fractionation - pretty self explanatory. if you start rapid fire fractionating me, my brain becomes mush. particularly effective with the words up/down and drop/wake. on that same note ...

rapid fire/trigger spam - okay so trigger spamming is silly sometimes because it reminds me of like. a starter tist you'd find on reddit or something that just spams the word sleep at you hoping it'll work. but when used tastefully? holy fuck. not giving me the time to recover/think about it is your best shot at getting me down

resistance/bratting - these themselves aren't weaknesses but they're likes that have weakness within them. if you can eventually convince me that i want to drop and obey more than i want to resist and win, then you'll get me. this isn't as easy as you think, because i am quite stubborn, competitive, and i like winning.

being sleepy - this doesn't even really need explanation, but i am very easy when tired. but i mean tired tired, because i'm tired 24/7 anyway lol. but catching me after waking up either in the morning or from a nap makes it harder for me to fight. that and if i'm straight up just sleep deprived, like i only got 2 hours or i've been up for 16+ hours, i'm even easier.

instant inductions/unexpected triggers - this ties into the same reasoning for rapid fire—not giving me time. i will most likely drop and then wake myself up, so you have those few seconds of vulnerability before i recover to do something.

covert/conversational inductions - also relatively explanatory. for covert in particular, if i don't notice that you're trancing me then i won't know that i'm being entranced. and i can't fight against something i don't notice. for conversational, i will definitely notice at some point. it's just dependent on how early i notice to be able to fight it off.

whatever the fuck you call what this ask was - i'm bad at words so i don't know what to identify this as but this? holy fuck. this just slides into my brain so easily dhfjfj. 💖 you didn't see this

"____ for me" - i made this a post and it blew up for no reason dhfhg. i am way more likely to obey a command if you throw a for me on there.

praise - i'm very easily flustered so lots of praise gets me into a very blushy, shy, keysmashing state, which could be used to make me fuzzy.

dumbification - making me feel all dumb gets me so easy. calling me dumb, dummy, or a ditz or trying to get me to giggle makes me just fhfhtjg

confusion - it is not hard to confuse me like . at all. literally just throw some "if you're thinking about not thinking then are you thinking?" or "forget to remember, remember to forget" or make up = down and down = up n i'm all yours.

amnesia - if i'm fuzzy and you tell me to forget about something then there's a good chance of it working. especially when it's slipped in casually, like "oh, nevermind, forget i said anything" and i'll have a moment of like wha-? where my mind decides whether or not to do it. some reassurance, like "that's right, you can just forget" or "don't worry about it" will probably work.

"must _____" - a command preceeded by must (only must, not you must) is extremely compelling to me and hard to resist.

cock - i'm not expanding on this, you know who you are shfhrhfurhf

mantras/repetition - if you give me a mantra that's gonna be stuck in my head for a while. or making me repeat something, or asking questions that have the same single answer

trance recall - if you make me think of a trance i've recently been in, i get all fuzzy and my eyes flutter as if i'm feeling the same thing again.

post-trance fuzziness - in switch fights, if i didn't lose then i'm definitely fuzzy as fuck and a bit fractionated. if you pretend it's over and then catch me by surprise, that might secure you a last ditch victory.

The time loop is one of my ultimate favourite tropes. It’s dramatic, and ugly, and bittersweet, and weird! Taking the reader through each life and exploring their ever changing dynamic with Revali and the people around them came with its own set of challenges that I eventually had a lot of fun figuring out! Revali is also such a great character with so many hidden layers and potential to grow—like I just can’t get enough of him lol. This is help for people who want to comment on people's fics (or art!) but need help figuring out what to say/how to find what they want to say!

What should I tell a writer when I have no words?

• All writers have a different Style of writing, headcanons, and something we do that you love! What's the thing that keeps you coming back to Our writing in particular? Is it the way we write your fav character in the fic? Is it how you can relate to a certain thing? Maybe you love the inner thinking/monologuing that the pov of the character is doing?

Whatever it is? Tell us!!! My biggest thing for artists alike is to zone in on the thing they did in a piece that I LOVE and then running with it. A typical comment from me might be a staircase of things such as "The way you do facial expressions in every piece you do is absolutely Phenomenal! You can really feel the love and closeness these two have based just on the expression alone! Your colors you chose and experimented with ended up SO cool! Wonderfully done as always!"

Now lets unpack how to do this for writers! Pick the thing you loved, and FOCUS on it. Did you love how they wrote a Certain scene? Talk about that scene and Why you loved it!

Or did the whole fic just do it for you and you can't pick a fav scene? Hell, tell us that too!!!

Can't find the right words? Even just copy and pasting some sort of dialogue used or even a scene and then going like '<-This scene of xyz??? Lost my FUCKING mind over! This was my FAV bit!!!!!'

Telling a writer like 'hey I love your work! Can't wait to see more!' is all well and good and you'll probs get a 'o ty!' but if you want us to lose our shit? Be Specific on what drove you to love that specific fic!

I really want them to write more of this fic, should I tell them?

• Now I've talked to quite a few writers and we all seem to agree. If you Just leave a comment of 'Where's part two?' or 'Part two when?' we will never. Ever. Want to write a second part or continuation.

Want to let them know you'd love to see more? Follow the steps above and butter them tf up. Tell them every bit you loved about the fic- new or old. Every single thing that made you bananas and why. And then you can follow it up with a nice 'If you ever decide to make another part to this, count me the FUCK in!'

Will it guarantee another part? No! But you will probably be that bitch we think about if we ever continue it. I've had a few people I'll literally @ and be like 'okay bc i loved ur comment sm this part 2 is JUST for u bitch ilysm ty for inspiring me'. It happens! Sometimes it takes just a little bit of niceness :D

But like. It's like- let's say you baked someone a cake. They eat the Entire cake- NOT A SINGLE WORD SPOKEN ON IF THEY EVEN ENJOYED IT. No mmm's. No aaaa's. Nothing. And after finishing it all they turn to you and go 'Kay can I have a second cake now?'

Meanwhile if someone like moans and is complimenting your cake and how good it was and then goes 'Yo if you ever make another cake???? Let me know bc HOLY SHIT THAT WAS GOOD!' you'd have a totally new reaction of feeling appreciated!

Are keysmashes okay?

• Absolutely!! Honestly some of my fav comments I get are the ones going 'werioufheriufgh??? erougheriuheirfghaweklhjfn!?!?!?!! Dude holy shit I loved this' bc boy I GET IT! Sometimes the words fail you and all you can do is scream.

But also, don't be afraid to comment Multiple times on a fic either! Don't have the words Right Now? Not a prob! Keysmash and then a week later come back and be like 'Okay I know I commented already but I just HAD to read this again and HOLY SHIT' I promise you that feels Amazing when someone TELLS you how many times they came back!

Or! Do you want to make sure your comment is meaningful? Pop open your notes app or whatever you type on and re-read the fic beginning to end and write down Every Part that you loved so you can make sure to tell the writer What parts and What specifics you loved! Or even don't re-read and just on your first read have an app open so you can keep track :D

What do you personally love to hear on your fics?

• I put my heart and soul into every thought behind a character. Being autistic, I analyze characters with heightened vision and tear apart their character from top to bottom. Every headcanon, every dialogue, every written body language, every written inner monologue is analyzed Thoroughly to make sure they are in character as much as possible. With an explanation around it.

With that being said, people saying I write characters just how they imagine or accurately. Or even just telling me some line made you horny/gasp out loud or any sort of emotion? Make me Feral with joy.

Also wanna tell me you got wet/hard over a fic? Oh fuckin mama I eat that shit alive. I don't need a long comment to make my day, in fact I honestly LOVE tags where they're spaced apart thoughts all going to basically 'OMGGGGGG'. Or like 'the part where x did this thing??? I am SWEATING' makes me smile SO much! Just those Little things being said.

Now I'll tell you what, one of my favorite people to get a comment from? My mutual, and beloved mutual writer, Nix. She will comment on a fic from Beginning to End and point out specific scenes and then her feelings behind it. NOTHING makes you feel more appreciated for baring your mind and soul than her, on god.

Oh, so Eda literally just stumbles upon the portal? I could call that contrived, but honestly it's not dissimilar to how Dipper found Journal 3. For that matter, the entirety of Lord of the Rings is predicated on an accidental discovery like this and nobody gave Tolkien shit about it.

Was the eye on the portal cracked in previous episodes? I don't remember.

Seems like Gwen is the "well-meaning but ultimately misguided" flavor of mom.

As an aside, I am now quite curious about how Eda's first trip to the human realm went. Maybe a future episode will cover it? At any rate, I smell a new favorite fic prompt.

The screaming alarms in the Demon Realm will never not be funny to me.

Also, that is a worrying number of hearts. Eda is straight up murdering these poor creatures.

For some reason the gold fang being removable never occurred to me as a possibility, and now I feel like a kid who's discovered that Santa isn't real.

Ah, so the dismemberment is from the curse! A surprisingly useful side effect from what we've seen so far.

Can I just say that I appreciate how Eda's reaction to Lilith's first taste of transformation is immediate remedy, explanation, and reassurance? And doesn't make any snarky comments along the lines of "now you know what it's like?" Whatever happened in that week and a half must have been cathartic as hell.

THE WALTEN FILES: my jumbled notes on my blind run-in with this web series

first off this is gonna be long and unorganized, also this is my second time writing this as i had lost literally half of my progress and im This (imagine two fingers almost touching with a 0.0000000001mm distance between them) close to ripping all of the fucking hair out of my goddamn head. but now this will be extra long and yes, i will lose some accuracy to my first writing but thats okay ill probably edit this a kajillion times over

which brings me to my next tangent; im literally braindumping here. so to have a smidge of organization all afterthoughts, edits and corrections will be boldened, i forgot what im gonna do with italicized text but ill probably bolden it here yeah im pretty sure its for side tangents, separate from Corrections, which are in bold. also theyre for emphasis too.

so in general, this post right here is all of my notes i wrote down on my grid-patterned sticky notes (which i used WAYYYY too much of) about the first 3 uploaded walten files youtube videos transferred onto my handy dandy digital notebook, this b(l)og. yeppers peppers. you know im serious about this shit when i typed probably over like a thousand fucking words including boldened shit, italicized shit and motherfucking links, lost it ALL, and im sitting here re-typing it again.

i feel bad about this but im not gonna trigger warn right here, but this is technically a warning. if you want a list of triggers as to what this post (and the walten files in general) i will link a little list to that here

THE WALTEN FILES - VIDEO #1

clarifying this now, im gonna put some useless shit which i thought was code onto this because even though it was useless it was part of my notes and im physically going to combust if i dont put down every single thing i wrote on my papers. so what i thought was code was in the closed captions, i started writing it down when i got to the second video but came back to my first videos notes to include them. i wrote down the first letter to every word that was capitalized in the closed captions, which i had on as a default because number one i knew going into this id need them because most web horror things like args and cryptic shit like that has some of the most crucial shits in the closed captions. number two i am autistic and have auditory processing issues and have most closed captioning on as a default if theyre available.

i then jotted, in parenthesis of course, the names of the animatronics when they were listed in the animation section of the video; bon aka the blue bunny, sha aka the sheep one, boozoo aka the clown<3 honk<33, and banny aka the purpled eyelashed up one who is also a bunny btw. also i got boozoo the clown and boozoo the mustache guy confused because apparently the clowns name is billy???? but they named “boozoo” in bons sleepover and showed the clown? idk maybe im an idiot and theyre the same or just an idiot and theyre different or a super mega (matt and ryan?!?!??) idiot in general which is probably the case

i started drawing little stars to write down things i thought would be super important or to 100% look at again. the first subject of this pointy torture was the part of the video where at 3:00, i marked it down to make sure to reverse the audio as it was most definitely a weird audio that has that signature warp-y effect that makes sure you KNOW its in reverse. i then listened back to it Very carefully (still got it wrong) and got this: “you finally start to remember. that old doll. they will look out for you soon” im also pretty sure i heard “sophie” at the end of that audio but im not entirely sure and dont remember and i dont wanna go back to check lmfao but anyways it didnt matter because i was wrong anyway. after i had finished all 3 walten files i watched the film theory video on the walten files (which didnt cover all 3 but was dece.) out of curiosity and to hear matpats signature silly little voice explain some stuff i already knew, and click some shit in my brain that i couldve thought up of if i was a bit more... i dont know honestly. anyways yeah so the actual audio is “you finally start to remember. that old day. they will look out for you soon.” so yeah. day, not doll.

i then wrote down “sarah evelyn”, the name on the bons sleepover animation (i dont remember if she created it or animated it or whatnot) and scribbled will she matter? under her name. turns out no, as i didnt see her name in the rest of the series, let alone the first video. this is also a great time to mention how matpat theory helped me realize that the walten files are collections of videos, uploaded onto youtube by anthony. (i already knew about anthony as he signed his name in the descriptions of the youtube videos, making me categorize this overall web series more into an arg type genre.) but yes, the tapes, recorded “irl” footage, animated clips, vhs tape recordings and other audio-visual content is all collected and labeled the walten files, as i had mistaken each video to be a tape. stupid me. alrighty, onward!

i jotted down with an arrow that; sophie was a nightguard? she was wearing the uniform explained in tape 2 i dont know why but i went back into my video 1 notes after i had watched video 2. organization purposes. i guess.?? 

i then paused the video when the screen flickered a date, the beginning of video footage dated 10/10/1982 (Brian Stells?) god my little genius ass assuming the videographer was brian stells, based on the id card i saw earlier.

i then wrote down what text i saw on the dead, mangled, bloody body in the purple security suit; “i cant feel anything” “he thought i was her” then drew a little arrow pointing to; thought brian was sophie? or ashley? i also starred the name Brian Stells this is totally out of order LMFAOOOOOOOO also i wrote down ashley because, again, my little pea brain went back on my video 1 notes after watching video 2. but yep thats all i wrote for The Walten Files 1 - Company Introductory Tape

I MEAN MAYBE THEY DO AND IM JUST DOING IT WRONG but i stopped doing it after this video because holy shit it was exhausting and my stupid little fingers couldnt take the writing anymore becasue i am WEAK. 

so write off the bat (squeak) i wrote down 197[] the blacked out rectangle over the last digit of that year and everything im also now assuming its probably 1978 or 1974 because lore reasons but whos to say but yeah i also wrote down this;
