I've said it before, and I'll say it again; this is probably my most favourite pattern I've ever followed!!! I just love the little koroks so much!! 😍

it's pretty simple but since it's ribbed it's not as repetitive as a normal hat would be!

Does anyone have any simple beginner crochet patterns?

For example, if I knit, it's mostly to keep my hand busy and I started with scarves, but moved to bookmarks, since they were essentially a smaller version of that same pattern. (I say pattern but it's the same stitch over and over)

Can you think of any small scale pixel artists whose art you enjoy? I want to crochet a pixel art piece as a blanket but when 1 pixel = 1 inch, a lot of my fav artists' works seem too massive to comprehend doing. Also feel free to use this as an excuse to plug your (or other artists) works that you think would be a great blanket, I think your aziraphel statue as a close up would make a beautiful blanket. sorry if any of this is weird I have covid I just love your art and the way you showcase smaller artists I followed many others from your posts

Minsung's daughter

When you see Sunny you'll not see Lee Know or Jisung too far behind. Often in lives she's been spotted leaning against one of them or even falling asleep on them sometimes. They care a lot for the girl and their almost parental roles towards her only solidified the ship of Minsung more.

Sunshine duo

One of her most noticeable features is the freckles that are very visible on her face. Naturally she is partnered with Felix for sharing the same quality, as well as their bright personas.

Sunny's smile is one of her most charming points that both fans and members love. There are moments where people have commented on it because of how it entrances them, such as on Kingdom, Music Bank, and in music videos too.

Producer mode

During solo lives or behind the album videos, when Sunny goes into producer mode, you'll know. She doesn't become strict or lost in her own mind, but instead she is exciteable and tries out lots of different sounds, melodies or lyrics to fit the concept she is creating. These ideas that she comes up with bounce off of members and can be the foundations of some of Stray Kids' most successful songs. On lives fans watch in awe at how her brain is able to come up with such cool sounds and merge them together.

Trying tiktok dances

As said before, Sunny isn't the most confident in her dancing, but that doesn't stop her from trying different tiktok dances and impulsively posting them - she knows stays will love them either way. She likes trying new kpop dances or ones that are viral too. The video she did dancing to Blackpink's Shutdown is her most recent video she posted on the group account, and it caught a lot of attention.

Soft voice

Sunny has a voice that people love and can't stop listening too. She is quite soft spoken, but that doesn't stop people from absorbing every word. Being in a group as loud as Stray Kids, she still manages to make herself heard, especially when it's random statements or jokes that she's sharing.

My mostly-decorated Sphynx cat anthro is wearing my fav studs, and she chills on my shelf beside my snerson (snake person). I later realised they have the exact same blue colours.

This Gaster Blaster is impossible to photograph nicely. The jaws can open :V

This 👆 freaking C2C blanket took 3 months, Jan to March I believe, and the ends aren't even woven in, just knotted. It doesn't fit my double bed but it impresses the relatives. My wonderful Wambus meanwhile sits at my PC looking gormless and my Dad hates him lmao

My beautiful Gummigoo which I just had to make for myself. And a daisy head, which was a gift for my aunt who loves to garden.

These are the faves! All original except the blanket design, and the bottom half of the snerson (snake person) which is ComplicatedKnots on YouTube's snake pattern.

my fav artists are going on tour in my clothes, im becoming a household name. learning to screen print/different ways to make clothes. im proficient in sewing and advanced in crocheting and knitting.

im a full time designer and part time student, when I have down time I focus on museum management. I have my foot in the door in regards to fashion—my own set up during a show, maybe even hosting a pop up fashion show in SF.

getting more units completed for my economics degree, my school offers more fashion classes. building a team of designers to collab and design as a unit.

feeling healthier than ever, living in my desired space. my energy feels clean, like I’ve undergone a complete and total energy shift. more in tune with philosophy.

How did you get I to your hobbies? What's one of your fave projects you've completed? What's something you want to get out of the WIP box and finish up this year?

Okay. so I was super nauseous during my treatment to the point where I couldn't look at my phone so I fell asleep, woke up, was driven home, and then took a three hour nap and I'm awake now and less wiggly but still wiggly enough to ANSWER SOEM QUESTIONS BAAAAAABY

Writing - when I was ten years old I read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and decided I was going to write my own book when I grew up. I """wrote""" a book with my brother in middle school which was absolute trash but I cherish deeply. In high school I wrote my first fanfic and then I proceeded not to seriously write until my 30s thanks to having an unmonitored computer at my terrible office job.

Knitting - I hate to admit it, but I learned to knit so I could knit a scarf from a Certain TERF Wizard Book. It took four people to teach me how to knit before it finally clicked in my head. I stopped knitting for awhile after I made knitting my main gig during the recession because nothing kills a hobby like making money off it. I still don't knit much anymore.

Crochet - so back in my 20s I went back to the woman who finally taught me to knit and begged her to teach me to crochet. It...sorta worked. I could only make spheres for awhile and the occasional plushie bee. I've picked it up again recently and have crocheted a witch hat and now I'm making a cape to match.

Cross Stitch - One of my quarantine hobbies. Someone in a Good Omens discord I was in went hey who wants to learn how to cross stitch and I was like hell yeah. It has since absolutely consumed my life. Right now it's my favorite hobby alongside writing.

Basket Weaving - My other quarantine hobby. Just. Just ignore all of the half-made baskets in my closet.

The big WIP I want to work on and finish this year is what I call the Ugly 70s Blanket. Years ago I was gifted a box of the most ugly vintage 70s yarn you can imagine and I decided to make a blanket out of it. Well I lost the pattern like 1/4th of the way through and only this year did I finally hunt down the person who gave me the pattern (the lady who taught me to knit) and thank God, she had a spare copy. Now I hope to fix it and have a horrifying blanket that goes with absolutely nothing.

My fav project would have to be Echo of the Larkspur, my book that I'm FINALLY FUCKING PUBLISHING THIS YEAR FUCK

2. A piece you're proud of and why

i actually really enjoyed writing the jason crochets fic. it's a longer fic, which i don't often write, and i got to combine my niche hobby with my blorbo. what more could you ask for??

3. A fic or artwork you enjoyed

for art, this jason by @starspilli is an absolute fav (and it was posted on my bday too!!) for fic, i really enjoyed this reverse robins au by @homobiwan!! makes me giggle every time.

12. A concept you'd like to develop next year

well you already know this BUT. the "sofia gigante mentors jason and also he is immortal" au has a GRIP on me. trust that i am rotating them in my brain 24/7. theres soooo much i could write about them good LORD.

16. Something interesting you researched as part of the process

the previously mentioned jason crochets fic involved me digging up old patterns and tutorial videos that i hadn't touched in years, which was fun!! i haven't posted this fic yet because it's for an upcoming event, but i also had to google new jersey drivers license laws. i love writing research. its so silly.

21. Something that made you emotional

i wrote this post-utrh fic immediately after rewatching the movie so i was already pretty weepy, and then i was writing about jason showing kindness at his lowest and being shown kindness in return and i got even weepier. jason's endless empathy always get to me tbh.

22. An idea you had that didn't make the cut

already answered here!! lets also pour one out for the hypothetical au i've had in my head for years but never done anything with where instead of sending jason out around the world to train with random ne'er-do-wells talia goes "i know how you can develop your skills. there is somebody who many, many people want dead. you can keep him safe and hone your abilities." and then she makes him damian's begrudging bodyguard. i have literally nothing else for this au but i think about it a lot regardless.

25. A scene or image that lives rent-free in your head

this ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS sofia + jason artwork by the incomparable @havenesc. the fuck-off poses. the coordinated color schemes. the AURA this gives off. absolutely unmatched.

today I finished a shawl for my friend lauren (I made another one with the same pattern for my aunt last month)

started a baby yoda amigurumi for my grandpa. have all the body parts done, need to crochet the robe and stitch him together (my least fav part of amigurumi)

crocheting my bf a snoopy amigurumi. started it tonight and got halfway thru the head before I got too tired.

I have over ambitious aspirations to make a giant octopus for my friend miranda. miranda if you see this, no you didn’t :p
