Look I got bored so I decided to make this shit. (Sorry if it's bad, I'm not use to Gege's style)

Piglin

Hog-folk of the infernal nether. They’re in a post-apocalyptic state now, but they were once the most advanced civilization in Minecraft, even trumping the Ancient Builders. They use machines instead of magic.

Sows are slightly larger and fatter than males, with smaller tusks. Boars are more muscular, with bony faces and coarse black manes. Boars often adorn themselves with jewelry, body paint, and the like, to woo sows, and bachelors marry into groups run by old matriarchs. Sows of high rank in bastions usually have a harem of males serving both as concubines and bodyguards. Piglin are for the most part polyamorous.

They communicate in Piglish, a mixture of signing and vocalisations. Complex sentences are signed, and sounds are used as emotive context clues, like auditory tone tags.

i fully redid/redesigned the slugcats in my rw anthro au, this took way too long

one day ill have to like properly do a comic or maybe an ask blog for these goobers

the ones with significantly lore/story changes are surv and monk which ill try to summarize a bit below this cut

surv and monk are from a different smaller colony/family than gourmands and only really passed by gourmands colony while they were migrating

surv and monk are generally teenagers when they get separated and lost at some point during this migration and spend most of their teenage years in the wilderness

eventually they find each other and also join up with gourmands colony after yknow finding outer expanse which when gourmand gives surv his title survivor for his pretty crazy feat of survival

in gourmands colony the two are almost treated like heros/celebrities, especially amongst the kids and ESPECIALLY surv

surv feel undeserving of this treatment and is very socially anxious and maladjusted to social living which leads to him appearing either very stoic and collected or just weird

surv is only ever really socially active with his older sister monk and hunter who he connected with much faster with than anyone else (besides monk) due to similar stoic dispositions

surv is a mess lol

monk has handled this much better as she was able to join a scav colony for a period of time (until a certain red slugcat passed by) so shes way more socially adjusted plus shes also older by like give or take 4 to 7 years

she just chills at the outer expanse gardens/farms for the most part and tries to help hunter with their rot in ways they can

if i were to do an ask blog i would either center it around arti, hunter, and saint or surv and monk since those groups have the most story rn

- spearmaster is either suns's child or just looks up to them as a parental figure. either way it love them a lot

- artificer is the biological mother of her pups, which are both around 3 years old. who's the other parent? idk yet! not gourmand (she's a good to-be step mom tho :)) also their names are so creative ik!! /j

- artificer was disowned by her family (scavengers(she's adopted btw)) for reasons idk yet. i wanted her pups to be alive so i’m not entirely sure how to go about her story yet.

- also she got her scar from a house fire that left her homeless for a while (poor girl is going through it).

- gourmand is monk, surv, and wanderer's cousin

- rivulet and saint are super close best friends in my hc. they have matching bracelets :^)

- i desperately want to redo rivulets ref sheet because i was NOT feeling motivated that day and definitely could've done better but i’m too lazy to redo it rn so they stay ugly for the foreseeable future i’m so sorry ruffles

- same for enot but i care less about them than i do rivulet (being ugly suits them)

- hunter and spearmaster are close friends, mostly because their parents* are friends

- saint is a guy (i forgot to add that on the ref mb)

- enot is ugly on purpose. he probably gets dressed with his eyes shut. also i forgot to add their egg.. just pretend its on the headphones or something

- looking back on this i should've made enot much taller but i forgot somehow??? she should be like. 6'4 / 6'5 based on how i draw them in slugcat form

- one sided godmode real

* "parents" cause like i said i’m not sure if they're actually related or what yet. i might do the iterators in this au someday so if i do i'll hopefully have made up my mind by then. :)
