I'm meticulously recreating the 1996 season of the BPR Global GT Series and a "fictional" version of the 1996 North American Touring Car Championship in GTR 2. The latter of which is just a "what if" scenario that places every registered driver that season in every race. The NATCC was more or less a supporting series for the CART '96 season albeit for 2 events and never took off in popularity like its overseas counterparts (BTCC, STCC, etc.). Might record it and post it to my derelict youtube channel.

GTR 2 is such a gem of a game. Sure it doesn't look particularly great. It's nearly 20 years old atp but there's just something about SimBin (now KW Studios who made Raceroom) that feels unique. The AI, game features, audio, and force-feedback just work together so well. It's an easy reccommend for me especially for people wanting to get into sim racing. It's dirt cheap and has some of the best mods I've seen. From FRM's Touring Car mods, to historic VLN fields, DRM Revival, and of course Power and Glory which is a whole other thing.
