leo is already going to have similar angst about this with draxum so i'd say it really just wouldnt be anything but redundant. i'd say that responsibility needs to be out of his hands more than it does raph because it tore him apart-- they're a lot happier settling into being co leaders at the end, because raph hasn't had anyone to be there as a line of support and leo has never had a big brother to look up to. there will be a lot of fights over taking control once theyre forced to work together, because BOTH of them are stuck in their old roles of being the oldest of their families/the ones that are meant to keep their younger brother in line, but they'll eventually get it together and come to that conclusion pretty early.

and as unaddressed as splinter's reasons are in canon, ive always seen it as him recognizing this untapped potential in leo (i kind of wonder if this was meant to be set up in many unhappy returns?) AND him understanding that raph needs some of the weight off his shoulders. they're not going to be able to flourish with raph there constantly fixing their mistakes and sheltering them, and that's really not a good thing seeing how much stress it puts on raph. i kind of see the trust fall as him giving up responsibility and putting it in their hands like that ngl

he wouldn't do this in wwww. mikey's still the littlest brother and family baby but he's already been established to be VICIOUSLY independent, and splinter really doesn't have any authority over donnie and leo. he's too lenient, too unlike draxum, and they dont like how he does see them as children. although donnie is kind of a suck up to him for approval because he's still donnie in the end and leo is more the type to lash out to test his patience/be "punished" because he doesn't trust him.

splinter doesn't really have the right to intervene, and they've settled into something great independent from him. i plan on giving him a more concrete emotional conclusion with raph because their relationship is extra complicated, though. like raph trusts LEO who is a category 5 freak that desperately needs an exorcism who also tried to kill him repeatedly with his problems more than he does his own father, and that's saying something. raph spent his whole life feeling like he had NOBODY except for occasionally april (who is closer to mikey than him) and that takes a toll on him. i plan on sinking my teeth into it more than canon does.

I go back and forth between thinking if Larry are still together or not. Lately I feel like they're not because of Louis ending it with Eleanor (her being Harry's proxy), pushing his dad image so much and now making it really clear that LT3 might not be factual. The change in atmosphere in the fandom makes me think it too, that others have noticed a change. Harry stopped wearing the peace ring too. What do you think? If you do think they broke up when do you think it happened? I know you said before around Fine Line. But did they get back together and break up again? I don't know.

anon 2: Louis posted a selfie today at the same time as Harry's show and I feel like he's throwing shade at the gold stars who have been saying that his recent pics in LA are old (they're not) and he's secretly in Germany with Harry. Anon 1, I've talked about it a fair bit, but for real, nobody has any idea, no matter how many gold stars are out there crowing about how "loud" these two are. If you're asking for my own personal opinion, yes, I think they were together and super hot/heavy in the early years, but since ~2015, it's giving me on again/off again vibes, trying out the whole open relationship thing at least once, living through just a real hot mess of a situation, quelle dramatique, etc. I mean, I listen to the last 4 albums these 2 have put out (and that last 1D album, while I'm at it), and there are zero hoops I have to come up with to prove to myself that things are a-okay because a) they're chaotic human beings, and b) sometimes things just aren't.

Hi everyone! I made a list for newcomers who are interested in watching SRMT but don't know where to start! : ]

'Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!' (Yes, that's really the title, 'SRMTHFG' for short) was a cartoon that aired from 2004-2006 on Jetix/Disney Channel.

It's about a boy and his team of cybernetic monkeys saving the universe from the evil Skeleton King. It sounds ridiculous... but it is so unironically good. There is plot. There is trauma. There are wacky antics. You can watch the entire series on YouTube, in HD, for free lol.

There's two versions of the show:

1080p HD, widescreen, censored (YouTube Link)

I've noticed lmao. Here's how it goes down. idk what part of this is the part you're eager for but (under the cut for various spoilers):

After a certain point, as I've said, Siffrin starts to talk to the Empty Party with the intention of communicating with the one puppeting them. And, thus, starts to have full-on, genuine, repeated conversations with the Change God. Complete with their faces going all weird.

Loop is watching as much of what Siffrin's going through as they can. The first few times the party acts weird, they brush it off as 'not my party not my circus not my monkeys etc' and just decides "not like they WOULD act like who I want them to be." But. But. There's only so many times you can watch Odile's facial features disappear, only so long you can stare at a Bonnie with Too Many Eyes before....y'know. They'd be stupid to keep insisting to themself that Siffrin's making stuff up to mess with them.

But the thing is....Loop is stubborn. Loop, character-wise, would NEVER go up to Siffrin twiddling their fingers going "sowwy, i was a big meanie and you were right and i was wrong and i'd love to talk to your friends actually". Loop just wouldn't do that.

By the time they realize they were wrong, by the time they realize they'd been that callous, and the party had been there to witness it...they figure rekindling, trying to make amends, trying to make up for it, none of that would...work. To them it would be a lost cause. To them it would be pitiful. They've already fallen so far. They've already proven themself a quitter.

They refuse to let Siffrin ever see them again.

And when Siffrin forces them to talk, despite their avoidance...they're breaking apart drastically. They barely have enough face to even support one eye.

........on that note I'm actually considering having the secret fight happen before the post-game. But I haven't plotted out the motivations for it yet so I'll figure out the how's and why's later.
