Firefighter!bakugo pt 2 pt.1 here
a/c: This bakugo is softer because there's no quirks hunting him. This isn't proofread yet, and please consider that english is not my first language.
You didn't call him. He left his number on the card, the company replaced all your burnt furniture and electronics, and after all, you still couldn't look at your new stove without thinking of him. And that you never called him.
Of course, the next time you saw him, it wasn't your fault.
It was a sunny day. A few months had passed, and you were making your way for a new job interview you had pending.
You did the interview pretty well, considering your strike of bad luck. The boss and the executive of the company said that your resume was everything that they were looking for and that gave you a sort of security you hadn't felt for a while.
You were making your way out of the office after hearing the 'we will call you to discuss minor details' when a rare feeling appeared on your stomach, a slight pinch in your guts that didn't felt like it was a stomach problem.
You shook the feeling away and kept walking to the elevator, pressing the button you realized that you were free all afternoon, so you made a quick plan to go for a coffee and a donut. Lately, you were craving sugary things.
Once the elevator's doors closed, the uneasy feeling made his way back to you. You felt that something wasn't right the minute the elevator creaked before going down. The office's company was on the nineteenth floor, and you were almost reaching the thirteen when the movement stopped abruptly.
Suddenly, the light went off too.
You never thought that you would be in a situation like that, so you obviously tried to remain calm, but it didn't work.
Panting, you reached to grab your phone from the back pocket of your jeans. As you were expecting, you had no signal, mostly because you were trapped in a box made of metal.
"Hello?" You said pressing one of the buttons from the panel, the one that got a bell on it. "I'm stuck in the elevator"
No one answered, and your heart started to beat faster and faster. You tried banging on the doors, crossing your fingers that the elevator got stuck on a specific floor and not in between floors.
You considered yourself a calm person, or at least a good pretending something you are clearly not. You were good at faking because you were more afraid of feeling ashamed, but no one was around to see you panicking.
"Help!" You screamed and then waited to hear any noise coming from outside. The silence was overwhelming. "Shit"
You slid your back until your butt hit the ground and started to remember the breathing exercises you learned on a yoga session your friend made you go. Thinking that it will work was a very optimistic thought.
The feeling of your lungs stretching and trying to find the air that was lacking in the elevator was exhausting, closing your eyes, you pushed one of your hands in your chest to apply some presure on it to feel the movement and connect the moves with your brain so it would process that you were actually not dying and still breathing.
Your eyes started to close, and your body started to sweat. Was it the end of it? You got a decent degree, got drunk with your friends many times, and had a good childhood, but still, you wanted to do a lot of things, like learn how to drive, get a dog, start your own business and even make fucking cookies without setting your house on fire, you were so young to die like that.
Thirty minutes later, that felt like an eternity, you started to hear banging and voices from the other side of the elevator. You were skeptical that it was actually help and tried not to feel so excited about it, but then, a ray of light appeared from the darkness.
"I think she's conscious, guys," a voice you've heard before said.
Many hands and bodies started to work in the steel, using saws and jaws to break the door open to get you out of there.
The door cracked after a few minutes, and you were free and ready to never jump in an elevator again.
You were almost falling asleep, and you felt so weak to move, so they carried you out of the elevator and settled you on the floor.
A blonde man put a little flashlight in your eyes and looked at you very focused on his task. The sight wasn't very clear, everything looked very blurred to you. You could only see two shapes that obstructed the sunlight.
"I think she passed out while she was there. I got a faint pulse too" The same voice you heard before echoes in your ears like it was miles away but you could see the red haired man in front of you.
Oh no.
You felt your senses returning in a whiplash. That man, in front of you, was the man that went to the fire in your house and the one that was next to him was the one that went to your brother's home and gave you the box of cookies.
Fuck fuck fuck.
"I'm okay, I swear." You tried to stand in your feet, but a wave of dizziness didn't let you.
"I don't think you are," the red-haired man told you, giggling. "Wait, I know you" he stated in awe.
"Yeah, her face, it feels familiar, right?" The blonde man spoke to the other ignoring completely that you were there.
"She's the one that burned down her kitchen a few months ago"
There he was, taking off his gloves, a drop of sweat in his forehead, and looking as good as the last time you saw him. You cursed yourself in your mind. He was hot, and now after you never called him, there was a ninety-nine percent chance that he hated you.
"Move aside. I'm going to check her vitals. You two can talk with the building manager about his excuse of an elevator. " he spoke lowly to the others, and that volume of timber scratched that unworkable brain of yours.
The two firefighters stood up and patted the shoulder of his friend while he kneeled down in front of you.
You were left alone with him, the guy you turned down.
"Hey, you know I'm very sorry and -" You started to apologize.
"Do you consider yourself claustrophobic?" He interrupted, putting the oximeter in your index finger
"Mhm, I don't think so." You avoided eye contact because his serious facade was something you couldn't bear at the moment.
"Doubtful, why is your heart rate so elevated then?"
You felt how the blood in your system rose to your cheeks. He must have noticed because he lowered his head at the same time that a smug smile appeared on his face.
"I think I got what I deserved, a scare that almost ended up in death," you dramatized while he lifted a finger in front of your eyes with a tiny flashlight following the movements of your pupils. "I think that's the karma acting"
"What do you mean?" He clicked the flashlight off and reajusted himself crouched on his knees.
"You were nice to me, and I never responded" you shrugged.
Bakugo put on a face you couldn't decipher. It was a mix between thinking and not giving a shit about everything.
"Have you tried baking again?" He asked, reverting his glance from nothing to you.
You denied with your head.
"Just looking at the oven freaks me out," you let out a sigh, followed with a shiver when your mind put the memory of that day in your head.
He grinned at your words and you couldn't help the smile that appeared in your face.
"What's so funny?" You tried asking.
"How do you burn your kitchen and end up trapped in an elevator in less than a year?"
You rolled your eyes at him and handed the oximeter to him. He extended his hand to yours, and you dropped the device before his hand reached your hand. The two of you were quick on catching the device before it landed on the floor, but in the process, his hands covered yours.
Bakugo stared at your joined hands for a second before taking his away. You thought that you were the only one who felt attracted like a magnet to him, but the slight pink on the tips of his ears gave him away instantly.
"You know, there's a chance you might have hurt yourself, so we have to take you to the hospital so they can check on you properly," he explained while closing the paramedics bag.
"Great, no coffee and donuts for me, huh?" You muttered under your breath while gaining momentum to stand from your seat.
He helped you to get steady, and then he guided you to the truck.
Before you could jump to one of the seats, he stopped you.
"My shift ends up in like an hour. The doctors would want to check your vitals and see if there is any concussion from when you fainted, well that, and the time you were there without much air... I was wondering if maybe, if you want, I mean...-
"Bakubro, did you ask her out yet?" The red-haired guy appeared from the back of the truck.
Bakugo stared at him like he could burn the man down.
"He was actually doing that," you said, biting your lip and looking back at him. "And I was about to say yes so..."
"Ah man, I'm sorry... Now that I'm here, I remember I left something back there. " he left the scene very quickly.
"You thought I was going to ask you out?" He said with his eyes going straight to his hairline.
A cold shiver ran through your spine from embarrassment.
"Shit, no? I'm, oh my god, this is so...I should've died, " you whined, praying in your mind for a hole in the ground that could swallow you down.
You could feel how your body was burning from the shame. Your face red and you felt your own temperature rising.
"You thought right," he said after a moment, enjoying your suffering. "But I was expecting you to make the first move, I mean after you turned me down"
"Please, stop, I beg you," you cried. "I'll take you out, meet me in the hospital, and I'll take you to wherever you want to go, just stop"
He almost laughed at your suffering. Bakugo thought that you looked so cute when you were ashamed and blushed.
"Nah, this one is on me. You'll have your donuts and coffee after all"
He pushed you, putting his hand in your lower back to get you on the truck.

ACE
You knew nothing would ever happen between you and the Division Commander. You knew he was just a likeable guy who was friendly and warm with everyone. Countless times you told yourself that he was just nice with everyone and yet still you couldn’t help but feel your heart beat just a little faster when he smiled at you and you couldn’t stop yourself from liking him a little more each time he spoke with you and spent time with you outside of chores and tasks being done onboard the ship. It didn’t matter though, even with the knowledge nothing romantic would happen you were happy to be considered a close friend of Ace’s.
One morning you were perched on the edge of the ship’s railing and keeping a critical eye on the thick wall of cloud draped over the entirety of the sky above the next island you were approaching. It made a stark difference to the clear blue you and the rest of the crew were currently under. You were no stranger to the absurdity of the ever changing weather and separate climates certain islands had but seeing what you were going to be greeted with was starting to sour your mood. It wasn’t as fun stopping at an island if there was a storm to endure.
Glaring at the clouds won’t make them change you know.” You looked over your shoulder to see Ace hop up onto the railing and sit down beside you. Glancing out of the corner of your eye you were jealous of how relaxed he was and let out a long sigh as you returned your stare to the clouds you could now see were darker than you had originally thought.
“Who knows, stranger things have happened on these seas.” You mused, scowling harder now that the idea was in your head. “Maybe I have the ability to control weather and neither of us knew it? Don’t know unless I try.”
From beside you Ace laughed, reclining back to support his body on his elbows and grinned up at you.
“If that were possible, that’d be a pretty dumb gift. Glaring at clouds to make them obey you? You’d get a headache all day.” You rolled your eyes and laughed, getting more comfortable too, lying down and tucking your arms behind your head.
“Look we can’t all be super amazing and control fire like some people, Ace.” You teased, a small yawn breaking from your lips as your eyes closed. You were still a ways away from the stormy island so you may as well make the most of the sunshine and warmth until then. “Some of us are just boring.”
“I definitely wouldn’t call you boring.” Ace told you. Safely in the knowledge that you couldn’t see him, he could observe you carefully with softened gaze. “You’re one of my favourite people to hang out with.”
“Aw thank you love, you always know just what to say.” Your relaxed smile brightened considerably but you were too drowsy to open your eyes again to look at the man beside you. It was also why you hadn’t realised your slip of the tongue. Ace however tensed and sat up a little straighter from his once relaxed position. His eyes were widened and a soft pink was dusting his freckled skin. All this time he’d thought his feelings were one-sided and now he was hit with the reality that it might not be the case. Overcome with a burst of excitement and hope he quickly lay back down and used his hat to hide his giddy expression and began to think about how to subtly broach the subject when you were awake.
SABO
“You’re not going to improve if you don’t keep your focus.” Hack lectured, swiftly knocking Sabo back with ease. Sabo managed to recover from the attack and retaliated with one of his own that was completely dodged to the point it made the attack look so pitiful. Hack paused in the sparring match to frown at the younger Revolutionary. “Seriously, what’s with you today? Do you need to take a break?” Quickly Sabo shook his head and forced himself to keep his attention on Hack but even then he couldn’t help but feel your presence silently calling to him.
You were oblivious to the power you had over the Chief of Staff, even from the very first day you joined the Revolutionary Army you’d somehow managed to make Sabo immediately endeared to you. Given Sabo’s personality he was able to pass off his momentary slips and lack of concentration when you were around and for the most part others hadn’t made the connection. Most being the word. People like Hack, Koala, and Dragon however knew. Normally Hack wouldn’t mind and ignore it but this was the third time in the short amount of time of the sparring match that he’d seen Sabo zone out and look your way as you were speaking with Dragon about a recent mission you’d been on. Enough was enough. After knocking Sabo onto his back, Hack turned and called you over. You finished your conversation with Dragon and approached the sparring pair with a soft, expectant smile while Sabo got to his feet. “I want you to spar Sabo with me. Perhaps having two opponents will help sharpen his dulled senses.”
You became concerned to hear Hack’s less than complimentary tone at the blond and you looked to Sabo with a light frown, scrutinising his features carefully. Could it be he was sick? Was something else be bothering him? It wasn't like the Chief of Staff to be so distracted especially when it came to his training. At the suggestion of you fighting along with Hack, Sabo’s expression became a mix of uncertainty and irritation. He didn’t want to spar against you but he couldn’t outright deny Hack requesting you join them given he had no real reason to oppose it. Sabo could only take a breath and adjust his stance while praying he didn’t make an embarrassment of himself.
At first having you as part of the fight helped Sabo when it came to focusing on the fight, by having two skilled fighters attacking he didn’t have the ability to pay attention to his personal feelings. However when he kept his sight on Hack as the priority he’d slipped up and forgotten you. You took the window of opportunity and ducked under Sabo’s arm, your face less than inch from his. Quickly you hooked her arm around his and tucked your foot around his ankle, twisting and knocking him to the ground. You kept a firm hold on Sabo’s wrist and pressed your knee into his back. “Give up sweetie?” you asked innocently, unable to see Sabo’s eyes widen. Before he could respond you were abruptly called for by another Revolutionary to go out on a mission. Pouting you released Sabo and left him and Hack.
“Please tell me I didn’t imagine that…” Sabo uttered, almost begging Hack. He looked up to see the Fishman grin at him and help him to his feet.
“No I heard it too. Funny thing is I don’t think they noticed they did it.” Sabo watched your retreating form and brightly smiled.
“Interesting.”
LUFFY
For the most part Luffy can be considered fairly clueless about a lot of things if they don’t involve his ambition to be King of the Pirates and obtaining the One Piece, doing whatever he wanted and eating all he wished. That included his own deeper feelings at times. However no matter how complex Luffy’s emotions were about certain things he found it easier to break them down into more simplistic views and gain a better understanding about them. He found he had to do that with you and the longer you were part of his crew the more he had to take an inward look at his feelings. So far he was able to discern that he liked you, he liked being around you and it was mutual because you’d been all too eager to join his crew. For the longest time it was simple as that.
Things however became complicated one night after he and the rest of the crew helped free another town from a corrupt ruler. As always the celebration was a large affair with plenty of food, music and drink. While Luffy wasn’t a drinker and happily indulged in all the food he could get his hands on, you were pulled into a drinking contest with some of the locals along with Nami, Zoro, Franky, and Usopp. You’d managed to hold your own for a respectable amount but when you felt the world being to tilt and your mind grow hazy you knew you wouldn’t be able to handle anymore.
Staggering from the table you somehow managed to wander to the only spot you knew you’d feel completely safe and content with. You didn’t know how you managed it, call it instinct or sheer will but you stopped beside your Captain and slid down to sit on the soft grass beside him, leaning against his back for support. Luffy looked over his shoulder to grin at you before continuing to eat. “You lost huh?” he laughed before taking a large bite of a meat skewer.
“It’s cheating when Zoro plays.” You grumbled, shifting to get more comfortable against your Captain. “He’s so smug too. Didn’t even wanna win anyway.” You fell into soft laughter with Luffy and then drifted into content silence. Subconsciously Luffy moved while he ate, seamlessly turning so you were leaning against his side and neither of you seemed to even notice the new position.
When morning came and you woke with a hangover and lack of memory you let out a worried groan, hoping that whatever you’d done wasn’t too embarrassing or at the very least you hoped that everyone else was also too drunk to remember too. Wincing you pushed yourself up to see that you were in your own bed. Hazily you tried to force your brain to work and managed to pull out the image of Luffy which made sense, he was your go-to for anything. Knowing he didn’t drink, you knew you could also rely on him for the truth on what you failed to remember. You found Luffy sitting on Sunny’s head just as you knew he’d be but you became worried to see him frowning, deep in thought. “Everything okay Luffy?” you asked, flinching when Luffy’s head swiftly snapped around to look at you intently.
“No! You’re not allowed to call me that.” Immediately worry and guilt took hold. What had you done? Would he ever forgive you? Oh no, what if it was so bad he’d kick you off of the ship for good.
“Wh-what do you mean?“ You asked panicked and feeling sick which was not from the hangover. “Whatever I’ve done I’m sorry but I don’t remember. Please tell me what I did wrong. I can fix it.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong.” Luffy’s expression became confused. “I’ve just decided that you can’t call me Luffy anymore I like what you called me last night after I helped you to bed better.”
“Oh…” you couldn’t tell what you were feeling in that moment exactly. Desperately you tried to think what you called him, silently thankful that whatever it was hadn’t offended him. “Well if you want me to call you that instead you have to remind me.”
“You called me dear.” Luffy grinned while your face reddened.

let you break my heart again • alessia russo
part 2 of 'keep pretending pretty girl'
w/c: ~1.5k
a/n: sorry this took longer than planned my pookies but i hope its worth it🫶
------------------------------------------------------------
you make some half-arsed excuse to leave the table- an ‘emergency’ of sorts that you have to see to.
an excuse that has the girl sitting across from you rolling her eyes, and huffing out a breath- she stands to leave and you grimace at her retreating form.
apologise to lotte later you tell yourself.
each step towards the toilets your resolve disappears a little more- your dignity all but vanishes, and the ever-nagging thought that this is a bad, very bad idea fades into an afterthought.
your heart beats a little faster; nerves, excitement- or the sheer embarrassment of never being able to deny alessia what she wants, you aren’t exactly sure.
you’re the first to arrive- the walk from your table since her text, an embarrassingly short amount of time. ducking down to check each stall, making sure no one else would be there to witness.
the door swings open loudly- and your head shoots to the newcomer, your heart pumping impossibly faster- but a stranger walks through instead, shooting you a strange look at your dishevelled appearance and heaving chest.
clearing your throat you avert your eyes- pretending to occupy yourself with washing your hands. and when the stranger leaves, you check your phone- five minutes have definitely passed, yet no sign of her.
it’s embarrassing how much you wish she would walk through that door right now. you huff out a frustrated breath- the tight feeling in your chest, coiling down into your stomach, and sitting heavily in your heart once again.
you turn to leave- barely making it out the door before a hand wraps around your wrist, yanking you back in.
a familiar voice questions you.
“where are you going?”
alessia.
“home?”
you reply- and alessia rolls her eyes at you- trapping you in between the sinks and herself.
“who was that?”
she questions you again- moving her head to catch your eyes when you avert them.
“no one less.”
her eyes narrow- moving impossibly closer to you- and your breath hitches in your throat, alessia opens her mouth to speak- but loud voices from just outside the door interrupt. instead, she grabs your hand- pulling you into a stall with her, just as a horde of women pile into the room.
you’re pressed up against each other in the small space- alessia’s breath fanning your neck, her perfume thick and enveloping all your senses.
the chatter from outside the stall fades into the background- muffled voices talking about something that you can’t quite comprehend at the moment.
not when alessia is looking down at you with those eyes, and her hands are resting on your hips- squeezing ever so slightly.
she’s got a gentle smile on her face now- one that has your heart melting a little, one that makes you crumble all over again, one that makes you think she finally will tell you she wants you.
the toilets empty finally- and you take the opportunity to shove the door open, practically tumbling out of the cramped space- desperate to get away from the blonde girl.
“(y/n) wait!”
you turn to look at her- waiting for her to say something, anything.
and yet, she doesn’t.
typical.
“shouldn’t you get back to your boyfriend less?”
she doesn’t respond to that- cringing and taking a step away from you instead.
“i don’t want you to see her again.”
she whispers it- and if you weren’t so in tune with her you would’ve missed it.
“sorry?”
“i don’t want you to see her again- i don’t want you to see anyone again.”
“but you right? ‘cause you just want me all to yourself? but it’s only when you want to see me- only when your boyfriend starts to bore you- only when you’re so pissed drunk you can’t even see straight- literally. and you want to know something alessia- you want to know the saddest, most pathetic part of it all? i’d let you break my heart over, and over again.”
you don’t know what’s come over you- you don’t know where this sudden rage is coming from, but when you see alessia shrink back- you can’t stand to be in the same room any more. cause you know the moment she speaks- the moment she reaches out, and holds your hand softly, the moment she whispers that she loves you; you’ll crumble and forgive her all over again.
-
you ignore her for days after that night- not that she has the nerve to say anything to you anyway, and you avoid her at training, going as far as to complain about a non-existent tweak in your knee to be allowed to skip training and stay in the gym.
leah shoots you strange looks over laura’s head- the girl too bust talking your ear off about how cute myle is to notice anything else.
kyra questions your sudden disappearance- poking you at lunch relentlessly, until you throw a chocolate bar in another direction, the younger girl chasing after it.
lotte catches you at lunch a few days later- grabbing your elbow and yanking you into an empty conference room.
“what happened?”
her tone is gentle but her hands holding you in place, not letting you escape- tell another story.
“nothing.”
lotte’s eyebrows raise- gripping your arm tighter when you try to leave.
“i talked to alessia.”
you hum at that- shrugging your shoulders.
“what’d she say?”
“just that you were upset with her- and well grace told me and I quote ‘some jealous blonde crashed our date and your friend basically malfunctioned on the spot.’”
“yeah- that’s some way to put it. she was there, even came up to out table. we talked. that’s all.”
-
the arsenal christmas party serves a great place to get drunk- a couple weeks after ‘the great disaster’- the new name of your date gone wrong.
lotte gives you a disapproving look at the amount of vodka you’ve poured and you send her a thumbs up and a cheeky smile.
you’re a little warm- buzzing from the alcohol, and the stupid sweater katie wrangled over your head when you stepped through the door- some obscure christmas reference you don’t know.
there’s a sea of people to navigate through- most you know, friends and family of your teammates that you’ve known for years now.
the crown from the bon bon you won against kyra slips a little- the small tear in the back, a result of kyra’s displeasure at losing- your poor green, paper crown a casualty in her mission to steal the stupid knickknacks inside. momentarily blinding you, you push it up, coming face-to-face with alessia’s ugly mug of a boyfriend.
“hey, you seen less?’
you hold in your grimace at his annoying voice, swallowing down and shrugging your shoulders.
“dunno man- sorry.”
he rolls his eyes at you.
shoving past more people to look for the blonde- and with his back turned, you flip him off, mocking him, and pulling faces.
with the last bit of your drink gone- and the sudden need to pee the only thing on your mind. you wonder over to the toilets.
you stand in front of the mirror for a while after- putting your cold hands on your flushed cheeks to cool them down.
and finally, fully satisfied with your full proof method to cool down- you open the door to leave- alessia appearing right on the other side.
“(y/n)! i’ve been looking for you! i missed you sooo much!”
you don’t know whether the alcohol is coming from her, or yourself- regardless the blonde crashes into you- and you melt at her familiar hold.
“i missed you too less.”
“please, please- just one kiss, i missed my girl.”
she puckers her lips expectantly- her strong arms still wrapped around you, and the fight in your head to not kiss her, doesn’t last more than a second, before you connect your lips.
you try to pull away after a second, but alessia grabs you tighter, chasing after your lips.
you separate- heaving chests, and matching slightly swollen lips.
“i love you so much (y/n)- i don’t ever want to go back to not talking.”
“i love you too lessi, i just-“
“there you are less!”
alessia’s boyfriend interrupts before you can say anything else- he pulls her away from you and you roll your eyes as they kiss.
he pulls away- sparing you one glance and trying to get alessia’s attention.
“head home now?”
he questions.
“mmh you can- might crash at (y/n)’s.”
alessia is only looking at you- waving off her boyfriend. and he leaves without another thought.
“what we’re you saying?”
“nothing- don’t worry about it less.”
“tell me- please.”
“don’t leave if you do come back- stay, please.”
-
you wake to the sound of your front door closing- shooting up in bed.
the beds empty- because of course it is, and you fall back into the sheets with a sigh.
there’s no training anymore with christmas break- no need to ignore you and fuss over the phone with her boyfriend. no texts, no calls- she doesn’t even like your instagram photos.
not that you’ve been hanging out for a notification from her or anything.
then a few days before you’re set to start training- you get a notification.
lessi to ‘you’
-> i miss you, i'm sorry for leaving- can we talk?

you wanna do continue the one you did where the s/o gets captured? Get them rescuuuued. please and thank you :D
A/N: I actually have two of these requests in my inbox, and these got really long because I’m insane and have to write every detail, so I’m going to break these up into three different posts so people aren’t stuck reading and scrolling through a 10k fic on tumblr. Ace and Law’s will be coming soon!
Characters: female reader x Luffy
Cw: angst, drugging, near-death experience
Total word count: 2.3k
Summary: You've been captured by marines, and the Strawhats work to get you back. (Followup from this request)
Rescued by Pirates - Luffy
Luffy stood at the top of the cliff, staring down the Marine fleet in the bay. There were ten ships, and you were on one of them. Captured. Alone. He knew you were fighting, but there’s only so much you could do in a locked prison cell with sea prism cuffs.
“I’m coming.” Luffy muttered, hoping the wind would carry his words to you. “Wait for me. Don’t stop fighting.”
“Luffy, get down!” Nami pulled the captain back over the ridge, keeping him out of sight from the scouts. “If a Marine sees you this whole stealth operation is over!”
Luffy groaned and slumped to the ground. “I don’t even know why this has to be a stealth operation! If we just start smashing everything-”
“They’ll kill her.” Sanji said, and Luffy grew quiet. “If they know we’re coming, they’ll execute her now and report it to the news coo after.”
“They probably have people waiting outside her cell to do it as soon as the call is made,” Franky admitted coldly. “They don’t want another repeat of…” he trails off, and everyone knows what he’s going to say.
They don’t want another repeat of Ace. Luffy embarrassed the entire World Government when he broke into Impel Down, broke out of Impel Down, and then sailed to Marineford and freed Ace from his shackles.
“It’s possible that’s why they’re still here.” Nami’s voice was worried as she spoke everyone’s thoughts. “They’re baiting us so they can kill her. They don’t want to transport her just to have Luffy embarrass them again.”
“It would make sense why they haven’t taken off yet,” Brook added.
“Or they’re waiting for backup,” Sanji countered. “She’s a dangerous pirate, but the Navy always prefers public executions. Especially with the new leader having a personal vendetta against Luffy, he’ll want to kill her publicly if possible. I’m sure of it.”
“Then we have to go!” Luffy started to stand to his feet, frustrated with the lack of action, but Nami quickly pulled him back down.
“Let Robin and Brook handle this first part! We have to find her first before you start smashing everything to bits!”
Luffy hated waiting. Especially when there's nothing he could do to pass the time. But finally, after about 30 minutes of silence, Robin opened her eyes.
“She’s on the fourth ship in the back with the red and yellow tailwind sail. Under deck, in a prison cell. Shackles on her arms and legs, and a neck collar.”
Luffy’s eyes peeked over the cliffside to find the ship Robin was describing. He located it, and sprang forward to jump over the cliff, but strong arms held him back.
“Zoro, let me go! We know where she is!” He struggled to break free from the swordsman's grasp. “We have to go get her!”
“Hang on Luffy, we need a plan before we just jump into action!”
--
The guard change comes early today, which you find odd. Normally the Marines are dragging their feet to stand guard over your cell, but then you spot green hair poking out from the marine cap, the man next to him with a very familiar scar across his cheek, and your heart begins to beat faster.
“So, the keys?” Zoro holds his hand out to the Navy officer watching over you, who laughs in his face.
“This must be your first time imprisoning a pirate, kid,” the old man says. “We don’t keep the keys anywhere near the prison. You know how easy it would be for someone to knock out a guard and take them? Let me show you the ropes, kid.”
The old man and his colleague turn to face you for the first time in hours, ushering Zoro and Luffy to look at you now. You can see Luffy is in visible pain just from looking at you.
Your arms and legs were each shackled to the wall, and you had a contraption around your neck that looked strikingly similar to the ones the Celestial Dragons used on their slaves. Blood caked your hair and trickled down your face. Your body was littered in scratches and bruises, your clothes torn from whatever battle had happened that Luffy wasn’t there for.
“Each one of those shackles has a different key, and that neck collar too, as well as the key to the jail cell itself. Each of those keys are on a different ship, and we’ve got instructions to throw the keys into the harbor if we catch a glimpse of a Strawhat approaching the ship.
“The best part, though,” he continues, with a hungry malice in his eyes. He raises his hand to point a finger at your neck. “That collar has a fun little detonator. The Vice Admiral has the control button if it comes to that. And the collar itself administers a sedative every hour on the hour, and gives another dose if someone touches the bars.”
He smacked the bars for good measure, and you flinched as you felt a pinch in your neck.
“Honestly it’s a miracle she’s still awake. We like to hit the bars every now and then just to keep her calm. Don’t want her causing a scene now, do we?”
You were trying your hardest not to stare at Luffy. You can see the rage consuming his body as he realizes what an insurmountable task it is to save you. You squeeze your eyes shut and shake your head viciously to relay a simple message. Run. Don’t save me.
But you know he won’t listen. He never has. Not with Robin or Ace or Sanji or anyone else he’s saved against their will. And he certainly won’t do it with you either.
“I see a pretty big flaw in this whole design,” Zoro said, staring at the cell you were in. You could see he was enraged as well, but he was hiding it better than Luffy.
“Oh yeah? And what’s that, kid?”
“Can’t they just cut it?”
The old Marine let out a hardy laugh at his question. “Sea prism stone is the hardest substance in the world. Nobody can cut through that, I don't care if it’s Dracule Mihawk himself!”
“Oh, Mihawk can cut Sea Prism Stone.” The green-haired man gave a devilish smirk to the Marine.
You braced yourself. You knew what was coming. Zoro only had two swords with him, but it would be enough.
You heard a whirlwind of air swirl around you, and you could feel the weight on your arms get lighter. There were several pinches in your neck, and you could feel yourself involuntarily slip into unconsciousness.
--
Zoro had put just a bit too much power into his swings to free you, and the cuts ripped through the ship behind you. He then turned to the marines, wickedly smiling at them.
“Told ya.” He smacked the younger one with the hilt of the sword and the marine crumpled to the ground, but the older marine was fast and dodged Zoro’s attack. The Marine locked Zoro into a battle of swords, occupying his ability to get the other chains off of you.
Luffy sprang into action, running to grab you. He screamed your name as he ran to you, jumping over sea prism stone rubble and other debris to reach you. He knew Zoro hadn’t hurt you, but you were slumped against the ship wall, and he couldn’t help but think about how fragile you looked. He shook you, desperately trying to wake you up.
And then Luffy heard a beeping sound, coming from the collar around your neck. The same sound that he was helpless against in Sabaody. “ZORO!” He screamed, holding you tight.
“Forgot to mention,” the older marine grinned back at the swordsman, keeping him locked in a battle. “Tamper with the chains too much and the collar will detonate, even without a push from the button.”
Zoro tightened his muscles in horror. “Luffy, get it off of her!”
“I hear she’s the weakness of Strawhat Luffy. Let’s watch and see, shall we? Perhaps he’ll have an even worse reaction than in Marineford.” The marine's gaze was on Luffy now, eager to see him snap.
Luffy ignored the weight of what failure meant for you. He focused, letting his Haki flow through his body like he had seen Rayleigh do in Sabaody. He grabbed the collar from around your neck and squeezed, snapping it in half, and threw it away from you. In the same motion, Luffy turned and glared at the Marine, who instantly crumpled to the ground, knocked out by Luffy’s Conqueror's Haki.
“Luffy, we have to go,” Zoro’s voice was urgent. There was commotion above them coming from the deck. It was clear the Navy was alerted to their presence. But Luffy was ignoring him, desperately trying to shake you awake.
“Come on, Luffy,” Zoro insisted, stepping over the rubble. He quickly cut each of the shackles off your legs. “She’ll be fine. I’ll carry her, you punch things. Let's go.”
Zoro put a sword between his teeth and picked you up into his arms. He saw the darkness in Luffy’s eyes, and stood back to let his captain destroy the people who had tried to take you away from him.
Luffy spared no ship. Once he saw Zoro and you were safe on the beach, he unleashed his full might against the ten ships in the harbor. His crew could hear his screams of rage from the shoreline, his pent up fear of losing you spilling out into his attacks.
When he was finally finished destroying the ships, he came back to the shore and sat silently among his crew. He pulled your unconscious body into his lap, stroking your hair softly. He stared down at you for a long time, just watching the rise and fall of your chest, his eyesight fuzzy from tears.
As the sun was starting to sink over the horizon, Nami finally spoke up. “We should go.” Her voice was hoarse, and her cheeks were damp with tears.
“Not until she wakes up.”
Sanji sighed, pulling out a few small rations of food to give the crew while they waited. Luffy didn’t eat, he just combed his fingers through your hair, willing you to wake up.
Nightfall came, and you were still unconscious. The crew could see lights on the horizon. Marine ships that were supposed to lead you to Impel Down.
“Luffy, we need to go,” Sanji insisted. Luffy refused to respond, his eyes only watching you.
“She’ll be more comfortable on the ship, Luffy,” Chopper said, trying to coax the captain back to the Sunny. “She can sleep in a bed and we can monitor her more closely.”
“It’s better for her to be back on the ship,” Sanji agreed. “And we need to get moving.”
Luffy finally nodded, giving in to his crew's request. If it was better for you, then he wouldn’t be selfish. It was selfishness that got you in this position in the first place. If he hadn’t run off on his own, if he had just stayed with the group like Nami had told him too, this might’ve never happened.
He held you close to him and walked back to the ship with the rest of the crew, not speaking. When they got back to the ship, Luffy set you down in the infirmary and stood in the corner, letting Chopper take care of you.
“Let me know if anything changes in her status.” And with that, Chopper left the two of you alone in the infirmary. Luffy sat in the chair next to your bed, holding your hand and watching you sleep, waiting for you to come back to him.
--
Before you open your eyes, you can hear the heart rate monitor beeping; you can feel the harsh light against the back of your eyelids. Beside you, you can hear soft, even breathing of someone who is sleeping. Luffy. You’d know the sound of his breathing anywhere. You feel relief wash over you, knowing you’re safe with your crew.
The light is still too bright for your eyes, so your hand reaches out blindly, searching for Luffy. Your hand finds his head, and you pat him gently. You don’t intend to wake him, but he instantly stirs from his sleep.
“Y/n?” His voice is groggy as his head lifts up.
“Hi,” you whisper, your eyes still closed. “Can you turn off the-”
His body crashes into you, cutting off your question, and you wrap your arms around him in an embrace. You can hear his broken sobs of relief fill the air. “I was so scared,” he sobbed into your shoulder. “You weren’t waking up.”
“I’m okay, I’m okay,” you say soothingly, trying to calm him down. You crack your eyes open a bit, trying to adjust to the light in the room. “Thanks to you, captain.”

🤎 Context/AU (Alternate Universe): Modern AU- You and Sevika are coworkers turned best friends at her mechanic shop. She's having a little trouble telling you...something. She uses her Secret Santa gift to you to tell you.
🤎 soft!mechanic!Sevika x bubbly!mechanic!reader
🤎 CW/TW: lesbians being lesbians, Sevika is Sevika but you make her feel things...she's not sure what to make of that, blossoming relationship, pining, christmas, santa, fluff, pet names, first kiss, mistletoe, suggestive talk (you gotta close your eyes though), no use of y/n, not proofread
🤎 A/N: I know I should be writing part 2 to 'Our Love' but this idea (and Sevika period) is giving me serious brain rot. Enjoy my probably ooc ass version of Sev. This sucks ass, butttt I'll make up for it with a better post later, I promise!!
🤎 Notes: most times, I will be explicitly writing a black reader. this is not one of those times. this is a fully ambiguous reader save for the gender- female. I'm a firm believer in the beauty of Sevika's scars so to keep them in this we'll say she's a surviving burn victim.
🤎 Word count: 2.7k
🤎 You were one of the first people to apply for work when Sev first opened her shop
🤎 It was basically run by the two of you the way you became quick friends
🤎 You had come in, already dressed in a worker's jumper, the top half off and wrapped around your waist with a black cami on
🤎 If it weren't for how you were dressed, she wouldn't have even realized you were here about the job posting because she was too busy focusing on how pretty she thought you were
🤎 You started the same day
🤎 It wasn't like you two didn't notice each other, but you both put into your heads that it would be unwise for you to let your attraction go anywhere due to you guys basically running a business together
🤎 So every time you caught yourself drooling over Sev as she worked under the hood of a car, muscles rippling, grease covering her in smudges here and there....whew boy, let's just say you take a lot of....water breaks
🤎 She's no better either
🤎 The way her eyes follow your curves every time you bend over to pick something up
🤎 She stares at your lips whenever the two of you are talking, be it inside or outside of work
🤎 Speaking of which, you guys hang out- a lot
🤎 Within the first month of you working for her, she had already invited you over for dinner- as a friend
🤎 Once you guys become besties, you're over her place more than your own
🤎 You two will talk about any and everything together
🤎 At some point you call yourself trying to ignore your raging crush on your best friend and get a girlfriend
🤎 It ends in you being cheated on serially
🤎 You go to cry at Sev's the night of the breakup
🤎 This is the first time....something happens between you two
🤎 You're both drunk of your asses, you moreso than her
🤎 She's watching you intently as you curse out your ex and ramble on about all the things she wasn't meeting the bare minimum with
🤎 It's not until you've been silent for a while, lips no longer moving, that Sevika looks back up to your eyes, the two of you now dangerously close to one another
🤎 "What's wrong? I was listening I swear," she starts to defend herself
🤎 Your pupils are blown, your eyes glassy and your face flushed- whether from the alcohol, your proximity to Sevika, or a combination of both, you were too inebriated to tell
🤎 You reached up, fingers just barely grazing her jaw as you spoke
🤎 "Your face is so....you're beautiful..." you slurred, fingers ghosting over the scars that were etched into the lower left side of her face, trailing down her neck and disappearing underneath the collar of her t-shirt.
🤎 Her ears burned red hot as she just let you talk
🤎 You continued to slur on, but she chalked it all up to you being drunk until you said some words that made her heart beat faster in her chest
🤎 "'M not....s'posed to....I think....I like you...." you whispered as you leaned against her chest
🤎 Had you been a little more sober, you would've noticed the way her heart started to beat out of her chest at your words.
🤎 Actually, had you been a little more sober...you wouldn't have said that, but shhhh....
🤎 You were out like a light afterward
🤎 It wasn't until that night that Sevika started to get worse with hiding her feelings for you
🤎 She was taking you on more...friend dates
🤎 Buying you flowers because she knew you liked them and "I know you don't have anyone to get them for you right now, so..."
🤎 If you have a hobby like reading or maybe art, she's buying you new sketchbooks and supplies or she's getting you the newest editions of your favorites- all signed because hello??? she's that type of bitch fr
🤎 She gets you guys matching bracelets for your birthday after 2 years of friendship- yes, it's been that long now
🤎 Then comes Christmastime
🤎 You talked her a long time ago into doing Secret Santa with the peeps at the shop
🤎 She doesn't really see the hype, not having much experience with Christmas and it's traditions given her rocky relationship with her father, but she does it (only for you though)
🤎 This is the second annual Secret Santa for the shop
🤎 Just your luck, you don't end up getting Sevika like you wanted
🤎 That's okay though because Sevika got you
🤎 And you know she got you because of how much she's suddenly stressing the secret part of Secret Santa
🤎 Last year, she told you who she had gotten immediately, the two of you picking out your gifts for your respective people together and everything
🤎 Not this year
🤎 This year she doesn't tell anyone, not you, not anybody in the shop- and you know it, you asked around about it
🤎 She racking her brain trying to decide what to get you
🤎 Doesn't help that you're starting to render her useless
🤎 You're catching her spacing out while staring at you more often
🤎 She gets this fuzzy feeling and this misty look in her eyes whenever you're around
🤎 You kinda have an idea that she likes you back, you play into it
🤎 6 months ago, you had started returning her actions- buying her little gifts, making her lunch everyday because she'd forgotten one so many times that now she 'doesn't even have to worry about it', you plan a few friend dates yourself, you cuddle up to her more often whenever you two have your annual movie nights every week
🤎 It's all making her think maybe you know, but...last she checked you kinda liked someone
🤎 You hadn't told her who, even though you knew it was her, but in her mind she was competing with whoever this mystery crush was
🤎 She just wants you to look at her the way she looks at you
🤎 Back to Secret Santa though
🤎 The Christmas party is fast approaching and you still have no clue what the hell you're gonna do to figure out what Sevika's gotten you since you know she's your Santa this year
🤎 You've tried begging, bribing, snooping, everything at this point
🤎 She's keeping her lips locked tighter than a chastity belt at this point
🤎 The party is being hosted at Sevika's penthouse this year
🤎 You aren't allowed to help set up
🤎 You are not happy about that fact
🤎 "Relax, sweets...can't have you snooping in the gifts while we put them under the tree. You might accidentally see whatever your Santa got for you," she teased, running her finger playfully down your cheek
🤎 It was a trick. Your gift is in fact not under the tree
🤎 You decide to play her at her own game
🤎 If she wants to flirt and do all of this stuff for you, you'll do a little something for her as well
🤎 Everybody knows Sevika's got a thing for your body
🤎 You two are best friends
🤎 Best friends.
🤎 You know...those best friends that share a bed like they're a married couple
🤎 The touchy ones that make people question if they're actually secretly in a relationship
🤎 She's never shy about grabbing or smacking your ass- I mean you aren't shy about doing the same to her so it's fair
🤎 The two of you will regularly poke each other’s breasts in passing
🤎 Whenever she’s driving you to you guys’ “friend dates”, she has to hold your thigh- will 100% make up some lie that it’s for your safety (“How does you caressing my thigh make me safer, Sev?” “You’re asking too many questions here, sweets. Do you want me to move it?” “.....no.” “Then let’s ride.”)
🤎 So, with all of that known, you decided to show off said body for the party tonight
🤎 You wore a form fitting dress that was advertised as a sexy Mrs. Claus dress
🤎 The soft fabric clung to your body like it was practically painted on, the cute little fur trimmings not helping cover the fact that the hem stopped right at your mid-thigh
🤎 The spaghetti straps and plunging neckline were hidden underneath your dramatic (faux) fur coat
🤎 You topped it all off with a Santa hat and your matching bracelet Sev had gotten you
🤎 Needless to say she wanted nothing more than to see what you had on under that coat when you were the last to arrive to party- a detail you made sure you kept since she refused to let you come over to help with set up for the party
🤎 Her jaw actually dropped when you finally did take your coat off
🤎 You teasingly closed her mouth, smirking almost knowingly at her, “You’ll catch flies, hotshot.”
🤎 She’s flustered all night
🤎 Not only because you seem to be genuinely flirting with her, but because she knows what she has in store for you
Sevika was a bundle of nerves every time you looked up to catch her staring at you. You were drinking a glass of champagne, talking to...someone...she didn’t know, she was too busy looking at you to figure out which of her employees you were fraternizing with at the moment.
The time to exchange gifts couldn’t come any sooner for her.
She had been trying to work up the courage to just tell you that she’s in love with you for weeks now, and you with your games weren’t making it any easier.
You’d take all her gifts with such a grateful smile, throwing your arms around her neck, pressing a kiss to her cheek, but then the very next day you were talking about your mystery crush again.
You hadn’t said anything to the effect that you didn’t like all the advances she had been making, so she knew you at least felt...something for her...but she needed you to know exactly what she felt for you.
You looked up to catch her looking at you again, throwing her a bright smile before you excused yourself from conversation with Danny and his girlfriend who’s name you forgot the second he’d introduced her, moving across the living room to go talk to her, “Hey you.”
Boy if you could feel the way her heart was pumping and how sweaty her hands were the second you walked up.
It took her a few moments- which you noticed- to find her voice, but she managed to smile back at you, “Hey yourself, Ms. Social butterfly. You’ve talked to everyone already.”
You gave a soft shrug, “I mean, it’s not that hard to talk to them, I do work with them all, save for the people who brought their partners. Besides, I haven’t talked to you yet, hence why I’m over here.”
“Hm, true, true....How come you didn’t bring your little secret crush? Not serious enough for that yet?”
If only you know, huh?
You gave a half-hearted shrug, “It’s...complicated.”
“I see. W-” before she could continue, the alarm on her watch went off, signaling that it was time to exchange gifts.
Seeing as she was hosting this year (you had hosted last year), she was in charge of pulling every gift from under the tree and giving them to whoever’s name was on them, that person then trying to guess who bought their gift.
You didn’t get anything.
There’s no way you couldn’t have been chosen. And no one else had gotten their gift from Sevika.
With everyone else focused on their gifts, she pulled you aside into the kitchen, once again fdgety and nervous, “So...”
“So?”
“About your gift....before I....before I give it to you...I have to say a couple of things....”
“Yeah?”
She looked at you for a few moments, you could see her contemplating in her mind what she wanted to say.
She had spent hours in her mirror rehearsing this moment, yet now that it was here, she couldn’t remember a single word she had wanted to say to you.
She blinked as your hand came up to cup her cheek, “Huh?”
You gave a soft chuckle, stroking your thumb over her skin, “I said what’s wrong? You’ve been acting all weird with me all night. You’re nervous. Just tell me, babes, you know I’ll love whatever it is, especially if it’s from you.”
That did not help her calm down.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before looking back to you again, “Okay, so...I know that we’ve been really good friends for....a while now....but lately I’ve been thinking and....I....I like you...you’re nice...and you’ve managed to make 2 years feel more like 20...so...what I’m trying to say is that I....I’m-”
Your lips pressing to her cheek in a fleeting kiss cut her off as she stared at you baffled, sputtering.
You giggled again when she couldn’t come up with something to say, pointing above her head, “Sorry, couldn’t help myself.”
She looked up to find herself standing underneath a sprig of mistletoe. Her cheeks flamed red as she looked away, pulling a small box out of the pocket of her slacks, “Here.”
You eyed her for a few seconds before opening the box, gasping softly at the necklace inside.
You knew that necklace anywhere.
She told you about it the first time you slept over at her place.
She had drawn up the design years ago, saying she was going to get it made when she fell in love with a girl.
You were not emotionally prepared for more than a n ‘i like you’ tonight.
Neither was your makeup when you started crying.
She looked up worriedly, “You don’t like it....” she mumbled under her breath, sounding so unbelievably hurt.
“No, Sev....I love it.....I love you.....”
“You do?”
You chuckled through your tears, “Yes, you idiot. Who’d you think my secret crush was? I thought you would’ve gotten it when I said ‘she brought me flowers yesterday’, but instead you brought me an even bigger bouquet the next day as if you weren’t the only person that had gotten me flowers.”
She rolled her eyes, “Look, I just knew that I really, really liked you, and if I had to compete with someone else to show you how I felt, so be it.”
“You’re cute.”
“And you look like a drowned rat, stop crying sweets and let me put the damned thing on for you.”
You rolled your eyes, turning around anyway as she took the dainty necklace to clasp it around your neck. You punched her in the shoulder, “That’s for saying I look like a drowned rat.”
She took the jab in stride, pulling you closer to her as she lifted your chin with her other hand, “You’re the prettiest little drowned rat I’ve ever seen...”
You bit your lip, looking away, “You’re gay.”
“As are you, your point?”
“My poi-”
“Look at me when you talk, sweets.”
She knew what the fuck she was doing.
Even still, you brought your eyes back to hers, your voice soft as you whispered breathily, “I love you...”
“I love you too....”
“So....”
“So?”
“What now?”
She looked back up to the mistletoe above her head, pulling you forward so that it was over you now, “I show you how to actually kiss under the mistletoe.”
Kissing Sevika was instantly your new favorite thing.
She tastes like bourbon and cigar smoke with a hint of cinnamon.
Her hands went straight to your hips, pulling you flush against her, her lips were surprisingly really soft- you had yourself to thank for that for helping her “discover” lip balm- sucking you in and drawing all the air from your lungs.
You had a giddy almost drunken smile as she smirked down at you, “I think that may be my new favorite tradition.”

Hi,can u do prompt 3 and 5 with pedro cause i loved the last one u did😍
thank you for reading!! hope you like it :) xx
Pairing: Pedro Pascal x actor/actress gn!reader Word count: 1,9k Contents: mentions of minor injuries (slight blood mentions, fainting, bruising, etc), mostly fluff
“Can you repeat my line again? I'm not my best today, sorry”
A girl behind the cameras held your script up and repeated your line once more. At this point you were feeling overwhelmed, having to repeat the short scene so many times just because your mind didn't focus. Even more since this was a big project, so on top of that you felt ashamed and anxious.
Finally, the scene went ahead and everything went as planned, getting to the next scene, which was a fight one.
One, two three, four. One two, three. One, two, three, four. You counted your steps and movements, rehearsing. One, two-
“Watch out!”
You heard the yell before the cracking sound, and while you looked up you saw one of the lights come off of the ceiling.
Uh-oh.
-·-·-·-
Pedro had heard from some people on the crew that someone in the studio next to theirs had an accident, and immediately spiraled into worry. You were in that area. There's many people there, it can't be her. The studios are huge. Yeah, no. It's definitely not her. Yet he couldn't concentrate. He threw the script into the table and hopped off the chair, determined to ease his worries.
“I'm goin' to the other studio, alright? I'll come back before the break is over” he said to one of the crew members.
He started to walk to the door that led outside, and he noticed how more and more people were whispering while walking from the other studio to the one he was in. That made him more nervous, and he started walking faster. When he pushed the door, he was immediately greeted by the sight of a few ambulances and a crowd of people standing around all over the place. That's when he saw a couple of paramedics wheeling you to the ambulance. Bloody.
His heart sank and he swore it skipped a few beats. Before he could register it he was running to the ambulance, shoving some people around to get inside before they carried you away. He jumped in.
“Sir you can't be in here unless-”
“I'm family”
The other paramedic shut the door after receiving a nod from the one that was on the truck with you, and started to drive to the hospital. He couldn't do anything but watch as the man started to change the bloody cloth he was pressing onto your forehead, which was reeling with blood. Pedro took your hand.
“What's going on? What the hell happened?”
“Apparently a few of the stage lights fell off and landed on some people, most of them without major injuries, except for her” he answered, while putting some oxygen tubes around your nose and trying to stop the head wound from bleeding. “Got the worst deal, seems like it broke some ribs, got hit pretty bad on the head. We'll know more about the internal injuries when we get from the hospital.”
The ride felt like they took the longest way to the hospital. Once they arrived, they wheeled you back out and into the ER.
“Sir, you can't go in there” a nurse said, stopping Pedro with a hand on his chest. He just watched as they took you to the area where only staff could cross. He pointed at the seats a few meters away. “You can wait in the waiting area”
If he thought the ride was the worst, he was completely mistaken. The wait was killing him. He got a few calls from the director and colleagues, asking where he was, but all he could do is give them some half-assed answers of why he wouldn't be coming back. The anxiety was eating him. He couldn't stop pacing back and forth, picking at his nails, waiting for someone to bring any news. When a doctor finally called your name, he looked up and almost ran to him.
“How are they?” he asked anxiously.
“Stable. There's a minor concussion, but nothing too serious luckily. They have been admitted to the hospital, I can take you to the room, if you'd like”
He followed the doctor to the room, and when he opened the door, his heart sank to his stomach. There you were, unconscious, bandaged and bruised, machine beeping steadily.
“They may not wake up for a few days, but that is normal. We'll be monitoring them constantly” she said, seeing the anxious look on his face. “You can stay as much as you'd like. Got a chair, the bathroom and the small sofa. Figured you might want to sleep next to her”
Pedro thanked the doctor and walked over to the bed and delicately brushed your hair away from your face, seeing the bruising on one of the sides. Fuck, you looked battered. He pulled the chair closer and took your hand on his, waiting for you to wake up.
-·-·-·-
Everything hurt. Even with your eyes closed, you felt like a truck had ran you over. Then you remembered the accident. Ah, shit.
You slowly opened your eyes, trying not to be blinded by the white light. The beeping sound was drilling into your head, making the heavy headache worse. With a sigh, you went to push the button to call a doctor and see if they could turn it off, but you couldn't, since your hand was feeling very heavy.
Please don't be a cast.
When you looked at it with painfully squinting eyes, you found the source of the weight: Pedro was laying his upper body on the side of the bed, and his hand was on yours. You couldn't help but smile. He looked so soft with his curly hair everywhere, lips parted in a slight snore. You ran your free hand by his hair, looking lovingly at him. He looked quite tired and a bit dishevelled, too. That made you frown. You looked behind him to find a blanket on the small sofa. Since when was he here? Since when were you here?
Like as to answer your questions, a nurse came in with a chart to check on you. When she looked up and saw you awake, she smiled.
“Hey, glad to see you've woken up. Got ya' man here worried sick” she said as she approached you and started looking at your screens.
“If it's not much of a bother, can you take the beeping machine off? It's killing my head” you mustered, trying to seat up in pain.
“Oh sure sugar, you got a big hit to the head, and these things can be annoying, but just glad you're awake” she said as she turned the machine silent. You sighed in relief. “How you feelin'?”
“Like I got smashed by a giant stage light” you answered with smile, sighing. You clutched your side in pain, noticing the bandages. “What day is it? How long have I been here?”
“You got here a almost a week ago, been sleepin' for the entirety of it. But the handsome man you've got there has not left your side for a second. Got here at the same time as you in the ambulance.”
“He got hurt too?” you worriedly asked.
“Oh no sugar, he got here with you as a visitor. Poor thing was worried sick when you were in the staff area being attended to” she said with a smile. “You've got a good one there. Is he your husband?”
You lowered your eyes to look at him and unconsciously smiled. “No, no. Gosh, I wish. Just... Uh, just my best friend”
“Well if my boyfriend waited that long without leavin' my side I would definitely put a ring on him” she said with a cheeky smile. “But anyways, how's your head? Any dizziness, nausea, blurry vision?”
“No, only a bit of ringing in my ears at first but that is gone now. Just the hammering headache” you answered as she took out a small light and looked at your eyes.
“Well, your pupils are workin' fine so that's a good signal. Now that you've woken up, we'll keep you in observation for a little while more, but you should be good to go in a couple of days.”
“That's good” said a raspy voice on your left. You turned your head to find a sleepy looking Pedro, still holding your hand. “Hello darlin', good to see you're finally awake”
You smiled and hugged him as the nurse left the room.
“Why are you here? Nurse told me it's been almost a week! You should have gone home” you scolded him, but with a soft voice. “And your filming! Have you really been here all this time?”
“Yeah. And I'm not gonna say sorry for it. Went home once to get some clothes, the old ones were starting to smell” he said with a smile. “You'd be damn crazy if you thought I would leave you”
“Have I ever told you how you're the best friend in the whole world?”
“Sometimes, yes” he said with a chuckle. “Um, about that... I kind of heard you and the nurse”
Oh no. You felt your cheeks getting warmer and warmer.
“I- It was a joke, I... I was joking” you said, laughing nervously.
“What if I told you that I didn't want it to be a joke? If you meant it seriously?” he said, swallowing hard, holding your hand a bit tighter. “Would you... What would you say to that?”
Your mouth opened, but you couldn't get an answer out, just stammering. “I- uhm, I-”
Pedro felt like his heart was going to burst out of his chest with all the loud thumping in his ears. Maybe he shouldn't have asked? Maybe it was a joke? Unfortunately, there was no turning back.
“What would your answer be if I asked you to be my girlfriend?”
You froze. “W- what?”
He took a deep breath while closing his eyes. When he exhaled, his eyes met yours again. “I love you. I've liked you for a long time. Probably since the first time we met. This accident made me realize that I can't stop denying it, and I- I just need to know. If you don't, I'll never bring it up again and I'll be your friend. I can do that. I will, if that's what you want me to. And, shit, I know this is a lot to take in, and probably not the best of places to confess, but I can't go on anymore without an answer”
There was a silence between the two of you. Not a sound came from your throat, mouth staying agape. Pedro sighed, and he let your hand go with his eyes closed.
“I underst-”
“Ask me again”
He opened his eyes to find you looking at him with an expression he couldn't decipher. “I... What?”
“Ask me again”
Pedro hesitated. “Would- would you like to be my girlfriend?”
The couple of seconds that you waited to answer felt like an eternity to him, but seeing your smile turn into a grin and a little laugh made his heart stop.
“I thought you'd never ask. Come here” you said, yanking him by his shit to your level, and joined your lips together.
It felt electrifying. Kissing him after so long of being just friends, so many fantasies, so many dreams, felt like the best thing ever. When you softy pulled away and opened your eyes, you were met with his big brown eyes almost tearing up.
“Hey” you said, cupping his face with one of your hands. “Are you alright? Wanna take it back?”
“Never in my wildest dreams.”

𝑪𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑰𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 FT. XIAO ( FIRST POV )
!! Warning !!
Minors Don't Interact!
Disclaimer ; NSFW under the cut, mentions of female body, afab!reader with no set pronouns, masterbation and oral sex
The day before my duty as a Fatui Soldier..
Xiao told me it was his first time to feel an enormous amount of attraction and lust and he nodded when I asked him " Does Adeptis has a mating season?"
That thought wouldn't came off on my mind even I'm on my duty about the feeling of being railed and claimed by a yaksha... By an adepti, by an extraterrestrial foreign muscular hot bastard being..
I headed back to the inn to rest where I resided for the meantime along with Xiao after my 2 days duty..
I felt so tired and sweaty, and I thought that Xiao isn't home for now and so, I decided to drop my bag on the floor..
Taking every layers I have on and dropping down on the ground, leaving me only on my lace push-up brassiere and my undies..
I then throwed myself on the bed as I hug one of his pillows that smell exactly like him.. Sweet baby-daddy Almond Tofu.
I shifted my body in a comfortable position and a thought came to my mind that I should relief myself from stress since It's been a while the last I did it..
───✱*.。:。✱*.:。✧*.。✰*.:。✧*.。:。*.。✱ ───
Tracing my fingers on my cleavage down to my lower abdomen to make my body feel hotter, covering my mouth using my other hand to avoid making such noises as I slide my fingers on my panties.. Caressing my pulsating sweet clit..
I heard some footsteps but I didn't mind since my horniness convince me that it was only from the outside because this is an inn.
I then decided to insert my ring finger as I already felt myself getting wet at the thought of him fucking me relentlessly.
Letting a soft moans and my back started arching at the feeling of my fingers stroking my heated velvety walls...
Deeper and faster as I keep imagining his massive veiny cock fucking my sweet delectable kitty till I started moaning his name out, softly.
I feel my folds getting wetter and watery and so, I speed up the pace of my fingers until I reached my highest point.
Moaning his name a little louder when I ride my climax, retreating my hand back on the sheets as I breathe heavily to fill my lungs with air.
A realization hits me and I started manifesting he won't pop out of the blue since I accidentally said his name out loud.
I stood up from the bed and decided to wipe my soaked fingers using a tissue and get my clothes on the floor, my eyes wide open in surprise to see a familiar pair of boots standing in front of me. I then decided to trail my eyes from his foot up to his body.. His eyes are staring straight into my soul and I shallowed my saliva hardly out nervousness and anxiety is taking over me, hoping he didn't see me having sex but on a single player mode.
He shudder when I fell on my knees as he went closer, he then grabbed me by my arm and slowly pulling me back up on my feet then pressed his warm muscular body against mine. He remained having an eye contact with me as I felt my heart beating rapidly. I begin squirming on his touched and trying to break free from his grasps but he won't let me go as he keep staring at me with his amber eyes with an emotionless expression.
He tightened his gripped on my arms and pulled me closer back against his body and his breathing became heavy.
I then gasps when he pulled me back to him as the anxiety washes over me if he saw me relieving myself or maybe, he heard me calling his name in a sultry voice tone.
"You done it inside my own home and inside my room... My bed..."
He growls as he spoke in a serious manner with his deep and raspy voice as he glares down on me.
"You mortal have the audacity to do something obscene in my room makes me feel like I'm being disrespected!"
He yelled when he continued speaking as he tightened his grip around my arms and it feels a bit hurt as I stayed in my place, frozen.
"How dare you... You've completely insulted me by doing such a thing."
I saw his other hand turned into a fist that is tightly clenched. I then averted my gaze away from him out of embarrassment as he keep staring at me through my soul and feeling my heart racing.
He grabbed my face and turning me back towards him and our eyes meet again, I gasps by his sudden actions and he move his lips closer to mine as he get closer.
Our faces are dangerously close from each other and I can feel his breath brushing against my lips, he move even closer until we look like a sculpture of two humans almost being fused together. His eyes are glued to mine and not even blinking, a pure shock written across my face and I'm feeling overwhelmed by his presence.
My eyes wide open in surprise when he pressed his lips against mine with a forceful and dominating motion as if he is claiming my lips as a part of his body. There's an almost animalistic quality to the kiss, a raw and an overwhelming desire possess me completely. His hands grip on my hips and pulling his body close as possible, my breathing became shallow and parted my lips when he kisses me with aggression.
He immedietly pushes his tongue further inside of my mouth and sliding his hands up from my hips to my waist, tightening his grip and I started to feel my body giving in and putting my hands on his chest to keep me on my balance. The feeling of his toned-chest, his pecs making my pussy started to make a lovely bodily liquid. I close my eyes shut when I feel his hands started roaming on my body inappropriate way and letting a soft moans as his heated tongue keeps dominating me.
Xiao taste like Almond Tofu...
I decided to trail my fingers on his chest as I moaned out softly under his deep dominating passionate kiss, I feel my lips become wet with a drool and my breathing grows heavier. He growls once again and pushing his tongue deep inside of my mouth, kissing me with his every ounce of his power.
He move his hand on my neck and keep kissing me with a more force and his tongue starts dig deep inside me as if like a deep throat.
I let out a heavy moans and feeling my body becoming completely submissive as his tongue is exploring my mouth mercilessly.
He growls loudly with a sense of ownership and territorial dominance and he begins to trail up my body, I breathe heavily to gather some air to fill my empty lungs when he pulled out from his aggressive kiss and my body starts trembling and shaking when I felt his tongue tracing my jaw down to my neck.
This is it, my very dirty fantasize about him is about to get real every time I touched myself but I never expected he will be that hostile.
I whimpered out softly as my eyes narrowed at the feeling of his heated and wet tongue making my neck drenched, biting and kissing.
His bites became even more forceful and my body is like the source of every ounce of his excitement as he becoming more violent.
I started to feel my legs weaker when he trailed down his mouth on my cleavage as I continued breathing heavily and moaning softly, leaning my weight against him as if I'm giving him full responsibility. He then wrapped his hands around my body and started running them up and down slowly as he kisses my chest develop into more passionate and his tongue starts to trace down to my stomach as he explore every part of my body, biting and nibbling as he leaves his love bite marks around.
He kneeled down and my voice squeaks when I felt his breathing caressing my lower abdomen, putting my hand on his hair to keep me balance on standing and covering my mouth with my other hand to surpress the noises I made. Trailing his lips down on my thigh and I feel my undies became cold and soaked when he pulled my leg closer to his mouth, my legs started shaking from the heat and pleasure he was causing, then he licks and bites my other thigh.. My body is almost filled with his hickies and feeling so wet by his saliva.
His tongue travels above till he reaches my soaking panties and he pulled them down, my wet velvety entrance are already glistening with my secretions. I inhaled deeply as I throwed my head on my back when he slide his tongue on my throbbing clit, caressing it as he move his tongue up and down, and on a circular motion with pressure made me moaned out loud.
He then moved my other leg and putting it on his shoulder, hitting all the right spots that made my body shaking uncontrollably as I feel my pussy watering.
Feeling his teeth sinking on my clit and I moaned out loudly as he spread my womanhood open for him to slide his sharp long pointed tongue, exploring it and caresses my sweet succulent velvety walls as he got my body dominated by his warm talented tongue.

The Aurora Circus.
Poly! yan acrobats x gn reader Requests are open.
I can finally go to sleep my GOD
Kit has worked for the circus ever since he can remember. The Aurora Circus, it is known worldwide. Hell, people almost beat each other up to get the tickets for the show. The shows are different every single time, to keep people entertained and so they won’t know what happens next. Kit met his boyfriend at the circus, they even perform together, you could say his whole life was tightly intertwined with this place, and the people. You might think living there could be exciting, but after some time nothing surprises you anymore.
Kit thought that it will be like this for the rest of his life, he will marry Hero and just perform with him until he wouldn’t be able to go on anymore. He loved Hero, he loved the circus. Yet Kit can’t help but feel burn out, that is until he met you during one of the shows. It was an accident, your eyes met randomly when he was about to perform. Kit felt like time froze in place as he stared at your (e/c) eyes. They were twinkling with that childish wonder and exciment. He felt his heart speed up the similar way when he met Hero. He almost messed up his backflip. Hero noticed Kit being out of it, he noticed the stumble and that slight twitch of his fingers. Something was up, but there was no time to ask questions. He was supposed to go when Kit was finished, so he did just that. When he bowed, he noticed someone clapping excitedly, it was you no surprise there, you waved at him, and he waved back. How come you were so energetic? What will happen if you see the final show that he and Kit specially created? It felt wrong, but the somehow your attention made him feel very fulfilled. You were jumping up and down, your hair bouncing, you looked so cute. Durning the break Hero and Kit had a talk. A very serious one at that. Both of them noticed you, and you caught their interest. They wasted the break on talking, planning, and yes, they have to admit that they might have stalked you during your break.
They cooed at how you ate that cotton candy or feel very jealous when you talked to your friends. Sadly their small stalking mission came to an end because the break ended. They gave it their all, breathing heavily their eyes scanned to see if you were there watching them, and they were so glad that you didn’t get bored and left.
After the show ended you actually came up to them when they were outside taking a breather, Kit needed it, Hero needed a smoke. They didn’t expect you to actually come up to them. Kit never saw Hero extinguish his cigarette so fast, and not complain.
They were still in their costumes, so you recognized them and went to tell them that they were amazing. Kits face was red, Hero wrapped his arm around him to pull him in closer and talked with you. Kit noticed that his boyfriend's heart was beating really fast. Thanks to Hero you stayed for a bit, and after some time even Kit joined into the conversation. Eventually your friends found you and told you they were going home. Kits scowled at your friends, but only his dear boyfriend seemed to notice that. He only just looked at them unimpressed. You told them that you were sorry and even gave them your number. Kit was faster to grab it, his hand came in contact with yours, Hero saw how his eyes widened and how his body twitched slightly.
Hero waved you goodbye and took Kit to their shared trailer. The first thing that Kit said, still dazed from that encounter with you was: that you were so pretty up close, and you smelled so nice too. That one sentence made them start a whole conversation about you: our actions, how you spoke, how you moved. How you squint of your eyes when the light was too bright, or how your lips were coated in cotton candy. If they kissed, you would you taste as sweet as it? The list seemed to be never ending.
Oh, how they wanted to meet you again, so they made sure you were there for the next show. It could be very easy to arrange. They just needed to make sure you were alone so they could just whisk you away and then you could live with them. Maybe even work? They will be your personal trainers.
The next show will be the show of their lifetime, they don’t usually do tricks and but that one where the person disappears gave them an idea.

Bound souls - Part 1
1. Maybe not everything is fine
Sitting at the back of the classroom, I tried to hide behind my cascade of red hair. Today's lesson dragged on slowly, like a winter day. The professor's words bounced off the walls, forming an indistinct murmur that couldn't penetrate the barrier of my thoughts. My mind wandered far from the yellowed pages of the classics, traveling to a more personal and troubled place.
My gaze kept falling on the screen of my iPhone, discreetly positioned next to my notebook. Occasionally, the screen lit up, but it was just a trivial notification, an app update, or a reminder. It had been weeks since I had heard from them, and every day the silence grew more deafening.
The professor's voice rose in tone to emphasize an important passage, briefly bringing me back to reality. I tried to concentrate, to grasp the thread of the discourse on William Blake's poetry, but it was like trying to hold sand in my hands. Every time a thought formed in my mind, another, more insistent one, replaced it. I glanced down at the open book, Blake's verses blurred like a forgotten dream. I picked up a pen and started doodling absentmindedly on the margins of the pages, the curved lines and small drawings reflecting my restless state of mind. A wave of frustration washed over me. My mind began to race, trying to find a plausible explanation. Maybe he was busy with his studies, or perhaps with his job as a technical assistant. But deep down, I knew something was wrong. Sure, it wasn't unusual for Jordan to ignore my messages, but when they found the time, they would respond, even if just with monosyllables. This time, though, the waiting time was longer than usual. It had been two weeks since our last meeting. I still remembered his bright smile and the warmth of his hand in mine. We had talked for hours as if the outside world didn't exist. Everything seemed so perfect. And now, this silence. A silence that felt like betrayal. Every day that passed without a word from him was like a small knife digging deeper into my heart.
I was tempted to send another message, to ask for explanations, but a voice inside me told me to stop because I knew they wouldn't appreciate it.
Sighing, I briefly closed my eyes, wondering if I had done something wrong, if there was a moment when I said or did something that pushed him away. I reviewed every conversation, every gesture, desperately trying to find an answer. But all I found was a maze of doubts and uncertainties.
The sound of a notification startled me. My heart began to beat faster as I grabbed my phone. My hands trembled slightly as I unlocked the screen, hoping with all my might that it was finally Jordan. But it wasn't the message I was waiting for. It was Marianna, sitting not far from me. Her message was brief and simple: "Everything okay?"
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and felt my shoulders drop, heavy with disappointment but also with slight relief. At least someone cared about me. I quickly replied, "Yes, everything's okay, thanks," even though I knew my clever friend wouldn't be so easily fooled.
I went back to staring at the blank screen, hoping the next sound would be the right one. At the end of the lesson, Marianna approached me with a caring smile. "Freya, is everything really okay?" she asked, putting a loving hand on my shoulder. I nodded, but my smile didn't reach my eyes.
"Come on, let's go get a smoothie at the new campus stand. They say they're delicious, and I think a break would do us good," Marianna suggested enthusiastically.
I hesitated for a moment, looking at my phone again. But then I decided she was right. Maybe a bit of distraction would help me stop obsessing over that message that wasn't coming. "Okay, let's go," I finally replied, trying to convince myself that a smoothie with Marianna was exactly what I needed right now.
**✿❀ ❀✿**
We arrived at the campus stand and ordered two fruit smoothies. Marianna chose a strawberry-banana mix, while I opted for a mango-pineapple smoothie. With our drinks in hand, we decided to go to the campus park to relax and enjoy the afternoon sun. We found a spot under a large tree and sat on the grass
I tried to focus on the conversation with Marianna, but my eyes kept returning to the screen of my iPhone. The phone remained silent, as if my words had gotten lost in the digital abyss of nothingness. Marianna noticed my distraction and, after a while, decided to confront me. Putting her smoothie down and looking me in the eyes, she asked, "Freya, what's wrong?"
I tried to force a smile, but I knew it wouldn't fool anyone. "Nothing. It's just… I've had a bit of a complicated day, but it will pass." Marianna sighed, knowing I wasn't telling the whole truth. "Freya, I know you too well. This has to do with Jordan, doesn't it?"
I could no longer avoid the question. I lowered my gaze, nervously playing with my smoothie. "Yes," I finally admitted. "I haven't heard from him in weeks. I don't know what happened. Everything seemed perfect, and then… silence."
The blonde looked at me with understanding but also with a hint of disappointment. "Freya, I've always told you what I think of Jordan. His reputation on campus isn't the best, and you know it well. They're not reliable, and they only care about themselves and their ranking. I don't want you to suffer because of someone like that."
Her words hit me like a cold shower. "But Marianna, Jordan isn't like they describe. With me, it's different, really."
She shook her head, the disappointment evident. "Maybe he made you believe so, but look where you are now. You're wasting your time and energy on someone who doesn't deserve you. You're one of the most popular and intelligent girls on campus. You deserve better, someone who is reliable and caring, not someone like Jordan who disappears without explanations."
I felt a knot tighten in my chest. "But what should I do? I can't stop hoping everything will go back to how it was."
Marianna smiled at me affectionately, but with a determination I had never seen before. "You need to think about yourself, Freya. Your happiness can't depend on someone who doesn't respect you. Find someone who appreciates you for who you are, who is there for you in difficult times, and who doesn't leave you in this limbo of uncertainty."
I took a sip of my smoothie, enjoying the sweet and refreshing taste. The mango and pineapple blended in a symphony of flavors that brought me back to reality, at least for a moment. Maybe Marianna was right. Maybe it was time to stop waiting and start living.
Seeing that her words had started to make an impact, Marianna decided to seize the moment. "Listen, there's a student party tonight. I've heard it will be a lot of fun, with live music and many of our friends. Why don't you come with me? It could be the first step to freeing yourself from the memory of Jordan and having some fun."
I hesitate for a moment, the thought of going to a party while feeling so vulnerable scares me. But then an idea takes root in my mind. I look at Marianna, her encouraging smile and her hand extended towards me. "Alright," I finally say. "Let's go to this party. Maybe you're right, a bit of distraction will do me good."
Marianna smiles, visibly relieved. "Great! It'll be fun, I promise. And who knows, maybe you'll meet someone interesting."
We exchange a mischievous smile as we get up to head back to campus. If my friend knew what I really had in mind, I'm sure she would kill me once and for all.
*✿❀ ❀✿*
The evening falls quickly, and I find myself in front of the mirror getting ready. I'm wearing a simple black dress that's tight in all the right places, paired with white stiletto sandals. I've decided to leave my hair down. As a final touch, I have cat eyes and bright red lipstick. Marianna is waiting for me at the door, ready and radiant.
We arrive at the club, where the energy is contagious. The music fills the air and the rhythm is irresistible. Marianna guides me through the crowd towards a group of people she knows. "Freya, meet Alex and Tom," she says, pointing to the two guys. Alex is tall and blonde, with a contagious smile, while Tom is shorter, with dark hair and lively eyes.
"Nice to meet you, Freya," says Alex, extending his hand to me. "I've heard a lot about you."
"Nice to meet you too," I reply, shaking his hand.
Tom looks at me with wide eyes. "Wait a minute... are you Freya Hill, the famous actress?"
I nod slightly, a bit embarrassed. "Yes, that's me."
Tom grins widely and pulls out a notebook and pen from his backpack. "Could I get an autograph? I'm a big fan of yours!"
I laugh and take the pen, signing the notebook. "Sure, here you go."
Tom seems over the moon, but it's Alex who really captures my attention. "It must be incredible to be a movie star and attend university at the same time. How do you manage it all?" he asks, genuinely interested.
"Yes, it's quite challenging," I respond. "But I like the idea of having a normal life and studying like everyone else."
Alex smiles, moving slightly closer. "Well, I must say that's really impressive. You know, you're even more beautiful in person."
I feel my cheeks blush slightly. "Thank you," I murmur, feeling a strange mix of nervousness and excitement.
Marianna watches the scene with a mischievous smile. "Freya, do you want something to drink? I'm going to the bar with Tom to get something."
I nod. "Yes, please. A Virgin Mojito for me."
As Marianna and Tom head towards the bar, Alex moves even closer. "So, Freya, what do you like to do when you're not on set or in class?"
I smile, feeling a bit more at ease. "Well, I like to read, especially great classics like Pride and Prejudice or Wuthering Heights. And I love traveling and taking photographs. What about you? What do you like to do in your free time?"
"I love hiking. There's something special about getting lost in nature, away from the chaos of the city. And I'm a big music enthusiast. I play bass in a local band."
"Wow, that sounds fantastic," I reply. "I'd love to hear you play someday."
"Maybe we can arrange something," Alex says with a charming smile. "You know, it's rare to find someone you can talk to so easily."
I nod, feeling a connection growing between us. "Yes, it is. It's nice to meet someone interesting."
We start chatting, and I find out that Alex is not only funny but also fascinating. We talk about everything, from favorite movies to personal passions, and I realize that I'm starting to relax and enjoy the evening.
When Marianna returns with the drinks alongside Tom, she sees Alex so close to me. "It looks like you're already making progress," she whispers in my ear, making me laugh.
After drinking part of my drink, I feel the need to go to the bathroom. I excuse myself from the two guys and Marianna and head towards the club's restroom. I enter the bathroom, the noise of the music muffled by the walls. As I approach the sink to fix my hair, I look up and am left speechless.
In front of me, reflected in the mirror, is Jordan Li in her female form. My heart starts pounding, a myriad of questions and feelings overwhelming me. "Jordan... what are you doing here?" I ask, my voice barely a whisper.
Jordan approaches with a tense expression. "What, I can't come to a club without your permission?" she replies, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
My breath becomes shallow; I didn't expect to find her here, let alone so angry. "That's not what I meant. It's just... it's strange to see you here."
She steps closer with a determined stride, her eyes never leaving mine. "Strange, huh? Like that little scene you were putting on with those two? What was that, innocent fun?" Her voice is sharp, each word a jab.
I feel caught off guard. "Jordan, we were just talking. There's nothing wrong with that."
She shakes her head, her face contorted with frustration. "Just talking, sure. And I'm supposed to believe that?"
I stiffen, trying to stay calm. "They're just friends. It's none of your business, anyway."
"None of my business?" Jordan responds, raising her voice.
Anger starts to rise within me, fueled by her hypocrisy. "It's not! Jordan, you're the one who disappeared! Without a word, without explanations. And now you come here to make a scene?"
She takes a step forward, her hands clenched into fists. "I've been busy."
"Busy? Jordan, you just decided to vanish. You can't do that and expect me to wait around without knowing anything."
A heavy silence falls between us, broken only by the distant thump of the music. Jordan lowers her gaze, the tension slipping away from her body, replaced by something else. Then, she looks up again, this time with a mocking smile on her lips.
"I think I get it, you know? Tonight, you came here with a specific goal in mind. A little revenge, perhaps? You decided to pay attention to those two idiots to get noticed by me and make me pay for my lack of attention towards you."
Even though she had caught me off guard, I feign indignation. "Are you kidding? Believe me, Jordan, not everything revolves around you and your paranoias. I don't need games to show you how angry I am."
She steps forward, closing the distance between us. "Oh, really?"
Her closeness makes me feel a mix of anger and desire, but I can't give in. "I have the right to go out and have fun with whoever I want, and I don't need your approval to do it."
Jordan moves even closer, reducing the distance between us to just a few centimeters. "Maybe," she whispers as she brushes my hair with her fingertips, "Tell me... would you feel the same if I told you that I've missed you terribly these past weeks and that I want you to come back to my dorm to show you how sorry I am?"
Her warm breath touches my skin, and for a moment, the temptation to accept her proposal makes its way into my mind. But if I want to win the war, I can't be easily swayed. I gather all my strength, keeping my gaze steady on hers. "I'm tempted, I admit. But it will be another time, Jordan. Someone else will think of consoling me tonight."
"Someone else?" she repeats, her voice cracking.
"Yes," I reply decisively, leaving her speechless. But, as I turn to leave and return to the party, something, or rather someone, grabs my arm, stopping me. I turn back towards her in a fury, "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
They don't respond, at least not with words. Jordan takes a deep breath, while her grip on my arm tightens. Before I can react in any way, I find myself pressed between her and the wall, with her lips on mine.
It's clear that something is wrong with me.
Every time I see they, it's as if my brain turns off the reason switch and turns on the chaos switch. My heart beats faster, my thoughts get tangled, and I'm overwhelmed by a myriad of undefined sensations. It's as if they had a power over me, a power that I can't explain or control.
Marianna is right. I should protect myself, build a wall around my heart, and keep they out forever. And yet, here I am, once again in their arms.
They always manage to get into my head, to manipulate my emotions. It's as if they had a power over me, something I can't break. She makes me feel vulnerable, confused. Every time I promise myself it will be the last, that I won't fall into her trap again. And every time I fail.
Maybe it's my fault. Maybe I'm the one who can't put an end to this story, to say enough once and for all. But how do you do it? How do you leave everything behind when every fiber of your being is tied to her? When even the mere thought of losing her completely breaks your heart?
I need to find a way to regain control, if not of my heart, then of my actions. With an effort, I push her away, breathing heavily.
"You can't always behave like this, Jordan," I say, my voice trembling.
Jordan looks at me, breathing heavily, her eyes fixed on mine. For a moment, I think she's about to say something, but then she just shakes her head. "You have five minutes," she says, her voice sharp. "Five minutes to meet me in the car and leave with me. If you decide not to, I'll leave."
Their ultimatum hit me like a punch in the stomach. I stand still, my heart pounding in my chest, as she walks away, leaving me alone in the bathroom. The door closes behind her with a sharp sound, and the noise of the music fills the space again.
Indignant at their attitude, I decide to ignore her. I walk out of the bathroom with a determined step, ready to return to my friends and enjoy the evening. Who does they think are? I hadn't realized how arrogant they were... did they really expect that with an ultimatum like that I would run away with them? If so, then they are in for an unpleasant surprise. I head towards the table, trying to push her words and touch out of my mind.
But every step I take, every sound of laughter and music around me, seems to make me rethink what she said. The way she looked at me... I can't shake it off.
When I reach the table, Marianna greets me with a smile, but I'm lost in my thoughts. "Everything okay?" she asks, noticing my troubled expression.
"Yes, everything's fine," I reply mechanically, but inside me, a battle rages. And common sense has lost.
I excuse myself again, this time without explanations. I walk away from the table, heading towards the club's exit.
As soon as I step outside, the cool night air hits me. I look around for Jordan's car and see it parked a little way off, with her leaning against the hood, arms crossed, eyes fixed on me.
I approach slowly, my heart pounding wildly. "You've decided to come," says Jordan, with a triumphant smile on her face.
"Don't be too sure of yourself," I reply, trying to keep a firm tone. But she seems to ignore my warning.
When I get close to the car, Jordan gallantly opens the door for me. "Please," she says with a theatrical gesture, the smile still on her lips.
I get in the car, feeling her gaze on me. I close the door with a slight huff, giving her a stern look. "Don't think this means you've won," I say, as she gets into the driver's seat and starts the engine.
Jordan smiles again, this time with a touch of sweetness. "I think I just did, freshman." Part 2

HALF AN HOUR FOR LOVE — Childe x F!Reader Chapter 25. Morepesok
You sighed exhaustedly. Carrying a huge suitcase with all your things from the third floor by yourself wasn't the best decision. You already regretted it when you accidentally stepped on your foot, biting your bottom lip in pain. There were really a lot of things, and you needed to take some of it back to Morepesok, so you had no choice. It was hard to imagine how you would have managed this large suitcase if it weren't for…
"Hey, my love." You instantly felt relief when Ajax's strong hands grabbed your suitcase and helped you cope with this weight. The unexpected appearance of your lover made your heart beat faster, and you relaxed when you looked into his eyes. He smiled at you in greeting and, taking the main weight of the suitcase on himself, leaned a little closer to you to leave a greeting kiss on your cheek. His lips touched your skin, and a small whisper reached your ears.
"Why didn't you wait for me? I would have helped you with this."
"Sorry, I couldn't sit still." You admitted honestly, accepting the greeting caresses of your lover. You couldn't wait to go to your hometown after half a year of separation from your family, you really wanted to see your mother and Xiao, so a slight fluttering in the chest and feeling of impatience filled you from within. The corners of your lips slightly rose when Childe gently touched the skin of your lips with his lips.
"It's okay, princess. I want to see the place where you were born and lived before coming to Snezhnaya too." The ginger man smiled at you, and the two of you continued down the stairs. "But you really should have waited for me. The suitcase is very heavy."
Tartaglia's concern knew no bounds, and you nodded timidly, admitting defeat. Perhaps you really should have waited for the man in your apartment. Still, seeing how happy he was to help you made you furtively smile. You and Ajax went outside, and you were greeted by a pleasant and sunny weather. Even though your cheeks were biting from the frost, the clear blue sky and the freshness of the air made you smile.
It reminded you of the day when the two of you were getting ready to go on a business trip. Although at that moment you were more timid, because both of you didn't yet know that you were in love with each other. Now, everything seemed so magical to you, and you felt as if you and Childe were going on a romantic trip together. You blushed slightly at the thought, but you were distracted from your thoughts by the call of your lover, calling you by one of the nicknames he liked to call you.
"We'll stop by my apartment on the way, okay?" Ajax loaded your suitcase into the trunk, closed it, and headed to the driver's seat. You nodded, taking the passenger seat next to him. The man started the engine and the car drove out onto the road. "I need to pick up a few things for our Christmas."
Our Christmas… Coming from his lips, these words sounded so reverently, and you knew that he put a lot of meaning and feelings into it. You couldn't wait to spend this holiday with him, because you really wanted to share happy memories of Christmas with the person you loved more than anything in the world. And you knew that Ajax wanted the same.
"I'm glad that I can finally see my mother…" You said, breaking the short silence. Tartaglia paid his attention to you and, noticing how your brows furrowed, immediately put his hand on yours, trying to calm you down with gentle strokes. You smiled gratefully at him, continuing to speak. "I really missed her and Xiao for half a year."
"You know, when I think about how you live in Snezhnaya all alone, far from your family…" Feeling the tension in the ginger man's voice, you looked at his face, noticing his sad eyes. You really wanted to hug him and comfort him right now, but Childe was busy driving. So you squeezed his hand tighter in yours, letting him feel your support. "I'm getting scared, because if my father wins a court case, I'm sure he will definitely limit my ability to see my brothers and sister."
You knew that Ajax valued his family like no one else, and the thought of being apart from them terrified him. Your voice was trembling, but you still tried to calm your lover.
"Deep breath, Ajax. I'm sure we can get through this together." You, trying not to distract him from driving, gently stroked his cheek. You really wanted to kiss each of his freckles, but not now. Later. You will definitely do it later. The ginger man pressed his cheek to your hand a little closer, basking in the warmth of your skin. "And I'm not all alone in Snezhnaya, I have you."
"Thank you, angel."
Deciding to distract the man and yourself from sad thoughts, you changed the subject and began to tell him about what you wanted to show him in Morepesok. Your mood noticeably improved, and you both hoped that you would be able to forget about your problems at least for these Christmas holidays. Finally, the car drove up to the penthouse where Tartaglia's apartment was located, and you two hurried to head into the warm building.
The man left you in the kitchen, saying that he would quickly pack his things, and disappeared into his bedroom. Leaning on the countertop, you looked out the panoramic window, meeting the rising sun. This view seemed to you the most breathtaking, and you would like to freeze in this moment to observe the opening beauty of the city from a bird's eye view forever. A feeling of happiness, freedom and anticipation accompanied you every time you witnessed this view.
You took an apple from a small bowl and bit into a piece of the juicy fruit, the sour taste pleasantly spreading in your mouth. You really enjoyed visiting Childe's apartment because it was a very comfortable place. The pleasant colors chosen for the interior were pleasing to the eye and made you want to stay here at least a little longer. The window offered a beautiful view, and the furniture was inviting with its softness.
You were pulled out of your thoughts by the sounds of scurrying behind you — Tartaglia was looking for something in the kitchen cupboards. You decided to break the silence.
"I like your apartment." You said, enjoying a delicious apple. Well, you really should have a snack, since you hadn't had breakfast since you woke up. And right now, a ripe green apple seemed like a good escape from your growling stomach. "It's very comfortable here."
The fidgeting behind you suddenly stopped. Not paying attention to it, you continued talking about how relaxed you felt every time you were here with him, until you felt his strong arms wrap around your waist and press you against his chest. In mild surprise, you dropped the half-eaten apple from your hands, but before you could say anything, Ajax's soft whisper touched your ear.
"Do you want this apartment to be ours?" Your heart began to beat faster when you heard his words, and a feeling of excitement and a desperate need to be even closer to him spread inside you. "I think I'll go crazy if I don't see you every morning when I wake up and every night before I fall asleep."
You thought the same thing. Every morning when you woke up in your bedroom, you wanted nothing more than to wake up in Ajax's arms again. And to bask in his caresses before you drifted off to sleep. It was more than just a desire. It was a vital necessity, without which neither of you could function normally.
Childe buried his nose in your shoulder, and his ginger curls tickled the skin on your neck. He took a breath and asked his question again, "Would you like this?"
You gently pulled yourself out of his needy embrace and he let you turn around to face him, to look into his eyes. The way his usually empty and faded eyes sparkled when he looked at you could mean nothing other than that you were the only one who brought light back to Ajax's once-extinguished eyes. And you were ready to do it all the time. So, wrapping your arms around his neck, you smiled sweetly and whispered the next words into Tartaglia's very lips.
"I want this more than anything else in this world."
The kiss you two shared was tart and needy. The ginger man was very happy and grateful to you for agreeing to share this lonely apartment with him, which — he was sure — would be filled with coziness and comfort as soon as you stepped onto its territory as its rightful owner. Every time he returned here after his parents' another quarrels, he felt only pain and devastation. Could it be that today everything had finally changed, and every time he returned to your shared home now, he would feel happy? Ajax wanted to feel it as soon as possible.
Fueled by the feelings that were stirring his heart, Tartaglia completely forgot himself, pressing you to the tabletop, and his lips moved to your neck, tracing a small path of kisses. The feeling of excitement filled your insides, and you bit your lip, your fingers tangled in his ginger hair. The man's touches were so gentle that you thought you could lose your mind from the feeling of pleasure, but common sense reminded you that the two of you needed to hurry and continue your trip to Morepesok. Melting, you weakly grabbed the fabric of his hoody.
"A-Ajax, wait..." You begged reluctantly between heavy breaths. Childe seemed to not hear your request, enjoying the softness and scent of your skin. "We need to hurry if we want to get to Morepesok before it gets dark."
The man's lips immediately stopped kissing your neck, and you couldn't help but witness the cutest sight you had ever seen. He pouted, looking like a frustrated puppy thrown out for soiling master's curtains. The skin of his ears and neck turned red, letting you know that Tartaglia was embarrassed when the two of you had to interrupt such an exciting and intimate moment.
Sometimes the ginger man really hated the idea that time kept moving forward without the ability to stop for even a short period of time so that you two could give yourself completely to each other, not caring about what was happening around you. You smiled and kissed your lover on the cheek to encourage him.
Ajax smiled back at you and said, "Okay, baby, let's hurry up."
You basked in the comfortable leather seat, feeling the pleasant waves of warmth spreading through your body. Heated seats are really cool, you thought. Quiet music was playing in the car, and rare snowflakes were falling outside the window, while the Mercedes continued to drive forward rapidly along the snow-covered highway. The road ran between two dense patches of forest, covered with white snow glaze. A feeling of excitement and anticipation filled your chest as you fidgeted impatiently in your seat, eager to see your native lands. Meanwhile, your conversation continued.
"I think it's orange juice." After a short silence, Childe said, answering your question. He made a thoughtful face. "I like the sour taste that leaves a sweet aftertaste."
You nodded in agreement, humming. Sometimes the two of you played this little game to get to know each other better. One of you would ask a question in turn, and the other would answer. And now, so that the long trip wouldn't seem too exhausting, you and the ginger man decided to play this game again. Memorizing everything your lover liked, you made a note in your head about what you could please him with in the future.
"What kind of juice do you like?" His question was logically consistent, and you thoughtfully put your index finger to your lips. Ajax chuckled when, continuing to look ahead at the road, he noticed out of the corner of his eye how funny and cute your eyebrows were furrowed. Was that really a difficult question?
"I can't decide between apple juice and cherry juice... Both of these taste are very pleasant, and I like this sour aftertaste." You frowned when you voiced your thoughts. Indeed, sometimes it was so difficult to choose between two things, so you preferred to voice both options. Watching you, Tartaglia chuckled again.
"So funny."
You blushed slightly, but giggled too. "Now it's your turn to ask a question."
"Hm..." Childe pretended to be thoughtful to make you laugh — which he did quite easily — and then finally asked you. "What's your favorite movie genre?"
"Oh, it's simple!" You said contentedly, clapping your hands. "I love action movies!"
The ginger man raised an eyebrow with a smile, not at all surprised, "I think that's in your repertoire."
"And what about you?" You tilted your head questioningly, noticing how the sun was gradually starting to disappear behind the horizon and the air was getting colder, which was noticeable even in the fully warmed up car. Familiar landscapes and plains began to flash outside the window. You smiled happily when a welcoming stele with the inscription "Welcome to Morepesok" began to appear in the distance.
"You'll be surprised, but as a child, I really liked watching melodramas with my mother." Ajax chuckled when you raised your eyebrow in surprise. "Every time she turned on the TV, I would sit on her lap and watch each episode of the next romantic-tearful series with interest." He switched a few buttons on the gearbox, continuing to talk, "I know, I know, it's not my style. But I liked it."
"I think it's very cute." You said and placed your hand on Ajax's hand, smiling. Tartaglia smiled back at you.
The rest of the trip was spent in pacified conversations, quiet laughter and sweet teasing. When the car finally pulled into the town, you looked out the window with excitement, trying to find out what could have changed here while you were gone. To your surprise, everything was mostly the same, except that now the ground was covered in white cold snow, unlike when you left for Snezhnaya. An unexpected melancholy filled your heart.
The outline of your house, visible in the distance, brought back many memories, and it seemed to you that, looking out the car window, you were watching a movie about your childhood, when with each glance here and there, dear moments and memories appeared in your head. Childe watched you with a smile — he was really interested in seeing the town where you were born, but most of all, he liked seeing you smiling happily.
"Aren't you tired?" You asked the man when the two of you finally got out of the car in front of your house. You were worried because he only took a break from driving once, when you two stopped at a roadside cafe to get a bite to eat. "We can go straight to rest if you want. I think mom won't mind if I introduce you to each other tomorrow."
"It's okay, princess. I'm not tired." The ginger man quickly reassured you and, thanking you for your concern, left a small kiss on your cheek.
Some doubt and worry still remained in your chest, but you nodded and smiled. The two of you had plenty of time to rest. You took your lover's hand and led him after you, towards the house.
"I can't wait to surprise mom and Xiao. I didn't tell them when I was coming, so I'm sure they'll be very happy and surprised." You giggled. "Especially Xiao."
"I think your brother doesn't like me..." The man's unexpected words made you stop halfway to the house, and you looked at his face with worry. Ajax looked confused and timid, this sight was truly rare.
"Why do you think that?"
"Well, hm..." The ginger man hesitated slightly under your gaze and ran his hand through his hair. It was awkward, but he still answered you. "I think I didn't make the best impression on him. He was so sullen when he looked at me the last time we met… Hey, why are you laughing?.."
The embarrassment on the man's face made you continue to laugh, and through the tears of laughter you replied, "Come on! Xiao is always like this." And more tenderly you continued, "I know that he's truly grateful to you for helping us with that situation at the Academy. He just needs to get to know you better, and I'm sure he will be able to see in you what I see."
Tartaglia's heart began to beat faster at your words, so he gently grabbed your frozen hand and kissed the back of your hand, warming you with his hot breath.
"Thank you, angel."
The cold wind continued to blow mercilessly on your bodies, so you and Childe unanimously decided to finally quickly enter the warm house. You held his hand, pulling him along with you closer to the entrance of the house. The man allowed you to lead him with a smile. The wooden door of the house was almost within your reach.
"You'll see, you two will get along quickl..." Holding Ajax's hand, you were about to open the door, but your sentence was left unfinished when the door suddenly opened, and you came face to face with the man. Your eyes instantly widened when you met his bright green eyes. His blond hair casually fell over his face. The man's eyes also opened wide when he saw you. And a moment later, both of you joyfully exclaimed.
"Y/n!" A joyful smile appeared on the blond man's face.
"Thoma!" You looked at the green-eyed man excitedly, and you felt like you were back in your childhood. There were so many thoughts and questions you wanted to ask him, and you couldn't focus on one thing. "What brought you here? You finally came back from college?"
Ajax, standing next to you, felt an unpleasant feeling start to appear somewhere deep in his chest. His blue eyes were carefully watching the man you were talking to.
"I came to see your mother and Xiao, I brought them some of my mom's signature buns!" Thoma raised his right hand, in which he held an empty wicker basket. He smiled. "Your mother said that you went to live and work in Snezhnaya, so I didn't expect to see you here. But now that I've met you, I can confidently say that this day has become much better."
"I'm happy about this meeting too, Thoma! And I have much to tell you! But first..." You turned to your hitherto silent lover, and smiled when Childe caught your gaze and smiled back. "Allow me to introduce you Ajax, my lover."
Your lover. A proud smile appeared on Tartaglia's lips as he looked dispassionately into the other man's eyes. Their gazes met, like two predators ready to pounce on each other in the heat of battle. The green-eyed man, as if mocking Childe, raised an eyebrow derisively. Irritation bubbled in the ginger man's chest, but for your sake he tried to calm his displeasure and smiled at the stranger as amiably as he could in this situation.
"Ajax, this is my childhood friend Thoma." You pointed to the blond, who also smiled and extended his hand to the ginger man in a welcoming gesture for a handshake.
Childe reluctantly extended his hand in return, and the men, hiding their mutual irritation, shook hands, causing a smile to appear on your face. As soon as the handshake stopped, Ajax hurried to put his arm around your waist, and said to Thoma in a sickeningly sweet voice.
"I'm glad to meet you." Tartaglia's blue eyes were filled with a storm hurricane as he looked at your friend.
"Me too." And both men knew they were lying.
"Let's not stand in the cold! Let's go inside, and you can tell us everything, Thoma." You seemed oblivious to the oppressive atmosphere hanging over the two men like thundercloud, so your mood was upbeat, and it seemed you were genuinely glad to meet an old friend. So, despite his irritation, Ajax smiled, glad that you were happy.
"Sure, Y/n! Let's not stand on the threshold of the house." Thoma agreed and moved away from the door, letting you and your lover into the warm house.
"Ladies first, princess." Tartaglia gallantly let you go ahead, smiling at you, and after you entered the warmth of the house, his blue eyes sparkled unkindly when he noticed the way Thoma looked after you. Childe grinned, showing his self-confidence with his whole appearance. He could handle this. There were no other options. This should have been ridiculously easy.
It was annoying as hell. And not easy at all. Especially when Childe wasn't the man who made you laugh and smile with the smile that was currently shining on your face. The ringing trill of your laughter filled the modest living room of your house, when Thoma told you another funny story from his college life. And Ajax couldn't help but hold you tightly to his body, sitting next to you on the couch. Your back rested on his chest, and at least this fact gave him a sense of some calm. The ginger man felt out of place in the company of two people who were old friends. He had no opportunity to maintain a conversation, as well as no opportunity to draw your attention to himself again. This is the only thing he wanted right now.
But in some way, the fact that he remained on the sidelines gave him some advantage. He could calmly study the blond man sitting in front of you two. Childe's blue eyes were carefully watching every movement, every facial expression on Thoma's face, and the ginger man admitted with irritation that Thoma could compete with him in beauty. Ajax could clearly see what feelings and emotions were splashing in the green eyes in front of him when the blond looked at you. And this could mean nothing other than that Thoma has crush on you. But you seemed not to notice it at all, mistaking his romantic signs of attention for friendly communication.
"It's in your repertoire!" You said through laughter when the blond finished his story. Thoma's eyes shone when he was able to witness your positive reaction. But Childe could clearly see how irritation filled Thoma's green eyes when he saw how you pressed yourself closer to Ajax. A triumphant smile couldn't help but appear on Tartaglia's face.
"Was there something in Snezhnaya that you liked the most?" The green-eyed man asked, making you think. But your answer didn't take long to come.
"You should definitely visit the amusement park, it's really great!" You spoke enthusiastically, and the ginger man was very glad that the situation with the amusement park in the past no longer bothered you. After all, you remembered this place with a smile. "The view of the city from the ferris wheel is worth it!"
"Sorry for the wait." Your mother came out of the kitchen, carrying a tray with cups filled with flavored tea and sweet buns baked by Thoma's mother. She put the tray on the table and looked with interest in her eyes at the ginger man hugging your waist. You caught her excited look, realizing that you couldn't avoid questions. Your cheeks took on a red tint, foreshadowing an embarrassing conversation.
The woman sat down on the couch next to Xiao, who had been silent until now and was reading a book, half-listening to your conversations. Your mother smiled kindly and spoke.
"Well, my dear, it seems the time has come to tell me about the ginger young man who came to see you," She made air quotes with her fingers. "Just to pick up some documents."
"Mom!" You exclaimed embarrassedly, glancing at your lover out of the corner of your eye. His eyebrow arched teasingly, and his lips spread into a smug smile — damn, he found a new, wonderful excuse to tease you later.
The woman giggled and spoke to Childe, "Mister Tartaglia, forgive these humble treats. If I had known you were coming, I would have tried to cook something more hearty."
"Just call me Ajax, ma'am." You rolled your eyes as Tartaglia turned on his signature charm, but you couldn't deny the fact that you were one of the many who were swayed by his charm with one hundred percent success. You blushed. "Don't worry about it, Y/n and I had a big lunch on the way here."
"Okay, Ajax." Your mother nodded and smiled brightly as Xiao and Thoma reached for the buns from a tray, and you took two cups of tea, handing one to your lover. The pleasant, warm liquid went down your throat and warmed your body, which had grown cold during the trip. "What do you do?"
"I'm the owner of the company your daughter works for." A smug smile appeared on Childe's lips when he caught Thoma's scrutinizing look. Ajax's blue eyes were filled with pride, screaming loudly: can you reach my level? The green-eyed man looked back at him impassively.
Your mother didn't seem surprised by the ginger man's answer at all.
"Xiao told me that you helped him a lot with his entrance exams to the Academy." The woman turned her attention to her son and stroked his head. Your brother only snorted in embarrassment, trying to pretend that he wasn't interested in the conversation, although you saw that he was listening to your conversation, distracted from reading a book. "Please accept my sincere gratitude."
"No need to thank." Ajax said and when his gaze stopped on you again, his voice was filled with seriousness. "I consider it my duty to help those I love and whom I allowed to penetrate deep into my heart. I couldn't leave my lover's brother alone with this trouble."
Your breathing has become faster and your heart beat several times faster when the words of your lover reached your ears. An exciting thought echoed somewhere deep inside your mind. Was he already in love then? Instantly, your only desire was to hug Tartaglia tighter and stay in his arms forever. And at that very moment, you felt his hand press your body tighter to his. Sometimes it seemed to you that he understood you on some other level, known only to the two of you. As you understood him.
"Well, I think you're very lucky to have Ajax, my dear." The woman smiled caringly. You nodded, unable to say anything, because you were in a sweet daze from how much you loved Childe.
All of you still talked for a long time about everything that you hadn't been able to talk about on the phone, and this evening was filled with pleasant conversations and sweet tea with delicious buns. As the conversation continued, you and Tartaglia began to notice that you both felt very tired, so it was jointly decided to continue the conversation tomorrow.
You covered your mouth with your hand and yawned widely, waiting while Thoma put on his outerwear.
"Then see you later?" Finishing buttoning his winter coat, the blond asked with a smile.
"Sure, I was planning on walking around the town with Ajax, we'd be happy if you joined us." You nodded.
"That would be great." Thoma chuckled, losing some of his enthusiasm.
"Tell your mom I said hi!" He smiled at you and nodded.
When the entrance door finally closed behind the green-eyed man, you felt strong arms wrap around your waist, pulling you closer to hard chest. Tartaglia laid his head on your shoulder, asking in a hoarse voice.
"Why did you lie to him, angel? We both know I won't be happy with his presence." A shiver ran through your body as his breath touched your skin. You tried to hide your excitement by frowning, but Ajax knew very well the effect his actions had on you. "It's not good to lie."
"You're acting like a child." Ignoring his words, you snorted.
"Come on, baby, you should feel sorry for me." The man whined. "I'm so tired, and then there's this guy... I'm upset, you know."
You raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "I remember someone telling me that he wasn't tired at all."
"Just give me my well-deserved hugs, please." He looked absolutely adorable, so you couldn't tease him for long and agreed, taking his hand.
"Okay, let's go to my room." You led him to the second floor of your house.
When you opened the door of your childhood bedroom, memories came flooding back. Everything was exactly the same as it was the last time you saw your room. The bed, standing against the wall, was made up with your favorite bedspread. Stacks of books were here and there, and because of this, your room looked more like a library than a bedroom. Plush toys were waiting for you in the same place where you once left it. The curtains were tightly drawn, so you hurried to turn on the night light. Small bright stars danced on the ceiling.
"Okay, come he..." You didn't have time to finish your sentence, because Ajax suddenly grabbed you by the waist and pulled you along with him onto your soft bed, not forgetting to slam the front door of the room before that.
The ginger man buried his nose in your belly and, pressing you closer to himself, curled up on your bed. A sigh of surprise escaped your lips when you felt Tartaglia's hot breath through the fabric of your clothes. He allowed himself to slide his hands slightly under your clothes. After a few moments, your breathing finally calmed down, and you felt the long-awaited relaxation. You were surprised at how assertive your lover was — today he was unusually clingy. However, you didn't mind, measuredly running your fingers through his ginger curls, listening to his purring sounds and looking at the stars dancing on the ceiling. You both deserved a good rest.

**Shoutout to @VaneMando15 for listening and bouncing ideas from me, and for her guidance with being a Latina herself. Without her, this wouldn’t even be a thing, just another line on my WIP spreadsheet. And also to my husband, who is also Latino and answered any questions I had (along with taking me to Colombia back in 2014). And to @wyn-n-tonic, who listened to my rambles and insecurities about writing an oc in first person.

<<Part 2<<
He's coming back. Chucho is bringing Javier back after 6 years. What do I say? How do I tell him he has a son who is already 6 years old? Will he even remember me? Will he want to be a part of mine and Alex's life or will he turn and run?
My mind spirals as I finish drying the last few pans before putting them away. I head upstairs, my brain going through a million different scenarios before I take a quick glance in the mirror. I smooth down my hair and put on a new outfit, a simple summer dress that goes down to my knees, and end up randomly tidying and cleaning the house, never settling on one spot.
I knew this day would come. I guess I just never thought about it specifically. 6 years ago, I was so sure of my choice not to tell him, that I wouldn't want him distracted in Colombia but I wouldn't want him to come home and resent us for forcing his choice. But a part of me, ok a large part of me, feels guilty for not giving him the choice.
I hear Chucho's truck pull up outside and my heart starts beating faster. The truck doors slam and muted voices make their way to the front door. I pick up the book on the counter in front of me and open it, my eyes not taking in a word but I didn't want to look like I was waiting around for them. For him.
"...'m fine. You don't have to b-baby me."
"I'm just trying to make sure you don't vomit on the clean floors."
He's drunk. I can tell by the way his words are slurred, his feet thunking across the wood floors in a sporadic pattern. Before I can move, he stumbles through the kitchen doorway, his eyes taking a few moments to focus on me.
"Who are you?"
My hearts sinks a little. I would've been surprised if he remembered me, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt.
"Vanessa."
He steps closer to me, his eyes scanning my body before settling on mine.
"Are you fucking my dad?"
"Uh, no. I-"
"Ok, Javi. Time for bed. Vanessa will be here later for you to question," Chucho claps his hands on Javier's shoulders and guides him towards the doorway.
"Ok, ok. I have more questions later, Vanessssssa."
I give him a little wave as he disappears through the doorway. Chucho struggles to get him up the stairs, but eventually the sounds of them arguing disappear and I'm left alone for the moment. I turn around, gripping the counter with both of my hands and take several deep breaths.
He doesn't remember me. Or maybe it's because he's drunk? How do I handle it now?
His eyes, though filled with the drink, held a lot of anger and regret. He's hurting. I can't imagine what he's seen or had to do in persuit of Escobar. Chucho walks back in, breaking me from my thoughts.
"Sorry about him. He doesn't usually get drunk like that."
I wave my hand. "It's fine. I imagine he's been through a lot."
"Still, it's not an excuse to act like an asshole...he's going to be out for a bit but I'm thinking hamburgers for dinner? Something greasy to help that hangover he's going to have."
"Sounds good."
Chucho studies me for a moment. "How are you?"
That's a good question. "I...I'm not entirely sure."
"You need to tell him."
I nod. "Of course. But I can't tell him when he's drunk."
He chuckles. "No, I suppose not. But soon, ok?"
I give him a small smile before moving to get out the ingredients to bake some hamburger buns. Chucho moves to the living room, the tv turning on a moment later. He flips the channel and the news report echoes through the doorway to me.
"Breaking news! Pablo Escobar has just been killed. This is live footage of the rooftop where he was killed by DEA agent Steve Murphy..."
I step into the living room, watching the live broadcast of the rooftops where the outline of a dead man lays splaid on the tiles, other men in tach vests surrounding him. A blonde man high fives someone as the news anchor continues their report. But then it dawns on me.
Javier is not there, finally catching Escobar after 6 years of chasing him. He's here. No wonder he's drunk. What happened?
"Why is Javier here, Chucho?"
He's quiet a moment. "I don't know."
I return to the kitchen, mixing the dough before forming the buns. I can't imagine working for 6 years trying to catch one of the most elusive men, only to be forced away at the very end, not even being allowed to be there for his capture. I'd lose my mind too. I know I need to tell him about Alex, but I also need to give him a moment with this.
But how long of a moment?
-------
It takes 3 days for Javier to come out of a drunken stupor. I hear his bedroom door open as he stumbles down the hall with a groan, the bathroom door closing behind him. I hear a slam from the bathroom, sounding like the toilet lid. I wipe my hands on my apron and head upstairs, hesitating for a moment outside of the bathroom door. I knock very gently.
"Javier? Are you alright?"
A grunt followed by another violent heaving sound answers me. I turn the handle, slowly pushing the door open as the heaving subsides. Javier slumps against the side of the bathtub, his hand moving around to find the handle to flush the toilet. His hair is rumpled, his eyes mostly closed, clad only in a pair of sweatpants. I walk over to the toilet and close the lid, flushing the toilet for him. His hand drops to his lap and he takes a couple of deep breaths.
"Thanks."
"Of course. Do you want help up?"
He cracks his eyes open and looks at me. "You're not my dad."
"That I am not."
He lifts his head, opening his eyes a little more before hissing and closing them, squeezing the bridge of his nose. "The fucking light is going to kill me."
"Well I can't do anything about the light coming in this window. But let's get you back to your room in bed. You'll feel better."
I wait a few moments while he gathers himself, extending my hand to help him up. He squints at me and I roll my eyes.
"Just take my hand. I'm stronger than I look."
He takes it and I have to hold back a gasp as his large hands engulf my small ones, the warmth from the contact sparking all sorts of thoughts and memories. I pull him to his feet and he leans on me as I help him back to his room, pulling back the sheets as he slides in. I pull all of his curtains firmly shut, only using the light from the hallway to see around. Javier settles into bed, groaning a little as he puts his hand on his stomach.
"I'll bring you some water and pain meds."
"Oh you don't have-"
"That wasn't a question."
I head back downstairs, getting a glass of water. I stop by the bathroom again, opening the medicine cabinet and getting out some pain meds. I also pull out the bottle of activated charcoal tablets that Chucho handed me shortly after Javier came home. He said they suck to choke down but they'd really help the hangover. I carry everything to his room, shaking out the right amount of charcoal tablets. Javier sits up with another groan, taking the pills and the glass of water.
"This isn't aspirin."
"No. It's activated charcoal. Chucho said it will really help your hangover. You can't take it with any meds though as it'll just absorb those."
"I'll just take the aspirin."
"I really think you need to take the charcoal."
He looks up at me. "I don't even know who you are why the fuck would I listen to you?"
"Because I just carried your stubborn self all the way from the bathroom after you puked your guts out. I'm just trying to help. Take the damn pills."
He studies me through squinted eyes. "Yes ma'am." He chokes down the pills and makes a disgusted face before drinking several sips of water. "Those taste terrible."
"I never claimed they tasted good. So let those do their work and get some rest. When you're ready, come downstairs and I'll make you something to eat."
He looks at me again, his eyebrows slightly furrowed together in concentration. "No really, who are you?"
"Vanessa. Now get some rest."
He lays back and I pull the blanket up, giving him a small smile when I catch him looking at me. I leave the room and head back downstairs, finishing up some of the lesson planning I was doing for the upcoming semester.
A few hours later, Javier comes downstairs, this time with a shirt. Although he only has the bottom 3 buttons done up. I'm not sure why he even bothered with a shirt. Not that I'm complaining. He stands there awkwardly, like he doesn't know what to do.
"Feeling better?" I ask, turning to face him from my stool at the kitchen island.
"Yeah. Those charcoal things worked really well."
"Good. I've never been hungover so I wasn't sure, but I figured Chucho knew what he was talking about. Are you hungry?"
"I uh...I'm not sure," his hand goes to his stomach, his face souring slightly.
I head over to the slow cooker on the counter. "I made some chicken noodle soup. If anything, you can sip on the broth?" I look over at him, his head cocked to the side, watching me.
"Javier?"
"What? Oh soup. Yeah. Sure."
I ladle him a bowl and grab some saltines and set them on a little plate next to his bowl and set it in front of him. I also set down a glass filled with cloudy looking water.
"Coconut water?" Javier asks skeptically.
I shrug. "My mom always gave it to me during and after a cold. Said it gave me back nutrients. I figure alcohol probably takes a fair amount of nutrients from you. So it should help."
"Hhmm. Guess we'll find out." He takes a tentative sip from the cup, licking his lips a little after. "Hey that's sitting alright."
I give him a small smile. "Good."
Before I can move, he grabs my arm and gives it a little squeeze, sending jolts of electricity through me. "Thank you."
"Y-you're welcome."
I sit and pull my planner and books to me, resuming my task of lesson planning. I can feel his eyes on me, like he's studying me. I wish he would find something else more interesting.
"What are you doing?"
I don't look up. "Lesson planning for this upcoming semester."
He takes a slurp of his soup and swallows it. "Teacher? Holy shit this soup is amazing."
I look up at him as he takes another bite, his eyes closing for a moment as he savors the soup.
"Yeah. I'm teaching 2nd grade this year."
"Sounds fun. Seriously, what did you do to this soup?"
"My mom taught me how to cook," My eyes sting and my heart hurts thinking of those memories.
"Well, she did a damn good job."
"Sometimes she got it right."
He looks up at me. "Oh. I'm sorry I touched a nerve."
I wave my hand. "It's ok. I've come to terms with it."
He sets his spoon down, all of his focus on me. His gaze is intense, that little furrow between his brow is back. "You look-"
"Good you're awake, puto. Put some pants on and come help me." Chucho walks in the back door, stomping his boots on the mat outside before stepping in.
"I don't know if I-"
"Come on, son. No more babying I gave you time. Now I need your young bones."
"You sound like a bruja." (witch). But Javier pushes back from the island and starts to grab his plate.
"Don't worry about it, I got it." I stand, leaning over to take the bowl and plate, noticing that he'd eaten all of it. "I have more if you want some."
His dark eyes bore into mine, fanning a flame inside of me. "I want whatever you give me, Vanessa."
SMACK! Chucho slaps Javier on the back of his head.
"What the fuck?"
"Stop flirting and come help me before these chickens run halfway to Mexico."
-------
Chucho and Javier are gone for a few more hours and return just as the sun is setting. I hang up the phone, having had my nightly call with Alex, who is having a blast at science camp. The men kick off their work boots and coats, trudging upstairs to shower.
"Dinner will be ready soon so don't take long!" I yell after them.
Chucho devours the steak I'd made him while Javier opts to have another couple bowls of soup. Before long, Chucho leans back, slapping his stomach.
"Well, I am tired. Gonna get an early sleep. Vanessa? Delicious, as usual. Night, everyone."
"Good night, Chucho."
While he heads upstairs, I start to clean up, Javier immediately moving to help me. I shake my head.
"Nope. I got this."
"I can help."
"Really, it's ok."
"Are you always this stubborn?
"Are you?"
He looks at me before he smirks, but then it's gone just as fast. Man am I fucked.
"I can dry?"
"I appreciate the offer, but really. I'm ok."
"Does washing the dishes relax you or something?"
I know he said it in jest, but now that I think about it, it kind of does. The warm, soapy water calms me down. Gives me space to think.
"Yeah sort of."
He puts his hands up. "Say no more. I don't want to intrude." Did he just wink at me? Javier heads from the kitchen and I hear the front door open, the screen door slapping closed behind him.
After I'm done with the dishes, I dry my hands, thinking. I grab another glass of coconut water and head towards the front door, hesitating for several moments before pushing open the screen. Javier sits on the swing bench, facing out to look over the front half of the farm, a cigarette lit and in between his fingers. He takes a long drag, his lips rounding to blow out the smoke.
"I thought you should hydrate again." I hold up the glass and he turns to look at me, his eyes coming back into focus. He beckons me to him and I walk up, handing him the glass.
"That's a nasty habit, you know," I nod towards the cigarette in his hand.
He shrugs. "You have your relaxing activity, and I have mine." Still, he leans forward and puts it out on the tray he'd set on the arm of the bench. "Come. Sit."
I take a breath and sit, our thighs nearly touching. The air feels electrified, like it's waiting for something to happen. We sit like this for a while, staring out at the cows grazing in the front fields, Javier lightly rocking the swing as he rolls his foot back and forth.
"Thank you for...everything. Taking care of me and..everything." He turns his head to look at me in the light coming in through the windows from the house.
"It's not a problem. Anyone would do it."
He snorts. "Not for me."
"And why not?"
He pauses a moment. "I'm not a good guy."
"Well I know that's not true. You're a great man, Javier." I place my hand on his forearm without thinking, and squeeze. He looks down at where I touch him, placing his hand over mine before looking at me.
"I'm really not. I just..." He trails off, his eyes sweeping over my face. "You...you look familiar. It's been killing me for days."
Well. Now is the time. For this confession, at least.
"That's because we know each other."
His brow furrows slightly. "I had a feeling. From where?"
It still hurts a little that he doesn't remember, even though I know it's a trauma response. Memory loss and PTSD can often go hand in hand.
"You...you gave me a rose, once."
Recognition immediately ripples over his face, his eyes widening, his eyebrows raising a little as he shifts his body to face me.
"Vanessa? From the bar? Right before I left for Colombia?"
I smile nervously. "That's me."
"Summer of new things Vanessa?"
I nod. "Yup. Me."
His eyes are twinkling now, a small smile creeping up his face. "Holy shit! I never thought I'd see you again. It was so hard to walk away from you that morning. The only thing that did it was the fact that the DEA would come down on me hard for missing that flight." His eyes soften the longer he looks in mine and for a moment, we're both transported back to that night, the night he opened up my world.
"H-how are you?" He's hesitant, but his eyes are wide and curious.
"Not bad."
"How did you end up here? I thought you were going back to-" he waves his hand around trying to think. "Austin?"
"Corpus Christi."
He snaps his fingers. "That was it."
Do I tell him about Alex? About being a father? Something inside me tells me to wait. To only surprise Javier with one thing at a time. He's been through so much and the last thing I want to do is pile more on top of that.
"It's a long story but I...got pregnant and my parents..well, they didn't approve. Out of wedlock. Anyway, they kicked me out and I uh, ended up here. Chucho I guess took pity on me and gave me a place to stay. I offered to cook and clean for him which of course he argued against, but," I shrug. "And so I stayed. He demanded I return to college and get my teaching degree I had been working on and he babysat Alex while I did. I owe him so much. My life, basically. I don't know how I'll be able to repay him."
His eyes grew serious. "You're parents kicked you out pregnant?"
I nod. "Yeah."
"That's fucked. Sorry, but it is."
I shrug. "They were the kind of parents that would scrub my mouth out with soap and make me repeat scripture if I had nail polish on so I guess I'm not surprised. I've made peace with it."
"Still. I'm sorry that happened to you."
"Thanks."
We sit in silence for another few moments, one weight on my chest lifted but a very heavy one still remaining.
"The dad didn't help?"
Here's your chance, Vanessa. You can tell him now, despite everything. Tell him. TELL. HIM.
"He...He had other things to do."
Javier scoffs. "What an asshole."
I shake my head vehemently. "No, it's not..they were very important."
"More important than knocking up a young woman?"
"I think so."
"I'm sure."
I turn to face him more directly. "What if it was yo-"
RING RING! RING RING!
The phone cuts through our conversation, forcing an ending that I wasn't ready for. Javier attempts to stand but I put my hand out.
"It might be Alex. I've got it."
I feel his eyes on me as I go inside, answering the phone quickly. It wasn't Alex but some automated political message and I grunt, hanging up the phone in frustration. I should go back outside and explain everything to him, confess it all, but I don't. I do peak my head back outside and call his name, momentarily flustered when he looks at me.
"It was some political something."
"I fucking hate those."
"I'm going upstairs. Drink that coconut water." I point to the untouched glass in his hand and he holds it up towards me.
"Yes, ma'am."

summary: the req
warnings: panic attack, crying n shizzle
author’s note: I wish I had a man do this for me bro, only person I got doing this for me is my mom whenever I panic in school😔✊
The soft glow of the setting sun streamed through the window as you sat curled up on the couch, an array of thoughts racing through your mind.
It had been a long day, filled with the pressures of life and an overwhelming sense of anxiety that crept in like a thief. You could feel your heart racing, each beat echoing in your ears.
It was as if the walls were closing in, and no matter how hard you tried to breathe deeply, the panic tightened its grip on you.
You had just started to feel the familiar signs of a panic attack when you heard the front door open. Kenan’s voice carried through the house, bright and cheerful as he announced his arrival. “Hey, babe! I’m home!”
His voice was a comfort, but you struggled to respond. Instead, you remained seated, your hands trembling slightly as you focused on your breathing, trying to rein in the rising tide of panic.
Kenan stepped into the living room, the warmth of his presence filling the space. He quickly noticed something was off.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” His tone shifted, concern lacing his words as he approached you.
You looked up, trying to muster a smile, but all that came out was a shaky breath. “I… I don’t know,” you stammered, your heart racing even faster at the vulnerability of the moment.
He knelt beside you, reaching out to gently take your hands in his. “Look at me,” he said softly, his gaze steady and reassuring.
“Just breathe with me. In and out.” He inhaled deeply, holding your gaze, and you felt your breathing start to sync with his.
As you followed his lead, he kept talking, his voice calm and soothing. “You’re okay. I’m here. Just focus on my voice, alright? Nothing else matters right now.” His fingers squeezed yours gently, grounding you.
You nodded, tears brimming in your eyes as you concentrated on him. Kenan shifted closer, his presence a comforting weight beside you.
“You’re safe with me,” he murmured, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. “Let’s take it slow. In for four… hold for four… and out for four.”
Together, you breathed, the rhythm of your breaths becoming a soft melody that drowned out the chaos in your mind.
Kenan’s unwavering focus on you made the world outside fade away. As the panic began to subside, you leaned into him, seeking comfort in his warmth.
“Good,” he praised, a small smile breaking through his concern. “You’re doing great.”
After a few more breaths, the storm inside you started to calm, and you found solace in his presence. “I’m so sorry, Kenan,” you whispered, your voice shaky but more stable than before. “I didn’t mean to-”
“Shh, don’t apologize,” he interrupted gently, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close. “We all have tough days. I’m just glad I’m here with you.”
He pressed a soft kiss to your forehead, and you felt a wave of warmth wash over you, a sense of safety enveloping you like a comforting blanket.
You melted into his embrace, letting the love you felt for him chase away the remnants of fear.
As you settled against him, he continued to whisper sweet nothings, words of encouragement that helped ease your racing heart.
“You’re so strong, you know that? I admire you so much,” he murmured, brushing his fingers gently up and down your back.
“Thank you,” you breathed, feeling a mixture of relief and gratitude. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“I’m not going anywhere,” he assured you, tilting your chin up so you could meet his gaze. “I’m right here, and I’m not leaving your side.”
You smiled softly, feeling the panic dissolve completely under his care. Kenan leaned in, pressing his lips to yours in a gentle, tender kiss that lingered just long enough to remind you of how much he meant to you.
As you pulled away, you noticed the warmth in his eyes, a reflection of the love and support he offered. “Let’s take it easy tonight,” he suggested, brushing his thumb along your cheek.
“We can watch your favorite show or just cuddle together. Whatever you need.”
You nodded, feeling lighter as you clung to him, grateful for his unwavering support. “I’d like that,” you said, your voice steadying.
With a smile, he stood up, still holding your hand, and helped you to your feet. Together, you made your way to the couch, his presence steadying you as you settled in beside him.
You leaned into him, resting your head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his body against yours.
As the night unfolded, you found comfort in the little moments—the way Kenan laughed at your favorite scenes, how he would lean down to press kisses to your forehead every now and then, and the way he wrapped his arm around you protectively.
With him by your side, you felt safe, cherished, and ready to face whatever came next, knowing that together, you could handle anything.

i noticed a lack of kappa content too 🤨 if u r fine with writing kappa just hear me out on this (inspired by my c.ai convo with my own kappa bot)
kappa breaking into some random persons house just to steal but shes a bit of a night owl. he quietly walks to the living room and sees this adorable more than likely rich housewife (so yeah theres a tad bit of cheating.) anyways her husbands out for a few weeks for business and shes in her short satin nightgown, sat on the couch and watching tv. and then she sees the intruder and is like "AHH OMG WTF" (rightfully so coz bro BROKE IN) and hes like "my bad. didnt mean to startle you, doll." (coz hes flirtatious like dat) and he walks over and lifts her up, hand holding her neck tightly and he runs his fingers across her pearls, yanking on the necklace. the pearls dont fall ofc (coz real pearls have knots between each pearl to prevent them falling like that... my great grandma had a lot of jewelry and most were real pearls.) ANYWAYS BACK TO MY POINT !!! her husbands been gone for so long so shes getting a tad aroused and he notices coz he can feel the increase in her pulse and hes like "oh do you enjoy that?" and idk what else coz frankly my c.ai convo is very different from what i wrote
i had this exact same convo on c.ai omgg! i love ur requests sm u dont even understand

ps: i have an nsfw fic in my drafts that ive been meaning to get out that would go very well for a part 2 of this. yall should lmk if you wanna see it!
it was a dark and stormy night. Your husband was out of town for a while, which left you all alone in your giant mansion. even though you’d dreamed of living in a mansion since you were small, it got really lonely when there was nobody to share it with.
thunder and lightning bolted outside, making the entire house flicker with light for a fraction of a second. you were flipping through the tv channels, looking for something good to watch. the clock struck midnight, and at the same second, you heard glass in your house breaking.
you felt your heart stop for a moment. you look behind you, your body shaking with fear. all the windows behind you were intact, meaning that the noise came from something else. You tried reassuring yourself by assuming that the sound came from outside, when you felt a firm hand grab your chin.
you slowly turned your head to see the owner of the hand, and your blood ran cold. you screamed and tried to back up a little on the couch when you saw the weapon in his hand. He looks at you, a little smirk on his face. “sorry about that, sugar… i thought that you’d be asleep.” his voice was smooth like honey, making your heart beat a little faster. he started approaching you slowly.
he smiles, showing his teeth a little. “dont be scared, doll. If you're good for me, then i won't have to hurt you..” he’s standing right in front of you. your body is trembling with fear. that’s when he picked you up and threw you over his shoulder. he brought you to a red velvet armchair and seated you on his lap, his eyes travelling down your body in your skimpy little nightgown.
he brought a hand to your neck, looking at the pearl necklace around it. “my, my… isn’t this precious…” he tugged on the necklace, seeing if it would break. he looked into your eyes, which were still fear-filled. “tell me, sugar… do you live here all alone?” his voice turned to a sultry tone. you tried processing what he meant by that, but he wrapped his hand around your neck, making you shiver.
“n-no… i have a husband…” he hums disappointedly at this. “well i dont see him…” you brushed your hair out of your face. “yeah. he travels for work a lot…” he starts cradling you in his arms, lulling you into a sense of comfort. “it gets real lonely here…” you didnt know why you were opening up to him. maybe it was because you knew he could kill you if he wanted to.
his eyes wandered down to your body, fully soaking in the beauty of it in your dark red nightgown. “this is a beautiful little gown…” he said quietly. He carefully ran a hand down your curves, making your body heat up. It had been a while since you’d been touched like this. You hadnt noticed that you were so deprived.
you take a moment to look into his beautiful blue eyes. they look like two cold pieces of ice. but they were sharp like a blade. his hands moved down to your hips, just barely lifting up your nightgown. “a woman as beautiful as you has no right to be all alone…” you feel your body fillign with desire. You had never been so needy before, but you just felt yourself melting into his touch more and more.
“how about i show you a good time tonight, sugar? would you be up to that?” he whispered into your neck, starting to bite it softly. you started thinking about how wrong this was, remembering your promise to always stay loyal to the man you loved, but you decided to let this strange intruder to have his way with you for the night.

I Saw You In My Dreams
Pairing: The Corinthian x GN! Reader Genre: Romance, fluff, horror Warnings: mentions of violence, smut Rating: +18
You first met The Corinthian in a dream, and not long after that, in the real world…
You finished work and decided to take a walk in the nearby park in the beautiful spring weather. You spotted a bench, walked over and sat down. You were watching the families with small children, people walking their dogs and couples in love. You were a little envious of them, even though you couldn't complain about your own life either. You had a good job, nice friends, cozy apartment. Still, you felt that you were missing a special someone with whom you could share your everyday life.
It was night and you slowly fell asleep. Not long after, you found yourself in a dream where you were walking alone in a dark alley and only a flickering street light was on. You thought it was strange, since you were not used to such dreams, you felt that this was more of a nightmare. You were getting scared, but decided to walk on and started hearing voices. You turned at the corner and in the distance saw a man holding a knife and another man lying on the ground. It immediately became obvious to you what had happened and in fear you covered your mouth with your hand so that he wouldn't hear your scream. The man with the knife looked up and saw you, then stood up and started to approach you. You wanted to run away from him, but your legs didn't move, you just stood there as if you were frozen. Meanwhile, the man reached you and held the knife towards you.
"What did you see?" he asked with a frown. You couldn't see his eyes, because they were covered by dark sunglasses.
"Me? Uh…” his question came so suddenly that you couldn't find words.
"What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here!” said the man a little impatiently. At first you were really scared, but when you remembered that this was just a nightmare, your fear went away.
"This is my dream, what are you doing here? What did you do with that man?” you questioned him.
"That guy is a violent person who abused people, and I punished him for it. I'm a nightmare. A dark mirror that reflects what humanity does not dare to face.” he said and slowly lowered the knife. You no longer felt threatened, the guy in sunglasses no longer looked at you grumpily.
You weren't afraid of him anymore. You found him exciting and fascinating. You liked how he got revenge on the abuser.
"Aren't you afraid of me?" the nightmare asked you as if he could hear your thoughts.
"No, not at all. Do you only hurt bad people?”
"Yes, if they give me a reason for it. You don't seem like a bad person, which is why I'm surprised you're here." he said and put the knife away. "When I approached you, you didn't run away, even though others would have a long time ago. I like your courage.” he said appreciatively and a half smile appeared on his face. You smiled back at him as well, then you saw his face starting to fade. Your consciousness slowly returned and you woke up, the sun was starting to rise outside.
Cliché, but really, you've never had a dream/nightmare like this before. You also found the guy with the sunglasses and the knife to be charming and handsome rather than scary. A few minutes later, your alarm went off and your day had begun.
At work, you sat in front of your laptop and typed the report your boss asked for. After a while, you saw the nightmare guy in front of you. You replayed the way he approached you in your head. Your heart beat faster with every step he took. He stopped in front of you, you took the knife out of his hand and..
"Are you coming for coffee?" your fantasy was interrupted immediately. You looked up and saw your colleague at the door, with whom you usually gossip with during your lunch breaks.
"Um, yes, wait a minute, I just save this file." you answered in embarrassment. Good thing it wasn't your boss who opened the door, otherwise the nightmare would have gotten you into trouble. You smiled to yourself at that, then packed up and went to lunch.
After your lunch break, the enchanting man with a knife was in your head for the rest of your working hours. You hoped that if you thought about him a lot, you would dream about him again.
Fortunately, you were right.
At night, as soon as you laid your head on the pillow, you were already asleep. You found yourself at the location of your previous dream, but this time you didn't turn the corner, but continued on your way and stopped in front of the window of a clothing store. In the window was a long, elegant, cream-colored coat. You thought it would be a good idea to break the glass and just take the coat, since you can't get into trouble anyway. You found a stone on the ground and were about to break the glass with it.
"What are you up to?" a familiar voice said from behind you. You dropped the stone from your hand and turned around. It was the nightmare and he was grinning.
"Well..it's not what it seems!" you tried to explain yourself.
"It's a very nice coat, you have good taste. If you need it, just let me know and I'll get it for you." he said and walked over to the window, broke the glass with his elbow and fist, then took the coat off the mannequin. You were surprised his hand wasn't bleeding. He walked up to you and put it on you.
"It fits you well." he said kindly. You liked it too, the coat was comfortable and warm.
"Thank you. It's so beautiful, I wish I could take it back to reality!" you sighed heavily. He smiled but didn't answer.
You felt yourself slowly waking up. You looked at him and realized you didn't even know his name.
"I need to go soon. Thank you very much again, Mr…”
”The Corinthian. This is my name." he said and bowed politely like a gentleman. You also told him your name, and then you woke up to the cheerful music of your alarm clock.
You didn't dream about him for the next few days, which made you sad a little. One day, however, on your way to work, you seemed to have seen him - in front of a clothing store’s window. He was looking at the elegant clothes, just like you were looking at the coat in your dream.
You stopped and your heart skipped a beat. You were sure it was him. But how was that possible? How could he break out of your dream and get here, to reality? You had quite a few other questions in your head, but you didn't have much time to think, you had to go because work was waiting.
You were so busy during the day that you didn't have much time for yourself, let alone thinking about Corinthian.
In the evening, while taking a shower, you reassured yourself that you weren't crazy and weren't even hallucinating, you just longed for his company and your brain must have projected him onto a man that looked like him.
Yes. This is the only possible explanation.
You've had a busy and exhausting week and you and your friends decided to go party. You did your hair and put on your hottest outfit, then looked at yourself in the mirror with satisfaction. Everybody's going to want you tonight.
"One more round of tequila for everyone!" your best friend tried to shout over the loud music in the club. You had already had a few drinks and were no longer thirsty, but you felt like you could do a few more shots. The waitress brought the drink to your table. You drank and then told your friends that you had to go to the bathroom. You washed your hands, tidied yourself up and looked in the mirror one more time on your way out. When you went back to your company, you saw a familiar face in the crowd. It wasn't hard to spot him, because not many people wear sunglasses in the club...
At first you thought you were out of your mind again. It's true that you were under the influence, but you didn't drink that much... This is no longer a hallucination. It couldn't be, because it was Corinthian, in full life size. You decided to go up to him.
"Hello again. I was about to ask, do you see anything at all behind those dark shades?” you asked laughing. He lifted his sunglasses by the stem.
"Oh, I can see better than you think." he replied with a laugh. "Um, would you like to have a drink with me?" he asked in a deep purring voice as he raised one eyebrow. Maybe it was the drink, maybe it was something else, but you felt the heat wash over your body.
"Yes of course!" you replied excitedly running a hand through your hair. Your friends were already wasted, so it was okay to have a little fun without them. You thought that you will have a drink or two with him, dance a bit, then go home.
You went to the bar.
"Hello, can I have a bottle of vodka, please?" Corinthian asked the bartender. Your eyes widened. You grabbed his shoulder and questioned him.
"What? A bottle? Wouldn’t two glasses be better?”
"No. A bottle. We're here to party, are we? he asked and already had the bottle in his hand. He drank from it and handed it to you.
"Here, drink some!"
You took the bottle from him and took a few sips.
"Thanks, I think that's enough for me, I've already had enough during the night." he giggled and took the bottle back from you and drank almost all of it.
This guy…is something else, you thought to yourself, in a good way of course. When the bottle was empty, he grabbed your hand and pulled you onto the dance floor.
“Come on, let's dance, I want to see what you got." he said and started moving to the rhythm.
"Believe me, you're not ready to see my dance moves!" you covered your face and laughed in embarrassment.
"Don't worry, I'm a terrible dancer too." he laughed out loud. You started dancing together, not caring what others might say about your funny dance moves. You looked at him and saw the lights of the club reflected on the lenses of his sunglasses. Later, during a slower song, you danced hugging each other. Your body was hot and the music throbbed loudly in your ears. You turned your back to Corinthian and felt his hands on your chest and his breath on your neck. You were in complete ecstasy, you felt as if you were dreaming the whole thing. His hands went lower and you moved your hips with him at the same time, doing a very provocative dance.
After the party, you went home to your apartment. While you hung your jacket on the hanger, Corinthian walked into the living room and looked around. You went after him, and suddenly he took out his phone and started playing the song ‘Ruby Sparks’ by Monét Ngo.
"I'd like you to dance with me." he said as he turned to you.
"But we just danced a lot in the club." you told him smiling.
"I know, but there were many people and now it's just the two of us. This is a sensual song and I want to dance with you as if we were the only ones in the world." he said and slowly wrapped his arms around your waist, you wrapped your arms around his neck. It really was like the world had stopped and it was just the two of you. You closed your eyes and buried your face in his neck, and you danced like that. You felt as if you were floating, flying in the sky, among the stars. You lingered a little in this fantasy, then opened your eyes and looked at him.
"I don't know if it's you or the song that has this effect on me, but I've never felt this before in my life. When I closed my eyes, I was flying and felt free.” Corinthian smiled.
"I'm glad to hear that. You know, other people are not this relaxed around me. In fact, they tend to be afraid of me." he said softly.
"Are you saying this because I saw what you did to that abuser? He deserved it!"
"That’s not what I mean. Look, you saw me there, because you were having a nightmare. But as I said earlier, you have nothing to be afraid of. I only hurt those who deserve it.” you gulped.
"I wanted to ask this. Since you are a nightmare, how is it possible that you are here, in the real world? When I saw you on the street, I thought I had lost my mind, but it really was you.” you looked at him with questioning eyes.
"Where I come from, I am one of the main dreams, better said, a nightmare, and I can go from one dream to another, and from a dream to the Waking World. So I can hurt those who deserve it not only in their dreams, but also in life...I could explain more, but that's the point. Feel free to ask if you want to know anything else." he said lightly. If your mind hadn't been clouded by alcohol, you would have definitely passed out. Instead, you took in everything Corinthian said with almost complete calmness. True, you had nothing to fear, because he himself said that he only hurt bad people.
You were moved by his honesty and wanted more. You looked deeply into the dark lenses of the sunglasses and your hand slid from his neck to his chest. Corinthian also looked at you and took your hand, then kissed it. He could feel that you trusted him now.
"Tell me what's on your mind?" he asked softly. You didn't say anything, you just slowly brought your lips to his and kissed him gently. He took this as encouragement and gently licked your bottom lip with his tongue. The small touch affected your whole body, you trembled from the feeling. You also carefully slid out your tongue and touched his, then you slowly, passionately kissed. You tilted your head to the right, then to the left, so that you had better access to him. Inexplicable, yet pleasant feelings swirled inside you. You've kissed many times in your life, but you've never experienced anything like this with anyone before.
You stopped and your consciousness returned somewhat. You gasped for air.
"Well this..was something completely different"
"Did it feel good?" he asked with a sexy smile, while his hands slid down and stopped a little above your butt.
"It was the best kiss of my life.” you answered slowly and quietly. As a result of the kiss, the alcohol almost left your head and a completely different state took its place, which you didn't mind at all.
"I have to go now. Thank you for the wonderful evening!" he said and placed a kiss on your cheek.
"When can I see you again?" you asked. It hurt you to think that he had to go.
"Soon, here, in the Waking World."
Since that night, you have met him several times and went dancing or walking in your favourite park. Every time you couldn't wait for Corinthian to kiss you, so that you could break away from the grey everyday life for a while. In addition to all of this, your feelings for him started to deepen, surprising even yourself. After all, how could you fall in love with someone who isn't even real? Falling in love with a nightmare? It really sounded crazy, but you followed your heart.
You and him decided to go to the beach to swim in the ocean. You went to an area where there weren't many people, so you could be alone.
You spread a blanket on the sand and both of you changed into bathing suits. It was all a good excuse to see Corinthian shirtless and honestly, you didn't have to be disappointed, he had a great body.
"Catch me if you can!" you told him teasingly and ran into the waves. He ran after you and caught you in the water.
"So we are playing chase, huh? Okay, you asked for it!” he said laughing and pulled you under the water with him and you quickly made it back to the surface. While your hair got wet, his stayed dry. You didn't ask him why this was, because you knew, although you envied him that he didn't have to bother with drying his hair.
"If your hair has remained so dry, I guess your body hasn't gotten wet either, even though you're here in the ocean." you noted to him.
"That's right. You don't even know how much it benefits you to be a nightmare." Corinthian joked and swam over to you and gave you a soft kiss.
You were swimming in a good mood and splashing the water on each other when an idea came to you.
"How about we continue swimming naked?" you bit your lip and raised one eyebrow.
"Someone is being naughty!" he looked around and took off his swim trunks, you undressed as well. You both threw your swimming wear on the shore and enjoyed the pleasant water on your now uncovered bodies.
"Come here." Corinthian pulled you closer and kissed you passionately. He reached down to your hand and took it, placing it on his cock. You moaned as you felt him being hard and it turned you on.
"See, you have such an effect on me." he said in a husky voice. "I want you so bad!" he kissed you so fiercely that you couldn't help gasping for breath afterwards.
You got out of the water, Corinthian dried your wet body a little with a towel, then threw it away and pulled you close again and kissed you. You slowly lowered yourself down and lay on the blanket with him on top. He kissed your neck, then moved lower and covered your chest with small kisses. He continued and when he passed your stomach, you felt a pleasant excitement because you knew what was coming. He stroked your thighs first with his hands and then with his lips, while you let out sensual moans. When he kissed you on your most private part, you arched your back and clutched at the blanket. Sometimes you felt his tongue, sometimes his lips down there on you, as he licked you all over or pleased you with the tip of his tongue. You moaned and took in ragged breaths. What you felt was even more intense than the first time you kissed him. You were close to orgasm when Corinthian stopped.
"Why did you stop?" you asked slightly annoyed that he had robbed you of your pleasure.
"Because I want you to cum, with me inside you." he said in a sultry voice. He leaned over you and kissed you. "Turn on your side."
You were so overcome by desire that you didn't think much, you immediately turned to your side. You couldn't wait for him to fuck you, but you looked around to see if there was anyone nearby who might see you. Luckily there wasn't. He lay behind you and lifted one of his legs to get closer to you and carefully inserted his hard cock into you. As you felt him entering you, you let out a loud moan. He wrapped one arm around your neck, gripped your hip with the other and started thrusting into you rhythmically, first slowly, then faster and faster. You were both breathing raggedly.
"Oh yes, oh my God!" you said between lustful moans and grabbed his arm around your neck.
"That's what you wanted, did you? It feels good, right?" he asked in his lustful, deep voice, and you only moaned in response. While Corinthian was thrusting, you glanced at the ocean and saw the waves moving just as intensely as he inside you. You extended your arm below you and rested your head on it, placing the other in front of you so that you could hold your body and keep up with his pace and rhythm.
You didn't care if he was human or not, you had never had such an erotic experience before. You were sober now, yet you felt the same levitation as when you first kissed. Corinthian continued to thrust into you tirelessly and you felt your climax close again.
"I feel that you are close. Come on, cum for me!” he said between moans. You didn't need much. You closed your eyes and felt the overwhelming pleasure taking over your body and you screamed from the orgasm. He didn't stop, he kept going on for a bit then he went after you towards climax.
A little later, you were lying, facing each other on the blanket and caressing each other's faces and shoulders. You felt so good with him and not only because you just had amazing sex. A few things have changed in you since you met Corinthian. For example, you learned that you don't have to be afraid of the unknown and that you don't have to worry about other people's opinions, the point is to give yourself everything that pleases you. You smiled as you thought about these.
"What is it?" he asked kindly. You didn't want to rush it, but you felt that now that you were here and got so intimate with each other, you could tell him how you felt about him.
"As a matter of fact, I want to tell you something. I know it's going to sound crazy, but I think...I fell in love with you. You're probably saying it's too early, but it's not. I really feel that way about you.”
Corinthian smoothed a lock of your hair and gulped.
"Look, I really feel that it's too early for you to say that, but at the same time, I'm very moved by it. Until now, people have only seen me as a nightmare, but believe me, I'm not that bad, only when the situation calls for it. I have to admit that I feel the same way about you. Although I have heard so many love confessions over the years, I feel that your words are sincere." he said. His confession overwhelmed you with emotions and a tear rolled down your face, which he wiped away with his thumb.
Your body was already dry and your hair wasn't so wet anymore. You both got dressed, but didn't rush home: you cuddled romantically and watched the sun go down.

Love Bites: Chapter 8
Series Masterlist
“I’m gonna do it.” Y/N told Tammy, as she walked into the dressing room. It was their first show in France and after her conversation with Joe, Y/N knew what she had to do.
“What are you doing?” Tammy looked up from her magazine at the pacing lead singer.
“I’m gonna break up with Doug.” Y/N stopped her pacing as she looked over at her best friend. Tammy immediately started smiling.
“When?”
“I don’t know. I don’t think I can do it over the phone so I will probably have to wait until we go back home.”
“But that’s months away.” Tammy pointed out, earning a sigh.
“I know. If I do it before then though, I can’t guarantee that he won’t throw my stuff out.”
“It’s a shame we don’t have a break before we go to America.” Tammy told her.
“There’s nothing that we can do about that. When the tour ends I’ll break up with him.”
“And when you do, my front door is open for you for as long as you need.” Tammy reassured her.
*
The shows in France went well. With every day that passed, Ultraviolet were settling into the tour life and enjoying every show. Joe and Y/N were still staying away from each other but it wasn’t as awkward as before. They would be polite to one another and engage in conversations, but as soon as the two were alone, one would leave the room.
Y/N didn’t know if she could trust herself around the Def Leppard frontman. Every day that she spent with the man, or even just in the same room as him, she found herself falling more and more for him. She was sure that everyone around her could tell but she couldn’t bring herself to care.
Until the tour ended and she broke up with Doug, she knew that she couldn’t do anything about her growing feelings. She just hoped that Joe would be willing to wait for her.
Little did she know, Joe was having similar thoughts about her. After he found her outside the hotel, he couldn't keep his mind off of her. He was pleased that she was finally going to break up with Doug but at the same time, that didn’t mean she would want to pursue anything with him. Yes they kissed but that didn’t mean that she would want to be with him.
Afterall, the woman would only have just gotten out of a serious relationship, an unhealthy one at that. Joe knew that he couldn’t date her when she was in such a fragile state, no matter how much he wanted her.
*
A week after they arrived in France, it was time for the two bands to travel to America. It was a nearly eleven hour flight and almost all the way throughout, Johnny wouldn’t shut up. Y/N could tell that all of Def Leppard, aside from Rick who was asleep, was getting annoyed along with Benji.
Y/N however, couldn’t bring herself to become agitated at the excited drummer, afterall, it was their first time to America and Y/N was feeling ecstatic as well, she just hid it better and kept all her excitement inside.
Joe sat opposite Y/N after Tammy and Sav had made him. The two lead singers assumed that it was their bassists’ idea of a joke and they didn’t bother to argue with them. Both of them spent the flight talking quietly, trying to drown out Johnny’s incessant talking. It felt like things were back to normal after their kiss. It was as if nothing had happened between them.
Johnny eventually wore himself out after five hours, much to everyone’s relief and the plane fell silent for a moment. Y/N decided that now would be a good time to talk to Joe seriously.
“Thank goodness he is finally asleep.” Y/N joked earning a hushed laugh from Joe.
“I wasn’t going to say anything so I am glad you did.” Joe told her, the dimple on his left cheek was more prominent than ever.
“I’m breaking up with Doug when we get home.” Y/N told Joe bluntly, earning a stunned look in response.
“You are?” Joe asked, happy that she was really going to do it.
“Yeah. You helped me realise that he isn’t who I should be with.”
Joe felt himself swallow at her words. He couldn’t help the way his heart started beating faster and he could only hope that she wasn’t able to notice.
“Well, I’m glad I could help.” Joe told her, his throat not used to the sudden dryness that had overcome it.
“Did you mean what you said the other day?” Y/N asked him, deciding that there was no way back now. “That you would be there for me?”
Joe gently smiled at her, taking her hand in his and rubbing his thumb over the back.
“Every word.”
*
They finally arrived in America. Both bands were booked into a hotel in Georgia so that they could all get some sleep before their first American show the next day, however, they all found themselves in Joe and Sav’s room. None of them could sleep from the never fading excitement of the tour. They had all had plenty of sleep on the plane and the time difference had messed with their sleep schedules.
Everyone was either laying on one of the two beds in the room, or on the floor, but they were all slightly too drunk to care. Y/N didn’t drink very often so she found herself getting quite drunk very quickly.
Lucky, she didn’t end up vomiting but instead passed out on Joe’s lap. The man just ran his fingers through her hair, lulling her into a deeper slumber. He soon noticed a pair of eyes on him and turned to his drummer.
“What?” He questioned him in a hushed tone as not to wake the sleeping girl on his lap.
“You’re in love with her aren’t you.” Rick spoke knowingly.
Joe went to protest but was interrupted.
“Yes.” Sav stated, looking over between his two bandmates. “There’s no point denying it mate.”
Joe didn’t even bother responding, he couldn’t deny their claims. He just wanted to enjoy holding the woman on his lap. He didn’t know if he would be able to do it again.

Hi there! Could I request a little drabble of reader bringing Doppo food on his lunch break, and maybe his coworkers being a bit jealous / shocked seeing how good his life outside of work is / how happy he becomes around his spouse? Ty! :D I just wanna hug him and boost his confidence a bit, his boss and coworkers are assholes to the poor guy
Doppo's spouse bringing him food during lunch break
ommg hiii!! for some reason when I read your request I put it in a schedule like "Doppo's wife bringing him food", but now I notice you didn't mention the reader's gender so I make it gender neutral!! >.< also I totally agree!! this poor man just needs some proper care and a lot of hugs..
NBreader, fluff, just wholesome stuff;; 620 words
"T.. thank you, honey.. I'm sorry, you probably had your own business.."
"It's okay, dear.. Just don't forget to take a break and actually eat it, okay?"
Such a sweet caring tone.. Doppo can't help but smile, feeling how his cheeks get warmer and heart starts beating faster. You were like an angel, bringing him lunch when he forgot about it..!
"O-okay..! I promise to not be that forgetful next time.." - your husband nods, holding a box with a homemade meal you cooked specially for him. He already can't wait to savor every little piece of it, as your dishes were almost magic, bringing him much more energy than usual take-out from the store.
"Don't you worry.. I don't mind visiting you here everyday. You know, I want to make sure my precious spouse is doing okay.." - you smile softly and get closer, kissing his cheek. But also, as your faces get closer to each other, you can't help but giggle and whisper. - "Also, don't you think your co-workers keep looking at us?"
"Huh?" - only now Doppo noticed that a few other men, who also stood not that far away in the corridor, were trying to sneak a peek at him and his darling. Due to their wide eyes it looked like they were kinda surprised to see their always sad, tired salaryman in such high spirits.
"Hehe, Doppo, you are now the object of their jealousy, I think?" - you chuckle a little bit.
"I.. I think they were just shocked to see me like that. I'm not that positive during work hours, you know.." - Doppo sighs and whines. - "Uhh, I'm sure my stupid boss is trying to find more paperwork for me right now.. I can feel it.."
"Then I suppose I actually should appear more often in your office here, so you would feel better, honey.." - you place another kiss on his cheek. -"Let everyone know that you're no less happy than all of them.."
"I think I'm even much happier than they are.. Cause I have you, dear.." - his own words make him blush and he touches your hand shyly, looking you right in the eyes. - "C.. can you kiss me again, but this time.. you know.."
Ah.. You two are already married yet your husband is still so shy and gentle.. But that's why you loved him. You nod, cupping his face, his skin so soft and warm from blush, and then place a kiss on his lips, light but full of love and care.
"M.. your lips are always so sweet.." - Doppo mumbled with closed eyes, enjoying your tender touches. - "I want another one.."
"No, no, you shouldn't get too much sweets before lunch.." - you laugh, tapping on the box. - "Also, I think your lunch break will end soon, so it's time for me to go, okay?"
"O-oh..! You're right.." - it's clearly visible that Doppo immediately becomes nervous and more upset, thinking about returning to work.
"Don't worry, honey.. I will wait for you, and give as many kisses as you want when you get home.." - your whisper in his ear before walking away with a little smile.
'Then.. then I will work hard today..!' - he thought, still with a little smile on his lips as he happily walked to the break room, carefully holding your meal and not noticing the still surprised face of his co-workers.
