Character Profile (Music Edition): Izanami Kazarishi

For many of us, music is a source of inspiration for our characters, so I want to know what songs inspire and/relate to your muse! Choose between 10-15 songs, compile them into an album and tag some friends to share the beat! 1. Save Me - Mahut Orhan The first few lines of this resonate with Izanami the best. She’s been fighting through her life through the hardships she has endured and the things she’s witnessed. Even with making it through, she couldn’t help but wish someone would come and save her, and take her away from this life to a better one. 2. Where We Started - Lost Sky ft. Jex Izanami thinks about the past a lot. She misses it and wishes she could go back before she lost her mother to a time when things were simpler, things were hard but those were some of those best times to her. 3. Undo - Sanna Nielsen Going with the Where We Started, “ Silent, I can't wait here silent. Working up a storm inside my head. Nothing, I just stood for nothing “ She wants to go back and undo everything that lead to some unwanted choices shes had to make.  4. Diamond Heart - Alan Walker Diamond Heart is for when Izanami thought she might have been cursed. Several of her past relationships have ended in her significant other in death. And she decided she wasn’t going to open up, but if she could, she wished she had a heart of stone. 5. Legendary Lovers - Katy Perry This one is actually for Izanami’s parents. The stories that Izanami’s mother told her about her father when they first met made this girl the hopeless romantic she is.  6. Crossroad - AU5 ft Danyka Nadeau She has come to realize that sometimes your life is at a crossroads. You will go on one path, and the people you want to be on your path with you, are headed in the other direction. 7. Ascendance - Lindsey Stirling This song was the first song I thought of when I was writing Iza’s bio two years ago. It speaks about rising higher, going through challenges. 8. The River - Axel Johansson This one is about her wish to stay still, have nothing change, because she’s actually a very content and happy woman with where she is right now between her husband and her newborn son. 9. Miracles -  Axel Johansson ft. Tina Stachowiak/ Izanami chooses to look for the good and trust that even with the bleakest of outlooks that miracles are possible. Because stranger things have happened. 10. Little Me - Little Mix I think a lot of people can agree with this one, not just Iza. But, she wishes she could go back and tell herself to be stronger, tell herself not to be so afraid and assert herself more. 11. Calm Down - Krewella She has a temper and is an extraordinarily powerful aether weaver. (Mainly because RNG seems to like me) She is able to defend herself when she needs to. 12. For a Better Day - Avicii Things are bad in the past but, as long as you keep your head up, it’ll get better. 13. Euophria - LOREEN Izanami lives for the best moments and she loves it when shes high on excitement and having fun. She wants these moments to last as long as they can.  14. Kick Up Your Heels -  Jessica Mauboy ft Pitbull Members of her staff and organization have a tendency to call Izanami uptight and strict to tradition. But she knows how to let her hair down and have fun. This is kinda sorta late? It had been a long, complicated and sad day for Leilany. Her little sister had passed away just a week prior, in her arms. It was still hard for her to wake up in that house and not expect her little sister to come running into the kitchen after being woken up and giving her a big hug like she always had. Though Isla hadn't been little for a few years now, she was only a few years younger than Leilany. So she hadn't exactly been little; but to Leilany she would always be her little sister. Isla was a happy girl, loving, caring and a lot like her older sister; according to their parents anyways -- Isla was Leilany's little mini me. Leila had met Cami before; they'd talked several times but never really hung out... but to her, Cami seemed like someone she could become very good friends with. Though she knew that the girl was working that day; she'd hoped that afterwards, it would be okay if they hung out; Leilany didn't have many friends.... she had lost quite a few of them when she moved. They just seemed to move on without her and become friends with other people and just slowly let her go. Thinking about it, having been crying for the past couple of hours, she needed something to eat and something to drink.... maybe a coffee? she wasn't sure. The sadness had taken over her that day and she also needed to get out of the house. Heading down to where she knew the girl worked, Leilany made her way in once she got there and settled into her usual booth in the corner. Spotting Cami she waved to her with a soft smile (trying to mask the sad, but knowing it wouldn't work). Hopefully she'd come over at some point when she had the chance, and they could talk for a bit.
