Well, I suppose…I did say I wanted to see a New York sewer gator as a joke.*

“Yay! C’mon Pixie, let’s go take a picture in the kaleidoscope with our new friend!”

The Museum of Illusions was neat, but I don’t think it was worth what they were charging to get in kind of neat. There’s two levels to it, but each level is quite small. I was kinda hoping to see a Pepper’s Ghost display as that’s one of my favorite illusions, but alas, there was none.

Also, this👇

is not a mirror maze. It’s a room with mirrors that you can shut yourself in for the mirror maze effect.

As a whole, it’s an interesting place, but it feels like it’s mostly built for the ‘gram. Lots of photo and video opportunities, but I don’t think you’d be missing out on much if you skipped it.

*Disclaimer: No, I didn’t take someone’s lost toy, I actually bought this little fella at a gas station on our way to the airport before the trip. He looked cute and I did jokingly tell my sister that this was the only way I’d see a gator in New York. His name is Leatherhead, my sister named him.
