I’m so glad you said we can draw fanart of your writing, because guess what! I have fanart :D First I drew Raye (or at least how she looks in my head), but I didn’t know what the pin Foxglove gave her looks like so I made it a peach:

I am cackling at Foxglove the Autism Creature 🤣 He's perfect! You got his shit-eating grin right.

For the record, Raye's pendant is just blatantly Jareth's necklace in The Labyrinth, because I see that as the Goblin King's crest. But a peach or an apricot is also perfect, so imagine whatever you like! Likewise, Foxglove's hair is also pretty much like his father's, just longer and tied back in a messy ponytail... honestly, I can't believe, I've never actually mentioned that.

Ribbons being all cuddled up around his collar and she just goes rigid and Dusknoir stiffens up all over bc ‘what is she seeing is she seeing me oh no oh no oh nO—’ and then he has to explain if she tells him what she saw/heard (and what if she’s reluctant to tell him at first bc it confuses her so much and she doesn’t understand what it means bc that can’t be right, Dusknoir is so kind and gentle but since it upsets her so bad he coaxes her to open up about it and then his heart just sinks bc he’s having to come up with a lie or twist whatever it is she saw/heard into smth that isn’t incriminating)

And Aimilios just…getting bad vibes sometimes, so visceral that it stands his fur on end, but…that can’t be right, he’s just imagining things—Dusknoir has been nothing but genuine! He’s protected them!

But I can just imagine that after they reveal Ribbons’ identity (like above) that their gut feelings just get ten times more frequent and intense—they catch him gazing at them with an unreadable expression that makes their fur crawl, but once they speak and he realizes they’ve noticed he just laughs it off and apologizes for spacing out before going right back to normal and they’re left feeling lost, like they’re missing something—something important

…And I want to know what was running through Dusknoir’s mind in that moment. Obviously he’s pleased about finding Ribbons in order to complete his mission, but…is he also grieving it? Is he in shock? Is he, perhaps a tiny bit, regretting ever meeting them for the fact that ‘these are children—Ribbons is a child, and I was sent to bring her back to the future for execution—why did I allow myself to grow attached to anyone, least of all these two?’

Idk I’m just…😭😭😭😭😭this is the tipping point when everything starts to go wrong and I am fEELING IT FUJII
