I had two asks with Ss in them, but no prompts! So, okay, there’s the obvious ones, (Aldarion spending so much time in Middle-Earth because he’s giving the D to Gil-galad, Sting as originally being a dagger for Idril), now I’m really scratching my head....OH! Here’s a controversial take and something I was thinking about today: Fingon and Maedhros not being married, because of the cousin taboo. 

Alright, alright, alright, so: Fingon’s rescued Maedhros, the rift is healed, yay everything. Fingolfin pulls Fingon aside and is like, “Son, you know I need you to marry. Preferably a woman.” Argon is dead; Turgon will have no other children beyond Idril; Fingolfin has the preternatural knowing that he will not survive against Morgoth - their people are going to look to Fingon. And what will he then do, marry his own cousin?? How can he do this, the Noldor need him. 

Yeahhhh, it’s angsty. All about how Fingon does what dad wants, marries a Sindar of Cirdan’s people, has Gil; but still goes to Maedhros at the drop of a hat (oh, they fuckin’). But yeah, the metas on why Russingon doesn’t violate the cousin taboo are valid, but imo, it’s impossible for Fingon and Maedhros to have any kind of happy ending, and I am firmly in the Gil-galad-as-Fingon’s-son camp. (This got longer than anyone expected.)

H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., tv shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)

I’m not sure I entirely understand this question, what kind of fandoms do I gravitate to? Cause “source text” to me is, like......what sources do you site in your fan participation. If the former, idk, anything that strikes my fancy. The latter, specifically for Tolkien (because that’s all I care about anymore), I’m one of those tiresome people who prefers the books to the films, so first and foremost the actual text. For easy retrieval, I tend to use Tolkien Gateway, but about the only thing I strongly disagree on with that is their take on Gil-galad, so there you have it. The One Wiki to Rule Them All is good, not quite AS good for book stuff, but great for film and game stuff. (But then again they have the “correct” take on Gil-galad, so.)

Hot Chocolate (Part 1)

Ok I wrote this cause it was something that I would love to read. That’s how I’m gonna write from now on tbh, totally open to requests and criticism so hmu 💕

Summary: you and Peter are classmates, after a long day you turn to him for help, discovering something new you feel

Warnings: none but fluff and wishing they’d just kiss already tbh

Word count: 3094 (I’m sorry i just couldn’t stop writing lol)

HOT CHOCOLATE:

It was Friday and almost sunset when you got into a huge argument with your dad. Causing tears to continuously stream down your face. You grabbed your phone and ran out of your apartment. You ran outside to where it was pouring rain. Michelle’s apartment building was right next to yours and you knew it was the only place to go. Strangers passing you on the street wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between the rain and the tears streaming down your face simultaneously. Michelle was your best friend and you could always count on her. You pounded on her door, still sobbing, and no one answered. You looked left and right trying to think of where you could go. You couldn’t return to your apartment, you were just too upset and couldn’t believe your dad could get that, genuinely angry. The closest place you could go was to Peter’s apartment. He live one floor under you, causing you to run down and out of Michelle’s building and back outside, almost tripping over every stair, tears blurring your vision. You tripped over the last step and scraped your elbow a bit. Wincing in pain, you kept going until you reached his door. May Parker or Ms. Parker, as you always addressed her, was always nice to you whenever you saw her. She always told you that her door was open anytime. You couldn’t refuse the offer this time. You knocked gently on the door this time, you waited a few seconds before May opened the door with a smile that slowly melted into a pitiful face concerned about your state. Sniffling, you asked, “Can I please come in?” Ms. Parker quickly pulled you through the doorway. “What’s wrong?” She exclaimed, pulling you in for a hug. “M-my dad got so mad.” You said crying and shaking. “Shhh, shh, it’s okay. You can stay here for a while.” May said while pulling you away from her body, breaking the hug, and wiped away your tears. “Thank you so much.” You said looking down in shame from how embarrassed you were to be in front of her like this. You were honestly closer with May than you were with Peter. You just never really talked to him at school, but somehow always ended up talking to May in your building. You stood awkwardly in front of the door looking around the apartment aimlessly, your right hand rubbing your left upper-arm. Soon enough May handed you a mug of hot chocolate and had you sit down on the couch putting a blanket over your shoulders. “Thank you so much May.” you said sniffling. “Anytime honey, do you wanna talk about it.” as she said that your face turned sadder, causing her to respond “O-or I can turn on a movie, Peter has tons in his room, hang on.” She said standing up, walking to Peter’s room. Sitting criss-cross now with the blanket over your lap, you set down your mug, still with some hot chocolate in it, on the coffee table in front of you. On the table was a picture of Peter and May when Peter was probably 12 or so. You giggled at the photo about how cute Peter was with his freckles, that eventually faded as he grew up. All of sudden, Peter exited the bathroom that was across the room from you. He was in only a towel with his clothes in his hand and his hair wet and curly. You must not have heard the shower on, considering the rain was pounding on the windows of their apartment. He stopped suddenly, just standing there, with no words. His mouth open with just an “uhh” sound coming out. You chuckled and looked down quickly, shocked to see him half naked. “H-hey (Y/N).” He paused. “Ummm.” You blushed and cursed in your head about how awkward this was. “Ha-ha, um May let me in.” you said trying to break the silence. As soon as Peter saw your eyes still with some tears in them, and your hair soaking wet from the rain, he became concerned. “O-Oh my gosh, are you ok-okay (Y/N)?!” He said shocked yet still softly and shyly. You could tell he was debating whether or not to come sit next to you, but he felt awkward at the though, him being naked besides a towel around his waist. “Umm.” You gulped, looking down. It was hard to talk about the fight. “I-uh. My dad got pretty angry and we got into a pretty big fight.” You looked up at Peter who was now closer to the couch. “Oh god (Y/N). I’m so sorry.” He said nicely while putting his hand on your shoulder. He looked in your eyes. The tears reflecting your beautiful, bold, (Y/E/C) eyes were mesmerizing in his mind. The moment got really intimate really quick. You looked away and gulped before it went too far. He felt awkward and cleared his throat. “I’m gonna go put on some clothes now.” He said jokingly, trying to cheer you up. He ran his fingers through his hair, cursing himself in his mind and gave out a loud exhale. He clearly was embarrassed. You chuckled as he left the area. You were in shock at the moment you just had, considering you never really talked to Peter but you felt like you’d known him for years while you were looking at him. Thinking about his bare chest and broad shoulders with water droplets all over him from his shower, it gave you tingles. Damn Peter is ripped, you thought. Who knew the dorky science nerd in school was pretty bulked. You shook the strange thoughts out of your head and could hear Peter talking to May in his room. You could hear his voice crack as he whined to May in an angry, yet cute way. “You didn’t warn me! I just walked out bare with a towel and there she was!” Peter whined. May giggled, “Oh c’mon Peter, just help me pick a movie so I can go get some food for dinner.” Peter sighed. “Wait, can-is (Y/N) staying for dinner?” Peter said correcting himself, trying not to seem desperate. “If you want her to.” May winked at Peter. “Oh-oh s-sure if you think it’s a good idea.” Peter insisted. “Okay well just pick a movie, I’ll go ask her what she wants for dinner.” May said leaving Peter’s room, “Oh, and put some clothes on.” Peter’s cheeks flushed pink and he gave May a stare. When May came to ask you about dinner, you acted like you hadn’t heard their conversation. “Hey (Y/N), I’m gonna head out to get dinner, is there anything you are in the mood for?” She asked with sympathy. “Um, I don’t have a preference really, I’m not much of a picky eater.” You said with a smile. “Okay, I’m thinking Chinese.” May said with excitement and her weird quirkiness. You giggled as she continued talking, “Peter’s gonna find some movies, you can start it while I’m gone, why don’t you go see if Peter’s decent and help him pick a movie.” She said pointing to Peter’s closed door. “Oh, okay, sure thing.” You said and started to his door, before turning around to May, “Oh, and thank you so much May.” She smiled and nodded tenderly and headed out the door. You did a little dance, happy that you had such a nice family willing to take you in, especially if they were getting you food. You laughed in your head and then knocked on Peter’s door. “Hey P-Peter, you decent? May said I should come help you pick a movie.” You said and heard a little crash, Peter was hopping around his room trying to get his shirt on. “Uhhhhhhhh” He dragged out until he could finish getting his shirt and sweatpants on, “Yeah.” He opened the door and smiled awkwardly, clearly not letting go of your most previous “moment” with him. You smiled slightly and stepped in as he gestured one arm into his room, the other, up holding the door. “So what are our options?” You asked as he just stood their thinking quietly. “Peter?” You waved trying to get his attention, confused as to how he was on his own planet or something. “Oh! Um sorry, there’s a stack of movies on my desk you can look at.” He said smiling. “Okay, cool.” You said with a grin, stepping over to his desk. He still stood by the door, saying, “Uh, there are some Star Wars movies an-” You cut him off. “Pirates of the Caribbean; Dead Man’s Chest?!?” You almost screamed out of excitement, this being one of your favorites. “You like it?” Peter gasped in surprise. “Do I?” You exclaimed turning around to Peter, “I love it, it’s the best in the series!” You said with an open smile. You and Peter met eyes and he smiles at your smile. “I didn’t take you as much of a fan of stuff like that.” He chuckled. “Stuff like what Peter? ‘Boy Stuff’?” You jokingly asked with a snarky attitude. “N-no that’s-no-uh” He choked on his words. “It’s okay Peter, lighten up, just teasing.” You said smacking his shoulder playfully. You picked out the DVD and held it in the air gesturing to say, “So.. is this the final pick or..?” Wondering if Peter would ever actually talk. “Yeah. Yeah. Sounds great.” He said, and thinking he was done talking you began to exit his room until, “Sorry. (Y/N), I’ve been kinda out of it today, so I’m sorry in advance if I space out.” He said in a ‘trying to make it up to you manner’. You nodded in agreement and said “It’s totally okay. I have a lot on my mind tonight too.” You smiled and began to walk out of his room. He followed behind you and took the DVD from you to put into the player that was connected to the TV in his living room. You hated it being so awkward between you too. You’re not really that close with Peter and being in his apartment in such a vulnerable state after your fight made you scared. You just wanted to feel comfortable tonight. As if on cue, Peter said, “There are some blankets on the chair over there, you should grab a few just so we-uh you can get comfortable.” You blushed at his words, and went and grabbed two blankets, one for each of you and plopped them down on the couch. Peter offered for you guys to wait until May got back with the food before starting the movie and you agreed. However, this left a gap of time where you had to keep yourselves busy. You decided to pull out your phone and sit on the couch, Peter joined you and did the same. You were scrolling through instagram when you came across a funny meme page. Let’s be honest, anyone could spend hours scrolling through meme posts and most people did. You giggled a few time while reading some posts, sparking Peter’s interest in you. You came across a video that was just too funny to not laugh at. You giggled the first time you watched it, and you ended up laughing like crazy after the 3 time replaying it. Peter was now fully invested in what you were watching and asked, “What?” almost laughing from your laughter. You held your phone out in front of him while looking the other way laughing. He started chuckling and laughing just as hard as you. You guys kept replaying the video to the point where you were rocking back n’ forth and smacking your knees to how funny it was. Your laughing half turned into loud gasping, you were laughing so hard you could barely breathe. You ended your laughter with a sign as you buried your face into Peter’s shoulder and he continued laughing, wiping away some tears his laughter has forced out of him. “That was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen!” Peter exclaimed with a little chuckle along with it. “I know right.” You laughed out in agreement. “Oh my god, I’m crying” you said as both your laughters died down to a complete stop. You sat there smiling while cooling down from the laughs and Peter said, “Geez,” while giggling a bit, “I love your laugh (Y/N).” After saying that he stopped, wide-eyed and almost red in the face. “Haha, thanks Peter.” You thought nothing of it, and leaned your head on his shoulder while continuing to scroll through instagram. He shifted quickly at the feeling of your hair still wet from the night’s rain, as you had only been with him for maybe 15 minutes after arriving. You apologized, “Oh, sorry,” and sat up, moving your hair to the other side of your neck, away from Peter and exposing your bare skin. “I-It’s fine” Peter said while admiring your neck and jawline. You felt him staring at you so you looked at him, your eyes met and time stopped. He has the most enriched, brown eyes that you had never payed attention to before but it was the most important thing right now. “Whatcha lookin’ at Peter?” You said trying to play off that moment, teasing him. “Oh nothing…. I like your earrings.” Was the first thing that came to his mind. You giggled and nudged his arm with you elbow. “Just teasing, again.” You said trying to escape the awkward yet still cute moment. Peter laughed, cursing at himself in his head and shifted his a body a bit more up against yours. You thought nothing of it and leaned your head on his shoulder and giggled at a few more instagram posts. Every now and then sharing them with Peter, causing him to laugh too. May finally walked through the door and you sat up and walked to help her with the bag of food. “Smells delish” You said while walking over to their kitchen counter, placing the bag down. May gave Peter a look addressing the fact that you too had looked all cuddled up. Peter stared at May almost telling her to ‘shut up’ and ignore it. “I’m glad Peter was able to cheer you up.” She said with an obvious wink to you. You blushed and Peter’s voice cracked as he whimpered to May, “C’mon May!” You giggled and pulled the food out of the bag and placed it on the counter. ———————– You all laughed and made jokes over dinner, completely erasing your memories of the fight. May called your father telling him that Peter invited (Y/N) to study tonight so that things didn’t get awkward and your dad didn’t get angry. You all decided it was time to start the movie, you sat on the couch next to Peter, expecting for May to sit on the other side of him. You started to cuddle under one of the blankets when May briskly yanked Peter’s blanket off of him, “I’ll be taking this.” She said with a smirk. Peter just looked at her, “What?!… Oh I guess you’ll both have to share one.” May said, amusing herself. You and Peter made awkward eye contact before offering him the other half of your blanket. May sat in one of the recliner chairs, giving you and Peter the whole couch to yourselves. ————————- The rolling credits appeared on the screen, May stood up to stretch and saw that you had fallen asleep on Peter. Your head on his shoulder and you were hugging his arm. “I’m gonna leave you to wake her up. Let her know she can stay the night.” May whispered to Peter before leaving him without a chance to respond. “May!” Peter whisper yelled trying to get May to come back. He looked at you then back at where May had walked towards her bedroom. Peter hated the thought of waking you up to two options. One, you had to go back home to the place where your dad betrayed you, or two, you had to be woken up only to an awkward conversation about you falling asleep on Peter and him leaving you on the couch to go to bed. He thought and thought, and he ended up falling asleep, his head perfectly laid on top of yours. ————————— May woke you both up by accident, slamming the door behind her as she left for work. She had left a note for you two on the counter that you would read later. You yawned and groaned at the slight morning haze you had. Once you realized you were snuggling Peter and quickly after that you made eye contact with him, you darted up. “I’m so sorry for falling asleep on you.” You said innocently. “It’s fine, I think we fell asleep around the same time.” He lied only to spare feelings. “Anyways May had offered for you to spend the night anyways, so don’t feel bad about it.” You couldn’t believe he was so sweet. You felt like you had known Peter for longer than the almost 20 hours you had just spent with him. You blushed and just kind of sat there. Peter sat up and leaned back on the couch, giving out a loud exhale. “You okay?” You asked kindly. “Yeah, just thinking.” He responded softly. “I should probably head home now, my dad will want to talk to me.” You used it as an excuse to leave and avoid any more awkwardness. ‘Cause holy shit, you were filled to the brim of embarrassment and couldn’t stand another awkward moment with Peter. “Wait, wouldn’t your dad be at work?” Peter asked quickly, so quickly you wondered if he wanted you to stay. “You’re right, but I’ve been here a long time, I don’t want you to get sick of me.” You laughed and grabbed your phone to stand up. “(Y/N), It’s fine. Besides we can play a game or go somewhere…” Peter waited for you to respond, but you didn’t so he continued talking. “U-unless you wanna go back to your apartment.” He said it almost like it was a question. “Well, if you wanna hang out some more, you can come to my place and we can find something to do.” You offered, hoping to not get shut down by Peter. “I’d be honored.” He said in a dorky enough way for him to curse at himself in his head.

With the Matsu Games coming to a close after a long and successful month, we must unfortunately say goodbye to one another. But that’s not to say that we won’t see each other again! After all, they’re being held once every 6 months, so that’s good news! I’ve enjoyed every single second that I was in Team Karamatsu, even when I, or any other team mate, were feeling down, our team never failed to comfort one another to help brighten their day and all around improve their mood. We’ve all made such wonderful friends, but more importantly, we’ve all become a weird, beautiful family. I think the thing that I found to be the most fascinating about the games thus far, is how it was able to bring even the shyest person out of their shell, it’s truly a beautiful experience. So I just wanted to say, thank you so much for putting these games together. Because of it, I’ve made so many friendships with so many aMAZING people, and even had a relationship with one of them, BUT EVEN IF IT DIDN’T LAST LONG, I still love them~ 💖 and I hope that we can continue to be aMAZING LONG LASTING FRIENDS THAT SEND TRASHY MEMES TO ONE ANOTHER FOR NO REASON OTHER THAT JUST TO LAUGH OR SOMETHING. @team-kara I’m glad that I was able to become a Vice Leader for the team that I very much so cherished, and was able to help in any way I could. @team-oso EVEN THOUGH I WASN’T ON YOUR TEAM, I still love ya and appreciate that you tried to get me on lowkey. @team-kun You best invite me next time y’all have a movie night, because last time was fUN, and I legit couldn’t stop laughing.(IT WON’T LET ME MENTION YOU OH MY GOD) @Team-Ichi I WANT MORE CAT PICS OK, Y’all best give me a nice, heart felt, welcoming HEWWO when the games start again. @team-choro THANK YOU FOR LOVING VOCALOID AND ME(?) @team-todo you’re all adorable and I love you, Also can I get uhhhhhhhh boneless caramel mac-(i’m sorry) @team-jyushi idk what to say. ummm, vore...? 1. Who was the last person you held hands with? - My girlfriend from like… 2009-ish… I think? Yeah. That sounds about right. Although the girl I was last in a relationship with most more that likely would have, but she lived in Florida, and we broke up before we ever got to meet each other.

3. Who are you looking forward to seeing? - My brother when he gets back from college for his summer break. I wanna hang out with him as much as I can for his summer break.
