I decided to watch helluva boss and imma do 2 separate posts for seasons 1 and two (why did I write it like that…?)

Season one

God I love this show. The writing is way more my speed than Hazbin hotel on Amazon, I enjoyed the writing in the pilot, but once Amazon took over the humor just didn’t really land for me, and tbh the plot took over and I started focusing more on that, and in general I’m more partial to the rapid fire YouTube dry comedy and this sentence is a friggin mess- I found HB SO FREAKIN FUNNY

These are just my kinda lines, I don’t know how to explain it, I was wheezing all throughout the season

The music OH LORD when I say I’ve listened to stolas’s lullabye, lulu land, cotton candy, and house of ozmodius like 100000 times I’m… exaggerating but like you get the point the music here is friggin fantastic I also really like how a lot of the music is diegetic, I think that’s a fun touch. I don’t remember whether this is the case in Hazbin, but in this one it was like… I don’t know, it made sense that they were singing when they were singing… am I articulating myself well? I don’t care, iykyk if not, no prob

The animation is great, Viv loves them spinny shots and I am here for it. The amount of genuinely amazing action scenes is super impressive, and even the chill scenes have a ton of personality

The voice acting might be what steals the show for me, idrk anyone’s names cept Alex Brightman but BLITZS VA NEEDS AN AWARD, also slight tangent but I don’t know what it is with stolas’s va but he sounds a lot like a bird in the same sense that Gary Oldman sounded a lot like a bird in Kung Fu Panda 2, what is it that casting directors recognize in actors that screams bird?! Because both of these men are just SO BIRD DOES ANYONE GET WHAT I MEAN moving on, Ozzie’s voice was also effing PERFECT it slid silkily over me like… silk butter or smtg it was the perfect lust voice, I loved it. Everyone else was also great, but they were extra great.

It was also just so fun? Like in hazbin there’s very little just… shenanigans to enjoy, nothing wrong with that because it’s not that type of show, whereas this season is jam packed with them. Like I’ve heard that everyone hated episode 4, but like I don’t know I loved it😆 I just found it to be good old fashioned chicanery, and I liked the chaos and stupidity of it, made for some entertaining TV. This story engine is just mad entertaining for me.

I also enjoyed the writing of most of the characters (Millie, Moxxie, Loona, and Octavia still leave a bit to be desired imo, but whatever, they can’t all be winners and there’s nothing wrong with them) Blitz kinda reminds me of a Barney Stinson type character, which I really enjoy, and I also really like how his boss persona kinda infects everything he does while simultaneously being what’s screwing him over, his nature is kinda like a snake swallowing its own tail, which is tragic and beautiful, and Stolas compliments him well by being, not an enabler, but… I don’t know a clever way to say this… Stolas is a wreck in the best way and he just works. He’s short sighted, like extremely so, like how he thinks sleeping with Blitz will fill his emotional void so he does it but it just drives them further apart so it’s like he’s in a hole and in order to get out he’s gonna dig to pile up dirt so he can climb out but he’s an idiot and that’s a stupid idea and I loved his whole arc. Very enjoyable stuff drama.

Kinda random but whoever Viv’s foli artist is also deserves an award, the sound effects in this show are pristine and it’s incredible (yes I’ve seen the scene where the gun sounds go off a few seconds too late, and yeah, mistakes happen, but every bone crunch sounds and other stuff like that being so enunciated in an indie show is extremely impressive)

Anyhoo, very fun, very emotional, nice to look at, very funny, yada yada- altogether great season 1.

Moxxie straightens his posture, clearly intimidated but trying his best to hold his ground. His tail flicks nervously as he adjusts his tie, looking up at Lucifer with wide, startled eyes. Oh crumbs. Why did he have to be confronted by the King of Hell, shouldn’t it be Blitz? Crumbs crumbs crumbs.

"Ah, uh… yes, sir, that would be me," Moxxie admits with a nervous chuckle, glancing briefly at the cane pointed at him. "Though, to be fair, 'mess' might be a bit of an overstatement! I was simply… investigating! You know, for the greater good! Cleaning up the real mess, if you will!"

He clasps his hands behind his back, visibly sweating now. "And if I might add, it’s all very under control. No harm, no foul! Heh…" His smile falters, and he takes a half-step back. "…Right?"

Having just been in the middle of some conversation going on between himself and his collegues, a ruckus causes his head to turn in search of it's source. Not expecting the sight he's in for.

A reptilian, blue scaled and feathered beast rampaging in a trajectory pathway directly towards himself. Why is it set on him? He doesn't have time to figure any answer to that, his tail whips and draws in closer to him as he puts his arms up in self-defense. "Oh crumbs. Oh crumbs. Oh crumbs!" He should reach for a gun, he should fight back but he still hasn't gotten over feeling bad for unknowing and possibly innocent types. Was he really being attacked. They'd just dealt with a much larger dragon not too long ago, what were the odds?!

With pride month on the horizon, let's talk characters and their sexualities and gender identities! While these are different, they're both part of the community, and it's important to discuss, especially when talking about those who are more marginalized.

Starting with canon characters!

Angel Dust - The way I write Angel is homosexual and demiromantic. Which means that he is attracted to men and does not form romantic attachments without first forming an emotional connection. I also write him as genderqueer, which means he's not entirely cis. He likes to play around with gender and gender expression, but doesn't necessarily have or want a different label, though he might figure something else out down the line.

Asmodeus - Ozzie is pansexual, demiromantic, and genderfluid. He is attracted to any and all genders, but again only forms romantic attachments with an emotional connection. This also means he's on the ace spectrum! And as far as his gender goes, while he frequently presents as male and mostly uses masculine pronouns, there are absolutely days where that is not the case. Sometimes he prefers to present more femme, and he might decide to use feminine pronouns that day. Or he might present more femme, while sticking with masculine pronouns. Another possibility is more androgynous, in both presentation and pronouns. The possibilities are honestly endless. He's just Ozzie, no matter what, and that's what's important.

Charlie - While she is bisexual and biromantic, Charlie is sapphic-leaning. Which means that she prefers partners who are not men. Because "bi" in her case does not mean "only men and women;" it is simply the label she is comfortable with, the one she vibes with.

Husk - While most people would judge him based on appearances and think he's straight, Husk is pansexual and demiromantic. It really doesn't matter what's in someone's pants, as far as he's concerned. Romantic relationships are a whole different story, and he's had far fewer of those, especially after ending up in Hell.

Lucifer - The King of Hell is pansexual and panromantic; he sees someone attractive and does the "oh no, they're hot" meme regardless of gender. He's also not entirely cis, but doesn't really have a label for that part of himself. Maybe he'll settle on one later, but for now, he's fine just being Lucifer.

Moxxie - This particular imp is bisexual, biromantic, and polyamorous! Moxxie is also demiboy, which means that, while he does vibe with the gender he was assigned at birth, there are times where he Does Not. He's exploring that part of himself, with support from Millie, and also through discovering different parts of himself within the terms of their ethical nonmonogamy.

Stolas - Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia is homosexual and demiromantic. Which again means that he is only attracted to men, and does not form romantic attachments without an emotional connection. In his case, he also finds it difficult to be sexually attracted to someone without an emotional connection, which also puts him on the ace spectrum, both sexually and romantically. Additionally, though he has not had a chance to explore his gender on any level, really, that is something that will likely happen in the future.

Vortex - While Tex is probably the most cis muse on this list, he is definitely not the straightest. This hellhound is pansexual, panromantic, and polyamorous! He's had relationships with all sorts of people; he's chill as long as his partner is chill. Unlike Moxxie, he has had romantic relationships with multiple partners at once, as long as all parties involved are aware and amenable.

And now for my OCs!

Ardor - Another pansexual, panromantic, polyamorous muse! While he is pan, Ardor tends to be male-leaning. He's had multiple partners in the past, though his primary partner will always be Zeal.

Cain - Pansexual and demiromantic, Cain doesn't have much of a preference as far as partners go. He hasn't had that many romantic relationships, falling on the aromantic spectrum; he just hasn't really been interested, instead focusing his time on making sure Hell remains fed.

Echo - The definition of genderfluid. Echo's presentation is usually androgynous or masc-leaning, as they were AFAB in life. They're also pansexual and panromantic, which means that they're very much into just about anyone.

Johnny - While he didn't necessarily know the proper terms to describe himself when he was alive, Johnny is both bisexual and biromantic. Like Charlie, this just means that this is the label he prefers. He does tend to lean more into women, but he would be equally as happy with someone of any gender, as long as they treated him well and appreciated him properly.

I.M.P had not one, not two but three gigs for the day, which has been bit too hectic fro Moxxie's taste. Now he was on his way back home, carrying a bag of groceries in his hands. Plan for he night was cook something delicious, take a nice long bath, relax while having a cup of tea. Too bad destiny had other plans!

Just as Moxx opened the door to his apartment he already could smell blood which made the little imp close the front door quietly behind him before setting the bag of groceries on a floor. Slowly reaching out to a gun in his pocket he sneaked deeper indoors just to see a trail of blood coming from kitchen-... to his bedroom.

"Well that's not good" he commented, then following the trail to his bedroom door. The person who was bleeding, was hopefully alive. He was so not gonna call a police to his house and make this place a crime scene! Not after the day he had! With a switft movement Moxxie opened the door just to see who was laying there on his bed, at least he was still alive.

"Chaz!?" of course it had to be Chaz, who else!? At this point Moxxie didn't know would he just leave him be or help him out. Lucky for the shark Moxxie wasn't that heartless, he'd make one bad mafioso for caring too much. "Just hang on-.." Moxxie put his gun away and rushed to get his first aid kit. If anything he learned by living under his dad's roof was to tend wounds and stuff.

First he had to take Chaz's shirts off. "If you make on sexual joke swear to Satan I'll throw you out" he was not in a mood for that. Now it was time to tend wounds. First disinfect, then patch those up with gauze. He also gave Chaz a shot of morphine so he wouldn't be in pain.

"Save your breath, and rest. You'll be fine." Moxxie did all he could for now. The only thing the imp could do now was to wait until Chaz felt even a little better, then he'd chew the hell outta the shark himself.

A night to remember

The neon lights of Hell’s cityscape glowed dimly through the haze of sulfur and smoke as Moxxie stumbled down the cracked pavement. His cheeks were flushed a deep crimson—not from Hell’s natural heat, but from the contents of the bottle dangling precariously in his hand. The sharp tang of whatever questionable liquor he’d bought from the latest bar still lingered on his tongue.

The Imp wobbled on his feet, his usually sharp, sarcastic demeanor replaced with a rare, uninhibited softness. His tie was askew, his usual polished composure unraveling with every step. Before he realized it, Moxxie found himself standing in front of Blitzø's apartment door. How he got there was a mystery—perhaps a drunken instinct or the undeniable magnetic pull Blitzø seemed to have on his life. Either way, Moxxie wasn’t about to turn back now.

He knocked—or rather, pounded—on the door with an exaggerated flourish, slurring, "Blitz! Open up! Yer… yer boss needs me… no, wait, I need you…" The past week since Millie’s death he had been trying so hard to keep it together, still showing up on time for work, albeit a little hung over. But tonight the drink was talking. Tonight Blitz would see just how wasted Moxx had been getting the last few nights. Anything to forget. Anything to avoid going to an empty home…

Bad end for Mad Moxxi: a group of psychos just storm her bar, go to town on her, then drag her out of there to keep for themselves.

Detailed Bad End

What those Psychos failed to comprehend was that Moxxi was originally a Hodunk, so they would get the time of their lives whilst they could. Whatever holes Moxxi had, those Psychos went to town on, completely and utterly violating her body whilst she moaned out to the skies.

Once they dragged her off, she was subject to numerous different ways Bandits had "fun" whilst not pillaging and being menaces, which both served as her way of getting off, as well as making money. Enough money to eventually pay them off and allow them to visit one of her recently established bars where any of them could request a 'private audience' with her.

This wasn't so much a bad end for her, but more a bad end for the Psychos, as she had way more sexual stamina then those corporate outcasts.
