This is one of my many many favorite Yugi and Atem brotherly moments in the show with the dub.

Yugi so desperately wanting to save/stop Joey/Jonouchi from having to duel Marik., asking Atem to save him. And Atem firmly saying that they needed to let Joey do this on his own.

Like the way he says “Yugi” both times with such firmness and conviction, shows how much of a big brother/guardian role Atem plays in Yugi’s life

I just want to issue a formal apology to Wanda and Loki for thinking they were 100% responsible for whatever mutliverse shenanigans were going to go down. I had the audacity to think Stephen Strange would be a responsible adult, and I now see that I was wrong.

My favorite part about the Agatha reveal is the fact that they could have just ended the episode when she puts Wanda under her control (or whatever it was she’s doing).

But no, no.

What made it great was, despite many, many people theorizing she was Agatha from the beginning, absolutely NO ONE thought she was going to get a Disney Villain Song.

I saw so many reactions of just “Ah! Yep there it is there’s the reveal!” and then people just losing their MINDS when the song comes up.

And I think that’s just fantastic.

PEGGY NEVER WOULD HAVE LET THIS HAPPEN TO SHARON IN THE FIRST PLACE.

She would have worked her ASS OFF to make sure Sharon was pardoned and cleared of any wrongdoing WAY before this happened.

PEGGY would have been the ONE person to check in on Sharon.

ALSO can I just point out how real Reki’s spiral into depression and doubt was? Maybe it’s just my personal experience, but although it was sudden as it happened within one episode, the way they presented each little thing that Reki internalized, I could feel it as each thing being added on. First the comments from the NPCs, then Reki looking at videos of old times and just thinking on it as it continued to build up. The way he passed by Langa, and how before that you can see the lifelessness in his eyes, how deep and lost in the negative thoughts he was. It was wonderfully sad.

idk if someone can find it because i definitely want to credit the original poster but my sister told me she saw someone on tumblr saying they thought that Frill isn’t “real”, at least outside of the show

Like, she’s real in terms of the plot. She’s going to have to be defeated or whatever next episode. But she’s not a “real thing”. Because of how Ura-Acca spoke about Acca’s daughter dying, how there was “no reason for it” that it “had to be Frill” who did it. The way he kept saying “you did something”, it seems that Frill is meant to be an analogy of people searching for explanation for why others commit suicide, especially since the main motivation of Ai is to find out “why Koito died”. It also ties into how the Accas don’t understand women obviously, so they don’t understand why the wife died (whether it was a murder by “Frill” or if it was a suicide but the show is framing it as “done by Frill” as in the Accas are inventing the idea/the reasoning-”someone had to have done it/been the cause, it doesnt make sense otherwise”) or why the daughter died.

Frill is literally the temptation of death, but she isn’t meant to be “real” outside of the magical realism/surrealism/fantasy of the show. She’s meant to represent a concept or the thing that people blame when they don’t understand why things happen.
