OMG chapter 10??? I had my heart in my throat and then that cliffhanger.!?!? Imma need time to recovery…

But honestly i was filled with dread the entire time I was reading, couldn’t help but feel something not great was awaiting.

Reading from Zuko’s pov is an interesting one because damn I forgot how much self doubt he has. And how he remembered being burned. Standing up to his father, not realizing he slipped and let know that he has children!? Ahhh

ahhh the suspense! I love writing Zuko’s POV even though it always takes me the longest 🤨 he is very compelling to write because he is a character who famously makes mistakes (like yapping too much smfh. but we love him anyway)

now that he’s sorted his stance in the war and partially resolved his biggest intrapersonal conflict (the Fatherhood of it all - which I could go on and on about), it’s all about the interpersonal conflict babbbbyy!!!! the anvil over their heads is still there!!!!

Warnings: talk about sex 

The sun shone through the huge hotel window. Harry saw you sleeping peacefully beside him, your hand on his chest, he notices the ring he had given you all those months ago, the diamond shining brightly against the sunlight. He starts to get up and realised you both were sleeping naked, he feels his cheeks becoming a slight tinge of pink, a small grin forming on his face as he remembered the events of last night. He still couldn’t believe you both were finally married, that you were his forever, and he was yours. He gently pushes you away and gets out of bed, only to be pulled back again.

“Hmmmmm…babbbbyy where are you going?” you say groggily.

“We gotta get up darling, we’ve got a long day ahead”

“Ugh can’t we just stay in bed all day? And jeez how many times did we do it last night?”

“I think three”

“Four, if you count the shower”

“Five if you count the oral”

“I think we should stop counting”

“Yeah and alright if you want to stay in bed all day, there’s a spectacular beach and a beautiful ocean which we could see but if you-“

“Okay, okay we’ll go, Mr Holland,” you say rolling your eyes.

“I love you, Mrs Holland”

“And I love you,” you move closer to him and put your lips on his. He tasted like the beer from last night and you could smell both of your morning breaths but that did not stop you. You kept on kissing, rougher and rougher each moment, tongues touching and teeth clashing. His soft lips reminded you of every kiss you’ve ever shared, for the past four years, how you’ve grown and how far you’ve come.

“C’mon babe we gotta get ready,” you pull away. “I’m going to shower, okay? And you’re joining me”

“Yes ma’am”

 After a lot of procrastinating and lazily getting ready, you go to the beach. You looked absolutely beautiful in the soft breeze, your hair flowing gracefully and your eyes showing a shyness just like the first few months when you both were dating. There were a few couples, just like you strolling along on the beach holding hands. After a while Harry finds some sea shells along the shore and picks them up.

"These will look great with my sea shell collection," He says showing you a white shell.

"Didn't you sell of your collection?" You giggle.

"Not all of it. I must say, it was a great business though, for a seven year old, I made a whole five pounds with it"  

"Though your parents were sure embarrassed"

"They were," You laugh. "But it was hilarious."

"Look at that, my husband having a sea shell collection, that's so cute," You pinch his cheeks.

Hearing you calling him your husband seemed so overwhelming, just thinking how it was so true now. He clicks a few pictures of you in front of the ocean, you running towards and away from the sea, laughing and giggling, the sounds which were like music to his ears.

You go for a swim and Harry just couldn't help myself but stare at you when you stand in front of him in your red bikini. He had seen you so many times in that, he had seen you naked so many times, yet he could never get used to seeing your body. It was beautiful, you were beautiful. Your body wasn't perfect, you had scars and imperfections yet it was perfect.

"Not getting enough of staring, baby boy?" You says throwing your dress towards him.

"Why? Can't I stare at my wife?"

You both get into the water, it was warm because of the afternoon sun. You start splashing water towards him.

"Hey!"

"So this is how it's gonna be huh?" He swims towards you and he picks you up in bridal style.

"Put me down," You laugh. "Put me down, Harry!"

You fool around like that, laughing and splashing water at each other. You swim towards him and put your arms around his neck. He sets his hands on your back. His hair was wet and matted down to his head. His skin glistening amongst the sea water.

He picks you up and you wrap your legs around his waist and you kiss. Hid soft lips sliding against yours, your hands in his hair and his hands softly rubbing your back. Your bodies were so close to each other, you felt so safe and warm in each other's arms. You slowly gasp and pull away.

"I love you" You say.

"And I love you"

"Why?"

"What why?"

"Why do you love me?"

"Because….. You're so amazing and brave and smart. And daring and the way you love me, you're so beautiful and kind"

"Hmm ok"

"What? You're not going to tell me why you love me?"

"Oh it's pretty simple, I only love you for the photos you take"

"Ah so you married me for being your personal photographer?"

He start tickling your waist and playfully biting your neck.

You rest your head on the crook of his neck. Your hot breath on his shoulder and the sound of his heartbeat clear. It was overwhelming, a new chapter of your lives was beginning and you couldn't wait.

INT: Kris, a teenager, is quarantined in his house and has nothing to do other than chores, internet and video games. Mike, also a teenager, is in the same situation as Kris and he’s been online on instagram for over hours. Kris opened his instagram and he saw his best friend online.

Kris: (Chat) oy

Kris: (Chat) how’s quarantine?

Mike: (Chat) boring,

Kris: (Chat) how’s life?

Mike: (Chat) in quarantine

Kris: (Chat) wut u doin?

Mike: (Chat) nothin special,

Kris: (Chat) sure?

Mike: (Chat) yeah, pretty sure.

It took a minute of no reply from Mike. While Kris is looking through, with dead eyes from his ennui state, to his snapchat account. Then he saw Mike online on snapchat.

Kris: (Chat) well? Aren’t u gonna ask wat im doin?

Mike: (Chat) I already know wat u doin

Mike: (Chat) goin through instagram den 2 snapchat

Kris: (Chat) ok

Mike: (Chat) ok

It took another minute of no reply from Mike. Kris is still bored on his phone. He turned off his phone and played on his PC. Overwatch. Onced he played the game, he saw Mike online then chatted.

Kris: (Chat) wanna play?

Mike: (Chat) sure

Kris played for an hour with Mike beating every single game, always MVP. Then quited the game. His eyes are still dead.

Kris: (Chat) dis is getting boring

Mike: (Chat) yeah

Mike: (Chat) imma order somtin brb

Kris: (Chat) ok

Kris: (Chat) im hungry also

Mike ordered sushi from Kris ordered a Big Mac, large size Root Beer and a poutine from McDonalds. While he was waiting he went through his Instagram account.

Mike: (Chat) wat u getin?

Kris: (Chat) big mac and poutine, u?

Mike: I should’ve gotten some Mcdonalds instead.

Mike: (Chat) some sushi

Kris: Sushi, huh.

Mike: (Chat) oh yeah

Mike was dead bored that he didn’t even have the energy to hold his phone.

Mike: I don’t know what to do! I’m just so bored! I’m dying!

Mike’s brother: (Knocked on the wall) I can help with that!

Mike: Shut it dude! It’s already 2 pm! Your shift’s like 2:15!

Kris: Here, can you hear me now? 

Sophia: Yup, loud and clear.

Kris: So I just wanna ask you something.

Sophia: Sure, what is it?

Kris: (Hesitantly) Do you have super powers?

Mike: (Muted) Pfftt!! He actually asked!

Sophia: Well, I kinda do have one.

Kris: Whoah, really?!

Sophia: Yup, to know whether you still like me or not. (Chuckled) Something like that probably.

Kris immediately puts down his phone. He really genuinely thought she did have one but not this. While Mike was drinking water and spilled it.

Mike: Oh, shit. It went through my nose. Ah, man. I never thought Sophia would say some cheesy lines like that. I should’ve recorded this. 

Kris: Oh shoot, I forgot you were there!

Kris ended his call with Mike.

Sophia: Yup, you’re still in love with me! Knew it!

Kris: (Mumble) Crap, I didn’t know this side of hers existed.

Kris: Can you give me a few minutes? I’ll end the call.

Sophia: Yeah, sure. Bye~

Kris: Bye.

Mike: Oh look, he ended the call. Getting embarrassed for a second. I can use this moment against those 2 in the meantime. 

Mike: Imma give him a call again.

Kris: Dude, did you heard it?

Mike: Huh? What’s it?

Kris: Okay, (Sigh) it’s nothing. 

Mike: (Mumble) Oh, I totally heard that.

Mike: So, what she say?

Kris: Of course not. Is what she said.
