Legendary Steadiest Feet

Pairing: McKirk x Reader

Warnings: suggestive content (butt touching)

A/N: For @musikat18‘s birthday challenge!

Word Count: 594

Prompt: Ice Rink

You stood a few feet off the rail trying to coax Leonard towards you. He was pretty annoyed when Jim insisted that the three of you try out Yorktown’s new ice-skating rink and only came along at the promise of Jim doing “that thing” he likes and you baking him a fresh peach pie (he was so sick of “that damn replicator crap”).

“Darlin’, I told you. I’m no good at this,” he insisted, “go on and skate with Jim.” Leonard nodded to where the captain was showing off by back skating circles in the middle of the rink.

You pushed off the toe that was holding you in place and glided over to rest your elbow next to Leonard. “I don’t think could keep up with him, to be honest.” You admired Jim for a moment before turning back to Leonard and offering your hand. “C’mon, I’ll hold your hand,” you teased.

He took your hand skeptically, and you gently pulled him off the wall. “Just slide your feet like this,” you said as you demonstrated. The two of you were slow going until Leonard managed to find a rhythm.

You managed to make halfway up the side of the rink when Jim skated over and took your other hand.

“Hey, sunshine,” he said leaning in to kiss your cheek, “moonlight,” he greeted Leonard as well reaching over to pinch his cheek, “glad you could join us.”

Len barely managed to suppress his smirk at the nickname and jerked his head away from Jim’s hand. As he did, it caused him to miss a step and stumble into you.

You reacted as quickly as you could, wrapping your arms around Leonard’s waist to steady him. His weight was more that you expected, though, and it caused you to buckle back as well.

It was Jim’s turn to catch you. He slipped his arms around your waist to steady you and inadvertently sandwiched you between him and Leonard. “C’mon Bones,” he huffed as he steadied the three of you, “what happened to those legendary steadiest feet of yours?”

“Hands, Jim,” Len corrected, grabbing onto you to keep himself upright. “Legendary steadiest hands. Not my damn feet.”

You huff out a laugh as you feel Leonard take advantage of the position by sliding his hands down to your rear.

“Somethin’ funny, darlin’?” he asked giving it a light squeeze that made you inhale sharply.

Jim leaned his head down to your ear. “You like the preview of where we’re gonna have you later?”

You flush and arch instinctively at Jim’s promises. After a moment you shake your head, remembering where you are. You gently nudge the boys off of you and smooth your skirt.

“You can show me later, boys,” you assert planting a quick kiss of each of their cheeks, “I’m a little busy at the moment.” You skate off, looking back just long enough to flash a wink and enjoy their flustered smirks.

Jim took off after you with Leonard stumbling behind him. He caught up to you quickly, but Len took a second longer and popped up huffing and hanging onto the rail. Jim grabbed your hand and tugged you towards the nearest gate.

“C’mon, I wanna get out of here. Now.”

“Please, sugar,” Len said grabbing onto Jim to steady himself, “I gotta get outta these damn skates,” he looked you up and down breathing heavy, “and you outta that skirt.”

You blush heavily and bite your lip. “Anything for my boys,” you say as they drag you off the ice.
