Happy birthday Harry and Sam!

It wasn’t another normal Tuesday, although it kind of felt like it. However it was not only valentine’s day but also your boyfriend Harry and his twin Sam’s 24th birthday. Harry was out of town as usual working with Tom so there wasn’t that much partying and celebrating besides facetime dinner with all of the Hollands, best friends and partners and maybe a facetime date with Harry later that night if you’ll be lucky. 

You wanted to visit him but your shitty boss didn’t give you your well deserved week off so the best you could do was a video call and forcing Tom into giving Harry the gift you bought for him months before. 

It really bugged you that you couldn’t be with Harry on such a special day but it was beyond your powers, so you decided to do anything you could to make his day at least enjoyable. 

You called him first thing in the morning with wishes and spent around two hours just talking and catching up on the last few days when you weren’t exactly able to talk that much because of Harry’s busy schedule. 

‘I really wish I could be there with you, I’m sorry I didn’t make it babe.’

‘It’s not your fault love, we’re gonna make it up when I'm back.’ 

His smile wasn’t the brightest but you still could see the sparkles in his eyes. It made you both happy and sad, you really missed your baby.

‘I really hope you’re gonna have fun with Tom today, and don’t forget about the facetime dinner with all of us, your mum and dad really look forward to it.’ 

‘Yeah, I remember, look I gotta go now, we’re gonna talk later right?’ 

‘Of course, have fun tonight. I love you.’ 

‘I know, I love you too. See you at dinner’

Before you could say anything the line went silent. Harry’s voice stayed with you for the whole day. Why did he say ‘see you at dinner’? Did he mean over the phone or was it just a misspoke? Either way you spent your day helping Nikki with the dinner and getting ready. Harry wasn’t going to be there but you still wanted to be dressed nicely for the occasion. 

Right before the dinner you heard a doorbell. Everyone stopped in their tracks because you haven’t expected anyone else besides Harrison and Grace and Sam’s girlfriend, Clark who were already at your place. 

You went to the door with the feeling it’s just your neighbor who needed to borrow some sugar. You opened the door and indeed saw your neighbor Milly. 

‘You need to borrow some more sugar?’ 

She looked embarrassed. The thing about her was that she baked when her anxiety was kicking in and always forgot to buy extra pack of sugar or any other sweetener. 

‘If you don’t mind’ 

‘No, of course not, let me just grab it real quick.’

You came to the kitchen and saw the hope in everyone’s eyes. You felt terrible to crush it. 

‘My neighbor needs some sugar.’ 

You saw the sadness filling the room. 

‘Hey, maybe try to call them already, I’ll be back in a minute.’

Sam took his phone out and you went towards the door. 

‘Here’s the su-’

‘Hi darling.’

And here outside of your door stood not only Milly but also Tom and your beloved boyfriend. 

‘OH MY GOD’

You flung towards him and hugged him tightly. 

‘You’re here, your family is going to be so happy. C’mon guys.’ 

You greeted Tom and rushed them into the living room. You heard happy screams and your heart swelled. He was home for his birthday with his family, it was all you wanted since the beginning. Your eyes filled with happy tears. 

You handed Milly the pack. 

‘Let me know if the cake turns out good.’

‘You got it. And have fun!’ 

When you entered the kitchen to finish cooking you sighed deeply. For some reason your mind went into panic mode. Your second present for Harry was still in your bottom drawer waiting for the right time but now the closer it got, the more nervous you were.

You heard footsteps and felt someone’s presence behind you. You turned around just to peek at whoever came in. 

‘Tom. Why aren’t you with your fam?’

‘Wanted to talk to you.’

‘Oh.’

‘Are you okay?’

‘Yeah, everything’s fine, I’m just slightly nervous about the dinner.’

‘I’m not talking about this. You know what I mean. When do you want to tell him? When it’s out there?’ 

‘Cut it, Holland. It’s none of your business.’ 

‘Of course it is. It’s my brother and you’re like a sister to me. I’m just looking after you all’

‘I’m not ready, okay? It's a big thing, I don’t want to throw it on him on his birthday especially now that he’s so stressed with work.’

‘Do you really think that you will find a better time? There’s not gonna be the perfect one. Just think about it.’

He squeezed your shoulder and came back to the living room. You finished at the kitchen and brought all of the food to the table. 

‘Come on, let’s eat.’ 

The dinner was really nice, talking, joking, telling stories about the twins when they were kids, catching up. You remained quiet most of the time enjoying the happiness of your loved ones. Yet the closer it’s been getting to the moment you stay alone with Harry, the more stressed you’ve become. 

Around midnight all of your guests started to head out. You bid your farewell and went back inside to clean up a mess after the dinner. After a few minutes you heard Harry entering the kitchen. You were doing the dishes when he came behind you and wrapped his hands around your tummy. 

‘Hi darling.’ 

‘Hi.’

‘C’mon. Let’s go to bed. It’s been a long day for both of us.’

‘I can’t, I need to clean this up.’ 

‘No no no no. WE can’t clean this up tomorrow after we spend our well deserved time together.’ 

‘Technically it’s already tomorrow, baby.’

‘Imma force you to come with me if you won’t do that voluntarily.’ 

He squeezed you harder and tried to lift you but you stopped him. 

‘Don’t do that.’ 

‘Why? What’s wrong?’

‘Nothing, just please don’t.’ 

‘Okay, love. Can we go to bed now?’ 

You nodded and followed him into your room. You both got ready to bed and got under the duvet. You were lying on your back and Harry was on his side playing with your hair. There were a few minutes of silence between you two when he spoke up. 

‘Is everything alright love? You’ve been quite distant today. Are you sure you’re okay?’ 

‘Yeah I just… I’ve got you a present.’ 

He smiled adorably at you. 

‘You know you didn’t have to, right?’ 

‘I do but you mean so much to me and deserve a world. Happy birthday and I love you.’ 

‘I love you too. C'mere.’ 

He sat you on his lap while opening the box. It was just a camera equipment you knew he wanted and you saw the pure adoration of his eyes when he looked up at you. 

‘Thank you, my love.’ 

He leaned in and kissed you gently but soon the kiss started to be way more passionate. His hands roamed around your body settling them on your waist under your (his) shirt. You pushed his lips out of your neck. He looked at you with concern. 

‘I’ve got something else for you.’ 

You reached for a small box in your drawer and handed it to him. 

‘What’s that?’ 

‘Just open it.’ 

He did as you told and opened the box. Inside was a positive pregnancy test. Your positive pregnancy test. His face was blank and you couldn’t read any emotions which made you even more nervous. 

‘Is this real or is this just a prank?’ 

‘It’s real.’ 

Silence. 

‘Look if you don’t want this you don’t have to stick around, I know it’s shitty timing but I figured you at least deserve to know.’ 

Silence. 

You were terrified. You’d rather prefer him to get mad and yell at you than the silence and uncertainty what next. 

‘Y/N’ 

You looked at him. 

‘I want this. With you. I love you and I’m not giving up on neither of you.’ 

Your eyes filled with tears. 

‘Hey, don’t cry, baby. It’s okay, come here.’ 

He held you close while you silently talked about your pregnancy. Some time after you both lied down. Harry spooned you and kept his hand on your still flat stomach. 

‘I’m scared Harry.’ 

‘I know. I’m scared too. But it’s okay, we’ll figure it out. Seriously, we’ll be fine. Get some sleep, sweetheart, it’s been one hell of a day huh?’

‘Yeah. Good night, baby.’ 

He kissed the back of your head. 

‘Night, love’

You had always been a ray of sunshine in his eyes, he had always loved that smile that dazzled the room, causing that little heat that warmed his heart. You were, in a way, his fantasy ... and you would remain his fantasy because you were his brother’s fiancée. He wouldn't talk about love, he wouldn't say he was in love, but he had a crush on you. When Harry announced that he had proposed to you, Paddy had been happier, as was his family. But for him, it meant you were going to be part of his life, forever. Of course you and Harry knew about this crush on you, you found it adorable and Harry sometimes used it as a subject to tease his younger brother. It wasn't a problem in itself because you had set the limits, you knew it would pass to him. You were a crush and Paddy was just so happy that his brother had found love in such an extraordinary person as you.

The surprise and happiness was even greater when you announced your pregnancy. Harry and you were young and once the surprise passed you received all the support you needed to get through this most exciting life event. You gave birth to a baby girl and remembered the Holland brothers' reaction. Paddy gazed in wonder at seeing such a small being, asking his mother if he had been as small as your daughter when he was born. Tom and Sam kindly made fun of your baby, stating that already when she was born, the little girl already had her father's mane. And it was true, you had never seen such a hairy baby. Of course, your daughter didn't have her father's curls yet, but she was hairy. Nikki had defended her son by announcing that Tom had a lot more hair than Harry when he was born and you stuck your tongue out at your brother-in-law.

 Being a young new mother took a little time to adapt and you were happy to be surrounded. Today you were visiting your in-laws, you had asked your fiancé to join you when he came back from the editing studio, since Harry was working on a new short again. You had apologized for a moment to change your daughter in the room Nikki had rearranged just for her granddaughter. The room had been redone to accommodate all the necessary equipment when she was babysitting this absolute little angel. Paddy asked you if he could help you and you took the opportunity for a pretty funny moment offering him to change your daughter's diaper.

 The younger Holland panicked a bit, he wanted to help you, he really wanted to, but handling such a small being was a little scary. Were you going to hate him if he hurt? What if he hurt his niece? He was terrified. But you have to put together all the heartwarming words to encourage him. So you were in the room where you had placed your daughter on the changing pad. You took off your baby's pants while chatting with her. Paddy cocked his head.

 "Why are you telling her everything you do?" he asked genuinely interested.

"I warn her, I communicate with her. You know, she's a baby but she understands a lot of things. But it's never pleasant when someone takes your pants off without warning you, you know? It’s the same thing for her. You warn her, you take away the anguish of the action. You explain to her that you are going to change her. Isn't it, darling? "

 You turned your head towards your little girl who was showing her good humor by waving her legs, causing you to laugh. Paddy nodded; glad he had learned something. While placing a securing hand on your daughter, you pulled Paddy into your seat with another hand. You have moved to the side in a reassuring manner.

 "You can take the bodysuit off her, then untie the diaper clips. Mentally prepare for the scent… Harry almost threw up the first time."

 You accompanied Paddy throughout the change. Step by step, laughing a little by certain reaction. You were there to reassure both your daughter and your brother-in-law. Harry, on the other hand, had come home early from work. He had climbed the stairs at his mother's instructions. Without a sound, he had leaned against the doorframe to admire you teaching his younger brother how to change a diaper. Your laughter flooded the room.

 "Wait Paddy, you put the diaper on her upside down."

"There's a front and a back in this thing? How do you see that?" he said amused and shocked at the same time

 You laughed again by showing him that the sticky tabs were still located at the back to fold them over the front of the diaper. Slowly but surely Paddy manages to change your daughter's diaper and when he was done you clapped looking at your baby.

 "Bravo! Isn't it; darling? We say “Bravo” Uncle Paddy!"

 You turned to Paddy, still oblivious to your fiancé's presence.

 "A true diaper change champion!" you joked.

 Harry loved seeing you interacting with his family, with your new little family. A perfect blend of his “past” life; his parents his brothers, and his “new” life; you and your daughter. You then suggested to your brother-in-law if he wanted to hold your daughter and put her back in the maxi-cozy. Once again, you have accompanied him in the action so that he holds her correctly against him. When you finally turned you noticed your fiancé's presence. You jumped slightly, one hand resting on Paddy's arms, protecting him and your baby. Harry smirked and walked over to you.

 "Hello my sunshine. Hi Paddy"

"Always a pleasure to see that I do not shine your day, bro!" he joked.

 You laughed and Paddy simply indicated to you that he was going back to the living room with your daughter and that he would ask his mother for help if he needed it. You nodded. Your fiancé took you directly in his arms and kissed you tenderly.

 "I love to see you act like a mom."

"I'm a mom, Harry." you made him notice, amused

"The best mom ever. My daughter's mom. The woman of my life."

 Your cheeks burned with emotion, chuckling at the romanticism dripping from the redhead. Harry kissed you on the top of your head.

 "I love you so much."

"I love you more, Baz"

 Harry stuck his tongue out at you and then looked back at the door where his brother had disappeared moments earlier.

 "I think Paddy doesn't love you like he used to ... I think he's starting to have a crush on his niece."

 You burst out laughing, slapping your boyfriend lightly on the chest. He loved teasing his younger brother.

 "I believe Paddy will be our little angel's favorite uncle." you said with a cute smile

"Shhh, don't say it too loudly. Sam's ears will whistle."

 You laughed again and then pushed on your toes to kiss the boy you loved so much. You couldn't have hoped for a better happy ending than being with this man and having a child with him.

"Sorry, haven't seen them since the last time I saw them." I said with a smile before taking a drink on my hot chocolate and looking down at my phone when I saw Steve got another word.

"And when was that?"Umbrigde asked confused.

"When was what?"I asked with mock confusion as I looked up at her.

"The last time you saw them of course."Umbrige said becoming slightly irritated.

"Saw who?" I asked innocently.

"Fred and George Weasley."Umbrige said firmly an I pretended to think about it for a moment. Like I didn't see them walk past me with Ron and Draco five minutes ago, carrying empty glitter containers and prank kits.

"Can't say those names ring any bells I'm afraid. However if you're looking for the Weasley twins they went that way." I mumbled looking down at my phone.

"Which way? Left or right?"Umbrigde asked frantically looking around.

"I don't know, that's what I'm asking you. Right or wrong? Up or down, you know? Do you think I'll grow more, I've recently become very insecure about my height. I feel like I'm not tall enough? But what if I'm too tall? I'm 5'9 but that could mean anything. Did you know brown cows don't make chocolate milk? Do you think the sky knows it's blue? Why do people have limbs? I'll tell you why, because of evaluation! Not to be confused with revolutions because those are bad. Speaking of revolutions, have you ever owned a unicorn? I've been thinking of starting a butterfly farm but I can't because I won't have time to take them for walks everyday. Do you think cats know that they're cat-" I asked rambling various nonsense questions with a look of concern painted on my face.

"That's enough! I'll find them myself!" Umbrigde yelled cutting me off.

Y/n was sitting in her room playing with her dolls, she had been playing for over an hour now. She picked out cute outfits for each doll, trying to find the best one for her most favourite one. She was very occupied, focusing on nothing but her toys. Well that was until she heard voices from downstairs. Normally she would ignore them and continue to play, however she heard a certain voice that made her sprint down the stairs.

Y/n’s little feet ran down the stairs, carful not to fall over whilst doing so. She knew that voice very well, it being from a person she grew very close with that no one had expected. “Hwrrison!” She shouted, the male being in her full view now as he took his coat off, hanging it up.

Harrison eyes moved over to the young holland that adored him the most. He bent down his arms opening wide. “Y/nnn!” He said in the exact same excited tone that she used.

Once she crashed into his arms he picked her up, spinning her around making the five year old giggle. Y/n cuddled into him, wrapping her tiny legs around his body. “I missed you” She said like she usually would. Y/n would always miss Harrison, she would ask about him all the time to Tom or the other brothers.

“I missed you to my favourite Holland” he placed her down on the floor so he could greet the others, but she wouldn’t let go.

“Oi I heard that!” Harry said walking into the room with Tom who followed behind him. “Y/n let go of him so I can say hi at least” Tom chuckles as his little sister let go of his best friend, him greeting with a bro hug. Tom always wondered when her obsession with Harrison had happened, he even wondered why. Ever since y/n could talk or walk she always went to Harrison loving him more than her actual brothers.

“Hwrrison, I went on my bike ywsterday!” Y/n happily said, jumping up and down.

“Did you?!” Harrison said excited.

“Yes and Tommy helped me to pedal, he taught me what to do” You smiled at Tom. “Wow, that’s so cool. You need to show me one day” Harrison said walking into the kitchen following Tom who pulled out two beers and a juice for y/n.

They both moved into the living room, starting a conversation up as y/n quickly ran up the stairs, coming back down with her favourite blanket. She saw Harrison sitting directly across from Tom, so she climbed up onto the same sofa as him and snuggled into him with her blanket.

“Don’t you wanna cuddle with me?” Tom asked, jealousy bubbling up inside him.

“No, I want Hwrrison” She adverted her eyes to the tv, watching the program that was left on from earlier.

Y/n and the boys stayed in their potions, Harrison’s arm around the girl letting her snuggle into him. This wasn’t new to Harrison, no, he actually fount it quite cute the way his best friends sister would act around him. The way she would always call him off Toms phone or the way she would kiss his cheek when she said goodbye or even when she would help him play fight with the boys.

“Harrison shut up you div” Sam laughed, slapping the boy on the arm. It was later on and the boys were still drinking, just talking about random things with light music in the background.

“Hey! Dwnt hit him!” Y/n snapped suddenly, feeling the need to protect him. She rubbed his arm, which didn’t hurt at all, glaring at Sam who looked at her with certain eyes. “You okay?” The five year old turned her gaze to Haz.

All the boys were too confused to speak. Y/n had always hated it when the boys would joke around with Harrison, being mean to him even though he didn’t mind it as he did it back. Harrison just nodded his head, “I’m fine don’t worry” He smiled at the girl who nodded her head.

“Someone protective” Tom chuckles as Y/n kisses where Sam hit Haz’s arm.

“More like someone has a crush” Harry joined in, laughing at his little sister. He knew it was more than just being obsessed with him, she had to have a crush on him no?

“Watch this, Harrison your so ugly!” Harry joked watching the girls face twitch. “Harrison actually stinks, ewww” Tom laughed and Harrison hid his laugh as the girl sprung up.

“No he not! Your so rude, mummy said you should never say that to anywne! Haz is not ugly, he pretty. And smwll nicely” The girl smelt Harrison, earning a small chuckle from him. Y/n stood up walking over to Harry and Tom. “Your ugly and you stink, not him” She said angrily.

Harrison smirked, “Yeah your ugly and stink” He stuck his tongue out copying the little girls actions. Y/n walked back over to Harrison sitting in his lap to hug him, she kissed his cheek twice before looking at him. “Your pretty Hwrrison” She honestly said.

Harrison kissed her cheek, “Aww, your pretty too y/n” This made the little girl blush, getting off Harrison and giggling, hiding her face in her blanket.

“Y/n has a crush on Harrison!” Sam cheered.

Y/n hid her face in her blanket more embarrassed. She never thought of Harrison like a brother she always liked him, she wouldn’t let anyone be rude to him. “Shut up” The young holland said still hiding her face.

“It’s okay y/n. Sam is just stinks like feet” Harrison laughed and so did she.

“Well Harrison doesn’t shower” Sam called taking a swing of his beer, regretting after as his younger sister got off the sofa mad.

“YES HE DOES!” Y/n shouts bolting to her brother to attack him.
