current obsession: oh god. can i admit that, despite never having given a single shit about the british royal family, i'm genuinely obsessed with this missing kate middleton thing. it's pure concentrated schadenfreude to see how spectacularly the royal PR is fucking it at every possible opportunity. they've reached like bialystock and bloom levels of backfiring

When was the last time you cried? The other day discussing my future.

Do you have kids? No, but I really want to some day!

What are your hobbies? Watercolour painting, making bracelets and reading.

i think my blind date exr fic has the least hits out of all my fics so i'm gonna say that one! that fic and i actually have a very complicated history but i do love it still <3

this is a much more difficult question than it should be but i refuse to second-guess myself. exr first kiss to bastille's (i just) died in your arms.

🤩 What's the most meaningful comment you've ever received?

it's very hard to narrow this down to one single comment, especially because i've had so many really insightful, kind, and just altogether lovely comments on deep end. i think if i really had to pick, i would say one of the comments from an anonymous commenter called 'leo' on the early chapters of deep end! they haven't commented in over a month but their comments genuinely made me so happy and provided me with a lot of encouragement in the early stages of posting, and i can't thank them enough. really though i love all comments, the fact of someone taking time to write something about my writing just makes me want to cry <333

4. How many WIPs do you have right now?

answered here! for the record though i am an absolute liar and if i was actually counting all documents it would be. a very different number.

8. What project(s) are you currently working on?

honestly right now deep end is the only thing i'm working on! i have gotten to the point where it is the only project i can really think about so all my other WIPs are taking a little break. the ones i bothered to count earlier though were: warmies fic, pasta shapes fic, untitled fic #2, AITA au, and roommates fic!

9. Do you write every day? If you wrote today, share a sentence of what you’ve written!

i don't write every day but i try to! i have only written a little bit today so far (hopefully will get further tonight) but here is some of the like 200 words i've gotten out today:

Enjolras stands close, their shoulders only just brushing. He stares at the sculpture as well, intense, and Grantaire has the distinct feeling that they’re both only looking through it to each other.

10. Is there a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

i don't really think so! the only thing that really comes to mind is i was surprised how many people came back to c&b proposal fic when i finally finished it like 2-3 years later. i sort of figured nobody would care but i got a really positive response so that was nice, i'm glad people still cared :)

20. What’s a favorite title for a fic you’ve written?

if i could write you a song to make you fall in love (i would already have you up under my arm) because i only titled it that to make coco laugh and it worked. and now i forever get to refer to it as 'cooler than me fic' which is very fun to me personally

sometimes but not as much as i should honestly! i have commented on a few of my favorites but i need to go back and comment on more honestly <3

suckerpunch by @television-bodies — my all-time favorite. absolutely stellar characterization. i reread this at least once a week genuinely. everything a modern au should be and more <3

so willing to care for you by serinesaccade — coco sent me this one a couple days ago and it made me laugh a lot! such a fun concept

what's the problem, baby? by putorious — quite possibly the funniest fic i have ever read. i break out "are you picking up your antidepressants?" wayyyyy more than i should tbh

love is a requiem by wispie — some of the most beautiful writing i've ever read. "The knife that stabs has touched you deeper than anything else." lives in my head rent free forever and ever like actually

monkey see, monkey by anonymous — always makes me laugh. marius pontmercy i love u so so bad.

epiphany by abidatchery — amazing characterization and beautiful writing!!!

22. Are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc)

um i don't write smut because i'm too scared to try honestly. i don't like writing in past tense either, i switched to present tense a couple years ago and enjoy it a lot more. otherwise i would say i'm amenable to most tropes and stuff if i have a good idea!

116,305 words! however i am afraid this one might end up dethroned...
