rewatching one piece Again and luffy told sanji “dying isn’t how you repay kindness!” it took so much for that to sink in for sanji. he tried dying for zeff at the battle with don krieg at the baratie. he’s struck down by enel. he tried to jump in front of zoro before kuma. he sold himself to big mom. he sees his life as so worthless for too long until luffy comes to save him. he’s one of the wings of the pirate king. he’s a beloved son to a fighting cook. he is worth so much and has a home in this world and it took his whole life to figure it out. it’s insane how much luffy can heal people’s deepest traumas with his love

If I have energy I want to draw out some designs for an au I'm spontaneously writing.

(Medieval times, there's a Prophecy. Nightmare rules over this kingdom and is supposed to complete this prophecy, he refuses to because it would harm the people. Dream was sent away and banished by Night because he was dis-illusioned into thinking the prophecy was a Good Thing abd what he was raised to complete. Night collected his Knights (Killer, Dust, Horror, and Cross most recently) and trains them and tells them the truth of the prophecy. They're loyal to him. One day the magic of the prophesy (Apple Magic) leaves Nightmare unexpectedly, returning him to the state he was in before he accepted the mantle. This puts a target on his back and gives Dream a huge advantage in maybe making a comeback. The Knight's decide that their King (newly a young lad and variably scared and frightened) must be protected and they run the kingdom as he normally would, while also ensuring he survives and that the prophecy can't be completed.)

#yes this is fueled from RealAge AU vibes #and yes I technically have circled back around to my own initial post but like #the visual of these specific guys who've had various hardships in their lives suddenly like... idk... gaining a purpose and a protector in #Nightmare then seeing him reduced to a fraction of what they'd known him as. and still deciding to follow and care for him?#this au gives off distinct Older Brother energy because Night is like... 13-ish and not young enough to #baby but not old enough to resume his duties immediately #and he's got this like... awkward teen anxiety suddenly flooding through him that he doesn't know how to cope with #so the guys turn around and use lessons Night taught them while they adjusted to help him #Night's weak from Magic-loss? well he used to make sure Dust got bed rest and a meal so that's what we'll do!#Night is losing a huge chunk of his autonomy? They found a hobby for Killer so what does Night like?#just... yeah #plus Dream fully believes his bro pushed him out due to greed for power and had gathered forces to rally with him during exile #so he's the returned golden prince #and I imagine here that the final stand involves the knights scattering to stop Dream's forces while Killer stays with Night (<- most loyal)#and Killer hides Night right before Dream shows #and Dream says a bunch of vitriolic stuff about how Night ran and sacrificed his men and such and cuts down Killer with a near fatal blow #and Night finally manages to get out of wherever Killer stashed him and there's a moment where #Dream is seeing his little brother abd Night is seeing the man who lost his rights to be called brother when he attacked his Knights #and like... idk man #also Error is definitely Night's court magician/wizard because he bends reality in ways it really shouldn't #and here Error is younger because. i. I like the idea of an Errormare subplot but also like. the idea of scary spooky Overlord NM looking at #the wizard who just turned a vase inside out who's like 10 and learning he's a runaway and sponsoring him? yeah that's silly.#turns out Apple Night appreciated Error's raw talent. after the fact Night realizes he admires Error. insane tonal whiplash from his Knights #who have Zero protocol for courtships and kinda like. just watch it happen after the chaos is over #Okay that's all. i need to do my homework

WHAT #like you could argue he doesn't realise his attacks are fatal bc he's just blinded by temper and his mission #like he's never directly gone 'kill that guy!' 'im gonna kill you' or smthn even tho when he attacked katara it WAS pretty implied #w the whole 'im gonna get the avatar are NO ONE will get in my way' or whatever the fuck he said before close-range channeling #enough fire to constitute a BOMB and aiming at her while she was already down. i love having ocs because i can put them in so many silly situations. anyways i think vera torres (nightmare factory protagonist) would not work as the mc for most of the horror games that i like because she has a single hammer and she would 100% use it against the Horrors.

#i dont know a single mascot game from the top of my head that vera couldnt beat #fnaf: she has a hammer and she WILL use it against the animatronics #poppy playtime: she has a hammer and is a mother. if she isn't killing the mascots she accidentally adopts them #indigo park: SHE HAS A HAMMER. SHE *IS* GOING TO USE IT #anyways i dont think she would survive silent hill but at the same time i want to put some faith on her #i think she could survive silent hill (as long as she has the hammer and is like halfway through her character development)#resident evil is easy #she wins. with the hammer.#amnesia cannot survive that woman she can and will use the hammer #spookys jumpscare mansion im so sorry but she can and WILL use the hammer #you can argue vera is weak against non corporeal entities - which is true - however she is also brazilian #which as a brazilian grants her a certain resistance to non corporeal entities #“could she survive fatal frame” - idk much about fatal frame but i like to think she could #anyways she wouldnt survive slenderman because she would try to attack him/it with the hammer #vera torres

something i was thinking about on stand yesterday.. danganronpa shsl lifeguard who tries to save a dying person they find, bonus points if they dont come clean about it at first because they think they actually killed that person with their efforts

#or if they do actually kill them which would be really tragic. this happens in chapter 4 of course #ok i actually put way too much thought into this. to put it into perspective i had shifts with 5 hours on stand saturdsy and sunday #i thought of it on saturday 20 mins in. so this concept has been in my brain for a while #anywayyy im thinking she had some pretty high profile eddie aikau type saves and got a little famous off that #AND is always offering to help people #so for the sake of writing another tragic athlete yuri ch4: i think the victim in her case is someone who is adamant about not wanting help #like a woman playing a sport typically seen as being manly (american ‌foot‌ball rug‌by wrestlin‌g etc etc)#im imagining shes from a family of pretty good (male) athletes and is constantly dealing with comparisons to portray her as weaker #she wont accept help or medical assistance because she thinks it makes her weak. which is a trait female characters should have more #so you get two really valid worldviews and its debatable whether the victim actually needed medical assistance/help or if it #just made things worse #anyway im imagining the ending of the previous chapter shows a black screen with #'unknown: hey hey are you okay?'#and ms life guard tries to give her situationship a slightly dignified resting place so we dont discover the body for a little while #not too long but a little while #actually i think the lifeguard killing the athlete with chest compressions would make a really compelling scenario #where the actual person with murderous intent was someone who poisoned or near-fatally hit the athlete #and they get to walk free (under extreme suspicion from other students) while the girl who got sooo close to saving her dies #lifeguard could be someone whos easily distracted but locks in while on duty to the point where shes like a different person #but slipping up and breaking the athletes rib (or whatever) was her one moment of panic #because she cared about the victim on a personal level #i neednto be sedated so i shut the fuck up. tomorrow is the first day of school bro #i DID say i had 10 hours to think about this
