded back before leaving you three in the waiting room alone. You looked at the boys who shared a worried look with you.

“We shouldn’t worry, Ochaco is smart. She can handle whatever Bakugou throws at her.”

“Yes, we should believe in her capabilities in this situation.” Iida agreed, sighing out as he also followed the path out the door.

“Well, we should get going back to the seats.” Izuku muttered.

The three of you went back to the stands, taking your seats in the front row once more as the two walked onto the arena.

“The 8th and final battle in the first round of matches! He’s kind of a hotshot, and just look at that determined face! From 1-A’s hero course, it’s Katsuki Bakugou! Versus! The underdog here, also from 1-A’s hero course, Ochaco Uraraka! Let the 8th match begin!”

The match was the most interesting fight you watched so far, the way they attacked each other at full force was a sight no one wanted to miss. You always new Bakugou was a skilled fighter, he always has been. But Uraraka wasn’t backing down. She ran head first for him, sort of following the plan Izuku had thought of even if she hadn’t heard it herself. But as soon as she went to touch her, he blasted her back.

The rest of the match didn’t let up on the excitement, there were plenty of moments were it looked like Ochaco was going to get the upper hand and come out on top, Bakugou’s relentless attacks didn’t allow it. However, the crowd began to boo him for it, and you felt yourself grow angry. Didn’t they see what was going on? Couldn’t they tell he wasn’t fooling around, that he was proving he saw her as an actual threat?

Also, couldn’t they see what was floating right over their heads?

“The crowd is booing Bakugou!”

“Who was the man that started this uproar? Are you a pro? Because if you’re being serious, you can go home and hang up that cape. I’d suggest looking for a different career.”

“Anyone know what he’s talking about?” Izuku asked.

“Are you kidding me?” You questioned in disbelief, “Do you not see it either? Bakugou isn’t being rough to toy with her, he’s acknowledging Ochaco. Plus, look up idiots.”

“Bakugou’s fierceness is an acknowledgement of his opponents strength. He knows that she is deserving of getting this far. So, he’s doing whatever it takes to keep her at bay and make it out on top.”

The boys did as you said and gasped at the sight of the cement floating above, what seemed to be hundreds of them. She quickly released them and as soon as she did, Bakugou aimed for the sky and blew them away. The blast was so large you felt the pressured air from it, making your hair blow behind you harshly.

“Bakugou shows a huge demonstration of power! He blasted Uraraka’s finishing move away and remains unscratched!”

You saw how she froze in mid turn, falling down from the exhaustion. You felt bad, knowing how upset she would be. But you were proud of her nonetheless. She fought well and she shouldn’t be ashamed of it.

“She’s reached her limit.”

“Yeah, it was too much.”

“Uraraka is K.O’d. Bakugou advances to the second round.” Midnight announced, after walking to check on her.

“And that’s it for the first rounds! We’re taking a quick break then we are back for more matches!”

A House, Not a Home ( Dabi x Todoroki!Reader )

Warning(s): This is siblings. It is not a romantic story. Don't be gross. This will have spoilers for the current Manga arc, though not many. A little bit of health-related issues but nothing too graphic. Title inspired by Madds Buckley's Dabi song.

Ages: 0 and 6

Rei sat on the futon, legs tucked under her as she held you close to her chest. Her fourth child, smaller than the other three had been. She loved all of her children but as she looked down at the crying newborn, she knew this wouldn't be enough for her husband. He would want another one to get the perfect prodigy. A small sigh left the woman's mouth. She was getting tired. She knew she had to keep it together for her children but she wasn't sure how long she would be able to keep this up.

Everyone else was asleep as she rocked you in the main room, or so she thought. Bright turquoise eyes came into view and she couldn't help but let her heart speed up. Enji had been a good husband once but after Fuyumi, he could no longer focus on anything but his legacy. He needed to be first and if he couldn't, then he would create the next number one hero. This kept him from ever being soft to his children or wife. Had you woken him up? He was never pleasant during the middle of the night... She had learned that the hard way just after Touya was born.

As smaller feet shuffled closer, Rei felt her shoulders relax. She couldn't help but be frightened by her son Touya at times. He had the same eyes as his father, so extreme and filled with a fire she couldn't describe. There had been nights where she worried Touya would follow his father's footsteps of intensity but moments like these gave her hope. He only ever acted this way when it was just the two of them. He had to be the cool big brother around his siblings and he dare not show any weakness in front of Enji. Rei wished she could change that, she really did. But, she was only one woman.

"Is she alright?" He spoke softly, eyes as wide as the moon itself as he stared down at your flushed face.

"Yes, she's just hungry is all. Babies need to eat a lot you know. You'll probably hear her cry a lot during the night but you don't have to worry. Mommy will take care of her." Rei ran her hand ever so slightly over your fuzzy head. What color hair would you have? White like her own? Red like your father's? She was just gratefully you had inherited her eyes. She didn't know if she could take another pair of those piercing eyes.

"Won't she get fat if she eats all the time?" Touya quietly sat down next to his mother, shoulders brushing against one another in a silent piece of affection. Love was shared in secret in this house. Enji didn't want Rei to make his boys soft because she babied them. He was better with Fuyumi but Natsuo proved that he hadn't learned his lesson.

Touya was too young to remember Natsuo or Fuyumi when they were babies. He had been four when Natsuo was brought home and barely over a year with Fuyumi. This was the first time he would ever truly get to experience the troubles that came along with a newborn. Natsuo still cried a lot but he just was scared to sleep by himself.

"Oh no, darling. She's growing and needs all that energy. Just like you are a growing boy. You know, she's lucky to have a big brother like you...."

"Really?"

"Of course. All of your siblings are grateful for you, Touya. Don't ever think differently." She ran her free hand through his white hair, caressing his face as she pulled away, attention shifting back to you.

As you squirmed in her arms, she feared for your safety. She didn't have the best of health and Touya had inherited that, though not as severely as her own. Rei feared that you had inherited it more than any of the other children. Giving birth had been hard and there was a moment there when they didn't know if you were going to survive. She never wanted to admit that Enji was right but you were weak. Just a baby born into a harsh world. How would she be able to keep you safe?

"Touya, I need you to promise me something."

"Anything!" Touya could be described as a mommy's boy, though he hid it as much as he could. All of her children preferred her, as most children do prefer their mothers. It didn't help that Enji was as rough and intimidating as he was added onto that.

"This is your little sister and it's your job as a big brother to protect her. She is going to need you more than Fuyumi or Natsuo. She's sick and could really use a good big brother in her life." Rei spoke softly, eyes shifting between her two children who were awake. She didn't want to put such a burden on her eldest but something in her stomach made her fear for your future. Enji would see you as weak and interact with you as little as possible. Natsuo was too young to be a real big brother to you just yet. Touya was the best chance for you to get a good male figure in your life.

"Can you promise me that you'll always protect her?"

"Of course, mommy! I'll be the best big brother you've ever seen! I'll make sure she never cries around me!"

Rei smiled and hoped that was true. She knew if her children were going to get affection from somewhere other than her, it was going to have to be with each other. Enji was a demanding father and while Rei tried her best, she couldn't help but get tired at times from her own health issues. Touya had taken on the duty of leading his younger siblings as soon as he could walk but this was different. She could feel it and she didn't know if that was going to be a good thing or bad.

"Would you like to hold her?" Touya nodded in awe as his mother placed you in his arms, keeping her own hands there as a safety precaution. You were still so young, it would be some time before she really trusted Touya to hold you all on his own. But, she would teach him. There was so much in store for all of her children, that much was certain.

You looked so fragile like you could break if Touya even looked at you the wrong way. He could play rough with Natsuo, though he would get in trouble if he made his brother cry. Fuyumi was only two years younger than him and though she was his little sister, this felt different. So tiny...So little.

Your sobs quieted as you were moved into your brother's arms, your attention now shifting to this new person in front of you. At that moment, Touya felt his heartache for the future. He knew his dad wasn't the nicest but he wouldn't let his dad do anything to you. Not while he was around. He would be your guardian angel.

"Don't worry," He whispered as you stared up at him with watery eyes, "I'm gonna make sure you never get hurt. You'll never have to cry when I'm around. I'm gonna be your new big brother and I won't let anything happen to you.

Ages: 3 and 9

A sharp yelp followed by loud cries brought Touya rushing to the backyard. How had you even gotten out? Was no one watching you? Mom should have been...But since Shoto was born, her attention shifted to focus on him. She didn't do it on purpose but she gave him most of her attention. It was more likely to be Touya who calmed you after a nightmare, not Rei. He was the one who cleaned your cuts and put a bandaid on them.

As he ran outside, he was shocked to see you sitting on the ground, tiny fires alight on the blades of grass surrounding you. It wasn't hard to stomp out such small fires before they got big but he was more concerned about you. Why were you crying so much? What happened? Someone was always watching you, or at least he thought so. He had slipped when doing his homework. If you got hurt, it was his fault.

"What is it? Tell me, show me." He spoke, moving to where you were sitting with your legs pulled close to your chest. You were hiding your chubby hands behind your knees, shoulders shaking as you let out sobs. He was never the best when it came to you crying. He normally would just curl up next to you when you had a nightmare but it was different when you were hurt. You were always the one to go to him crying when you got a small cut or when you fell. Yet, now you were cowering away from him.

"Show me." His tone was more serious this time as he wrestled with you, finally getting a hold of your chubby hands. He felt bad when he saw you wince but he needed to see what was wrong. What if you had broken your wrist or cut off your fingers? How would you do that? He didn't know but he was sure going to find out if you had. He hadn't been expecting what actually had happened. How could he? You were still so young...

As you unfolded your hands, he was greeted with the sight of harsh burns. There was nothing around you that could have burnt you, nothing obvious anyway. He looked over your arms quickly, in a small state of panic. He may be more mature than some kids but he was still only nine. He only knew so much. The next thing he noticed was how hot your arms had become, something he had only ever felt between two people.

Taking a closer look, he noticed the dim light shining through your skin where your veins would be. When he ran his finger along the lines, he could tell they were the hottest part. The rest of the heat was dispersing from those areas. His stomach began to drop as he realized what had happened. He had hoped, dreamed, prayed that you would inherit everything from your mother. Sitting here on the grass with you now proved to him that he was wrong.

"It's okay! I know how to deal with this, you just burnt yourself a bit. It's going to be okay. Nii-chan gets burned all the time. I'll make it feel better. Let's go inside and we can watch a movie, how about it? We can do that after we get your hands fixed up." Even though he was still young, he was able to hoist your body up and carry you inside, though he was shakily wobbling the entire time. One day he would be big enough to carry you without having trouble. He hoped it wasn't obvious how worried he was about the situation.

He hadn't been prepared for when you would show your quirk for the first time. He had hoped that it would have been something ice-related. Something like Natsuo or Fuyumi. Something like your mother's. A quirk that wouldn't hurt you but he hadn't gotten that lucky. You shared the same fire that your father and Touya had within them. Would yours be as harsh as his own? The flames had been red so that was a good sign.

He was skilled at taking care of burns at this point because of his own quirk. Touya knew he was going to have to tell your father about your quirk appearing but, what if that made him focus on you more and make you train like him? This was still a little young to be showing your quirk. Maybe he could just hide it for some time while he taught you how to control your power. Touya could still remember how painful it had been when his father tried to teach him to hold his fire in. He wouldn't let that happen to you, he couldn't.

He would never let your father hurt you. Not while he was around.

Ages: 9 and 15

It was late in the night when you heard someone walking around when everyone was supposed to be asleep. Who would be up at this time? Shoto would be asleep for sure...Fuyumi too. Perhaps Natsuo had gotten hungry in the middle of the night? It wouldn't be the first time he had snuck around at night to fill his stomach. If you didn't know any better, you would think his quirk was a black hole in his stomach. You would never understand how he could eat as much as he did. Still, a snack didn't sound that bad.

Wrapping yourself up in your blanket, you made your way to the main room of the house where the front door was. Instead of seeing Natsuo as you had assumed, you saw your eldest brother Touya instead. He wasn't in his pajamas like he should have been...As you looked him over, you noticed that he even had his shoes on and was tugging on his leather jacket.

"Nii-chan?"

Touya's head shot in your direction, a wild look in his eyes. His neck was bandaged up and you weren't sure if it was because of his quirk or if your father had done something to him. Enji was roughest on Touya. Both verbally and physically, Enji always would hurt his eldest son. Touya had been good at hiding it but there were still rare occasions where you saw something you weren't supposed to. Glimpses of the truth.

"Where are you going?"

"(Y/N)..." His voice was hoarse. Had he been screaming? Was he getting sick? He crouched down, eyes staring at the wood of the floor as you moved closer to him. How would he explain this to you? You were the closest with him out of all of his siblings. He had been hoping to slip out without having to say goodbye to anyone. It would hurt less and it would leave less of a chance that he would be caught.

He could still hear what his mother had told him the day she brought you home as you moved closer. He was supposed to protect you but he couldn't stay there anymore. It was too much. You would be fine with Fuyumi and Natsuo to protect you. Plus, there was Shoto, you weren't the youngest anymore. You could live without him.

"I need to go away for a while, okay?" Slowly, his head moved up to make eye contact with you. He had to keep it level even as you began to tremble and form tears in your own eyes. He had to do this, no matter what. If he stayed tonight, then he would just be reminded tomorrow why he wanted to leave tonight. It was the best opportunity that he would have for some time. Your dad had drunk some alcohol tonight and would be passed out upstairs.

"Where are you going?"

"I don't know."

You shuffled over, unable to truly understand what was going on. Touya reached out, pulling you into his arms, and began to run his hand through your hair. Your mother would be so disappointed with what he was doing but he had to be selfish. Sometimes you had to look out for number one. Sure, you would have a crappy childhood but your dad never hurt you. If Touya stayed, he didn't know if he would make it to his next birthday. He had to plan for his own survival.

"When will you be back?"

"I don't know."

"Will you be back?" This question was quieter than before. Timider, meeker. He could hear the fear in your voice but knew what he had to do. He knew what the answer was. No, he wouldn't be coming back. He was running away for good this time but how do you tell your kid sister that? Plus, if he did explain, there was a chance that you would tattle.

Without answering, he let go and stood up, pushing you back a bit so there was space between the two of you. A few stray tears were running down your cheeks, had Touya seen it as he turned his back on you and opened the door? He had to leave before he changed his mind.

"I love you!" You whisper-shouted as the door shut behind his retreating figure. Touya was walking away from the life he knew and walking into a new one where he would become an entirely different man.

Had he heard you?

You knew you should have gone and woken up your father but something kept you from telling. You trusted your big brother and he had gone away before in the past. Maybe this would just be like those times and he would be back within a day or two. That had to be it. If not, where was he going to go? Even after the door was closed, you couldn't move from the entrance, eyes trained on the door as if he would walk in any minute.

This would be the last time you would ever get to hug your brother.

Ages: 15 and 21

It had taken some convincing to be allowed but somehow you got your father to let you attend UA. Today would be your first day and while you were excited, you were scared at the same time. It had never been easy being the daughter of a top hero. It was hard to know when someone really wanted to be your friend versus those who are just sucking up in hopes of meeting your dad. Would that be worse here since these people actually wanted to be heroes?

A small sigh left your lips as you brushed a stray tear away. Shoto would be coming here in two years. He was already the pride and joy of your father. You had times where you would doubt whether or not he actually loved you or not. He would rather see you locked up in your room than out. Fuyumi said he was just being overprotective but you weren't so sure. You thought it was because he was ashamed of you.

This was to prove him wrong. Was that the wrong reason to become a hero? To prove someone wrong? Maybe...You liked the idea of saving people but the biggest thing pushing you was your father. There was a fire inside of you that yearned to prove him wrong and get his approval. Still, Shoto didn't always have it easier than you. While your father barely paid attention to you, it was rare that he wasn't pushing some training on your younger brother. Ever since your mother...No, you shouldn't think about that. The past would only ever haunt you and cause nightmares. Both the events with your mother and Touya's death. You kept telling yourself that you needed to move forward. Today was a new day.

"Hey, are you lost? Whatcha looking for? Maybe we can help you find it!" A loud and booming voice spoke, laced with nothing but kindness. Quickly turning, you were greeted by a blonde boy and a black-haired boy. The blonde had a huge smile on his face while the black-haired one was trying everything he could to keep you from paying attention to him.

Instinctively, you tugged at your sleeve to hide your arms even more. People always would look at you weird if they noticed the scars covering your arms. They would judge you, just like everyone does. For once, you wanted someone to be willing to get to know the real you and not assume things because of your appearance and your father's reputation. Even still, the blonde seemed to radiate sunshine and you almost changed your mind on how they would react. Almost.

"Oh!" With a small sniffle, you pointed quickly at the main building of UA, "I'm looking for 1-A. This is my first year going here and I guess I'm just a bit nervous. I don't know anyone who is going here so...It's just been one of those days, you know?"

"Really?! We both are going to 1-A too! We are gonna be in the same class!" The blonde wrapped an arm around his shy partner, pulling him into the conversation whether he wanted to be a part of it or not, "Why don't we walk there together? We'd be happy to be your new friends if you want! The more friends, the better, right Tama-chan?"

The black-haired boy didn't respond.

This would be your first time ever meeting your two future best friends. Mirio and Tamaki would become almost as close as family to you. How many nights would you end up staying at Mirio's just to stay away from home? Late night walks with Tamaki because you couldn't sleep due to your nightmares?

Dabi was making his own friends on the streets, or whatever you could call friends. He was filled with rage and a fire that had only grown since he had left home. He would see clips of his father saving the day and reporters gushing over him. If they knew the truth, they wouldn't be acting like that. Someone just needed to prove it to them.

And Endeavor? He deserved to pay for everything he had done to Dabi. He needed to hurt as much as he made Dabi hurt. The older boy knew he wouldn't be able to do that alone and began to make allies in the underground areas of the city. Drug dealers and gang members. He would climb the ladder and become a true villain but everyone had to start somewhere. He would need help to get his revenge and he was okay with playing the long-con.

Ages: 17 and 23

Civilians were running in a panicked state as fire surrounded them. Screams were all you could hear save for the blood pumping in your ears. As you searched the crowd for a hero, you were greeted with the sight that you were terrified of. There were no heroes in the area. Not yet. They would be here in less than fifteen minutes but you knew how crucial that time could be.

Fifteen minutes.

As everyone around you ran from the flames, you ran into them. The flames licked at your skin as you entered the chaos but your skin allowed it to glance off of you. You had grown used to the feeling of being burnt due to your own quirk. Deep red scars that followed the patterns of your veins littered your body due to the fire inside of you. In certain lights, your scars could even come out to be slightly purple in color.

You had been going to UA for three years now and this was the exact situation you were being trained for. It was this pulling inside of you that lead you towards the danger that made you a real hero. You were a real hero. You wanted to be a real hero...When would a real hero get here?

"Oh, do we have someone playing a hero here? A schoolgirl come to save the day from the big, bad villain?" Black boots crunched against the gravel of the road, each step as casual as the last as he stalked closer. Burned flesh greeted your eyes as Dabi emerged from the flames. You knew it was him, the blue flames made it obvious. You had seen video footage from the training camp. This was a specific type of fire. This was Hellfire.

"You can't do this!" Your hands clenched into fists, veins burning as your emotions began to run wild. You were terrified. This would be the first time you faced a villain by yourself without active-backup on the way. Interning at your father's agency could have its perks but it also meant you never got dangerous tasks. Even with Shoto just starting, your father took him on more hero-like outings. He was playing favorites and it hurt. Did he not think you could be a hero? Were you too weak in his eyes?

"Aw, and why not, little Matchstick?" A devilish grin spread over the burnt face, stables keeping the two pieces together as one, "Whose going to stop me? You?"

"Yes!" The quiver in your voice alerted to how scared you actually were. Just remember Mirio and Tamaki. Remember how brave they were. You wanted to be just like them and this was the perfect time to do that. They wouldn't run when people were in danger. Even if they were scared, they would go running towards the danger because they were true heroes. Mirio had saved Eri and Tamaki had protected Kirishima more times than you could count. Your heart was telling you to run as it pumped quickly but your feet were planted as if held by concrete. You wanted to be like them.

You wanted to be like your dad.

"What do you even want?" You continued, hoping to distract the man just long enough for the heroes to make their way here. Maybe Hawks would be the first to arrive. He did have his wings. Perhaps your father could use his flames as he had when fighting the nomu. It didn't matter who the hero was as long as they got there as fast as possible. You would even take Mount Lady, a hero who you had a hard time dealing with.

"What do I want? I want what every man wants!" His arms extended as his trenchcoat billowed around him, a crazed look on his face. Fire surrounded the two of you, catching anything that it could on fire. You could see why the bottom was as tattered as it was as the fire singed the fabric, but if Dabi cared, he didn't show it.

The man walked closer to you but you kept yourself in a defensive position. You couldn't run, you could end up leading him right to the majority of panicked citizens who were trying to evacuate. The best course of action, even if it meant you could end up getting hurt, was to stay right where you were. You wanted to be a hero. You were a hero! No matter how your father acted, you were a hero. How many nights had you stayed up late, practicing to control your quirk for moments like this? All you really wanted was for your father to finally see how strong you could be.

Ten minutes.

Before you knew what was happening, you felt your back hit a hard chest and a hand much larger than your own wrap around your neck. No matter how you struggled, Dabi kept you from escaping with the force he was pressing against your neck. The other hand gripped your chin, forcing you to look up at your assailant. There was a crazed look in his eyes that were as blue as his flames. It made tears well up in your eyes from fear.

The edges of your vision were beginning to blur with the lack of oxygen. Just before you felt your legs begin to give out, the man loosened his grip just enough for you to gasp at the air around you. Coughs filled the air as you dealt with the lack of oxygen as well as smoke that was staining anything it could.

"Revenge. That's what I want." His lips whispered next to your ear, causing a chill to run up your spine. This wouldn't be the first time a villain wanted revenge and it wouldn't be the last time. You used all the force you could muster and kicked the villain in the shin.

This seemed to work as he let you go, but it wasn't for long. He snatched your wrists in one hand while the other went back to its place on your neck. This time he only used enough force to keep you from breathing comfortably. This was starting to look worse and worse for you with each passing moment. Still, you just had to remember heroes were on the way. They would save you.

"And you, my Little Matchstick, are perfect for my plan."

"Let me go!" Your shrill voice screamed as you felt the flames burst around your wrists, using your own quirk now. A grunt of pain and some mumbled cursing escaped Dabi but instead of losing his grip, you felt a searing pain spread over your own skin. The pain caused you to lose concentration of your quirk, all too focused on the blue flames that the man emitted from his hands. For a split moment, the two of your flames seemed to dance around each other and turn the light a purple like Dabi's scars.

The hand at your wrists lit up like a beacon as Dabi's quirk began to come out. Screams would have escaped your lips if not for the hand constricting your breathing which was now burning your neck as well. All you could see was white as the worst pain you had ever felt kept you writhing. The flames began to creep down your arm, spreading towards your body. The hand on your neck reminded you more of an iron as there were no actual flames appearing. Some sick version of a human cattle prod. His hand print would be scarred over your neck, a permanent reminder of this night.

The next thing you could remember, you were slumped on the ground like dirty laundry. The world around you was spinning. It was beginning to darken in a mixture of you losing consciousness and smoke as the seconds ticked by. Tears streamed down your face from the pain and ash filling the air. A horrid smell wafted around and you feared that was coming from you.

"Come now, the heroes aren't going to save you. They always break their promises, just like villains. Hell, I couldn't tell you how many promises I've broken in this day alone! Heros and villains are one and the same when it comes down to it! The only difference is that villains are seen as a disgrace while heroes are praised for doing publicity stunts!"

Five minutes.

Dabi's boot came crashing down on your throat, pushing as hard as he could. You could feel the heat of life begin to diminish with each passing moment you lacked oxygen. Shouts in the distance could be heard, the heroes were almost here. Yet, they wouldn't be here soon enough. They wouldn't be here to save you. Was this really how you were going to die?

One particular loud shout registered as your father and for once, you felt grateful that he was around. He didn't even know you were here, you hadn't told him where you had gone after school. Would he be moving faster if he knew you were there? If anyone could save you, it would be him. You wanted to feel his arms wrap around you, holding you and making you feel safe one more time. He could save you.

Or at least he could be here as you died.

"Poor Little Todoroki, it seems like you are going to just miss out on the fun." The rest of the world was blurring and disappearing into the growing darkness, leaving the fire illuminated Dabi as the only thing visible.

With a smirk illuminated by the sharp blue flames, you stared up at the eyes that would be the last thing you would ever see. They were eyes that seemed so familiar to you. They were...your father's eyes. No, not your father's. That wouldn't make sense, you weren't hallucinating. No, they were eyes filled with the flames you had only seen in two people before. These were the eyes of the one who had cared for you the most once upon a time. How had it come to this? How could it be true? He wouldn't hurt you but as you lay dying at his feet, you knew there was no denying it.

"Dad isn't going to like this, now is he?"

They were Touya's.

It was another normal day for the students of class 1-A, first-term exams had finally been over and everyone was happy more than usual as their nightmares have finally ended. They finally had a short time to relax and not worry about anything. They all were looking forward to summer vacation as well as the training camp. Today was their last day before summer vacation started. Yet for some reason, as they were walking in the hallways of the school Iida demanded more than usual for everyone to head to class early. Obviously, everyone ignored him and took their sweet time. Eventually ten minutes before class started Iida started to yell at everyone who was walking in the hallway to hurry up.

"Come all now! As students of U.A, we should all be punctual to class! Even if it's the last day for the first term here!" Iida said while waving his right hand, "Midoriya! Hurry up but no running in the halls."

"Coming!" Midoriya said speed walking to the class, "Man, I should really start waking up more early." He wheezed

"Oh shut up nerd." Bakugo yelled, "And you! Why are you so much of a pain in the ass than usual."

"Bakugo!" Kirishima said, "You really need to calm down! You can't be saying that to our class representative!"

"It's alright Kirishima," Iida said as his glasses cracked from rage

'It's not alright.' Everyone except Bakugo thought, 'He's clearly mad.'

Iida then adjusted his glasses as Yaoyorozu walked right next to him. "I wished we had more time to talk about this," Yaoyorozu said looking at Iida

"Which is why I urge them to get here early." Iida stared at everyone, "Well can't be helped. Listen, everyone, we have something important to say!"

Everyone walked towards Iida and Yaoyorozu.

"To answer your question Bakugo." Yaoyorozu said, "We're having a new student!"

"Wait for real?" Midoriya asked surprised

"All right!" Kaminari said

"What really?" Ashido said excitedly

"Wait how come you didn't tell us before?!" Sero asked

"Forget that!" Mineta said as drool came out of his mouth, "I wanna know if it's a girl."

Almost all the guys were shocked as they have not realized this before. The whole class became excited and started wondering how the new student would look like.

"Aww, I hope they are one!" Ashido said excitedly

"Yeah it would be nice to have more girls in this class," Jiro added.

"You said that, not me," Mineta said as he had a stupid pervy look on his face.

'A new student.' Midoriya thought excitedly then suddenly he realized something, "Hey Iida." Midoriya said as he approached him, "I didn't know we could have a new student in our class."

"Hey, what heck!" Kaminari yelled at Midoriya

"Yeah! Why are you suddenly against it!" Mineta said, "I bet you want her all to yourself!"

"We still don't know if they're a boy or a girl Mineta." Tokoyami spoke unfazed

"No, it's not like I'm against it." Midoriya said, putting his hands slightly up, "It's just... don't you think it's strange?"

Everyone then looked at Midoriya and thought about it for a minute

"It's true."Uraraka said, "Normally you would take the entrance exam at the start of the school year."

"Yeah." Sero scratched his head, "Plus I never heard anything about entrance exams being taken during the school year."

"That's because it isn't announced publicly."

Suddenly the door to the class opened and Mr. Aizawa walked in and looked toward them. Everyone was already in their seats and stayed silent as they watched him walk up in front of the class.

"Alright listen up. Today we have a new student joining your class."

From being quiet and scared of Mr. Aizawa everyone started being loud and excited about it being true. Everyone was wondering where they are.

"Enough." Mr. Aizawa said with a stronger tone.

And just like that everyone had quiet down and went back to being afraid of him.

Mr. Aizawa then turned to the door, "You can come in now."

And just like that, you walked into the classroom.

"Introduce yourself." Mr. Aizawa said

"Hello! My name is F/N L/N and it's a real pleasure to meet you all! You said as you had your hands on your cheeks.

Everyone was excited until they saw your face. 'Hah?' Everyone thought, 'Why is her face like that?'

"You have no idea how excited I was when I found out I'll be in your class! The famous class 1-A who managed to witness first hand, the League of Villains and work alongside with the pros!" You said.

"Huh, you know about that?" Yaoyorozu asked you

"Of course! It was all over the internet and TV, I'm so honored to be here!" You said bowing down to them

"That's isn't necessary," Iida says embarrassed, shaking his hands around. Everyone was flattered by your admiration.

"Man I already like her!" Kirishima said putting his arms behind his head feeling proud of himself.

Everyone seemed happy to see you and so were you. You really admired how ordinary kids around your age got to do heroic things for others you wanted to become someone as brave as them. But you were more excited when you saw-

"Not to be rude or anything." Midoriya said, scratching his face, "But why do we get a new student? Shouldn't L/N have waited next year?"

"Right! As the class representative, I ask that you tell us why, sir!" Iida said as he stood up and raised his hand

"Sit down," Mr. Aizawa said then he turned to look at Midoriya, "As for your question, we normally don't."

Everyone sat there confused as they stared at him. Mr. Aizawa sighed and explained, "Every year we have an entrance exam to get into this school, the written and practical test. If you fail the exam you have to wait until next year to retake it. If you've been recommended then you have a different exam from the rest. However, not only do we accept students who get recommended but we also scout for students. Obviously, we tend to recruit them at the beginning of the year as well but sometimes we find gifted students later than others around the end of the first term."

Everyone looked confused on how the school managed the scouting for students part. Mr. Aizawa sighed again, "Basically if the school finds you worthy enough and you didn't participate in the entrance exam you get another shot to become a student here. Not only does U.A high school help its students become the greatest heroes, but we also let others know that they too are also worthy of becoming heroes if they chose to. "

Midoriya then soften his look and looked down at his table, 'Just like how All Might told me that I too can become a hero as well.'

"Oh so were you the one who picked L/N?" Aoyama asked

"No." Mr. Aizawa sighed, " They got scouted out by someone else and just happened to pass the exam and now they were assigned to me."

Mr. Aizawa said, defeated, "Another student to make my life miserable."

"WE ARE THE ONE'S SUFFERING! WHY ARE YOU SULKING!" The whole class yelled at him.

"Anyways." Mr. Aizawa said as he gave both the class and you a glare, "Let's go to the training grounds." He started to walk towards the door, "Since I know you guys are curious about L/N's quirk we might as well train while we're at it. Everyone go change into your gym clothes and meet me on the training grounds. Yaoyorozu you take L/N to the locker room and introduce her to her locker." He said as he walked out of the classroom.

"All right! I can't wait to see your quirk!" Ashido said excitedly as she was running up to you

"Yeah hope it's something flashy!" Kirishima said

"And elegant like moi," Aoyama added as he was all sparkly

Everyone gathered around you and you quirky got fluster.

'Omg everyone wants to know about me!' You thought

"Tch." Bakugo said as he got up and walked, "Hey loser!"

You looked at Bakugo as he pointed at you, "You may think you're all hot shit for being recruited by the school but just to let you know I'm going to be #1, so I'll crush you!" He said as he left with an irritated look on his face.

'Oh...my...god!' You thought as you stared at him leaving, 'I thought I was gonna die!'

"Sorry about him." Midoriya said as he walked towards you, "He can be really mean at times."

"I can tell." You said panicking, "He looked like he wanted to murder me!"

"Yeah, he does that a lot to us." Kirishima said, scratching his head, "But I promise he's a good guy after you get used to him!"

"I hope not." You said suddenly getting nervous, "I don't want to be yelled at for the rest of my life."

As you stretched your face out of fear Iida demanded everyone to hurry up, you then followed Yaoyorozu to the locker room along with the rest of the girls. Everyone was cheerful and were welcoming you to their class.

"It's so nice to have you here," Jiro said

"Yeah one more friend to have!" Uraraka said clapping her hands

"Another girl to hang out with," Asui said looking up as she was thinking about something

"After this let's all hang out together!" Ashido said raising her hands up high.

As you nodded happily Yaoyorozu led you to your locker to get ready for the spar, 'I can't believe I'll be sparring with everyone. The top class of first-year! I can't wait to see all their quirks.' You thought excitedly. Then as you were ready to close your locker and follow the rest of the girls you paused, 'I'll be sparring with him... I hope... he's really is as cool as he was online.' you blushed as you bit your finger.

After a while, everyone gathered up on the training ground and Mr. Aizawa stood in front of the class and started talking, "Ok." He said as he reached out into his pocket and pulled out an eyedropper and started to put some on his eyes, "Who wants to fight L/N first." He said as he put away the eyedropper.

Everyone started to shout and raised their hands,

"Me! I wanna go first!"

"No fair I called dibs first!"

"Pick me~" Mineta drooled

"Well before we do anything I will explain the rules of this fight." Mr. Aizawa said as he raised his hand to them, "Both of the students will have bandanas on their heads, and whoever steals the other one's bandana first wins."

"Oh so just like in the mocking battle at the sports festival!" Hagakure said raising her arm up.

"Heh," Bakugo said smirking as he stretched one arm up, "Too easy."

'Yeah too easy indeed.' Midoriya thought as he put his hand on his chin, 'There's has to be a reason why.'

"Well in that case I'll go first!" Kaminari said walking towards the center of the stage. You then walked to the other side where Mr. Aizawa was.

"I'll promise I'll go easy on you." He smiled

You smiled back, "Oh no, don't hesitate. Please give me your all!"

Kaminari blushed a little as Mineta got salty, 'I should have been first!'

Everyone went to the sides to get a better look at the fight that was going to happen.

"But Mr. Aizawa!" Iida raised his hand, "To fight with a beginner that's just-"

"Begin." Mr. Aizawa ordered ignoring Iida's concern over you

"Don't worry pretty girl I'll promise this will only sting for a moment," Kaminari said as he started to run towards you, quickly charging electricity to his right hand

Midoriya noticed what he was doing, 'He's changing his technique from the sports festival. During the festival, Kaminari went full-on and used his attack open wide without any calculations and lost.' He then took out his notebook and started to mutter loudly as always making everyone sigh around him, 'There he goes again.' Everyone thought

"Interesting even Kaminari can think enough to improve his skills," Midoriya said, "All he has to do is-"

'Is getting a closed range on L/N and she's done!' Kaminari thought getting closer to you, 'I'm almost close! Now I gotta make sure I touch her-'

As he thought about his sure victory a hole suddenly appeared under him and he fell. Everyone was shocked wondering where he had gone too. Suddenly Kaminari appeared falling off a hole in the middle of the air a few yards off the ground of the other side where you were. By the looks of it, Kaminari had used up his quirk and was now in his dumb state. You walked up to Kaminari and took his bandana off his head.

"Thank you for at least trying." You smile as you walked to Mr. Aizawa handing him the bandana.

Almost everyone looked at you with shock, others kept their straight faces, and one even looked like furiously writing something on a notebook.

"Well what did you expect?" he said as he stared at everyone, "Everyone wants to know about L/N's quirk and what better way than to spar." He then turned around to look at them.

"There's a reason why they are here, to begin with." Mr. Aizawa said in a serious tone, "They were specifically scouted from school and passed all the exams. Including the first term exams."

Everyone stared at you widely and stared back at Mr. Aizawa

"Do you think we let just any beginner into your class late in the school year?" Mr. Aizawa said with a serious tone, "Well think again."

Midoriya then looked at you and got serious.

"In this school, we help all students become the greatest heroes, we also let others know that they too are also worthy of becoming heroes if they chose to work faster and harder to catch up with you guys."

'That's right.' Midoriya looked at you, 'If Y/N got accepted by the school and is already at the same level as us.'

"I waited for the day we got to meet! Please." You said as you looked straight at Midoriya.

'Y/N must be very strong.' Midoriya thought as he closed his notebook and responded back to your glare with determination in his eyes.

"Show me what makes you guys the talk of the school." You blushed slightly "...Midoriya"

Fandom: My Hero Academia

Pairing(s): Bakugou Katsuki x GN!reader, Todoroki Shouto x GN!reader, Midoriya Izuku x GN!reader

Genre: Fluff

Synopsis: Soft headcanons for our main trio of boys and a reader who can’t seem to sleep during the night. Yes it’s 3am and yes I can’t sleep so I’m projecting it onto my writing.

Bakugou Katsuki

♡ Everyone knows Bakugous ass is asleep by 8:30pm and he’s out like a light

♡Unfortunately, you’re not so lucky in the sleep department, often times then not you would stay awake well into the night and only get a couple hours of rest in the early morning

♡Bakugou thinks that's stupid

♡Surviving on 3 hours of sleep ??? How were you still alive

♡Pretends like he doesn’t care but always shuts your light off if he sees you’re still up when he goes to fetch himself a glass of water in the middle of the night

♡“Wtf Bakugou I was studying”

♡“Study in the day dumbass, those bags under your eyes aren’t doing you any favours”

♡Does he have to be so rude about it??

♡OfC he does this is Bakugou Katsuki

♡Beats your ass in training so you would be more tired and sleep on time for once

♡Unfortunately, that’s not how it works for you

♡He catches you still awake at 5am when he’s waking up for his morning run

♡You didn’t sleep the entire night???

♡Actually skips his morning run just to get you to go to bed

♡“If your not asleep by the time I get back I swear I’m going to blow up your bed”

♡“Alright, alright I’m going to sleep hot head”

♡After having done his morning shower he peeks into your room to see you softly snoring away.

♡Gently tiptoes in and tucks you in so you’d be more comfortable and then shuts off your light

♡“Y/N’s taking the morning off today, give me their work I’ll get it back to them”

Todoroki Shouto

♡Shouto is a sleepy boy he loves getting his rest

♡Will be casually studying with you and you’d feel a weight on top of your shoulder as he passes out

♡Going to sleep on you is one of the signs he heavily trusts you though and can let his guard down around you

♡It’s 2am, you had both been having a little study session the night before but he had fallen asleep right before midnight struck and you were still up and typing away at the Essay you had to complete for Cementos

♡“Hmm, Y/N you’re still awake”

♡“Huh? Oh yeah I don’t normally get much sleep anyway I thought I’d just carry on with work”

♡“You should get some rest”

♡“Aah I will after I finish this don’t worry, you can head back to your room if you’d like”

♡You feel him pack away both of your supplies and get up and leave without taking your eyes off the laptop screen in front of you

♡After a good ten minutes he’s back though

♡“Did you forget something”

♡He says nothing and places down a warm mug of hot chocolate on the table next to you

♡You open your mouth to thank him but he smothers you with a giant duvet

♡By the time you’ve wrestled your way out of it you notice your laptop is gone and Shoutos huddled right next to you with his own mug of steaming hot chocolate

♡You gawk at him and he just innocently blinks back at you

♡After finishing your mug you can admit you are starting to feel pretty drowsy, the warm drink was soothing to drink and the duvet you’re in right now is more than comfortable enough for you to just close your eyes and fa...fall...fall asle...

♡You’re out like a light

♡Shouto smiles softly at your sleeping figure before wrapping you up and carrying you like a burrito back into your own room

Midoriya Izuku

♡Izuku is the first person to notice your sleep schedule

♡Or rather lack of one

♡He sees it in your tired eyes, your heavy eyebags, and your constant dozing off in the middle of class

♡So he jots it all down in one of his many textbooks

♡Whilst watching cat videos until 3am one night you hear a timid knock at your door

♡You're surprised really, no one besides you is every up this late

♡And there before you in his messy green hair and All Might pyjamas stands Deku clutching a small notebook in his hand

♡You invite him in and his face is beat red

♡HES IN YOUR ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT

♡He's not freaking out he's not freaking out he's not freaking out-

♡“Izu, is there something you wanted?”

♡Almost melts right there at the nickname you call him

♡And then remembers why he came around in the first place

♡“Actually y-yeah, I made you some notes on how to sleep better since I noticed you don’t really sleep that well at night”

♡You’re touched, you didn’t really think anyone would notice as you made sure you always had your light off at the correct time and didn’t make any noise to disrupt the others

♡The fact that he took notice but not only that,,, he went out of his way to make you a whole notebook worth of recommendations and remedies on how to sleep better??

♡You sweep him into a sudden hug, burying your face and mumbling out a thankyou into his chest

FairyTailWzard’s New Annual tradition!

2020’s Top 10 List Part One!

So here’s a list that no one asked for of the top 10 anime series I watched this year. I wanted to put this in no particular order but I figured I might as well. I’ll also be doing my top 10 fanfics from this year and my top 10 books I read this year so stay tuned for parts 2 and 3!

10.) RWBY

Uuuggghhh I really didn’t wanna put this on here… but I really didn’t watch much this year so I had to I guess :(((

I’m really not liking this right now… if my blog wasn’t sort of popular because of my rwby oneshots I’d consider just dropping the anime all together….

(I’m seriously debating on whether to watch the new season or not)

Honestly, the only thing bringing me back is my unhealthy love for Ozpin, Torchwick, and Ironwood.

Honestly, I’d give this show about a 3 or 4/10…

I used to love it so much but I think the quality of writing is going down and the show is trying to be too many things at once that I’m just losing interest.

9.) My Hero Academia

Why is this so low you may ask? Well, cause I think my main hype coming from this is the manga.

Yes I love the show, the animation studio is freaking amazing and the quality of animation never ceases to amaze me. But I love the manga a bit more.

This will probably jump up in rating around season 5 or 6 but for right now I’ll leave it in the 9th spot :)

8.) Sirius the Jaeger

Oh my GOSH, I want a second season so bad. One of my favorite OC’s I’ve ever made was for this anime (it’s Idris Tana btw) and I actually commissioned artwork for her recently and it’s SO PRETTY.

Anyway getting off-topic, the animation of this show and again with the dark and grittiness of it is what drew me in.

Actually, my late grandma and also my great aunt tagged me in a Facebook post with the trailer when it first came out cause they saw vampires and thought I would like it and that's what got me into this show in the first place.

So thank you grandma and auntie!

But I absolutely adore the soundtrack, the mix of orchestral pieces mixed with the more electro-kinda-vibes is my life (seriously go listen to “The Beginning of the Hunting” it changed my life, as an orchestra and cello geek it made my heart so happy)

7.) Tokyo Ghoul season 1-3

Ok, I’m currently reading the manga after I’ve seen the anime and lemme tell you I wish they didn’t censor the anime so much.

I can’t even find an uncensored version anymore and it makes me so upset.

The darkness and goriness of the manga is what appealed to me in the first place (yes I get weird looks for it, no I will not change my mind)

Kaneki is my CHILD and he CANNOT do any wrong. I don’t care who you are I love him

6.) Ajin: Demi-Human

Uuuggghhh to be honest the anime is kinda meh but my love for the manga is so great I am legally obligated to put this here.

Don’t get me wrong, the animation and soundtrack for this show is phenomenal and I think they got Satou down pat.

But they did dumb down and cut out a lot of interesting scenes. Scenes like how Satou takes down some of his opponents (which I can see why... many American viewers would most likely get offended by it… you manga readers know what scene i mean)

Nagai Kei turns into a bit of a whiny character instead of the smart but exasperated teenager I know and love in the manga is the anime version of Kei going to bite off his own fingers in order to climb a wall into a military base?? Definitely not. Would manga-Kei do that? Well, he already did… so... yes..,

Nakano Kou is still kind of funny but he is so much more fascinating in the manga (his backstory breaks my heart).

5.) Bungou Stray Dogs

Another new one that I was actually recommended by my friend @bright-like-the-sun-00 :) I ended up watching it originally in dub but then went back and rewatched it in sub because I love my children so much.

Chuuya is my bean and I love my OC that I created Charlie Dickens :)

(if you guys could go read her story I’d be eternally grateful).

Anyway!

This show has a fantastic cast in both Japanese and English and the music score is one of my favorites. The characters are so wonderfully hilarious and interesting and fhajxbqbaka I love this show okay??

4.) Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

I actually put this off for YEARS because my oldest step-brother kept saying I should watch it. At this point, I was refusing out of spite cause I’m petty like that. But I finally started watching and-

HOLY-

GUYS

I have never gotten so attached to a character (cough cough Giyuu) so quickly.

I have been listening to Gurenge and Kamado Tanjiro no Uta on repeat for literal weeks now and I still grin like an idiot when listening to them. I also have a potential OC/crossover coming out soon sooooo…. stay tuned??

I also broke my sister cause I showed her a post that said national donut day and had a picture of Rengoku on it… I didn’t understand it until she explained it to me and now I cackle every time I think about it.

3.) Jujutsu Kaisen

@plusultranerd got me into this blame her for the future spamming of your dashboards

GUYS GOJO SATORU IS MY LIFE NO QUESTIONS ASKED

He could literally murder me and I’d thank him. He is the prettiest anime character I have EVER SEEN and I love him so much.

Anyway anime. The show got my attention from the get-go. Itadori is such a fun main character and Megumi is me cause you know dogs.

I think I saw an ad for it and since I have Crunchyroll I figured why not and fell in love with it

AND THE ENDING SONG

BEST ENDING EVER YOU CANNOT CHANGE MY MIND

I put it on sometimes so me and my sister just start jamming out to it and we get the stupidest looks and it is amazing

2.) Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Another anime that I will rewatch over and over again until literally the end of time. Also, another series that I’ve already read/or am reading the manga.

Alphonse Eric is my cinnamon roll you can pry him from my cold dead hands.

I have cold hands and no heart by holy heck my BOY

I actually am buying the special edition hardback manga covers that are coming out and I LOVE THEM

THEY ARE SO PRETTY

Am I talking about the characters or the manga?

My answer is yes

Anyway, all of the characters in this are so wonderfully complex and have motivations and i fall in love with 99% of the characters (except for Shou Tucker, I even like Father actually)

1.) Death Parade

This has got to be one of my top favorite anime of ALL TIME.

I rewatched it early this year and this is one of the very few anime that will get me to cry and this makes me cry every freaking time.

The music is stunning, the animation is magnificent.

For being based on an animated short film, this has such potential for a second season and such a complex storyline was packed into 12 episodes.

I will forever recommend this anime to literally anyone who is looking for something new to watch.

I’m also noticing I have a thing for white-haired male anime characters with really pretty eyes….. Kaneki… Gojo… Decim...

Honorable mentions!

Darker than Black

I didn’t rewatch the whole thing this year but this anime is literally my life. Hei is such a bean and I love him.

Hunter x Hunter

Another anime i didn't rewatch completely but still adore :) I heard they’re continuing it and I’m excited for the dark continent arc!

Dororo

Technically i watched this late 2019 but whatever; I do what I want. The animation was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the gritty darkness of it. Mio will forever be my favorite character; you cannot change my mind. Some parts I did find a bit boring but overall I’d rate this a solid 6/10!

The Devil is a Part-Timer!

I rewatched parts of it and not the whole thing, I also have the first two volumes of the light novels and I forget how funny it is until I actually watch it. It has me laughing every time and never fails to put a smile on my face :)

Hello everyone!! Welcome to my blog which is centered around My Hero Academia, Haikyuu and Bungou Stray Dogs. I may add more anime soon and I'll update the rules whenever I do so.

Now, lets go over my rules for requesting for all the fandoms I write for.

NSFW?

I won't do explicit NSFW. AKA full on smut. What I will do is "suggestive" content. Flirting, making out, etc. I'm sure you catch my drift.

How many characters will you do for one headcanon?

My limit is 5. 6 if they're short and I'm feeling generous or I just feel like another character that went unnamed would fit the prompt (I may do this with HC's less than 5 characters listed)

Do you take one-shot requests? What about songfics?

Yes and yes!

Angst and crackfic?

Mhm, both are on the table.

What are characters you won't write for?

I don't read the manga for the anime I watch and write for (because... Reasons. I'll start reading them soon but for now don't judge me) So I won't be any characters that were only introduced in the manga!!

AUs you won't do?

AU wise the only thing I won't do is Omegaverse because I simply don't understand how that one works, and knowing that Omegaverse is mostly used for smut, it doesn't strike me as something worth taking my own time to understand.

Will you work with things that could be seen as triggers?

I won't do prompts centered around self harm, suicide, non-con, p*dophilia, inc*st. For those last 3 see my rule about the fact I don't write smut.

Will you write prompts that center around neurodivergency/mental health.

I'd be more than happy to, as someone who is neuro-divergent. Uncommon illnesses are also on the table because I would love to educate myself more of the topic. I'll also write for physical illnesses to, I don't care if they're "oddly specific"

Will you work for my OCs?

This is a reader insert centric blog, but I would love to hear about your OCs! My ask box is always open to OC talk

Character x Character?

This is a reader insert centric blog, but I wouldn't mind hearing about your ships, otps, etc.

What gender POVs will you write for?

I work most comfortably with gender neutral and female PoVs. If the gender of the reader goes unspecified I'll do Gender Neutral to stay inclusive and all that! My blog is a safe space for everyone!

POC!Reader x Character?

YES YES YES YES YES. I am a person of color, I will definitely write for that kinda thing!! I can capture a hispanic and a black reader's point of view most easily.

You write for girl characters?

Yeah, I'm bisexual so its not hard at all for me to write for any female character lol.

General request rules?

Don't be an asshole, specify if you want something to be a oneshot of Headcanon. If you have requested something I've said was against my rules I have full liberty to deny said request.

How can I check if your requests are open or not?

My bio and I always make a post when I close my requests, and at the end of this rules page it'll specify whether requests are open or not.

You're requests are closed but I just want to say something nice or ask you a question in your ask box, is that okay?

Of course, my ask box isn't just for requests. Send whatever you want in there.

You do matchups?

I used to and I've gotten good at them, but I realized doing those don't bring me that much happiness. I do those on rare occassions now. Milestone specials and the sort.

Will you do prompts like the reader is chubby or has big glasses, etc.

Yes. I will do prompts where the reader's appearance is the prompt.

Rules for requesting Haikyuu

What teams won't you do?

All of the teams are on the table! There are very few characters/teams I feel uncomfortable with, so feel free to send in a request for anyone!

I don't have any specific character in mind for my request prompt. Can you still do it?

Only if your request is a headcanon and if you don't specify any characters I'll go with my favorites which currently are: Sugawara, Oikawa, Asahi, Tsukki. Possibly Kenma and a few others.

Info I should have in mind before requesting

I know I say I don't read manga but I do know what all the boys do as jobs and such post timeskip, so its okay to request that.

Rules for requesting My Hero Academia

I don't have a specific character in mind. Is that alright?

I'll still take the prompt as long as its a headcanon. When I take it I'll probably just go with the main UA boys. Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto and if I feel like going the extra mile I'll also add Denki, Kirishima and Tenya.

I have a quirk specific ask in mind. Will you do it?

Yeah

Students you won't write for?

Mineta and the extra boys in 1A who get one line a season and names whom I currently can't even remember, plus those who have only been introduced in the manga. I can write for Shinsou though.

Pro heroes?

I won't write for gang orca, Mirko (I'm sorry), Endeavor (The guy makes me uncomfy as hell lmao) The ones I can write for best are the ones who are teachers at 1A

Villains?

I think the only villains whom are off the table is Chisaki and Gentle Criminal. Anyone who is in the LoV is fine.

Info I should have in mind when requesting?

I don't particularly enjoy writing for villains. I can get only a handful of there personalities right for writing with them.

Rules for requesting Bungou Stray Dogs

You said earlier you won't do anything pertaining suicide and self harm, but that's like.. Dazai's biggest personality trait.

Anything pertaining to Dazai is the only exception to this rule.

Characters you won't do?

I won't write for Kenji because he's a literal child, same goes for Kyouka (Unless its a platonic request). I won't write for Fyodor because I don't really understand his character all that well. Fukuzawa for the same reason as Fyodor. Any character who has only been introduced in the manga (I'm catching up on it though!!)

I don't really have any characters in mind for my request. Can I still send it?

Yup! And I'll probably go with my favorite characters who are: Dazai, Chuuya, Ranpo and Atsushi.

Port Mafia?

Mostly everyone in the P.M if I can get a good grasp of their personality.

I have an ability specific request in mind, will you take it?

Yup!

I love these characters more than life itself. If you give me BSD asks I wouldn't hesitate to marry you.
