I saw the post about Lily Ebert and her MBE on TRF ig. Which got me thinking....

Charles did the foreward for Lily's book. He also was at the helm of the Holocaust portraits last year (about the last 7 Holocaust survivers in Britain). Then on Holocaust day it was the King again who led the tributes. So maybe, the reason we did not see Catherine reviving her Holocaust memorial photography project or rather, why we did not see he doing anything related again is because Charles took over the project from her.

Whether it's because if the popularity she got from it, or whether it's the optics and a generation/gravitas thing, it was decided that the King should be the face of anything tributes or projects related to Holocaust and that generation or survivers.

My point being, that maybe Catherine's workload and her appearances and projects arbt entirely her own decisions. The larger BRF is involved. Maybe the reason she isn't seen doing the regular " bread and butter" engagements is because it's a collective decision. And so she is now focused on her EY project which is entirely her own.

It is quite possible Catherine's visibilty is a collective decision; we really don't know. However, I don't think KC has claimed the right to all Holocaust projects because I think that's a memorial/subject matter that benefits from all royals who want to be involved. 💕

My guess is, like Hold Still, last year's photography project was just a one-time event and with C's EY project about to kick off, her focus was working on its final touches.

Unlike a lot of people here (maybe all, IDK) I dont think The King cares as much about the headlines as he did once upon a time. He's not the same man who was so jealous of Diana's popularity or who wanted so badly for Camilla to be loved. Having her beside him has changed him so much, for the better. 💖 He's content, he's relaxed, and he's able to laugh at himself.

I also think his better relationship with, and love for, William, Catherine and the kids have mellowed him out. I just dont see him intentionally trying to hurt them by leaking bad press or throwing them under the bus and here're a few reasons why I think he hasn't: (1) Catherine wouldn't have worn the gold dress to the James Bond premiere if he was worried abt her getting headlines instead of him; (2) William never would've asked Louis if he wanted to sit with KC at the pageant; and (3) in Rebecca English's article where someone from CH said W's statement wasn't helpful, the person clarified - and Rebecca stated it a second time - that KC wasn't upset at W and understood why he'd said something.

Sorry for this long-winded answer just to say I think KC accepts The Wales' popularity and actually appreciates it. Thanks to his other son, he knows what the alternative could be. 😉 In the end, he may not be the most popular member of the family, but it doesnt matter, he's the King. 👑 😊

Hindsight - I have a lovehate for this piece. Everyone who sees it loves it instantly. Every time I see it, I hate it. I can’t explain why, but this piece makes me incredibly frustrated. Beyond that, I want to point out my original intention for this piece. If you were to rotate it counterclockwise so that the cool colors are on the bottom of the page, you may or may not notice something. The piece has some resemblance to a sunset or sunrise. This was my intention for it. The circular wedges represent the rays of sun and their reflection across the ocean. The swirls in the cool section represent the roiling, twisting, writhing ocean. And the attempted square, blocky warm section (which wasn’t nearly as squared off or blocky as intended) represents the afternoon sky, with the burning heat shining down. Sadly the bullet tips of my markers aren’t in the best of condition, and so, they and I failed to properly capture the straight edges and sharp corners intended.

About god 🤔 (christian) witchcraft (entirely magic,excluding to use of herbs and crystals and such, and the paranormal

Firstly, what REAL proof do they have of god existing? Magic being real? And ghosts roaming the halls? There are churches, where people pray, worship and serve a god, majority of the people own a bible that is outdated and some things in the bible, don't make sense anymore.. (Some laws) but, (I'm bringing science into this.) Science mentions "the big bang" where an astroid or whatever hit the earth, which had some sort of forms of life on it? (Not entirely sure exactly what they thought) And yeah. But, a certain christian girl who I heard preach said. "The big bang" happened, but it was god. "Bang, humans, bang, life, bang" whatever else. (Bang means adding life and shit, idk lol) I'll get back to this later on after the witchcraft talk. Witchcraft is defiantly something different, now I'm not talking about those people (who are identified as witches/wiccans/pagans or whatever else) whom use herbs and crystals and the moon for things, I'm talking about the people who use "real" MAGIC. Spells, sorcery, necromancy. If it real though? Can you really control elements? And your really cast spells? And you really summon a demon? I've seen videos of people being possessed, but they end up turning into a joke. Paranormal? You hear things, and your brain starts thinking. For example, if your friend tells you about a band they like, your brain remembers it, and for some reason, you start seeing the bands name around, you notice people wearing the band shirt and such. Now, you read things about spirits and ghosts, watch kids about encounters. Your brain remembers it and you might start to get paranoid (even if you don't realize it) and you'll probs start seeing things. I remember talking to someone online about spirits and we told me about the whole 3:00am thing and that the gateways to the underworld opened up for a whole minute to free spirits and demons. I was talking to him around that time and the moment it turned 3am I looked back and I swore to god my cupboard lit up inside, (it was open a little and I could see my clothes perfectly even though its usually dark in there.) I stared at it the whole minute, and once that minute passed it went dark again. At that point I was petrified for a while and even told the person I had to go, I had absolute no sleep that night and I constantly checked the time to make sure I went to bed before 3am for an entire month. Scary shit.! Now... A few things about Christians I noticed (by talking about god with my christian mother and a few others) Most Christians will accept the fact god may not be real but that's a risk they'll be willing to take, of course you don't want to RISK going to hell?! All you have to do is go to church and worship, easy (I know there's more to church than that, lol) but when you ask some people (for example my mother and the few others) a question about god, the answer would be "god works in mysterious ways" and/or in an angry tone (my mother xD) "DONT YOU DARE QUESTION GOD LIKE THAT!" even if you question is as simple as "how does god exist? " (apparently he just DOES! just, poof! Here I am! Now let's throw some people on this round ball in the middle of space and watch them slowly destroy it. Yaaay!) Another question that might leave a christian wandering is. "People are destroying this world, why did got allow us to become this smart? He could easily stop it" or "satan was just angel, and apparently god is stronger than him, why can't god just stop sin?" I haven't gotten into wiccans or do I know many, so I don't really know much about it. But something I can tell you. majority of witches,wiccans/pagans DO NOT WORSHIP SATAN! jeez ! Some have their own religion, don't know the exact name? Not going to guess it BC I might be entirely wrong xD! And some are just into it BC They like living that way o(^▽^)o ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ And lastly, paranormal. Like I said, probably in your head, see something move in the corner of your eye? I get that all of the time! You honestly look away from something and when you look back its moved so obviously your mind can't be playing tricks? Same... But... I don't know how to try and explain that. XD Think your house is haunted and you see dead people running around, think to yourself. "I MIGHT be dreaming!" But anyway... What do you guys think about the christian god, witchcraft and the paranormal? I personaly do not believe in a god, but I half believe witchcraft and paranormal could be real.
