makes sense that this is my nr. 7! i listened to this a lot, but not as much as other songs. not on crazy repeat. i feel like it'd lose it's effect would i do that

12. song in my top 100:

a song i rarely search for specifically, but it's is in three of my playlists that i cycle through on regular rotation, including the TYK and the ZZS playlist. i really like it but i'm surprised it's so high up on the list. in my top 20??? really?????? hmmm. might be because it's similar to nightwish, and i like to put nightwish songs on shuffle radio or whatever it's called. surprise songs pft

33. song in my top 100:

okay so i know for a fact this is only here because of the shuffle option. this song is in one of my playlists, i think?? but, like, i don't remember i ever made an effort to listen to it individually. just from briefly listening into it now i'm already annoyed. apparently, when listening on shuffle to artists like phildel, this is the only other song available (rolling my eyes until they fall out of my head and into a crack in the floor where the monster under my bed eats them)

I listen to a lot of old songs becuase im old (and refuse to use spotify haah) but hopefully you guys will find something you'll like (if you decide to look up the songs). These are some of my most listened to songs this year.

T- The one that you love - LP

What a voice! It has inspired a lot of angsty fanart this past year.

E - Expire - Screaming females

My favourite song of them is "Leave it all up to me" but this was the first song I heard from them so it's special in that way.

This album that this song is from is one of the best things I have ever heard. I love it to bits.

I love the lyrics and the chorus! It made it's way to my playlist after finishing season 2 of Good Omens.

N - New Slang - The Shins

A song that reminds me of an old friend.

D - Den fulaste flickan i världen - Håkan Hellström

One of my comfort songs.

B - Bogus Operandi - The Hives

I loved this band as a tween/teen and i still love them now as a 30 yr old. Hopefully I'll get to see them live this summer!

E- End of a Century - Blur

I saw them live this past summer, It was great!

E- Even flow - Pearl Jam

One of my favourites to listen to while working.

S - Somebody to Love - Queen

I already loved the song but Good Omens made me love it MORE.

IT WASN’T

I’m gonna take advantage of Spotify dropping the Playlist in a bottle thing today and use those songs. I couldn’t choose by myself so here we go!

1. A song I needed to hear live:

Needless to say I didn’t get to listen to it live… Manifesting this will become true next year 🙌🏼

2. A song that reminded me of my favorite person:

I really like this song. It has a nostalgic yet kinda weird upsetting but in a good way (?) feeling to it. Just like my fave person I guess… lol

3. A song I was going to kiss someone to:

Hahaha… crazy. I’m not really sure why did I choose this one but can you blame me? Is Jeff Satur’s masterpiece if you ask me. It might also be because by that time I had an idea for a fic inspired by this song. Sadly, I didn't get to write the fic nor did I get to kiss anyone :(

4. A song I thought should be here just because:

Well, there's no particular reason for this song to be here, as you can see. But thinking about it now. This song gives me so much energy, I can't help but sing it out loud every time it plays.

5. A song I thought was going to be a classic by 2024

Again. Not sure why I picked this one. It could’ve been any song honestly. I guess I was stuck with this one back then. (Too much edits on Instagram!)

1 (song of the year) im gonna have to say. it is probably an alex g song because i tried to listen to All of that this yearish i think. "change" is awesome we know this. "waiting for you" is also a good one (instrumental, also.) "my arms" "hope" "mission" "runner" "you are great" "gnaw" Theyre really good ok I WOULD SAY more if i could. if there was an artist of the year thing We know. but to disassociate from myself i ALSO listened to of montreal like later this year. so we're going to say this is year of the "change" by alex g SORRY i cant lie.

um. so song of the year as in "came out htis year." Ok. shoe making music was pretty funny i didnt expect that. so. that's really the only one that comes to mind so it wins by default. WHAT SONG specifically? i choose "mostly." Its funny to me

8 (song of the year) IS REALLY HARD. Ok. TURNS OUT i have played pikmin 4 and lethal company. these are the only games that come to mind that are From This Year. theoretically i'd have to say pikmin 4 but RIGHT NOW as we are speaking LETHAL COMPANY is so funny. zeekerss is cool LETHAL COMPANY SWEEP

BUT. IF WE ARE TALKING game of the year generally. i know the steam game i played the most was the binding of isaac but im not sure if its the one i enjoyed the most. i really liked playing rainworld ITS REALLY FUN when youre not in the water or chained to a lizard who Sucks (said in a nice way.) i also played rhythm heaven megamix a lot. at the end of Last school year i beat it while other guys were testing which is pretty funny. but due to this being awesomenauts + manyland's last year (maybeee..?) I HAVE to give it to them. we'll miss you SO MUCH :(
