leo is already going to have similar angst about this with draxum so i'd say it really just wouldnt be anything but redundant. i'd say that responsibility needs to be out of his hands more than it does raph because it tore him apart-- they're a lot happier settling into being co leaders at the end, because raph hasn't had anyone to be there as a line of support and leo has never had a big brother to look up to. there will be a lot of fights over taking control once theyre forced to work together, because BOTH of them are stuck in their old roles of being the oldest of their families/the ones that are meant to keep their younger brother in line, but they'll eventually get it together and come to that conclusion pretty early.

and as unaddressed as splinter's reasons are in canon, ive always seen it as him recognizing this untapped potential in leo (i kind of wonder if this was meant to be set up in many unhappy returns?) AND him understanding that raph needs some of the weight off his shoulders. they're not going to be able to flourish with raph there constantly fixing their mistakes and sheltering them, and that's really not a good thing seeing how much stress it puts on raph. i kind of see the trust fall as him giving up responsibility and putting it in their hands like that ngl

he wouldn't do this in wwww. mikey's still the littlest brother and family baby but he's already been established to be VICIOUSLY independent, and splinter really doesn't have any authority over donnie and leo. he's too lenient, too unlike draxum, and they dont like how he does see them as children. although donnie is kind of a suck up to him for approval because he's still donnie in the end and leo is more the type to lash out to test his patience/be "punished" because he doesn't trust him.

splinter doesn't really have the right to intervene, and they've settled into something great independent from him. i plan on giving him a more concrete emotional conclusion with raph because their relationship is extra complicated, though. like raph trusts LEO who is a category 5 freak that desperately needs an exorcism who also tried to kill him repeatedly with his problems more than he does his own father, and that's saying something. raph spent his whole life feeling like he had NOBODY except for occasionally april (who is closer to mikey than him) and that takes a toll on him. i plan on sinking my teeth into it more than canon does.

I go back and forth between thinking if Larry are still together or not. Lately I feel like they're not because of Louis ending it with Eleanor (her being Harry's proxy), pushing his dad image so much and now making it really clear that LT3 might not be factual. The change in atmosphere in the fandom makes me think it too, that others have noticed a change. Harry stopped wearing the peace ring too. What do you think? Anon 1, I've talked about it a fair bit, but for real, nobody has any idea, no matter how many gold stars are out there crowing about how "loud" these two are. If you're asking for my own personal opinion, yes, I think they were together and super hot/heavy in the early years, but since ~2015, it's giving me on again/off again vibes, trying out the whole open relationship thing at least once, living through just a real hot mess of a situation, quelle dramatique, etc. I mean, I listen to the last 4 albums these 2 have put out (and that last 1D album, while I'm at it), and there are zero hoops I have to come up with to prove to myself that things are a-okay because a) they're chaotic human beings, and b) sometimes things just aren't.

Here's a list over issues I've seen Americans have about Robbie Williams and/or Better Man, and subsequently, my attempts at answering them as a humble Norwegian guy who grew up in the late 2000's and early 2010's:

Why is he a CGI monkey? Now I've seen loads of different explanations for this, so I'll try to summarise it for you (even though he literally explains it in the trailer); Robbie Williams is a performer, an entertainer, and due to this he's always felt like a bit of a circus monkey being pulled on stage for a show, combined with people not taking him seriously as a musician. Additionally, he rose to fame with Take That at the age of 16, and partially, due to this, he has felt a bit stunted and less evolved than other people ("but humans didn't evolve from chimpanzees" yes we know). He also said in an interview that he's on the spectrum to kind of bond these things together. Besides, it's an interesting gimmick lol.

Why have I never heard of him if he's "so" famous? Robbie Williams never really broke in the US. Probably just because of differences in the industry at the time, or the fact that his music is often heavily influenced by the europop genre.

So he's famous in the UK, that doesn't make him a worldwide star. You need to stop treating this as a US vs. UK thing. He's not just big in the UK. He's well-known in most of the world outside America (Europe, Asia, Oceania, etc.), take it from me as a Norwegian.

Why do you care if I don't know who he is/if I don't want to watch the movie? We don't. We really don't care. I mean, we were surprised at first that Americans had never heard of him because it's unimaginable to us who have had his music drilled into our brains our entire lives. But we're not angry that you don't know who he is. We're annoyed with and tired of the attitude. All we're asking is for you to have a little bit of decorum and treat the subject with even a speck of respect.

Don't take it personally. We're not. We're just tired of rehashing the same arguments over and over again because you don't know who he is.

I agree with you on that Freddie probably isnt his real name, I do wonder however how that works in his real life, like what do they tell the people he goes to school with and his friends that come to play at his house and meet his real parents. Like now they must be at an age that they must kinda understand, but then again how do you grasp something like that, but how did that work when they were younger? And the children probably don't know who he is, but their parents might, cause they might be fans of Louis or One Direction. God what a fucking mess that must be.

Yeah, I really have no clue what they tell people. It’s way enough to just say something like, “Dallas is his middle name, that’s what he goes by.” But come on. It’s not like Louis is a complete unknown. Someone has to be wondering wtf is going on and why that kid is always with his grandparents and why his last name is Clark, etc etc.
