Aalto squinted at his laptop again, once more, and once again- Yup, definitely a job he'd need help with! Not that he was bad at said job or anything, gathering intel, being sneaky, befriending the right people- He could easily do all that! Beating people up? That too! But, this time, he'd need some back-up, someone who looked scary enough to act as a bodyguard of some kind, Aalto had a role to play and it wasn't the fighter one.

Calcharo would be perfect for it though! And, speaking of the devil, he heard a knock of his window, the usual sign of the other's visit and, would you look at that! Exactly who he was thinking about was now appearing at his doorway!

"Well, hello to you too, my dear friend~ Indeed, I do have cookies stocked up, but this time, you won't be the one eating them with Encore!" He winked, gesturing for the man to sit across from him where he was working. Resting his chin on his crossed hands, a grin on his face as he looked at Calcharo, Aalto began to explain... Or was going to before he noticed the guy's outfit and got distracted by it.

"Oh, my, did you dress all fancy just for little old me? I feel so honored! You shouldn't have, I don't mind your usual attire, but it does make me feel special now." Of course he knew it was probably a left over from a previous job, but no one said he wasn't allowed to tease him, especially since the suit looked so fancy!

"Encore would have loved it. Too bad she's not here today to see it, can I take a pic for her? Pretty please??"

Wait, didn't he forget was he was supposed to do there-

He’s never going to let Aalto know about it, but Calcharo does like to babysit Encore. The girl is fun to be around, and contrary to what it may seem, she does obey when told no. That, and he can manipulate her with food, which works pretty fine to his end as well. So, when he got a message from Aalto to drop by his office, Calcharo was already thinking about how his weekend would be spent playing with dolls and making sure that Encore doesn’t burn the house. He even passed by a shop where he thinks Encore would like to go, obviously forfeiting the bill to Aalto afterwards. And guess what? They have enough place the weekend, he doesn’t even have to make a reserve.

The work he just left behind was as driver. Calcharo has a lot of gigs, making ends meet is always a big affair to someone like him. He’s no longer dying poor, but the man has spent so long time worried about money that now he goes restless when he doesn’t have anything to do. Hence why he even ventured in the babysitting market.

Basically, Calcharo is a man with many talents.

Dressed like a chauffer (given that he was one, too), the white-haired male made his way to Aalto’s office. This is not new, to be called to Aalto’s new office instead of his home, so Calcharo didn’t suspect a thing. The man has a motorbike that he treasures a lot, and doesn’t really fit with the suit he’s using, but alas. You can’t be fashion always. When he gets to Aalto’s office, Calcharo knocks on the window to make his presence known, before rounding the building and entering through the door. “You better have cookies stocked up if you want me to take care of Encore for you,” warns the man sternly, as if it is impossible to fulfil the task otherwise. In a way, that’s exactly what it is.

more attack animation details in wuwa related to specifically aalto: he and mortefi despite sharing the same model have a slightly different heavy attack animation! mortefi's arm goes straight up after firing a shot to indicate recoil and aalto's goes slightly more in front of his face.

additionally, aalto, chixia, and mortefi ALL do some variation of spinning their guns after attacks, but the frequency and time taken reflect their personalities. mortefi's are quick, meant to show off while not taking too much time. chixia's are energetic and time consuming, but peppy enough not to seem like deliberate showmanship. aalto twirls a gun after each of his first three attacks, posing either during or after to indicate that fighting is something like a show for him :D

Well, it wasn't as if he could remain annoyed at a lady for too long. The small group of echoes had been taken care of and Encore was skipping back over to them, carrying the few plant samples that he'd came here for in the first place. "Nah, it wasn't entirely their fault - I should've annouced my intentions before just pew pewing", he laughed lightly, looking the young lady over for any signs of injuries, "Glad to see you seem alright though! Are you out here on your own? This srea can get rather dangerous". Maybe there would be more weight to his words, if there wasn't a small child now beaming by his side. "Uncle Aalto! Encore gathered them all!" "...I keep telling you - I'm too young to be your uncle", he sighed, knowing how useless the protest was to make, the little girl glancing towards the stranger instead, "Oh! Hello! Did Aalto scare you? I'm sorry about that!"

"For your information, I'm not here for pleasure but for work!" Aalto hummed as a reply, dancing around the labs, avoiding the furnitures and tools while looking at everything. He might not be using his mist here, but he was still as agile than when he did!

"I'm gathering informations, as usual~ Just waiting for my contact to show and I decided to come say hi to my favorite ginger scientist! Why, are you happy to see me? Now I'm hurt!"

He theatrically grasped his chest, where his heart was, sending hurt puppy eyes Mortefi's way, before his expression made a 180 and now his eyes were shining with curiosity and playfulness.

"Unless... Unless you are my contact and you wanted to play around a bit before business? My, my! How unexpected! You could have asked me directly, I don't mind!"

At that, he patted the other's shoulder with a grin, knowing what he just said was totally wrong. But, hey, he loved annoying the other when he could!

Hello there! The names Xay, I go by any pronouns and I'm 20 years old. I've been roleplaying for 8 years and consider myself to be advanced literate. I tend to flesh out my roleplay responses which end up making descriptions detailed haha - I love long responses, but will be alright with literate roleplayers! I match what I'm given, as long as it's not a few sentences.
