❝ does your character work so they can support their hobbies or use their hobbies as a way of filling up the time they aren’t working?

kino doesn’t work at all. it’s not that he doesn’t want to, but he just feels like he doesn’t need to. daehyun had pushed him back into education after he missed an entire year after his parents left, so he graduated very recently. but daehyun had always taken good care of him and always insisted that kino didn’t have to get a job. it’s more of daehyun working to support kino’s hobbies.

❝ how does your character feel about sex? 

in all fairness, kino thought about it quite a lot as many do as they grow up and such. he never acted on it or did anything prior to his current situation because he didn’t trust the random strangers he encountered. now though? he’s still a bit shy about it, but he’s game for anything. 

❝ what would your character make a scene in public about?

kino is a pretty patient kid so it would take quite a bit to get him to create a scene in public. if we’re talking a negative type of scene, it would have to be someone treating him or duri or just anyone he cares about poorly. he’s only 5′4, but he’ll stand up for his family like he’s 6′8. as for something more positive, literally anything that gets him excited. he’ll be bouncing and yelling about whatever’s got him so excited. and gosh, when he laughs?? he’s so loud. all eyes on him.

K - What’s their Youtube suggestions look like? 

he watches a lot of art channel videos, paint mixing, random space-related videos, and lyrics to songs duri likes to sing/rap to (just so he can keep up) 

I - In general, are they organized or messy? 

kino is generally really messy. he’s gotta better at organizing his things ever since he started living with daehyun. however, his room is littered with art supplies and unfinished artworks and journals. as well as clothes here and there. very rarely will he make his bed and folded clothes often sit in the basket for days. 

N - Are they clumsy and/or prone to accidents? 

kino can be quite careless at times, but he isn’t terribly clumsy. ever since he finally started living under daehyun’s care/roof, he’s been spending a lot more time appreciating things instead of watching his back everywhere he went. with this new sense of free will comes with kino spending more time admiring the world around him. he used to fear it when he was without his brother, woojin; but he re-discovered his love for the world when he met daehyun. 

O - How much have they changed in the past five years?

kino feels safer. he doesn’t have to worry about when he’ll get his next meal or where he’s going to sleep. he doesn’t have to worry about if someone’s going to attack him and take advantage of his small stature. kino also feels happier. not as happy as he would like to be (given the fact that things are still rocky between him and woojin), but happy enough to say it out loud.

70 HORRIBLE QUESTIONS … FUCK IT

01: Do you have a good relationship with your parents?

“yeah! my dads and i are super close!” kino’s beaming with joy as he talks about daehyun and kyu. as for his biological parents… definitely not. they had abandoned him when woojin went off for school. kino wants nothing to do with either of them.  

04: Are you insecure?

“mm… no not really!” although for the most part this is true, he gets very self-conscious when it comes to his height. it’s not like he can do anything to control it and he actually does like it (he finds it very unique as opposed to guys who are super tall & he knows it adds an extra cute factor); but when he becomes very aware of just how short he is (let it be in crowds/around friends, reaching for things, the fit of his clothes, etc) then he feels smaller than he already is. that’s when he feels most insecure.

10: When was your last physical fight?

“never! i don’t like fighting.” there were a couple times when he was living on the streets where he had to shove people really hard, but he spent most of his time running. he felt like he was always too small/weak to win a fight alone. 

11: Do you like someone?

“i like all of my dad’s friends!” he isn’t quite sure of it yet, but he has a big crush on duri. he likes him a lot more than he realizes. he probably thinks this is how having a best friend is suppose to feel like (if he’s following after daehyun and kyu).

14: Do you miss someone?

kino stays silent. as much as he wants to pretend he hates him, he misses his older brother. woojin was his best friend growing up. even though he knew deep down that he didn’t leave him the same way his parents did, kino still feels hurt whenever he thinks about him.

17: Ever made out in the bathroom?

“mm… no.” he blushes at the thought. him and duri have done so plenty of times (once a relationship is established).

21: What are your plans for this weekend?

“i might go hang out with duri or my uncles!” 

38: Is this year the best year of your life?

“mm… one of them!” ever since daehyun took him in two years ago, his life has been so much better. he’s forever grateful for the new family that daehyun provided him. 

62: What makes you happy?

“being with my family, art, going on walks, aah… going grocery shopping!.. even though i just put a lot of junk food in the cart that i hide in my room.”
