"Sucker Punch!" Before Jolteon could move in, Ariados quickly swooped in and socked the Pokemon hard. Jolteon was knocked a bit back but quickly shook it off.

"Hit it back! Use Double Kick!" Jolteon jumped in and kicked Ariados twice with its hind legs, knocking the spider back.

"Come on, Rock! Don't let that creep push you around with his attacks!"

"Infestation!" Ariados sent dozens of tiny bugs out to torment Jolteon.

"Ugh! That's like something right out of my nightmares..."

"Don't give up, Rock!" Gloria cheered.

"You got this, Rock!" As did Minako.

"Show him your true strength, Rock." And Batman.

"Shut the onlookers up, Ariados! Shadow Sneak that Jolteon!" Ariados disappeared into the shadows and reemerged behind Jolteon, striking it suddenly from behind!"

Idea: Changing up from the fridge terror/epicness of the group's struggle to survive in the Tragedy, branch off from the timeline of events and transport them to a school in a parallel dimension where anyone can show up at any time! This is Multimuse Cluster*@#%!

REVEAL

“I’ve ensured our routes have been covered and secured. We were not followed and the local fauna will not disturb us.”

Tapping the side of her temple, Ami’s prismatic display dissipated and she silently sat on the ground adjacent to the Barbarian. The warrior scoffed and scooted several inches away, as if to avoid being in any close vicinity to the bluenette.

The mercurian noble curled her legs in, extending her arms towards the crackling fire of the campsite to warm herself. It was… strangely quiet this evening. No chatter, no banter, not even a sly remark flew into the air.

Glancing over the flames, her blue eyes scanned the scene:

Makoto was off to the side, arm resting on a folded knee adorned with leather. A permanent scowl fixated onto her face as she stared at the flames with utter disdain.

Minako’s arm, encased in metal, scraped against her sword in rhythmic strokes. Sharpening the blade and smoothing out any significant blemishes or tears from previous battles. Her normally cheery face stuck in a perpetual frown.

In between Minako and Usagi, Rei silently meditated and prayed in the Lunarian church’s typical method. On her knees, staff atop her thighs, with hands clasped firmly against her chest.

Finally, Usagi sat crisscrossed and brushed her thumb against her firearm. Holding it so tightly her pale knuckles somehow turned even whiter. Her breathing deep and through with her lithe shoulders rising, then falling in perfect cadence.

This was… different. Frightening almost. Everything went silent with only the thumping of her heart pounding within the recesses of her analytical mind.

Swallowing the lump that formed in her throat, Ami spoke barely above a whisper...

“…Did something happen while I was gone?”

And with those accursed words, the floodgates shattered under the tension.

“Yeah… Something DID happen, no thanks to you.”

Makoto began, terse and crude as usual without any meaningful tact to speak of. The armored behemoth stood, her armor clanking with the patterned bark of a nearby tree.

“Reality. Reality set in… We’re all gallivanting around towards the Northern Pole and that damned D-point… but do we even have a plan? The hell are we supposed to do? Even the mightiest legions of the kingdom’s warriors couldn’t take Beryl down. What makes all of you think WE can?”

The brunette snapped, a small crackle of electricity arcing from her brow to around her ponytail like a magic coil before dissipating into small sparks… no one uttered a word, all of them harbored faces of mild shock. Makoto had expressed intense fits of anger before, but never to such a degree where it felt personal.

“W-well… I… Um… We could…”

Usagi stammered, sifting through her mind to try and find some answer, any answer that might quell the jovian’s fury. Yet, she couldn’t. Try and try again, nothing sprouted. Leaving her to putter out and fall silent once again, much to Makoto’s annoyance who groaned audibly.

“Ugh… You’re the one who convinced us to go on this blasted quest. You’d have barely survived were it not for us! Hell, that firearm of yours, whatever the fuck it is, threatens to blast off your damn should anytime you shoot it. If we never came along, how would you have even defeated the Dark Kingdom? By yourself?!”

Usagi fell silent, fighting back tears of anguish. The weight of the situation truly began accumulating on her shoulders. In over her head. Weak. Small. Worthless. All these words and more accumulated within her head. The blonde curled into ball, head firmly against her legs as she shuddered.

“…I-I’m sorry.”

The softness of Usagi’s apology forced Minako’s hand, her instincts kicked in as she discarded her swords and dissolved the metal encasing her arm. Wrapping them around Usagi and brushing her shoulder with reassurance… Cerulean eyes darted towards Makoto, thousands of invisible arrows piercing the mini-giant’s skin.

“You brute. How dare you make an innocent girl cry! Have you no shame? Nary the tiniest ounce of shame or sympathy?”

“Did the Dark Kingdom show the other Terran kingdoms sympathy?! Do you think those monsters feel shame? Like hell they do! They’ve destroyed, assimilated, and ravaged anything they’ve touched!”

“Don’t you wish to stop them? To end their tyranny?!”

“I WANT TO RAZE THEM TO THE GROUND!! BUT HOW THE FUCK ARE WE GOING TO DO IT WITH THIS WEAKLING LEADING US TO INEVITABLE DESTRUCTION?!”

Makoto huffed, puffed, and clenched her calloused fists. Her breathing ragged with frustration as multiple sparks of electricity crackled from her fingertips and face.

Everyone stared at her with even greater shock, Usagi having devolved into a fit of tears that nearly made the poor girl heave her inside out. The barbarian could do nothing but grumble and squeeze her fists tighter than ever, threatening to draw blood.

“I just…”

Before Makoto could start another tangent, she was silenced by Rei who had broken from her mediation and rose to her feet when none were looking. Even Ami displayed mild surprise for she too had paid little attention to Rei this entire ordeal.

“There’s something that’s been bothering me for a long time, ever since we started on our journey.”

Rei began, quietly stepping towards the epicenter of their campground. A contemplative look enshrouded her face, illuminated with a potential epiphany.

“Usagi. You wiled powerful light magic. Not just offensive, but defensive and healing. All venoms don’t affect you. The paralyzing breath of a Basilisk barely phase you. A gorgon’s gaze reflected off of you and turned her to stone. You have little adventuring experience, you managed to cure my terminal illness, and you’re so adamant in defeating the Dark Kingdom in such a way I’ve never seen replicated, even by the most staunch of knights in the Moon Kingdom.”

Minako stood, blocking Usagi’s body from Rei’s advance and staring her down with a steely gaze.

“What are you getting at, Priest?”

Rei gazed down towards the shriveling rabbit and back to Minako, letting out a prolonged sigh as she concluded her thoughts.

“Usagi… Are you Princess Serenity?”

In that moment a strong gale blew through the campsite, extinguishing the fire and leaving behind only the smoldering charcoals in its wake.

What was originally mild shock from Makoto’s lack of discernible tact was swapped to an outright paralyzing blow to all present. Sure, Usagi was multi-faceted, displayed traits unseen in most gunslingers, but Minako, Ami, and even Makoto all chalked it up to raw, underutilized potential.

The three in question stared at Usagi and the dots began to connect… Signature bun and noodle hairstyle, unrivaled light magic, inhuman healing capacities… B-but it was a mere coincidence? The princess rarely left the castle, let alone would dawdle all this way from home- Wait.

“…The princess went missing, didn’t she? The entire kingdom was thrown into a panic because of it. Our only lead was that she had been kidnapped by a spy from the Dark Kingdom who had managed to infiltrate the servant ranks.”

Ami recalled, still staring at Usagi with confused eyes. It was… beyond logic, beyond reason, beyond even her imagination.

Sniffling Usagi finally lifted her face meekly from her thighs. It was flushed, both cheeks and eyes puffy with hints of red from irritation. A final streak of tears cascaded down her right cheek and dropped to the ground… a small flower began to instantly bloom from its place, sprouting into a pearly white rose, much to the quartet’s surprise.

Heaving once more, she collapsed under the pressure, unable to conceal it any longer.

“…Yes… Yes, yes I am. I’m Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. Daughter of Queen Serenity. Heir to the Lunarian throne. I’m so sorry I had to lie to you all, but I couldn’t… I didn’t want anyone to help me just because I was their princess… I wanted to prove I was something m-more than that. My title and prestige replaced with one that was earned, not gifted simply because I was fortunate in life… I’m so sorry I deceived you all.”

The final embers of the charcoals sizzled out, leaving the group in total darkness. Even if their faces were concealed in shadow, each of them harbored varying expressions of intense emotion. Bewilderment top of them all.

Several minutes would pass with none daring to speak a word, each deconstructing and absorbing the bombshell that had been dropped… The Princess. Right there. In front of their faces. The entire time.

“…I yelled at Princess Serenity. Spat and swore to her face… her adorable, innocent face… Uuuuuguuguguuh… I’m going to hell for entirety when I die because of this… Fuck me sideways down the winding path of fate…”

She's a seamstress who does a lot of cosplays and fancy clothes (she does custom lolita dresses because she's a bustier gal who understands that off-the-wrack ones tend to be weirdly sized for anyone who doesn't have the proportions of a child). Minako had a lot she was getting use since coming back. Giving up everything she had for the Great Seal. All that time she lost,and everyone growing up. Being back even more then a year when Elizabeth found a way to bring her back. Minako still found things strange. Didn't help that some of things she had to get use to where the others were all older.

What did shock the hell out of her was when it struck Midnight and it stuck. Electronics stopped and the sky turned green. Coffins surrounded her. Minako blinked as she looked around. This couldn't be happen. The Dark Hour was gone. It was gone. Nyx was gone. They had won. She lost a year of her life being the Great Seal because of this. So why was the dark hour.

"No," She reached for her evoker, but she didn't carry one anymore. She had no weapon or anything. She didn't carry anything like that anymore because things were fine. There hadn't been a dark hour. She couldn't freak out, but she did feel a surge. Thanatos was with her.

"Huh who are you?" What she also saw was someone she had never seen. Someone who could walk around during the dark hour was rare. Most people were considered to have the potential and Persona users. Some where not, but for the most part you had a Persona.

The relic of Creation, as Atlas has parked in their nation it was up to them to watch such a powerful item, with any creativity anything could be created. But in the wrong hands, it could be dangerous.

SWISH, TING, GASH, SLASH

BOOM!

Atlas, failed and now a wanted criminals was trying to get away with the relic, a bandit they been looking for ages ago had his hands wrapped around the item- it only wasn't chopped off due to his gauntlets- Lance luckily intercepted him.

"With this the sky's beyond the limits! The boarder is just the start to wall off weak-minded fools!" He stated, behind his shades.

"..." Lance didn't waste time, he'd charge him, colliding weapon for weapon, as his foe would grab the cane and a portal would open up behind them both; The two would fall in, seeing....modern town, on the water, they were over a school.

"I'll trap you in another world and then take over-" Raising the cane high in his hand during their freefall.

The vacuian-demon emerged, slashing his arm, and taking it clean off, fire dust so it cauterized the wound, but the relic would fly out, without Aura, it was just a cane.

"You bastard! Come my summon!" A sigil will open up in the sky and out would pop a messed up dragon, all mouth and wings, like a nightmare made manifest.

"Falcor, COME!" And alongside that would be a mighty owl, the four would clash as the cane would fall to the ground, right infront of a trader.

An hour later.

For some reason the relic disappeared, and that made a weird realm appear, full of odd shadow like blobs, the sky would turn green and a group of messed up towards reached towards the sky. "What in the world....!?" Lance stared in disbelief that the school transformed and changed, could it be the relic? He wondered how he'd find it with just him and Falcor.
