Tension housed in Wayne's jaw gives off a twitch so powerful and palpable that it is a wonder none of her molars crack. But she figured Strange had worked his magic on that too.

Holding on a little longer she eventually pulled back, but not away. "Good I'm glad your back. It's not been the same without you and god Bucky will be thrilled to see you, Sam too. And I have so much to catch you up on and..." A pause. "I'm sorry that's a lot at once. I just... I'm glad you're back."

Bucky frowned looking at the door. The weapon of choice in his hand as he got up nodded towards his cat to follow. The Pure White cat followed him happily as he stood in front of the door. "Alright Alphine, I'll go for stomach you go for the face deal" he asked raised eyebrow. Alphine meowed .

A tense breath infiltrates Peg's lungs slowly. Adrenaline begins to slowly climb up her spine as she casts a skeptical but firm glance over towards the door. "Is there any reason in particular?" Maple orbs then shift over Bucky. "Sergeant Barnes-- might I inquire as to WHAT, in particular, lies behind that door you so desperately do not wish me to open?"

"Keep an eye on the door, but whatever you do, don't open it"

She smiles, taking Agatha's hand in hers and bringing it to her lips for a soft kiss.

"I know. But I was in the neighboorhood... You know I like to free roam sometimes." She winks. "How have you been, my love?" She rubs her thumb on Agatha's wrist in a soothing motion as usual.

Truthfully Maggie should be used to surprises by now. Ever since she'd started using her powers more openly, her life had definitely not stopped with the surprises. But when a portal appeared in her living room she was caught by her biggest surprise yet.

"Grandpa?" Maggie was stunned for a moment, before stumbling forward and hugging him. God she'd missed him. "What's going on? How are you here?"

Starter for @c0mplex-heroes  Steve nearly tripped into out of the portal. he wouldn't leave his dauhgter. He refused. A grin on his face as he spots her. "Maggie" he calls out warmly.

Brooding eyes linger discernably upon the Doctor as laughter erupts from her. The humor, however, escapes the menace known as the Bat. Perplexion pinches her brows together over the brim of her nose. Nothing about their precarious situation felt humorous; at least, not from where Wayne was standing.

The Bat does SMIRK at the woman's next comment. "Good because we don't need a hero. We just need to utilize an unorthodox plan. How do you feel about pulling the wounded stunt? One of us pretends to be hurt to draw a guard over?"

Her eyes shift towards the woman "spider boy?' Her brow archs in amusement. Of course, with Wayne's rampant imagination, she is picturing a boy with eight spindly legs. Not that it mattered much in this moment. "Where do they get these kids?" She questions, pulling a Batarang out of the heel of her boot. "Perhaps this will be of assistance?"

There was laugh almost madding. She didn't lose her mind yet. Yet here she was, stuck with other.. " Suppose so, they took my gear too, if you wanted to know" She crossed her arms annoyed look on her face.

" And I'm not waiting for hero to come save us, had enough of that spider boy" . She stands up with sigh. She's looking around, as if she hasn't done this for hours. The Golbin, paused at the bars focusing as she pulls on them. They didn't know all about her.. so maybe there was a chance.
